It’s something about the manner in which the knife cuts through meat and muscle–something about how things come together in the pot that makes Jisun happy as can be. Home isn’t home, she’d think, when the kitchen hasn’t got windows that rays of sun enter through on warm mornings, or when the cupboards and cabinets aren’t stocked for visiting friends or midnight snacks. There’s a romance, a magic, a unique rightness in a home where one cooks for both body and soul.
“Good girl,” she muses, finding the beef sitting in a basin of water on the countertop, “can always count on Jiheonnie.” She replaces the now-cool water with a new pool fresh from the tap, before gathering the rest of the ingredients and getting to work.
Jisun opens door after door of cupboards, taking out each of the rest of the ingredients in turn: green and brown onions, sesame seeds and sesame oil, sugar and salt, garlic and ginger, red and black pepper. Cute, she thought, that each had a partner.
The sun watches intently from the other side of the window, filling her kitchen with a calming warmth you'd scarcely find anywhere else. The clouds rein in the too-intrusive rays, while specks of pollen merrily dance across the glass pane. With her celestial audience on the edge of their seats, she gets to work.
“Yeah it's you, yeah it's you,” Jisun hums under her breath. She measures out each portion carefully, transferring them into tiny bowls that matched colors and handles and rims. It must be something in her bones today, how her step is sprightly and her fingers reach and flex with less poignancy than she's used to.
It isn't long before she thinks back, a green onion steady between the countertop and her left hand while a knife is secure in her right, that she remembers when Jiwon held them wrong and almost cut her finger open. She recalls Hayoung slicing peppers, followed by onions, rubbing her eyes in between every couple of strokes to push away persistent tears that never seemed to run out. She smiles at the memory of Jiheon not knowing solid and liquid measuring cups were different, and the resultant cake falling flatter and growing firmer than their beloved maknae had liked.
Her lip finds itself between her teeth, thinking “Good thing they have me,” as the once-long stalk of green onion grows shorter and shorter. “What would they do without me?”
And yet, it was nothing compared to the contrary. It waltzes to the front of her mind, amidst draining the thawed beef of its former frost, how Saerom put her arm under her after a particularly rough day of practice. It shone like the sun, as Jisun mixes the paste, how Seoyeon talked her ear off when Jisun had run out of things to say. The rush of fondness fills her chest remembering how Nagyung complained when Jisun saw herself in the mirror and frowned at the reflection, all the while she works the marinade into the meat.
As she places each strip into the smoking wok, Chaeyoung enters her mind, the same way Chaeyoung entered the practice room in the baggiest pants Jisun had ever seen, only to pull out a Melona for them to share with their backs against the CCTVs. The scent and symphony of sizzling meat fills her kitchen with a profound sense of melancholy, remembering walking with Gyuri one morning before the sun rose, just one lap around the building, and yet it so happened that it was enough to share four years’ worth of troubles with each other.
She tips the wok over a respectfully waiting plate. The meat steams and settles onto the surface, expelling the tensions of the stove and relaxing into a Jisun-like state.  The green onions fall predictably onto the food, meeting nooks and crannies in the meat with attention that welcomes a tongue seeking solace in homemade comfort. A final touch, Jisun thought, to finish the job, to give the palate something to want to come home to the next time it wanders out into the wide, wonderful world: just a drizzling of honey– not too much, certainly not too little. The viscous liquid spreads all over the dish, sending its enticingness to new heights and bringing the delicacy together.
At last, her meal is nearly complete. Jisun sets it on the dining table, right in the center of the square wooden surface. She admires it for a moment, the hard work of the past half hour lost on the world but not on her, before she clears her throat to finally, fully, completely allow herself to enjoy the fruits of her labor…
“Girls, time to eat!” She then counts silently, one, two, three– frantic footsteps grow louder and louder until Jiwon and Hayoung come crashing into the room. They both shriek, “I want to sit next to Jisun!” It makes her giggle, just as much as seeing Seoyeon and Jiheon holding hands and walking in step towards the table themselves. Nagyung and Chaeyoung follow, still glued to Nagyung's phone as Chaeyoung points to the screen, “That's the guy I was telling you about,” before they take a seat across from her.
Jisun takes a deep breath, waiting for one more, and it comes in the form of a comforting hand on her shoulder and a pat on her hair. “Thank you, Jisun,” Saerom whispers with nothing but love in her voice. Her leader takes a piece of the meat and makes a show of eating it, and it's almost comical how much she overreacts. “Holy shit, this is delicious–” Saerom mutters, her hand over her mouth.
Nagyung pipes up, “Thank you, Jisun-unnie,” prompting a slew of variations from each other member at the table, until a cacophony of gratitude fills Jisun's ears. The warmth of their love spreads through her body, filling her with gratitude of her own.
“You're welcome, girls. Eat well,” she says, as she finally takes a piece of meat for her own, giddy in the anticipation of knowing that it'll be one of the most delicious bites of food she'll ever have.

I fell asleep on the beach today, the sand felt like a comforting blanket. The sound of the waves and the gentle caress of the ocean breeze sent me into a deep slumber. In my dream, I saw her. Hayoung. She was as radiant as ever, her long hair shined like silk in the sunlight. She leaned in close, her fingers delicately stroking my face, and her sweet smile filled me with a warmth that I had missed for so long.
"Do you remember our promise?" she whispered, like a melody from our past.
I woke up abruptly, the dream dissipating like morning mist. The sky was a brilliant blue, and the sea sparkled under the midday sun, but a sense of sadness lingered. It had been years since I last saw Hayoung, and yet, she still visited my dreams as if no time had passed at all.
I sat up, brushing the sand off my clothes, and gazed out at the horizon. Life on Seonhae Island had a way of making time feel fluid, yet my memories of Hayoung remained vivid and unchanging. I loved her then, and I realized I still loved her now. But she was in Seoul, living a life that seemed impossible to reach.
After high school, Hayoung had moved to Seoul to pursue her dream of becoming an idol. She succeeded, of course. Her talent and determination made her a star, adored by flovers. I followed her career from afar, watching every performance and buying every album. Yet, despite the pride I felt, there was always an underlying sadness, a longing for the days when she was just a girl with dreams, sharing secrets with me under the big tree besides our school which now has been abandoned due to declining birth rates on the island.
At 28, I had settled into a routine on the island, working at my family's fishing business. The days were predictable, and while I found comfort in the familiarity within the island with all the residents, there was always a part of me that longed for something more, something that had gone long time ago along with Hayoung's departure.
One afternoon, as I was mending nets by the dock, my mother approached me with a smile that hinted she was up to something. “We have guests arriving today. I need you to help with the preparations.”
I was puzzled but didn’t question it. It was common for us to have family friends visit during the summer. I went doing my tasks, setting up the dining area and helping with the cooking. As evening fell, the doorbell rang, and my heart dropped when I saw who stepped through the door.
It was Hayoung.
She looked as radiant as ever, wearing a red dress that completed her graceful figure. The color suited her, making her look even more beautiful, if that was possible. There was a softness in her eyes that I remembered from our childhood. For a moment, time stood still. All the years melted away, and it felt like it was just the two of us again, as if she had never left.
Before I could say anything, she spotted our dog, Jjangi, who jumped towards her with excitement. Hayoung dropped to her knees, wrapping her arms around Jjangi, her laughter filling the room.
"Jjangi! I missed you so much," she said, burying her face in his fur. Jjangi wagged his tail furiously, clearly just as happy to see her.
Tumblr media
Watching her embracing Jjangi, I felt a surge of emotion. It was as if all the yearnings I had kept buried for years resurfaced in an instant. She looked so natural, so at home, and I realized just how much I had missed her.
“It’s been a long time,” she said, while hugging Jjangi. Her eyes met mine, her voice made my heart fluttered.
Tumblr media
I could barely find my voice. “Hayoung… welcome home.”
As we sat down for dinner, our parents distributed the cutleries. Both families gathered around the table, the atmosphere filled with warmth and nostalgia. Midway through the meal, our parents began reminiscing about the past, laughing about our childhood antics. Suddenly, my mother mentioned, half-jokingly to me, "Do you remember once you said you're going to marry Hayoung?"
Hayoung's mother chimed in, "Ah! yes, yes! You even said it in front us! You two were so adorable together. It would be nice if that came true. Should we do it for real this time?"
The families laughed together, the sound filling the room with warmth. I laughed along, but a sense of panic stirred within me. Could they actually be serious? The thought of marrying Haying, is a dream I'd held for years, yet the talks about it seemed too sudden and overwhelming.
As if on cue, Hayoung's father added, "You know, it wouldn't be a bad idea if you two got married this summer. It’s the perfect opportunity since Hayoung is back for a while."
I glanced at Hayoung, worried that this sudden talk would burden her. She was still an idol, after all, with a demanding career. She didn't say anything, but I noticed her sneaking glances at me, trying to see my reaction.
Hayoung’s silence made me even more nervous, but she continued to steal secret looks at me, her expression was unreadable. The rest of the dinner continued with more light-hearted chatter, but the thought of our parents' suggestion lingered in the air, creating a mix of excitement and anxiety within me.
After dinner, Hayoung and her parents went home. As the night deepened, I found myself restless, looking up to ceiling of my room, replaying the events of the evening in my mind. I couldn't shake the memory of Hayoung's secretive glances and all the casual yet significant talk of marriage.
As I was closing my eyes, my phone buzzed. It was a message from Hayoung, accompanied by a selfie of her silly look.
Tumblr media
"Hey you, jigeum mwohae?" she texted.
I smiled at her familiar, confident approach. Despite the years apart, she seemed just as comfortable as she always had.
"Not much, just thinking about how crazy tonight was," I replied.
"Yeah, our parents sure know how to make things interesting haha," she responded with a laughing emoji. "All the nostalgic talks tonight reminds me of how we were in high school. I think I was kinda tomboyish and silly back then."
I chuckled, instantly transported back to those wild days. "Oh, you're 1000% right! You still remember you once cold punched the bullies into the freezing pond at school during early winter since they were trying to take our money? It was so chaotic they all were sent to hospital afterwards"
Tumblr media
Hayoung's laughter echoed through her texts. "Hahahahaha… someone had to keep things in order and interesting! And you were the one who got panicked and afraid that they might actually die from that."
"hahaha.. they looked so pathetic I thought they were really in danger. That's right, and without you probably they would still bully me until now" I said with a smile emote. "You always did whatever you think right to do."
We continued chatting, the conversation flowing as easily as it had years ago. It felt like no time had passed at all between us.
After a while, Hayoung sent another message. "Hey, are you free tomorrow? I was thinking of roaming around the neighborhood, kinda miss this place a lot, could you accompany me?"
My heart skipped a beat at the thought of spending time with her. "Of course, I'd love to. What time?"
"How about we meet at 10 AM by the old tree?"
"Sounds perfect. See you then."
As I put my phone down, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Tomorrow would be a revisit memories and perhaps the start of something new. With Hayoung back on the island, anything seemed possible.
The next day the sun rose with a soft, golden light filtering through the leaves, as if promising a perfect summer morning. I waited at the old big tree, anticipation stirring within me as I saw Hayoung approaching. She appeared from the path horizon, covered with beautiful white dress that seemed to shine in the morning sun. It was the type of dress I had always admired on her, the simplicity, yet elegance of it showing her natural beauty.
As she drew near, I couldn't help but smile. "You look amazing," I said, my voice genuine and warm.
A faint blush colored her cheeks as she smiled back. "Thank you," she replied, her eyes showed appreciation. "I thought you'd like it."
Her words sent a flutter through my heart, and for a moment, I struggled to find my composure. Hayoung had a way of effortlessly charming me, just as she always had.
The first place we ventured was into the forest, right behind our school, the air alive with the scent of pine and earth. There's nothing scary about the forest, we both knew everything about that place as if its our second home. As we searched for the flowers she loved, Hayoung's laughter echoed among the trees, filling me with a sense of joy and nostalgia. At one point, she suddenly handed me all the flowers we have gathered and turned to me with a playful grin.
Tumblr media
"Race you to that hill!" she exclaimed, pointing ahead.
I grinned, unable to resist her infectious energy. "You're on!" I replied, taking off after her.
We ran through the forest, our laughter mingling with the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds. The path opened up to a hill with a vast area of short grass, stretching out like a green carpet. The hill was quite high, offering a breathtaking overview of the entire island. The sea shimmered in the distance, and the rooftops of our small town were nestled among the trees below. Windmills scattered around, complimenting the whole look. The scenery was beautiful and romantic, a perfect backdrop for our day together.
Tumblr media
As we reached the clearing, Hayoung suddenly stumbled and fell onto the soft grass. I rushed to her side, concerned.
"Are you okay?" I asked, reaching out a hand to help her up.
Hayoung looked up at me with a playful smile and instead of taking my hand, she pulled me down beside her. "I'm fine, sit here with me" she said, laughing. "Come on, let's just lay here and enjoy the view."
Reluctantly, I lay down next to her, the cold grass contrast to the warm sun. We lay there side by side, gazing up at the clear blue sky and the beautiful scenery of the island spread out before us.
"This is perfect," Hayoung murmured, her voice soft and content. "I missed this place so much."
I turned my head to look at her, my heart almost bursted with affection. "Yeah, and it's the best with you here."
We lay in comfortable silence for a while, feeling in the beauty of the moment. Then, Hayoung broke the quiet, her tone sound thoughtful. "You know, about our parents brought up that whole marriage proposal thing last night."
I felt a brief anxiety but kept my voice steady. "Yeah, they did. It was a bit of a surprise."
Hayoung turned her head to face me, her eyes serious yet kind. "Do you remember when you proposed to me in front of our parents? We were just kids."
A smile tugged at my lips as the memory resurfaced. "How could I forget? I even prepared with a bouquet of flowers I gathered from the forest."
She laughed softly, the sound blending with the gentle rustle of the grass. "You were so earnest about it, too. I remember thinking it was the most romantic thing ever."
"Do you remember," I began, turning my head to look at her, "how you ran away up here after I proposed to you in front of your parents?"
Hayoung laughed, the sound like a sweet echo of our past. "of course, I do. I got shy and embarrassed. I thought running away to this hill would help me to calm down."
"Then I chased after you," I continued, smiling at the memory. "And when I found you here, I proposed again. You then asked me what I could offer if you said yes."
Hayoung's eyes sparkled with amusement and nostalgia. "Yes, and since you're just a kid, you said you don't have money but you'd always love me and stay by my side."
I nodded, "And I meant every word. But you didn't answer right away. You asked for some time to think, but never actually replied."
Hayoung's expression grew thoughtful. "I was so young and didn't know what to say back then. But now, even after years later, I have proof of how true your words were."
"Do you still fulfill your promises?" she asked softly, her eyes staring mine.
"I do," I replied, my voice steady with conviction. "I always kept them. I've always loved you and stayed loyal to you, even when you were in Seoul. Everyone in town knows how much you mean to me. They always ask about you, and I always eager to tell how well you're doing in Seoul, keep supporting you from here and waiting for you to come back home is the best I could do."
Hayoung's eyes suddenly glistened with unshed tears, and she nodded. "I know. People in town kept telling me about it before I saw you this morning. I didn't know whether to believe them until now."
She took a deep breath, her gaze intense, holding her tears. "Oppa, propose to me again," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. This was the first time she addressed me that way. "Right here, with the flowers in your hand."
My heart pounded as I stood up, gathering a handful of the delicate wildflowers we collected together in the forest. I knelt down in front of her, the flowers trembling slightly in my grasp.
"Hayoung," I began, my voice filled with love and sincerity, "I've loved you since we were kids, and that love has only grown stronger over the years. I promised to always be by your side, to cherish and support you in everything you do, I kept that promise in the past, even now, and I will always be in future. Will you accept my love?"
Tears finally streamed down Hayoung's face as she looked at me, her smile radiant and full of joy. "Yes," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "Yes, I accept your love".
At that moment, an overwhelming sense of relief and happiness washed over me. It was as if that heavy burden I had carried for years had been lifted, replaced by a warmth that spread through my entire being. My heart swelled with love, and I felt an unbreakable connection between us, stronger than anything I had ever known. All the years of waiting, hoping, and remaining loyal to her had led to this perfect moment. My eyes started to blurred up by the tears of my own as I realized that she truly felt the same way.
My hands trembled slightly as I gently touched her face, wiping away her tears with my thumbs. I leaned in, and our lips met in a soft, tender kiss, filled with all the emotions we had kept inside for so long. It was gentle at first, an explorative kiss, but then it deepened, becoming more passionate as years of longing and love pouring out from our deepest heart. I felt Hayoung's hands slide up to my shoulders, her touch warm and reassuring.
The whole world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of us in that moment. The kiss expressed all our promises, dreams, and a future we both wanted to build together. As we finally pulled back, breathless and with our foreheads resting against each other, the sun started to set behind us, casting a golden glow over the island and sealing our love in the beauty of that perfect summer evening.
"This better than I imagined," Hayoung whispered, her eyes looked deeply to me, a bright smile complimented her lips.
Tumblr media
As the sun set behind us, Hayoung and I stood up, hand in hand, ready to head back to her house. The path down the hill was still clear, and we walked slowly, savoring every second of the moment. Our fingers interlaced, and I felt a deep sense of contentment and belonging.
As we made our way through the neighborhood, people began to notice us. Familiar faces turned toward us, and I saw smiles spreading across them. The older couples, who had known us since we were kids, nodded approvingly. The younger ones whispered excitedly to each other. It was as if the entire neighborhood had been waiting for this moment as much as we had.
One elderly lady, Mrs. Park, who used to be our homeroom teacher, clapped her hands together slowly and beamed at us. "It's about time, you two," she called out, raising her thumb up, giving approvals.
Hayoung and I exchanged a shy glance, both of us blushing slightly. Despite the embarrassment, we couldn't help but smile back at everyone. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and affection, making our happiness even felt real.
Hayoung giggled softly and squeezed my hand. "It's nice to see everyone so happy for us," she said, her voice filled with delight.
I nodded, feeling my heart filled with pride and love. "Yeah, it really is."
As we arrived at Hayoung's house, we noticed the absence of her parents' car in the driveway. The house was quiet and dark, just a single light on the porch. We exchanged a glance, realizing we were alone for the first time under the roof as a couple.
"Looks like my parents aren't home yet," Hayoung said, her voice tinged with a mixture of surprise and slight awkwardness.
"Yeah, I guess it's just us," I replied, feeling a tiny bit of nervousness.
We stepped inside, the familiar warmth of her home surrounding us. Hayoung closed the door behind us, and we sat down in the dining room for a moment, unsure of what to do next. The silence felt heavier than usual, filled with the unspoken tension.
Tumblr media
"Um, do you want something to drink?" Hayoung offered, breaking the silence.
"S-Sure," I said, grateful for the distraction.
She walked into the kitchen, and I followed her, trying to act natural. As she poured us both some water, I couldn't help but notice how different everything felt. The playful ease we had shared all day seemed to have been replaced by a newfound shyness.
We sipped our water in silence, standing in the kitchen. I glanced at the clock and then back at Hayoung. "I should probably get going," I said, not wanting to think something inappropriate towards her.
Hayoung's face fell slightly, but she quickly masked it with a smile. "Oh, um, it would be nice if you at least stay for dinner. I mean, if you want to."
Her invitation made my heart race, but the nervousness got the better of me. "I.. Maybe another time?"
She nodded, but I could see the disappointment in her eyes. "Yeah, sure. Another time."
I felt a pang of regret as I left her house, the door closing softly behind me after we waved a good bye. As I walked down the path towards home, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was making a mistake. Yet, just a few minutes later, my phone buzzed with a message from Hayoung and a selfie of her.
"Oppa, it's already late at night and I think you must be hungry, I don't want you to feel hungry so…I decided that I'll be your dinner tonight.. Please come back? 😊"
Her message, along with her nude selfie made me stop in my tracks. I took a deep breath, my heart pounding hard as I turned around and ran my way back to her house quickly.
Tumblr media
When I knocked on the door, Hayoung opened it almost immediately, she was wearing nothing but a white apron. A raccoon-like smile was on her face. "Changed your mind, Oppa?" she asked, her eyes sparkling.
"Yeah," I said, smiling back. "I think I'm just too hungry of you tonight."
As I said that, I moved towards her and started kissing her aggresively. I was eating her lips as if they're tuna sushi, making a big smooch sound for every breath, I gently bit her lips and suck them hard. Hayoung seemed to be affected by the whole atmosphere as she also started biting my tongue and pulled them inside her mouth. Our breath getting heavier and as our body curled in close together, I could see the lower part of her apron is now a bit wet from her love juice.
"Let's move to your room?", I asked, almost a whisper to her ear. "Y-yes, I think we should", Hanyang answered with an uncontrollable breath. She gripped my fingers softly, our fingers intertwined together in the warmth of the whole atmosphere and with that, Hanyang guided me to her room. Even though we had known each other for very long time, this would be my first time I got into her bed room. My heart's pounding harder by all the anticipations.
Hayoung opened the door, and we stepped inside, taking in the space. Her room was cozy and inviting, with a soft white paint on the walls and soft warm lights strung along walls. Photos and posters filled the walls, a mix of memories from her childhood and her journey as an idol. A bookshelf filled with books lined at one wall, and a comfy bed with a heap of pillows sat in the center.
Tumblr media
Hayoung's smile widened, and she squeezed my hands gently. "I'm so happy now. It feels like everything is so perfect since ever we met again", She shyly said.
She turned her back to me, lifting her hair to reveal the delicate part of her nape. "Oppa," Hayoung said, breaking the silence. "Would you take off this apron for me?." while looking back at me with the soft look. I gulped, frozen for seconds while looking at her bare back and ass cheeks for the first time. I moved closer, my fingers trembling slightly as I untie the apron slowly from her back. The proximity was both thrilling and nerve-wracking, and I could feel the warmth radiating from her.
I couldn't stop myself from kissing her nape. Hayoung slightly raised her shoulder as she felt ticklish from the kiss. Her body smelled really nice, there's slight hint of flower, light perfume and… a hint of close to baby powder scent. My right hand started to travel to her breast, feeling them from behind.. I found it really sexy, my hand groped while my fingers started to pinch and teasing her nips. Hayoung didn't say anything, but she occasionally twitched and let out small moans and I found them so cute.
"Y-yaa.. why am I the one who's naked here?" she lamented while her hands started to get into my pants. "Eh?", she said half surprised, "Has it always been this big?". My little ego felt a slight jolt of happiness as she found my dick as what she favored. "No, it's not always that big, it got that big probably because of you?", I jokingly teased her. She let out a bright smile, she looked so cute yet sexy with those big breasts of her.
Hayoung then squatted down and started to remove my jeans, leaving me with just my shirt and boxer. She began stroking gently from the outer layer of my boxer, I got excited and some pre-cum started to wet my boxer and it leaked a bit to the surface. "Oh? What's this?", Hayoung wondering. "I-it's my love juice, got some out because I love you that much", I joked. Hayoung couldn't hold her laugh hearing my reply, she found it romantic yet naughty. She then started to smell them, putting her nose closer to the tip of my dick and she licked it slowly. She seemed to be enjoying the taste as she tried to put it inside her mouth. She bit my boxer and pulled them down, leaving my dick to be free, exposing it to the air.
She then looked closely to my erected dick with so much curiosity and that showed clearly from her racoon-like eyes. This must be something new to her as she's always tried to pretend like she doesn't like erotic stuffs. "They look so stiff, does it hurt? Should I slowly lick it?", she asked while looking at me to the eye. "No, not yet, you know right? Ladies first? Let me lick yours first". Hanyang face got redder. I pulled her hand gently and rested her on her bed. I spread wide her legs up to the air but she got shy so she tried to hide her pussy with both of her hands. Her eyes locked onto mine, she wanted to do it but all these new naughty things we did all of sudden made her scared a bit.
"It's okay, Hanyang, I'll do it gently, you trust me?", I said to calm her down. She nodded and let go of her hands from her pussy. I could see her pussy clearly as blue sky now. diamond shaped pubic hair, small labia and distinct pink colour inside her complimented the view of the most beautiful pussy I've ever seen in my life. Her pussy was wet and kept oozing some transparent, sticky liquid. I kissed her clits and started to suck them gently. I tried to put my finger into her hole but found out how short it was due to her hymen.
Realizing this, I just put my forefinger halfway, and bent them up, trying to rub the g-spot gently, building up the tense while kept sucking her clit. She began biting her finger, trying to hold her voice out, she kept looking at me with the face filled with ecstasy. She suddenly grabbed my hair and pushed it harder into her pussy as her body arching up, I grabbed her ass cheeks with my left hand to hold them up. Not long after, she finally let out big moan as her body twitched hard. I immediately knew she just come.
It's time to stick it in. I stood up and started to position myself into missionary to put my dick inside her. "Are we really doing this?", I asked her wondering if she's ready of what's going to happen next. She didn't say anything but a nod, signaling that she's ready to do it. I gently put my dick inside her, it was really tight and my dick tip reached her hymen. I slowly pushed them harder, and finally, it broke. Hanyang face mirrored a slight pain she felt as she grabbed my shoulder with her finger nails and scratched my back. It felt hurt but as she went the same thing, I didn't even dare to complain. A trail of blood started to stream down from her pussy and my dick was now completely inside her yet I didn't dare to move. I lowered my shoulder and we're now facing each other closely. "Are you okay?", I asked trying make sure that she's not hurting. "I-I am okay, just don't move yet", she answered.
With my hard rock dick still inside her, I felt the intimacy and comfort filled in the room. I could see every detail of Hayoung's face, the curve of her thick lips, the innocence in her eyes, the red blush on her cheeks. Everything looked so perfect the way it was.
"Do you remember the last time we were this close?" she asked, her voice a gentle whisper.
My eyes looked up, trying to remember if such thing existed. "Yeah, probably when we used to study together. We would sit together at my desk, facing each other as close as this".
She chuckled softly. "And you always found a way to distract us from studying."
"Wasn't that my job?" I teased. "To make sure you took breaks and enjoyed life a little?"
"Well, you were very good at it," she admitted, her eyes smiled. "And you still are. I don't even feel in pain anymore." I reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face, my fingers comfortably placed on her cheek.
"Hayoung," I said softly. "Should I begin to move?", confirming again that she didn't feel hurt. "Yes", she answered. With that, I began to move gently, ensuring that every move conveyed my true feelings to her, they weren't just lust, but sense of love, care, loyalty and responsibility.
Hanyang started to let out small moans, her expression started to show that she's enjoying it. "Oppa, It started to feel good, you can move faster now". I quickened my pace, creating slapping sound that echoed around the room. My eyes kept locked on her face, saving every memory of her expression in this intimate moment.
Tumblr media
I moved gradually faster, the pace was blurring my sanity, I groped her breasts hard and Hayoung let out a loud moan. We kissed and ate out each other while retaining our hips pace. "Hanyang, I think I'm going to cum, let me do it outside", I declared with heavy breath as I could no longer hold it. "No, its okay, cum inside me, fill me with everything you've got. It's safe day, don't worry about it", she replied with uncontrollable voice.
She then suddenly folded her legs inwards, locking me in place, ensuring that I didn't pull out, pushing me even deeper that within seconds, I finally came. "Hanyangg!! I'm comingg!!", I shouted hard, releasing as much semen into her womb. Although I knew it's her safe day, deep inside I slightly hoped that she got pregnant.
Hayoung felt the burst of my semen inside her stomach. She slightly peeked down, my semen and the blood from her hymen seemed to mixed up, spilling out from her pussy. She then looked into my eyes and slightly nodded, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "We finally did it."
"I love you, Hanyang" I whispered, the words coming straight from my heart.
"I love you too," she replied, her voice filled with sincerity and warmth. "More than words can express."
Our quiet, intimate moment was interrupted by the growl of our stomachs. We looked at each other and we both laughed, realizing we had skipped dinner in all the excitement.
"It's almost 10 PM," I said, glancing at the clock. "We should probably eat something."
Hayoung nodded, her eyes still teary. "Are you going to cook? I'm starving, but I could use a bath after today."
"Sure, I'll cook something up," I replied, feeling a bit more confident now. "You can go relax."
She gave me a grateful smile before heading to the bathroom. I made my way out of her room to the kitchen, determined to make something special for her. The sound of the rain tapping against the windows provided a soothing white noise as I worked.
Knowing how much Hayoung loved seafood, I decided to make a simple yet comforting dish, jjukkumi bokkeum (spicy stir-fried baby octopus) with a side of rice and some banchan (Korean side dishes). The aroma of spicy octopus, garlic, and sesame oil filled the kitchen, mingling with the sound of the rain. Once everything was ready, I plated the food and carefully carried it back to Hayoung's room.
When I arrived, Hayoung was just stepping out of the bathroom, wrapped in a fluffy towel. Her hair was damp, and she looked refreshed and beautiful. She smiled when she saw me with the food.
"That smells amazing," she said, her eyes lighting up.
"Well, I hope it tastes as good as it smells," I replied with a grin, setting the plates on her bedside table.
She changed into a comfortable dress and joined me on the bed. The rain continued to fall heavier outside, creating a cozy atmosphere. We ate together, exchanging smiles and gentle touches. At one point, I reached out and took a piece of chili on her cheeks, while brushing a strand of wet hair from her face.
"This is delicious!," Hayoung said. "I missed home cooked food like this."
"I'm glad you like it," I said, feeling a sense of pride.
As we finished our meal, the rain intensified, drumming steadily against the roof. It was clear that Hayoung's parents wouldn't be able to make it back home tonight, and I realized that I would probably be staying here too.
"Looks like I'm not going anywhere," I said, glancing at the rain-soaked window.
Hayoung looked at me with a shy smile. "I don't mind. In fact, I'd like it if you stayed."
I stood up, stretching a bit. "I should probably take a bath too," I said, feeling a bit self-conscious.
Hayoung shook her head, her smile mischievous. "No? You don't need though?," she said, her eyes were playful. "You always smell good."
I chuckled, feeling my cheeks warm. "My sweat smells good? Really? Well, okay, If you say so."
"I do," she insisted, tugging me back onto the bed. "Come, stay here with me in bed."
We settled back on the bed, the remnants of our meal pushed aside. The room felt even cozier with the sound of the rain enveloping us. I took her hand, and we lay back down, side by side, facing each other.
"Thank you for dinner," she whispered, her eyes locked onto mine, her smile brightened.
"And thank you for being here," I replied, squeezing her hand gently.
"You know," she said softly, "this feels like a dream. Like we're really living together, like husband and wife."
I smiled, my heart felt the warmth. "It does, doesn't it? I can't wait for the day I become your real husband."
She blushed, her eyes shining with happiness. "Me too. I've always imagined what it would be like to come home to you, to spend every evening like this."
Hayoung shifted closer, her head resting against my shoulder. "I love you," she whispered, her voice filled with honesty.
"I love you too," I replied, feeling a deep sense of contentment. I put my hand around her shoulder, pulling her closer under the warm blanket we shared. So many things had happened today, and every single moment felt like a dream. As I thought about it all, I realized Hayoung had already fallen asleep on my shoulder. We both fell asleep in each other's embrace, closing the never forgotten day in our whole life with each other's warmth.
Morning arrived, and I was gently woken by Hayoung’s soft voice. "Oppa, wake up," she whispered, her hand gently shaking my shoulder.
I opened my eyes, blinking away the remnants of sleep, and found myself staring into her smiling face. It was the most beautiful sight I had ever seen, and I felt relieved. This wasn’t a dream. It was real, and she was here with me.
Tumblr media
“Good morning,” I said, my voice husky from sleep.
“Good morning,” she replied, her smile widening.
As we prepared to leave the room, Hayoung grabbed my arm, interlocking her arm with mine, making me feel like we were a real husband and wife sharing our first morning together. It was a simple gesture, but it filled me with warmth and happiness.
However, as we opened the door, we were greeted by the playful grins of both Hayoung’s parents and mine. They stood there, clearly amused, and it was clear evidence that they knew exactly what happened last night.
“Good morning, lovebirds!” Hayoung’s father said with a chuckle.
My mother added, “Hayoung-ah, due to the heavy rain last night, your parents stayed over at our house last night. When they checked the CCTV in the dining room from their phone, they saw you two. It was lovely to see how happy you both were. I bet both of you had the most amazing night yesterday”. She said while teasing us.
Both Hayoung and I blushed, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement. We were promptly led to the dining room where breakfast was already prepared by our parents.
As we settled down for breakfast, the teasing didn’t stop. “So,” Hayoung’s mother began, her eyes filled with mischief, “When are you two planning to get married?”
I nearly choked on my food, caught off guard by the directness of the question. I glanced at Hayoung, who met my eyes with a calm, reassuring smile.
“Well,” I began hesitantly, “We havent…”
Hayoung suddenly squeezed my thigh under the table. I looked at her in surprise, and she gave me a mischievous grin, nodding ever so subtly as if urging me to say the otherwise. It was a clear signal to me, a signal that said she was ready for us to make this decision together.
Taking a deep breath to steady my nerves, I continued, “We’ve decided to get engaged this summer,” I said, my voice steadier now.
Hearing this, our parents expressed their happiness and approvals. “Now that’s the news I want to hear!” my father exclaimed.
“We’re so happy for you both,” Hayoung’s mother added. “It’s going to be a perfect summer this year.”
.... I always loved Summer season. The season with a gentle warmth that seemed to embrace our island, our home. And now, it was the perfect season for our engagement party, a celebration in the eventful evening that brought together not just our families and friends, but the entire community that had watched us grow up together.
The venue was decorated with vibrant colors of summer, with strings of fairy lights twinkling overhead and tables filled with bouquets of flowers. A large banner proclaimed, "Congratulations Hayoung & Y/N!" in cheerful letters, celebrating the culmination of our long journey from childhood friends to soon-to-be official husband and wife.
During the party, the fromis_9 members joined in the celebrations wholeheartedly, mingling with guests, enjoying the food, and even participating in some of the traditional dances performed to celebrate the engagement. Their presence added the excitement and glamour to the event, turning it into a memorable occasion not just for Hayoung and me, but for everyone who attended.
The engagement ceremony itself was heartfelt and meaningful. Hayoung looked radiant in a traditional Korean hanbok, her smile lighting up as she stood beside me, wearing an outfit that felt like a perfect fit for the occasion. We exchanged rings, symbols of our commitment and love, amidst applause and happy tears from our loved ones.
Tumblr media
During the event, there was a slideshow playing on a large screen, showcasing photos of us growing up together. From playful days in kindergarten to high school, the slideshow captured our journey through the years. It was a touching reminder of how far we had come and the unwavering support we had received from our families and community.
Among the guests, including friends and business partners from Seoul, where I would soon join Hayoung. It was decided that I would work at my parents' business branch there, ensuring that Seoul branch blooms into a bigger business.
As the evening deepens, Hayoung and I found a quiet moment together under the sky filled with stars. We looked around at the warm gathering of our friends and family, feeling overwhelmed with gratitude and love. This summer, which had started with a simple reunion, had become a season of a long awaited love fulfilled and new promises made.
Holding each other's hand gently, we knew that our journey together was just beginning, filled with endless possibilities and the unwavering support of those who had watched us grow from childhood friends to partners in both love and life, until death do us apart. -End.

