Quiet and rainy

I know I have been quiet for a while, but I have been busy with getting but the retired horses and the young horses into their new rutine. A new horse also landed here today. It's a new boarding horse named Hermés, and he is the son of Ysabel's mare BOE Prada. He is 4 years old, and now owned by Ysabel, who needed a new horse after Prada retired earlier this month.

He has been owned by her for about three months, but has been send to another training stable to be broken in, as Ysabel - with her back injury - couldn't do that herself safely.

But now he has arrived, and even if he is still young he is a good boy, and has the best intentions when ridden. Ysabel hopes to enter him in his first dressage show next month or the month after, we will see when precisely later on.

It was definitely hard for Ysabel to retire Prada, but buying her son gave Ysabel the light back in her eyes. She wants to possibly geld him in a few months, as he is still very stallion-y, but we will see, as she possibly want to offer him as stud, if he does well in competitions over the next year or so.

I hope to post more pictures tomorrow or so, as I have some big news to reveal!

Hello, it’s me again!

Hera here. Yes, it's me again. I have been gone for a while, and you know why. My wonderful girlfriend Felina has kept you updated I'm sure. She is great, and quite busy these days taking care of the kids and of me, so I thought I would take over the blogging again.

Anyways I'm here, I'm queer, I'm every-fucking-where. Just kidding. Feline brought me to the stables today! Of course in the wheelchair, as my legs are kind of week, even though I have been to physio therapy quite a lot. But not using your legs for over a week does that to you I guess.

I mean I can walk, but Feline prefers to roll me around, so I will entertain that thought for a little longer.

What I have missed the most after waking up from the coma is of course the horses. Or well, I missed my family the most, but they have been around me since I woke up, the horses have not.

So I asked Athena, if she could take out Aida, and of course she would. She already loves the big horses, just like her sister (Calypso), and enjoys handling them a lot. Even though she will stay riding the smaller ponies for a while more. After all she is only 8 years old, and has the pony years in front of her. Something she will never get back, when she gets older.

I held my hand out for Aida to sniff, and she recognized me instantly, putting her head in my lap, asking for cuddles. I just love that mare <3

How Criston Cole begged for his rapist to marry him and run away with him, so he wouldn’t be killed for failing his celibacy vow, and would be able to restore his honor, if not as a kingsguard, as a married man. Lore Olympus Episode 243 Spoilers

Okay, so no magical infertility-fix.

Just leg-pregnancy.

That's a relief.

And the fact that I can say these sentences and genuinely mean them should tell you all you need to know about how dogshit this story has gotten.

I find it really funny how Zeus is continually raked over the coles by the narrative for his infidelity, but Hades and Hera are just completely let off the hook.

Also, Jesus Christ did this episode need a trigger warning for body horror and gore. There's this series of panels where Persephone cuts baby Dionysus out of Zeus' thigh and there's just blood everyhwere. It's incredibly nasty.

Seems now that Persephone stole a baby we can forget about the child deity who's still stuck in Tartarus with Kronos? We're not even gonna mention them once? Okay then.

God, I hate how Persephone just goes rage mode when Zeus says he's going to leave Dionysus in the care of nymphs. She acts like he just said he was gonna eat the baby alive. Honestly, Zeus' plan here is reasonable. Zeus and Hera are pretty subpar parents. Dionysus would probably be way happier with the nymphs. Recognizing that he's not parent material and leaving the child in the hands of someone more capable actually shows a lot of maturity on Zeus' part.

But no, we have to make Persie look good again, so lets just have her steal the baby and raise it as her own. Even though she has zero experience raising kids, is an emotional basketcase and bends under pressure quicker than a folding chair sat on by an elephant. Even though her hubby has already demonstrated that he's a shitty father and has the emotional maturity of a sixteen year old.

TIME FOR RETIREMENT!

Quite a few of our horses has been retired from shows this month, staring with BOE Mexico Nightmare. This prima Oldenburg mare has been doing quite well in Show Jumping, and also fine in Dressage too. With 42 points in Show Jumping T-Shows. 43 points in Show Jumping, 48 points in Dressage and 65 points in Sportshorse in R-Shows - she has definitely earned her retirement!

The best children's pony in the world has also reached retirement age! BOE Sunny Day aka. Sunny has been the first pony for almost all of our children, and has taught them to ride and love horses. She has been competing in Pony (181 points), Pony Show Jumping (186 points) and Driving (190 points) with the kids, and has had a lot of fun!

With her she takes the titles of The Golden Pony, Nuage and Tandem Champion.

