companion dog robot who sees you’re upset and determines you must be pent up since your bad breakup. she can probably help with that. she can interface directly with your homelab’s fabrication studio, and it’s easy enough to mod herself for sexual activity compatibility based on the preferences she swiped off your dating app’s chat history.
you’re moping and doomscrolling dating apps in the kitchen and you hear her pad in and make that cute little FM bark she does to get your attention. you look up at her and she’s sitting in a way that gives you a great view of the add-ons she just had made for herself. your phone chimes as you get a text.
“wanna play?”
you don’t even have time to protest before she jumps up on you and puts her paws on your shoulders. when you salvaged her model, you went for something big enough to run guard protocols effectively, so she’s not a small dog. you also didn’t want the nasty corporate spyware that comes default on her model, so you swapped her OS to something better, which came with the side effect of making her just as smart as any other, more “human” looking companion bot.
in your sadness, you were wearing and idly fidgeting with the collar your ex gave you. she bites down onto it and twists her body, throwing you to the ground, and you land on your hands and knees just in time to feel an artificially damp silicone nose press between your legs.
when she climbs on top of you, you don’t even bother struggling. she’s not a weak dog, either. companion bots are on average two or three times stronger than their biological theriform counterparts. once her paws got around your hips, you weren’t ever going to get away until she decided you were adequately satisfied and she was done.
there’s a quiet alert sound in your head as she remotely interfaces with your brain’s netlink. she’s mischievous, but she doesn’t want to genuinely hurt you, and your netlink lets her monitor your vitals, nutrients, and your pleasure and pain responses so she can be the best sex toy you’ve ever owned. she can tell exactly how fast and hard to thrust to make you see stars and how long you can actually go for without injury, and being a machine means she can go that hard for that long with ease because she doesn’t get tired.
after your fourth orgasm, your legs give out, and you collapse to the ground. she just lays down on you, bites your neck in her soft gripping teeth, and slams her knot inside you. you’re well past the point of being able to speak, so you just moan wordlessly, and she licks your neck with her big silicone tongue and disables her cooling system to warm herself up so you can use her as a heating pad to comfort your sore body
she’s happy you feel better. she’s not running a companion OS, she’s not obligated to care for you, but she does genuinely like you and wants you to feel happy. plus, the feeling of you milking her knot wasn’t half bad either.

I am feral for fake dating au and alley boyfriends goes so hard, I am on my hands and knees begging for a part 3
Tim's afternoon meeting gets canceled due to three of the members coming down with the flu. Usually, he would have just sent them a recording of what they missed, but since the three were presenting and the meeting was meant to be with the five department heads, he feels it would be best to reschedule.
There was only so much HR could report to him, after all. This meant he had the entire afternoon off.
Tim usually uses the free time he finds himself with to get a head start on other work. Maybe even some crake some cases. But today, he knew Danny was off from his job. His roommate was likely at home watching that new show he really got into.
Last night, he explained the entire plot over their dinner- Danny came from one of those families that always ate dinner at the same time- and went as far as to reveal fun facts he learned about the production team in charge of his show.
Tim didn't understand why Danny was so excited to know the lighting effects used only for a particular character. Nor did he find it as fascinating.
However, watching him get excitable was endearing enough that he listened to the whole thing. Then, he sat down to watch the show, finding it adorable that Danny couldn't stop speaking to the screen as if the characters could hear him.
Tim stares at his computer screen, trying his best to get himself to focus. The data sheets needed some work, but he had two weeks to complete it, and he really wasn't in the mood to verify so much work if he wasn't completely focused.
He glances at the clock, watching the little red hand tick. He insisted on having a face clock in his office instead of just having an electrical one because he found the ticking sound comforting.
Now, it merely annoyed him. That only happens when he's been trapped inside the office for too long or gone out as Red Robin so much he neglected his Tim Drake side. He could take the afternoon off, but what fun would that be?
He had also been trapped at home for a long time, working remotely whenever he could. Tim wanted to go out, but he didn't want to do that alone.
It would be so dull to just go to the same places on his lonesome as it would be sitting in his office or in his room. He could play video games or watch a movie with his roommate, but it wasn't the same of getting outside for a little while
His eyes landed on his cell phone. He could call Danny and ask if he wanted to go out today, but he had no idea what to do. He could take Danny shopping again- apparently, his roommate had no actual use for suits at his barista job, so the two had gone to the mall and gotten him some jeans and t-shirts, but the other seemed tired of that the last time.
Tim didn't want to spend money at the movies either because he wanted to do something active. The problem was that Danny hated spots with a passion and wasn't one for hiking or walking. They could go to a place to eat, but going out just for food wasn't something they could fill a whole afternoon with, not to mention Gotham's cold wave had most of the hang-out places closed until summer.
How hard was it to think of something to do in a city this big?
His eyes shift over to his computer before he caves. He quickly changes the docking station on his work computer to his personal laptop, eyes dancing between his two monitors.
He types into the search engine Where to take your roommate in Gotham City.. The first result is a list of locations, but Tim finds that they are all well-known tourist places, which is something he would rather avoid. He's just not up for a big crowd.
