Color palette requests over on Twitter that i did months ago! I was gonna wait until I did them all to post them all at once, but I don't think I'm going to finish the remaining requests any time soon, so I'm posting what I have! :)

Had a dream that Aiger had a strong distaste for the colour magenta and that Phi changed his bey's colour just to piss him off.

So at some point Phi's drinking from his (magenta) cup and Aiger gets upset about it, approaching him with a remark about how magenta was more Suoh's thing.

To which Fubuki responds while stopping him from going any further, "I don't think Suoh cares about the colour of a cup."

You know the drill - Fubuki is irritated that Odysseus got away from him, so now it’s time for Round 2. I wonder who will win…

All right, so I think about… three days ago, Beyburst officially ended. And I’mma be a bit nitpicky, so if you’re not feeling it, don’t read this! I’m also mostly going to be talking about the Turbo characters. xD

So, first of all, I’m happy that we actually got to see some of the gangs from the first three seasons! :Dc It’s a lot better than not getting to see them, after all, and it’s nice to know that at least for a few frames, they were let out of the beysment. (Pun’s a courtesy of one of my best friends, Dani-Phantom. She’s got amazing stories on Wattpad if anyone wants to read, by the way!)

But now I’m gonna get into what I don’t really like. XD

Okay, so it definitely makes sense that the past characters weren’t given redesigns or more screentime—this is the ending episode, so why would they be? The importance wasn’t on them anymore. But from a story perspective, I just… really don’t like how it looks like time stood still for them even though YEARS have passed. And also, it makes me sad that it seems like Hyde hasn’t gotten Hades back seeing as he’s still lost his throne to Phi and just has a stepstool. ):

Overall, it just didn’t feel satisfactory for me. I’m most interested in Turbo, which as we all know, was a majorly flawed season with good characters, so what bothers me the most is that most characters’ arcs weren’t exactly resolved, or we weren’t given enough screentime to SEE that they were, and then we never got another season to see them again.

Fubuki, for example, just up and left for nine episodes, and when we saw him again, we just got a flashback telling us that he realized he stopped having fun blading and that was what was dragging him down. We didn’t get to see exactly how he felt about his friend/co-captain betraying him, we just got little snippets that implied how he felt.

Suoh’s arc was also left unfinished, because after the cruise, he didn’t get enough screentime for us to see how he’d improved upon himself. He just stayed the same… and yet he and Fubuki somehow became friends again. Things happening off-screen don’t count. Dx

(I’m also frustrated that we didn’t get to see Toko have an arc, either, when he could have had a great one. Toko’s thing is that he tries being like other people he perceives as strong to BE strong, but he doesn’t realize that he just needs to be himself. That realization is supposedly what gets Treptune to resonate with him, and for Fubuki to pass on the title of Beigoma Academy Bey Club Captain to him, but do we see how he came to that realization? Nope!)

The ending of Beyburst didn’t feel satisfactory for me because not everyone got their stuff resolved, but it feels like the show is trying to act like they did. And also, I feel like the past/not focused-on characters have been done dirty by them only getting what are basically screenshots.

okay so uhh, I don’t have that many head cannons for both of them, but if it looks like I do, it’s just because I type a lot to get my point across. Sorry. But enough said:

Fubuki:

Okay for first of bro’s family and in turn bro is broke has heck. The way that his room looked in that one scene of turbo reminded me of how a room of someone that was broke. I’m sorry but it’s true. Fubuki is poor. He looks like he is poor. And knowing Fubuki, he isn’t looking poor just because of the aesthetic

Fubuki and Suoh have been put together to do countless group projects since half the time they had the same classes.

Due to visiting Suoh and as such, Suoh’s house so much, Fubuki has secretly grown to love the smell of flowers

After Turbo, Fubuki returned to Japan briefly to finish the school year there before fully going to America. He always comes to visit the beyclub from time to time though (everyone’s like “OMG. FUBUKI’S HERE!!” When he comes to visit. Some people are crazy enough to bring party popers or roll out the red carpet or something.)

Fubuki, ironically enough, does not like bananas.

He likes teaching younger kids that are in the raging bulls all the tricks he had learned (beyblade related or not). He just finds it fun.

He may be the designated shu kurenai of his season, but his report card says otherwise (instead of it being above average… itd average. As Suoh says “he’s the hard worker and I’m the genius”, or some sh*t like that)

Fubuki and Suoh OBVIOUSLY made up after the events of turbo. Bc c’mon. Why not.

