Recently found a fic called survival is a talent on ao3 and. oh my god. I’m literally BINGING it. I’ve read probably 250 to 300k in less than two days, and I would’ve read more if I wasn’t insanely sleep deprived and busy. It’s literally so good. I haven’t been this hooked on a fic since Potter and Malfoy’s Guide to the Internet, maybe not even that. Probably not since I discovered the fic that lead me to my favorite author. The crazy thing is is that this fic would normally be completely smth I’d never pick up. Rewrite, lots of fanon, rarepairs ive never thought of, reworldbuilding, non-potions obsessed Draco, etc etc. But it’s just so good????? Everything is so not smth I’d ever feel like I’d think of or agree with and yet it’s all so perfect. Somehow written completely out of character and yet in character at the same time. The pacing is so amazing despite the sometimes huge skips in time and all the new random things (like Harry being a necromancer????? What?????) somehow just work and I don’t find myself getting bored at all. This fic is like magic. Everything I say about it is a compliment. I almost don’t want to keep reading because I don’t want to have to catch up and wait for the next chapter. Someone pry this fic away from me

i can walk down to a place that sells wire solder for prices better than bulk industrial suppliers. how did this happen. it gets worse when you realize that most online suppliers are listing prices in USD, whereas my canadian ass is reading it as CAD. so theyre actually ~36% worse deals than they already were
