Well, tumblr has caught the greed bug, like all social media companies do. This new crap with ads, with the Live option nobody really wants except for the porn, the useless feedback options that should be right out front but are deeply buried - these are the telltale signs of impending bullshit ahead. Remembering Mark Margolis 1939-2023

Actor Mark Margolis has died at 83. He is best known for playing Hector Salamanca on AMC's Breaking Bad and the prequel Better Call Saul. As the elderly don of the Cartel he did so much with a glance and no dialogue. He was nominated for an Emmy. I was a huge fan of both shows and I named both my #2 TV Shows of the 2010s.

He also had small supporting roles in Arthur, Scarface, The Secret of My Success, Glory, Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, Absolute Power, Gone Baby Gone, as Hank's father in an episode of Californication, and 2 episodes of the short-lived TV show The Black Donnellys (fun fact: I worked as an office PA on that during pre-production, but never met Mr. Margolis). He was also a frequent collaborator of Darren Aronofsky, who cast him in 6 movies, notably Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler, and Black Swan.

GONE BABY GONE- 2007 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Patrick (Casey Affleck) and Angie (Michelle Monaghan) are two private detectives living in Boston. After a little girl goes missing, the family hire them to find her.

They clash with the police department and local residents in there search. As time goes on it gets less and less likely they will find her and there personal relationship suffers as a result.

Very strong mystery/drama movie with interesting characters and twists.

Directorial debut of Ben Affleck.
