Previous domestic anon - I'm baaaaaack. I love, love, love your take on domestic Gale! If you have the time and inspiration, would you be interested in expanding on pregnancy/parenting/Dad Gale hcs as well? Your writing is amazing, thank you for taking the time to share it!

Ahh this is such a cute idea!! I can definitely try my hand at this haha 🥰🤍 I’m loving these asks so keep sending them in!! Admittedly, this one was slightly angsty at the beginning haha! Pregnancy thoughts below the cut!
-I think that initially before pregnancy is even a thought on the table, Gale is above all things a man who is nervous and unsure about having kids because of his own father and some of the neglect and abuse that he endured. That definitely plays a part in his insecurities and doesn’t really know what a father is supposed to be anyway—but that doesn’t mean he’s not willing to try.
-I think communication, especially where he has a hard time expressing deep feelings and emotions, is going to be a process and he is going to need you to be patient with him.
-now if things are less abstract in the sense of you already being pregnant, I think he needs to take some time to think things through and gather his thoughts and figure out how to be supportive to you while also addressing his own fears and worries.
-He definitely cries when you tell him that you’re pregnant. There’s not a lot of words beyond “I love you” but he’s still unsure about a lot of things. -But once that is out of the way, this man is the softest, sweetest, gentlest man when it comes to you being pregnant and that little baby. -I absolutely picture him as the type of guy to immediately start talking to the baby at nighttime when you’re asleep. It doubles as a coping mechanism for him and a way for him to express himself and figure out how he’s feeling.
-He has sooooo many dreams and hopes for this little baby and he’s constantly wondering about who the baby is going to look more like, what their personality will be like, if it’s a boy or a girl, or what their name will be. -He tests out names after work. When he comes home, it’s usually with a name suggestion and if either of you like it, then it goes in a jar in the kitchen for potential names to narrow down. -Absolutely a wreck at first?? Like he’s trying to figure out what brand of crib is going to be the safest and WHY are there so many different types of bottles and WHY are there so many different diapers?? -So you may need to help him calm down a little bit because it’s still very early in the pregnancy and you have lots of time before you need any of that stuff. -Gale Cleven strikes me as the type of man to dote on a pregnant wife; we’re talking neck and foot massages, holding you while you’re sleeping and trying to make sure you’re comfortable, if you’re carrying heavy things then he’s taking the load—yes this applies to groceries too. -Completely in awe of you as your body changes and adapts for the baby. He’s literally the most starry-eyed man as he watches you get ready in the morning and at nighttime. -COMPLIMENTS AND HYPES YOU UP
-Helps you with your shoes
-If you have pregnancy nausea or morning sickness, this man is PREPARED. Like, he worries at first, but then he understands and he’ll hold your hair up and rub your back and set lavender or peppermint near you while you’re resting. -He heard somewhere that music and reading to the baby to familiarize your voices is a good idea and he’s absolutely doing that in the evenings
-Loves slow dancing with you in the kitchen and discussing the baby
-Was really excited to put together the nursery
-Is literally the most patient when it comes to your mood swings or cravings. Because listen, this is the man that put up with Bucky’s delulu baseball girl dreams in the POW Camp. If he can handle that, he can handle you. Might get a bit of whiplash though haha. -Goes faithfully with you to every appointment and tries to read up as much as he can so he’s educated about what is happening to your body. -When the baby bump actually shows up, he’s SMITTEN 🤩
-Literally is the proudest man ever and immediately sent letters and pictures to the men of the Hundredth
-Bucky is the godfather, I don’t make the rules. -And labor? Listen, this man is NOT leaving your side and he’s absolutely getting as sassy with the doctor as he was when he told his copilot to sit there and take it 😌
-But the minute that baby is born? He’s the most emotional whimpering wreck of a human being who has never seen anything so perfect in his life. -Cried for an abnormally long time and was very concerned he was going to drop the baby??? Which he wasn’t, and he didn’t, but the fear was there. -And then dad Gale thoughts?? -He’s so patient and understanding and loving to his children. He loves getting to spend time with them individually. -Gale has the mentality of “we don’t negotiate with terrorists” when it comes to the kids though so that does mean a strict bedtime and some rules being adhered haha
-But the kids ADORE him
-He’s not super involved in, like, PTA or anything but he is SO supportive. Your daughter has a dance or a music recital? He’s on the front row, accompanied by you and Bucky and clapping his little heart out. Your son decides he wants to do baseball? Gale is going to grimace and ask Bucky for how to help his kid learn and get better. -He is the homework helper dad haha. -Definitely is involved in bedtime routines for the kids and making sure teeth are brushed, kids are bathed, and a story is told. -Helps with every single science fair project and the kids always win haha. -Is honestly wrapped around your children’s fingers. -He changes a little bit when the kids start to be old enough to actually have conversations with and he becomes more vocal. Because his dad never told him that he was proud of Gale, he makes a point to say how much he loves the kids and how proud he is of every little thing they do! -Gale carries pictures of the kids in his wallet and proudly brags about them when asked about his family.
