because nova is going to be spending the summer with us to recover from top surgery, we've been playing animal crossing together on my switch, so every day i get to see what hes added to his home or the island... now forrest is joining us too!!!! i feel so happy, it reminds me of when i lived with my siblings and we did the same. i missed sharing

every year my city has a Burger Week and you get a passport that lists all the burgers in town special for that week only and if you eat the burger at the restaurant they'll stamp your passport and you turn it in for prizes. burger hopping restaurants is a thing I have done

Got to stop by a spot called Hass in Gainesville, FL and it was Real Real good. A little pricey for what you get but I had a bulgogi chicken kimchi grilled cheese (subbed in gruyere instead of American) and a creme brulee latte. The gimmick is that basically everything has avocado and my meal came with an avocado-dressed salad and it was very good. The grilled-cheesiness of mine was questionable though because while it was super buttery and Texas-toasty and delicious, it also fell apart basically instantly.

Matcha Espresso Fusion.

A drink I didn't know I needed.

No surprise there.

I love green tea the same way I love dark coffee.

The perfect mix of colors, the grassy verdance of the matcha and the beigeness of the coffee created some inventive olive green. A revitalizing stain in the paper cup.

The right balance of calm and palpitation, of soothing and alerting, of freshness and heaviness.

As if, the beverage is saying, "You can rest but you can't sleep".

Outside, it's rainy, busy and cold.

Whereas inside, it's warm and calming though narrow.

"Live everyday gradually", that's what I wrote on the cafe's whiteboard while waiting for my order. The last word is barely readable because I scribbled in haste.

The light on my table only lit up when I was halfway through my latte. The vendor forget to do so but it's still fine to me.

Dwelling in my thoughts while reading something virtually.

I'll just savor the coffee now and worry about sugars later.