Impromptu Sleepover
Tumblr media
Happy Valentine, my friends. For the little of you who already have a special someone, show them how much you love them! For the brave ones who have yet to make a confession, do it! Be prepared for rejection but don’t fear it: you miss all the shots you don’t take.
As for all the others who are lonely in the pink and red holiday, we’re in this together: here’s a little story to cheer you up. I hope you’ll enjoy.
Signed,  Eros
-
Three hours and sixteen minutes.
That’s how long you’ve been stealing glances back and forth between two lovers and your dream girl, in this small apartment that smells faintly like cherry and cookies and Hayoung’s soft, delicious scent. And that’s how long you two have been silent. Wholeheartedly silent.
You were sitting beside your best friend as you watched her softly lit face by the movie playing in the background. A cinema wasn’t necessary when you already had the best seat, shoulder-to-shoulder with Hayoung. If you were looking at her every ten minutes, Hayoung was every eight, casually meeting your eyes at times and turning around to the screen like it was just by chance, flustered.
You did this a lot of times before but why was your heart beating so fast? You were sure she didn’t notice how your cheeks flushed whenever her hands brushed against yours, whenever your shoulders touched, whenever your legs met, and whenever her star eyes lit up your dark pupils.
Actually, maybe she noticed—you swear you saw her grin when you jolted up from embarrassment at her face being too close to yours.
“I need to get some water,” you said and run to the kitchen.
Hayoung lets herself fall on the warm spot you left on the couch and kept following the movie.
You bet she isn’t even thinking about it.
You bet she doesn’t care.
You bet you were the only one in distress, nervously fiddling with your fingers, sulking to the vintage notes of  “The Portrait” while she’s excitedly rooting for the two lovebirds to kiss, completely entranced.
What do girls even think about all the time?
What does she think about?
Food? Puppies? Songs?
Does Hayoung even fall in love? Or was it just the guy falling for her?
She might not have realized it, but maybe some other boy quietly took a liking to her and maybe, in the smallest chance, microscopic probability, unlikeliest percentage, she also—sort of—maybe liked him?
You shiver, wondering who that might have been. Wondering whether the crush she might not even have would be extraordinarily lucky or—
“It’s so good, isn't it?”
You turn so fast, you feel a muscle pull. “What?”
“I can't believe you've never watched this movie before,” she says.
“Oh, the movie you mean.”
You massage your neck. She stares at you with glittering eyes.
“It's such a classic, I just... Well, I'm glad you decided to watch it with me, even though, you know, you didn't have much of a choice. It's all good, at least you can say that you've watched it now and people won't laugh at you.”
“Hey.”
“I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding.”
You think she’s biting the inside of her cheek to avoid bursting out laughing.
“I don't think I've had a Saturday night as lovely as this in so long. I know we went out last weekend but that was different, you know.”
“The aquarium was really fascinating,” you nod. “The dolphin show was really cool.”
“Yeah, I had so much fun. I did have a great time but it wasn't lovely, you know.”
“It’s because you had to leave your home right?” You shake your head in disappointment. “And now because you’re hibernated in your house, you’re having so much more fun.”
“Yes, I don't like going out much. Yes, I'd much rather stay inside and watch movies.”
“That makes you sob.”
“Yeah, movies that make me cry. The ones that make you feel like they're the best ones.”
You snort. “Just because it’s a little sad?”
“I just think Titanic has got such a bad reputation and it's gone down as like a cheesy love story but when you actually sit down and watch it, I mean, how can you not become invested in their story? Yeah, it's so sweet and it's based on a historical story.” You think about the situation you’re in. It’s not a date. But if it were—which it isn’t—it would be the best date of your life.
Of course, it wasn’t. But. If it were. Even when, you must admit, it almost feels like one. You had to remind yourself you were just hanging out… as friends.
“It was interesting,” you say as if you remembered even a single moment from the movie.
“Yeah, no it is, it's super interesting. And like they had an actual team that had to go and do all the diving too, you know, get all the shipwreck footage and all that kind of stuff.” Hayoung puckers her lips. “Oh yeah, and did you know that Rose was based on a real passenger from the Titanic?”
“What a geek.”
“How can you say that that's geeky? It's like general knowledge I'm sure it is. Oh my gosh, you're just being salty because you lost the bet that you wouldn’t enjoy it.” Hayoung puffs her cheeks and furrows her eyebrows in such a way that reminds you of a little bear. You don’t have the force to disagree with her.
“You are? Oh, you're such a geek.” She rolls her eyes.
“It's so nice and warm. I can hear the radiators coming on again. It's gonna be like boiling in here. Let me just stretch my legs.” Hayoung strokes her feet to collect some heat and pushes her legs onto the blankets sitting on your lap, not caring if you’d take offense at her pink rabbit-covered socks.
“Get off me.”
Hayoung whines. “Come on, we've been in the same position for like, I don't even know how long or what time is it?”
You look at the clock on the wall. “It’s 2 am.”
“It's not 2 am.” She noticed the clock. “It is. How did it get so late?”
“Maybe because the movie was so damn long.”
“Oh yeah, I guess it was a three-hour movie.”
“I should go home now,” you say. She stretches and her legs take more of your space but both of you then noticed the noise from outside. You look out the window and see the whole sky coming down in a thunderstorm. You thought Zeus was playing with you, after you had to suffer and try not to go insane for three hours. It was far from a blessing.
“Wow, oh my gosh, look at the rain,” Hayoung said, standing up. “Wow, that is so heavy.”
“No big deal, I can walk home.”
“Oh, there's no way I can let you walk home in this.”
“It’s fine.”
“No, no way.”
“It won’t kill me.”
“No, just stay. Please. Please, just stay. Please, are you gonna make me beg you?” Hayoung whines in an adorable way. “Please don't make me beg. Oh, do you know what, I'm not even gonna ask you anymore? I'm just gonna block the door if you try to leave.” And then she got mad, pinching her eyes like how red pandas furrow their fur.
“Oh, you think you could?”
“I could take you on. I could. I'm so much stronger than I look, thank you very much.”
“Even though you’re this small?”
“Yes, even though I'm that short,” she says. “I can't say that forever, you know. But for real, you are staying and that is that. Don't even try and argue with me, I am being completely serious right now. I am not letting you walk home in the rain, in the cold, really late at night. I'm not doing it.”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course I'm sure, don't be silly. What kind of friend would I be if I let you walk out in that rain? If you go out, you are going to catch a cold.”
Suddenly her eyes spark again and she speaks furiously without catching a single breath. “Oh my gosh, you know what this is gonna be. I think this is gonna be like a sleepover. Yeah, a sleepover? Wow, I haven't had one of these since I was like maybe eight, or nine? I can't even remember what you do at a sleepover.”
“Well, we can either watch another movie, but I’m tired, or just talk there.”
“Okay right I'm gonna go put my jammers on and I'll grab you some extra blankets as well.” Hayoung jumped out off the couch in excitement, buzzing and jumping around like a little kid. “Okay. This is so crazy I can't believe you are actually stopping over.”
“We get to talk about the sleep things that you do at sleepovers. I can't remember but, um, what do you think? Oh, truth dare. Or we could talk about gossip. I'm not really a gossip person but we could gossip about school.”
“Nothing happens in my college. It’s just a bunch of nerds like me studying and… studying.”
“Oh, well you’ll find something or I’ll just talk the whole time.” Hayoung looked around to think and hummed. “Would that even work? Oh yeah, that would be a no.”
Your friend signaled you to come to her and you walked to her bedroom. It was just like how you expected it to be—very feminine, with plushies and small decorations. There was also pretty stationary, the kind girls use, on the desk together with all her notebooks. “
Okay. Here's your blanket,” she says, throwing it to your face. “And you can have this pillow. It's the comfiest one that I've got. I'm sure you can have it of course. You are my guest.”
“So I sleep on the couch…?”
“Oh well, I thought you could just sleep here if you wanted to. Well, it's really chilly downstairs so like you're free on the sofa if you sleep there and there's no way I'm gonna let you sleep on the floor,” Hayoung says not paying much attention to you because she was busy taking everything out of her closet. Things that she didn’t see for the past three years and things that sat there since she bought them. She turned around, “Well would you let me sleep on the floor if you had a sleepover at yours?”
“Yeah.”
“Oh god.” Hayoung pouted. “You are just so mean to me.” Then she flopped on the bed, patting the place beside her. “Just get in here silly. Well, this is the bed that I've been bragging about.”
“Wow, it’s soft,” you say, sitting on the bed and bouncing a few times to test the firmness of the mattress. The way you two looked next to each other was almost comical. Your friend was there in a cute pajamas while you had black jeans and an old uni hoodie.
“Yeah? Oh, it's just so comfy. So comfy. It is warm. You're gonna warm up so quickly I promise. Yeah especially with all these extra blankets and pillows as well. Body heat. Do you need any extra pillows or are you sure you don't want some socks?”
“No, I’m good.”
“Okay. Okay. I'm just gonna get comfy then. Hmm, that's so good.” Hayoung lays with her chin on the pillow, it was a big fat one, and she looked like a cat rolling on a ball. When she closed her eyes and relaxed, her face naturally came down to look like gudetama. She was calm and looking at her calmed you.
“Is that how you sleep?” you ask. “Won’t you get back pain?”
“Yes, I really sleep like this. You don't snore too loud do you?”
“No, I don’t,” you hum. Hayoung seemed a little slow. Her energy was starting to leave her body.
“I'm so sleepy. Tell me something.”
“I’m really happy I can spend time with you.”
Hayoung giggles with happiness. “I'm really glad I get to spend some more time with you too. Even though we're going to be asleep for most of it. But you know, I'm really glad that you're staying tonight.”
“I really appreciate you being in my life,” you admit. “I never felt this way with any other friend before and I'm at a point where I wouldn't want to spend time with anyone else. I'm not bothered about spending time with anyone else.”
The silence lingers for a moment. The two of you expressed your feelings clearly but now, there was something on your chest that you couldn’t ignore. You were just waiting for who would say it first. And it was her.
“You want to know something really silly.” Hayoung forces her face into a smile. Her heart was doing something weird in her chest. Beating a little too quickly. “Maybe I shouldn't say it. Okay, well I'm gonna get close so I can whisper it. Because then maybe you won't hear it. Um, okay. Well, I get so jealous when I know that you've been spending time with someone else.”
When you say embarrassing things, you only realize them after they come out of your mouth. “Did you hear that?” Hayoung blurted out. “Yes,” you said, and Hayoung felt like she was about to disintegrate into a puddle of sand. She wanted you to take it back, “No, what?” She wanted you to simply rewind as if nothing happened but it was too late now.
“I don't mean that in a weird way,” she quickly corrected herself. “That came out weird.”
You nodded, this time slowly. Trying to understand what she was talking about.
“It’s okay.” You offered her a reassuring smile but she couldn’t possibly look at you. Not a second longer.
“I just mean... I mean, I'm so happy that you've been meeting other girls,” she murmured, feeling herself sinking deeper into the bed quicksand. “I really, I love to hear that you're so excited and you're happy and I'm so happy for you. But a part of me just hates it. I'm sorry. Oh, so stupid. You're just amazing. You are, you are.”
You knew you were any of those things. Not by a long shot. But you think that your sweet friend only knows how to say the best of you and not anything else.
“You have this way that you look at me sometimes and it just makes you so fuzzy inside.” Hayoung is embarrassed. She rolls herself into a small ball under the blankets to protect herself, but can’t stop speaking, it was too late now.
“Like, I can feel how much you care about me just from the way that you smile at me. It makes me melt. It makes me feel so special.” She wets her lips. “I don't know if you feel it too, but... Ever since we met, I just, I feel like I already know you. I feel like I already did know you. And every new thing that I learn about you just... I feel like I already knew it. And that, um, as you say, I just remember it.”
You can’t believe what she’s saying. You can’t believe what you’re hearing. A part of your brain hopes that it goes where you’d like it to go but you can’t believe Hayoung was that person.
“This isn't making sense,” she laughs awkwardly. “It's just so strange. And if I'm being honest, I'm not really sure what this feeling is. Like, this feeling which is being connected.”
“Um, I know that I'm saying all this…” She looks at you, serious and earnest like she rarely does but you know she had every intention to be so. “I don't want anything to change between us. Like, not ever. I would never want that to happen because I can't imagine not having you in my life.”
Something surges into her as she lets these words come out of her. Something painful and delightful and confusing. Something breathtaking, rich, and frightening. Not a fully formed feeling, but an early draft of it. She wants to get a grasp of its taste before it’s gone. She reaches out, letting her words flow out.
“...which is why I'm so nervous right now, I think, but it just feels so right to say what I'm feeling. I always wonder how things could be different.” Hayoung’s skin is even redder than usual now that you notice, and she retreats farther into her little blanket nest. “And I keep having dreams about me and you. Dreams were more than this. And we're just so incomparably happy and I just can't help but wonder if it means what I feel it means, whether it means…”
She glances at you. Your face is a blank void. Not because you were unconscious but because you were sweating balls and didn’t know what to do.
“No, I don't know. I don't know if you're asleep yet. And I'm 99% sure I'm dreaming anyway, otherwise, I wouldn't be saying any of this,” she admits. Her voice quiets down to only a whisper. “So guess what I'm trying to say is that I love you.”
“I love you,” she says again, to make sure she did. “Being with you is just so special and you are so wonderful. The way that you take the time to be joking if I'm okay. The way that you're just so in tune with who I am. The way it takes my breath away every time you say my name. I love the way that you make me feel. So many times I've just sat quietly trying to keep myself together when all I want to do is hold you.”
Hayoung hugs the pillow in front of her, tight enough to make her contain herself.
“Am I dreaming? Are we dreaming? This has got to be a dream. It's got to be.”
You were holding back until now but you couldn’t anymore and you smile. And she smiles. The smiles linger, warm, and honest, and you hear her speak again, in her soft smooth tone.
“I feel so peaceful and complete right now. I'm so glad I even my eyes and because you've got the cutest smile on your face. I can't believe I just told you all that. And you know if you don't feel the same, I completely, completely understand, you know.”
“But I do…” Your throat works miraculously. “I love you too.”
“Oh, you do. Oh, really? Wow, um, wow. And now I don't know what to say.” Hayoung makes room for you, and with a few tentative lumbering steps, you’re both under the same blanket. You feel small around her, although she’s obviously shorter than you. What made you so vulnerable? You didn’t know. She looks around, playing with her hair.
“Oh, wow. Um, um, um, can I, can I kiss you?” she asks. She holds her breath as she waits for you to speak. She’s so nervous—she keeps swallowing, and it sounds loud to her ears. Even her breathing sounds loud, even her heartbeat. “Is that okay?”
Your pupils are dilated looking at her so hard. You’re staring at her like you’ve never seen Hayoung before.
Her heart is pounding like a million trillion beats a minute as she scoots closer to you. She raises her head up and presses her lips against yours, and feels your jolt of surprise. And then you’re kissing her back, open-mouthed, soft-lipped, and at first, she’s nervous, but then you put your hand on the back of her head, and stroke her hair in a reassuring way, and she’s not so nervous anymore. It’s a good thing that she’s laying down on the bed because she is weak in the knees.
“This is just so perfect,” she says as soon as she lets you go.
“It really is,” you admit.
“I'm lying in my bed with you and I told you how I feel and you haven't run up screaming. Oh, my gosh, I never want to leave. This is the best feeling ever. I, I love you. I love you.”
“I love you too Hayoung, I’ve been holding it back for I don’t know so long but now I can say it as honestly as I can,” you say back. And she smiles.
“You are just incredible and I've always secretly felt just so lucky that you want to spend your time with me and that you care about me. It's just so, so wonderful. You are the best. And I love you. I love you.
It just feels so nice to say. Well, I hope you have really sweet dreams. I don't need to dream anymore.” Hayoung quickly pecks you another time. Just for good measure.
“Good night. I love you.”

