Greetings !! I apologize for being this direct! I know times are tough and I might sound desperate but I’m hoping that you would be so kind to please boost/share the post I pinned for my cat who needs urgent help as we are trying to raise some funds for her needs if you have some time to spare, It would be so meaningful to me as I’m praying it would reach more people and gain traction at the same time, please 💔🙏
Unsure if anyone who follows me has gotten one of these, but this is a scam and the blog is fake (the oldest post is 13 hours old).
This kind of scam has apparently been making the rounds lately (just search #pet donation scam) and I wanted to showcase how easily they can dupe you.
As a beloved cat owner myself, it honestly makes me sick to my stomach that these assholes are trying to rely on people's sympathy for injured/ailing cats to scam and steal money. It also makes people who genuinely actually need help more vulnerable/unbelievable. It's sick and twisted, and I hope people can learn from my post here.
Anyway, have an actual legit pic of my kitty, Bree, for your troubles. She is 100% healthy and fine, I just figured y'all would love to see her adorable face.

DID YOU GET BATDAD!
not yet, it's just been Oops! All Riddles! over here. 😭 I've hit the point now where I have to decide if I want to keep trying, or if I want to save my remaining keys for future cards. like, on the one hand, I'm not really in the market for another defense SSR right now -- especially a fire-typed one, and especially when I have to be realistic about my chances of getting that third-element attack, you know? but on the other hand, his battle sprite looks like this:
he SURFS AROUND with STITCH how am I supposed to say no to that
on the third hand, I just know that if I blow all my keys on this event, they're going to drop another main story card of, like, Silver going super saiyan or something and I'm going to kick myself so hard I go into orbit.

One thing I truly adore about Palia is the polyamory and general queerness. It's so nice that we can romance everyone so we don't miss any plots or items, but also its nice as a poly-queer person to see some representation in a game.
There is no jealousy. There is no hateful or painful breakups (as I understand it, if you break-up it is not mentioned and you restart the romance plot-line). No one makes negative comments about two pins or switching out pins.
It's so nice to see positive rep in a game and honestly such a breath of fresh air.

not to talk about YouTubers but I think the way people are discussing hbomberguy's new video about plagiarism feels to me like they are missing the mark. I don't know if we should be taking pleasure in the destruction of careers, even if they are for legitimate reasons. I myself was a James Somerton subscriber and his work "Making it Big" was really impactful to me because I first watched it as a young queer person who had yet to read academic writing on queer history and media, and I have had a family member who died in the AIDS crisis who I never knew, and seeing a work that celebrated that history of queer sex In a documentary format lifted word for word from a book by a queer scholar was upsetting to discover today. But the takeaway, as Harris discusses, is not to revel in the downfall of a creator, but like, go and seek out academic queer writing. I think it is fine to be upset with Somerton's actions, but like I don't know if I like the memes about finally feeling justified a creator you don't like is being destroyed or like that Hbomberguy the channel's project is now to destroy people who have made their careers lying (Like Tommy Tallarico). Idk im never engaging with Somerton's work again but the way people are reacting seems to have missed that the work is about plagiarism and not like gleeful takedowns of shitty creators.

So here’s the thing about chapter 6 that has plagued me for months now; I thought I noticed a difference in Arthur’s appearance between my first and second playthroughs but I wasn’t certain because I didn’t take a lot of screenshots. For my third playthrough I played it up as much as possible (#2 I took really good care of Arthur, frequent rest/baths/meals/etc, #3 I neglected him as much as I possibly could) and uh, yeah. Screenshots for comparison.

I think there is a difference between "I'm not supporting this incremental change/policy because it will not work/it is not something which will be sustainable even at a small scale," and "I'm not supporting this incremental change/policy because it is not doing absolutely everything I want it to do"
I see this with my fellow USAmericans a lot where there will be a new bill, for instance, that only makes small (but positive!) changes, but because it is an incremental change and not a magical bill that will undo 200+ years of the United States Being Like That, they won't support it. I absolutely sympathize with the frustration that comes from politics, especially because it is slow, tireless, and often thankless, but I really can't emphasize that if you throw in the towel at every opportunity, you can make way for worse outcomes. You don't need to stop at incremental changes, but you also do not want to see the alternatives if you care about your fellow people.

*Sips on calming tea*
It’s OK I can do this without getting mad
*Inhales*
My friends! My pals! My besties, even!!!
*Lights up incent*
The reason Felix gave the ring back to Gabriel is that he was planning on snapping him out of existence within two weeks
*Dims the lights to create a relaxing atmosphere*
Let me repeat this just in case you didn’t get it
*Puts on classical music*
He was planning on snapping Gabriel out of existence. Meaning the jerk would have basically been dead
*Unrolls yoga mat*
So Gabriel would not have been able to use the amok to control Adrien anymore
*Gets into the lotus position*
Because he would have been too busy
*Squeezes stress toy until their head pops off*

thinking about how sam and dean were made responsible for each other's physical safety and lives in high-risk, high-stakes environments from such a young age from going on hunts together (with John) and even if John mostly tried to keep them and especially Sam out of the worst of it can you imagine knowing your sibling lives or dies on your watch while most kids are worried about who they're taking to prom good god no wonder these boys are not normal about each other
