Since you asked (and also I'm curious your take), what RWBY weapons the Animorphs havin' in your head?
So this is also going to go into semblances etc because one of the things I like about RWBY is that all of that is connected. Ruby's weapon only exists in the context of her being a speedster, Yang wears shotgun gauntlets because getting hit while she gets close is a good thing, etc.
I also had to really work to avoid the instinctive "everyone gets clawed gauntlets" option, because Tiger Claws/Gorilla Fists/Bear Claws are just iconic looks but we don't need 4 chars like that.
Elfangor: A kusarigama, which is a chain with a knife at one end and a sickle at the other, used like a complex whip. This requires little explanation, it's just such a good match for the Andalite tail. He's an insect faunus antennae. His semblance is the ability to sense other's semblances with his antennae, which is both how he recruits random kids and has them turn out to be very effective, and how he's so good in a fight(he always knows what his oppts are trying to do). Blue.
Jake: Yeah, he gets clawed gauntlets, with the claws able to launch like grappling hooks(similar to Ren's weapons in later seasons). Close-up brutal weapons, designed to ensure the fight stays close-up. His semblance is Reflexes, he can slow the world down. He doesn't move any faster when he does, but he thinks faster, which both makes him a deadly close-up fighter and an extremely effective leader when things go bad. Orange.
Rachel: Rachel goes unarmed, because her semblance is Morphing. If she, or someone, kills a Grimm near her, instead of it vaporizing, it collapses into the death liquid. She can use that liquid to turn herself into any Grimm she's fought before. Which would be really strong, but it starts off useless if there aren't Grimm around, and she's not sure how much of her love of battle is her wanting to protect others and how much is the evil she soaks herself in every fight. That question gets worse when she stops needing to kill Grimm because she can just sprout the black liquid to transform herself. Yellow with red accents(when she transforms, the yellow vanishes and the red remains amongst the black).
Cassie: Tonfa that are also pistols. (Tonfa are t-shaped batons: skill heavy weapons better for defense than offense and great against other weapons). They're mostly hard to kill with, but can be extremely effective when they need to be, which fits her and her endurance-based combat. Her semblance is healing, which is on-the-nose but I wanted one of the kids to be able to patch up exposed intestines and decided to make it her. The fact that she can also stop someone's heart if she wants to makes her throw up when she realizes, but she does it in desperate situations. Purple.
Marco: A sniper rifle/boar spear, which is a heavy spear with a crossguard to keep dangerous things from getting impaled, running up the spear, and savaging the wielder before death. He likes keeping far from danger. The crossguard can be collapsed to use like a normal spear(or used as a mount when sniping), which is better against humans and also usually what gets him stabbed(Marco's the Weiss of the group). Semblance is Guerilla Warfare, he can shroud his allies, blurring distinguishing features to make them harder to recognize during fights. Silver.
Tobias: Recurved bow. He stabs with an arrow if someone gets close, but as an insect faunus with wings(and a semblance that makes him lighter so he can use them), he mostly tries to fly out of enemy's reach and snipe. Their first big fight, he screwed that up, and a Lancer punched through his spine. Cassie couldn't get there to heal him in time, Rachel was too busy fighting to notice, and Jake saw it happen but couldn't warn him fast enough. Now he flies, but can't walk, and the only member of the team who doesn't blame himself for that is Marco. Brown with red accents.
Ax: Elfangor's kusarigama. No explanation needed there. Ax is a similar faunus to his brother, but he's mute, and uses his semblance, Thought Speak, to communicate via broadcasts from his antenna. Blue.
I went back and forth on whether Rachel or Cassie should morph while the other heals, but Rachel turning into an Ursa/Megoliath won out. The color schemes are a guess, I'm no artist. I really wanted to make Tobias a hawk faunus, but the link to Ax/Elfangor had to happen.