A/N 1: Hello Orenjideul! It has been like almost 3 months since I last posted a fic and now here I am! Ahaha, midterms has been a pain in the butt but gladly, it's now done and I'll go back to serving some fluff fics for y'all! Hope you enjoy this one and stay safe everyone!
Tumblr media
—---------------------------------------------------
This day never could have been perfect as the velvety-red-orange-like skies blooming within the reach your eyes can see—it feels like a dream seeing them; the ebullient sounds of people around the amusement park serves as the cherry on top. You never felt euphoric in your whole life as there’s so much serotonin running throughout your body and it can’t be helped as you’re with the sunshine of your darkest days, the happiness that rivaled your depressing days—the love of your life.
It has been a year since you’ve met her in a milk tea shop and you’ve never been grateful in your whole life after meeting a girl like her. It was a “love at first sight” moment as both of your hearts felt magnetic to each other. Both of you went out as you became friends with her as time went by; the connection upped an ante as the two of you are now in a romantic relationship. Now with your first anniversary with her, you’re making this day special as you wanted to make her feel the ultimate delight that she has never experienced before.
—--------------------------
“Yah Yeonie! Come here! I want to show you something!”
Your cheerful tone sends excitement down Seoyeon’s spine as a faint smile paints her face, making you feel soft to her once again.
“What is it?”
“Can we ride at that roller coaster there? It looks fun! And, besides, I’m sure you will enjoy it, Yeonie.”
“Ugh, do I look like I enjoy riding in a roller-coaster?”
“Yeah, why?”
“Shut it! You know I don’t like riding with these kinds of stuff especially, that HIGH!”
She points her index finger at the tall loop at the roller coaster which made you laugh at her being scared and worried about what could happen next.
“Hey, hey Yeon, relax, you're with me, so you'll be safe. Besides, it's not like we're doing this everyday! Come on, please?”
You gave her a reassuring smile between the saccharine tone of yours, hoping that she agrees, even just this once.
“Uhh, fine…”
Your arms gesture happily as victory is earned as she agrees on what you want. The day is still long as the sun is still above the horizon, knowing that there’s still time for the both of you to bond with each other.
You hold her wrists gently, dragging her as the both of you rush towards where the roller coaster is located.
“What’s with the rush?”
“So, we get on the line fast! Don’t you want it? We’ll finish faster too!”
“More like, killing me faster…”
A chuckle escapes your lips about the joke that she said as a faint smile curves onto her lips, knowing that making you laugh is always a memory of hers and both of you know that no one’s offended, which makes this a wholesome moment.
“Yuh! I don’t mean it like that, anyways, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!”
“Whatever…”
The both of you fall in line as the both of you watch the coaster looping in a fast succession, making you in awe as her face is in fear. You see it and immediately begin caressing her hair in a playful manner, which earns a startle from her. You’re not usually like this as she knows how much you like teasing her playfully and not really showing affection towards actions. She’s not complaining as she feels comfortable in your arms, a smile curving her lips as response from your affection.
“You’ll be safe in my arms, okay? Just enjoy this and don’t be scared.”
You patted her back as you gave her a reassuring smile, knowing how much she melts with that sweet smile of yours—it always makes her comfortable. Maybe it did work as she smiles back, causing your heart to flutter yet you know how afraid she is as it’s evident from her expressions—more people are coming in the roller coaster as it’s going to be at least two turns for the both of you to get a grip on this ride.
“Woah, that loop looks fun! Ahh… can’t wait to ride it!”
“When did she show interest in these kinds of thrilling rides? Must be my doing…”
You can’t blame her for being confident all of a sudden as you thought as the cause of that is all because of your reassurance. There’s nothing wrong with it yet you’re baffled at the sight of it—even proud about Seoyeon’s audacious demeanor that you’ll never forget.
As a couple of loops, turns and screams have passed, the two eventually get closer to the thrill as you can see Seoyeon’s vibrant expressions and hear her deep, raspy voice being cheerful and it never fails to awe you. You always had a soft side for her yet you never felt softer than before considering how adorable and lively Seoyeon is today. Is it because of the places you treated her? Is it because of how fun it has been? Is it because of your anniversary with her? Is it because of you? These questions lingered around your mind about Seoyeon’s sudden switch of mood yet you’re not complaining.
“Oh, it’s now our turn, Yeonie. Don’t be scared, alright? Just have fun here! I’m sure you’ll enjoy this.”
“Wow, it does help me to not be scared… Thank you…”
Seoyeon’s sarcastic tone makes you giggle, knowing that no one is offended. The both of you then find a seat at the back as you fasten your seatbelts, making sure that everything is neat and fine. Both of you take deep breaths as Seoyeon holds your hand, tightening the grip as she feels the roller coaster moving up, making her feel mixed-up emotions as adrenaline pumps down her veins and so are yours.
Seoyeon looks calm at first yet you know how she’s screaming inside as the roller coaster goes higher and higher until the both of you can see the whole amusement park. She then closed her eyes as she tightened the grip of her hand on yours, knowing how much afraid she is in terms of heights yet you still managed to cheer her up, reassure her even though you feel the same—you want to make her feel better than yourself.
“Hey, just take deep breaths and you’ll enjoy this, okay Yeonie?”
All the response that you got is her eyebrows scrunching like an adorable panda that she is, knowing how scared and thrilled she is as the roller coaster is near at the top where you know that any second now, you’ll experience the paramount of fun and fear all in one go—the freefall.
You prepare yourself from the inevitable as you hold her hand, not wanting to let go of her as she lets out a scream of half-joy, half fear as she feels exhilarated and so are you. Once you hear the railings click, you know that this is the time of delight as the roller coaster goes down at lightning speed within a blink of an eye.
—-------------------------------------------
Series of screams and laughs can be heard from the distance as the wind blows directly at your faces considering how fast the roller coaster is. Series of G-Forces can be felt as the roller coaster goes in a series of loops and turns which you enjoy whole-heartedly. You always want to experience these kinds of things—you always want to experience thrill and new adventures throughout your life.
“AHHHH! Oh my f- AHHHHH!”
Seoyeon’s screams ring all over your ears as you just close your eyes and count the seconds that’s passing as you want this to end quickly, as soon as possible. Eyebrows furrowed, you’re curious about what's happening around you as you refuse to open your eyes, fear taking over your body yet you fight it. Eventually, you got a sight of what's happening around you—people enjoying and thrilled about the ride as well as the view high up—as you looked to Seoyeon beside you who seems to be delighted about the experience. Time feltl slower as Seoyeon’s flawless features are in your sight, making you in awe. A smile paints your face, dopamine running down your veins as excitement skyrockets over the roof.
A lap around has been completed as you start to feel dizzy and dumb-founded as the numerous loops and turns is to blame. Concern then paints your face as Seoyeon may feel the same, yet worse as you know how weak her stomach is.
“Hey Yeonie, a-are you feeling good?”
“Yeah! This ride is so fun!!”
“She’s not showing any signs of fear? She’s maybe on to something…” You taught yourself as Seoyeon seems to be showing such uncanny expressions—it almost feels like she’s a new person with the same body but you dismiss those thoughts from letting you overthink as fun is what matters now.
Not so long after, Seoyeon then got a glimpse of you as she laughed with the faces you're making and on how you're screaming like a helpless child.
“Yah! Are you a-alright?”
“Wha-DO YOUUUU-AHHH—think??” Your screams make you a clown in front of Seoyeon as she non-stop laughed while still enjoying the ride—also, still feeling the thrill of it. As you were screaming your lungs out, Seoyeon becomes calm as she feels overwhelmed about this experience, an experience that she’ll never forget.
The ride then stops after two laps as you sigh in relief, thanking that everything is over as you got up on your seat slowly and checked on Seoyeon immediately if she was alright.
“What do you mean? I’m really fine!” Her adrenaline-filled words reassures you yet you’re not convinced as you know how weakly she takes these kinds of rides. Even though you’re the one who got scared all throughout the ride, you still prioritize checking on Seoyeon as concern dominates your feelings.
“Are you really sure, Yeonie? I know you…”
“Yeah!! We can go for another one if you want to…”
“No, thank you.”
A giggle escapes your mouth from sarcastic persuasion as the both of you get out of the ride. It seems like she wants to go for another yet you know that she can’t take another more, so you doubted her limits. Of all of the things you’ve done, this is maybe the most exhilarating and the most regrettable one yet you didn’t complain further as you savor every second with Seoyeon and couldn’t ask for anything more.
A few walks is all it takes for a call of nature as you hurriedly rush to the nearest restroom you can find and also reminding Seoyeon that you’ll be back shortly and telling her to just wait in the bench near the coffee kiosk.
—------------------------------------------
Boisterous noises of people screaming and having fun can be heard anywhere yet it’s just silence from Seoyeon—her right feet tapping the ground with a fixed pattern as her thumb scrolls up the contents of her newsfeed on her phone while waiting for you.
“Hey Yeonie, I’m here! I’m sorry that it took a while, coz’ there’s a lotta restrooms that are occupied…”
“It’s alright. I’m just feeling tired all of a sudden…”
You knew this would come yet not this way but it’s reasonable since it has been almost a full day of the both of you traveling and eating at places as well as having fun and you know she’s saying these kinds of things because of her subsided adrenaline.
“Aren’t you just wanting to take a ride again on that roller-coaster earlier or am I just tripping?”
“Maybe both. Ugh, you’re such a kill-joy person. Haaa…”
Exasperated breaths escaped Seoyeon’s mouth as you know that she’s indeed serious about what she said earlier as it is evident.
“Yah, I’m sorry Yeonie, it’s just the fact that I wanna know what you’re really feeling…”
A hand on her back, you patted her reassuringly, making her feel comfortable in your arms. She then smiled at your simple action which always makes your heart flutter.
“You definitely look tired, Yeonie. I’ll take you home so you can rest, alright?”
“Okay…”
Without a time to waste, the both of you went to your car in the wide parking lot outside the amusement park. After the both of you got into the car, you asked her if she’s really feeling alright since she’s not really exaggerating when it comes into expressing what she’s feeling.
“I’m just feeling tired, that’s all…”
“Oh, okay… Don’t you want some food? You’re maybe just hungry because of that ride.”
“I’m good. I just wanna rest…”
“Are you sure Yeonie?”
“I am…”
She then held your hand as a sign of trust, making you convinced that she’s feeling fine yet you’re skeptical, knowing how she’s feeling not-so-herself today.
You always had a thought of her faking her façade to attract your attention but it doesn’t seem to be the case at this moment. The both of you then went to the parking lot, straight to your car as Seoyeonquickly opened the door and  thuds onto the seat, diverting your attention to her again as concern paints your face.
“Are you really alright, Yeonie?”
“Yeah, I’m fine, just drive us home so we can rest…”
Her reply is colder than ice; her face stern as you’re confused on what got to her to act this strange. Without any hesitation, you just dismissed those thoughts and just focused on driving the both of you home.
*engine starts*
—---------------------------------------------------------------
This day has never been so awkward between you and Seoyeon as the both of you haven’t converse since you started driving. You didn’t mind taking a glance on what she’s doing as you’re focused on driving with nothing else in mind. You’re not feeling any anger or frustration, yet confusion is. She felt strange and you don’t know how to react to it so you just hope for this to end as it starts to ruin your day.
“Yah, Seoyeon-ah, are you-”
Finally having a thought to take a glimpse of her and you're not surprised on what you saw—her sleeping peacefully as her body rests like a panda. You didn’t look too long as you’re driving but you can’t help but giggle at her current state.
“The things you do to me Seoyeon-ah…”
You then dismissed those enervating thoughts earlier as you played your favorite songs on the radio while driving to boost your mood and serotonin throughout the entire course of the ride.
Completely ignoring any distractions, you bobbed your head to the beat of the music as you feel much more reinvigorated than before. It even got to the point that you almost forgot Seoyeon was even there, in the passenger seat, still sleeping peacefully.
It wasn’t such a long ride for the both of you as you just arrived at Seoyeon’s place with just the 8th song finishing its last seconds.
“Yah, we’re—”
You paused as you took a look with flawless features. You just realized how mesmerizing she looks whenever she’s sleeping and you’re in awe of it. You’ll never get tired of seeing her, on how beautiful she looks—her visuals are out of this world. Dismiss the aggression on your voice and wake her up slowly and you did just that. Caress her cheek gently as you softly wake her up, she was met by your gaze as her eyes prettily fluttered, her drowsiness evident from her short, sweet nap.
“We’re here Yeonie~”
“Woa—it was too fast, I wanted to sleep longer…”
“Well, the destination’s not that far from your place which explains why we’re fast. Plus, there was no traffic on our way here. Besides, you can sleep there as long as you want.”
She yawns in front of you as you find her stern face adorable rather than intimidating. With no time to waste, you turned off the engine after parking your car as you thought of opening the door for Seoyeon, making her puzzled and flustered.
“Didn’t know you were a gentleman. Thank you…” she giggled right after she said her sarcastic praise towards your actions. You scuffed as you know how much she loves teasing you but you didn’t mind—you rather found it cute than annoying.
“I’m happy to help, Ms. Lee.” your gentleman-like tone irks her as she lets out another giggle, knowing that you’re teasing her as she’s not offended.
“Ugh, stop it! You’re making me cringe…”
“My apologies then, Ms. Lee.”
“Ugh, stop it!”
Even though you’re playing with her, she couldn’t help but blush with your actions. Seoyeon finds your presentable tone and modulated voice with a hint of jocularity attractive rather than annoying. Not so long after, you opened the door that leads to her house, clicking and unlocking the locks and she rushes and thuds onto the couch.
You, on the other hand, are enthusiastically going around the house as you’re thinking about the possible ways that can make her out of that mood.
- - -
“Bring her one of her favorite chocolates?”
“Nope, that’s the oldest trick in the book.”
- - -
“Maybe, watch some movies with her?”
“I doubt that she’ll even be interested in a single one.”
- - -
“Cook her an early dinner?”
“She’s not really hungry, and she may not even eat it knowing I cooked it—she’s not a big fan of my cooking skills.”
- - -
“Ughhh, it sucks!” you rolled your eyes in disappointment as none of them seemed to work, or so you really thought.
“Hey, calm down, geez! Why the hell are you acting so stressed? Pftt…” Seoyeon snapped as she’s clearly annoyed by her actions. Why would she be annoyed? She made you overthink so much then she’s the one who has the guts to be “pissed”? Well, there’s only a single answer to find a solution out of this peculiar act.
“And why are you acting like that Seoyeon? I don’t know what got into you to act like this.” you snarled at her as you’re now at your breaking point. This was supposed to be a celebration but why is it like the opposite? There’s nothing you can feel but irritation as you glared at Seoyeon, sending shivers down her spine.
As you’re about to go to the kitchen, Seoyeon shouts to stop you as ignored her, not minding anything at the moment as Seoyeon feels like it’s her fault for being like this. Well, maybe it is but you’re also questioning yourself on how the both of you are acting like kids towards each other. Having a second thought, you turned back to go to Seoyeon as a loud splash ringed your eardrums, surprising you on what happened suddenly.
“Surprise!” Numerous people shouted in joy as confetti flew around the room, surprising you with a lot of things as there was a birthday party the day after. You were caught off-guard as you don’t know what to feel at that very moment. Seoyeon was late after chasing you as she caught you, frozen on the spot with an awkward expression.
“I guess, it’s a… Surprise! Hah…”” Seoyeon’s sarcastic tone makes things even awkward as the plan has been ruined. She didn’t know that you’ll break like this as all was just a set-up. You knew something was suspicious once Seoyeon got out of her usual mood today and your speculations were right. You’re surprised to see her friends (Hayoung, Chaeyoung, Jisun, Jiheon and Jiwon) right here at her house to surprise the both of you—originally it was just you yet the plan has been ruined, leaving Seoyeon panicking and surprised about the sudden outcome.
“I’m sorryyyyy…” Seoyeon’s signature pouting tone made you collect your temper and calmed you down from the sudden burst of anger you’ve felt—more like a disappointment. Seoyeon felt bad seeing you like that and she knows she’s the reason behind this—she knows how much you hate people getting shrewish and the ones who always kill the good vibes. Awkwardness still resonates around the room as it’s dead quiet, Seoyeon breaking it by back-hugging you and tip-toeing to rest chin onto your shoulder, making you squeal because of how cute she is. You then face her as a smile of reassurance paints your lips, signaling that you’re fine with it as you hug her in return.
Hayoung and Chaeyoung were frozen on the spot too, holding the confetti poppers as giggles escaped their lips because of how cute the both of you are whilst Jisun, JIheon and Jiwon were teasing the both of you silently as Jiwon breaks the silence, shouting that the both of you should kiss as your cheeks redden. Seoyeon was also moved by what Jiwon had said as she hid her face with her hands, feeling shy as the serotonin was way too much and the pressure from Jiwon is not helping her, at all.
“Unnie! Please, stop it…”
“You two are so cute! The both of you should kiss together and—”
“Yah, Jiwon-ah, let them be! It’s their moment together!” Hayoung playfully scolded Jiwon as she pouts sheepishly, knowing that she’s maybe messing up another moment for the both of you. You didn’t seem to be bothered by her actions and so does Seoyeon—she even feels invigorated by Jiwon’s words.
Without any time to waste, despite the still-awkward aura around the kitchen, Seoyeon invited everyone to celebrate your anniversary as plates and plates of mouth-watering food are displayed on the kitchen table. Your mouth waters by just seeing them as you hurriedly got plates for the girls but Jisun stopped you as she initiated to do preparations instead of you.
“Please Jisun-ah, I’ll prepare the plates, I’m sure all of you got tired from preparing these.”
“No, Oppa, it’s alright. you sit down and relax yourself. Enjoy your time with Seoyeon, okay?”
There’s no other choice but to agree to her as Jisun patted your back, smiling as she got into action on preparing everything as Hayoung initiated to help too.
While the girls are busy preparing, talking and laughing, you divert your attention to Seoyeon who seems uneasy, her fingers fidgeting around the hem of her blouse as she looks at the environment outside, seemingly wandering to an empty abyss.
“Yah, Seoyeon-ah… Are you okay?” you gently said as you approached her, making her gasp and involuntarily startling right after.
“Uhm… I don’t know… I’m—sorry about what I've done earlier.” Seoyeon says apprehensively knowing how much she had pissed you off earlier.
“Hey, Yeonie~” your tone is soft and reassuring, making Seoyeon relieved a little as she’s still not complacent—still worrying about your sudden burst-out earlier.
“Don’t say sorry to me, I should be… I’m sorry for being too sensitive, I just—like, you know? You know—you know me, right?” your tone is uneasy, stuttering because of the overwhelming emotions you feel. She shouldn’t feel bad—she shouldn’t be in the first place, so with all your might, you kissed her on the forehead and embraced her despite the awkwardness the both of you are experiencing.
You pull out of the embrace after a few seconds, knowing how it’ll make you embarrassed as there’s still Seoyeon’s friends, just meters away from the both of you. You’re uncomfortable showing affection towards Seoyeon with others around, so you pull right away, which Seoyeon didn’t mind—she’s also feeling embarrassed upon your act yet it still makes her flustered no matter what.
“Hey you two lovebirds! Come eat some food here!” Jiwon suddenly interrupts, teasing the both of you as Jiheon playfully hits Jiwon because of her sudden actions. Knowing Jiwon wasn’t offended or hurt by Jiheon’s hit, they proceeded to laugh it out as the rest of them joined the fun.
Both of you didn’t seem to mind—Seoyeon is nonchalant and didn’t reciprocate further—as you smiled towards each other, taking a glimpse of her beautiful face and stood up on your seats not so long after.
“Hey, what food do you want? We have some ‘kimchi jjigae’ here, some honey butter-flavored fried chicken here, and you favorite bulgogi—”
Time went slower as her voice is the only sound that echoes around your head. You then take a look at her flawless features: the sharp nose, those kissable lips of hers, her noticeable eyebags that earns her the nickname ‘panda’, those hazel-brown eyes—just everything you can think of: perfection.
“Hey, are you good? Hey!”
“Wha-WHA! Ohh—ohh… Sorry, I was thinking of something, Yeonie…”
She eyed you suspiciously as she pouted right after, knowing that it’s nothing that she should think about thoroughly. Not so long after, you got your plate alongside your chopsticks and fork to indulge in the mouth-watering food you’re dying to eat.
—------------------------------------------
“Oh gosh, stop being so messy!”
“I can’t help it, Yeonie. It’s way toooooo~ delicious…”
The scattered crumbs and sauce stains are all over your lips as Seoyeon sheepishly clicked her tongue, disappointed because of the mess you’re making—she feels like she’s taking care of a little child as she wipes the stain out off your lips with a tissue.
Minutes and minutes had passed as more chatters and laughs reverberated around the kitchen, you felt euphoric as this has been the best experience you’ve had in your life. You could never ask for more as this is way too much of a celebration—the balloons and confetti that flew over thinking that a birthday party happened, the food and all of the effort exerted is—in your words—unreal. It’s maybe exaggerated—disregarding the serotonin you’re feeling, so are the butterflies on your stomach—yet your feelings are true, true in a way that you’re sincerely grateful and thankful for everything she's done for you, and she’s thinking the same as if your efforts are appreciated by hers.
“Uhm… Seoyeon-ah!”
As the both of you were still talking to each other, Seoyeon was stopped as she turned her head, only to see Jisun waving her hand and telling her that they’ll leave. They also thanked Seoyeon for the food as Seoyeon thanked them for helping them for the not-so-executed surprise for you and also about the planning that made all of this special, in a way.
The façade of your faces changed as the door closed—it wasn’t anything new as the both of you are just shy to reveal your true personalities when it comes to showing affection to others. You then approached Seoyeon and back-hugged her while she’s still busy peeking through the window as she lets out the tiniest, raspy scream you’ll ever hear and it’s way too adorable for you to handle. Her small squeals as you kiss her nape is one of the reasons why she’s the most adorable girl you’ve ever met. Even with her intimidating and daunting demeanor, she’s a soft puffball inside and it balances her looks well—that's according to you.
“Yahh… Aren’t you mad?”
“Why would I be? Besides, thank you for the food Yeonie. You don't really need to bother preparing so much.”
“Says the one who treated us in an amusement park and in the cinemas…”
Seoyeon giggled right after her joke towards you, knowing you aren’t offended as you find it rather wholesome.
“Also, I’m still sorry for making you mad.”
“Oh, come on Yeonie, it’s not your fault, it’s mine. You don’t need to say sorry, okay?”
You reassure her once again as a faint smile curved those beautiful lips of hers. In a mere second, you hugged her again as you stroke her hair, letting her know that it’s not her fault but rather, yours. She doesn't hesitate to reciprocate as she snuggles her head onto your chest, comfortable that she’s right by your side.
She raised her head, flashing a vibrant smile as her eyes formed a crescent, showing how delightful she’s been feeling. You tucked her hair behind her ear as you kissed her forehead, earning a soft squeal from hers. The both of you pulled away from each other as she initiated to invite you to watch a movie.
“Can we?? Pleaseeee…”
With those puppy-like, crescent eyes combined with her small and captivating tone, how can you decline? Besides, you wanted to watch a couple of movies too as curiosity is the main culprit here. Seoyeon inviting you to watch something isn’t new to you. She invites you and persuades you to try and do something so you’re not surprised yet something baffles you—it baffles you to the fact that she suddenly kisses you on the cheek as her tone’s much more affectionate than before.
Well, maybe it’s because of our anniversary that’s why she’s acting like that—you’re just thankful for seeing such an adorable girl like her lit brighter than the sun and you wouldn’t complain about how she’s acting softer than usual.
“You’re really the best!” Seoyeon exclaims as she hopped on the couch, the loud thud audible as you glared at her, signaling that she should be careful or she’ll be hurt.
“You’re no fun!”
“Just be careful next time Yeonie, gosh. You’ll hurt yourself.”
“Awww, he’s suddenly thoughtful about me! How cute is that!” Seoyeon’s mocking tone and her pleading face is enough to make you in awe but you suddenly act cold, playing with her as her face is puzzled, anticipating what could happen next.
“Am I always not thoughtful about you? How can I— not be soft whenever you’re around?” Your cold demeanor is exchanged with your fluttering words that makes Seoyeon blush faintly. You know how to turn on her buttons and so she is towards you but she never saw this coming.
“Stop i-it…”
“AH! You’re blushing!! AHH!”
“Stop!”
You already know that Seoyeon’s flustered once she faces away from you, her hands uneasy and her endearing yet intimidated tone. You always love to see those and you’ll make sure that you’ll treasure those saccharine smiles of hers at all times.
“Yah, aren’t we going to watch a movie?”
“Oh yeah, I totally forgot it when my mind’s all cloud up, all about you.”
“Yeonie, actually—” you held her hand as you endearingly stared right on her hazel-brown eyes, maintaining eye contact to her as you smiled involuntarily, her responding with a faint smile that’s full of enthusiasm, “—can’t we just, rest and cuddle each other?”
Seoyeon’s facial expressions changed faster than the speed of light; the utmost happiness can be felt just by seeing her smile as her delightful aura emanated, making you smile and feel the same happiness as she does. In just a few seconds, Seoyeon hugged you as you were pushed onto the couch, making you squeal lightly as you were shocked by her sudden action.
“I’m so glad to have you.”
“I’m glad too, Yeonie.”
A quick peck on Seoyeon’s lips is enough to show your affection towards her as her cheeks flushed rosy-pink. Both of you exchanged smiles as you break the silence, interrupting this wholesome moment which she didn’t seem to bother.
“I’m also glad your acting skills got better compared to a month ago—I think you should audition now, Yeonie…”
“Stop it!” she annoyingly responded and giggled right after. Knowing that she isn’t affected vastly, you laughed as she smiled back at you.
Whoa—those beautiful curved lips forming a saccharine smile should be always treasured, and you’ll promise to yourself that you’ll do, no matter how bitter or sweet everything can be.
“I love you…” your lips involuntarily shaped with the flow of those words as Seoyeon didn’t hesitate—nor got shocked—to reply back.
“I love you too…”
You then cupped her cheek—your eyes looking at her lovingly—as her hazel-brown eyes shining upon the not-so-dimness the room was emanating. Without any second being wasted, you pecked her lips and caressed your finger on her cheek as you enveloped her with your embrace, finding warmth on this cold, breezy and especially, the most memorable day in your life.

