Kai sighed and stared at the pile of fabric on the table. “I already bought the costume. We stood in the costume store for an hour and a half while he picked it out. What’s that over there?” Kai pointed at the pile and you paused your work to pick it up. “It’s his costume.” You smiled at his honest reaction. Him? Kaishi wanted to be him for Halloween? “Damn that brat for always making me feel like this...” Kai gripped at his chest and smiled widely. The boy had said in the past that he wanted to be just like him, but it never failed to make Kai feel that blossom of pride and warmth swell up his chest. A few days passed and it was finally Halloween. You passed the candy handling duty off to Pops since the old man decided not to join you three for trick or treating. It was adorable seeing your baby boy standing next to his father looking like clones. Same golden eyes, (h/c) skin, and that killer stoic expression your husband always sported. “Are you ready to go, my baby?” Kaishi’s eyes lit up and his demeanor changed in an instant. “YES YES LET’S GO!” Kai smiled and followed the two of you out the door, never feeling that pride subside for the entirety of the night.

-Halloween was the best night of his life to be out. The League gained traction and (much like Stain) ended up having some merchandise and following. No doubt companies profiting off something controversial. Lot’s of people were out dressed in costumes pertaining to the organization. Have they no shame? Oh well whatever, Dabi didn’t care. He loved being able to be out almost all night long and sometimes most of the day. That was until he lost that opportunity when he met you. He screwed around and fell in love with you and next thing he knew you were pregnant (or had adopted depending on the reader). He was hesitant on even the slightest idea of fatherhood. He didn’t have the best upbringing and didn’t feel like he should contribute toward bringing a kid of his own into this fucked up world. He still had some unresolved issues of his own. The moment his hands touched the baby for the first time, he knew he wanted to dedicate himself entirely toward them having a different childhood than the one he had to suffer through. Kids are so sweet and innocent. His son looked at him the same way that you did: with all the love and adoration in the world despite all the fucked up stuff he’d done. The two of you cared deeply for Dabi and his son even admired him. That’s probably why you were trying to desperately glue a shit ton of fake staples onto your kid while Dabi stood there trying not to chuckle. “Are you sure about going as me this year? Your mom/daddy/parent here has been struggling for the past 2 hours and we got a 30 minute window left.” You had to fight the urge to tell him to shut the fuck up when you 6 year old was literally right there. “I’m sure! I wanna be daddy for Halloween so please keep going! Look!!!” He reached tiny hands into his pocket and pulled out blue tissue paper he started to crinkle with his fingers. “Look at my blue flame!”

~Trumpet~

-Hanabata was both honored and confused at the same time. He watched the two of you standing in the shop and getting a tailormade suit for his little boy all because the boy wanted to be him for Halloween. “Are you absolutely sure you wanna go through with this? I mean, isn’t Halloween supposed to be scary? Wanna be a ghost, or Frankenstein’s monster, or a Werewolf?” The little boy looked up and puffed his already chubby cheeks out with a pout. “No daddy, no! I wanna be you for Halloween!” You gently shushed him since the shop was quiet after all. “It’s okay baby. Koku, let him express himself. Besides, I’d wanna be a super cool politician too.” You teased him with a wink and he cleared his throat. “Ah well, I suppose I understand.” The entire way home your son was over the top excited about his new suit. He chattered and you swore you could see the blush on Hanabata’s face forming. ‘Me? He thinks I’m that cool?’ It was rare to have someone think that way about his career considering it wasn’t the most exciting. Of course the boy didn’t understand politics since he was only 6 years old, but he DID understand his daddy was important. More than anything, he loved Koku so of course it’s only natural he wanted to be him. On Halloween Hanabata stopped the two of you at the doorway. He took off his glasses and cleaned them with his tie before placing them carefully on his son’s face. “Now let’s go trick or treat, eh?” He smiled and pat the boys head. “YAY!!!!”

-He didn’t imagine he’d have the worlds biggest fan in such a small package. Ever since she was just a small girl (under the age of 1) the two of them were attached at the hip. Tomoko was a huge daddy’s girl and she had Skeptic wrapped around her little finger. That’s why he was overjoyed with pride when she came into the bedroom one day and spoke loudly in her tiny voice “I’m gonna be just like daddy for Halloween!!!” You smiled at the thought of it. She’d already had a head full of hair (texture depends on the reader), and it was nearly covering her own eyes considering Tomoyasu didn’t want her to cut it and neither did she. Her posture was a little more like daddy’s since she spent time being hunched over the table coloring for hours and hours on end while he worked on his laptop right beside her. Tomoko could pull off the costume without a doubt. When you’d pieced the simple outfit together finally, Skeptic stood in the corner taking so many pictures that you were sure his memory card would be full by now. While out the two of you had formed a trick or treat group with some of the other parents from the school where your daughter attended. It was cute watching the kids talk about their costumes to each other.