First meetings: Wolfwood and Vash
Tumblr media
ID: Wolfwood in his introduction chapter pinching a protesting Vash's chin with interest and exclaiming that people are stupid for not immediately recognizing Vash.
One thing I noticed while rereading the manga, is the nature of Wolfwood and Vash's first meeting; that is, Wolfwood isn't targeting Vash as his next mark, nor does he likely know that Vash is his next mark. As a result, I thought it would be interesting to look at how that shapes their relationship with each other in the beginning, especially in comparison to the differences in the anime adaptations. Just a fun lil tidbit to sink your teeth into.
Proof of Unknowing
For the case that Wolfwood wasn't yet targeting Vash, my first point is that it makes sense logistically; if Wolfwood was targeting Vash to kill him as Legato had originally told them to in the manga, it would be assumed that he would have tried to kill Vash. However, instead he doesn't try to at all, although one might chalk that up to Vash saving his life by spotting him while on the bus or some other plot gimmick for Wolfwood to not immediately try to kill Vash.
Secondly, and more obviously, Wolfwood hasn't met Legato yet. This is seen clearly when Legato asks Wolfwood if he's Chapel, who Wolfwood is (later shown to be) impersonating, which means that Legato has never met Wolfwood. As well, Wolfwood is only shown to know the location of his next job- when he mutters about the chapel on the top of the rock- and doesn't seem to know nothing else, making it highly likely he doesn't even know any other details. In fact, Vash actually warns Wolfwood to not get involved with Legato, giving Wolfwood his description, to which Wolfwood when recieving the info doesn't seem to know the man; and upon arriving, and meeting Legato, Wolfwood actually parrots the description from Vash's warning in wariness, recognizing him through Vash's warning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ID: Collection of three manga pages.
First page: Legato comments, "'Chapel' seems to be missing... Well, no matter. Our target... Has yet to arrive." His words fade into Wolfwood exclaiming, "Huh?! A skull attached to his left arm?" Vash says, "Yep, yep! That's right. And a raised, needle-like torture device on his right shoulder." After a pause, Vash says, "You don't know him? Well, if you see him, let me know."
Second page: Vash tensely remembers a blood spatter and thinks, "Like a shadow, he came. And like a shadow, he killed and slipped away. If he... If he can move in and out of a crowd like that, people can be killed easily..." Wolfwood and Meryl look curious, and Wolfwood asks, "Well? If I see that guy, what should I do? You got a message for him?" Vash makes an exclamatory sound and shouts, "No! No! Never-mind!! Do not get involved. He's a very, very dangerous man. I swear!" Wolfwood laughs, "But I heard you were the most dangerous man in the world!" Vash sighs.
Third page: we see Legato and Wolfwood standing across from each other at their first interaction. Legato says, "That cross... I've been waiting for you. You're 'Chapel,' correct?" Wolfwood's expression is wary, and he says, "The skull... The torture device... I know you..."
Since Legato hasn't met him yet, this also means Legato's precious half-coins which he gives to each of the gung-ho guns hasn't been given yet to Wolfwood, which Legato has been previously shown to inform the gung-ho guns who their target is when he gives it to them (as with the first gung-ho gun). This again makes it unlikely that Wolfwood even knows his mark is Vash.
Tumblr media
ID: A panel of Legato touching a broken coin in front of Monev the Gale, the first gung-ho gun and saying intensely, "Do whatever it takes. For twenty years of your master's benevolence, it's time to repay him."