-And I could keep going forever haha….but here’s a little fun with that
Some spicy thoughts below:
-The best most praising and body-worshipping pregnancy sex
-He runs warm baths to help with body aches and helps you wash up. Also really enjoys putting lotion on your belly when the stretch marks start showing up. -Is very creative with positions so you can be comfortable haha
-Maternity clothing shopping always gets a little frisky haha
-And he can’t help it, but he thinks you’re even prettier while pregnant, so he definitely has a higher sex drive to match yours. -Sneaking quickies in between the baby napping in the evening
-If you’re self conscious of your body after pregnancy, he will cure that with the best orgasms of your life
-Definitely develops a breeding kink after the first child haha
-Is still the sweetest husband ever and always takes the time in between raising the kids to let you know how much he loves you…..and then he proceeds to show you how much 🤩

Tenerife Sea (One) ⇢ Bang Chan
genre: fluff, cliché friends to lovers yanno what it is warnings: a curse word, so much cheese, oc has a distorted view on marriage and romantic relationships because of past trauma word count: 729 summary: why would you fall in love just to get your heart broken? and obvi the song is Tenerife Sea lol but I think we’re all familiar with it at this point haha
Tumblr media
In a garden of blooming tulips and roses under blazing sun, the husband kisses his new wife. Dads sit in the first row, uncles in the third.
“What?” Chan giggles at my nose scrunch.
“Wouldn’t it be weird to kiss your husband in front of everybody?” An elderly woman behind us in the beige chairs taps my shoulder and holds an index to her lips.
“Sorry.” He covers his mouth with wrinkled eyes.
When the ceremony ends, and I’ve neglected finding relatives for the woman—she looks like a Carla—everybody sits down on the villa’s enormous patio. The newly-wed take photos for an album that will end up in the dusty attic of their once shared home while we wait with grumbling stomached between Calla lilies on carefully allocated tables.
Auntie Livia assigned my parents the same as us. She must've forgotten they divorced. And I forgot to bring my scream pillow.
“Don't leave me alone with your father, sweetie. I had to deal with him for twenty years, can't do another second.” Nineteen years and three months. But she says twenty every time he’s in the same vicinity, and I have to babysit them as if a repayment.
During all five courses I talk with mom about uni—which revives her beloved college memories—and Chan listens to dad ramble about wine and Formula 1. Everybody laughs and clinks glasses when they're not stuffing their faces with fruit snacks like they forgot what comes after: marriage.
After coffee and cake (it matched auntie's white-purple nails but tasted made-in-a-nail-salon as well), catering leads us to the dance floor at the opposite side of the Mediterranean villa. Uneven cobblestones force women to claw their partners’ arms in too-high-inched heels for seven rounds “to our wonderful bride and groom”.
Off crooked walls resonates “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, tottered dances shared between. This part of the villa is much nicer than the garden and patio: the lilies don't stink like rancid yogurt, mom isn't forced near dad and round lights under the night sky chase children in laughter.
Or maybe it's Chan's hand on my back. “You will fall,” he says. “No Prosecco needed.” Way too many melon-orange sticks for my acid reflux later, he glues himself to my side still.
When Ed Sheeran’s acoustic guitar plays, he withdraws to extend his hand, "Shall we dance?"
Golden circles adore his eyes. “Yes.” People dance with their friends all the time.
A wave of shivers spreads from around my waist where his arms guide me. “You look so wonderful in your dress,” he sings into my neck. “I love your hair like that.”
