Thankfully this morning they are greeted to the sound of the front door unlocking and you coming home to your shared apartment with a fond call of, “Hello?”

“Hey, we’re in the kitchen.” Called back Billy. Your shoes abandoned, bag slung over your shoulder and box in your hands you come into the kitchen to see your boyfriends, not dressed to leave the house yet, still clad in pyjamas. “There you are, hey boys.” 

You shrug the bag off, leave it on a nearby chair, set down the box and you make the rounds. Billy was seated at the table, you leaned down and kissed him with a quiet, “Good morning.” 

You pulled back, a smile spread across his face, he expressed the same sentiment before coming over to the other man, standing at the counter still fixing his coffee, you lean up and give Stu a similar moment of affection. “Mornin’.” Stu began,“How was work?”

“Fine, mundane, thoroughly usual.” You tell him easily before asking, “And your night? You two sleep well?”

“Was fine, but more importantly, what smells so incredible?” Stu asks and you smile, walking back to the box you previously ditched on the table, you flipped it open, and turned it to show it off. “Baked these at work last night, couldn’t stop thinking about you both and thought it would be nice.”

The box in your hands is practically bursting with an assortment of your boyfriends favorite cookies from your work.

“How sweet are you? I’ll bring one along for my lunch today.” Billy said but Stu snorted, “Fuck lunch, I’m having one now.” 

“A cookie for breakfast?” Billy questioned and Stu said, “What? What’s the issue with that?”

Billy's nose scrunches up, a small shake of his head as he asks, “I dunno man, the fact we’re adults?” 

Stu laughed as he selected out the cookie he wanted from the box, a roll of his eyes as he said, “That is just why I can do it dude, we’re adults, that means if we want we can eat cookies for breakfast and who’s gonna stop us?” 

“The man is right.” You state with a nod, bringing the box over to Billy, “C’mon Loomis, indulge, have the damn cookie, I worked really hard on em. It isn’t that much different from a donut or a pastry anyway, right?”

“Twist my arm.” Billy said affectionately as he plucked out his own confectionery of choice. Stu let out a moan behind you, a look over your shoulder to see him having taken his first bite, a hand over his mouth, “Fuck, that is so good.” 

And a similar reaction from the brunette after taking a bite himself, “Is it possible to taste the love baked into something?” 

“Didn’t think it could be true but they are convincing me with every treat they bring home.” Stu sighs, he set the cookie down and he came over, wrapping you up in a hug, he leaned down slightly, to make this happen, his back to your chest. You bask in the contact, leaning back into him and he inhales, “Wait a fucking second.”

“What?” You asked and he said, hand squeezing your waist, “That delicious smell isn’t the cookies, it’s you.” 

Billy got up from his spot at the table, “Is it?” He comes forward, hands cradle your face and he tilts your head down, smelling your hair. Stu asked with a far too cocky grin, “Well?”

“Like vanilla.” Billy agreed and Stu continued, his chin resting on your shoulder, “But more than that, right? Depth to it.”

“Yeah, you smell like you but sweeter.” He tilts your head back up, meeting your gaze before he leans in and kisses you, Stu asks, “S’ good right?”

“So good-” He hums in between kisses that you were hurriedly returning, fuck, you missed them, the sudden make out bringing the reminder of that to the forefront of your mind. With a push of Stu’s hips you feel how hard he is, a surprised moan into the kiss wondering when the fuck that happened. “Can you get over how good they are? Already so busy and have so much to do at work and they are still thinking about us.”

Billy broke the contact, praising you and answering Stu as he said, “We stuck fucking gold man.” 

“How long until we gotta leave for class?” Stu asked and with a glance to the clock Billy replied with a grin, “A half hour.”

“Oh that is more than enough time.” 

“More than enough time for what?” You asked and Stu was already tugging on your shirt, “To show our appreciation, of course.”  

Your boyfriends were exceptionally good at showing their appreciation for you regularly, but any and all effort expended in that way was always fantastic, especially when it was done like this. Right now it was shown via Stu sucking hickies into your skin with his hands wandering as Billy prepped you. The eerie creaking sound of a door opening filled the room, successfully breaking you out of your pitiful daze. Gathering up your already diminishing strength, you’re attention turned to the direction of the noise.

Near the doorway stood Chan, the monster who holds you captive. His face contorting with a look of sadistic pride upon seeing your miserable state.

You desperately wanted to hate him. You wanted to yell, kick, curse, anything just to cause him even the slightest bit of distress he’s caused you, but you couldn’t. Much to your dismay, you couldn’t swallow down the feeling of glee once your eyes fell upon his figure. 

And that is exactly what he had wanted. 

You watched, unwilling to move, as Chan stalked up to your huddled form. His knees bent as he crouched down to your level, his hand reaching out to caress the soft skin of your cheek. 

Every muscle told you to push him away, or at least jerk away, like you always did, but the very opposite followed. You found yourself melting, almost leaning in, under his surprisingly gentle touch.