Time for Quatro?
Tumblr media
“Well, how was it?” You look at your girlfriend with a shot glass in your hand.
She looks at you, smiles then raise her glass in the air. “Time for a quatro?”
Both of you smile as you take your shot. The bitter taste of the soju is going to make you forget about the past week. You fill Jiheon’s shot glass.
“Hey, are you trying to get me drunk?”
“Not really. I just want to celebrate! Woooo Hooooo!” You scream. The five beers and two bottles already made you who you are right now.
Jiheon swiftly takes the shot again. She raises it and then slams it on the table.
You smile as you look at her laugh. She is and has always been a blessing to you. The way she laughs, the way she looks at you, and the way she makes you happy. You are the luckiest guy in the world since you are with Jiheon.
“Woooooooo!” Jiheon already took her tenth shot as you start to reminisce about why you started dating her.
You look down at the table. There are a few pieces left of fries. “Want more?”
Jiheon smiles at you with her Asian glow already on her cheeks. She is barely drunk but is definitely on her way to being. “Sure, just make sure it is cheese flavored.”
You raise your hand to call the waitress and look at the menu that you are given. “Can I have fries?”
“Sure anything else?”
“Ummm, one—”
Jiheon glares at you.
“Two more bottles of beer and one bottle of soju. Thank you.”
Jiheon smiles at you. The same smile that you have always loved about her and it is something you would always want to see.
Soon the waitress comes back with your drinks and fries.
“Ya! Oppa! I said no ketchup!”
“Jiheon, you love ketchup.”
“Oh yeah.” *Hiccup* “I do love ketchup.” She stands up and pulls you closer to her. “Like how I love you.”
You freeze for a second. As much as you have been dating for five months, Jiheon hasn’t said I love you, or at least until now.
She falls down back to her chair and grabs some fries and drips them in the ketchup and eats some. You sit there shocked.
Jiheon loves me?
“Jiheon-ah, are you drunk?”
“Maybe.” *hiccup*
“Okay, let’s go.”
You pick her up and bring her with you. She leans on your side as she struggles to get her two feet planted on the ground. Her entire body almost falls to the floor as you try to place her on the bench so you can wait for a taxi.
“Oppa?”
“Yes, Jiheon?”
“Do you love me?”
“Uhh…”
“I said I love you.”
“I love you Jiheon…with all my heart.”
Jiheon leans for a kiss and a brief moment your lips collide. But you have to push her away as her breath stinks of alcohol. Fortunately, the taxi arrives. You try your best to stuff Jiheon inside the taxi then after you get inside. You put on her seatbelt so she can be safe, then you put on yours.
The taxi driver looks at you. “Need this?”
“Thank you.”
You prepare it just in case for Jiheon. But she seems stable, so instead, you look out at the window.
I do love you Jiheon with all my heart.

hayoung ˖ ࣪⭑ making a song with you. you wanted to write a song as a gift for your friend, and what better place to make one than with the queen of songwriting herself! she would be so attentive in listening to what kind of song you want, and so so patient when you don't understand a part of the song making process.
gyuri ˖ ࣪⭑ going to a tennis game! it's summer, and what better way to celebrate than going to a game! you get in the spirit all the way from the comfort of the cool bleachers. you both settle on a team to support and are quickly absorbed in the game. gyuri's sure to make you feel better with ice cream after your team loses.
jiwon ˖ ࣪⭑ mini golf. a dose of healthy competition never hurt anyone! you've never played before, so jiwon has the advantage in this game. not to worry! to keep it fair, she'll give you some pointers and help you perfect your form. she eventually (secretly) throws the game to let you win, because your cheerful face of victory was all she was looking for.
jisun ˖ ࣪⭑ gym date! you two are wearing matching workout sets, you in pink and her in black. you start out your workout with some stretches, (jisun would hate to see you sore), and you get to work on some cardio. seeing jisun all sweaty and hot leaves you dizzy, so jisun elects to have a water break. jisun can't tell if it's the endorphins from the workout, but you look prettier than usual.
seoyeon ˖ ࣪⭑ ikea date. this might be a bit unusual but seoyeon loves walking around in ikea with you. she loves the food court and seeing the sets and imagining living in a room like that with you one day. your eyes twinkle under the show lights and seoyeon can't tell what's sweeter; the sight of you or the ice cream she's currently enjoying.
chaeyoung ˖ ࣪⭑ night walk. honestly chae seems like the type to enjoy simpler dates. she just wants to appreciate the time you have together with no bells and whistles. she loves being pushed on the swing, feeling the wind in her hair, while you two have a conversation about the past, present and future.
nagyung ˖ ࣪⭑ gaming cafe. as we all know, nakko is our resident gamer. she'd love to take you to one of her favorite gaming spots and teach you all things gaming. she'd order a huge bowl of ramen for you to share, and she'd get right to business. she'd start out playing fortnite with you to get you started and would carry you well throughout the game. she'd totally reward you with a kiss for winning.
jiheon ˖ ࣪⭑ photo booth. even though you were originally planning on going to an arcade, jiheon spotted a photo booth stand and pulled you in! she already finds you beautiful, but when you ask for some mascara and lip gloss to touch up your makeup, there's no way she'd refuse. you take a couple of silly shots, and a surprise cheek kiss (from your end) that really pulled the set of photos together.