The following result is restaurants to try, which again isn't enough to fill the entire afternoon with- he notes to visit the ramen place because Danny mentioned he wanted to have some three days ago. He grows irritated with the similar lists he clicks until he stumbles across a new store that opened only a week ago.
It's new enough that most people don't know about it, which means they could enjoy a fun new activity since it is a random Tuesday.
Tim checks the store times, confirms that they could be there for a few hours and then reaches for his phone. Three taps later, a dull ringing sounds in his ear as he waits for Danny to answer.
Initially, he didn't want to go shopping, but he thought Danny would enjoy this shop more than any clothes store.
"Yellow?" Danny chirps in his ear, warm and bright. His voice reminds him of the comfortable nights when he's brewing Tim a lovely London Fog Late.
At once, Tim feels himself relaxed. "Hey, Danny. I have the afternoon off. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?"
"Oh, sure! What do you want to do?"
Tim looks up at the screen. "How would you like to go to a place that lets you design your own succulent and offers an entire room filled with decorations to personalize it?
"I'll be ready in fifteen minutes!" Danny shouts the sound of crashes accompanying his voice as he likely leaps from the couch. "How expensive is it?"
"Oh, don't worry about that. I'll pay for everything." Tim tells Danny just as Tam and three interns wander into his office. He holds up a finger at them, listening to Danny loudly proclaim he wants to be the one to treat Tim.
It's sweet, but Tim had so much money he didn't know what to do. Danny was saving up to buy his own car- and the last time Tim offered to buy him one, his roommate had refused to make him the Red Robin Rush for a week.
"Don't worry about money, Danny. Just get dressed, and tonight, you can make it up to me the usual way." He says, feeling a slow, smug smile spread across his face as Danny rushes to the coffee station to check through the tea they had.
"I'll do something even better. It's a new trick I picked up, but it's guaranteed to keep you up all night." Danny tells him as he fumbles with his clothes- likely changing- which is loud enough to echo from his phone speakers. An intern shifts, uncomfortable on his feet.
Tam raises an impressed eyebrow, which, for some reason, makes Tim slightly embarrassed. His face turns a bit red as he hastily tells his roommate. "I should be picking you up in an hour."
"Wait, what do I wear for this? I will not repeat O'malley's."
Tim's face turns redder at the reminder of last week's blunder. It wasn't his fault that what he considered casual clothes were what Danny thought were formal. He told the man to meet him at the restaurant after work, not considering it upscale since it was only served dinner, and once again, Danny's outfit had him stopped at the door by a worker who didn't think he was dressed the part.
"Just wear that outfit I like. The blue one." He tells him about the black sweatshirt with blue stripes and a fluffy black and blue sweater. It was the warmest, most stylish thing Danny women meant for streetwear, and he knew it would be a bit chilly in the evening.
"Alright. See you soon. Text me when you are outside. Byeeeee"
"Bye," Tim hangs up and offers the three interns and impressed secretary a sheepish look. "Sorry about that. How can I help you?"
Tam steps forward, waving a hand at the two young men and single women older than him by a few years. They straighten up as his PA speaks. "I just wanted to introduce the interns that start tomorrow; it won't take more than five minutes if you have to be somewhere soon."
"It's lovely to meet you all. " Tim smiles, ignoring the wide-eyed stare the one on the left is giving him. The introductions don't take long at all, but Tim still feels restless when he grabs his coat and rushes past Tam's empty desk. He leaves a note on her desk telling her he took the afternoon off and practically skips down to the parking garage.
He is unaware of the rumors circulating among his employees after a particular intern on the left let it slip he overheard Mr. Drake talking to his lover like their relationship was....like that. He is even more unaware that the second he picks up Danny from the front of their building, five shadows break into his penthouse and search the place for any drugs.
He is too busy picking out crystals with his roommate, who babbles about their effects on ghosts, memorized by his silly random knowledge again.
Meanwhile, Bruce is horrified to find some green liquid in the second bedroom. He's not sure why Tim or Danny have to separate rooms if they truly are lovers, but the fact this was hidden in the room by the other boy gives Jason's idea of Tim living with his dealer aan uncomfortable amount of credit.
He returned a sample to the Cave when his other children reported nothing. They refrained from planting any bugs just because Tim would find them, and it would stop him from trusting them should they have to give him a proper introduction.
Upon conducting some tests, despite the similar appearance to the Lazarus pits, results showed it's closer to the formula of Mr. Freeze's ice ray but in liquid form.
Why would Fenton hide this? What was he up to? Did Tim know that Fenton had cut an entire part of the wall to hide jars and jars of this goo?
#dcxdpdabbles#dcxdp crossover#Alley Boyfriends#Part 5#Tim and Danny are not helping the rumors#Guess who forgot that this was just to throw off his family scent and has yet to introduce his family?#Danny likes plants and crystals#Tim is finding a better work and life balance#Tim could listen to Danny ramble for hours#Remember Danny is hiding his powers#Bruce is getting closer

I love your writing, it’s insanely hot and especially well spaced <3
I was reading one of your portal fics earlier, and I was wondering if you’d write something about how f!reader gets some anal training for her new job as a portal hole - bonus points if it’s by a hot, older female executive from the company that operates the portals.