Lending further support, when Legato mentions that they specifically may need to deal with--ie, kill--Vash, this is the moment when we are privy to Wolfwood thought processes, where he desperately rages against his life as a assassin and how he wants to escape this life that causes him to kill. This is especially understandable under the context of Wolfwood just being told that he is supposed to kill a man that he had just somewhat befriended, a man who had just saved his life and payed for his lunch, who clearly has a good heart.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ID: Two subsequent manga pages. Legato (off page) says "We're entering unknown territory here. You must be ready to handle any situation. Especially... Vash the Stampede. By no means may you fail!!" Wolfwood's frowning face is shown as Conrad comments that Vash is coming and that he understands why Knives chose that location. There's a close-up of Wolfwood's narrow-eyed expression before a cut to his shoes stomping up a mountain. He angrily exclaims, "Shit! What the hell was with all th' training?! Once again I'm staining my own hands with blood. God..." He thinks, "Once it's gone full-circle... where will it end?"
Basically, manga Wolfwood and Vash's beginning of their relationship starts with them forming a camaraderie before Wolfwood learns that he needs to kill/betray Vash. This makes it in a way more bittersweet, because their original interaction never had that tension of knowledge that Wolfwood is there since the beginning to betray Vash, and instead, they are simply existing together and form a what might tentatively be called a friendship--at least something where the both of them seem to have made a positive impact on the other-- outside of Wolfwoods mission. As a result, the question of how much of the camaraderie in the beginning of their relationship is Wolfwood having to get close to his mark is removed; you realize the camaraderie they share is honest and organic. In a way it's more tragic, because Vash even warns Wolfwood to remain away from Legato, but Wolfwood is already inevitably heading towards meeting the man, and learns to his horror that his next target is actually Vash. For Vash it also it's bitter because when Wolfwood finds Vash, Wolfwood mentions Knives for his reason of finding Vash; showing that even against Vash's warning, Wolfwood has clearly been entangled in some manner in the fight between Vash and Knives.
Anime adaptions
All this gets cut from Stampede, as Wolfwood is pretty explicitly following Vash to babysit him since the beginning. As Stampede has considerably condensed the story this makes sense since it would take time they don't have to add it in; but I think that cuts out an interesting extra dimension to Wolfwood and Vash's relationship, but so many things have been cut that I'm not surprised, and it's so changed that this being cut is not a big deal to me (compared to other things they cut which were more important).
From what I remember of the 98' anime, it's left a bit open to whether or not Wolfwood already knows from the beginning. However, as Wolfwood appears before Legato appears, it may mean that Wolfwood doesn't know during their first few meetings, like in the manga, but we aren't given a specific scene that shows Wolfwood being told to follow Vash, so we don't know where in the timeline he knows (we are only given the scene where he's told to kill Vash, later in the series). As well, Vash warning Wolfwood about Legato was removed in '98, which then lacks that bittersweetness of the realization that Wolfwood has become entangled in Vash and Knives fight. However, I haven't finished rewatching '98, so I don't have a more confident answer for whether or not Wolfwood knows, so take this part of the analysis with a grain of salt.
Conclusion
TLDR: In comparison to Wolfwood seeking out Vash to betray/observe him since the beginning, Wolfwood not knowing, (as shown by Legato not knowing who Wolfwood is when they meet) makes their whole first interaction in the manga organic, and adds a whole extra dimension of tragedy to their relationship, especially with the way Vash tries to warn Wolfwood away from Legato, which ultimately fails. As a result, the darker parts of both of their lives, which they don't acknowledge in their first meeting, end up intertwined, against their will. This actually serves as part of a huge thematic resolution of monstrousness and rejection but that's not the point here, that's another thing for another day.
Btw! If u wanna read more rambles from me, here's a masterpost of em :)