Arman:

My man likes to garden. Or literal anything that has to do with plants. I guess my man just likes plants period.

In a way he’s much like Shu but like a more responsible, less impulsive version of him. By that I mean basically is that he will be the most responsible person in the room if he HAS to be, because I aslo feel that that’s something that Shu would do (except that Arman would do this without pulling a stupid and getting himself caught up in his own snakepit mess)

He probably likes classical music, but Japanese classical music specifically (listen to it guys. It WILL blow your socks off)

He’s that one nice yet overprotective brother, not just to Taka, but to EVERYONE (okay except Arthur due to obvious reasons)

(Due to the fact that in the manga Gwyn kind of broke his bey) I feel like Arman was suspicious of Gwyn when he saw him initially (like In a “what’s this guy doing here” *pause* “this guy that’s…up to NO GOOD-“ kinda way)

He likes gold accessories. Not because of the way he acts, but because of a thing that happened in a dream I had about him…hee hee… 🤭

Everyone keeps telling him that he looks like gon from hunter x hunter and he is so done. (Don’t tell him that unless you want the biggest bombastic side eye of your life)

If you do get on his good side though he’ll be the most loyal piece of sh*t you have seen in your entire time though. This is my pro tip for you, whatever you plan to do with that.

If you do betray him though, after the initial betrayal, he’ll hate you forever. There is two sides of this Arman , so be careful not to betray him.

(but even though Gwyn kinda did betray him (& the rest of the victories) they have made up and now they’re cool, so forgiveness IS possible)

Fubuki:

✨8.5/10✨. He was a great charather, great guy. The writers did him great justice…although much like other turbo characters, he was only revelant for the only first half of the season. I liked him a normal amount. He was there, he’s chill and cool with the kids, what else could you ask for??? Like- seriously??? His character and personality was nailed perfectly too, and the fact that he didn’t instantly become buddy buddy with Aiger is perfect. Kudos to the writers and the handling of this charather. Only reasons not a 9/10 or a 10/10 is bc 1) he’s not my fav character like ever ever and 2) I just like Arman better lol

Arman:

Solid ✨9/10✨. At first I found it funny that we didn’t have a Kiyama for Dante and instead this guy, but when his own unique personality set in that wasn’t just another copy paste Kiyama or copy paste Shu Kurenai, I was so impressed. I don’t think that Dante could have worked as a character if he had a Kiyama, so I’m glad that Arman filled in that void instead. He was so cool too. The fact that he kept it together most of the time but sometimes had moments were a more silly side of him poked out worked PERFECTLY. And DONT get me STARTED about how he pulls out those goofy looking glasses and begins analyzing stuff. I just like that sh*t. Only reason that he isn’t a full on 10/10 is bc I like other characters above him. Sorry Arman 😓.

So I've been thinking about my best boy Fubuki a lot (as usual-) and I have decided to come up with a list of headcanons that have been stuck on my head and yay content-

• Extremly good swimmer. He has competed in several swimming competitions and gotten a high score in each of them.

• Did not want to be the captain of the Beyclub, and actually proposed Suoh should've been, but then the Aoi twins asked him to do it, and he felt kinda obliged to-

• Bookworm, just won't accept it. He's a complete sucker for mystery and investigation, and has read several romance novels.

• Likes sitcoms, just in general, rom-coms and everything; it's his first option in a Saturday movie night.

• Literally no instincts of self-preservation. Like, actually just none.

• Speaks several languages, although he's only mastered in two: Japanese and English.

• On that note, he's also studied Spanish, Italian and a little bit of French.

• A sucker for Greek mythology. His favourite hero is Odysseus, and his favourite Godess is Athena.

• Big fan of AJR, Mother Mother, Aerosmith and Queen.

• Practiced boxing a couple times when he was younger, but didn't really lead anywhere and he got bored of it.

• Daily calls literally anyone. Before their fight, it was mostly Suoh, but after that, Shu became his first contact.

• Also definitely not found brothers with Shu. No. Nope. Nu-uh. Not in the slightest... but yes, found brothers with Shu.

• LOVES videogames. His favorites are The Last of Us I, Resident Evil and Little Nightmares.

• Will destroy you if you dare to call him 'Buki, unless you are his dad, Shu, or the Aoi twins.
