I know Elation is a fan favorite episode of S5 but looking back at it, how Marinette took advantage of Chat not knowing taht she's Ladybug to get him to stil date and kiss her really spiraled down into gross territory and once again it was ADRIEN who was told to do better and improve by taking accountability while Marinette continued crying and getting cuddled by the narrative.

Chat noir at least deceived with open cards, it's obvious that there is a person underneath his mask (even if Marinette never acts like it) but Ladybug didn't get her kissy kissy meow meow and then proceeded to let Chat shower Marinette Dupain-Cheng in all the affection she craves even though one would think Marinette too has a moral obligation in this partnership to protect Chat from any kind he feelings he has for her civilian side since Ladybug and Marinette are the same person and therefore there is logically a special draw that leaves him vulnerable to be taken advantage of by her (the way it literally happened twice, in Elation AND Glaciator 2, where both times Marinette used her civilian side to basically make Chat do whatever she wants as Ladybug).

A draw that interestingly the show had ADRIEN take full accountability for when he thought that's what happened with Marinette in Elation. That because she was so in love with Adrien Agreste she then also had unexplainable feelings for Chat this whole time that echo said civilian love, which ended up hurting her emotionally bc of their complex nature.

ADRIEN was made to take accountability for doing that, Marinette has been benefiting from the way Chat's love for Ladybug also draws him to Marinette Dupain-Cheng for seasons by now (even Weredad in s3) and it just gets swept under the rug. In fact, shes REWARDED for doing that by Adrien then blaming himself for everything and be her prince charming and do all the work for their relationship.

That is.. genuinely gross.

The way the episode AND Marinette both pretend like Marinette is a poor little civilian bystander in this scenario of Elation and NOT civilian Ladybug is pretty damn gross. Cause Ladybug is by the nature of the situation taking advantage of Chat being oblivious to her secret identitiy, who he didn't wanted to be in a relationship with anyone, since lets not kid ourselves Chat at the end of Determination couldn't have rejected her more directly in the most INDIRECT language even if he tried. I don't know how people look at these episodes and genuinely think Adrien isn't aware that LB is flirting as if he had no braincells.

Mate, he very obviously turned her down in Determination and from then onwards continued to non stop run towards Marinette as civilian bc after Determination Ladybug herself refused to take the "no" which she in Determination itself clearly understood it to be. The drastic shift between Marinette crying at the end of Determination and her being love obsessed in Passion makes sense and it results in the disaster of Elation.

It's just...man, the way Chat in Elation opens up to Marinette about how he thinks people wouldn't like him so much anymore if they knew who was under the mask, which for Marinette sounds like Chat is saying that he views Chat Noir as all the value he has as a person, and her then straight up replying that "she doesn't mind him wearing a mask, it doesn't matter who is underneath" is... gurl, who SAYS that? 😭

And the reason why she got away with it is bc Adrien's actually problem is the complete opposite. That Adrien fears that if people knew that Chat Noir is Adrien Agreste Chat would just.. stop existing to the world and Adrien Agreste™ would overwrite anything Chat ever made for himself.

Tahts why he while unhealthily craving love too reacted WELL to her saying she doesn't mind him wearing a mask and that it doesn't matter to her who's underneath.

But GURL, Marinette! From your perspective he just told you that he thinks the person he is underneath has no value and Chat is all he has to find self-worth in. And you just fucking AGREED with him that the person underneath doesn't matter bc you wanted kiss kiss meow meow and Chat's mask is what you wanted to kiss you?? 😱😭

Why is Marinette always written in the way where one seriously has to question if she even acknowledges BY SEASON 5 that Chat Noir exists as a civilian? Its not like her leadership paints any other picture than her apparently thinking Chat just spawns into existence for akumas and that's it.

Add that on top of her ignoring it when they kiss that Chat horrified rips open his eyes once he realizes taht what he's doing is wrong. Her just closing her eyes again bc apparently she genuinely didn't care for more than kiss kiss meow meow in that moment?