NaNoWriMo Day #11
[masterlist]
Today's prompt isn't a Harry Potter one like I said it would be yesterday, but that's because I'm sick and writing makes my head hurt (٥↼_↼) so instead, I grabbed one of @stealingyourbones prompts off the @batpham-discord-highlights server and ended up drawing it! Now, for it to count per my own rules, I have to write something to go with it, so I will, but it will be short (^~^;)ゞ

=============‹«⟨·‹·‹·•·›·›·⟩»›=============
Jason didn't set out to adopt two traumatized teens with super powers, but then, he'd come to realize that Bruce, for all his faults, had been the same way. The difference was, Jason refused to fail his sons the way Bruce had failed his own kids. While Jason's new biggest fear was turning out just like either of his fathers, his kids constantly reassured him he was doing pretty well.
He did his best to train his kids, both in and out of suit, helped them with their homework, and made sure they spent time being kids instead of fighting crime (if Captain Marvel suddenly started taking more days off from the League, well, the big three could only feel relief). He also did his best to keep his kids off the Bat's radar, at least until they were both sixteen and could use their powers competently in either of their forms. He'd almost succeeded in that last one when a mass Arkham breakout had called for all hands on deck. He had tried to leave his kids behind, but Danny and Billy were insistent. Thus, Hood's Ravens, named after Odin's own raven companions, Hugin and Munin, took flight through Gotham.
Through the mission brief and the first part of the roundup, Hugin and Munin stuck close to Red Hood, keeping their powers mostly under wraps. They were doing surprisingly well in such a large scale mission, in Jason's opinion. Sure, they'd both had previous experience with fighting large groups or for long periods separately, the kind of teamwork they were displaying, working as two parts of a whole, brought Jason a sense of pride. He'd been the one to teach them that, after all.
Suddenly, Babs let out a frustrated growl over comms. "I just lost connection to half the cameras in the city, I'm nearly as blind as you guys. You're going to have to do this the old fashioned way until I can figure out what happened," she said.
Jason shared a look with his sons and sighed, silencing whatever protest or reassurance the others were flooding the comms line with. "You two sure about this?" He got twin nods. "Alright. You know the rules. Stay out of sight, don't engage if you don't have to. Hugin, you take East side, Munin, you take West side. Go." Both boys were suddenly airborne, one flying East and the other flying West. He watched them fly for a bit before getting back to work. He trusted them to follow his rules and to know their limits. They could do this.
Soon, nearly identical voices were feeding real time information directly to the bats, each raven playing the role of "eye in the sky" surprisingly well for fifteen year olds. They directed the closest free bat or bird to problem areas, they rescued trapped or injured civilians, and most of all, they listened to any suggestions or corrections Babs gave them and adjusted accordingly. Jason was so unbelievably proud of his sons, he was fit to burst from it all. He couldn't understand how Bruce had never buried them all under mountains of praise if he'd ever felt even half as proud of his bats and birds as Jason was of his ravens in that moment.
Eventually, things calmed down enough that Jason wasn't exactly surprised to sense the big man himself dropping onto the roof behind him. Jason let Bruce watch him as he continued to watch his sons flying over and through the city, giving directions and helping when needed. They stood there like that for a few minutes before Jason sighed. "What is it, old man?"
"Those kids, Hugin and Munin. Who are they."
Jason felt the pit rise up at Bruce's tone, feasting on the riot of pride, anxiety, joy, fear, and anger. He wondered if the green he was seeing was real or imaginary as he turned to look over his shoulder at his adoptive father. "Those are my sons," he growled.

There (;^ω^)I hope that satisfies! It's only thanks to ibuprofen that I was able to get through writing that much, so thank you modern pharmaceuticals ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
Whether or not Danny and Billy are actually related (ie long lost twins, cousins, clones, brothers really close in age) or just doppelgangers is up to the reader, but the point is they're practically identical when just standing next to each other, but suit them up as Red Hood's Ravens, Hugin and Munin, they're indistinguishable until one goes invisible and the other starts shooting spells at things. In fact, Danny and Billy regularly "switch" who is Hugin and who is Munin. They usually discuss beforehand who is going to be who for a given period of time, but sometimes one of their power sets is better suited for a situation and they'll switch on a dime. Of course, this is only possible because their suits are identical in every way, being based heavily on Dick's Nightwing costume (specifically the Young Justice version) with red ravens on their chests instead of the bat on Jason's. Neither has a preferred weapon to deal with as they're both hand to hand fighters when they're not using their powers (Danny's ecto/ice blasts and Billy's spells), either. They do both still show up as their first alter egos, Phantom and Captain Marvel, fairly regularly, but Jason ensures they get plenty of rest and down time while still doing their school and homework.
I might have more to add later, but I'm drowning in snot and the ibuprofen is trying to wear off, so I'm going to leave it there. If anyone wants to continue this, please let me and @stealingyourbones know so we can enjoy it, too! (◠‿・)—☆

Heads Up 7 Up

This excerpt is called 'how Sigyn cunningly convinced Óðin’s ravens to betray him, using only a crust of stale bread'
Ravens circled overhead, chipped from the night itself, visible only when silhouetted against the moon. I knew their names were Hugin and Munin, though I couldn’t tell one from the other. It hardly mattered. Both were tattletales, whispering secrets into Óðin’s ears. Why then had the spies alerted me to their presence? Unless… I paused mid-chew. Looked down at the remnants of my dinner. Sighed.
Corvids never forget a friendly face - or an offer of food.

