Another home illustration I did for Birdwood Games' upcoming board game about rehoming dogs called Forever Home!

Was lovely to paint so many warm, comfy scenes.

Question: Why the heck are there still builders at your home?

Dan: Great question.

Phil: The builders are never leaving. There's always a new issue. *Dan laughs*. Hey, we're on the cusp of this house being finished and then suddenly-

Dan: Poof!

Phil: -poof! A new thing has happens.

Dan: And it's like they can fix one thing once every two months, so we still don't have a bath. In three years, we got a bath!

Phil: We got a bath! And it has hot and cold tabs.

Dan: Still no sink that works in a little closet bathroom we have.

Phil: Upstairs sink.

Dan: There is no upstairs sink, but maybe, three and a half years.

Phil: We could get a sink.

Dan: We'll see what's going on here.

Meet Nova!

Nova is a 9.5 month old shorthair tabby – male, neutered, and microchipped.

His current home situation is not good for him or anyone here - he needs a new home ASAP.

Nova is playful and active, clumsy, doesn’t mind being picked up, and will happily sit in laps when he’s tired of playing. He’s social and friendly and loves open windows.

Nova will come with a nice carrier, all of his toys, a couple cat beds, his scratching post, a few blankets and towels, and all of his medical history.

Nova has digestive difficulties, so his dietary needs are particular, but his current regimen is working well for managing his symptoms and letting him live a normal kitty life.

Trying to make the Phouse in tbe sims for my dnp to move into and it’s taking ages bc I have to juts kinda make up the floorplan as I go from the small amount of pics and angles we have 😭 it’s so hard to make it accurate but I also get they need privacy and don’t wanna do a tour of it but plzzzzz I need it to be accurate for my game 😭

I am sure at least one of my mutuals needs to hear this.

Late last night, some a-hole dumped a cute terrier near my campground. Some kind campers found him, and put him in the dog yard so the little guy would be safe until staff arrived in the morning.

This morning, the kind campers came back to see if anybody had claimed the little fellow or if he was indeed, abandoned. Then they hemmed and hawed a bit, cuz he was such a friendly sweet little guy. And he had gotten along great with their dogs.

Thats right, he had stolen their hearts—so the campers decided to give him a forever home!

So if you are having a bad day, I want you to know that this morning, an abandoned dog left happy and safe with his new pack, and he will be getting a lot of love and having many adventures!!!🥹

Does anyone have any advice for finding a cockatiel to adopt? I want to get the process started. I've been reaching out to rescues all around my area without much luck. They either turn me away because I'm too far, don't get back to me, or seem really shady. There are no cockatiels within 100 miles of me on petfinder.

I'd really prefer to rehome or adopt as I feel uncomfortable supporting breeders.

Limmy has been extra clingy and anxious since Poppy passed, I feel that she's lonely and unsettled. I also want to give a loving home to a birdie that needs it, but there just aren't any nearby that I can find! :(

If anyone out there sees this and is looking for a rehome for their tiel: I am in the midwest of the united states. DM with info about your bird and we can chat. I am looking for a female cockatiel so she can eventually be Limmy's cagemate (after a 1 month quarantine and testing by vet, just to be safe!)

I'm looking for a home with loving humans, because my current care giver can't keep me, and shelters will euthanize me.

Nova needs a forever home!

Nova is a 9 month old classic tabby – male, neutered, and microchipped.

Nova has Feline Coronavirus which is contagious to other cats. Most cats can kick the virus, but Nova cannot. He needs a safe home where he no longer has to be isolated. Other pets and people totally okay! Only cats are at risk.

Nova has all of his claws but he has never tried to claw the couch or curtains – he likes his scratching post. He is playful and active, clumsy, doesn’t mind being picked up, and will happily sit in laps when he’s tired of playing. He’s social and friendly and loves open windows.

Nova will come with a nice carrier, all of his toys, a couple cat beds, his scratching post, a few blankets and towels, and all of his medical history.

Nova has dietary restrictions. As a symptom of his virus Nova has digestive difficulties, so his dietary needs are sort of high maintenance but his current regimen is working well for managing his symptoms and letting him live a normal kitty life.

A year ago, a friend of my sister's had a kid diagnosed with cancer, and they decided to move to be closer to his treatment center. Unfortunately, they realized they couldn't take their dog, so the asked around to see if someone was willing.

My sister likes animals, but she doesn't LOVE animals. But she loves her daughters, so when they pleaded with her, she gave in and took in the dog. She was not expecting to fall in love with him, but she did.

Now she can't imagine not having him around.