“I’m Batman! What are you?”

“Me? Haha, I’m a big giant rat!”

“Well I’m a swamp monster! What about you Tomoko?”

alright so it's time for me to overanalyze this whole chapter (but particularly that last scene omfg)

okay so first of all im still not quite over the sneak peak. "for my beautiful wife" (get me a benedict bridgerton i beg of you).

the teddy scene was so sweet omg!!! the way ben and clover are just acting so domestic is soooo adorable! and it's so sweet that as clover starts to be more open with ben, so does teddy. he's literally gone from hiding behind clover's skirts whenever ben is around to “looking up at him as if asking for his help", and idk, to me that just seems meaningful that even teddy (who was so opposed to clover getting married) likes ben, because it would be so easy for him to not like ben because he 'took clover away' so to speak. AND THE WAY HE JUST PICKED TEDDY UP AND PUT HIM ON HIS SHOULDERS!!! MEN WHO ARE GOOD WITH KIDS ARE SO HOT ISTG!!!!

"You knew you were supposed to focus on your own work but it was a bit difficult when Benedict was sitting not far from you on the floor with his sleeves rolled up, letting you steal glances at his strong arms." she's honestly so real for that, arms are hot asf. and OMG don't even get me STARTED on “So that people will get to see what true beauty looks like even after five hundred years.” because holy shit benedict bridgerton is THE STANDARD. and the way clover has such confidence in bens art!!! pls i literally love them so much i can't-

awwww and then andrew/bess/josie bit!! i was wondering when ben was going to ask about them for a couple of weeks. i love how clover was willing to just tell him without being scared he'd massively judge them or something. like of course he wouldn't but clover is super distrustful most of the time so i was wondering how open she'd be about someone who is as important to her as josie is.

stuff about the madrigals in my dr! [ 1 / ? ] just wanted to talk about this since i just think the madrigal’s are so cute and cool and quirky and i might turn this into a series-ish thingy idrk

okay. mirabel does get her own room after the movie events. i know because i helped out with it 🚶‍♀️ it wasn't a surprise or anything because how tf are you gonna keep that a secret from her?? who knows her own house like the back of her hand? it's mainly blue themed with a bunch of butterflies hanging from the ceiling (courtesy of me 🙄), also some new sewing stuff just for her! she was really grateful for it

camilo doesn't flirt a lot! at least not on purpose. you see, i see tons of fics portray him as some super sensual teen who throws compliments at every little lady he sees down the street, which is totally what i expected as well! instead, he's more just really nice, he's not trying to make you flustered or tease you or make you fall for him. it's a genuine compliment with no intention other than to make you smile or state his opinion even though it leaves my face burning most of the time. though yes, he's definitely completely capable of full on flirting, especially when you two are close (as someone who's been a victim) 😭

pepa is a fashionista. she's an icon, she's a legend, she is the moment. no but really though. i come from a family of refined tailors (which is hard to believe due to my clumsy hands) my mami had already done a few orders here and there for pepa before i even formally met the madrigals! i soon found out that the commissioner for the dresses that i cut pieces of yellow tulle for, had to gather and color code a bunch of little sequins for, and even the one where i had to take a break every 5 minutes to stop my hands from shaking from the precise cuts i had to make, all of those fancy and intricate dresses were for none other than señora pepa 😟

casita has preferences and a personality! i visit la casa madrigal a lot and my favorite part of being there has always been communicating with the lovely house. i remember holding up flowers once for a crown i was making in the nursery with mirabel, asking casita if it prefered marigolds or daisies! to which it replied with forming a small lump in the floor, pointing up to my left hand with the daisies. it also rumbles the floor a bit when me and camilo are being too loud for dolores' liking

mirabel is a cryer. she's really emotional and sensitive. yes, the treatment from her family made her a tough girl, but after casita was rebuilt, she was able to relax a bit more. she cries a lot when you give her gifts cause it makes her feel so special. so you imagine the waterworks when we told her we're giving her her own room

