I know I've shown it before but I can't stop looking at this picture and smiling to myself without thinking about the fact that Charles taught Arthur how to use a bow.
And not just any bow - Charles' own bow. Even with the rough circumstances they were in at the time, Charles was still patient enough to teach Arthur how to use the bow efficiently. He didn't make fun of Arthur's skill level, he didn't criticize him, he didn't shout or yell at him afterwards, Charles simply guided Arthur and let him learn at his own pace.
If you shoot the deer but it doesn't die? He still helps you. If you miss completely? He still helps you and encourages you to try again. If you need to track down the deer again? He will still help you. He will still help Arthur. This wasn’t just a lesson in hunting; it was a moment of trust and respect.
Charles knew that Arthur was perfectly capable with a gun, but he still taught him an incredibly valuable life skill that day - a skill Arthur eventually honed.

BEHOLD, MY PROJECT!
I actually am planning on making a plush with this same fabric, but this cosplay (and also pjs ehehe) is what I’ve been working on this whole time!! It’s only my third ever time actually making a cosplay and my first time sewing actual clothing, so he is a bit wonky. Still, I love him ehehe! I was going to make the hat out of my soft fabric as well, but I am cutting things close so that’ll be a later task.

If there's one funny thing to appreciate Sam for, it's that he can't cook a TV dinner for shit, but...
...he does take sandwiches a bit more seriously (also it's good to know he has condiments and herbs and other stuff like that around to imply his meals are a little more sophisticated than the cooking menu would lead you to believe).

Ok a concept for the “sif is out” au:
What if Siffrin starts… not remembering, but adjusting?
Every loop Mirabelle speaks up in the corridor to go find the switch, but eventually…
They start stopping before she speaks up.
He starts finding the keys just a little bit faster.
He doesn’t remember but his body starts to. Some part of him starts adjusting with each loop.
“I mean he hardly has a memory to begin with so why would wiping it reset him?”
Or at least that’s what Loop explains it as.
It’s convenient at first, but…
He starts remembering how cold the party has been.
He starts avoiding eye contact with Odile.
They jump at Mirabelle’s voice sometimes.
He starts avoiding the observatory room.
Folding in disagreements faster.
After countless loops everyone notices that Siffrin starts one level higher now.
He’s smiling more. But there’s something wrong about it.
Everyone notices when he smiles at the mirror for the first time.
They just assume it might be a tiny remnant, not much to be concerned about.
They notice that his face stops changing, the smile remains.
Stock still.
Practiced.
Then…
He stops comforting Bonnie after they snap at him one loop.
[ Siffrin got the memory of Something! They shouldn’t remember this.]
[ When equipped The rogue may find things faster! Guess the loops can’t catch everything~]

A BEAST...
man this turned out to be way more of an undertaking than I expected LOL I had such grand plans of making it an inverted twin but.... I'm kinda burnt out on this pattern for now fdshdf That said I'm pretty happy with it! It was a very "trust the process" sort of project and at a lot of stages I was like "this is gonna look so dumb" but it came together in the end.

Been working on some first run Chou sprites for funsies, here’s a handful of the ones I’ve done so far
#keese draws#isat#new game+#comic siffrin#comicfrin#isat siffrin#I mainly just wanted to figure out how chou may express differently than normal siffrin#they are alas far less kitty cat </3#but yeah even in their first run they were generally much lower energy than siffrin mostly due to stress#they are less used to traveling for long periods of time along with the whole savior thing going on#and while they start off generally handling their timeloop situation well enough even by the time they get the second orb they’re Tired man#and after the incident where they lost their eye they’re So ready for this to be over#and they haven’t even hit the wall of their final boss fight yet it took them a long while to get through that for the first time#the main thing is that their party spended most of their journey far more underleveled#for most of the main fights they were able to scrape through since the crew did have some disproportionally powerful abilities earlier than#the isat party would have similar skills (like their first recruit is a full blown shield specialist)#but as they got further and further and the boss gimmicks got more specific and punishing it would get Much harder#in the fight where chou lost their eye they were stuck for Months the first run trying to find a way to squeak through the fight#in game terms basically trying to abuse the consistent rng seed to find a chain of actions that would let them win#long story short the boss basically acts as a harsh punish for their lack of a proper healer#it also for realsies kills people like. during the battle. so the margin for error is slim to none.#basically once it takes out someone it’ll continue to target them and it can’t have its intent redirected#and it’s resistant to all craft types until it’s about to and failed to perform the final blow attack#without going too much into the party comp and how they generally fight just know that even if they weren’t underleveled this would low key#hard counter them since their whole game plan is about redirecting damage and simply killing the enemy before it kills them#so during this first run this fight was actual hell for chou to figure out and poor bastard hadn’t even hit their worst wall yet 😔#anyways that was a whole ramble that had nothing to do with the actual post I’m making. whoops.#point is they’ve earned the right to be low energy and stressed as hell they were Not built to carry a rpg party

#ffxiv#sketch#concept#zenos yae galvus#meteor survivor#adventurer zenos- technically LOL#my goofy ass theory crafting continues:#both the state of zenos at the edge#and WoL making some questionable life choices now that they have a funny maguffin#meteor but whenever he hears “those we lost and those we can yet save” any time during dawntrail onwards he just gets hit#by zero's zenos quotes LOL#aka how to inflict psychic damage on him in one simple step#meanwhile i write/theorize zenos is moreso stuck in his own immobile body#basically that he's dead but still conscious#in turn because of the dynamis in the egg the area around him starts to morph in accordance to his “dreams”#meteor gets to be both very confused and very distraught that he returns to find him in a bed of nymian lilies instead of an empty plane#which appeared for both zenos' loneliness and maybe wanting to at least be mourned by someone#on top of the hope that meteor is out there somewhere continuing his travels#meteor- but uriangers implications that it mightve been zenos that saved him rotates him out of nowhere ocassionally#and then especially when he sees him again#I miss my murder husband#I wish we had a minion of him so if he ever comes back we can show it to him like we did to raha#I wish to impose a little guy upon him v-v

he does a lot of other things too and crochet isn't his main thing (i think Raph eventually takes that as his main hobby later on) but he does do it!
#tmnt#rottmnt#family web au#my doodles#rise mikey#i also may have also put far too much thought into how he's able to integrate his webbing into such fiber arts#(b/c i recently started crocheting and have been watching damn near any youtube video that mentions yarn or needles)#like i don't think he'd do much crocheting or knitting with his own webbing#simply b/c it would be most similar to silk and that can be very tangely and slipery to work with#if he did use it for that he'd probably hold some other sort of yarn with it#if he was workign with just his own webbign he probably leans more towards weaving work#like with donnie's jacket#yeah i've spent too much thought on the mechanics of mikey using webbing in these sort of crafts#but that's what happens when 2 fixations meet lol#also happy friday update#(even though it's past midnight here and thus no longer friday)#(it's close enough)#(i had a busy day and couldn't draw until now)
