Hi!! Yeah I totally am. (Honestly you could send me asks from a game I posted like a month ago and I'd still answer haha) 1) create a 7 member girl or boy group with existing idols -- Okay so I decided to do both because I had too many ideas in my head. -- For girl group: Sunmi, Chungha, Swan from Purple Kiss, Bibi, Dia from Pixy, Mia from Everglow, and Sori from Cocosori. They would be such a powerhouse of interesting vocals and good dancers, plus Bibi has such a unique image and take that I think would make for such a killer influence on Sunmi, Swan, and Dia's already slightly darker concepts. -- For boy group: Hongjoong from Ateez, Yeonjun from TXT, Donghun from ACE, Hanse from Victon, Cho Seungyoun, Lee Changyoon from ONF, and Woosung from The Rose. Sure, they've got a great balance of vocals, rap, and dance, but more importantly, they are all fashion hoes. Just imagine the styling that would come out of this mix it would be absolutely terrible or absolutely incredible and the two are not mutually exclusive.

9) a group that deserved better </3 -- Ugh there are so many to choose from. B1A4, Pristin, Pentagon, E'last, Rainz, Lightsum, Bugaboo, I could go on, but I think right now, for very obvious reasons, Omega X. No one deserves to go through the abuse they endured, and even now they're going to be fighting a legal battle for who knows how long. They've all been through so much and I'm just really wishing the best for them.

10) song to most likely make you crash your car while driving or get pulled over for speeding -- Good lord Beep Beep from BTOB. I literally had to remove it from one of my playlists because every time it came on while driving the car horns made me Panic.

20) favorite group with a color in the title -- Golden Child! I love their music and I feel like they're so underrated.

32) if you could magically bring back a disbanded group but had to disband another, who would you bring back and who would you disband? -- Oof this is so hard. I think if I could bring a group back, I'd pick Rainz. They really never got any attention at all but their discography was legitimately so good. I really enjoy all the stuff coming from the boys now in their respective groups (specifically WEI, TAN, and Eunki's solo stuff) but I loved their sound when they were together and I'd love to get it back for just a little while. For a group I'd disband, honestly I'd say Blackpink. Their music has felt so flat and repetitive since DduDduDdu, and I Pink Venom in particular felt like such a waste of their performance skills, Jennie especially. Plus, Rose's solo song Hard To Love is so much stronger than the rest of that album, I just really feel like it's time for them to hone their individual colors instead of being churned through Teddy's leftovers.

TSME Week Prompt List!

I needed an excuse to build more on my AniRedux stuff pls don't yeet me

So this is about 2 years after the Hoenn Arc,Wallace and Winona had convinced Steven to go to Kalos since he needed a new Keystone (his old one was stolen by Aqua-Magma and he has been borrowing Wallace's),plus it would be good for him to actually stretch his wings again!

TSME is a bit altered since Alain and Mairin actually meet Steven through Sycamore and it turns into a bit of a Slice of Life with them traveling around until they get to Shalour (Lysandre of course came with since he wanted to study more about Mega Evolution) and Gurkin has Steven re-take the Successor Test by defeating him and Korrina (pretty much Iron Valiant and Cradilly vs Mega Heracross and Mega Lucario)

It ends with him getting a new Keystone and Alain challenging him to see if he is truly worthy of wielding mega evolution again

i dont hate alain over the kalos league bc tbh i dont really care all that much about it since in hindsight ash has now won the literal world championship, and i think the unova league loss was easily far worse in themes, narrative, and tone while ash vs alain is at least a good spectacle even if (from what i remember and what ive seen thus far) the setup is messy as hell, and its not as funny as tobias so i dont really think about it

but man these episodes really have not endeared me to him

ooo what's the most obscure fact you know about historical clothing??

hmm... i don't know if i know a ton of obscure things right off the bat? i know pockets have a v long history haha some used to be external things you would tie onto your outfits

like these! they're pretty big and usually held a ton of everyday objects + you could wear them with multiple outfits. i actually made one for a class once! the project was more about embroidery (which i rly should get back into), but making them was still fun <3

they'd later be incorporated into actual dresses/skirts i believe, and ik some women throughout the 1800s would sew them into their skirts. whenever fashion started becoming sleeker was when pockets disappeared until the 1920s-ish? when women started wearing trousers.

i'd have to fact check myself on it, but i believe it wasn't until after WWII that women really started to lose pockets because fashion favored sleeker images + the rise of purses became a bigger thing. pockets "ruined" the female silhouette so they simply made them smaller and eventually nonexistent.

i could go into more but i'm literally fact checking myself constantly rn lmao i might expand on this more later but the history of pockets is fun :)

I feel like I would never trust Lysandre with a kid for obvious reasons, but at the same time, would probably rank his anime self as "ok" at it given that he seems to treat Mairin pretty well while Alain is out on assignment for him. (Plus, he apparently did plan to let her live since he sent a Grunt to retrieve her. Definitely a blurry line between legitimately appreciating Alain's help enough to accept her as a chosen one, and a useful tool for keeping Alain in line tho.)