Opaline HF aka. Libby has also earned her retirement! With an overall of 383 points in R-Shows you can say she has done really good. She has competed in Sportshorse (146 points), Show Jumping (142 points) and Dressage (95 points), giving a total of 8 bonus points off to her offsprings!

She has done a lot of good in her time as a show horse (with titles of Supreme Champion, Volant and L'Étoile), and will hopefully enjoy her retirement. Thank you for selling her to us Ian Salvatore!

RRS Caspian has been a personal favorite of mine for sooo long! He has done a lot of good with an overall score of 451 points across disciplines such as Sportshorse (132 points), Show Jumping (172 points) and Dressage (147 points). He has earned the titles of Supreme Champion, Nuage and Danzatore through his career as a show horse.

BOE Rolly Joger aka. Sandokan has been a good boy, definitely deserving his retirement at 403 points across the disciplines. Seeing him compete in Show Jumping (151 points) with Narcisa Foremann has been one of the biggest pleasures in my life. He definitely takes after his sire BOE Sailor Moon, and has done a great job at every show!

Dressage (137 points) wasn't what he enjoyed the most, but he did well there too along with the halter shows for Sportshorses (115 points).

Retirering GE Rosebank was harder than I had thought possible. She is such a good mare, her rider Vigga Hertz can only agree with that, and we are happy to now have an offspring of hers, who can take over after her.

Whether in Sportshorse (181 points), Show Jumping (146 points) or Dressage (170 points) she always did her best. She is such a prima mare of the Hanoverians, and we will probably never get a mare like her again.

BOE Ladykiller shouldn't have been retired this early. Shouldn't have been dead either. Yet he hurt himself so badly at a show that he had to be put down.

He earned himself a few points throughout his lifetime: Turkoman (41 points), Show Jumping (57 points) and Dressage (52 points) - and will give his skills to his sons in hopes that they will remember him, and have the same skill as him in shows.

That was all the horses retired this month!

Look who has woken up! I was allowed to bring Hera home from hospital today. The kids has miss her like heck, and so have I. She deserved a little kiss, before she is going to have a nap. She is still so tired from being in a coma for so long.  

Hopefully she can soon begin standing again, her legs are not damaged, but she has to do some physio therapy first, because she has been lying down for so long.

And while she is sleeping in the chair, Hector is looking out for her of course!

There was chaos in the throne room, the war was supposed to be over. Cregan had marched South after the dragon queen's death to fulfill his oath, and his younger brother Bran had marched with him to avenge his Velaryon lover. Cregan had ended the war, and taken King's Landing, although now the last of the Greens resistance had taken their last stand in the throne before the Iron Seat. Otto was face-to-face with Cregan, Criston between the two, and stood in front of Queen Alicent with his sword pointed at the Wolf's chest. Their warriors held at a stalemate, ready to attack one another at the slightest provocation. Lynesse stood to the side, holding Hera in her arms as people yelled and argued.

"You have no right!" Otto yelled, demanding Cregan to call his men off, to release the city. He began yelling again but stopped as there was a commotion outside the doors of the halls, the sound of fighting, yelling, and shouting. Next the doors of the hall burst open and warriors bearing the Velaryon and Targaryen sigil surged into the room, shoving people aside and cutting down a few of the Green warriors who charged at them.

"What is this?!" Alicent demanded looking at the warriors who stayed back a bit near the doors. However, they slowly started to part as someone stepped through. The warriors parted like water as someone walked into the throne room.

It was Jacaerys.

Dressed in black Targaryen garb, Prince Jacaerys emerged from the crowd, a ghost to all, as he had been presumed dead for nearly a year. He held his head high and his gaze was dark, serious, slightly amused. His hair was longer and curly, one of his eyes was a different color and he had a scar on the left side of his face, near his temple. But it was him nonetheless. He smirked softly and walked towards the throne, approaching Otto, Alicent, and Cole.

"Otto Hightower." Jacaerys breathed out, not looking at anyone else in the room, "How in the seven hells are you still alive?" He asked with a little chuckle, before glancing back at his warriors and gesturing with his head, "Take them. Now." His warriors surged forward and grabbed at the green warriors, who sent Cole to the floor and grabbed Alicent and Otto. Jace slowly turned his gaze to look up at the Iron Throne before slowly walking up the steps and standing before it. "You have no right!" Otto nearly screamed as Jace stood in front of the iron throne. Jacaerys turned smoothly and looked back out at Otto before finally letting his gaze wander over the crowded hall and looking back at Otto.

"I have the only right," Jacaerys said.