julieta is scary. like she's very sweet! but like i don't know, maybe cause she has that mom energy, but her sweetness makes her so intimidating. i literally love her and i spend a lot of time with her since i like doing the dishes, but me and mira accidentally broke a vase once and all hell broke lose. she didn't yell, she didn't hit us. she was eerily calm, but not a trace of sweetness left in her voice. 💀 and she called bel by her full name. fucking terrifying shit

i'm pretty sure i made a post about this before but camilo can cook! yes, still very capable of burning down casita 😔 but at least he can make a good meal while at it! what started off with sunny side up eggs, is now natillas, buñuelos, and ugh he makes killer empanadas. when he cooks, he's so.. relaxed. like he's not trying. he looks adorable with a brown apron around his torso and his hair in a bun. i don't know, camilo in the kitchen just looks and feels so.. right? he seems so chill but at the same time, so confident like he knows what he's doing. It was your annual family holiday and you were so excited, your family holidays were always filled with fun and games, your family being incredibly laid back. Tom was coming on this one and he was incredibly nervous, he'd only met your parents briefly and after being with you for almost 9 months he worried this would make them not like him, especially your dad.

"Why are you so nervous baby?" You asked Tom as you watched him run his hand through his hair for what must have been the millionth time that morning.

"I'm just worried your dad won't like me." He admitted with a sigh and you kissed his cheek.

"You worry too much, he'll love you!" You said comfortingly and Tom just shook his head.

"Y/N, I have been with you for almost nine months and this is the first time I'm meeting him properly. What if he thinks I'm some sort of fuck boy?" Tom worried and you laughed.

"Tom, my parents know what you do for a living, they know how busy you are. Trust me, you're worrying too much."

Tom tried to relax slightly, although he was still nervous, this was a family trip that involved all of your brothers and sisters and their partners. He was literally meeting them all properly at the same time. The only member of your family he knew by this point was your sister.

"Hey Tom!" Your sister said as she approached the two of you, her toddler in her arms. Your nephew was adorable and your youngest niece/ nephew. All your siblings were older than you, your sister was the second youngest and you had three older brothers. You came from a big family, the same as Tom and you were all close.

"Hey." Tom said back and your sister laughed.

"You look ridiculously nervous." She pointed out. "Don't be, believe it or not our dads actually a pretty cool one." She said.

"Y/N!" Your oldest brother said as he approached, pulling you into a hug, he was the only sibling who didn't have children, he'd been pretty unlucky in love. "This must be Tom," he said as he gestured to your nervous boyfriend.

"Hey," Tom said as he held out his hand, your brother shaking it.

"Y/N talks about you all the time!" Your brother laughed and you almost cursed him out. "Loved 'Cherry' by the way, amazing work." Your brother complimented and you smiled.

"Thank you." Tom said with a wide smile, you could tell he was relaxing slightly.

"Watch out for my oldest nephew, huge marvel fan." He laughed and Tom smiled, it felt strange to be recognised and complimented like this. He enjoyed being recognised and interacting with fans of course, but, your family liking and complimenting him? That just hit different for him.

Tom met the rest of your family and naturally your nieces and nephews were in awe. They really believed Spiderman was joining their holiday, it made you smile at how easily Tom was getting along with everyone, your brothers easily falling into conversation with him.

"You will be late to your own funeral." You heard the youngest of your brothers say and you turned to look, finding your dad approaching as your mum hurried him through the airport.

"I swear he does it on purpose." Your mother laughed as she pulled each of her children in for a hug, followed by their partners. "Tom, it's so nice to finally meet you properly." Your mum said as she pulled him in for a hug.

"She's a hugger my wife. You'll get used to it." Your dad laughed as he shook Tom's hand.

The plane journey went relatively well, or so you assumed, you fell asleep almost half an hour into the flight. Just as Tom was about to wake you, he saw a hand reach over the back of your seat and roughly ruffle your hair.

"Y/N! Get up you lazy shit." Your middle brother said as you almost jumped awake, Tom stifling a laugh at your expression.

"Oi!" You almost shouted as you smoothed your hair down, grabbing your brothers hand and playfully twisting it.

The day had gone well, you'd all split off to do your own things, you and Tom had headed out to do some shopping. Returning with a shit ton of stuff as you placed it all in your room. You changed into your bikini, the next thing you were going to do was chill by the villa's pool.

You were sunbathing next to Tom when you felt hands on your ankles and wrists, two of your brother's lifting you and throwing you into the pool. You came back up after a while, shocked expression on your face as you narrowed your eyes at your brothers.

"You little fuckers!" You shouted, mindful that no children were around. You watched as Tom tried but failed to stifle his laugh. "It's not funny, I was chilled." You exclaimed as your brother's laughed loudly.

