i do! the tumblr RP scene sucked real bad for me so i moved to Dreamwidth for my RP fix...i was in a monster transformation horror RP game for a little over 2 years (playing Lusamine as a faerie and Shoka TWEWY as a kelpie), but the game has since ended

i'm now in a new RP game that's based on PMD and i've been having fun with it so far :)

I made a game! I designed it and my friend build it, and now it's up and running! It's a Wordle-style guessing game where you have to guess the Pokemon from a series of clues. It's a daily game, so you can come back to keep guessing later!! Let us know what you think and have a go at guessing!!

I used digital collage techniques to combine new and existing elements into hundreds of images for Waffle Smash’s recipes and their upgrades. I created the plates using Illustrator's 3D tools. To help differentiate the recipe tiers, I added more corners to the plates as they go up in rank.

okay so hear me out. i've been obsessing over this game concept and i need to share it with fellow scrolls nerds because i think it could actually be amazing???

the concept: mundus mover 🗡️

imagine pokemon go but it's actually a proper elder scrolls rpg. like, PROPER. not some simplified mobile trash.

the magic: tamriel gets overlaid on the real world using GPS, but here's the genius part - land only touches land, water only touches water. so when you're walking through whiterun hold, you're actually walking on real grass. when you hit the sea of ghosts, there's actual water there.

your neighborhood becomes cyrodiil. your morning jog is a quest through the jerall mountains. that park you always walk through? congrats, it's now the great forest.

this is where it gets interesting. i want something that captures that victorian social mobility vibe - where hard work and virtue can elevate anyone, where communities depend on each other, where your circumstances don't define your potential.

but make it inclusive. the f2p model means real-world wealth doesn't matter. multiple paths to success mean different play styles work. accessibility options ensure everyone can participate.

it's oliver twist meets tamriel meets your daily walk to work.

honestly? i think this could actually happen. mobile gaming is huge, gps games work, elder scrolls has massive appeal. the technology exists.

but i'm just one person with a vision and zero programming skills.

People in Palestine have been under the thumb of Israel attacks because of the war against Palestine and Israel. Israel's side of the war is using lethal force against Palestinian people and bombing towns full of citizens. This has been going on for months and months. So much bombing has taken place that almost everywhere is destroyed. The Gaza Strip is one of the last places people can go for any kind of refuge, and even now, there's still bombing taking place. There's hardly any refuge or food, the hospitals are suffering due to limited power, and many people do not have the money to leave. That is why they need our help. Outside of Gaza, there are refugee stations and help centers to help shelter the escaped Palestinians, but they have to get there first. And in order to do that, they need someone to help get them the money, that's where we, as people outside of Gaza- many of us living in America which actively funds Israel- come in! I think I'm going to start posting about my upcoming game on here, currently in soft launch! It's version 1.3 of Ready Set Golf! A thread!

Before we start - a little back story. Back in 2020 my small team at PikPok made Ready Set Golf for Snapchat. Made in PlayCanvas, it was our first true online multiplayer title, so there was a lot of learning to do!

But it was pretty basic. It was "Golf Forever", no real meta-game to keep you playing, or things to earn. Still, very fun! The game is no longer available on that platform, so we've been porting it over to truly try our a real online multiplayer game!

Over the last year we've ported it to a new codebase and redone the multiplayer. We changed the game's "unlimited" play to instead be best over 5 rounds, which has made the game way more engaging. We've also added a Level Up system.

So what's in this 1.3 update? Customization! Finally! When we made the original version of this game for Snapchat, we weren't able to get this in. Now, we can!

In the last update we added a simple level up system, which would give you power ups after playing through games. Now it'll also give you a full customizable item!

Players can earn 4 kinds of customization - Balls, Trails, Flags and Hole Effects. Fun fact - the original game's balls, being a single color, didn't actually roll! So it was surprisingly complicated to get this working here.

One of the neatest additions we've done compared to other games is the Flag. When you win a hole, the flag switches over to yours! A new way to show off to others.

We've got a whole bunch of stuff in here for this update. The artists had a real fun time making awesome particles for the trails and effects, and the balls are so cool!

The game is currently in soft launch in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and now Canada! If you're in those spots, check it out!

My brother and Dad are big fans of real golf, and I like olf games, so I'm happy we're able to bring this back and do some new, cool stuff with it.
