DP x DC: Two Dads are better than none

This is probably because I have the Bruharvy brainrot rn and Two Face is one of my favorite characters

Danny’s parents wanted a second child, but years of exposure to ectoplasm left them sterile. It turns out that there are some side effects to living with radioactive materials from another plane of existence. 

Their Solution? Cloning

The issue? The sample they got while in Gotham wasn’t exactly “pure.” After getting a blood sample from a fight between Batman and Two Face, things got little cross contaminated. Now what does this mean?

Danny is the biological child of BOTH Bruce and Harvey

Years pass, Danny grows up, Danny half dies, and life goes on.

Until Danny has to flee Amity. Maybe it’s the GIW, maybe it's and identity reveal gone wrong, maybe the Nasty Burger explosion happened and Danny fled to avoid being taken in by Vlad. 

Danny runs. He also discovered who his biological parents were: Bruce Wayne, and Harvey Dent. Between the Billionaire and the criminal, he wasn’t exactly thrilled with the choices, but he still had to choose

So he flipped a coin

Harvey: So you’re biologically me and Bruce’s kid after your parents used our DNA to make a clone

Danny: Yep

Harvey: And between a billionaire and someone considered criminally insane, you chose me? Why?

Danny: ... I flipped a coin.

Harvey: You really are my kid.

I feel like Jazz should have her own Bio-dad Aus Now Bruce is a popular choice for most bio dad AUs, but let's add some variety. Harley Quinn is another popular choice, it kinda fits since they have ties to psychology. But let me give you another choice. Harvey Dent. Let's say Maddie and Harvey met at one of Brucie Wayne's fundraiser events, they hit it off, get a bit tipsy, then boom. Jazz's born. Jazz looks so much like her mum that Maddie doesn't even think that Jazz is not Jack's kid. (She does notice some things about Jazz that she couldn't have gotten from Jack or her, but admitting that would probably ruin her marriage, so she employs blissful ignorance.) Harvey, of course has no idea Jazz exists. Years pass, truths come out (or not), tears are shed, life goes on. Now Jazz is looking at schools, and she finds a good one in Gotham, you know, the home of her bio dad. She decides to reach out to Harvey. So, she talks it over with Jack and Maddie and they agree to let her go. Now you could have Jack and Maddie know that Jazz isn't Jacks kid and approve of her reaching out to Harvey, just them being supportive. Or, you could have them not know anything, and have Jazz do this behind their backs as an attempt to have a semi decent role model in her life. Your choice. But anyway. Here Harvey is, planning something (Next court case or next crime) and then, out of nowhere, a kid shows up on his doorstep saying "Congratulations, it's a girl, where's that child support?" And he's just so confused, like how did she find him (Tucker of course) and where were her parents? Harvey who's very concerned: ehh, you do know I'm a criminal, right? Jazz: My mum and other dad have a portal to hell in the basement, trust me, you're an improvement. Harvey who's even more concerned about this kid: ??????? Or you know, Slade Wilson is also an option.

What if we combined the au's?

Jack and Maddie had always been an open thing when they were younger. It wasn't a secret really. (Which pissed Vlad off so much since he still couldn't be with Maddie).

Things slowed down on it as they moved to amity, only taking time for Fun Trips when the couple took their convention trips, at least until they were more busy with their obsession than their social lives.

It's how they met Harvey.

One fundraiser for green tech; a few drinks and flirting; a few shared nights that weekend; and back home to Amity with exchanged contact info-that neither party used-with no regrets.

Almost 10 months later-even as a foetus she had to be Just Right-Jasmine Fenton was born. Surely she was just theirs after all.

(most people forget or don't know pregnancies can be almost 10 months and it's fine)

They lessoned their trips for a while, till Jazz was old enough to spend the week with in town friends while they went to another charity event/green tech conference.

And Brucie Wayne added Jack and Maddie Fenton to his bedpost notches. (Very few actual people are on the list of people he's actually slept with, he keeps track just in case.) A fun night all around. Back home they go, nothing amiss.

7 months later, (though they think it's 8 months cause the baby's healthy, if a little small) they welcome Danny, who looks so much like Jack! They don't even think to put it together.

Time passes, portals built, a teen half-dies, gets into fights, saves the town, gets crowned ghost king, all while hiding.

Then identities get revealed. As in.

"So Jack may not be your biological dad, kids."

Sort of reveal. It's not a big deal, they're surprised, get the info on who it may be, life goes on.

Until the Other reveal happens.

That is a big deal.

But they can't shoot Danny, not after raising him and loving him through all the other changes(wasn't a surprise Ellie was a girl after all), but while they couldn't stand him as this, as what they've hunted all their lives, they can't stand him around either.

So they flee. Jazz was already enrolled in Gotham U, just early trip there, plus Danny.