We are surrounded by all these lights and people who talk too much (about slow dance to teens who ignore them and then regret it because; two, no, three steps on his leather shoes later, he pulls away in a twirl, and changes into falsetto.)
“Should this be the last thing I see, I want you to know it's enough for me.” He hangs off the lyrics as if his confession. “Cause all that you are is all that I’ll ever need.”
Forehead on mine, hands intertwined he looks at me from under his brows. “I'm so in love.”
Dimples charm his shy smile before he hides in my strands. His smell of mint and green apple—the Versace perfume l told mom he wouldn't wear—as I trace a lock.
Right foot first, not more than a step back. The chorus passes without another dirt patch on his leather.
“You look so beautiful in this light. Your silhouette over me.” His breath tickles my neck where the high-low dress ends. He's never sounded this breathy, like he needs to let me in on a secret.
“Just say the word and I will disappear into the wilderness.” But secrets need solace. So I hinge our ring fingers on my search for a hideaway.
Roses and tulips look smaller with the lanterns on, garden bigger without the folding chairs. “I'm so in love,” I sing.
He fills his lungs and crosses his arms on my back through the kiss, mine on his neck. We can't be close enough in a second, third, fourth. Hearts pup faster at how his exhale hits my philtrum, chemise feels under his jacket.
Fuck it. Let's get our hearts broken.

If there was a time when Chan treated you like a queen, it was during your pregnancy days.
The sweet boy would send you a text in every chance he could, asking if you were alright or if the baby was quiet and letting you rest.
He would go shopping with you. Helping you choose the cutest outfits for your changing body.
You loved to wake up with him kissing your growing belly, or talking to your baby like the great father he is, completely lost in enjoyment.
Chan loved you more than anything. He knew, from the moment that your eyes locked for the first time, that you would be his wife and mother of his children.
Your wedding was simple and small, just his dear bandmates, his family and yours as well.
The blonde boy always believed that you couldn't become more gorgeous, but when his eyes witnessed your pregnant body, he changed his mind.
But, everything seemed to go down as soon as your baby, Mina, was born. Chan became completely in love with his girl and all of his attention turned to her.
She turned five months when the Stray Kids comeback was scheduled, and it got worst for you.
Since the baby still needed all your attention, you started to work from the house. Designing, after all, could be done from home, and since Mina was a sleepy girl, you could work relatively well.
Your routine was rough. You couldn't sleep much because the baby would wake up crying in the middle of the night, waking you up. And, when she finally falls asleep, you couldn't rest yourself. So, you decided to start working at night.
You had to take care of Mina, clean the house by yourself and even do your work. It was evident on your face that you lost some weight and the dark mess under your sights were showing signs of tiredness.
Your husband's routine was the same ever since then. He would kiss your forehead as goodbye in the morning, and, would do the same as he stepped inside the house passing the three in the morning.
Of course, he would go and kiss his Mina good night as well. And also, always tell her he loved her. Something he hasn't said to you, in months.
You woke yesterday with a new feeling of hope blooming in your chest. Day 15th of May, it's your wedding anniversary of 3 years.
You woke up early, hurrying in making your husband a delicious breakfast. As you happily hummed a song that was stuck in your head, you finished the pancakes, a proud smile displayed on your lips.
But quickly the smile vanished away when Chan appeared in the kitchen: He kissed your forehead, picked his keys from the hall and walked out.
No 'I love you'. No 'good morning baby'. No 'Happy 3 year anniversary.' Nothing.
With teary eyes you gazed all over the food you cooked him: the pancakes, the sweet orange juice, some warm coffee, fresh fruit, and his favorite cereals.
You cooked it all for nothing... 'No!' You thought to yourself. 'He is just tired of all the pressure on him. Chan still loves me.' You notify yourself, cleaning the salty teardrops with the back of your hand.
In the afternoon you texted him 'Have a good afternoon of work, Love' but he didn't text back. It's ok, he is probably working -You thought.
Your baby, Mina, seemed very cheerful and talkative today. Flashing her gummy smile at you, whenever you cutely talked to her. Deciding to try another thing, you dressed her up with a cute pink dress and snapped some precious pictures.
'Do I look pretty?' You joked as you sent some pictures of her to your lover, and for your surprise... Chan replied immediately: 'My baby looks so pretty!'