My Roomate Bestie
  Jiheon x reader fluff

Tumblr media
You exhaled a heavy sigh. You were staring at the Verenda of your apartment as your eyes observe the busy night street.
It was always peaceful whenever the night arrives in the city and your view of your apartment dorm was perfect.
Well it was almost perfect because another person would fill the room. At first you were shocked by this fact because you applied for a single room dorm but because of the lack of funding and the sudden demand for a room, the landlord had no other choice but to make the single dorm room a shared dorm.
You tried to look for another dorm to apply too but because of a new school year, everything was booked and no single dorm was available for you.
In the end you had to accept it that you'll have a new roommate by force.
"Fuck.. I just hope that person isn't someone I hate the most.."
You took a sip from your tea as you continued to watch the night street.
You were Y/n Park. A 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student. Your cozy apartment will be invaded tomorrow and you didn't like it but you have to accept it.
With a sigh, you decided to rest for tomorrow's the weekends and it means its your rest day. Also, the weekends you were pertaining too was just sunday.
You headed to your room and closed your eyes as sleep took over.
It really feel like it was only 5 minutes of shut eye as the sun peaked through your window and it didn't help that someone was already knocking on your door.
You woke yourself up first as you put on some cologne just in case the new tenant is a woman. You can never known.
Once you look tidy and neat, You took a deep breath before opening the door and your eyes widen when the person infront of you looked....cute.
Tumblr media
"Oh... Umm.. H-Hello.. I'm Baek Jiheon. Umm.. I'm moving in?"
The first thing you saw was her bright smile which was brighter than the sun itself. She was also quite tall but you were visibly taller than her.
You saw a few boxes near her and was surprised she carried all that by herself.
"Ah, You must be my new Roomate. Well the monthly pay is 150$."
Her eyes widen as she was visibly shocked.
"What?!"
You chuckled seeing her reaction.
"I'm just joking."
She calmed down upon hearing your words as you carried her boxes which surprised her.
"Woah, these are heavy boxes. You carried all of them?"
"Ah, No.. My.. My brother helped me up."
You entered your dorm with her box as you gently placed them on the spare room next to your own room.
Jiheon was slowly feeling comfortable with you as she wasn't expecting a good guy like you to be her roommate.
She was also a bit anxious from the start because she was an Idol and very known too. She was afraid that her roommate would just be an annoyance or would do something weird to her.
But seeing you upclose and witnessing you carry her stuff, her worry slowly dissappeared but there was still one question that lingered around her brain.
"Does he know me?"
Once you were done carrying her boxes you stretched your arms out as you didn't expect that you had to do an exercise first thing in the morning.
You looked over at her as she inspect her room.
"This room isn't much used. If you find andy dent on the wall or find anything wrong with your room. Just tell me and I'll speak with the landlord. He's an old rich man but can't fix shit..."
You sighted as Jiheon laughed softly at your joke.
"Come on, give him a break. He's an old man after all."
"Well I guess your right. Ah, I'm Y/N Park by the way. Nice to meet you Jiheon."
You offered a handshake to her which she happily accepted. Maybe it was because you just woke up as her hand was soft as a baby's skin and this made your heart skip a beat.
For the entirety of the day, you helped her with her stuff and along the way, you got to know her more as she got to know you as well.
Though she left out the part where she was an Idol as she wasn't that confident about it sharing with you.
"So you're gonna be a teacher huh?"
She enthusiastically nodded her head.
"Yup."
"Sounds nice to be honest. My dream is preety boring. Just fixing cars and all that."
Jiheon shook her head at you. She placed her hands on her hips and said
"It's good that you have dream you know. Even if its boring, it's still a dream."
Her pose towards you Almost looked like a mother scolding her son for misbehaving.
"Not many people at our age know what they want once they reach our age. It's a good thing you have goal in life you know."
"Uhuh, well I'm already 20 anyway so I guess that's normal."
"...."
Jiheon was quiet as she looked at you like she has seen a ghost. This made you look confused at her.
"What?"
"You're 20?"
"Yeah. I just turned 20 a few months ago."
She immediately bowed her head at you as this suprised you.
"I'm so sorry Oppa, I didn't know you were older than me."
"Uhh It's alright Jiheon. Just call me Y/n. No need to be formal though."
You laughed whole heartedly as it felt nice that someone called you an Oppa. You never got a girl say that to you unless they were asking for directions.
This time, a cute girl like Jiheon called you that word which skyrocketed your confidence.
Jiheon blushed from embarrassment but smiled nonetheless as you were cool with her calling you by your name.
Some people Jiheon encountered would often like them being called Oppa just because. Jiheon of course has no problem about it but she would be lying when she said she's not getting tired of it.
Luckily for her, she didn't have to formal with you as you were a cool person.
"Oh yeah, we haven't had dinner yet. Let me see if we have ingredients for-"
"Ah no it's okay Y/n. I actually ordered us some Pizza and drinks. It's my way of saying thanks for welcoming me. Hehehe~"
She shyly chuckled as a small tint of red appeared on her face. Seeing a flustered Jiheon was making you melt as Jiheon was starting to have a soft spot for you in your heart.
"I.. I couldn't be more happy meeting such a thoughtful junior. Huhuhu"
You faked your crying as Jiheon's shy demeanor immediately dissappeared and changed to a laughing mess.
.
.
.
.
.
It's been a few weeks since Jiheon moved and it was actually quite fun with her around.
You remember the times when you returned to your dorm and you were greeted with a quiet ambiance which wasn't that bad at all. Back then, You had all the time for yourself but now with Jiheon around. It was actually quite fun.
There was no dull moment with Jiheon around as she would immediately talk to you the moment you return home.
Her school was very close to yours but the problem is that it was an all girls school and they are very strict when it comes to boys.
You have no problems there since there was no way you would go to her school-
"Hey, Y/n? Can you do me a favor? I..forgot to bring my handout which I needed today but I can't leave school cause my schedule is packed. Is it okay for you to bring it to my school and give me my handout? I'll buy you  Dinner later.
Welp, I guess you jinxed yourself.
"Sure why not? Where is it anyway?
"It's just around my study table. You'll see it cause it has a label on it.
"Alright. Bring it to you
"Thank you so much Y/n. I'll treat you to Dinner tonight.
You just chuckled at her and ended the call. Finding her handout was easy as her room was very organized. She was after all, a very organized compared to you who fixes their room whenever they want too.
Getting her papers was the easy part. The real journey was just starting as you walked to her university.
Her university was Seoul Women's university. It was prestigious school for the best young women in the country. So it was normal to see some prestigious looking people there.
Their attire was completely different from you but that didn't bother you as you entered the campus not knowing what kind of den you entered.
Once you entered the campus, You noticed the stares they were giving you as this made you a little tense but shrugged it off as you looked for Jiheon.
"Oh shit, I forgot to ask her where her class is."
You were about to call her when a girl approached you.
"Hello~ are you looking for something?"
"Ah, Do you know Jiheon? I need to give her something."
"Ah, Baek Jiheon? The princess of the school."
You smirked at her comment as you find her nickname childish and funny.
"Ah yeah, her. Do you know what her class is Miss?"
"I think she has class in that building."
"Oh okay, Thank you."
You smiled at her as you walked away and headed to the building she pointed out. Even though it was just a few seconds of conversation, the girl's heart was beating so fast and her cheeks were red.
"Well, their building looks more cleaner than my school so I give them that."
You thought as you eyed each classroom looking for a cute smiling girl. Some girls in class began murmuring to themselves as they discuss how a handsome guy was eyeing their class.
You on the other hand wasn't able to find Jiheon and was about to wait for her when Jiheon came running towards you.
"Oh, Jiheon."
"Y/n..you…have it..?"
She asked you as her words were cut off with her heavy breathing. This made you sigh as you pulled out your water bottle and gave it to her.
"Drink first. You're dehydrated as fuck."
Jiheon blushed a little as she accepted your offer. Though she hesitated at first as her mind was conflicted with her own thoughts.
"Aish those 2 girls really. If they didn't say those words maybe I didn't have to make this a big deal. Besides, It's not like were kissing....it's just... An.. Inderect kiss..."
Once again Jiheon blushed as this confuses you. Jiheon looked redder than normal as a small sense of worry started to fill your thought.
"Hey you alright?"
"H-Huh? Y-yeah I'm fine."
"Hmm…you sure?"
"I'm sure-"
Your hand touched her forehead as this only made her blush even more.
"Sheesh, You're burning up. Keep my water bottle for now. You should rest after today. Don't worry about dinner. I'll buy you some soup later alright?"
"But-"
"It's alright. It's not like I have no money you know? Hahaha."
You have no money.
You were broke. Well not technically but you were saving money just for keepsake. But you didn't mind spending a few for Jiheon.
You handed her the papers and left leaving a very confused Jiheon.
Her heart was racing and her breath started to feel heavy. Her cheeks were also turning pink rather than red.
"What's this feeling?"
It was a new feeling for her. She felt like there was a knot on her stomach for some reason. And when you were away from her vision, that knot feeling dissappeared immediately. It was a mix of anxiety and joy and a little of excitement.
She couldn't figure out what it was but she was also curious about it. This was something that intrigue her and who's better to ask than her members.
.
.
.
.
"You're in love Jiheon."
"Yup, Totally."
Saerom and Hayoung said as this made Jiheon shocked. She didn't expect those words to come out from the 2 eldest in the group.
"Wait! That sounds impossible though. How can I fall in love with him when it's only a few days of meeting him?"
"Well has he always been there for you?"
"Well..."
Jiheon began to think about that question, were you always there for her?
She looked back at the beginning where you welcomed her warmly. You helped her move in and both of you enjoy each other's presence.
Next, she looked back when you were always there whenever she had a problem. The latest was a few days ago when you gave her assignment papers. Even though she offered you dinner, you declined it and even made you soup which she enjoyed by the way.
Last is how much she started seeking you whenever you arrive home. Her life has always been an idol and a student but being with you made her feel like she was just an ordinary girl. She can have fun like a normal person and even be sad like a normal person.
Maybe it was because you didn't know she was an Idol that you didn't react to her at all. Or it could be you were just hiding the fact that you know that she is an Idol.
Either way, it all pointed to you leaving a positive impact on her which in turn made her feel like this.
The feeling of love.
Jiheon blushed as she realized what has happened to her. Hayoung smirked at their Maknae as Saerom looked a little troubled.
"Guys! Jiheon has a crush on someone!"
Her voice alerted everyone as they all rushed towards her. Some smiling while the others with a stern look.
Chaeyoung, Hayoung and Nagyung were the ones smiling while Saerom, Jiwon, Jisun and Seoyeon were the ones with a stern look.
"Ohh our Maknae is all grown up. All in love uwu"
Chaeyoung teased her as this only made her embarrassed even more.
"Yah, who's the guy? Is he nice? Does he have a hobby? Does he drink? Smoke?"
Saerom was straight up intirogating the Maknae of the group as Hayoung had to pull her away.
"Ah, No I'm going home. See you guys tomorrow."
Jiheon avoided all their question as she stood up and grabbed her bag and zoomed away from their practice room. Her action made them chuckle at her.
"Ah, she's so cute when she's flustered."
Saerom smiled proudly but that didn't last long.
"Now I wanna have a nice talk with the guy."
Saerom's cold stare could kill someone as Hayoung calmed her down.
"Unnie, I think talking doesn't require a bat. Where did you even get that?"
"Oh? This? I don't know. Maybe it magical appeared here"
.
.
.
.
Jiheon returned to your dorm as she quietly made her way to her bed not wanting to wake you up.
She knew that if she faced you now, her soft fragile heart can’t handle it. You already killed the lights off the place and since Jiheon didn't want to make any noise, she walked to the dark and unfortunately for her, she tripped and made a huge loud sound.
"Shit! I better-"
"Jiheon! Are you okay!"
That voice. Your voice alone send butterflies to her stomach as she could feel her heart beating so fast.
You hurriedly made your way to help her up as Jiheon was Quiet. Unknown to her she got an ankle sprain as she immediately winced in pain when she put weight on her feet. Once again, you were their to catch her as your face was full of worry.
"Hold on tight."
"wha-"
With one scoop, You were carrying her princess style. If you think Jiheon wasn't red enough, think again.
She was redder than a Tomato now but she also liked how your strong arms carried her with no effort.
You gently placed her on her bed as you left and returned immediately with some ointment and something to patch her ankle.
"Sheesh Ji, just tell me if it hurt alright?"
She could only nod her head as she was embarrassed that the person she liked was tending to her injury.
You gently applied the ointment and gently massaged her ankle. Jiheon was surprised and shocked that you were actually preety good when it comes to massaging her ankle.
She felt so relaxed and at peace but once she felt the patch wrap around her ankle, she knows you were already leaving.
"If you can't walk, just call me alright. I'll help you out."
Jiheon now was more tempted to say something to you.
"Y/n."
"Yeah?"
"Why are you so nice to me?"
You stayed silent for a few seconds before you smiled at her.
"Because kindness is the best thing to do."
Jiheon widen her eyes as she looked suprised at you.
"I believe being kind to others is the best way of showing someone you appreciate them."
"You appriciate me?"
"Of course. Being with you made it more fun for me. Not only that, but I actually like it when you smile. It also make me smile you know. It's very preety too."
Jiheon couldn't help it. Her heart was racing to the max and she was slowly falling deeper and deeper for you. Then it hit her. This was now or never. She needed to get this out of his system. So with all the courage she had left, she decided to say it.
"Y/n."
"Yeah?"
"I wanna apologize to you for not telling you this."
This confused you as your eyebrows raised a little.
"What do you mean?"
Nervousness was starting to eat her up but she clenched her fist as there was no turning back now. She has already started it and she needed to go and finish it right.
With one deep breath, she said
"I'm actually an Idol. Fromis_9 to be exact."
"Oh your an idol.….........wait an Idol?!"
It took you a few seconds to realize what she said as your shocked expression turned into a smiling one.
"That's so cool!!"
Your eyes were bright and full of excitement as Jiheon couldn't help but smile. This in turn only added more confidence in her.
"Y/n."
"Yeah?"
"What do you think of me dating someone?"
"Ohhh, Do you like someone?"
You got closer to her as this only made her blush as her cheeks turned redder.
"I.. I do.."
"Oh? Who?"
"Well... For starters, he's very kind. Like he is always ready to help anyone. Also he likes to make me smile all the time."
"Damn, he's a lucky bastard."
You grumbled those words as you couldn't believe an Idol like Jiheon actually like someone. In your perspective he was a really lucky bastard because he was able to capture the cute smiling preety girl Jiheon.
But you were her friend,so in some sort of way you won something.
Jiheon on the other hand chuckled as she describe you, the person she likes....
No
.
.
.
.
The person she fell in love with.
"He also tends to my needs even though he doesn't have too. He also was my Roommate bestie when I first moved to my dorm."
At this point, your eyes widen as you immediately looked at Jiheon. Jiheon looked so calm and happy towards you. Her smile was something you never saw before.
It has that same shine you always see but this time, it had another flavor mixed in.
.
.
.
.
.
 It was love.
"Right now he tended my ankle and is staring at me surprised. And I'm about to tell him..."
Jiheon slowly made her way towards you as she closes the gap between you.
"That I..."
She was leaning closer to you.
"I...."
Jiheon stopped as both of you were close to each other's gazes.
"I love you."
Jiheon finally said 3 words that she wanted to say. She has never expected to say those 3 words in her life to someone other than her family and members but here you are, making her say it.
Your heart was racing as you could swear you can hear your own heartbeat. Your cheeks were turning red as well.
Because you didn't expect the girl you fell in love the moment you met her, was confessing to you.
You held your emotion away as you felt that you manage to build a friendly bond with her. Besides, you realized that Jiheon's beauty was waaaay beyond your league. There was no way she will give you a chance.
But fate sure knows how to play with your feelings.
"I'm..sorry Jiheon."
Jiheon already knew what those words means. She looked down defeated knowing you dissmised he-
"I also liked you the moment I saw you but was afraid to confess because we became good friends. I'm sorry I'm a cowa-"
Jiheon didn't want to hear your pathetic words anymore as she shut your mouth with hers. Her soft plump lips tasted so sweet.
Her strawberry flavored lips was what your brain was processing. Her stomach who was filled with butterflies was removed and was replaced with passion and excitement.
A few seconds passed by as Jiheon pulled away as both you managed to wake yourself up from the euphoric experience.
"You didn't have to apologize Y/n. Why do you need to apologize? I love you and you love me. Isn't that what matter right now?"
You adjusted a stray of hair behind her ear and gave her the sweetest smile you could give her. In your arms was the most beautiful and preetiest girl in the world.
You kissed her forehead as Jiheon wrapped her arms around you.
"Yeah, I love you too my roommate bestie."
She giggled as both of you snuggled in her bed. You gave her head a pat and said
"I should probably meet your members first. To get their approval you know?."
"Ah, you might want to avoid my leader if you value your life."
"But isn't the leader the first one I should meet first? Don't worry I-"
"She'll kill you on sight."
"So how long were you in a idol group?"
Jiheon wholeheartedly laughed at how fast you changed the topic. This was one of the many reasons why she fell for you.
"Well I first started at...."
The entirety of the night, both of you just admired each other's presence and eventually fell asleep in each other's embrace. Both of your hearts were at calm and peace as they felt safe and loved.
Because their hearts was with their roommate bestie.

