Still obsessed with @starry-bi-sky ‘s Childhood Friends au so here’s a quick ghost design I did for Danny and Jason as teens.

Fuck it i gave up on colouring fully- drawing on the phone version of clip studio sucks ass, its like so much more work. Like its good for sketches, but its shit for colouring and shading which is why i have literally only been posting sketches

So I've been collecting dolls for a bit now, I'm not good about updating about them but I did want to post about my newest addition, Rochelle! Got her in good condition, with most of her stuff - but there is a detail I want to ask about to other doll collectors! Specifically the bracelet she came with!

This isn't her default bracelet, I know that much - but I can't identify who it belongs to?

It looks like it has a floral print on it, with skulls(?) on either end before and after the "buckle" so I was assuming it's still Monster High - and maybe it is. But I combed through some likely suspects and no one had a brown bracelet on any of their outfits that I could tell, and I quickly felt overwhelmed.

Is there anyone out there who recognizes who this bracelet belongs to? I'd like to find out - it's almost like a cute little cinderella situation, and I think I'd like to hunt down the owner of the bracelet so they can be 'reunited' :3c

Edit: it's been figured out, the bracelet belongs to Skelita's Scaris doll!

#tokusummer #the high school heroes #sentai #burning himself to keep others warm #if you are too bright to look at no one can look too close #this guy has a lot of things going for him #1. he's the motw for THE trans episode of all time #2. because of this he is absolutely chock full of 'living a lie' symbolism and its very well done imo #3. he gets some beautiful shots with amazingly dramatic lighting and contrast that really add to the theme of the episode #4. love when light ≠ good + burning it all down so something better can be reborn from the ashes #5. sentai alumni actor #idk i just love how accurately this episode captures the pain and fear that comes with wanting to be seen #but knowing that means actually letting people see you #also he does kai's henshin pose 10/10

reason number idontevenknowanymore why i prefer copy/pasted tags over screenshots: even aside from being not screen reader accessible there's no theme of tumblr that's accessible for everyone, and if i am not on top of my energy reading the purple text on dark background is really fucking difficult

Hot take but a light theme > a bad dark theme... when people use jet black and brightest white... it hurts... and so hard to read... need a softer grey, or a slightly darker white...

no genuinely i fucking quit writing novels bc my english teacher always gave me a grade under everyone else bc the plotline was too complex or it was too much

my writing was decent AT LEAST like i poured my heart out into that shit and it was usually a form of allegory for something that i went through

#the narrative i wrote for my gcses was about samael having a breakdown over its abuser #and gradually going from high and mighty and godlike to HIGHLY sensitive and small #and it uses the symbol of tearing down a statue to represent trying to get over how he feels #and it BANGED. i dont have it anymore but it was SO GOOD.#but yeah she literally tried to get me to cut out the most emotional part of the narrative bc it wasnt needed #and literally complained about me describing pointless things too much (i described the setting as being grey and boring to contrast.)#THERE WAS SOME RLLY GOOD FUCKING LINES IN THERE #the fact razor and sylvains relationship was a way for me to project me grooming trauma + a lot of the narrative focused on this #kiiiinda makes it worse. like my teachers knew i got groomed and it absofuckinglutely showed in my writing.#thank you for ruining my love of writing!!!#my english teacher whines abt ppl not looking deep enough into shit #and then when i use fairly obvious metaphors to represent that razor is a god + dictator it goes over her head #and then when the theming is generally about trauma she ignores it #'this is very political' i fucking know thats the point #I SHOWED IT TO MY *PHYSICS* TEACHER AND SHE FUCKING LOVED IT.#GOD BLESS MY PHYSICS TEACHER SHE POINTED OUT MY FAVE LINE AND WENT 'oh my god i love this bit'#MISS DUDLEY THE TEACHER EVER

You’re right about the themes, i feel bad for having it influence my decision to read a fic or not. I read mostly from my phone so fonts and colors don’t matter too much, but sometimes i cannot help but judge a fic by its header and by how the text is formatted :’)

The way a writer formats their masterlist is also very important tbh, there are masterlists that are really hard to navigate because of weird text formatting or really huge or elaborate headers/subheaders. I get frustrated too when someone’s navigation is full of links where the text does not relate to the hyperlink (the link is for their masterlist for example but the hyperlinked text is some random phrase related to their theme) so i have to click through all the links to find what i’m looking for. Sorry i’m saying so much because it’s actually been bothering me but i’m not trying to sound like an entitled reader (sorry too if i do sound like that..)

