I just got back from seeing the Lincoln Center Theatre production of My Fair Lady at the London Coliseum (23/05/2022) and I’m absolutely blown away by every single part of it, I’ve seen the film and various other versions so many times I’ve lost count and this is unlike anything that has ever come before. Amara Okereke is a force of nature and elevates Eliza to heights she’s never hit before, while Harry Hadden-Paton does very much give Rex Harrison a run for his money with an absolute picture-perfect Prof Higgins you can endlessly read into. This production breathes new life into old material and I’d honestly call it completely unmissable, I’m already dying to go again!
