This home in London, England looks like a Georgian, but it's the unusual decor that attracted me. It has 6 bds and is listed for $2,310,930. I wonder if you can negotiate for some of the furnishings.
Well, if nothing else, the writing on the stairs will convey. If you've followed me for a while, you'll recall that I really wish I could afford vintage church statues from an architectural salvage seller.
The sitting room is cool, not only does it have a nice fireplace and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, but look at how neatly the piano fits into that nook. (Surely, that would be included.)
Huge dining room. I really like this home's style- looks like vintage school chairs and table from science lab. Love the row of old velvet theater seats, and casual industrial style lighting. But, I don't like how those statues are situated on small weak book shelves.
I like the kitchen- it's long, but it's roomy enough. Love the vintage cabinetry, floor, and stained glass window. The only thing missing is a stove exhaust hood.
Interesting room- look at how old that fireplace is. Looks like they added a surround to the original and preserved it.
Loving this- look at the huge bar in the rec room.
Must be the main bedroom. It's huge, but the bed is blocking what appears to be a sealed-off fireplace and there don't seem to be any closets.
I suspect that by the looks of this room, it wasn't always a bath.
Here's another bedroom and a bath that looks like it was once a bedroom, as well.
Notice this elegant bedroom with the great neon sign. Both the fireplace above and this one have disco balls.
If they don't leave that chandelier, the deal is off. Look at that thing. This could be a bedroom, but it looks like a ballroom to me.
The yard is interesting- most of it is old paver stones, but there are some gardens and greenery in pots.

Views of the romantic ancient city of Bath in the UK. This city was founded by the Romans because of the natural hot springs, which they transformed into a bathhouse complete with swimming pools and fountains of "healing" water. The site is now a museum that showcases the brilliant engineering and cultural relics of the Romans.

Can't stop thinking about her...
7 Henrietta Street, Dublin. Restored to its former Georgian glory, underground tunnels and all, and now on the market!
It's fulfilled many roles over the years. In the 18th century it was home to Dublin's elite, and after the Act of Union and the movement of the rich and powerful back to London, it was turned into a tenement building for Dublin's poorest. It has been used as classrooms for the barristers attending the local Kings Inns, and as studios for artists. In 2018 it was bought by a barrister who had trained as an architect who restored the building to its 18th century elegance.

This one’s a bargain. It’s the 1856 “Marshal House,” originally used as a hotel, and now has 4bd. 1.5ba. Listed at $299K. Look at how close it is to the Mississippi River and the home is also full of original charm.
Lovely colonial central hall entrance.
The sitting room has lovely big windows with plantation shutters.
A large arch leads to this cute, elegant reading nook. Notice the tray ceiling.
A second sitting room. Love the emerald green walls. There’re pocket doors for closing off the dining room.
Lovely large dining room.
This area must’ve been the original pantry. They haven’t changed the layout.
As disjointed as it is, the kitchen actually retained its original footprint. It’s updated, but unchanged. I think that it could be nicely reconfigured, I would leave it as-is and decorate it. Then, I would move that cabinet to the other side of the stove, center the stove, install an exhaust hood, and build a smaller cabinet on that side.
This is the half bath. Notice that they did a penny floor.
There’s a large landing on the 2nd fl. and plenty of room for a desk, reading area, etc.
The main bd. is lovely and they’ve added 2 large closets, which is a plus.
This is the only full bath, but it’s quite roomy and I love that they used an antique dresser for the sink.
This bd. is nice and bright w/a nook for a desk or makeup table.
The 2 smaller bds. are flexible spaces.
Isn’t that nice, each floor has a screened porch.
B/c it’s so close to the river, the current owners put up this large shed for their boats.
There’s plenty of land, the house sits on 6 city lots.