Then him trying to tell her that what they're doing is wrong and her just saying anything she thinks will make him go back to kissing her and whne he still refuses she has a whole mood swing, angrily yelling that she has had it with everyone telling her who she gets to love, saying taht SHE wants to finally decide that while starting to cry and, like, I GET her frustration but what she's doing is so guilt tripping by nature that it blows anything inappropriate out of the water Chat Noir ever did to Ladybug??

The person Marinette is kissing tells her no bc he doesn't feel comfortable about it morally bc of the circumstances and Marinette goes off in his face, saying that SHE decides who she kisses and loves and that she's had it that other people decide that for her, as if Chat has no right to possibly tell her no?? That he's a horrible Jerk for going against her decision to now make out with him and date him and she's OWED taht he does it??

Marinette continues literally bawling her eyes out in front of Chat who's feeling extremely guilty about all this and then Marinette is mere seconds away from accepting getting akumatized with the goal of revealing Chat's secret identitiy so he has no excuse anymore to deny her her kiss. An akumatization that only doesn't happen because Adrien is being forced to disregard his own boundaries he set with her and kiss her despite it making him EXTREMELY uncomfortable and feeling guilty of taking advantage of her. Making HIM start to freak out to out of guilt.

Afterwards Marinette is terrified but not because of her almost having turned into Chat's enemy and put his life, loved ones and Paris at risk bc he told her no, but because of the akumatization in general.

Topping it all of with Marinette saying that THEY really act irrationally because of their love, when, gurl, HE got his shit together minutes ago. YOU refused to let Chat Noir tell you no even just ONE time in any of your dynamics with him.

By that point taht wasn't a WE, that was a YOU. And the person who had to actually take fully accountability for this narrative wise was HIM.

Not to mention that Chat in the akuma battle had to finally find the courage to tell Ladybug no DIRECTLY in her face, and that he doesn't love her anymore the way he once did but only as a friend, and dead ass Marinette leaves in the next episode ruining the Hack-San ending.

Bc she was told no by Chat.

He doesn't love her romantically anymore, just as a friend, which apparently is still a horrible fate for Marinette as she's consistently characterized since s1 to concider being friends an unbearable torture inflicted on her. Something which ADRIEN in Protection then had to take accountability for too??

Some of my fave anime ships

No one asked but I'ma share some of my favorite anime ships. I have't watched every anime or anything but I have some that I just can't give up. I've never been the hugest shipper but there are some that just find their way into my heart.

Nalu (Natsu x Lucy: Fairy Tail)- currently rewatching so they're fresh in my mind. They have such a good friendship and they're so loyal to each other. Natsu is also incredibly sweet when he wants to be when it comes to her and she trusts him without hesitation. She jumped out of a window and knew he would catch her in time. Like... what??

Edward and Winry (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)- this is my favorite anime and I will rewatch it but I love that they've been friends since they were kids. They may not have liked each other from the beginning (romantically) but grew into it. The fact that she was his mechanic and he didn't let anyone else fit him for automail, or let anyone work on it... not to mention, I loved their arguments lol and I loved the scene where he tells her basically he loves her in his own way lol. "Equivalent exchange! I'll give you HALF of me if you give me HALF of you!"

NejiTen (Neji x TenTen: Naruto)- Obviously this won't really be a thing since Neji is dead 😭 but I feel like if he wasn't killed, they would have been together. Tenten was the only one Neji seemed to fully respect and trust on his team. They understood each other and I feel like he might have been open about his family with her. I also feel like because Tenten was an orphan and lived on her own, that she felt comfortable around Neji. Plus, Guy and Lee were so over the top that they had to lean on each other.

Inuyasha x Kagome (Inuyasha)- So I know these two get a lot of flack and I think the road to their romance was complicated but I really and truly believe that Inuyasha loves her. Sure, he might have had a hard time in the beginning because of Kikyo but if he didn't care about Kagome he wouldn't have tried to save her as much as he did. Plus, she was always to break him out of his demon spells. I love them lol. I was never a huge Koga fan so I would never support that ship lol. I'm not caught up with Yashahime so don't spoil me!