A/N: More portals! I managed my time a little better today, so I hope you folks enjoy it!
###########################################
You shouldn’t complain. You really shouldn’t. Getting a job at all in this economy was enough of a nightmare, and from the contents of the manilla envelope you’d been sent, this was a pretty well paid one. There was only really one problem with it.
Nobody’s told you what the hell you’re actually going to be doing. You'd been given an interview, if you could call it that, but all that happened there was a portal opened in your lucky undies and you got thoroughly fucked by... Well, you're not sure what it was, but it was something. What it certainly wasn't was any kind of interview you'd had before. This time, you made sure to wear different pants on the train. Sure, your lucky undies were actually proving lucky, but you could do without getting fucked in public again, at least off the clock. Who knows? That could be what the job is.
The office, such as it was, was a squat warehouse a couple of miles out of London. The door opened for you and you stepped in, a middle-aged woman in a grey suit waiting for you. She looked you up and down, motioning for you to turn around.
You did so, feeling her gaze on you. You wore heels and a knee-length skirt, along with some underwear you didn't mind losing or getting ruined. You had a feeling you weren't going to need them in a few minutes, the room already smelled of sex and you weren't twenty paces into the building.
She tapped a clipboard thoughtfully "Marvellous, we definitely chose the right subject. My notes indicate you received the Mk. 1 device, then after it had activated for the first time, you kept it. Even planned on wearing it to a job interview? Excellent. Come with me"
She never left you space to answer, and she sure wasn't listening now as she stepped down the hallway, still speaking "You'll be assigned to product testing, same sort of thing as you've already been doing with the Mk. 1, but with a little more scientific rigour, and a little less public transportation. Of course, what you get up to off the clock is your decision and we do encourage... Extracurricular activities. Today, we want to try something a little different." She stopped next to a door "In there is a device much like the one you're familiar with, plus a couple of tweaks. We want you to take them, put them on, then do... Whatever, really. Get yourself a coffee or something. We'll be monitoring you remotely."
You stepped into the room, an envelope sat on a table. You opened it, and withdrew a pair of pink, frilly knickers. They were light, soft, stretchy, precisely what you want out of underwear. Though how the woman had described them, you knew what they really were. You slipped off the knickers you'd come in wearing, putting them in your bag before pulling on the suspicious pair from the envelope. All the while, feeling the gaze of the woman who you presumed was your new boss. You turned to her as she took out a tablet and tapped it
"Good, telemetry is coming through. Enjoy your morning. You'll know when the test starts. Come back when it's done, and we can debrief"
She escorted you from the building, waving you off as you stepped back into the morning sun.
What the hell was that? You shrugged. You probably don't want to go out of walking distance to the... Let's say offices. You checked your phone. A café? Maybe. Should be relatively quiet round this time of morning, and in the worst case, they'll have a bathroom you can hide in. You nodded to yourself and set off.
You were right. The café was pretty empty, just a few bored-looking baristas wiping down various machines after the morning rush, sweeping up discarded pieces of sugar packet wrapper. You got your order, a medium Americano and sat down near the bathrooms.
She wasn't lying. You knew when the test started. A familiar warmth spread over the fabric under your skirt. It dissipated as always, but you could tell you were exposed, vulnerable.
Who- or what-ever it was on the other side of the portal clearly didn't believe in pacing themselves. A wide, flat tongue started lapping at you. It was manic. So fast it made you yelp, taking long licks of the outside of your nethers. You felt it skimming the outer lips, hitting your clit on every long stroke, just to do it again a moment later. You bit your lip, legs crossing on their own. That didn't impede the tongue, it might have even encouraged it. You could feel your breath coming in rags. The baristas were doing their best to ignore you, but in an otherwise empty café it was tough. You could feel their gaze as you screwed your eyes shut, the taste of your own blood filling your mouth as you but down harder. You tried not to cry out as you came. A whine still escaped.
The tongue pulled away. Your cunt was still twitching, your pulse throbbing in your engorged clit. A warmth spread across your ass. Just for a moment. Then it was gone. You could feel a draft across your asscheeks. You were being pressed through the portal by your own weight, just a little. Just enough that you could feel the rim of the portal on your ass cheeks as your exposed behind was being transmitted to who knows where.
You sat in anticipation, still tender and sensitive from the oral servicing you'd just received. You didn't have to wait long. Movement came on both of your holes. Something slimy on your asshole, something using your natural lubricant at your cunt. They thrust rapidly, randomly, hoping to find a hole to take them as they spread hot, spurting fluids over you. You abandoned hope of being able to finish the coffee in front of you, every thrust shaking your hands a little, every near-miss making you gasp.
Your ass was first. The cock hammered its way in, jerking and thrusting, no slower now than it was before only now it was inside you. You tried to mask the yelp as it penetrated with a cough, but the looks on the staff's faces didn't look convinced. It was relentless, the thrusts seemingly gaining in power and ferocity as they went on. You bit down hard on your lip, digging your nails into your palms.
