Was dwelling around the internet and found a site that randomly assigns your Digimon partner! Check it out:

So I decided to make its evolution line (tho only the stages above it), here is what I ended up with:

ADULT: DarkTyrannomon X

Thought it would be cool considering that its 2 main colors are the swapped main colors of Guilmon X(red with black details to black with red details), although DarkTyrannomon X also has green details but oh well. Point is: feral virus dino with the X-Antibody

PERFECT: MetalTyrannomon X

This guy was an easy choice, there are a bunch of possible DarkTyrannomon X evolutions but as a lover of anything metalical or mechanical, I just had to pick this one. Also I think it fits well with the next stage pick.

ULTIMATE: Chaosdramon X

Ooooh boy, not only does the red fit its rockie form of Guilmon X, its design easily connects with MetalTyrannomon X and it makes for one heck of a robot digimon.

Also it is so over the top, it is said to be an upgrade on Mugendramon/Machinedramon, which is already an amalgamation of multiple mechanical Digimon, and on top of all of that give it the X-Antibody. Absolutely bonkers and I love it.

An indulgent mega man zero + digimon AU.

The partnerships are:

Ciel + Zero (Guilmon X)

I didn't draw her with goggles here, but she has them. She uses a visor while researching "digital phenomena."

Unlike the regular Guilmon line, Guilmon Xs' digital hazards are sealed thanks to the X-antibody.

Elpizo + X (Patamon)

Elpizo pushes X to digivolve and become more powerful, while X tries to get him to calm down.

Neige + Craft (Grapleomon) are a different kind of partners.

Neige's a journalist chasing rumours of a secret government division. She's also looking for her old friend--though she can't remember his name or what he looks like. Meanwhile, Craft wants her to stay far away from what he's up to.

More long, rambly (subject to change) plot stuff under the cut:

The secret government division (basically a cross of DATS and Hypnos) has been researching the 'chosen child' phenomena. Wouldn't it be useful, to harness the ability to control powerful monsters? Particularly if you wanted to exterminate this parallel world full of walking nukes, thinks Director Weil.

Ciel either knows exactly what's happening or has men in black style amnesia to stop her from forming a resistance too early. In both options she has a creeping sense of dread/guilt that she's done something terrible and left someone behind.

Zero definitely has amnesia. Ciel first finds him as a hurt Gigimon, plopped out of her computer when she wishes to be stronger to protect others.

Arc 1: Involves Ciel and Zero getting used to a partnership as monsters start appearing in Arcadia city

Half of these encounters are solved without violence. Most digimon are fleeing to the human world for safety--only some elites are seeking to harm humans. Ciel ends up creating a network of digimon in hiding.

T.K. Thoreewon (but much prefers 'Elpizo') is Ciel's lancer, and he's far more ruthless than her. He doesn't have a digimon partner though, despite how he wants to help out in battles.

Occasionally after each battle they catch glimpses of a flickering angel, who repeats the message "stop me."

They eventually do, tracking down the vengeful Holyangemon who's been driving digimon to flee the digital world to escape his reign.

Curiously, Holyangemon (previously Seraphimon X) was once known for his peaceful policies and caring nature. He was one of the few leaders left after a nightmareish red dragon tore apart the world. But citizens whisper he changed after he left for the final battle to seal away that dragon--not just that he lost his X-antibody and dropped down a level. However, no one saw the old human escaping the scene that day when his monster was defeated.

Ciel, meanwhile, has a terrible sense of recognition when she sees Holyangemon's control ring.

Arc 2 involves investigating cases of missing digimon. Ciel has a theory it's humans--though others report a lion general doing the dirty work. At the same time, Elpizo's new partner Patamon rings deja vu...

Digimon Battle Generation Prologue

God, after talking about my old fanfics, I went through some of the stuff I commissioned back then and found these few pages of fancomic/doujinshi that Riza23 did back in the day for me. The full thing is still online here. But I thought I could share.

Yu boy digimon partners expanded

Yuya has the most to reflect how Odd-Eyes has 50 billion variations. I couldn’t even fit the jogress😰.

Yugo: Yuya, what the fuck?! How many digivolutions do you have?

Yuya: I need to keep surprising the audience, Yugo.

Yugo: I can’t even keep track of your partner’s forms!

Yuri gets the most armors since it’s the digivolution method of his dimension along with Jogress.

Yugo despite being the protagonist of the Digimon au hardly has any. This is also supposed to reflect Arc V because remember Yugo didn’t get a lot of upgrades.

Edit: I just discovered Machmon after posting this and added it as a possible meme evolution🤣. I don’t know if I will actually use it though. If I do I’ll change its colors to match Veemon more.

I don’t think Yuto would want to use armor which is primarily used by Academia in the au. He already has a champion so he never really needed it. Though, considering Jogress is harder to do I imagine he hasn’t really come across it. I wanted a way for Yuya and Yuto to unite their strength without Yuto getting absorbed so this is a nice compromise. I decided to put the jogress on Yuto’s section. I imagine the jogress is how they both first access ultimate then they get their true ultimates later.