synopsis ⇢ as a student, jiheon knows what it’s like to be stressed during final exams, so she decides to come over with a sweet surprise.
Tumblr media
you slammed your head on the table, a loud thump spreading through your empty apartment. your roommates were out partying late at night again, both of them being business majors who rarely had to worry as much as you on their final exams. whenever you tried to talk to them about your stress and worries for the future, they would try to convince you to pursue something different where your mind would not always be occupied with studying for the exam you had in a week or the lab homework you had to finish before your 8 a.m. lab.
despite how much you complained about your coursework, you never listened to them. you loved spending time in the lab, studying the latest specimen the professor had laid out under the microscope. you were so interested in what life in a lab coat had in store for you from the experiences you had already been granted.
though, during these times, you wished your younger self never found so much interest in science and all of its mysteries. you swore if you had to learn about another bacteria present in everyday life, the pain in your brain would grow to be worse than the one growing on your forehead from your defeated faceplant on the table. rubbing the spot as you lifted your head up, your eyes focused back on the screen in front of you. you tried to decipher the words on the screen, eyes moving to the notecard in front of you when you couldn’t comprehend the words. it seemed the hit to your head hindered your ability to understand what you had written, not that you could make sense of it before.
you closed your laptop before you pushed your chair away from your desk, deciding that you deserved a break after using up all the strength your brain had studying for this final. now your problem was about what exactly you could do. more times than not, you used this break time with your roommates, either playing mario kart on the nintendo switch or watching a couple episodes of the tv show you three were currently watching together.
with nothing else to do, you wound up in the kitchen, rummaging through the refrigerator and cupboards for anything you could eat before you returned to your studies. unfortunately, there were limited items in the pantry. one of your roommates probably forgot to buy groceries, so now you had to face the repercussions while they were probably enjoying some food. delicious or not, you were sure the alcohol would make anything they consume astronomically better. you debated having some yourself, knowing that your roommates often stored liquor in the apartment. however, when you remembered the copious amount of material you still had to go over, you decided against it, opting for a cup of coffee instead.
as you put the pod inside the keurig, you heard the doorbell ring. raising an eyebrow, you  made your way over to the door, wondering who could be there at this time. it was past normal visiting hours, but it was still far too early for either of your roommates to be home. peeking out of the peephole, you spied on the person who was waiting patiently at your door. recognizing the person, you immediately pulled open the door, causing the person behind it to jump.
“jiheon,” you breathed, not believing that she was right there in front of you, backpack slung over her shoulder and holding a mysterious box.
“surprise!” she greeted, pushing her way into your apartment.
you watched as she set the box in her hands onto the counter before opening her hands up for a hug. you sighed, knowing that you could never deny your girlfriend of her wants, even if you were a little disappointed in her at the moment.
“you shouldn’t have came. it’s dangerous coming over here at night,” you scolded as you wrapped your arms around her, holding her as if you had almost lost her to whoever may be lurking in your shady neighborhood.
“you’re always worried for no reason. i didn’t come alone!” she defended, “chaeyoung and nagyung came with me, and they have each other going back. no one’s getting hurt around here.”
you shook her head at her explanation. you were just glad she was safe. if something happened to her while she was trying to come to you, you didn’t know what you would do. you would probably fail your final though as you would be worried too much about her to even study. seeing how the keurig’s stream of coffee had stopped, you retrieved your french roast.
“coffee?” you offered her, already beginning to shuffle through the random assortment of pods stored in the drawer.
she clapped her hands together in excitement. “ooh! that’s actually perfect! do you have the one i drank last time i was here? that one was really good!”
you tried to remember the last time she had come over to your apartment when your roommates were around. they had offered her one of their flavored lattes, so you figured that was what she had drinken. you knew she wasn’t much of a plain roast person. neither were you, but it helped keep you up better than your roommates’ lattes.
“caramel mocha latte?” you read from the pod you picked up, “is this the one?”
she nodded in response, so you put it into the keurig, replacing yours that was soon thrown in the trash. you went through the cupboards to find her cup, the cup that was meant for her because it perfectly matched yours. a year ago, you had gotten it as a gift at a secret santa you attended, not thinking the cups would ever be put to good use, but here they were.
“so…why did you decide to come over,” you asked as you leaned on the counter. you took a sip of your coffee, seemingly forgetting about all the laws of temperature while trying to start a casual conversation. turning your head and sticking your tongue out, you attempted to let the cool air reach the tastebuds you may have burnt off.
she shrugged. “thought you could use some company. i saw your roommates earlier, and they said you were stuck at home studying for an exam, so i figured i could study with you.”
jiheon was as studious as ever. you knew from experience she preferred to study alone, however. both of you did, opting to stay away from each other until exams were over to prevent any distractions. you were quite surprised by her response, but you weren’t about to complain about having some company. you loved hearing things in the background to reassure you weren’t alone, even if the only sound you would hear was her soft breathing.
“then i guess you really need this coffee,” you joked as you pulled the mug off its spot, handing the freshly made cup of caffeine to her.
“thank you.”
she took the cup into her hands, the warmth beginning to spread through her hands. it was much needed on a cold night like this where any sane person would rather be curled up in their blankets watching a movie instead of catching up on the different classes of antibiotics and which infections they can help recover.
jiheon followed your gaze onto the box she had set on the counter, realizing those eyes of yours were asking a question of their own. “i baked cupcakes for us,” she explained, opening the box to reveal an array of amateurly iced desserts, “they look kind of ugly since i don’t bake often, but i can assure you they taste great!”
though the cupcakes could never compare to ones found in the high-end bakeries surrounding the campus, they had a special beauty to them. this special beauty originated from the one who made them with such care and love, rubbing off her own beauty onto them.
nothing could be more beautiful to you than the things jiheon made with her delicate hands. you’ve kept every single present jiheon had ever made for you. from the portrait she made when you two were in middle school to the teddy bear she tried to sew last christmas. you cherished everything your girlfriend made, for every piece would have her tender love tucked away into it.
“no,” you asserted, “they look great.”
you never missed the way her eyes lit up whenever you reassured her the projects she deemed failures were never actually failures. she appreciated knowing that if no one appreciated her works, you would.
you picked up one of the cupcakes. the pink frosting hung over the sides, marking your fingers with the sweet cream. peeling back the wrapper, you attempted to take a bite of both the cake and frosting for the perfect bite. however, your nose dipped into the frosting, creating a dollop as you pulled away.
this elicited a giggle from jiheon, who tried her best to hide how she was laughing at you by placing her right hand over her mouth. it wasn’t very effective though, considering how over the years you studied the way her eyes would crinkle into an eye smile every time she felt remotely happy. you gave her a joking glare with your arms crossed after you placed the cupcake down. she pulled her hand away and placed her cup down to grab a napkin from the side, revealing her wide smile that showed off her gums.
“sorry,” she apologized as she brought the paper towel to your nose, pinching it to wipe off the frosting completely. “so, did the cupcake taste alright?”
you were about to open your mouth to give your genuine answer, but something else came to mind. “why don’t you find out?”
confused by your strange response, jiheon reached over for another cupcake to have a taste herself. however, before she was able to do so, you held her face and pulled her to look at you. her expression began to mix between the confusion of your answer and love as she stared into your eyes. without another thought, you pulled her into a kiss, hoping the reminiscence of the cupcake’s taste would transfer as your lips molded together.
you two stayed like that for a moment, taking in the affection both of you were deprived of while studying for exams. this was exactly why you two never wanted to see each other through your important exams. once it began, you two never seemed to want to pull away from each other, as if the other would disappear the moment you disconnected.
as you placed your hand on her back, prepared to continue for a while longer, a loud sound came from your phone. both of you pulled away. you cursed at your habit of always setting alarms for your breaks to make sure you never strayed away from your studies for too long. you sighed as you pressed the button to grant the room with silence again.
“i guess that’s our cue to begin our studying.” jiheon remarked as she gathered her bag from the chair, “if we finish early, we can continue.”
she was right. both of you had a long night ahead, so it was in your best interest to begin your session as soon as possible. you still had yet to process what you had been unable to comprehend on your notecard earlier.
“i suppose you have a point,” you surrendered before picking up the cupcake to finish. in another two bites, it was gone, and you felt the energy coming back to you in the form of caffeine and sugar.
both of you grabbed onto your cups from the counter, bringing them back to your room. you cleared half of your large desk, which had been scattered with countless papers filled with notes, and pulled another chair to it. jiheon sat down comfortably, setting her backpack to the side before pulling out her ipad and textbook. after you two cracked your knuckles in unison, you both were ready to conquer a couple long hours of studying.
before you did though, there was something on your mind.
“so, how did the cupcake taste?”
“it was sweet, but i can’t tell if that was the cupcake, or if that was just you.”

*bzzzzz bzzzzz*
“It’s 1am. Why is she calling? Hello?
“Oppa.”
“Jiheon-ah, are you okay?”
“Yes, oppa.”
“Why are you calling at 1am?”
“Oppa, I want to tell you something.”
“Sure, go ahead.”
“...”
“Hello?”
“Umm… it’s something that I’ve been wanting to tell you for a long time now.”
“Oh okay. What is it?”
“Err…”
“Jiheon-ah.”
“Yes?”
“Have you been drinking?”
“Yes.”
“How many have you drunk?”
“Oppa, can I say something first?”
“Sorry, sure. Go ahead.”
“Oppa, I, uhh, I like… *exhales* I like you, oppa.”
“...”
“I liked you since you took me out to lunch after school. When you walked me home because it was dark and cold. You gave me your jacket which I’m wearing now.”
“Jiheon-ah...”
“Oppa, I liked you for the longest time, but I was too shy to tell you. So I got drunk.”
“Jiheon-ah, can I tell you something?”
“Yes, oppa.”
“I-I like you, too.”
*gasps*
“You’re a sweet girl. Cute, funny, smart. I didn’t tell you because I thought you knew.”
“Oppa…”
“Sorry, I’m—*yawn* I’m a bit sleepy right now and we’re either tired or drunk. Wanna talk about this tomorrow?”
“Sure. I-I’d love that.”
“Okay, Jiheon-ah. Goodbye.”
“Goodbye.”
“Good night.”
“Good night.”

fromis as your girlfriend?

You wrap your coat around Saerom and plant a kiss on her hair once you get the chance.
"I was kidding," she giggles, "I'm not that cold." Despite her words, she snuggles your coat a little bit more before she tries taking it off. However, the moment the skin of her hands are exposed to the frigid air, she shivers and rubs them together.
"There's no point in lying, Rommie. You're about as hard to read as a children's vocabulary book." Your hands meet her cheeks, a miscalculation on your part, and she shivers at how cold you are. Her eyes fill with a sort of shy sadness, but her quick thinking saves you both.
"Uhh, my legs are tired too. Carry me?" she asks bashfully, knowing you can't refuse her. Of course you oblige, and as you pick her up in a piggyback ride, she wraps both your and her coat around you to keep you warm too.

The bowl clatters to the table, spilling its contents all over the surface. Your yelp is loud and sharp, reflecting the pain that covers four of your fingers in the hot soup.
"Fucking idiot," Hayoung grunts. She rushes to wipe your hand free of the liquid, while simultaneously righting and filling the bowl your dropped with cold water. She places it in front of you and dips your fingers inside.
"Be more careful next time." Her voice is stern like it always is when you get hurt. "I can't always be around to look after you and keep you safe. It's like you're doing all this on purpose, honestly."
Behind the scolding, you know her words come from a place of genuine worry and care. Of course they do; her heart can't bear seeing you in pain. Hayoung's gaze never leaves your hand, her fingers never leave your wrist. She has to make sure you're okay.
"It was just an accident, my beloved bread loaf. It wouldn't kill me." The worry in her eyes balloon more, as if she's near tears.
Ease her worries, pull her in and plant a kiss on her exposed forehead. "But okay, I'll be careful. I'm sorry."
Her gaze softens as she finally meets your eyes. A small smile forms at the corners of her mouth before her attention returns to your healing hand.
She fishes your fingers out of the bowl and carefully kisses each one after every word: "I love you too."

You find Jiwon outside the laundry room with her arms crossed in front of her chest and a finger between her teeth, evidently lost in thought. As you approach her, the smell of detergent overpowers you, and the sound of bubbles popping vigorously out of sight grows louder and louder.
She finally notices you getting closer, and she holds out her hand to stop you. "Okay, before you get mad, know that I did everything right. Something's broken."
"What did you-" you grunt, but as you round the corner and peer into the laundry room, you find the floor covered in suds and the washing machine whirring like it never whirred before.
"See? Broken." Jiwon places her hands on her hips proudly, proud to show none of this was her fault.
Your gaze flies to her in disbelief, and her features drop in disappointment. Her eyes meet the floor between her feet and her voice lowers in volume.
"You're mad," she mutters ashamedly, "I'm sorry, honey. I don't know what happened."
The washing machine finally stops whirring, but the lights all throughout your apartment flicker. You frantically rush for the circuit breaker and flip the master switch off, nearly slipping as you do, and darkness falls all around the two of you.
"It's alright," you sigh. You pat her on the shoulder and pull her in for a snuggle. "You're not hurt, honey?" Stroke her hair and comfort her, still wary that she might be keeping something else about the situation from you.
"Nope, I'm fine, but I have to own up to something: I maaaaybe forgot to read the instructions." Her laugh cuts through the tension of the situation, and you find yourself laughing with her. It'll be a headache tomorrow to get all this fixed, but for now, it's a welcome slow dance with your girlfriend in the dark.

The two of you head off to a nearby shade as Jisun hums happily at the sweet flavor of her ice cream. She's the type to take bites out of it, and while you found that a bit weird, it takes nothing away from how much you love her.
"What flavor is that again?" you ask while licking your lips free of your own ice cream. She takes a second before meeting your eyes, evidently really enjoying her cold treat.
"It's- Ahahaha, look at you!" She points to your chin while bellowing a hearty laugh. She nearly folds in half as her joy consumes her; each time she rises and takes in the sight of you, she laughs again.
Confused, you fish our your phone and inspect yourself in the screen. In your reflection you find a dab of your rocky road on your nose and a line of it from your lower lip to your chin. It suddenly connects what Jisun was laughing so hard about:
"I'm sorry, love, you a bit look like a clown!" She struggles to get her laughter under control, but loses it when you pull a funny face for her. She pounds your chest weakly, announces her sides are starting to hurt, and yet, her laughter never lets up.
There's no shame nor judgment in her reactions, and you know full well that she's only overflowing with joy to be spending a perfect day like this out with you. There's no harm in laughing at yourself once in a while, especially when you get to hear Jisun's as well.

You shut the door behind you and walk over carefully to Seoyeon's bed. She lifts up the covers and hurries you in despite you trying your hardest not to spill the ramyeon you cooked for her.
"Thaaank you, sweetheart," she cheers, taking the bowl and chopsticks from you and placing it carefully on her lap over the blanket. She cuddles up to you happily before taking her first bite of your cooking, and she shakes in contentment once the savory taste of the food washes over her tongue.
As the TV drones on in the background, you wrap her in a warm embrace. You have half a mind to scold her, wanting to tell her off for not getting up all day, but with a sight like this, you really hate to break the peace.
Instead, you watch as she devours the ramyeon bite by bite, her eyes never leaving the TV, and her head never lifting off your shoulder. The scent of her hair fills your nose, and the warmth of her body calms you down and releases tension you didn't even know you had.
"Say aaahhhhh." Seoyeon lifts up a bite of her ramyeon and blows on it, then brings it over to your mouth. She stares expectantly as she waits for you to open up, and who are you to decline?
She thoughtfully offers you the bite of her food, her food, and you eat it gratefully. Her eyes turn into crescents as her smile takes over her features, and for a moment you take in the beauty of Lee Seoyeon.

You snap what might be the millionth picture of her today, probably not even she knows how many you've taken for her so far, and hand your phone back to her for inspection.
"Hmm, no, still not it. Take a few more." She walks back to the wall and strikes another hot pose. Her finger flies towards the stairs, and you understand that she wants you at a higher vantage point for a better angle.
You take a number of steps up the flight, and point your lens at her once more. "Chae, please, we've been here for hours. Can't you just pick the best one?" you whine, but you still fulfill your duty of snapping pictures of her. The light from the flash washes over her features and figure, and you're once again reminded that she's gorgeous. Why even whine about merely taking pictures when this is your muse?
She swipes back your phone and scrolls through your gallery, carefully scrutinizing each photo. She settles on one, and favorites it. "Hehe, thank you, baby. Send all those to me except that one with the heart. "
You take back your phone and find the photo she's talking about, and you notice that by her standards it's the best one out of them all. She flashes a beautiful smile at you, no more pictures, as she wraps you in a warm and grateful embrace.
"Why not this one? I thought you'd like it the most."
"It is! And that one you keep for yourself. Only for your eyes." She kisses you playfully on the lips before smiling again, "For being the best boyfriend ever."

The live band fills the room with a sophisticated symphony, all the while pieces of silverware clink against plates and hushed, faraway voices of the snooty and rich reach your ears. You try your best to ignore the atmosphere of this fancy dinner, with the only thing in the world making it semi-bearable having a terrible time as well.
"I can't believe I let you drag me all the way out here." Nagyung's knife clacks against the fine porcelain making up her plate, most probably leaving scratch marks on the priceless dinnerware. She retrieves a poorly-cut bite of the tough steak, sighs, and eats it anyway. Nagyung spends a bit more time than usual trying to chew the meat before ultimately swallowing with a grimace. "My mouth isn't made for food like this. I need pizza and Yakult."
"If I recall correctly," you retort, your voice unexpectedly harboring a harsh tone, "it's your fault we're here. You weren't satisfied with suffering alone and you just had to bring me along as a plus-one." The fish's pepper overwhelms your taste buds and you make for your glass of water again. Just one gulp is enough to wash it down, but the sheer amount of fish left on your plate disheartens you.
"Look, I'm sorry. I knew it'd be boring, but I didn't think it would be this bad," Nagyung sighs, shuffling her peas and corn around the plate. You can tell with how she sounds that she means it, and by the way that she acts that she regrets ever mentioning this to you.
Feeling guilty at losing your temper, you attempt to reassure her. It's the least you could do, once you realize how utterly disrespectful what you just said to her was, and try to make up for embarrassing her like that. "This ends at 11, right? Just enough time to get to that Italian place by the park before it closes?"
She looks up at you with a face riddled with shock, but then is quickly replaced with a shining grin. Her teeth gleam in the candlelight as her adorable giggles reach your ears.
"We can just about make it if we break four speeding laws on the way." Her tone is now filled with an unmatched excitement, like the first shot of espresso on a dull morning.
"Awesome. Pick up the pizza, stock up on Yakult, get the hell home. Perfect crime."
Nagyung laughs out loud, attracting the attention of a few others near your table. She covers her mouth, but the smile never leaves her eyes as she whispers: "Are we stealing the pizza too? What do you mean 'crime?!'"
"Figure of speech, dummy," you declare as you twirl your fork in the air like a wizard, "But not completely off the table."

Jiheon flips the leaf over and over, examining every vein it has. Her eyes rake over the stalk to try and find any defining features at all, but her search evidently turns up nothing of value.
"What type of tree is this?" Her question is innocent, and she's so engrossed in the specimen that she even forgets to look at you.
"Damned if I knew. What am I, a tree-ologist?" Your joke steals her attention, but she responds with only a blank stare.
"Arborist," she says in passing, her attention turning back to the leaf. "They're called arborists."
"Right..." you mutter, shame rising to your cheeks at your apparently immature attempt at humor. Jiheon is too smart for you sometimes, and you don't always connect.
She picks a leaf off the branch and walks over to you. Your girlfriend drops it onto your palm and says "Keep, please. Wanna look up when we get home."
You nod and put the leaf away in your jacket pocket, and she watches as you expertly stow her specimen in a secure place on your person. Once the both of you are sure the leaf is safe, she clings to your arm and snuggles, the image of pure joy.
"What's gotten into you?" Your question is innocent and maybe a little bit dense, but it only serves to make her smile grow wider.
Jiheon snuggles more into your arm and even plants a kiss on your shoulder. She looks up at you with adoration, but something tells you she has one teeny bit of mischief up her sleeve.
"Nothing, you're just cute, that's all. Thank you." She kisses you on the cheek and refuses to explain any further. Her eyes look ahead as the two of you continue your stroll through her neighborhood.
Jiheon is too smart for you sometimes, and you don't always connect. In the rare times that you do, it feels like the world is right. But in the times that you don't, like now, it only reminds you how much more of her you're looking forward to seeing.

