Ngl your reblogs of Maria Clara at Ibarra makes me want to check it out, even though I remember zero things about El Fili and Noli me Tangere😂

This series grew on me too. I wouldn't have touched it with a stick if my then grade 9 cousin didnt force me to watch it with her 😂 (coz smh it was popular with her class, and my cousin knew that i was the biggest rizal fan and that i wouldn't shut up when anyone asked me about anything rizal)

The whole isekai/transmigration trope took a while to get used to coz holysht the cringe.

But seeing how good the characters were played by the actors was worth it. Them embodying the mannerisms, speech and fashions of the time period made me remember that these people are hardworking, talented and amazing.

Many scenes made me tear up and laugh and applaud. It was great. The writing was awesome. And the production went all out.

Plus oh man the costumes and aesthetics were on point.

But most of all.... it gave me the courage to pick up and read my copy of noli me tangere and el filibusterismo again after almost 20 years of getting over from the shock of reading those stories for the first time in highschool.

And bonus na din kasi natutunan ko mga millenial/genZ tagalog slang lol

Earthquakes

Returning to that vision, many of those celebrities that will attend this Satanic Temple in Manila will all die when an earthquake strikes it. The other buildings will be affected, but not as badly as the Satanic Temple. Unfortunately, to those of you who are KPop fans, all your favourite idols will die in this disaster. Many Philippine actors and entertainers will die as well, including those working for ABS-CBN and GMA7.

It would be even more horrifying if many celebrities from other countries attend this, only to die in the same horrifying way as everybody else. The Philippines will host East Asia's first Satanic Temple, but one that will be undermined by a serious earthquake. Those who go there either by curiosity or by sincere interest will also die, God will use this earthquake to punish those follow the Devil more. Not only that but God will revoke American influence here, only to be subsequently/consequently replaced by a heavier Chinese influence.

No more American holidays, no more English spoken and used in the Philippines. Filipinos will be bilingual in Mandarin and Tagalog from then on, practising Chinese ways and customs for years on end.

NOONTIME SHAKE UP

Pinanood ko yung 3 shows na to ngayong araw at ito observation ko:

1. EAT BULAGA (TAPE - GMA7)

Recently napansin ko na di na nila ginagamit yung word na DABARKADS. KAPUSO na ang tawag nila sa mga audience. To think na TAPE is not GMA. Naalala ko nga nun na pag may winner sa EB at nagpasalamat sa GMA ay tinatapalan nila ng "salamat daw Jimmy (Santos). Napanood ko rin nung isang araw na guest sa Abra. Ako nahiya dun sa sinabi nyang MADLANG... PILIPINAS. Tas yung show nila ay halos puro pamimigay ng malalaking papremyo online at sa live audience. Kinongrats ni paolo ang its showtime at si yorme naman nagcongrats sa TVJ.

2. TVJ ( TV5)

Nakabalik na nga ang mga alamat. Isang buwan din silang nabuild up ng PEP, RAPPLER, TV5 at ibang social media accounts. Maliit lang studio nila kaya puro family and friends lang audience. Nangangapa pa sila kaya pati yung laugh effect ay naninibago ako. Yung skit nila sa karinderya ay mala bulagaan. Medyo nakornihan ako lalo na dun sa interpretation ng anak na madalas ng ginagawa ni Jose at Wally. Ilang beses ko ng napanood. Yun namang sa sipol na pinipitik ng goma ay napanood ko sa japanese sa tiktok. Sasabihin niyo naman na ang hirap kong pasayahin.

3. IT'S SHOWTIME (ABS - GTV)

Pasabog yung opening. Di ko naisip na pwedeng magsama yung kapamilya at kapuso artist. Ako yung nakakaramdam ng awkwardness sa kanila. Pero syempre, hanapbuhay at negosyo yan. Nagulat lang ako kasi kinat yung show ng 3pm na at di nakapag paalam ng maayos ang it's showtime. Unang araw palang may ganun na agad na nangyari.

Voltes V Legacy!!!!!

I'm late sharing this but better late than never.

The mega trailer is finally here and the show will be aired on the second quarter of 2023!! I'm so excited! This is a very important milestone for Philippine TV. Kudos to GMA7.

Just an opinion: this series is canned. Meaning they already wrapped up shooting the scenes a long time ago before airing and all that's left is polishing the CGI effects. Something that they don't normally do for a series. Usually a series is aired even though the production is still on going allowing the writers, directors, and the producers to make changes to the story depending on the audience's reaction. If the viewers love the show, they can extend it and what was supposed to be 90 episodes aired daily will become 100-200 episodes. Sometimes this works, sometimes this ruins the show. For me at least. But this kind of method doesn't really work for shows that rely heavily on CGI. Airing a show that needs CGI while production is still on going puts so much strain on the artists involved in the visual effects. They would not have the time and the budget that they needed to polish the special effects for the show. Kinda like what happened to another GMA7 show. The CGI went downhill as the show progressed. I know this will not happen to Voltes V Legacy as Toei was said to have kept a close eye on the project. I hope that in the future, if the networks in the country produces more shows that relies on CGI, that they would actually invest both time and money for it. Perhaps, finish production first and give the time that the artists needed to give their best work and not put them on a choke-hold that forces them to give a what we call "puchu-puchu" project.

i dont think they get the point of time-travel/transmigration

once a character goes to a timeline that is not their own, then they will change things little by little whether they like it or not.

that was the entire essence of klay's role in the already finished stories.

(also fidel barely made ripples in the narrative until either klay or ibarra proddded him)

(that was the effect of klay being dropped into their world)

(fidel would have remained a NPC unless he was pulled into the narrative by klay)

Satanists in Philippine television

It's going to sound weird but there are Satanists working on Philippine television programmes and it's going to get more blatant in the future, especially when it comes to certain matters like LGBT and the occult. There are some Satanic symbols in some programmes, as well as condoning things and activities God forbids Christians. In the future, they will do this to engage Philippine youth.

Making them disobedient, so on and so forth that this will be a real epidemic in the future, if it weren't for these people. But that's not all as I think The Walt Disney Company Philippines will unleash a Satanic programme where it seems so nice and appealing, until you realise it's Satanist through and through. Condoning the things the Bible abhors like LGBT, witchcraft and disobedience.

Even GMA7, TV5 and the like will get into the act to engage Philippine youths, where it's going to be evidently the case with all those Satanists working to corrupt the Philippine population with. It's going to get more and more obvious, where their evil intentions will be slowly revealed in time.