Ok idea I know he has a dog but hades, loki and Beelzebub also give me cat dad energy? So maybe reader getting them a cat? That’s exactly like them? Fluff plz
Seperate btw
Thanks for the request! Sadly I haven't read the manga up to Beelzebub yet so I can't write for him. I hope you don't mind I only did Hades and Loki! These where very fun to write for though.
Warnings: none. Just Loki and Hades being Cat-dads.
Request: Yes.
Words: 515.
≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾
Hades
Visible confusion. Why are you bringing him a cat?
"Darling, what is this?"
Allows you to set the said cat down into his lap as you explained you'd found the poor fella outside and thought he'd be a good cat dad.
He's flattered, truly.
Hades accepts this cat as a gift from his beloved and names them Diablo if it's a boy and Luci if it's a girl.
Unlike his dog, Cerberus, this feline is small and therefore accompanies him everywhere. Hades has taught this cat to perch or lay across his shoulders. They are with eachother all the time.
He enjoys how calm Diabolo/Luci seems to be and how clean they are while grooming themselves.
Hades also makes sure they get premium cat food and are only served the best. They are the King of helheim's pet, after all. Their litter is scooped at least once everyday and they are fed steady meals.
They're a pampered cat, though they never seem to mind if something falls behind schedule. Hades only realizes how alike he and this cat is when you point it out to him.
His response is a smile and to rub behind the cats ear gently.
"I suppose you are correct, my beloved. I do make a good cat dad."
Loki
This cat was made to cause trouble. And Loki knows and exploited it from the day you came in with them.
"Oh? And who do I owe the gratitude too?" He had asked, laughter in his voice while you set the cat down in his lap.
"I found the little booger outside. I figured you'd be a good Catdad."
Inwardly snickers. Oh he's going to teach this cat how to terrorize in style.
He names this cat Bandit. Doesn't care if it's boy or girl. Loki makes the cat float around with him w/magic just because I said so.
Munin and Hugin are less than happy Loki had taught Bandit how to case them down and knock them out of air. Odin also does not see any good in this.
Bandit is always knocking over things. Not a very graceful cat if they get up on a shelf and there's something on it- just pray it's not fragile. Because they are knocking it or themselves off the shelf and then walking away like nothing happened.
They usually nap with Loki and are always curled up on his chest or under his arm when you guys go to bed.
Loki has pointed out so many times how alike he and Bandit are. He's quite proud of it.
Not the cleanest, Loki does always make sure Bandit has food and water, though the litter box may get a bit dirty before it's cleaned out.
Thor is unamused at Bandit coming into his room to chew on his hair.

St Nicolas is patron Saint for who?
Researching for writing is dangerous. It takes you down many rabbit holes.
Festive writing requires mythology research, so here we go with my findings.
Undoubtedly, St Nick has been used to Christianise winter solstice celebrations for multiple belief systems and in northern Europe takes over quite seamlessly from Odin.
Feeding the reindeer = feeding Slepnir
Gifts in stockings = gifts in boots
Santa's helpers = Hugin & Munin
And many more examples.
But the best bit I have found in my reading -
While people associate St Nick with children, naturally, he is their patron Saint and he protects and cares for them, our dear old Santa isn't just looking out for them.
Santa is the patron Saint for, among others: Brewers, Pharmacists, and Prostitutes.
Alcohol, drugs, and sex. Party season saint.
But importantly, our boy is looking out for the sex workers.
Sex won't put you on the naughty list.

I bloody love your 123(4) fic!!!! Im wondering if donnie gets his memory's back or not if yes the angst! If no the angst! I'm loving the interactions between Draxum,Hugin and Munin! I think Draxum is slowly getting attached to his new "son" ! Also I'm exited for how your going to write how Karai comes into play!! No pressure, just wanted to compliment you!
Thank you so much!! :D I know I'm writing this fic for myself and all, but it is very nice to see how others are enjoying it.
The ending I have planned is going to be very fun, I think. Trying to stay in the moment and NOT write this fic backwards has been an ongoing battle (that i sometimes lose), because I am very excited to get there.
Though tbh, I haven't made the decision to fit in Karai yet. That's more "possible sequel or epilogue" content, at the moment. ^^