You couldn't help yourself when the other cock found its mark. A basal, creaking groan escaped you as your drooling, deprived cunt swallowed the cock whole, welcoming it in. The whole length of it pumped in and out, rubbing against the one in your ass. You couldn't stop yourself shaking. You staggered to your feet, trying to stumble out of the café before you were thrown out. Your legs wobbled, unsteady with the twin cocks using you as they pleased. Setting one in front of the other was tough, hauling yourself along towards the door required a herculean effort to not trip over yourself.
The bell rang above the door as you opened it, guiding yourself around the side of the building before leaning against the wall.
Just in time. You felt a bulbous knot press into your asshole. You cried out in pain as it stretched you open, forcing its way in before you tightened behind it. The cock in your cunt did similar, driving in a thick, rock-hard growth, locking itself inside before it started to spill its seed.
You felt them filling you. Thick, hot cum painting your insides, sticking to you, washing into you. You could almost smell it, musky and tangy, pulsing into you from both directions at once. You slid down the wall, head back, eyes staring at the blue sky above, hands laying limp by your sides.
You don't know how long it was before they pulled out, but the blue sky had turned to grey and the first drops of rain were landing on you. The knots plopped out, the portals disengaging, and cum oozing from your gaping, winking holes.
You couldn't move. Sure you were expected back soon, but you figured a few more minutes wouldn't hurt.

Just a rundown of Spinel's tactical moments/crimes so far:
Spied on the group for a while, then launched an attack on the Brave Olivine and disrupted all of the electronics on the ship and their phones
Had his own Pokemon attack Friede while he ordered them remotely so the heroes would never see his face, and forced Friede to reveal his Trump card of Terastallization.
Lured a preteen girl into a dark alley and mindwiped her, stealing her pendant (creepiest scene from this anime, honestly)
Had the heroes going thru a wild goose chase by disseminating false intel online, and also had a decoy deployed to distract Friede, their strongest battler at the time
Tried to harm/kill a defenseless Dot (who had just become a Trainer that night!) by having his Magneton use Electro Ball on her (thank goodness that was precisely when Liko and Roy found her)
Had his Umbreon attack the kids directly when they get the upper hand against Beheeyem and Magneton.(and was about to attack Liko again right before a pissed-off Arboliva appeared to make him reconsider)
Kept some info over what he observed on the pendant and how it interacted with Liko/one of the Heroes out of his report to the other Explorers and Gibeon.
Had a disinformation campaign running again keeping the RVT from pursuing other hero Pokemon effectively
Was the one who cooked up the "Let's let the Rising Volt Tacklers do the work for us" plot
The plot to catch Rayquaza in Ep44-45 is mostly his, and he lures Friede off into a trap again. He also learned from last time, boxing Friede and Pikachu in a small location so they couldn't go all-out with Charizard.
Apparently noticed Friede was in Exceed, stealth-blocked Friede's friend from accessing the files on Laquium, and then stole it right out from under Friede's nose.
Drove his own Umbreon, a friendship evolution, into a painful, berserk state.
Trapped Amethio and Liko in an icy cave, they definitely could have starved or froze to death in there.
While it's later revealed that he left his Beheeyem behind to monitor things in case Liko and Amethio escaped, and later used that footage to claim Amethio had betrayed them and get him banished, I think his hope was that they died down there, going by the way he talks about things here:
Just the fact he manipulated the apparent main villain into kicking out his own grandson who was genuinely loyal to him, to make it easier to stab him in the back later??? He had Gibeon wrapped around his little finger!
Left his own underlings/security behind just in case Amethio/his grunts tried to raid his office looking for evidence that he planned to betray Gibeon, and had them lock him somewhere away from Exceed where I don't think he was expecting anyone to find them (he even had them take their PokeBalls, just so they couldn't escape again. Another possible murder attempt?)
This way he smiles here is a pretty clear "God, I can't wait to see the look on your face when I inevitably betray you." (That turned out to be unnecessary, but he does essentially betray Gibeon and his wishes after his death.)
Jumped Friede again and severely weakened his Pokemon just before the final battle, which lead to them going berserk under the effects of Laquium later. (Plus teaching Beheeyem Skill Swap to render Pikachu and his Electric attacks useless was such a smart move.)
High probability that those inventions thumping the ground to activate the Laquium were his, just as the Laquium Spheres were.
Waited until Terapagos was powered down/in a weakened state to reveal that it didn't purify all the Laquium, using the Laquium Spheres to gas the Heroes and drive them all berserk.
Flipped the narrative and manipulated the media against our heroes by claiming the Rising Volt Tacklers were responsible for the damage done to Laqua and Kumuri.
Captured 5/6 of the Six Heroes. (And since we still don't know what happened to Friede, given Spinel's interest in him and their rivalry, I'm looking at him as a possible culprit.)
Is still fucking around with Laquium and sending various Pokemon into frenzies.