Atem x Tea (YuGiOh)- So this is an old old ship from when I was young but I always thought that while Yugi was one of Tea's best friends, she liked Atem/Yami Yugi. I really felt like they flirted lol. I rewatched it not too long ago and still stand by that lol. She was always super emotional when it came to stuff with him lol. She was emotional period but super emotional lol.

Senku x Kohaku (Dr. Stone)- I'm not caught up on the manga so no spoilers but I really love the anime and I'm down for this. Now, if it doesn't happen, I'm cool with that because they both seem so... uninterested in romance but they have a trust between them and I think she definitely likes him as of S2. He's so narrow minded on what he's trying to do that he won't notice his feelings for her and hers for him for a while but when he does, I think he'll do everything he can to ignore it. I think that tracks for him.

Kirito x Asuna (SAO)- Obviously they're together and nothing will come between them lol. I'm watching the current season of Alicitization and when Asuna and Alice kind of got into it over him lol had me cracking up. Kirito also has a harem but Asuna is the only one he actually has eyes for... though if it wasn't for her, I think Sinon would have a chance lol. But I love their relationship. They love each other so much that they will literally move heaven and hell to find each other... love them.

Marinette x Adrien (Miraculous Ladybug)- Not quite an anime... I want them to get their shit together honestly. I love this show lol. Their romance square is hilarious but this is what I want. I want the tables to switch, where Ladybug starts to look at Cat Noir differently, as well as her to apologize for how she treats him. Cat Noir deserves much better than what he is given. But also, I think the superior part of their square is Marinette x Cat Noir, since this is the only part of the square where their feelings don't get in the way lol.

Proof that Adrien has liked Marinette since before season 5.

First of all : It's not like it was null and void development. If you compare season 1 to season 4, there are big differences between the two.

In season 1 Adrien barely knew Marinette, she was just another classmate. But as the seasons went on, they grew closer, to the point where he considers her one of his closest friends.

Also the way he looks at her, at first he looked at her just strangely, but now he looks at her with affection. I know a lot were saying "he even looks at his bodyguard like that" they forgot something important. The bodyguard is a man who took care of Adrien since he was a child, he appreciates him very much and is closer to him than to his own father.

Also Adrien has a special way with Marinette, and I'm not just talking to make her feel comfortable. There are many times he invades her personal space and flirts with her (something he rarely does in his civilian form).

Second place: He called her his "everyday Ladybug" I have to explain why it's weird that he compares his good friend to his crush.

Third place: I know many say, "if he was attracted to Marinette, he would have dated her instead of Kagami." Kagami had initiative, she went straight to what she wanted,which Marinette couldn't do. Plus Marinette told Adrien that she didn't see him romantically, what was the guy going to think. 🙄😒

Fourthly: the reason Adrien is going to fall in love with her is because he feels he can count on her in time of need. More than once she has helped him or listened to him when he needed her. (So says the Miraculous bible.).

Also, since Alya and Nino's relationship came about after they kissed when Nino still liked Marinette.... Relationships at that age don't have to have that much explanation. And it's the truth. In real life one can like someone for no reason or for asshole reasons. But adrinette DOES have an explanation.

In Stormy Weather 2, Adrien briefly thinks Marinette likes him and gets excited, but when he remembers that she likes Luka, he just puts on a sad smile.

Adrien has always wanted someone he can share everything with (like Alya and Nino's relationship) and well seeing that apparently Marinette will finally throw away his photos, and he will notice her. Eventually they will have a more normal relationship.

