I feel like Taweret has no concept of human boundaries/needs for survival just like khonshu but in a much more wholesome way

Like she tiptoes into Layla’s room in the middle of the night and very carefully lifts the covers up and in the gentlest voice goes, “Laylaaaaaa, are you sleepingggg?” Layla grumbles and says, “yes, what do you need?” And Taweret just lays the blanket down again and goes, “nothing, just checking” before tiptoeing out. Cut to her standing in front of a cork board w a bunch of graphs on it utterly confused as to why layla is sleeping all the time lol

A very jumbled collection of Human Khonshu thoughts before I get ready for the day:

[I'm thinking of an overstimmed khons] Like. Okay. He might feel LESS things in his human form, right? But those things are much more exact and (best way to put it) more potent. It being more THERE being a lot for him you know? He likes the way he can feel things now but one day maybe They're on a busy street? it's just. Too much. Too much noise. Too many smells. Too much light. Everything is there and he just - can't handle it. Which is a first. All of that with him having an unfamiliar feeling of tears and a familiar anger swirling together. One of the boys, whoever is fronting at the time, touching his shoulder and him snapping at them. I imagine him not being sure of what he's supposed to do in the situation, but eventually getting out. Doesn't apologize for yelling at them but he eventually feels better

Also thinking about his feelings around losing his godhood. He's upset over it, duh, but it's not just because he's lost his power (or most of it) he's upset partly because he feels like he's no longer helping the humans (even if his 'helping' is a bit.. bloody). He's mad that they've sentenced him to this fate for 'getting to close' and he's even more pissed that gods are taking AMUSEMENT in his suffering. He doesn't like feeling small and that's what he's stuck as. He's just another face and nobody pays mind to him (which still upsets him as much as when he was a god) BUT I do think he likes getting to see the city from a different perspective. I do love him loving the new set if senses and finding pleasure in almost everything

Also have I talked about him having freckles that mimic star patterns?? Because yeah Never sat down to draw them but he's got white/silver/pale yellow freckles all over him that are basically a star map

Khonshu had to be nerfed in small, inconvenient ways because of the length of his powers

Yes, being forever young is cool until the other gods people make you sit at the ‘kids table’ for kicks

Or when the sun rises your powers are instantly reduced to not even a quarter of what they were before

And lord forbid having people make constant bird jokes only about you when multiple gods are in fact, birds.

When they were younger Ammit tried to make Khonshu eat bird feed