Loving all this Michi-Nyansu love! He’s such a wonderful little mom.
But what about some Simga love? My sweet boi Himbo deserves some love too! And Delta too! Where’s the love for my smart little puppet maker?
Therefore, I shall ask this question!
What was your inspiration for the twins/not twins of Sigma and Delta? And will both of them will make an appear in your future jjk fics?
P.S.
Are Sigma and Delta Noran-so?
Tumblr media
Commission by @ / JJIMCMSN
Shigema Kamo / Sigma has a lot of inspirations. His biggest inspiration is Zack Fair from Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, a character who embodies the ideal hero and protagonist of the story, while at the same time is a deconstruction of that idea of heroism.
All Zack wants is to be a hero and fight with honor, but he's working for an evil mega corporation the Shinra Corp, and he's essentially being used as a mercenary and killing people in a war, he's used, experimented on, and then finally just dies when he tries to break free. In general the idea behind Sigma is "If I were to write a Shonen Manga, he would be the protagonist."
He's crafted to foil both Yuta, and Yuji at the same time. Basically, the only thing Sigma desires is to be a hero, and help save other people, but the world will never let him be one. Sigma's kind deep down to his bones and his capacity to care for other people only makes his life harder. If he had been able to just follow orders of Jujutsu Society with his head down he would have survived, but the way that Mei Mei uses her brother Ui Ui so much, he has to try to save him from his sister. Mei Meii's treatment of Ui Ui is something that is either just don't notice, or tolerate.
Sigma's action of trying to help Ui Ui is actually what leads to his demise. If he had just run away with Delta instead of attacking Mei Mei and kidnapping Ui Ui then Jujutsu Society would not have made his retrieval such a priority. They either would have let him go or sent weaker students on that mission. Sigma's selflessness is something he is essentially punished for, because it is hard to be a kind person in the Jujutsu World.
He's also made to represent the violence of Shonen Protagonists. For all of his friendliness and desires to just live in peace and take care of other people, he gets caught in a cycle of trying to do the right thing when the right is hard to do, trying to live selflessly in devotion to his sister, until he snaps and gets violent. Sigma does not just get violent with people who deserve it though, he's also capable of hurting the people he loves because he is out of control in his more violent moments. This foils Getos cycle of consuming curses over and over until he finally snaps.
Sigma's also meant to be a character of extreme emotional intelligence, he basically figures out the flaw in Gojo and Geto's dynamic within a few minutes of meeting them, Gojo works best when he is on his own he doesn't need his connection to others and Geto somewhat drags him down.
As for Delta she is basically designed to be everything Sigma is not. Sigma is strong and independent and the caretaker, Delta is weak, and needs to be taken care of because of her illness. Sigma is born with an exceptionally strong body, whereas Delta is in the process of decaying.
Sigma and Delta were originally based off this poem.
O'er Mithgarth
 Hugin and Munin both,
Each day set forth to fly;
For Hugin I fear lest he come not home,
But for Munin my care is more.
Hugin and Munin are the twin ravens that serve Odin in Norse Mythology, Hugin is thought, and Munin memory. There's a connection there for Jung's idea of the conscious and subconscious. Delta would be Hugin, the more intellectual of the two representing higher thought. Whereas Munin is Sigma who is the shadow, representing impulse, desire and animal instinct. Delta is also logic, wheras Sigma is emotion. They're also the divide between Intellect and Instinct, Delta does all the planning, Sigma is the fighter carrying out her plans.
They're also created from the red oni and blue oni fairytale, at the end of the story the pair of oni are separated just like Sigma and Delta can't stay together. I also never mention this in the fic but Delta dyes her hair blue.
Delta is also meant to be a foil to Shoko, Shoko is listless and obsessed with death despite the fact she has an immortal, she's also ambivalent about living. All Delta wants to do is live, she's absolutely fascinated, loves learning new things, despite having a sickly body she is extremely animated and talkative to the point of being hyperactive.
There's a lot of details about Sigma and Delta I never shared in the fic I might as well share here. Basically when Sigma and Delta were living together, Sigma did all the housework, he basically cleans up, cooks, and babysits Delta. He doesn't actually mind doing any of this because his greatest joy is taking care of others. Delta on the other hand is a disaster she can't really do any housework at all, and she can't take care of herself, she's an insomniac who often stays awake for days straight and then has to get dragged to bed by Sigma.
Sigma likes animals and sometimes he just finds animals and brings them home and Delta has to tell him to put them back. Delta is absolutely despised by every animal in existence, dogs try to bite her, cats hiss at her, one time she got chased by a pack of dogs up a pole.
Sigma is also bossed around by Delta frequently. A lot of outsiders to their relationship think that Delta is borderline emotionally abusing him, but Sigma is so thick headed he really doesn't care if Delta hurls insults at him. Delta is also very caustic just naturally, whereas Sigma is overly friendly, he knows Delta's not being malicious that's just how she talks to people. She's all bark and no bite more or less.
Delta loves to sew and make clothing, all of her clothing is custom made and she also dresses up Sigma sometimes. They both have a specific fashion sense. Sigma always dresses in suits with animal prints, and he thinks it's the coolest thing in the world, but to complete strangers he just looks like he's in the Yakuza. I've never posted art of Delta, but she's obsessed with Victorian Era fashion. Sigma's style is very japanese, and Delta's is western inspired. Delta's love of dolls inspires her fashion. Also Delta's love of dolls and puppets is something many people consider creepy, but Delta's always like... "What... it's not weird, I just like them." Delta is also partially based off of corpse puppets, and the teacher guy who made Panda, which is a concept I think is underexplored with Jujutsu Techniques which is why she has a doll / puppet obsesion in the first place. One more idea that went into her character is that much like Shoko, she studies Jujutsu and curses like it is a cold, clinical science and wants to discover the connection between curse techniques and the biological processes in the bodies.
Their concept of Twins who are not biological Twins is inspired by the anime Mawaru Penguindrum, where two main characters are said to be twins, but it turns out one of them is adopted and they just happened to be born on the same birthday.
Sigma is going to appear in a future fic for sure, he will be in the fic called the "Tokyo Zodiac Murders." Basically, my Zenin Massacre Arc rewrite is being split into two fics, the first one from Mai's perspective of the events leading up to the massacre and internal clan politics. The second is Maki and Yuta being sent to Hakari's fight club, to encounter Sigma who is already there. It's basically what Maki is doing before the Zenin Massacre happens because she goes there instead of going straight to the Zenin compound, and at the end the Zenin Massacre happens from Maki's perspective instead of Mai's. Sigma's role in the fic will basically to be to act as a foil to Maki and Yuta, and we will get to see him ten years later as an adult. He is also connected to the character Yuki Tsukumo and currently working with her. His biggest connection is to Yuta though, because they are both haunted by the curse left behind by their dead loved ones, Rika for Yuta, and Delta for Sigma.
I hope that answers your questions anon, thanks for taking an interest in my ocs!