I’m the anon that defended Kagami before. So here’s the thing. Of course Marinette introduced Chat and Flairmidable. They didn’t know each other. That doesn’t mean she was choosing them both. She was going to choose Flairmidable as a love interest and Chat as a friend and that was going to hurt him regardless. In Marinettes case, she didn’t choose them both. She was smart enough to realize they could not be 3 forever and , due to her own insecurities, exempted herself from the situation instead of finding out what Adrien wanted. She did this in the ice cream scene and I’m sure it sent a message to Kagami that Marinette was throwing in the towel.

Then Adrien and Kagami spend time together and this boy is being flirty as hell, wiping ice cream from her face and all. Of course she took it a certain way. Marinette had already shown she was willing to back down so Kagami took the bait BECAUSE he was showing interest. Adrien was giving her hella mixed signals. He’s the one who originally asked HER ice skating. He didn’t ask Marinette. He didn’t give Marinette a rose. Of course she thought he was into her. Also there was such a short time span of them dating that we never got to see if Kagami and Marinette had a conversation around what this meant for their friendship. I think Marinette was 100 percent in the right to never hold this against Kagami. She knew they couldn’t be 3. One of them was going to get hurt and she acknowledged that before anyone else did. Marinette doesn’t want to step in the way of her friends being happy with one another to preserve her feelings and Kagami and Adrien did seem happy. Adrien had told her he liked Kagami. Why would she be mad at her?

And I’m not defending the way Kagami treated Adrien. That’s another subject. She was domineering and controlling as a love interest. It was never going to work. He would have gone along with her, as he does with his father, and inevitably snapped one day, cheating in her with Marinette ir something.

You kind of missed the point of my post. I'm talking about Ladybug still being careful Chat Noir and Flammidable (how tf did he come up with this name it took me too long to learn how to say/spell it) and she and Chat Noir would've been friends. At least in Marinette's head. She was planning that they will get along, that they're going to be a team. That Chat Noir is getting along with Flairmidable. And at that period Ladybug and Chat Noir had a lot of problems in their relationship and from Ladybug's pov Chat Noir was wrong, if you get me this is about Ladynoir conflict but this not the subject we're talking about now. She took them both in consideration is what's important even if we take everything else that happened between them in consideration.

But Marinette and Kagami's relationship was improving in that period. Thinking Adrien likes Kagami is one thing, but she saw Marinette as a rival in the end and didn't care about their friendship. She tried to be friends with her but in the end when she had to make a choice, Marinette was a rival to her, not a friend, a rival. "I don't want to hurt her but-" and then she did it. I'm not saying she should've given up on Adrien, but that decision was too easy for her to make. Marinette told Kagami earlier not to go after her, but she was obviously hurt. I would've check up on her later or something, especially if I was about to make a move on a guy she likes, if I, you know, cared about her. I would've checked up on her not for the guy but for her, because she was obviously down when she left. Marinette checked up on Kagami after her breakup with Adrien, instead of going for Adrien. Kagami literally did the opposite. You find out your friend is hurt and you also have a chance to flirt with a guy you like. Which one do you choose? It's not about Adrien, it's about their friendship I'm talking about here and them as people. Marinette didn't see any advantage from Kagami's break up with Adrien, but Kagami saw advantage of Marinette leaving sad and lonely. Or she could've chose both, like Ladybug chose both. I don't see the problem with choosing both or choosing Adrien only but if you're a friend you're a friend and friends are there for each other, and they are invested in each other. On the roof Ladybug told her "you'll break a lot of hearts" and that's when Kagami said she doesn't want to hurt Marinette but she wants to choose Adrien. She knew and she didn't check up on Marinette later nor even thought about her like Marinette immediately thought of Kagami. That's what sent me. Kagami truly had luck Marinette is forgiving, also no salt on Adrienette (never) but I would've given up on my crush too after that bc I would legit thought it's a waste of time, he'll never choose me. I guess Adrien also had luck Marinette is optimistic. She had nothing to forgive but now she's still interested in him after everything that has happened... God I hate season 3 finale so much... I hate even talking about it. I'm typing and the disappointment is just as big as when I first time saw it.