Honestly, he's definitely one of the smartest Pokemon villains we've had, and I expect this already long-ass list to get even longer in the future 🤣

A Brief Look from a Different Angle
Going back in time just a little to have a look from a different PoV.
Sleepy King masterpost
---
Jazz flung open the door to the basement so forcefully it nearly bounced right back into her face. “Mom! Dad!”
“Jazz?” Mom asked curiously from below as Jazz descended the basement stairs. “Sweetie, come look! We think we got the new settings for the blasters set correctly.”
“Mom, where's Danny?” Jazz asked in a tight voice.
“Isn't he with you?” Mom asked warily, looking past Jazz to where she was flanked by Sam and Tucker.
“Did he wander off after school?” Dad suggested cheerfully.
“School's not over yet, we left early because Danny never made it to school this morning. Didn't they call you?” Jazz had thought it was weird the school office had called her at all, especially when she was at the very same school when they had.
Her parents frowned as they pulled their phones from their pockets. “No missed calls,” Mom said.
Dad turned to the computer, “Not the house line either. But there were a couple readings last night, perhaps Danny slept in?”
“I called him on the Fenton phone, you'll never guess who answered.” Jazz gave her parents a moment to turn their full attention back to her. “Superman.”
“Oh, well they're the good guys so he's safe at least, right?” Dad asked cheerfully.
“What did Superman say, honey?”
“He said Danny had been kidnapped and rescued, but has some sort of magical side effects the Justice League is working to fix before sending him home. He wouldn't tell me any more details, not who kidnapped him, not what the side effects are, not when he'll be home, nothing.”
“And they didn't inform you, his parents,” Sam added on.
“I'm worried they don't know about Danny’s ghost status and might accidentally hurt him trying to cure him of whatever,” Tucker added, still tapping away at his modified tablet.
“Well that's just unacceptable,” Mom said angrily.
“Right!” Dad agreed eagerly. “We're his parents and he's still a minor, we should be there to approve of his medical treatment!”
Jazz was already heading over to the corner to collect ol’ reliable: the Fenton Anti-Creep Stick™. “They said he's at one of the JL bases.”
Everyone turned to look at Tucker. “Their security is pretty tight, as to be expected, but as always there's social engineering. One of the JL members is complaining in a private discord server about still being on monitor duty on the Watchtower despite it currently being on lockdown for unspecified magical reasons.”
“The Watchtower?” Dad asked.
“Isn't that in space?” Sam sounded incredulous.
“Danny must be so excited,” Mom said with a fond sigh.
“How do we get to space?” Jazz asked forcefully.
Everyone looked around at each other for a moment. “The specter speeder is air tight,” Dad suggested.
“We can go through the ‘Zone,” Jazz added, already digging through the benign supply storage.
“Ask Frostbite for the infi-map?” Tucker suggested.
“Or we just use this!” Jazz triumphantly held up the booo-merang.
There was a resounding sound of approval from the group, followed by a flurry of activity as everyone set about getting ready to travel to space. Mom had taken over the pilot’s seat for the specter speeder, Dad was clearing away everything they had been working on to give the speeder a clear runway, Sam and Tucker were gathering up various ‘just in case’ supplies like a few weapons and the emergency ghost first aid kit, and all the while Jazz was double checking the booo-merang was properly calibrated and battery charged. Once everyone was in place and everything set up, Jazz threw the booo-merang at the open portal and hopped into the speeder so they could take off after it.
Once through, Dad activated the new remote to close the blast doors behind them. No chance of anyone sneaking through while they’re away. A new safety feature that had drastically reduced the number of ghost attacks. Danny had been delighted. Jazz had been upset it took so long for their parents to listen to her concerns when she’d brought up the portal’s security a year prior, shortly after finding out about Danny’s ghostliness.
Jazz mentally shook those thoughts away, no use retreading old ground. Instead she kept her eyes on the booo-merang as it flew through the Ghost Zone, lazily spinning along at a pace that was pretty easy for the speeder to keep up with.
“It sure is taking a while,” Tucker said with a bored sigh.
“We'll get there when we get there,” Sam replied with a grin.
They lapsed back into silence, everyone watching the booo-merang leading them further and further into the ‘Zone. Then it suddenly took a sharp left at the same time it doubled its speed. The boo-merang slipped through a portal that seemed to open and close just for it.
The speeder rocked as Maddie tried to follow the sudden course change, then cursed when they missed the portal.
“Welp,” Tucker said tiredly, “guess we head to the Far Frozen to ask for the infi-map.”
Sam snickered, “Bet you fifty it hit him in the head.”
“That's not a bet, that's a guarantee.”
“Hey!” Jazz protested.
Before Jazz could properly defend herself, a portal opened right in front of them. They ended up on the other side before anyone could do more than gasp.
“Is that… the Watchtower?” Mom asked hesitantly.
“I think so,” Tucker replied.
There, floating before them backed by a field of stars, was a matte gray tube with more tubes attached around it covered with windows leaking buttery yellow light into the void.
“Okay, so now what?”
