Was looking through some old pictures and found these 2 pictures back from 2015 and 2018 (top 2).
Compare that to the 3rd picture (start of 2021) and I really hadn’t made much progress across those years despite “working out”.
I had never really pushed myself and my nutrition was always my downfall.
However start of 2021 I decided to buckle down - I pushed myself with workouts and focussed on cleaning up my diet (while still enjoying the goodness of chocolate!).
And now September 2022 - here I am now. A long way to go, but it’s always a good reminder to see how far you’ve already come! Onwards and upwards!
Readjusting form to better target the intended muscles and reduce potential for injury. Mirrors in gyms are for more than just looking at your progress and flexing in. They are very helpful in allowing you to see how you are lifting the weight, your range of motion and overall body positioning and stance.
Glacier! This Cross Training blend combines the two most popular colors, grey and blue. It’s a top seller because the “cool” color combination is compatible with most fitness area designs. The blend provides just enough color to capture some attention without overwhelming one’s visual field. Explore more at US Rubber! #homegymflooring #sportsflooring #rubbergymflooring
I had never experienced the mental stability before as what came with BODi for me, back in 2019. It's not just the workouts, though honestly they help me so much since I am some one who wholly enjoys movement, but it's also the community and support that comes with it!! The personal development is such a game changer!! It all adds up to having a flexible mood and the ability to be open to new experiences, which is fantastic when you're somewhat introverted, like me. Not saying there isn't still days where we all struggle bit even on those days, I'm proud of me! I'm proud of you accomplishments!
I think this post is getting away from me a bit but I'm officially on winter break from school, enduring frigid temperatures tonight & tomorrow & feeling ready for Christmas 🎄 so I thought I'd share some positivity!!
Reach out to me if you'd like to learn more about our community just in time for 2023!!! 🙏
Throwback Thursday to some pretty big accomplishments in my little home gym. It’s not always about what you have to work with. If you set your mind to it, progress is always possible working with what you have. Wether that’s a gym membership, your own equipment or just the body you already live in.