Thoughts and Reaction to GLACIATOR 2

Watched it earlier but didn't have time to rewatch for a second time while I write a post up like usual, so it's a little late. Also a heads up, this is a really long post. Like insanely long. I'm so sorry, but this episode was PACKED. Wow, so right off the bat, if it wasn't for Chat Noir being distracting with his flirting in Oblivio.... Chat Noir wouldn't have been so hurt this episode. 😬 Actions have consequences, who knew it would be such a big one...

The flirting in Oblivio led to distracted Kitty who Ladybug was distracted by causing them both to get hit and lose their memories, which led to the kiss, which Alya took a picture of, which ended up all over the internet that was then used to push Ladynoir as Couple of the Year with said picture everywhere, which led Chat Noir thinking he could try his usual flirting distracting ways to sway her, which this time she wasn't going to let Oblivio happen again, so she threw him in the trash can (that she called his basket, kitty in a basket omg) to keep him from distracting her and putting himself in danger to take care of the villain herself. Which... does make him feel he's not as needed, but at the same time I don't blame her for needing to get him out of the fight. He should know better by now that it's really dangerous. Also super curious as to what got Glaciator akumatized at the beginning of this episode.... "What the heart has forgotten, ice cream remembers." Wait. If they got blasted, they wouldn't have remembered what happened in Oblivio... would they? Hmmm. Interesting concept. o.o "Wait, if we kiss, maybe we'll get our memories back?" Yeah okay, I totally see why she'd want to throw him in the trash bin. Not only because he's super distracted, but he knows where she stands on a relationship with him and to keep talking about kissing like that isn't cool. I don't blame him for wanting to keep trying - especially since in these forgotten memories they know they have that they were together to know it's very possible and was being talked about at that moment - but everything about that scene from the situation to the timing of it and what's going on just calls for him to be taken out of the fight at that point. Ladybug's anger at Glaciator because he keeps pushing Ladynoir 😂

XD This Ladynoir scene gives me angry girlfriend vibes. Which... is exactly what she says she doesn't want, but come on. And here we go, a total 180. I went from laughing away to going OUCH POOR KITTY Marinette's sure getting super angry and defensive about everyone talking about Ladynoir as a couple or assuming that they had been one. I get it can be irritating, but this is even worse than when she got all upset when she thought Chat Noir moved on so easily from Ladybug to Marinette. Adrien: Nobody can help me Kagami. Uh huh, we'll see about that. :D But really, he started to cry and had to contain his pain long enough to get out of the car so he could deal with it before going home. x.x Adrien's breaking my heart this episode. As soon as Adrien sat down, I said "This is where the akuma usually comes" expecting it to just cut to another kind of scene, and then it cut to Shadow Moth's lair. Which I wasn't actually expecting to happen! And because I was watching with my sister and said that, I missed Adrien's sobbing the first time. Rewatching it again, I get to hear it, headphones and all. That absolutely BROKE ME. To think I'll be hearing the English dub of it later... ugh. "Immense disappointment doubled in guilt." Which are really awful, but notice he doesn't mention heartbreak? At least our boy's heart wasn't broken and he still had hope deep down! Marinette: I want to pay to remove the billboards of Ladynoir! I love how Marinette walks by whistling and he's just so curious about what she's doing that it took him away from his thoughts. xD Also, I guess it makes sense with everything going on with Adrien at that time, but not once did he stop to consider that the boy she was talking about was him, when she literally just saw him, acted all nervous and jumbled, and gave him a gift she just so "happen" to have to cheer him up. I thought the gift scene was real until the pink bubbles. Then I was like "DANG IT, NOT AGAIN!!" Well, Chat Noir delivering those lines sure showed her up. And showered her how bad they sound. You know, that in this show has been used almost exclusively as the place couples (or unrequited lovers end up hoping for something more) go to? And you both just thought that'd be a good idea for some reason? Oh you adorable dorks. The way Marinette looks at him when she knows he doesn't know it's Ladybug/when he's out of sight is just... girl why. Why do you have to do this to yourself. FRIENDS DON'T LOOK AT FRIENDS THAT WAY. No romance, no superheroes. Let's watch this sci-fi/fantasy type film! *has romance anyway* It always be like that, huh.