Last minute birthday
Jiheon x Reader
Length: 2.2k
Tags: birthday, fluff, first kiss, dancing, low-key, late night
I really wrote this last minute because I had no time and for that reason, it’s unedited so it’s kind of rough, sorry guys.
Tumblr media
It was 00:34 and everyone was sleeping. Everyone but Jiheon. She was on her phone, trying to call her boyfriend who wasn’t answering at all. It was her birthday today. So why weren’t you answering any of her calls? It’s been 24 hours, she started calling you in the morning—deciding that waking you up at 3 AM was acceptable since it was her day—but you didn’t answer, and it was understandable, the problem was that you did not answer even one of the 29 following calls.
To be honest, Jiheon didn’t know if she should’ve been mad or worried but when it was her phone that rang, and you were calling now, she settled with mad. Jiheon sighs angrily and rolls her eyes, she snuggles into her bedsheets and answers the phone.
“What?” she says drily.
“30 missed calls? Were you trying to set a record?” you softly chuckle on the other end.
Jiheon did not find it funny. You were wholeheartedly laughing while she was worried sick and just fuming mad. Jiheon scoffs. Unbelievable. “Are you serious right now?” she asks, glaring at her phone. If your face was on the screen she would’ve slapped it.
“Huh? What’s wrong?” you reply.
“What’s wrong?” Jiheon slowly repeats emphasizing every letter. “What’s wrong is that you barely spoke to me for the past week—which I can understand—but now, when you do, it’s so dry as if I’m actually bothering you. That’s right? I am a bother.”
“Jiheon, no, no,” you rush to correct her. “It’s just that I’ve been so busy all week.”
“No. It isn’t that. I know you’re always busy but when you’d reply late, you’d do it with a long-ass message but now—now, you can’t even reply with three letters.”
“Honie, not now,” you groan.
“And yesterday, you ghosted me! You didn’t even read my messages. We talked about this already. That’s wrong. I don’t care how big your problem is, just tell me, dump it on me,” she says with frustration.
“I know, I know… Heonie, please, just—”
“No.” Jiheon ignores you. “And don’t tell me you actually forgot what day it is today.”
“Uhh, Monday,” you say. “Jiheon, please. I’m sorry. Whatever it is, I’m sorry. I—It’s just… It’s not a good day today, okay?”
Jiheon huffs and lets her head fall into the bed. She couldn’t help it. “Today’s the worst,” she agrees with you for once. “So tell me…” she starts, “What are you mad about today?”
You sigh and slump against the cold plastic wall of the station. “My bus got delayed and now, my girlfriend’s mad at me,” you uttered. Jiheon, at those words, softens.
“Bus?” Jiheon asks and you hum. “To where?”
“To my girlfriend,” you answer. “It’s her birthday.”
Jiheon jumps out of her bed. She doesn’t even change clothes and just grabs her coat. “Where are you?” she asks as she rushes to the living room to grab her keys and purse. She runs down the stairs and out to the cold. Her breath fogs the air while she confirms your location. To her, and your, luck, you’re just twenty minutes away from her.
She drives and quickly finds you in a lonely bus station under a semi-broken lamp. There you were, with a cake box between your arm and chest while you were holding your phone between your neck. You smile when you recognize her behind the car window.
Jiheon parks in front of the cubicle and runs to you.
You smile and put your phone away. Jiheon smiles as well but tears stream down her face while she hugs you tight. You hug her back and clean her tears with your thumbs. You chuckle softly. “What has gotten into you?”
“I’m so sorry,” Jiheon says, pulling you in tighter, and wrapping her arms around your shoulders and back. She was still in her pajamas and slippers, her coat was half open, but she didn’t care. She wasn’t even cold. She missed you more than anything and was waiting this exact moment for the whole week.
“Happy birthday, love,” you barely mumble with her coat muffling your voice. Jiheon squeezes you one last time and pulls away. In a flick, you catch the box that was sliding down until now and put it on the seat.
“Phew…” you sigh. “As I was saying,” you start again, “Happy birthday to my sweetest baby.” You cup her cheeks, creased for her wide smile and look into her humid eyes, reddened but happy. “I love you. I know I couldn’t express it well this past week, you deserved more than that, but today and for the next couple days I have all my time for you. I really appreciate you. It’s been hard but you kept my spirit high and I am extremely grateful for you.”
Jiheon tries her hardest to hold it in. She bites her lips and sniffs, contracting her face in a frown in discomfort. You were going to laugh but she busted in tears. “Darling…” she pleaded between hiccups. “I wuv you sho much, ish my fault sorwy…”
“It’s okay, it’s my fault too,” you laugh. “Don’t be crying now.” You get some tissues from your pocket and wipe her tears away. Jiheon continues to cry, with her arms dangling, while you frantically wipe it down. After a minute she stops and blows her nose with the remaining tissues.
“Let’s go home,” Jiheon says. You make to grab your bag but Jiheon takes it for you and puts it inside. You hold the cake and seat in the passenger seat beside her. You take the time of the ride home to catch up with her. Some fun things happened at work and you had to let her know. You also told her about every chance you had to boast about your girlfriend, who was the best in the world and everyone had to know it.
Once home, you set up the cake, putting the candles on and the little plate with her age. 20 years old. It’s been almost a year since you two started dating. Time sure flies. You look at Jiheon. She wasn’t the immature girl you knew back then anymore. She was mature now, in her features and mannerism but deep inside nothing changed. Her heart was still as kind as always, as joyful and happy. Her smile was still as bright and her eyes still as beautiful. You swore the day when you gave yourself to her that you’d protect that innocence everyday.
You remember everything and chuckle.
“You have to make a wish,” you tell Jiheon.
Jiheon nods, holds her breath and, “Iwishthatmyparentswillbealwayshealthymyboyfriendtooandthathelovesmealwaysandneverleavemeformyfriendstobebymysideandforustobesuccesfuland—”
“Wait! Only one,” you laugh in disbelief. “Also you don’t have to say it, but think it.”
“Oh, okay…”
Jiheon looks at the cake, brings her hands together, closes her eyes and blows the candle. She tears again a little. You smile and look at her. You cup her cheeks once again, a habit you two developed together, and softly whisper to her, “Again, I’m sorry, Heonie.”
She shakes her, smiling happily. “It’s just that I’m very happy darling,” she says and you hum, kissing her nose.
“Oh, wait, I remember I have the present,” you say, eyeing at the paper bag wrapped up in tape.
“What did you get me?” Jiheon asked you.
“Not telling you.”
“Awww, come on! I’ve been waiting all dayyyy,” she pouted. She always gave you that look when you didn’t want to buy her something. But this time she was especially annoyed because she was kicking her legs up and down like a little kid throwing a tantrum. She continued until you finally gave in.
“Okay! Okay, I will get it jeez…”
You ripped the little bag open to reveal a square box, a cd case and a notebook. The cd case said on the front "songs that remind me of you" and a little heart next to it. You and Jiheon had similar taste in music and you had this conversation before, love songs that are perfect for both of you. On the notebook, instead, there was written “reasons why I love you” because Jiheon has always been a little bit insecure, with being an idol and everything. You thought it could help her.
You then handed her the box and left the other things on the table.
“Open it,” you said with a smile.
As Jiheon opened the box her face seemed to be going through twenty different emotions in three seconds. Then she finally looked at you with teary eyes. Saerom would definitely tell Jiheon has cried many times that night and kill you tomorrow when she finds out.
“Darling…”
It was a gold necklace with your and her first initials engraved on a gold plate. It was something you wanted to get for a while now. She said a while back that she wanted to have something to keep that would represent your relationship. You only started to work recently part-time to pay for it. You were glad she liked it.
Next thing you know Jiheon is on top of you tackling you in hugs and kisses, pretty much suffocating you. “Thank you so much, baby! I love it! I love it!” You let her do it and laughed, then in that position, you put your hands behind her back. Closing your eyes, you started swaying, Jiheon chuckled and followed you.
Laughing, you pulled Jiheon into the kitchen along the side of the wall. “Loosen up, Heonie! You know how to dance, don’t you? Imagine it’s raining… wouldn’t it be amazing?”
Jiheon raised an eyebrow in amusement. “Amazing? You wanna play in the rain? What are you? A kid?”
“Wouldn’t it be romantic?” you ask, continuing to sway together. “Us together, alone, away from every distraction, every needless sadness and problem. Under the rain, that’d clean us of everything, the dirt of everyday city life, leaving us wet and anew. We’d dance like nothing exists, not a care in the world. My arms on your waist, your hands on my shoulders, my eyes into yours.”
Jiheon lifted both of her hands and rested them near your neck and tilted her head towards Sanemi to briefly rest it on your shoulder. “Yes, that would be romantic. It’d be amazing… I really do have the best boyfriend in the world,” Jiheon says honestly.
Even under the cold temperature of the weather, you could feel your cheeks heat up. And when she gave you a peck on the cheek, you realized that you didn’t feel so cold anymore.
Your arm fell from Jiheon’s waist, and you took her hand into yours. For a moment, you walked hand in hand around the rainy room. Neither of you said anything; they just enjoyed being in each other’s presence.
For a moment, there were dark clouds in those ceilings. Having you by her side, having Jiheon with you, was enough to make you forget you were even in an apartment. The rain showering down onto your body was more real than anything.
“There’s no music,” said Jiheon quietly.
“We make our own music.”
Jiheon let out a soft laugh. “Yeah… yeah, you’re right.”
So, you and Jiheon slow-danced under the rain. You didn’t care, you just didn’t. All that mattered right now was how happy Jiheon looked while dancing with you. You were glad that even if they couldn’t have a grand event for her birthday, at least she was able to make Jiheon happy with this.
You didn’t know for how long they danced under the rain. They danced for so long that their slow dance had evolved into a frolic, and they were now laughing heartily together as they danced. You had lost track of time.
“We should get some sleep now—you still have work tomorrow,” you told Jiheon quietly. “You don’t want to walk like a zombie during practice, right?”
“It was fun, though,” said Jiheon, gazing at you with a soft expression.
“Yeah, it was,” you agreed. Despite the fact that your ignorance did piss Jiheon off a little and darken her mood in the beginning, she had to admit that you were able to improve her mood considerably. It had been a difficult week for her as well.
You let go of each other.  “I have to admit, even if it wasn’t the real thing, it was still romantic. You always see this in movies and dramas. I didn’t think I’d actually ever do it.”
You chuckled to yourself. “Well you always watch dramas, you must have got a couple of ideas every once in a while, right?”
“Well, do you know what else they do in the dramas in the rain?” she asked, sending you a small hopeful glance.
You smiled, answering, “They kiss”
“Then do you wanna—”
“Yes.” She was a little stunned to hear you answer so fast, but nonetheless, she couldn’t hide her cheeky smile when you leaned down and pressed a small kiss to her lips. Nothing crazy, just a short peck, but it left you both a blushing mess.
“You were always scared to hug me in the beginning, I remember,” she started. “It really took almost a year for you to kiss me.”
“Sorry,” you replied. “I’ll try harder.” She just laughed.
“Thank you for dancing with me, Darling,” Jiheon said, smiling.
You grinned back at her. “Not a problem at all. It always warms my heart and delights me to see you happy.”
Jiheon chuckled softly. “I am always happy with you. You make me happy,” she told you. “I love you.”

Pairing: fromis_9 Hayoung x Male Reader
Word Count: 1932
A/N 1: Hello Orenjideul! I'm back with another fluff featuring our birthday girl, Hayoung! I just made this quick and it is unedited, so I hope this turns out well. Stay safe everyone and enjoy this piece! <3
Tumblr media
—----------------------------------------------------------
Series of boisterous chatterings can be heard from their set as the members and the staff celebrated Hayoung’s birthday which Hayoung certainly enjoys.
Blowing the candle as the members cheer for her, Hayoung never felt delighted in her entire life as a precious smile prints her face, knowing how much they treasure Hayoung’s birthday and that almost made her tear up by just thinking of it.
It was too much for her heart to handle: the balloons, the mini tiara on the top of Hayoung’s head, the cake and the positivity that envelops each person on the set says enough. With that being said, the members then took pictures of Hayoung to gather a memory that she’ll forever cherish.
“Happy birthday Unnie!” A radiating sunshine comes near Hayoung as the rest of the members are preparing to leave the set as the shoot has been over.
“Thank you Jiheon…” Hayoung responded with a deep sigh right after, making Jiheon concerned as her eyebrows furrowed.
“Oh, what’s the matter Unnie? Is there something wrong?”
“Nothing much, Jiheon-ah. It’s just…”
Like the smart and clever girl she is, Jiheon got a grasp on why Hayoung is feeling off suddenly. She then reassures her with some encouraging words as well as a few pats on her back as Hayoung faintly smiles with her actions yet she can’t help but still feel the hint of disgruntled despite the day being complete.
“He’ll come Unnie, you just need to wait…”
“I hope so, Jiheon.”
After a couple of seconds of Hayoung contemplating, Jiheon then invites her to join the group as they’re going to go home to their dorm. Hayoung insists as she wants to be alone but she’s later convinced by Saerom and Seoyeon.
—-----------------------------------------------------
“I’ll just go and sleep alright? Good night and also, Happy birthday again Unnie!” Nagyung cheerfully bid ‘goodnights’ to Hayoung and Saerom as the rest of the members are preparing themselves to sleep in their own designated, shared rooms.
It has been another exhilarating day for the group and Hayoung is definitely tired yet her heart still shouts for that one thing that she’s wanting before the day ends is that you, here on her 25th birthday.
It has been almost 11 pm, just an hour left before the day is over and you never showed up even in a single second. Hayoung is frustrated upon your absence despite all of the memories she made today.
“Hey Hayoung-ah, I’m sure that he’ll come here… he’s just maybe rushing just to get you as he’s busy. There’s still hope…”
Saerom’s reassuring tone enlightens Hayoung to still fall on the positive side rather than thinking on the opposite. Maybe, in reality, you may not come but there’s still a fire igniting in Hayoung's heart that you’ll celebrate her birthday with open arms.
“He promised to come here… B-But, I’ll still wait…”
Saerom smiles as she’s enlightened about her thinking. After a few more talks with Hayoung, Saerom then gestured to Hayoung that she’ll go to her room to sleep as a nod from Hayoung is the response. As she’s the only one who’s ‘awake’, she then wanders her eyes from the vast night sky, reminiscing the fun moments with you and the other members. She smiles and giggles with those thoughts, knowing how much all of you mean to her yet she can’t escape the fact that you’re still not here, and brings back the frown on her face.
*doorbell rings*
Jisun then hurriedly walks to the stairs as Hayoung stops her, hoping that it’s you as dopamine starts boosting Hayoung, making her squeal in delight.
“I’ll open the door Jisun-ah, maybe it’s him…”
“Okay Unnie, have fun… The both of you! Ehe…”
Within Hayoung’s actions, Jisun went back to her room as Hayoung opened the door—she didn’t even bother peeking as excitement ran down her veins—and to her surprise, an angel appeared as she was stunned, her joy above the limits, higher than the roof.
“Oppa! I missed yo-ou…” Hayoung hugs you tightly as her head snuggle on your chest, making you hug her in response without even being able to muster a single word.
It has been months since you last saw her personally after her promotions and the both of you treasured that moment. You felt bad for her because you know that she’s been waiting for you all throughout the day and that hurts you. The both of you knows how busy both your schedules are as you barely got any time to meet her personally, so the both of you depended on the Internet to still manage a healthy relationship but it feels off, it feels like something is missing with that but you never complained any further. You even rushed to their set only to know that they’ve finished shooting, making you anxious as the day’s going to end and you haven’t seen her yet here you are, just inches away from Hayoung, enveloped in a embrace.
“I’m sorry Hayoung-ah. I’m sorry that I’m late. I’m sorry that I’m-”
“Sh-shhh… It’s alright Oppa.” Hayoung puts a finger on your mouth and shushes you. She knows why you’re late and it’s for your benefit, not hers. Hayoung also knows all the things you’ve done just to get here and with that effort, she appreciates it wholeheartedly. Hayoung then kisses you on your right cheek as a giggle comes out of her mouth, her cheeks flushed a tint of red and so are yours, but it’s your ears.
“Oh, how rude am I, come on in!”
You stepped up on their doorstep as you took a look around the dorm, looking different on what you saw last time.
“Wow, pretty much a lot has changed, eh?”
“Yeah, we arranged a lot of things here and cleaned too. Also… when was the last time you went here, Oppa?”
“About your ‘DM’ promotions, I guess… So??”
“Oh wow, that was a long time ago… I mean not that much but still, yeah.”
As she’s telling a series of stories to you, from the memories she made today up to the simple things she made, you can’t help but be stunned by her beauty, her side profile, which never fails to make you mesmerize. You’re in awe as time feels slower, her voice echoing as she snapped her fingers, realizing that you’re daydreaming about her.
“Yah! Were you even listening, Oppa??”
“Uh-uhh-UH! I’m sorry Hayoung-ah, continue…”
She sighed as she clicked her tongue, continuing what she’s saying as you looked at her in awe, again, her visuals being the epitome of being impeccable and you’re not surprised. You listened to her stories as a series of laughs and teases reverberated around the area. Hayoung smiles are really contagious as it shows everytime you’re together as dopamine runs down your veins. Between her words, you involuntarily said something that shocked Hayoung.
“You’re so beautiful Hayoung-ah…”
“T-Thank you, Oppa…”
Hayoung was stopped between her sentences as her cheeks flushed red from your compliment and her tone went shy. She gets a lot of compliments regarding her beauty but it just hits different when you say it, especially with the sincerity in your tone.
“Hayoung-ah, you may not know this but, I’m really thankful about everything that we’ve been through. Thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for the things you’ve done for me. The times when you comforted me, I’m so grateful for all of that. I’m glad to meet you Hayoung, so glad to be with you…”
A sudden silence was broken with your hug as you embraced her tightly, showing your affection towards her as those words made her frozen on the spot. The both aren't used to opening up to each other whenever you’re together as it explains how much courage you gathered to say it and how shocked Hayoung is.
You stroked her hair as you wanted to make Hayoung feel comfortable. Her blossom perfume brushes your nostrils as you smile, knowing that she used the perfume you gave her months ago. Not so long after, the two of them enveloped each other in an embrace as you kissed her forehead, making her squeal in delight as the both of you exchanged smiles.
“I love you Hayoung.”
“I love you too, Oppa.”
Tears began flowing her cheeks without you noticing. You then wiped it out as the both of you exchanged smiles again, making you adore her pristine features.
“Gosh, she’s just too adorable…” You muttered under your breath as you’re in awe.
Not so long after, you invited her to watch a movie as she eagerly agreed. She jumped out of the couch as she got you some water because she knows how tiring your schedules were and how tiring it is to get to their dorm.
She then held your hand as she rested her head on your chest, making you smell a familiar scent from the fragrant shampoo that she used—it was also your gift months ago alongside the perfume you gave.
“This will be fun, Oppa!”
“It will be…”
—-------------------------------------------------------
The breeze outside sets up the mood for everything that can be sentimental, yet it’s the opposite to you as it’s just full of ecstasy. She’s your happiness and you’re treasured to have her and vice versa. You never have such joy being with her even though it’s just for a little amount of time. You never complained but rather cherished this moment, this moment enough to be reminisced about in the future.
The movie started rolling the credits as you’re thrilled and intrigued about the story to the point that you didn’t realize that Hayoung was up to something.
“Hayoung-ah… Hayo-”
Before you could continue your second call, you noticed that Hayoung was sleeping soundly and peacefully, so you turned off the television with the remote. You could just adore her flawless features as you’re in awe again.
“I guess this is where I go… Happy birthday, my sunshine.”
You smiled as you tuck her hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead, gesturing a ‘goodnight’ signal to her. As you’re getting ready and facing the opposite to hers, to your surprise, a hand stops you from going as you can see a drowsy Hayoung pleading with you to not go.
“Please stay, Oppa…” her saccharine tone is soft, so soft that it tempts you to not go and just to be by her side until the morning.
“I may disturb all of you and we can meet tom-”
You were shushed by her sudden kiss on the cheeks as her eyes pleaded you to not go, for the second time.
“Please??”
How can you not resist her? With all of the doubts, you stayed and Hayoung regained some energy, just enough to squeal in delight, again.
“Should we sleep somewhere else?”
“Let’s just sleep here, Oppa. I have a blanket by my side.”
“Okay then. Happy Birthday again, Hayoung-ah…”
“Thank you Oppa. Good night.”
“Good night sunshine…”
As your sunshine closed her eyes, magically your eyes closed too as you felt drowsy on how tired you are. This may not be the best of all bonds you’ve been with Hayoung but it’s always special whenever you’re with her, and that’s what matters.
Twenty-five. A number signifying a quarter of a hundred yet there’s no measurement on how much you love her. Another year was added as there’s more to count, to bond with her and to make limitless memories with her. She’s your everything and you’re happy to be with her, until the end.
---
A/N 2: Happy 25th birthday again to the most adorable raccoon, Hayoung! Also, if you're reading this, thank you for the 800-follower milestone! I appreciate everyone of you and love y'all! <3