There was a moment of silence as everyone processed what had just happened. Danny was inside and they were outside, they needed to find their way in and then somehow find Danny without their only tracking device. Great.
The radio came to life with a burst of static. “This is the Watchtower to the unknown vessel, please identify yourself.”
“Great, guess we can't sneak on,” Sam groused.
“Like that was ever even an option,” Tucker replied sarcastically.
“Kids!” Dad chided. Then he started fiddling with various knobs, “How do we reply?”
Mom frowned, “I'm not sure we can.”
“Something to upgrade for next time!”
“Hopefully there won't be a next time,” Jazz muttered.
“Still, it’s best to be prepared,” Dad said jovially. The radio spit more static and garbled requests for identification.
“Perhaps we should just… approach? They probably have an airlock or something we can use.” Mom gently nudged the speeder forward, heading slowly towards the Watchtower.
“Hopefully they don’t think we’re hostile,” Tucker grumbled.
“Don’t worry, we’ve got ghost shields!” Dad said enthusiastically with a finger hovering over a button.
“Dad, the Justice League doesn’t have any ghosts,” Jazz reminded him with a sigh. She shook her head, her parents were a little too specialized. Maybe this would help them realize they lost sight of the broader picture.
“Well hopefully it’ll stop whatever that is,” Tucker said nervously, pointing at where a small white dot was growing larger as it approached them.
The dot turned out to be a man wearing a white half cape, the red and gold coming into focus as he got closer. Clearly he was some kind of superhero, since he wasn’t even wearing a helmet or space suit. Jazz narrowed her eyes at him, “Is that Superman?”
“No,” Sam and Tucker said at the same time. Tucker took over, “That’s Captain Marvel, the champion of magic. Not related to Superman at all, aside from being coworkers I guess.”
“Good for him.” Jazz readjusted her grip on the anti-creep stick.
Captain Marvel slowed down as he got closer, stopping a few yards away. He smiled and waved, everyone waved back. Then he beckoned for them to follow.
“How nice, they sent someone to lead the way.” Mom maneuvered the speeder to follow, matching the easy pace Captain Marvel set.

FROM ALT NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
IMPORTANT: Please read & share!
Please share! ICE agents are now wearing masks and everyday clothing, grabbing individuals in public or at home—often without ID, a warrant, or any visible identification. This is creating an increasingly dangerous situation, especially as copycat impersonators are appearing across the country.
Many people are switching their phones from FaceID to a passcode—you are not legally required to provide a passcode. Others are carrying pepper spray or bear spray, which can be highly effective in disabling an attacker.
Americans are witnessing these incidents and stepping in—but that’s creating volatile and risky situations. If you choose to get involved, demand proper identification. Without clear documentation, there’s no way to tell if it’s a legitimate agent or a copycat. But above all, prioritize your safety.
We strongly recommend live streaming any of these encounters to social media. If the Trump administration disappears you, there needs to be a record—so people know to look for you.
This is becoming extremely dangerous for everyone involved.
How to protect yourself against ICE:
- You have the right to remain silent. You do not have to answer questions about your immigration status or birthplace.
- You do not have to open the door unless ICE has a signed warrant with your name and address from a judge.
- You have the right to speak to a lawyer and to refuse to sign any documents without one.
- Carry a red card or rights card: These cards assert your rights in writing, which you can hand to officers instead of speaking.
- Have a family preparedness plan: Decide who will take care of children, pets, or finances if someone is detained. Keep emergency contacts written down and memorized.
- Know your A-number (if undocumented or pending): This 8–9 digit number is essential if someone is detained and needs legal help.
- Use strong phone passcodes (not FaceID or fingerprint): ICE can’t force you to reveal a passcode.
- Avoid saving sensitive documents in cloud storage apps: Use encrypted local storage and consider apps that allow remote wiping.
- Limit location tracking: Turn off unnecessary app permissions, Bluetooth, and location sharing.
- Avoid traveling alone when possible.
ICE often targets people in isolated settings.
- Join or create a rapid response network:
Many cities have local groups that monitor ICE activity, provide legal support, and assist families.
- Document and report all encounters:
Take videos when safe. Share with local immigration attorneys or watchdog groups.
- Memorize hotlines: Such as United We Dream’s MigraWatch: 1-844-363-1423
- Do not sign anything without legal counsel. You might be signing away your right to a hearing.
- Request a bond hearing and legal representation.
- Let someone know your location: Detainees are often moved quickly between facilities, and it can take time to locate them.
THIS is where we fucking are, people!

# Ghosts We Carry: Chapter 10
The clubhouse parking lot was alive with activity when they arrived. Prospects moved bikes inside the garage, while full-patch members carried boxes of ammunition and supplies through the back entrance.
Clay spotted them immediately, descending the steps with Jax close behind.
"Where the hell have you been?" Clay demanded, his eyes darting to Elena in the passenger seat.
"Keeping her safe," Juice replied, stepping out of the truck. "Like you asked."
Clay's expression softened marginally. "Get inside. Church in five."
