this post Inspired me to draw this. Because Temperance (and all the Gale-mancing Tav's, I'm sure) just wants to let this man to know he's loved and valued and goddamn it hand kisses are high romance and the kind of kiss I'm capable of drawing

i personally HC gale's bodytype as Recently Skinny. in the way where you lose a lot of weight in a short space of time, so you end up looking a little haunted, a little sickly, a little grey, the skin just a bit looser than usual. i just dont think gale took care of himself properly during his year of isolation, and the weight, both from that, and probably also from stress, just fell off him really quickly.

now POST-game gale, provided he stays alive and stays human? now THAT gale has chunk. most grabbable man in faerûn. especially when romanced, he's indulging with his partner in this, that, the next thing. complicated, high fat, high protein dishes he spends all day preparing. full-bodied wines and spirits to sip on as you watch the sun set together on his balcony. he seems like a chocolate dipping kind of guy. strawberries being the classic, ofc. he's the type of guy to wiggle his fingers and say 'dont mind if i do' when you offer him something sweet. he spent so long in isolation, he's spending the rest of his life making sure you're both indulged in every pleasure life has to offer.

his cheeks fill, his skin looks brighter, his hair shines, the looser skin from rapid weight loss filling back out over time. you know his mother's thrilled.

In my save file I got Gale's horny-after-battle conversation immediately after reviving him from unconsciousness. It adds a certain flavor that this is the first thing he says after being knocked out cold.

the only gale/tav/astarion love triangle i can get behind is where tav and astarion are both just absolutely head over heels for gale and exist in a vaguely awkward state of "so you wanna kiss the wizard too huh". no rivalry or anything just like "hello other guy who has also fucked my boyfriend what can i do for you today". jergal himself came to me with this vision
