Purple is for Emperors- 76k words folks and the longest thing I’ve written. AU where they are mutants but almost everyone aligns as Dom or sub. The Dom might not be who you expect and might not engage with their sub as you might expect. A lot of smut and fun and humour BUT also sorrow and terrible things. Cherik wins thru in the end.

Need Help: Cherik Fandom

So feels like a long time but before early 2023 I was reading a fic, think it was an older fic...muti chapter about university Erik having to transfer to many schools because he has been facing harassment for being a mutant, there had been instances where he had responded with violence...so he's transferred to another university and becomes roommates with Charles...they are slow to bond with but eventually they started bonding over chess as usual lol does anyone recall this? I checked my history and it seems work have boxes of deleted work. I dunno how long I had the tab open on my phone with this fic because it's a long fic and filled with angst so had to take breaks reading it lol

I think this is one of the most known fics in the fandom? Masterpiece, literally masterpiece. The improvement in Erik's character is beautiful and it breaks your heart how Charles is treated poorly for the first few chapters but continues to work hard because he believes Erik and the kids are his family. I love how the ending isn't rushed and how Charles is like, "Yes I love you but you still hurt me and I can't get over it so quickly." Tears. So many tears for this story.