Chat looks genuinely sad. Marinette just looks done with everything. xD The facial expressions and body language in this episode are absolute GOLD. I've never stopped to look and laugh at so many in a single episode before. Marinette talks about how saving the world is easier (or ahem, must be easier) than telling someone you love them, you just use the Miraculous Ladybug and what's broken is fixed. Because once you do tell someone you love them, and it doesn't work out and they don't love you back, "The cataclysm is in your heart and Miraculous Ladybug can't fix it." Wow, that's deep. I love how she's opening up to him and explaining how she gets around guys when she likes them. That's good info for him to know later. Chat Noir: "I also like hamsters-" Random theater guy: "And I like to watch movies in silence!" EXCUSE ME DUDE. I'D LIKE TO HEAR THAT CONVERSATION. "Today she threw me in a rubbish bin!" It was purely to keep him under control, he was being a distraction during an attack and a distraction is dangerous. "You're a good Kitty, I know that you will find a solution." As she takes his arm ahhhh. And ooh, see now this makes me curious as to what this means. What's he going to do? Andre, it's okay! You're not wrong, Ladybug and Chat Noir really are meant for each other. She isn't even being romantic with him and they're talking about Ladybug. This is why it's bad to assume! "Thank you for traveling Air Chat Noir. We're hoping to see you again very soon!" Oh? 👀 You're hoping to see Marinette soon huh? Ngl was a bit disappointed that it was a goodbye kiss, but that was the most natural goodbye kiss these two have had so that's really nice. Also interesting how the main akumatization (not when the episode starts, or an almost akumatization) in the episode happens with 5 minutes left in the episode. That's an unusual turn of events. OOPS Ladybug was so peeved at Chat Noir's antics that she didn't give Andre the lucky charm. See, those distractions are dangerous!! "Glad to see you again! Uh, my dear friend that I respect! And for whom I don't feel anything except an honest and uninterested friendship!" "Are you making fun of me?" LOL these lines! But actually, the "glad to see you again!" caught my attention in the way that, well, it sounds like he wasn't expecting to see her again at least for awhile? An akuma just showed up so that's really interesting, she doesn't flake on akumas. Then when you know Hack-San takes place after this and that's a whole other thing and makes so much sense for his behavior in that. x.x Lucky Charm! *actual car crashes down* But wow, she came up with her plan based on memory of something somewhere else in the city. Excuse me. But I'm pretty sure this is not a "Oh yes, we're just friends!" look. Ladybug sees his efforts already. But what's he going to think if he catches you look at him like that one day, hm? Also Kagami: I didn't finish volume 3 of the manga I got the idea from to know if it was a good idea, but I just learned it's risky because you could fall in love with the boy you practiced confessing to. Well. I mean, because of all that, Chat Noir's in a better place, which means Adrien's in a better place and will be changing how he expresses his feelings. And Marinette realized that her method of expressing her feelings is wrong, too. All from a manga. Who knew? 😂 "I thought you gave up on Ladybug." "Marinette opened my eyes! In fact, with her I always play my role of being Chat Noir!" OHHHHHHHHH. That's big right there! He's saying he's really comfortable with and feels like he can be himself with her, and he now knows and acknowledges it! {✔️} Marinette's super important to him and he'll do anything to make her happy. {✔️} He'll always be there to protect Marinette, having shown he'd even sacrifice himself for her. {✔️} He feels the most comfortable when he's around Marinette. Hmmmm. What does that sound like? I wonder.... 🙃 "Maybe if I show Ladybug who I truly am, she'll fall in love with me." She already knows you as Adrien and loves you, so yeah, that'll do it! I wonder if at that point she'd figure it out

who they are by piecing it together. If she's not going to have to find out who Chat is first, that is. Also Plagg is so done with this. I don't blame him, that's got to be beyond frustrating knowing.