Pics: For Part 2 of "Teuton's War- Song."
1. Odin/Wooden on his throne, with his flying spies Hugin (memory) & Munin (thought).
Also present are his personal guards Geri (ravenous) & Freki (greedy).
Odin taught people to learn from how ravens & wolves cooperated on the hunt, how they cared for their families & defended themselves.
2. This looks like Marvel's 1st map for the lands of Asgard, where a younger Thor had so many early adventures!
Still waiting for the MCU to set up an Early Thor Adventures TV show...
An untried son of thunder, learning to wield a weapon based on "absolute honor & worthiness" - all the while exploring the hidden places & dangers of mythological worlds!!
My Gods! It writes itself...
3 & 4. Two fairly modern versions of the mythical Asgard (divine 'fort'?).
Weird Bit: After Asgard was built, a protective wall was needed against Ice Giant attacks.
So, an unnamed Jotunn & his stallion offered to build the wall - in return for the sun, moon & marriage to Freya!!
The Aesir agreed - so long as he could finish in 1 year...
To the Gods's surprise, the stallion is helping to quickly finish the wall!
So, Loki "changes his appearance" to that of a female horse!!
With his horse distracted by Loki's sexual hijinks, the Jotunn knows he won't finish the wall on time.
So, he reveals that he's a Jotunn in a blaze of anger!
And Thor kills the giant - as he usually does.
Later, Loki gives birth to Sleipnir (slippery?) - an 8 legged grey horse that becomes Odin's mount!
So, did Loki stay a female horse until Sleipnir's birth date?
Or, did he walk outside proudly - as a pregnant 'man'...
Way to represent!
5. Cover for a book collecting the best of Kant's philosophical works.
There's a strange 'rumor' going around that pics supposedly showing Kant's picture - actually depict somebody else...
6. Midgard!! Or, a viking named map of Europe!
Enjoy the madness of an ancient tongue...
7 & 8. What were the einherjar actually eating?
Saehrimnir (sooty sea beast) is now thought to be a boar - with tusks, hooves & a date to be dinner!!
Yet, the translation of its name also suggests some kind of large seafood!
Walrus?
These mammals are seen as far south as St. Laurence Island & the Pribilof Islands.
9 & 10. Two renditions of the einherjar (those who fight alone).
Although they form an army, there's no true - united strategy in their attacks!!
Each man runs forward & attacks or defends as he sees fit!
This might work best for Berserkers but, it can easily become a mass of stalemate & confusion...
End.