Volo constantly ditches work and while I don't think he'd harm a child unless that child has a connection to Arceus (not counting the world erasure thing), I'd fully expect him to dump that kid off on Ginter or Cogita.

It seems from various other media, kids tend to like Cyrus going by Hareta, Dia, and Sophocles. He's not great at it, but he did talk to Sophocles for what's implied to be hours in Masters over their shared interest in machines and technology. I think if he was looking after kids with similar technological interests, he could be pretty decent at it. (He could also fix or walk you thru fixing game systems.)

There's likely been at least one instance where Leon shoved a probably-too-young-to-really-remember Hop off on Rose for a short while while he needed to go do something right quick. He's also probably one of the safest villains to leave your kid with since he's got benevolent intentions, just a lack of patience. I also feel Archer would probably have babysat for Silver as a kid.

Penny just puts on some anime or plays video games with kids, and Piers has plenty of experience from babysitting Marnie when she was young. Archie is also shown to be pretty good with and protective of kids in Masters. Easily the top three.

Part Three of "Earendil Drank the Silmaril" AU- Kidnap Fam edition

M&M do not know that the light of the Silmaril is now part of Earendil, or that his children inherited some of it. Not consciously, anyway. But there is something oddly familiar about the children, when Maglor finds them, alone in the woods.

(The escort Elwing sent them away with hadn't been the most trustworthy, and unfortunately, two frightened children had slowed their progress towards Gil-Galad's camp too much.)

Maglor sees the shining eyes and the light that springs to their fingertips, and assumes that part-Maia children are just like that– he's certainly heard far stranger about Luthien. Maglor was always going to take them in– he'd at least like to think that leaving two defenseless children to die is still beyond him– but there's also something odd. Before he can really think about whether it would be possible to send them to Gil-Galad, he's already dismissed the idea. It slips from his mind like water. He doesn't connect that to the Oath– normally, it's compulsions are violent and impossible to ignore.

(But of course, the Oath knows the truth about Elrond and Elros. M&M always say that it would be impossible to return them to Gil-Galad's camp. They're only right most of the time.)

Still, the story goes on, as it must, and love does grow between Elrond, Elros, and the monsters who care for them. Actually, things do look up for the Feanorians after E&E come to Amon Ereb. The plants grow much more easily, even in the tainted soil. They run into orc patrols less and less. Injuries heal, even when they really shouldn't. Some of the Feanorians speak of divine intervention on behalf of the children, others think that it's the twins' Mairin magic at work. Even the Oath seems to fall silent. M&M put it down to parental love.

(Elrond and Elros are, if not exactly required for the Oath to be fulfilled, then at least close enough to a Silmaril to quiet it for a time.)

None of them ever figure it out. Eventually, Maedhros and Maglor do send their children away, when it's become clear that all that's left for the Feanorians is death and grief.

Maglor watches as they leave, tears in his eyes, and thinks he finally understands what it means to be condemned to eternal darkness, now that his precious little stars are gone.

ok, bc @ariagreenleaf inspired me over on the clock app with the "Mairin and Melkor are Oropher's dads" au, i can't help but put a little spin on it, and see how it would impact my au!

to start of with, in this au, Oropher isn't siblings with Elya (Elwe, Elmo, and Olwe's mother), instead Elya is Cloudryad(Oropher's romantic partner) twin sister. i wanna keep the twin thing going, even though i want to make being descendents of M&M unique to oropher's line.

i personally hc that, as a result of his ancestory, Oropher, and all his descendents, have yellow eyes with a black slit of a pupil, instead of round, courtesy of Mairon. Oropher, Thranduil, Miriel, and Thranduil's kids keep these hidden with illusion magic and contact lenses bc it's way to revealing of their ancestory to other elves, espescially if those elves have met Mairon.

Oropher loves his parents, but he doesn't like them. espescially in the beginning. he doesn't agree with what his fathers are doing. he understands that it's largely a result of Eru taunting Melkor with the whole "i have designed your every move, nothing you do isn't part of my plan, you have no true free will" schtick, and as a result Oropher, and his descendants, HATE Eru. like, it's personal for them.

however, that doesn't mean that Oropher thinks his parents should have gone off the deep end. bc logistically, it just doens't make sense to him. if you wanna stick it to eru, there are so many ways you could do that WITHOUT attempt at world domination/destruction, wich will inevitable catch the attention of the other valar and fail somewhere down the line. also, oropher has never been one for undeserved/unnecesary deaths. he has no issue dealing death out when he deems it deserved, but he isn't a fan of going out of his way to kill beings that have never even met him.