Probably my favorite ending card to date. Very simple, but a lot of meaning in this! Ladrien looking at each other, Marichat being back to back (and super close that it looks almost cuddly lol you dorks) while Ladynoir faces each other and Adrienette faces each other, but not really looking into each others eyes. Very interesting! This was an insane episode, so much to observe and take in from it. I also really hurt in this episode because of Adrien's pain, but laughed a crazy amount from it too. It felt very rounded and great, I absolutely loved it! Maybe it was for the best we got this episode right before Ephemeral. To soften the blow that sounds like is coming. Woo, I'm not ready! :D

I'm done with Adrien Salters. I'll give you the reasons why people salt him and explain why some of them are quite stupid, to say the least.

1. Adrien's advice to Marinette about Lila in Chameleon

Fans are saying that he was guilt-tripping Marinette and wanted to look like the good guy with his advice towards Marinette. Even though that's not the case.

If I'm being honest here, what he said wasn't even that bad IF you focus on his pov, which what you're supposed to do when you wanna hold a character accountable.

He told Marinette to just keep letting her lie to a corner because those lies weren't that effective. And don't say it is effective towards everyone because a lie about meeting a manga publisher isn't going to affect Nathaniel's job life in the future. However yes those lies really were effective to Marinette, but you Salters can't expect him to be eavesdropping on what Lila did to Marinette in the bathroom. She threatened her, yes, but does Adrien know that? No! And I assure you, if Adrien ever knew about it, he wouldn't guilt trip Marinette and defend Lila. That's not him.

Oh and I don't know if you guys seem to forget, but he really tried to speak up about it by being really nice at the same time (Cause he was taught to not get into arguments or bad situations).

"Lila, I'm perfectly fine with being friends with you, and I'll gladly help you catch up on your schoolwork, but please don't lie to me like you did with Ladybug. "

"Ladybugs the liar!"

"I'm not judging you Lila, but instead of making friends, you're going to turn everyone against you! You can tell me if something is bothering you, I can help, but you need to be honest with me. "

"Are you trying to be some kind of superhero by lecturing me like Ladybug did? Well thanks, but no thanks!"

There you have it. That entire conversation. Adrien wanted to help but also wanted Lila to be honest and not make lies, however, that didn't work out. So obviously he thought it'd be best if she lied herself to a corner thinking it wouldn't affect anyone personally but herself. Even though the audience, which is us, knows that Lila has affected Marinette personally. But Adrien doesn't know that! So why salt him for that?

2. Him defending Chloe in Malediktator

I'm pretty sure if you don't know, but Chloe is his childhood friend. He only felt bad because his first friend who wasn't much but really appreciated it left to a whole different location. How would you feel if that happened to you? Plus he didn't even know that she always bullied other people. He started knowing that she always was mean to everyone once he was allowed to go to school. But he didn't condone her behavior in any way possible, in fact, he threatened their friendship if she doesn't start acting like a decent human being. But when he found out that she just won't change, he ignored it. And who wouldn't? Because I would. Just constantly being annoying to everyone and when you try doing something about it but they don't actually listen, who wouldn't ignore them? Also, I don't really think Adrien is that friends with Chloe anymore, if you're still stuck on season 2 while we're at season 4, a time when Adrien knows Chloe literally joined Hawkmoth and he is probably against that.. Then this reason for you salting him is invalid.

