Since the moment we saw it, we wanted to recreate @depressedrevolutionariesinlove 's fan art (you can see it in the last pic), so at the last cosplay con we went, we asked our friend to shoot us some photos and this is what came out!

Today, my first time going to a fan convention at LA Comic Con! I cosplay Angelica Schuyler for today and I met Elijah Wood (11 yr old me is screaming rn)! He's the sweetest guy I've ever met. He loved my quick sketch of him as Frodo (my favorite LOTR character) I did the night before and autographed it! I told him that I adore his role of Frodo in LOTR trilogy and Wirt from Over the Garden Wall and told him that I didn't know it was him when it first aired. Never forget that his beautiful blue eyes stared my soul. When I was next for an photo op, my autistic joy to see him again and we did the heart thing hand. I will cherished the sketch with an autograph by him and photo op

Realism be damned, if Deborah Sampson can fight on the battlefield in the American War of Independence, and @pagetreader’s OC Rebekah can balance soldiering and “womanly” duties, I can do both. Also, I just like playing dress up. Now, I won’t lie, coming up with content for this initially had me stuck cause I rarely do self-inserts, the closest I have is Audrey, and I've already discussed her... a lot (blame @honorhearted ~ affectionate). I have one “self insert” but they’re from the 1920s. Almost all my OCs are “wouldn't it be cool if?”

Now, I recall very distinctly wanting to be Eliza Schuyler-Hamilton in grade school, though I was the Angelica Schuyler-Church of my friend group. Thank you Shoba Narayan and Phillipa Soo for your service. I wish I had Anna Strong's patience, I can aspire to be a Peggy Shippen, and Benjamin Tallmadge is my “so me” TURN character. But, realistically I'd probably be more of a Philomena Cheer sort (keeps with my record of theatre kid), or a Deborah Sampson type. So, you get me as Benjamin Tallmadge and me as an 18th-century “coquette.”