Oropher isn't particularly nice, but this disagreement is the main cataclyst of the rift that grows between parents and child, and eventually Oropher can't take it anymore.

what ultimatly breaks the camel's back is when oropher ends up spending time with the elves at lake cuivienen, and he meets cloudryad.

they were enemies at first (as is true to my original au) and they genuinly tried to fight/kill each other.... but then they clicked. enemies to lovers, as you will. n e way, Cloudryad knocked some sense into him (literally) though it should be noted that Cloudryad aint a saint either.

and then the 2 had Miriel and Thranduil.

Mairon and Morgoth wanted Oropher back, but when he redused, they sent an orc party after the grandbbies (mayby to kill them, maybe to capture them, maybe bc they want grandbby priveleges too, idk. it adds flavor, if oropher doesn't truelly know why his parents sent creatures to get to his kids).

Oropher and cloudryad beat them off, obviously, but Oropher is done with his parents at that point. his emotions are a mess, he loves them, but he dislikes them right now, and he doesn't know if he loves or hates them at this point either.

continuing, Thranduil and Miriel grow up into a pair of terrifying warriors, and while they do have their own distinctive personality, oropher can identify some aspects of his parents in them too. Miriel is like a fiery blaze, unwilling to bend or break, just like Melkor, and Thranduil is calmer, more likely to slit your throat from behind than to attack you from the front, like Mairon.

of course Cloudryad keeps Oropher in line (via a few loving knockes in sparing matches), and the kids grow up semi-safe (if you think that's the last of M&M, you're wrong.)

i'll create a part 2 later.

(*At least one-sidedly in the original, in as much as protagonist ships can be canon in Pokemon, aha--Manon bluntly tells Alan he's her type during their first meeting, even awful Fleurdelys even calls her Alan's "unusually tiny girlfriend," as well as implying she's the "seed of doubt" planted into Alan threatening his plans... and albeit in a platonic way, dub Alain calls Mairin, Chespie, and Professor Sycamore the ones he loves ^^)

They're adorable, funny, heartbreaking, endearing, and I think they'd be super cute as a couple when they're older. ^^

Just HANNIBAL right now (and for like the last seven years or so). Been vaguely thinking about picking up a second but nothing has caught my interest strongly enough.

I try to, and I enjoy doing so, but sometimes the brainworms win and I don't get stuff done even when I really want to.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Breathless

I don't love this story, but "Hannibal is effectively braindead after the fall, but Will keeps caring for the body and feels that Hannibal is there with him, up until the body dies and Will turns himself in because there isn't any point anymore" probably counts as the most angsty? If you are in the market for a "Hannibal receives a brain injury and he, along with everyone else around him, has to cope with that" story Tina's For Remembrance (Holes in the Floor of the Mind) is a much better pick. And as I continue to think about it, Means of Influence has a pretty angsty ending.

7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of my stories have slightly bittersweet but still mostly happy endings. Part of the thing about that is I think it's really hard to envision a situation where Will is like 100% Happy Happy, his own mind hates him too much and every little scrap of happiness needs to be fought for and then vigilantly guarded. But I put both him and Hannibal through so much that I always want them to be as close to content as they each can be.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have gotten two flavors of Fic Hate. 1.) People calling the five year old kid OC in ATTACHMENT slurs like "r*tard" and saying "he belongs in jail" and etc.

Every time Hannibal or Will fuck someone who isn't each other at least one person decides to Yell At Me.

I think I've gotten the old "you didn't tag for bottom Hannibal!!" nonsense once or twice too, but who hasn't?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

A little. I actually started Hannishark bc I was really intimidated by sex scenes and wanted to see if I could pull off a short monsterfucker story. I feel like I've gotten better at writing these but am generally more comfortable leaving them sparce on anatomical details and big on feelings/conversations.

10. Do you write crossovers? If so, what's the craziest one?

I've got a WRONG TURN crossover series that I'm very proud of here: Bear Mountain Road AU. You don't need to have seen any of the movies to read it, or anything, the movies' premise of "a clan of inbred mountain cannibals waylays travelers" is really just an excuse to put Hannibal (and Will and D, as child members of the cannibal family) In Situations. If I counts as a cross over, I've got a universe swap between the novels and NBC HANNIBAL here: Shiloh

I also have a vague idea for a SAW / HANNIBAL crossover but I've been sitting on that for so long, who knows if it'll ever happen?

i havent actually seen the rest of the mega evolution specials but i can’t say that im disappointed with the second one tbh! knowing what comes later, i’m very invested in alain and lysandre’s relationship and that in context with professor sycamore. that aspect of the specials is carrying it so far for me