You smiled as the idea of a new surprise to your lover came to your senses. As soon as the child was peacefully sleeping you dug in your wardrobe for something to wear.
After choosing the whole outfit, you decided to work on your new design for a while, so you could make some time to start cooking dinner.
Everything was ready at nine pm. You took a shower and were smelling like roses. The blue velvet dress was hugging your, now, less curvy body perfectly, making you feel confident. Even your make up was fire, simple but blue, making your hazel eyes sparkle.
In the kitchen there were candles everywhere, making a shady and dark but sensual environment drown the whole place as his favorite food was ready for him to eat as soon as he came home.
To your unhappiness, when Chan came home, it passed the five am and he was too tired to notice your romantic kitchen or the absence of your presence by his side in the bed.
You woke up in the kitchen a few minutes later. The candles still burning, the food now freezing and the house completely silent.
With your heart thumping stupidly fast, you thought something happened to Chan because there was no evidence of him. But you were mistaken.
As you silently footed inside the large bedroom, not to wake up the sleeping newborn, your eyes widened as you saw your husband dozing off on the king-sized bed.
How didn't he noticed that you weren't there? How didn't he noticed the kitchen carefully decorated with candles? Why did he only answer the texts about Mina and left yours? Why hasn't he said he loved you in months?
With burning tears rolling down your cheeks you walked back to the kitchen and began to clean it all. Halfway to all the dishes you were washing, you couldn't glimpse anything from the tears in your eyes and ended you falling asleep sitting on a chair, your head resting over your tear-stained dress.
Chan woke up the next morning, today, with a loving smile, the sunlight was brilliant, making the bedroom have a comfortable and warm atmosphere.
His muscular arm searched for your body, but his hands were only met with cold sheets. Chan immediately opened his eyes.
You weren't in the bedroom. Maybe you were in your creative room, so he walked over there to check. But you weren't there either.
Then he remembered that you love to shower in the morning, so, he walked to the bathroom, only to find silence. No sign of you.
It hit him there. Where were you? Why weren't you by his side?
With fast and worried steps he walked to the kitchen and as soon as his eyes recognized your figure, the tears were already blurring his vision.
There was a burned smell inside, and he recognized it because of the melted candles all around him. His eyes found cooked food at the top of the table and dirty dishes on the sink.
No, no.... He couldn't....
You were even worse: Your face was stained with dry make-up under your eyes and cheeks. Your dress was messy and your heavy breathing suddenly felt like punches in his stomach.
The blonde man picks up his phone and notices the little reminder '3 year marriage anniversary - yesterday'.
Chan falls on his knees in a silent cry. All the memories of what he has been doing making his heart break with blame.
All those months without a single 'I love you'; all those months without giving you the, so worth love... He missed you.
You woke up scared. An unknown sound of sobs filling your ears. The baby... You guessed immediately, but the sight of your husband on his knees by your side made you think twice.
"Chan," You called for him. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?"
As soon as he recognized your voice, his guilty eyes studied your worried face. He wasted no more time: Chan stood up on his feet and held your body tightly against his:
"I'm so sorry YN. I never meant to hurt you... I swear... I just- I know I have been neglecting you and it's all my fault...." He cried with his face hidden in your shoulder in shame. "I'm such a bad husband. I was so focused on our daughter that I forgot that you needed my love as well... I'm so sorry baby..."
By this time, you couldn't stop the tears from dropping from your stares. You wanted to inform him that its ok, that it doesn't matter, but it does.
You've felt so alone, so lonely...
"Chan..." You whispered fighting back a cry.
"I'm sorry... I will pay more attention to you." Chan said with his lungs full of air. "I love you so much YN. And I will show it to you more, I'll thank you every day, for loving me and for taking care of our daughter." His fingers were caressing your cheeks, and you leaned on his touch.
"I missed you so much, Channie..." You pouted.
"I missed you too, darling." Chan smiled and then proceeded to smooch your lips. Once, twice... until he was satisfied.
"I won't ever neglect you again, love. You are the of my life..." With those last words, you buried your face in the crook of his neck and inhaled his manly perfume, as you hugged him.
You've missed this. You've missed your husband. But it's all good now, he is finally here for you.