Codex entry: A Letter to Harding
“My darling Lace:
I hope this letter finds you healthy and happy. Last week, I managed to barter for maps of Ferelden and Orlais from Hugin, the old soldier who rents the place on Mistress Johann's farm—you remember him, don't you? Quiet man, always smoking a pipe in his chair on the porch. He wasn't using the maps anymore, so I gave him some of my jam and patched his coat in exchange for them. Now, whenever you tell me of your travels, I'll be able to track where you've been. I'm astounded, my darling, when I look at the weave of dotted trails I've already marked out on my maps. Oh, the places your feet have touched! How far you've gone, my little Lace. I am so, so proud of you. When I was your age, I'd only ever gone as far as Lothering. My mother never left Redcliffe; she lived and died there. And now here you are, flying so far with so much purpose. My mind can barely comprehend it, but my heart swells.
I shan't take up too much of your time. I know how busy you are. I am looking at the Frostbacks on the map as I write this, because I know you will likely be at your Skyhold. Please make sure to dress warmly. I have included the recipe for your favorite turnip-goat stew. A taste of home to stave off the cold mountain airs.
Kisses and hugs from me and your father.
Mother”

I Have the Best Brother
Fact: I have the best brother.
I was writing a scene where Luka and Adrien were talking about tattoos, and I had one specifically in mind for Luka of Odin’s ravens, Hugin and Munin, on his shoulder blades. I got the idea from MonteCristo.
A couple years ago, my brother Lemarc and I were watching Monte do a stream of his play-through of What Remains of Edith Finch, and during the stream, I think someone in chat asked Monte to show us the raven tattoos on his back. So he did, and they were really neat.
I was trying to find a picture online of Monte’s tattoos to use as a reference, but I came up empty. I went upstairs to see if Lemarc could help me, but he couldn’t find a reference picture for me either.
So I shrugged it off and came back downstairs, and, about fifteen minutes later, Lemarc came down and told me that he’d found where Monte had said that the ravens looked like the imprint on a tenth century coin, so Lemarc poked around online and found: the Raven Penny. So now I have a reference picture.
Verdict: Best brother.

AHA this is so awkward sorry
I was reading your fic (amazing, laughed my ass off) and I was starting to picture how Shelldon put the highlights together, and my brain began writing it out.
So, out of curiosity, are we ever going to see how Sheldon patched it together? And, would it be possible that an anon on ao3 such as I could post my version of said highlights video.
Thank you! That was the goal :)
The highlight reel was something i thought of in the moment and decided to throw that in there. I might write a little thing thats all just Hugin and Munin's (i think i spelled their names wrong but i dont have time to google that rn) commentary for certain moments, which would be included in the copy of the tournament every competitor is going to be given to take home (which itself includes the highlight reel). Maybe even have the "camera" flip to 12!Mikey who provides a analysis of the fight or maybe just judges each sides performance from 1-10. I also think it would be funny if each 2018 fighter got interviewed after their fight, but i'll be honest i have no idea how to write that.
As for how SHELLDON puts the highlight reel together i actually never thought about that. I actually write the chapters the same day i post them, so i actually have no clue how the events will unfold. So if thats something you're interested in doing, go for it!!! Im honored this is actually something you wanted to do enough to message me about it ❤️
There will be some recap footage playing on the TVs in the background of the Interlude chapter (2018's pov from the Party Room) and the Reunion chapter (2012's pov as they enter the Party Room to meet 12!Mikey again) but it will just be a passing detail

I- i’ve never been asked before LOL
Okay, erm. Lets see. I mean i do like prompts, my beta gives me little ones all the time to get creative juices flowing, though i don't think she knows she does?
Anyhoo, yeah sure!
I guess you can pick from this list: Prompt list. And i’ll see what i can churn out!! Any ship is welcome!
Also small warning: i work better with more ideas then less, so if you want a certain prompt in a certain AU, its best letting me know because that helps me LOADS! I don't do well with creative freedom LOL
I also now know why people take pics of asks to answer them like this, because trying to do it in the app is a huge pain in the fucking arse OTL