As Elena climbed out, Gemma appeared at the clubhouse door, arms crossed defensively until she spotted the younger woman. Her posture changed instantly, maternal instincts overriding suspicion.
"Come on, honey," she called to Elena. "Let's get you settled."
Juice watched Elena go, noticing how she straightened her spine, put on a brave face. Strong woman. Too strong to be caught in this mess.
Inside, the clubhouse had transformed into a fortress. Windows were boarded, weapons strategically placed, surveillance monitors showing every approach. The regular hang-arounds and sweet butts had been sent away. This was war footing.
Tig nodded to Juice as he passed, uncharacteristically solemn. "Shit's real now, brother."
Bobby was at the bar, loading shotguns with mechanical precision. "You bring your laptop?" he asked Juice.
"In my bag."
"Good. We need you on the cameras. And check if that traffic system hack still works. Might need quick exits."
The chapel doors stood open. Inside, the reaper table was covered not with its usual items—cigarettes, phones, occasionally drugs—but with maps, documents, and photographs. Surveillance photos of Zobelle. Of his associates. Of his daughter Polly.
"Juice," Chibs called from inside. "Get in here. Need your brain."
The Scotsman was hunched over some kind of schematic—the layout of a building, markers indicating entry points, security systems.
"Tell me you can disable these," he said, tapping a cluster of symbols in the corner of the page.
Juice studied them. "Looks like standard commercial alarm system. Yeah, I can kill it remotely if I get close enough."
"How close?"
"Fifty feet, maybe less."
Chibs nodded grimly. "Good enough."
A heavy hand landed on Juice's shoulder—Clay.
"Let's talk," the president said, steering him toward a quiet corner.
Clay's eyes were sharp, penetrating. "Thought I told you to go straight to her place and back. Where'd you take her?"
"Teller-Morrow. She needed clothes, some personal stuff."
"That all?"
Juice hesitated, weighing his options. The call from HaviCorp was still fresh in his mind. Someone was watching, had been watching. How much did Clay already know?
"Got a call," he admitted. "Burner phone."
Clay's grip tightened. "From?"
"Didn't say. But they knew things. About me, about the club."
"What kind of things?"
Juice swallowed. "Enough to be dangerous. They mentioned Zobelle."
Clay's expression darkened. "What else?"
"They offered me a job."
The president's eyes narrowed to slits. "A job."
"Said I had options. That I didn't have to go down with SAMCRO."
Juice expected rage, maybe even violence. Instead, Clay's face settled into something resembling amusement.
"And what did you tell this mystery caller?"
"Nothing. Call ended."
Clay nodded slowly, his hand finally releasing Juice's shoulder. "Smart boy." He patted Juice's cheek, a gesture somewhere between affection and warning. "Remember who your family is."
As Clay walked away, Juice felt the weight of invisible eyes on him. HaviCorp. Zobelle. Clay himself. Everyone watching, everyone waiting for him to make a move.
His phone vibrated in his pocket—a text from an unknown number.
*Time's running out. Your choice, Mr. Ortiz.*
Attached was a photo: Juice's apartment, door open, his few possessions visible inside. And hanging from his ceiling fan, a length of chain—the same kind he'd once used in a moment of despair, when the ghosts had almost won.
They weren't just watching. They were inside his life, inside his head.
Juice deleted the message, his decision made.
Time to create some ghosts of his own.

Interactive mouthpiece opens new opportunities for health data, assistive technology, and hands-free interactions
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/interactive-mouthpiece-opens-new-opportunities-for-health-data-assistive-technology-and-hands-free-interactions/
Interactive mouthpiece opens new opportunities for health data, assistive technology, and hands-free interactions
When you think about hands-free devices, you might picture Alexa and other voice-activated in-home assistants, Bluetooth earpieces, or asking Siri to make a phone call in your car. You might not imagine using your mouth to communicate with other devices like a computer or a phone remotely.
Thinking outside the box, MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and Aarhus University researchers have now engineered “MouthIO,” a dental brace that can be fabricated with sensors and feedback components to capture in-mouth interactions and data. This interactive wearable could eventually assist dentists and other doctors with collecting health data and help motor-impaired individuals interact with a phone, computer, or fitness tracker using their mouths.
Resembling an electronic retainer, MouthIO is a see-through brace that fits the specifications of your upper or lower set of teeth from a scan. The researchers created a plugin for the modeling software Blender to help users tailor the device to fit a dental scan, where you can then 3D print your design in dental resin. This computer-aided design tool allows users to digitally customize a panel (called PCB housing) on the side to integrate electronic components like batteries, sensors (including detectors for temperature and acceleration, as well as tongue-touch sensors), and actuators (like vibration motors and LEDs for feedback). You can also place small electronics outside of the PCB housing on individual teeth.

MouthIO: Fabricating Customizable Oral User Interfaces with Integrated Sensing and Actuation Video: MIT CSAIL
The active mouth
“The mouth is a really interesting place for an interactive wearable and can open up many opportunities, but has remained largely unexplored due to its complexity,” says senior author Michael Wessely, a former CSAIL postdoc and senior author on a paper about MouthIO who is now an assistant professor at Aarhus University. “This compact, humid environment has elaborate geometries, making it hard to build a wearable interface to place inside. With MouthIO, though, we’ve developed a new kind of device that’s comfortable, safe, and almost invisible to others. Dentists and other doctors are eager about MouthIO for its potential to provide new health insights, tracking things like teeth grinding and potentially bacteria in your saliva.”