If you’re actually asking tho i like your theme and the way you format your fics! Particularly your headers. Also your nav/pinned post is very straightforward so i can just go straight to whichever part of your blog

yeah i totally get feeling a little entitled when disliking someone's blog because of its organization, but also.....as someone who has a couple of writing blogs, i know how easy it is to just have a very easy-to-navigate blog, yknow?

and i totally get headers putting you off a fic gkktg feels a little mean to let that influence how i feel about a fic, but it is what it is

and thanks! part of the reason behind the simplicity of my navigation is just laziness, and part of it is my need for simple organisation lol i like straight-to-the-point systems

ANYWAYS, wrong blog but, as I was re-reading the manga, I noticed that s.asori didn't even use his 298 human puppets in the fight against c.hiyo and s.akura, he only used 100, that is taking only the manga into consideration where its noticeable that he still has 2 scrolls left to use attached to his back, and assuming each of the last 3 scrolls contain 100 puppets each /as the one he released was the one from where he summoned the 100 puppets he used in the fight/ (the last scroll would only be missing two puppets to complete the last hundred which would have been c.hiyo and s.akura probably) and this paired up with the fact that he could have avoided the final attack by the mother and father puppets makes me think that he really wasn't giving up his full potential (which is something that lit chiyo says) but it just makes me think that there's even more details to add to that reasoning;; now the reasons why he just basically let himself be k.illed can be argued, but one thing for sure is that he definitely had more tricks under his sleeve that he just willingly decided not to use (be it out of pride/underestimating his opponents, or something leaning on the very small bit of humanity left on him & the reason he is an 'incomplete' puppet in the poetical sense)

#;ooc #;headcanons #when i was little i thought it was so unfair that they got rid of him so quickly; but now i can see more sides to it #not only the whole 'he let himself be k.illed' but also the teamwork of c.hiyo and s.akura; looking at it now as im older #i can understand it better; i mean i still think that fight should have lasted 475456895 ages but realistically speaking #theres so many drawings u can include in a volume until ur forced to keep publishing the main storyline #what defeated him was something more thematic; the teamwork; the deep reliance c.hiyo and s.akura were able to form #something that goes completely against s.asori; of relying on others #i love this one video that pointed this out bc its so true; its not a matter of quantity vs quality when it comes to their fight #bc s.asori did n o t just go around turning anyone and everyone he faced into puppets; he clearly states that the ones he makes #come from strong individuals / his puppets are of very very high quality #or like how in the ps3 game he mentions after getting rid of a village how there was 'barely anyone' he could use as material #ANYWAYS!!the point is that even with this advantage; what s.asori lacked was the teamwork aspect; his puppets acted individually #compared to c.hiyo & s-akura's teamwork and c.hiyo's 10 puppets that worked in cooperation #and how this reflects the contrasting growth of grandma and grandson #s.asori not relying on c.hiyo after his paren'ts death #and c.hiyo having this same mentality when it comes to other villages and people #but then growing to trust others; rely on others #meanwhile s.asori kept to himself all the time #puppetry themes my beloved...#the first scroll was used for the fire abilities #in the anime; he wastes a second one to use water; but this doesn't happen in the manga originally #and i think it makes more sense to me #bc like;; why wouldnt he just release all his 298 puppets??#i just summ up the firs scroll with water and fire #and the last 3 are the 300 (actually 298) puppets; each scroll having 100 puppets #anyways he's super cool; like c.hiyo was famous for her technique to use a puppet with each finger but #s.asori can use 1 0 0 and i like to think; could use the 300 as well #and all that chakra is contained in that small lil tube containing basically his soul

Im a dark theme truther. In that I think that despite people always saying that light themes are an eyesore, both dark themes and light themes are usually eyesores because its always some shit like #ffff white text on a #0000 black background please lower the contrast PLEASE! or make it an option in the settings.

#whats most surprising for me is that obsidian themes often have the same problem #even though theyre made by people out of passion #its like Whoa. another fucking gray/black theme with unnecessarily high contrast?? how innovative!