“Do you want to come out, baby?”

A fresh wave of unwanted tears pooled themselves in your eyes. You’ve waited eight agonizing days to hear those words slip past his lips. 

“Yes, please, I really want to come out,” your voice croaked while your head vigorously tilted up and down. 

“I thought so,” Chan cooed, his voice sickeningly pleased with your desperation, “But first, tell me who you belong to.”

You should have known that it wasn’t going to be so easy. That a few tears and pleas wouldn’t be enough to earn your freedom.

“I’m home.” I shouted as a greeting with an extreme hoarseness in my voice.

I was received with nothing but silence in response.

“Hello? Reece?” I called my boyfriend‘s name.

To my surprise, there was still no answer.

“Great. as if this day couldnt get any worse.” I muttered to myself.

I sighed, deciding to go into the kitchen to see if he’d left a note on his whereabout. I was relieved when I saw him sitting at the kitchen island with his airpods in.

I snuck up behind him, before wrapping my arms around his shoulders. I witnessed him immediately tense at the contact, beige relaxing when he realised it was me.

“Y/N!” Reece exclaimed.

“Come, let’s go to the sitting room. I got us Chipotle, we can eat in there.” Reece motioned.

I gave him a sad smile before following his directions.

Within a few minutes, the two of us were seated on the large sofa covered by two layers of while eating our food. I had been absentmindedly listening to Reece talk about his day. I felt bad, but my mind was just other places. This week at work, and today especially had been so so stressful and difficult. I kept finishing my assignments like normal, only for my boss to give me back each and every assignment to do over again because it was subpar. I genuinely felt I would get fired. I’d never done so poorly nor have I ever failed like that in my life.

“That shit was so funny though. Cal was deathly afraid of Oscar while Mase just kept tripping over him.” Reece chuckled.

“Sounds great.” I muttered.

Reece being as sweet as he is, was alarmed by the lack of enthusiasm and suddenly started focusing more on me.

“What’s up gorgeous? How was your day today?” he asked softly.

I shrugged my shoulders in response, trying to make sure tears didn’t fall from my eyes.

“Dunno. I survived I guess.” I spoke.

“Y/N. Anything you wanna talk about?” Reece offered, wrapping his arm around my waist.

“I-I feel like I’m going to get fired.” I croaked.

“What. Why?” Reece inquired, worry evidently growing in his voice.

“I don’t know. This week, it’s just been so awful. I’ve had to redo every single assignment or project that I’ve submitted. It’s never ever been this hard. I feel like I’m at my breaking point. And I feel like my boss would love to just snap me in half.” I explained.

“If it were possible, I’d love to just take all your troubles away, but I can’t. So you can only do one of two things. Work harder, and show your boss you deserve to stay. Or, leave and find somewhere else where you think your talents will be appreciated.” Reece responded.

“I wish it was that easy. God. I just wanna jump off a damn cliff.” I groaned, while tears began spilling.

“Hey shhh shhh. Don’t cry. It’s okay.” Reece attempted to calm me down, hugging me tighter.

“It’ll all be okay. I promise you. You know what, go take a nice long bath and we’ll talk about it when you come out. You deserve some you time okay.” Reece ushered me away.

I grinned, so thankful for Reece. Wondering what I’d do without him. Before leaving to the washroom I turned and kissed him on the cheek.

“I love you so much.” I mumbled, hugging me.

“Love you too gorgeous.” Reece grinned.

I smiled walking away. I was much much happier. Unbeknownst to me, Reece was so determined for me to take a long bath because he was making reservations for a weekend getaway for the two of us.

okay first of, you and daryl met during a run! obviously with him pointing his crossbow at you and you being in a visibly defensive stance. see, daryl isn't the type to trust so easy, but there's really something about the kind look that your face held that just makes him want to lower his bow and give you a chance. judging by how you carry yourself, he can at least deduce that you have a bit of fight in you. he holds a sense of respect for you, but he probably won't voice that out openly. he's shy.

daryl doesn't give a shit about how your body looks. chubby or not, what matters is that you help provide for the group and that you care for them like your own. he likes you regardless, adores you. seeing how good you are with people really stirs something in him, makes him feel really warm. weird. he also finds it endearing how you constantly dote the group. you always make sure they're well-cared for, and that includes him. he doesn't know why you stick by him twice as much, and he damn near had a heart-attack when you gave him a hug, but he couldn't really hide the fact that he liked it either. the more you do it, the more he warms up to it. he'd probably also hug you back but it will take 15 to 20 business days 👍

he thinks protecting you is important, and he fills in that role. the deeper your connection went, the more he got fiercely protective of you. now, he knows you can handle yourself, and he knows you can throw him to his ass, but that won't stop him from sticking by your side everytime you go outside for a run. you're far too important for him to lose. he's already lost a lot in his life and he can still move past those even with the struggles, but losing you? he isn't risking it. everybody needs you. he needs you. daryl would never give you up for as long as he's living.