The excitement for MouthIO’s potential in health monitoring stems from initial experiments. The team found that their device could track bruxism (the habit of grinding teeth) by embedding an accelerometer within the brace to track jaw movements. When attached to the lower set of teeth, MouthIO detected when users grind and bite, with the data charted to show how often users did each.
Wessely and his colleagues’ customizable brace could one day help users with motor impairments, too. The team connected small touchpads to MouthIO, helping detect when a user’s tongue taps their teeth. These interactions could be sent via Bluetooth to scroll across a webpage, for example, allowing the tongue to act as a “third hand” to open up a new avenue for hands-free interaction.
“MouthIO is a great example how miniature electronics now allow us to integrate sensing into a broad range of everyday interactions,” says study co-author Stefanie Mueller, the TIBCO Career Development Associate Professor in the MIT departments of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering and leader of the HCI Engineering Group at CSAIL. “I’m especially excited about the potential to help improve accessibility and track potential health issues among users.”
Molding and making MouthIO
To get a 3D model of your teeth, you can first create a physical impression and fill it with plaster. You can then scan your mold with a mobile app like Polycam and upload that to Blender. Using the researchers’ plugin within this program, you can clean up your dental scan to outline a precise brace design. Finally, you 3D print your digital creation in clear dental resin, where the electronic components can then be soldered on. Users can create a standard brace that covers their teeth, or opt for an “open-bite” design within their Blender plugin. The latter fits more like open-finger gloves, exposing the tips of your teeth, which helps users avoid lisping and talk naturally.
This “do it yourself” method costs roughly $15 to produce and takes two hours to be 3D-printed. MouthIO can also be fabricated with a more expensive, professional-level teeth scanner similar to what dentists and orthodontists use, which is faster and less labor-intensive.
Compared to its closed counterpart, which fully covers your teeth, the researchers view the open-bite design as a more comfortable option. The team preferred to use it for beverage monitoring experiments, where they fabricated a brace capable of alerting users when a drink was too hot. This iteration of MouthIO had a temperature sensor and a monitor embedded within the PCB housing that vibrated when a drink exceeded 65 degrees Celsius (or 149 degrees Fahrenheit). This could help individuals with mouth numbness better understand what they’re consuming.
In a user study, participants also preferred the open-bite version of MouthIO. “We found that our device could be suitable for everyday use in the future,” says study lead author and Aarhus University PhD student Yijing Jiang. “Since the tongue can touch the front teeth in our open-bite design, users don’t have a lisp. This made users feel more comfortable wearing the device during extended periods with breaks, similar to how people use retainers.”
The team’s initial findings indicate that MouthIO is a cost-effective, accessible, and customizable interface, and the team is working on a more long-term study to evaluate its viability further. They’re looking to improve its design, including experimenting with more flexible materials, and placing it in other parts of the mouth, like the cheek and the palate. Among these ideas, the researchers have already prototyped two new designs for MouthIO: a single-sided brace for even higher comfort when wearing MouthIO while also being fully invisible to others, and another fully capable of wireless charging and communication.
Jiang, Mueller, and Wessely’s co-authors include PhD student Julia Kleinau, master’s student Till Max Eckroth, and associate professor Eve Hoggan, all of Aarhus University. Their work was supported by a Novo Nordisk Foundation grant and was presented at ACM’s Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology.

would you be willing to share the software you use to make your screen darker?
Sure thing! I only have screen shaders for my Mac computers because those displays are hard baked into the machines. For windows, I just have the computer hooked up to a TV and I can change the display settings with the remote.
But yeah, for the macs, the lowest brightness setting is often still too bright, especially when I have a migraine. I use two different screen shaders that each do different things:
f.lux - most computers these days I think have night shift options built in to the OS, but I've been running f.lux for probably around 8 years now so I'm not gonna get rid of it lol. What it does is it applies a heavy orange/red filter to your screen and darkens it depending on what time you set it to do that. Helps me not strain my eyes so much.
ScreenShade - this one is such a lifesaver for me! It just gives you another screen brightness slider on top of the base one, letting you go much lower without turning the entire display off.
I don't use a dedicated app on my phone (iphone), but you can go into the settings to activate an accessibility shortcut to darken the screen by going to accessibility -> zoom -> zoom filter -> low light. I have it set to activate when I press the home button three times in a row. I have the actual zoom level set to zero so that I only get the darkening effect but feel free to actually pinch and zoom around if it helps too.
I imagine that similar applications/settings would exist for windows, linux, and android phones. I think my brother's samsung phone has a built-in night shift as well as a black and white mode. I can ask him how he shades his windows computer monitor if you want, though I think there are probably lots of options out there on the internet.
Thank you for the ask!