Here's the first one of Digimon tamers x Tokyo mew mew crossovers. So this is Takato as Mew Ichigo and also cat!guilmon.

I chooses him as Ichigo because they both cheerful, optimistis, carefree, born leaders and had a love life ;takato with juri, aoyama with ichigo. But the difference is Takato is a bit introverted and shy with opposite genders including Ruki and juri, while ichigo is extroverted and romantic towards Aoyama but Shirogane. (but i ship both of them, because aoyama is only close with ichigo and had a romantic chemistry rather than kisshu.. And Juri and takato also like them, but no yandere girl.)

For the outfit, this is mixture of Tokyo mew mew Ole (because, some male mew mews are showing their tummy) and Tokyo Mew mew new because more dynamic design than 2002 one (i really love ichigo's pink hair btw) .

Therefully, I drew guilmon in Persian cat type because its so hard to draw iriomote cat and Persian cat is rather tame, cutesy and babylike, much as guilmon than iriomote one 🐱🐱

This is tribute to Mia Ikumi who died in march 2022 before Tokyo mew mew new premiere launched 😭 💐. As also 21th anniversary of Digimon tamers and belated of 20th anniversary of Digimon tamers itself..

Digimon Park - Final Thoughts

Omg this game was adoooorable! It's the first Digimon game I've played that's aimed at preschoolers. It was released for the KidsStation which is a Playstation peripheral that only came out in Japan. It had a giant controller with the triangle, square, circle and x buttons and nothing else.

To my relief, it works just fine with a regular Playstation emulator (I use epsxe).

The whole game takes around an hour to beat and is full of little mini games that are kid friendly. I can't really think of another game to compare it to (WarioWare maybe?) but the presentation is very visual novel-like which I appreciated. They put a lot of love into this game for such a niche title!

Notes:

Not only do we have the OG voice actors of the 3 main protags and their mons, but we've got the narrator dude from the show as well (he reads the cards out to you). It was pretty obvious that they didn't get anyone else because sometimes you would "talk" to other characters, but they'd always be silent. No biggie.

I feel like there was so much original art and sprites made for this! Great fanservice.

My one critique of this game is that the background music was way too loud! Sometimes it would drown out the voice acting. I didn't see anywhere to adjust that so I just dealt with it.

Love the use of the 2D art for the majority of the game. Holds up way better than 3D, although we did get a little bit of that with the cards.

You know you're playing a preschool game when one of the questions is "which animal is a bird?" and they show you a picture of a hawk, a zebra and a tiger lol. Every single "challenge" in this game was dumb baby proof.

Instead of loading screens there were eye catches with a sting from the anime. I thought that was a fun touch, although they got a little annoying after awhile.

In addition to the main game the "raising Guilmon" game was really cute. The mini games reminded me of flash games I played as a kid and talking to Guilmon was so wholesome. Guilmon's Japanese voice is really adorable.

There were a couple "boss battles" in the game, but my fave was the Etemon battle where Taichi "fights" Etemon by challenging him to a music battle. That caught me off guard and made me laugh.

If you want to 100% a Digimon game, this is definitely one of the easiest out there. I give Digimon Park an 8 out of 10!

I absolutely adore the new Impmon line. Apparently so much so I wrote a wall of text gushing about it, but I'll put that under the cut to spare those who don't care's dash.

Where do I start, there's so much to love about this gift. The punk and reptilian ascetic blends perfectly into Beelzemon with his biker look and his lizard tail/claws so if you didn't want to go with the Megidramon mega you can swap in Beelzemon just fine. I honestly like it better thematically than the Wizardmon -> Baalmon line, (even though Baalmon is cooler aesthetically) it always bothered me that Wizardmon felt tacked on and slightly out of place since it wasn't a virus. I know the X antibody forms helped fold them together more design wise, and they're an awesome line, but that still doesn't fix the non-x line for me... not that all digimon need a clean and clear through line persay, but you know.

I've seen people call it "Just a recolor" and I feel like it's so much more than that. I've always liked the regional variants in Pokémon becuase they breathe new life into old designs while still making a unique feeling creature. It's the same principle here.

And while it's sad we didn't get a full canon Beelstarmon line, I like this so much more. And I feel like Impmon -> Witchmon -> LadyDevimon already fits Beelstarmon just as much as Wizardmon/Baalmon fits Beelzemon, so I don't really feel the need for a full new Fem line for Beelstarmon.

And the connections to Guilmom are just... chef's kiss. People have pointed out that Guilmon has a good sorcer line with FlareWizardmon -> Mistymon -> MedievalDukemon that matches up well with Impmon's Wizardmon line so Impmon getting a reptilian line to match up with Guilmon is just so cool. And it makes it all the cooler that Impmon was originally going to be Takato's partner, apparently.

I feel like I'm rambling, I just wanted to gush about the Punk Growlmon. After years of the Impmon line feeling rocky and incomplete on some levels, I feel like all is finally right with the world and my ocd with its line can finally rest. I don't like remembering the dark days where the best line we had was Meramon -> Skull/DeathMeramon -> Beelzemon. It gives me war flashbacks.

Now I need a Galletmon/Dukemon and Beelzemon jogress. Give it to me Bandai.
