#DONT COMMENT ON THE BACKGROUND I KNOWWWWWWWWWWWW #anyway this is day 1. they take a bus. the bakugo household has fishing gear so ´deku is wearing bakugo's onesoe (?) and bakugo is wearing #his dad's. and notices he has grown :')#anyway they take a BUS and don't feel like doing this at all it's awkward for so many reason #also trying to relax after everything is neurologically just really hard they might be hyperivgilant dik #and there's so much they never got to unpack bnut they have to and they have to start somewhere and with someone #deku makes that flower crown while bakugo preps everything and they both look at it and are thrown back into their childhood 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️#and at first they just sit and wait for the bavarian fish to bite (rody should make a cameo tbh) but then bakugo breaks the iceeee.#and he starts with their moms because their moms have been such a stubbron connection between these two :')#and deku answers with the usual 'good :) how's your mom :)?' and to everyone's surprise he actually opens up #and tells deku about his mom's insomnia because she watched her son die (that shit was live streamed tpo 10 bnha tweets btw)#idk i love to think of their moms being a very easy subject to connect through i think it's easier for them that way to be more vulnerablei #and then some fish biteeeeeeeeeeee #but like 3 small ones so they have to gather berries and mushrooms and make stew (dw there's an aldi this is bavaria after all)#but yeah day 1 is a bit weird like it's just them in the woods with no distractions #which is so different from whatever went on during their 1st year of high school #don't read this i will throw up i just need this somewhere this is my public scrapbook #bnha #deku #midoriya izuku #bakugo katsuki #the flower crown on their knees makes this a bit homosexual but fishing is always homosexual im not fighting against that #au:#fishing

really love all the replies to plant treat post, its interesting to think about and overthink about and also some responses are cute fun. my thing was the 'night' (4 or 5 am lol) before we had landed on the discussion of plants being able to see and mimic other plants and it got me lost in the concept of plants as aware thinking creatures that we can just barely understand 2) somiething fucked up happened to the formatting of this 3) Wghy is g,uten free "bread" literally the most miserablw food imagineable. Jesus fucking christ

#theyre very slow creatures for sure but they move and see and. apparently can communicate with one another #though i only know that its to warn other plants of some harmful stimuli. is there more past that?#and moreso can plants have preferences? can plan4s have differing personalities #at least in some small sense? will a plant take what it does not need #do plants want treats. etc #No really though is there any gluten free bread that isnt utterly fucking depressing to eat #i tried eatingva gluten free baguette and one bite ruined my whole day. it SUCKS

My sailfin dragon let me hold him for half a minute and I just

#for reference im still working in his trust #he only recently started eating #by that I mean a couple crickets a day #but it’s a step in the right direction!!#he’s gonna get to be a somewhat large lizard #so he NEEDS to be tamed #like I have a crested gecko who tolerates being held but he LOVES to jump #and a bearded dragon who LOVES attention #but the sailfin will happily bite if he feels threatened (ie hand being near/on him)#and whips his tail #bc he’s a so small his bites don’t really hurt and his tail does nothing #but when he gets older those bites CAN rip out chunks if skin if he was determined to do so #and that tail WILL hurt #he’s still learning to trust #and very well mught be for the next several months #but that’s okay #any progress is still progress #ugh I’m so excited to gain his full trust #you guys have no idea

sometimes it really is just like. is this all there is. feeling oversensitive & undersocialized—too sensitive to socialize—forever, bc you never got enough ~affirmation~ growing up (poor, pathetic baby; how long will you persist in singing the same self-pitying song…), & so never developed the proper emotional cushioning against the heartache & the thousand natural shocks, &c, &c, &c, &c, &c…

#like—you can't get close to people if you're too raw to bear the inevitable grit of misunderstandings and small incompatibilities #we all fail one another. sometimes in a myriad of small ways‚ sometimes in big ones—#sometimes you and people you care about are simultaneously failing each other on separate but parallel tracks #and ultimately you have to be able to bear that and keep reaching out to people anyway‚ as you hope they will to you #and i just. i need so badly for something—someone—to be new and good and an easy fit‚ because i haven't got trying in me #but also frankly i wouldn't trust anything like that if it appeared to me‚ at this point #molly grue voice how dare you come to me now &c #i'm a fussy person whose capacity for delight has drained away #and i think it's SO important to be kind and yet still so often i don't manage it #despite biting my tongue SO often that it hurts‚ which has taught me to feel there's nothing acceptable abt my own reactions #and i never MEAN to be pompous or dickish or whatever but caring about precision and conscientiousness and whatnot isn't in fashion #so i'm pretty sure that's how i come off to most people #and there's no prospect of anything changing and it's just like. sometimes in the night i think. well. i'm basically already dead then.#like. the last‚ i don't know‚ almost-decade at this point has been a slow painful process of sinking ever deeper into exile #stripping away various social positionalities and connections in trade for—nothing.#alien nation.#all the norms are shit but outside them—what is there.#anyway.#feelingsblogging

Oops the Hollow Knight brainrot is strong! I showed off the lass but not the lad. Special thanks to @frostedgrape for cleaning them up for me to color ;v;

The first is Spectr, she is a Vessel that crawled out of the abyss and wandered all the way to Greenpath where she collapsed and almost met the fate of her previous siblings until she was found by the tall lad, a Bee named Stinger.

He brought the sickly child to his Hive where his mother nursed her back to health and now Spectr resides with the Hive. She and Stinger and inseparable, until Spectr wanders off.