Yeah some drinking here.
Part 2 of trilogy
Tumblr media
You walk into a pub. Tired from a study week. College has been tough and all you want to do is relax. Then you go to relax at your favorite watering hole with an ice-cold beer and just enjoy the ambiance. The bartender comes up to you and hands you your drink.
“Long day?”
“Yup! Long week even. And it ain't even finals week.”
“With your eye bags, you need to relax.”
You chug down half your drink. “That’s for my paper due on Monday.” You swig once more to finish the drink. “That’s for the same prof giving a paper due today. Another please.”
As soon as you request, the bartender fills another glass and passes it to you. Then as you start to drink your beer, a woman appears, her hair all messed up like she was rushing her way here.
She shouts. “Sir, one shot of soju please.” He quickly places a shot glass and fills it with a bottle of soju.
She raises it in the air. “Fuck you sir!” and as she says it, she drinks it all. Her eyes cringe and her mouth puckers from the drink.
“You failed a test?” The bartender asks.
“Yes.” She almost sobs “I hate the teacher. I hate this subject. I wish I didn’t enroll in it.” She grabs the ID on her neck and slams it on the table and repetitively smacks it with her fist.
“Just let it all out. Better if you do so.” You remark.
“Wait first. Mr bartender another shot and YOU! Mister who are you to say what I should do.”
Another shot arrives and she takes it in. She grins at your face and waits for you to respond.
“Hey,…..” You try to peek over her shoulder at the ID and try to see her name. “Hey….Jiheon, Just calm down. I have been in the same situation as you.”
“What do you mean the same situation as me?! You don’t know what it is like from being a high school honor student to now a failure.”
“I was an honor student. A valedictorian even and now I’m just surviving. It’s just part of college.”
Jiheon turns away and goes back to her third shot of soju. “I guess. I need to accept my fate.” She stretches her arms then takes her shot.
You look at her with pity, a freshman first knowing what’s college like. Then you go to the bartender. “One glass for her.”
He drafts another beer and hands it over to Jiheon. “Thanks…” Jiheon then sits up. “Wait…what year are you?”
“Fourth.”
“Ah! Sorry.” She stands up from the bar stool and bows to you. “Sorry, Sunbaenim.”
You wave her off. “Just.. don’t call me sunbaenim. Sounds too awkward.”
“So….what do you want me to call you, Sunbae?”
“How about just Oppa?”
“Oppa? Sure. I don’t really have any friends around here.”
“No problem then.” You extend your hand for a handshake.
She takes it. “I’m Jiheon. But you already know that.”
“Now Jiheon, aside from getting drunk and cursing at your professor. Is there anything else you want to do?”
“Ice cream?”

give me saerom as your gf PLEASE, i just recently got into fromis n i am in love with her<3
saerom as your gf ˖ ࣪⭑
Tumblr media
a/n: thanks for requesting dear! you're actually my first request so this is exciting. thanks for being patient ^^
how did you meet?
picture this. you're knee deep into midterms, and you decide to go to a cafe nearby for some much needed motivation. you make yourself comfortable, and after setting up your little corner, you go to order a warm latte.
you love this cafe since it's nearby and know the staff like your own family. so it's that much more surprising when an unfamiliar face is the one to take your order today.
you're worried she might not be able to get your usual order right, but she prepares it perfectly, maybe just a little bit sweeter.
her soft voice and gentle gaze puts you at ease, and you smile knowing that you'll be seeing more of her this week.
you try and ask one of your friends, jiwon, who works at that cafe who the new girl is but she won't budge, "i want you two to fall in love naturally." "i can't love her if i don't know anything besides her name!" "here's her number. i'll tell her it's for school." "THANK YOU SO MUCH JIWON YOURE THE BEST."
you two end up speaking more over text, and the rest is history!
how does she love?
saerom is the type to quietly look over your shoulder; carefully scanning your face for any signs of discomfort or anything you might need. you sometimes joke that she's a mind reader, she'll give you what you need before you even realize you need it.
she's very touchy but you would never know that. she'd find ways to get you to initiate you touching her without having to deal with your teasing.
come night time however and she's entirely different. the haze settling over her mind allows her to forget her self proclaimed shy girl status. she'll snuggle into your arms to warm herself up and get herself comfy in bed. she loves cuddling into your side while you tell her about your day. she'll occasionally chime in with her own little quips which make you giggle.
saerom won't tell you but feeling your belly rise and fall in response to her joke is one of the best feelings in the world to her.
if you go to school or work, saerom will be up early to pack you a home-made lunch. she loves seeing you smile in response to her food, and even if she's not there to see it, the thought is enough for her.
she'd also write a little joke on a sticky note for you to read later from time to time. her sense of humor is one of your favorite things about her.
arguments.
both you and saerom generally aren't argumentative people, but every once in a while you'll have a fight.
it's usually because of a mistake done, and it wasn't followed up with an apology or an unwillingness to change.
saerom is a patient person and sometimes a lot of people (unknowingly) take that for granted. she won't let things slide the first time, and will let you know she doesn't appreciate that behavior, but having that same argument every time would tire her.
say you can't stop using her beauty products. her stuff are your stuff, and saerom generally doesn't have a problem with that because she uses your stuff too, but she explicitly told you to not touch her medicated facial wash.
it's expensive, and she doesn't want you to use medicinal stuff unless it was prescribed to you too; you don't need it after all, and she needs it more than you.
saerom notices her bottle getting lighter and lighter by the day, and regardless of every time she lectures you, and every apology you issue, the behavior isn't changing.
eventually her face wash is down to the last couple pumps, and she's at the end of her rope. she calls you over to the bathroom in tears and begs and pleads with you to stop using her facewash.
she's tired of having this conversation with you and feeling taken advantage of. she feels unheard.
you pull her into a hug, sad that you made her feel this way. you've been waking up early to work, and in your sleepiness you grab her face wash instead of yours. it's all excuses of course, but you swear to her that this will never happen again (and it didn't!) and that you'll be compensating her for the money lost.

LAST YEAR – Sunday, October 23.
You were never opposed to a nice Halloween party. Lots of thematic drinks, stupid boys dressed as Ghostface trying to explore knife kinks, and girls going all out with their glitter make-up and tinsel in their hair for the optimal fairy costume.
You loved a good Halloween party, music blasting out of the speakers that were stolen from the AV Club by the softer version of the Beta Tau Omega brothers. Dancing with strangers in sweat-soaked facades, and waking up with smeared face paint all over your neck and shoulders from whatever disguised hook-up you'd taken home that night.
Last night's rager had to have been one for the books, because you have no idea how you ended up in this absolute mess of a bedroom – owned by none other than your close friend, Kwon Soonyoung. The same Kwon Soonyoung who also happens to TA the class you've put off taking for the last two years, and are set to start taking the upcoming spring semester.
The same Kwon Soonyoung that was related to the wife of the Dean, and the same Kwon Soonyoung that showed up everywhere stoned or ready to get stoned. The very same Kwon Soonyoung that made infused pre-rolls and edibles for nearly the entire campus…for free. Even you could see that was a horrible business call, and you were a Science major.
Soonyoung who helped people sneak kittens into their dorm rooms and make homes for them under lofted beds. Soonyoung, who taught a dance class and self-defense class back to back, so he was never free until after nine at night. Soonyoung who made hanging out seem like he was trying to get into your pants because he was just naturally flirtatious (and somehow, still absolutely bitchless.)
Soonyoung who you've kissed twice since meeting him two years ago, both times at Halloween parties hosted by his stupid fraternity. Soonyoung, who has had his hand up your skirt twice before someone interrupts you by asking if he has any weed at hand. He always does, and it's always in his car or his bedroom. He always goes, and a part of you, no matter how into it you may be, knows it's for the best. He keeps his circle small, of friends that is. You were added to the mix sometime after your first Halloween party (and first kiss together) your  freshman year, when he slammed into you in the middle of the economics hallway, breaking your laptop in the process. He'd felt so bad he took you to Best Buy that same night and shelled out two grand for a new one and even invited you out to lunch the next day.
He did not remember making out at all. To be fair, neither did you until the digital photos came back and he texted you a picture of the two of you kissing against the Beta Tau insignia on the wall. You were so embarrassed you avoided him for a week after, but he quickly forced you out of your dorm for a movie night. The two of you became fast friends, bonding over silly little things and enjoying each other's company – but it didn't stop the rumors from flying that you were a freshman stealing a guy from the sophomores.
You remember that he adamantly denied any and every dating rumor flung your way, and even went as far as distancing himself from you for a bit – but when you tried to pull the same move he had earlier that year, he said maybe it was best for the two of you to remain friends from a distance. You didn't speak to him for the rest of the year, choosing to spend your time with friends your age and even dating a transfer student named Yuta Nakamoto, who was also in Soonyoung's year.
When word got around, Soonyoung was pissed – but didn't attempt to rekindle your friendship. He still followed you on Instagram, and still felt a bit of anger puddle in his stomach as he liked photo after photo of the two of you together, biting his tongue at the empty smile you held by his side.
This continued well into summer, and he saw the two of you take a trip to Jeju Island together, before breaking up the following week. Soonyoung heard from your friend, Nagyung, that he was transferring back and neither of you wanted to try long-distance.
The following school year, he watched as you got recruited by sorority after sorority – eventually joining his frat's sister sorority, Alpha Sigma Delta. You hardly had to rush, the girls actively pushing you to pledge and you were far too nice to say no.
You saw him again for the first time at the Halloween party planning, when you and your fellow pledges were tasked with helping the frat pledges in hauling in liquor. You weren't very happy about it, but Soonyoung whisked you away without a word from you, telling everyone that he needed your help with a certain task.
That task? "Can we talk?"
And you did. You talked, and talked, and talked. He even left at one point to get drinks for the two of you, returning to you fishing through his bag of pre-rolls for the ones infused with lemon balm. He smiled, telling you they were in his car, and you rolled your eyes at it.
You kissed at that party, too. It went further this time – the two of you on Seungcheol's balcony. The idea had been to go up to the roof and get crossed, but it seems a rather tipsy Soonyoung had other ideas. You didn't mind it, in fact you encouraged it – you slipped his hand up your latex dress, you let him slip your panties down your legs. "Hey, Hoshi! Do you have any pre-rolls?!"
Just as he'd started undoing his pants.
"Fuck, I'm sorry baby."
"It's fine."
You passed out in his bedroom that time, too tired to go back to the sorority house with your sisters. You got out of clean-up, and Soonyoung left you a kimbap roll and an electrolyte drink on his nightstand, with a note asking how you got there 'haha.'
It hadn't been fine. Again, neither of you remembered this happening until digitals were printed. And it was freshman year all over again – except this time, Soonyoung stuck around. Soonyoung defended you tooth and nail, and even dropped a few of his friends that bad-mouthed you. When you asked him about it, he shrugged, "Nothing wrong with kissing your friends every once in a while." So, here you are. Again.
The third year in a row you and your stupid friend have made out, and somehow, you're in his bed. There's no other explanation as for why your underwear is across the room, hanging off his lamp and why his head is gently laying on your chest. There's literally no other explanation.
"Soonyoung." You rasp, patting his cheek. He doesn't stir, but pouts into your bare breast. "Soonyoung." You speak louder, shaking him slightly as he peels open one of his eyes.
"Yeah?" It takes him a moment to realize that it's you, sprinkled with glitter from his eye look last night and practically doused in his saliva.
"Oh, fuck." He just furrows his brows, rolling off your chest with a groan. He sits up at the edge of the bed, surveying the room before realizing he's got no pants on. "Son of a bitch. Did we…Yup. Yup, it's right there." His painted fingernails point at the discarded condom atop his dresser, flung hastily in a half-asleep attempt, most likely. You sigh, letting your head fall back on your pillow with a hmph. He does the same, his fingers only reaching up slightly to close the blinds with a jerk of the liftcord.
"You think it was good?" You ask with a small smile, and he snorts. "It was with you, I doubt it would've been bad."
Silence permeates the air again, before he sees your bare bottom half also covered in glitter. You have a tattoo on your hip that you didn't have when you first met. It's a stick-and-poke kitten. "Nice tattoo." "Thanks, I got it on Jeju Island." "When you and Yuta went?" "Yup." "Cool." He sits up, peering down at you with tired eyes. "What'd you see in that guy, anyway?"
"Hm?" "Yuta." "Oh. You want the truth?" It's like being nude in front of each other isn't a big deal. It's like having slept together after years of being in limbo means nothing. It's all so normal, the way you allow him to practically eye fuck you.
"I was sad you stopped being my friend." He blinks at you, watching the way you carefully pick at a thread loose in his comforter. You pull it out, discarding it behind you with a soft smile. "Does that answer your question?" "You fucked another guy because I stopped being your friend?" He asks incredulously, and you shrug. "Not just, but it was a large reason."
"You lost your virginity to him." His eyes are wide, and you shrug once more, nodding your head. "Yup." "Did he make you cum?" "Soonyoung-" "Did he?"
You sigh, patting his comforter. "Not the first couple of times, no. He got better at it, though. It was decent."
Nodding, he clears his throat.
"Do you think I-" "Maybe. I don't know. I don't remember much, just the Pink Whitney Mingyu gave me." "Mingyu does love his Pink Whitney." You flip onto your back again, staring at the glow-in-the-dark stars on his ceiling. Tucking your hands behind your head, you speak again. "Do you think I went down on you?" "There's lipstick on my tip." "What color?" "Uhh…wine red." You wipe a finger across your bottom lip, the small amount of residue a bloody, Cabernet red. "Hm. Checks out."
The air feels…comfortable.
"Wanna shower?" "Yeah." "Can I shower with you?" "Yeah, Soonie."
The two of you stretch simultaneously, before rolling to the side of the bed and standing up. He grabs the discarded condom off the dresser, holding it like a used tissue and taking it to the bin. You dig through his dresser for a towel, and he fishes out something for you to wear.
"Boxers okay?" "Hm, I prefer briefs." "On me or on you?" "Your underwear choices are your business." He holds up a pair of Spiderman briefs. You bite back your laugh and nod silently, extending your hand for them.
He disappears into his bathroom, flickering lights on and turning the shower head on. "Hot?" "Boiling." "Got it."
The both of you get in, and you close your eyes as the water pelts your back. Soonyoung says nothing as he moves your hair off your shoulders and away from your face, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "You should've asked me." He mumbles, reaching for the shampoo in the caddy behind you. Peeling your eyes open, you look up at him with a confused stare. "Asked you for what?" He shrugs, holding the shampoo bottle upside down over his hand and squirting some out. "I would've made you cum the first time." You snort, shoving his chest lightly. "Yeah, well…you didn't. It's fine." "This isn't weird to you?" "What? Showering together?" "After fucking, yeah." "Could be worse." "How?" "I could be that girl you've been flirting with since last year, wondering when you're going to text her back." "Who? Yujin?" "Yeah." "I'm not flirting with her, what made you think that?" "Stolen glances, flirty touches, you give her pre-rolls all the time." He rolls his eyes as he cards his fingers through your hair, his dull nails scrubbing your scalp gently. Your eyes flutter shut, and he huffs. "I give everyone pre-rolls." "Because you're a horrible business magnate."
"No, because I'm nice." You smile without opening your eyes, your hands reaching out to touch his chest. His body feels good under your fingertips, you realize. "Are you mad you don't remember any of it?" "Furious." He mutters, gently tilting your head back to wash the soap out. You can't see the way he's looking at the sweet slope of your neck, just barely making out small nips of his teeth across your throat. Your necklace hangs nicely. The rest of the shower remains silent, as he carefully washes you before himself. His attention to detail is insane, the way his fingers hold the washcloth taut so he can feel every inch of you. He has to commit this to memory.
After, you're drying your hair with a random t-shirt he gave you. He remembers you told him that towels can be too rough for your hair texture sometimes. It's only when you're brushing your teeth with a brand new toothbrush he pulled from his cabinets that he speaks. "Let me change my bedsheets." "Don't wanna lay in the sin of fucking your friend, do ya?" The navy blue sheets are quickly replaced by ones with light grey ditsy floral print, and his comforter is shoved off and replaced by a few throw blankets. He watches as you change his pillowcases, only looking away when he hears his phone ping.
Msg From: Cheol [9:32am] hosh [9:32am] who is the girl in ur room and is she missing a pair of cat ears
"What was your costume last night?" He asks, and you snort. "I was a sexy witch." He smiles to himself as he picks up his phone.
Msg To: Cheol [9:33am] not missing a pair of cat ears [9:34am] and it's y/n
Your head snaps up when you hear a pair of feet thundering up the stairs, followed by silence. You give him an odd look, only to hear excited giggles down the hall and the pitter-patter of two adult men coming towards Soonyoung's room. You cross your arms as you hear the door creak open, an expectant look on your face as Jeonghan and Seungcheol's noses appear through the crack. "Hey, Y/N. Fancy seeing you here." Jeonghan remarks sweetly, and you just roll your eyes.
"He wasn't bluffing." He whispers to Seungcheol, receiving an annoyed huff from Soonyoung. "If you're done intruding on my personal business, I'd appreciate it if you left. The pledges still need to clean up last night's mess." Jeonghan gives you a wry look. "Can I say something and you don't get upset?" "If it's about sex, I will punch you in that pretty face of yours." You say pointedly, fluffing the pillow in your hand before throwing it onto his bed. Jeonghan purses his lips, nodding before sliding out from under Seungcheol. He nods his head, a satisfied look on his face. "Have a good…don't fuck too loud, okay?" Soonyoung barely misses Seungcheol's face with the charger he throws across the room, his giggle being heard in the hallway as he barrels down the stairs.
"Idiots." He huffs, running a hand through his damp hair as you flop onto the bed. "You don't mind if I stay here a bit? My head's killing me."
He lays down next to you, a sigh escaping his lips.
"You okay, Soonie?" Turning only his head, he scans your face. Tired eyes lined with thick lashes, plump lips covered by the Aquaphor in his bathroom. Slightly unkempt brows and your shoulder tattoo peeking out from the collar of his shirt on your frame.
"Kitty?" You grimace at the pet name, one he christened you with when the two of you met. He'd been dressed up as a cowboy, and dancing with a skeleton that was stolen from the comparative anatomy students (with the help of Junhui, of course.) He also had a lit joint between his fingers, one that sprinkled ash over your newly healed shoulder tattoo and made you yelp in pain.
"Shit, I'm sorry, kitty." He quickly put it out in a nearby ashtray, dusting your shoulder of any ash residue. "It's fine, it's fine. Just…can I get a hit?"
"Yeah?" He sits up, leaning against his bed frame before looking down at you.  "Would it be weird if I asked to try again?"
You glance up at him, an amused smile playing on your lips. "Try what again, exactly?"
He clears his throat, a beet red blush coating his cheeks. "You said Yuta didn't make you cum. And we don't know if I made you cum. So…can I have a redemption round?"
You've sat up at this point, a small laugh falling from your lips as you push your hair back, "You want to fuck me?"
"I can just go down on you, if, uh…if that's what you'd prefer." He stutters, mentally cursing himself. You glance at him, eyes scanning his face. "And we're still friends after this? You won't dump me?"
"I won't. I promise. Cross my heart, kitty." He holds his pinky finger out, insinuating you link yours. Sighing, you do just that. "Fine. Hop to, I want breakfast."
