I have made a couple of adjustments to this old work, it now looks a bit more readable? I realized I don't do well with dark backgrounds because I could not tell how dark it is, if it's to the point I could not see anything. 😅😅😅 Which sucks, there are so much ideas to work with dark scenes. 😓 I hope to improve on this faster, figuring out a technique so I don't have to make it a habit of going back on a supposed finished drawing just to make it clearer.

very excited to start my TWO (2) web design classes and learn even more ways to make the whole ebony thing even more unnecessarily complicated so i'm looking at some of the syllabi early and oh good lord i fear one of my professors has the same tastes as me in terms of making a website look cool with awesome colors and patterns which would be awesome if he didn't also forget to make sure it isn't slightly miserable to try to use in its intended context on different screen sizes

I am. SO tired of video captions like "sound on!!!" and "you have to listen to this the delivery really makes it". It's tasteless. There's a hundred reasons someone isn't going to be able to listen to the sound, disability very much included. Explain WHY the sound is funny, for fucks sake. So I've been collecting dolls for a bit now, I'm not good about updating about them but I did want to post about my newest addition, Rochelle! Got her in good condition, with most of her stuff - but there is a detail I want to ask about to other doll collectors! Specifically the bracelet she came with!

It looks like it has a floral print on it, with skulls(?) on either end before and after the "buckle" so I was assuming it's still Monster High - and maybe it is. But I combed through some likely suspects and no one had a brown bracelet on any of their outfits that I could tell, and I quickly felt overwhelmed.

Is there anyone out there who recognizes who this bracelet belongs to? I'd like to find out - it's almost like a cute little cinderella situation, and I think I'd like to hunt down the owner of the bracelet so they can be 'reunited' :3c

Hot take but a light theme > a bad dark theme... when people use jet black and brightest white... it hurts... and so hard to read... need a softer grey, or a slightly darker white...

Pro tip: At least on Windows 10, using a high contrast theme turns off a lot of the unnecessary resource-intensive graphics displays!

(Plus, high contrast themes are great for visual accessibility, and easier on the eyes if you're photosensitive like me, because it defaults things to light text on a dark background.)

i thought my laptop was on its last leg because it was running at six billion degrees and using 100% disk space at all times and then i turned off shadows and some other windows effects and it was immediately cured. i just did the same to my roommate's computer and its performance issues were also immediately cured. okay. i guess.

so i guess if you have creaky freezy windows 10/11 try searching "advanced system settings", go to performance settings, and uncheck "show shadows under windows" and anything else you don't want. hope that helps someone else.

ANYWAYS, wrong blog but, as I was re-reading the manga, I noticed that s.asori didn't even use his 298 human puppets in the fight against c.hiyo and s.akura, he only used 100, that is taking only the manga into consideration where its noticeable that he still has 2 scrolls left to use attached to his back, and assuming each of the last 3 scrolls contain 100 puppets each /as the one he released was the one from where he summoned the 100 puppets he used in the fight/ (the last scroll would only be missing two puppets to complete the last hundred which would have been c.hiyo and s.akura probably) and this paired up with the fact that he could have avoided the final attack by the mother and father puppets makes me think that he really wasn't giving up his full potential (which is something that lit chiyo says) but it just makes me think that there's even more details to add to that reasoning;; now the reasons why he just basically let himself be k.illed can be argued, but one thing for sure is that he definitely had more tricks under his sleeve that he just willingly decided not to use (be it out of pride/underestimating his opponents, or something leaning on the very small bit of humanity left on him & the reason he is an 'incomplete' puppet in the poetical sense)

Bucky watches from his position on the bed as you unzip your cocktail dress, the fabric falling from your shoulders and to the floor around your feet. He lays back against the headboard, his hands crossed behind his head. His eyes roam from the strappy heels that you have yet to shed and up your legs until his eyes settle on the black lace thigh holster that connects to a garter belt and matching panties.

You remove the small pistol from the holster, placing it on the dresser beside you before stepping away from the pool of burgundy colored satin at your feet. You crawl onto the bed, the peaks of your breasts threatening to spill out of your bra. You look up at him with a raised brow, still awaiting an answer to your question.

“It was,” he hums. “Can’t say I ever saw anything quite like this, though.”