"I'm sorry but that was pretty funny." Tom said as you swam to the side of the pool, Tom extending a hand to pull you up. You grasped it and as he was about to pull you up, you used all your strength to pull him in with you, a loud splash following as your brother's fell into an even bigger fit of laughter. Tom coming up after a moment.

"What the hell? I didn't do anything." Tom said and you shrugged.

"You laughed, you should've protected me and thrown them in!" You said, watching an amused grin spread across your brother's face.

"Y/N, you might have been the favourite L/N before, but he's met us now. That's it, he'll be on our team." He laughed and you playfully narrowed your eyes at them.

It had come to the evening, all of you were growing tired from the travelling, your sister and her boyfriend had retired to bed long ago. Your brother's yawning as they sipped their beers. Tom and your dad were engaged in a conversation and it looked like they were getting on really well.

"He's a nice guy." Your oldest brother said as he spoke to you. "I really like him."

"Yeah me too." Your other brother's agreed. "Somehow I expected him to be stuck up his own arse but he's completely the opposite, I like it."

"I'm gonna head to bed." You said after a while, your eyes growing heavier. "Night guys." You said as you stood up, Tom grasping your hand slightly as you walked past him as he stood with you, saying his good nights to your family.

"I thought Tom would be sleeping on the couch." Your dad said and you knew he was joking, you knew he was pretending to be the super over protective dad. You felt Tom stiffen slightly next to you. "Night guys." Your dad said with a small wave.

"Y/N/N, I'm gonna sleep on the couch, I don't wanna upset your dad." Tom said quietly as you made your way into the villa.

"Tom, he was joking!" You laughed.

"What if he wasn't? I don't want him to hate me, not when he's just met me." He said and you knew you weren't talking him out of this as you looked at the determined expression on his face. You gave him a kiss as you made your way up to your room.

"I'll miss you." You pouted, one final attempt to get him to join you.

"I'll miss you too, I love you." He said as he made his way into the living room of the villa and you smiled slightly, he really wanted your dad to like him. You loved him so much it made your heart swell.

You just agreed with him even though you were not doing it.

   So, you just went back to the living room where you took your cell phone on the couch and ordered Chinese food, since you both loved it. It didn't take long for Harry to come out of the bathroom in his sweatpants and damp hair. You sure loved Harry anyway, but when he was like that, with the damp hair of someone who just got out of the bath he literally looked like a Greek god. He sat beside her on the couch, lifting his legs and placing them over his lap. Harry propped his head on the back of the couch watching you place your cell phone on the coffee table. 

— Have you decided on today's recipe? —  He asked, stroking his calf.

❅A Love Letter I Have to My Lovely and Beloved Friends❅

(I just know that 30 july was a national friendship day and today is like 31 july already at where I am but,,, just pretend that this is also for National Friendship Day 🤡🔫)

As you all know, it's been confirmed that I'll be going on a hiatus two days from now that I really don't know how long it will go on. So, with that in mind, I wished to leave this message to all the wonderful friends I've made while I was active here on Tumblr during quarantine.

I've started this writing blog a few months ago, to be precise, on May where life in quarantine was starting to become a norm. In the few months until now, I did my best to start writing and drawing more using all the free times that I have.

I wouldn't have expected this blog to grow so much in such a short time. To me, it was really mind blowing, seeing that there's a lot of other great content creators here on Tumblr. Yet, the 300+ people who stumbled upon my blog still decided to follow me.

I was really happy to have made many contents that I'm actually proud of posting. And I still can't believe there are people out there who love them. Seeing every one of your comments and reblogs and likes really, really, squeezed my heart and I couldn't be more thankful for your support.

And during these fun times, I was able to make friends with many amazing, talented, fantastic and all the good words I could find in the dictionary people on here. You all are a real gift to me and I hold you guys close to my heart.

I still can't believe I was able to befriend you guys though, like, y'all are so amazing and I was just here like squeaking my name to you like a shy mice lmao. =///= Anyways, thank you for all the good and fun times. To all of my dear friends that I've mentioned above, I LOVE YOU LOTS YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW GRATEFUL I AM TO MET YOU GUYS. Quarantine time has been stressful for a lot of people, and Tumblr can sometimes (a lot of times) be kinda whack but I was really happy to met you guys during my time here. Our time together may have been short, but i feel like we've known each other for more than a year, no caps. I love you all very very much. Thank you for talking to me and befriending me.