He’s never seen anything quite like you is what he’s really thinking, but he bites his tongue. His feelings for you are far from being a secret, but he sometimes worries that if he truly spoke his mind every time he thought about how attractive he finds you, he’d never shut up.

His words are still true, though. He’d seen plenty of silk nightgowns and camisoles, but this – the intricate floral embroidery, the lace-lined edges of the cups of your bra, and the way the tight material accentuates every one of your curves just right – this is new territory for him.

“Never?” you quip. You crawl over him, positioning yourself across his lap. His hands come to rest on either side of your hips, the contrasting warmth of flesh and iciness of vibranium eliciting goosebumps across your exposed skin. “Not even online?”

He digs the tips of his fingers into the meat of your hips with the faintest amount of pressure. He doesn’t miss the way it makes you squirm, your clothed center nudging against the growing bulge concealed by his jeans.

He laughs, confident that you’d do just that. Considering the fact that you had been teasing him during a mission just a few hours prior, he doesn’t doubt for a second that you’d be more than happy to utilize technology to make him flustered.

“Tempting,” he admits. He dips a metal finger under the waistband of your panties, toying with it before lightly popping it against your skin. “But I have a hard time believing that pictures could do the real thing justice.”

You roll your eyes, playfully poking him in a spot between his ribs that you know to be ticklish. “You’re no fun.”

As swiftly as he can, he flips you so that you’re now pinned between him and the mattress. You look up at him with wide eyes, taken off guard by the sudden change in positions. Still, you automatically spread your legs enough for him to lay between them. He hovers above you, his gaze trailing from the mounds of your breast that peak out from the confines of the lacy bra and up to your lips.

He sits back on his knees, pulling your thigh back so he can grab one of your feet in his hands. He slowly slips the high heel off, not taking his eyes off of you as he tosses it behind him on the bed. He repeats the motion with your other foot, and presses a chaste kiss to the inside of your ankle.

“I'm no fun, huh? Does that mean you don’t want to sit on my face?”

Teasing you a little won’t hurt, he supposes. You’re normally the one dishing it out, and he’s normally the one blushing like a school girl – but he’s got to admit, he likes the way you’re looking at him right now. His heightened senses pick up on the familiar scent of your arousal and your quickened heart rate. He doesn’t need you to vocalize how you’re feeling or what you want; your body gives you away.

“Are you gonna take all of this off of me, or am I gonna have to?”

Your voice is teasing, but Bucky doesn’t miss the edge of impatience that slips through. He chuckles, taking one last, long look at the frilly undergarments. He likes them a lot, he can’t deny it – but he likes you without them even more.

I think the most damning thing about this is that if you check Discord's Twitter, they're replying to anyone criticizing the new app layout by explicitly telling them to leave their complaints through the feedback section. They also seem to be suppressing new reviews on Google Play - the most recent reviews I can see are from two days ago, right before the outcry started.

They're trying to get people to shut up about it, call me optimistic but that to me seems like it's working.

So yeah, keep posting about it, don't make them think we're just going to sit and take it. Maybe nothing will happen, but at the very least we need to make sure people see it

re: the new discord mobile update, I keep seeing people shouting "send feedback!! tell them you don't like it!!" and honestly? Y'all gotta stop deluding yourselves LOL

Feedback sections like that get ignored. Maybe if Discord was in the business of making changes to benefit its users they would listen, but that's not what they're here to do. The Discord mobile update is here to do one thing and one thing only, and that's to appease stockholders so they can point to the new UI and say "see? look! we're doing things!"

A social media outcry is going to be far more effective than using the in-app feedback option, because social media can't be ignored. If we all played their game and kept our feedback in-app, they could sweep the dissatisfaction under the rug and pretend that there's tons of people who secretly love the changes. It's infinitely more useful to shout about it in a public facing manner so they can't ignore the problem. A public outcry affects their stocks. Feedback through the official channels does not.

The reality is that this update is probably here to stay, because reverting it would mean they wasted a bunch of money developing it, and wasting money is not what stockholders want to hear. Maybe they'll tiptoe back individual features piece by piece, but that's the best we could even hope for. Don't treat Discord like a poor little well-meaning indie company that accidentally pushed an update people didn't enjoy. This was purely to appease investors at the expense of the userbase. They don't care if we like it.