3. He sexually harasses Ladybug and is obsessed with her

Now, I actually agree with this statement. I hold him accountable for that. He has tried kissing her countless times, got mad at her for a rose, has a whole gallery of photos of Ladybug, flirts with her, and always does physical touch with her. However, there is a reason why he keeps on doing physical touch when clearly Ladybug is not interested (Even though from the audience's pov, that's not the case). He has experienced this kind of behavior. Lila kissed him on the cheek when he is clearly not interested. Chloe is pushy and keeps kissing Adrien when he's clearly not comfortable with her doing that. All of these are examples of sexual harassment. So it would make sense as to why he perpetuates this kind of behavior towards Ladybug. Am I saying this behavior is okay and should be excused for the reason I brought it up? No. There's always a reason for everything, and this time, it's actually valid why Adrien does this. However, we deserve to see Ladybug somewhat be annoyed or talk to someone about his behavior and she eventually talks to Cat noir about it. And since Cat noir listens to Ladybug all the time, he would listen and understand. He has always been that way when Ladybug was stressed, annoyed, or upset about something.

But if I am okay with this reason as to why you salt them, why did I include this reason? Well, some of these people who acknowledge Adrien's behavior as Cat noir and salt him for that reason are the same exact people who love and stan Marinette. I am not one of those people, but if you are reading this post and you're one of them, just know that you're being dumb. Because Marinette has also done crazy, illegal, and wild things just like Cat noir, but do they acknowledge her behavior? No! But they do for Cat noir? That doesn't make sense. You can't just pick and choose which character you wanna hold accountable for. Hold both of them accountable, it's not a game.

Although if you aren't one of these people, and actually hold both accountable, thanks. I personally don't slander or salt either of them cause I'm not into that, but if you guys do that I don't really mind. Glad to have you here tho.

Overall, some of the reasons why some fans dislike or even hate Adrien are really something else and are probably not watching the show anymore or they are but just decide to ignore Adrien's character in the new episodes.

I just feel frustrated with how little they are developing the characters. Because on one hand I do want Chat to know more about the whole Guardian thing and proper communication with Ladybug. But on the other hand, he's so pushy with his feelings and fussy that I don't think he's mature enough. Like yeah I get being mad that Ladybug doesn't tell him big details, but needlessly attacking someone and almost unaliving them is just horrifying. I was about to say petty but no that is concerning. The writers do not make it easy to like either character tbh

In my Creative Writing class, I learned about a thing called Delayed Conceptualization where an outcome takes several episodes or chapters to come to fruition. The plot is prolonged before that outcome surfaces and usually the author thinks it's a good idea. But you know, not always. Case in point: Miraculous Ladybug.

Looking at Season 1, I expected the plotlines to revolve around prolonging Adrien and Marinette's progress as the endgame couple for this show and it did seem bearable for all those episodes. We also come to know about several people who get akumatized and through that we get to see things through their eyes even for a moment (specifically before the trademark Hawkmoth skylight opens). At first I found it bearable and the plot thickened such that it provided more juice to transition to the next season.

I still never questioned nor critiqued the show come Season 2, because the spicy things I liked most there were people being given Miraculouses and Chloe being redeemed bit by bit. It was also a very nice sight to see her fighting alongside Ladybug and the superhero team she formed, then the new villain showing up to level the playing field. It was still bearable.

Season 3 came and I start to have my doubts. Chloe's redemption was blown out the way because apparently she would never improve because Astruc said so. What about all that progress? What even about Lila Rossi? Why won't you let her take the spotlight as the Villain of the Season while Chloe becomes better little by little? And lo and behold, it worsened in Season 4.

Season 4 was literally the worst season and it opened my eyes to a lot that I see in the show being oh so wrong and frustrating. At first it seemed so adorable how Chat Noir would flirt a lot with Ladybug at the first season, but as the show progressed he became more toxic. His adoration for Ladybug became as unhealthy as Marinette's devotion to him as Adrien as it was prolonged, and we hear his lines become even more disturbing. Marinette's no different as apparently she has never gone past that bumbling fool stage in crushing on Adrien. In fact, I think it really has gone worse to the point where she overcomplicates stuff and completely failed to listen closely to Adrien in Glaciator 2 when he told her the pottery wheel was pretty. Why couldn't she have just seen what Kagami did as she flirted with Adrien her own way and got him to date her? It was really unhealthy that Marinette only knew being jealous of girls who interact with Adrien in a flirty way than actually learning from them how she can be confident enough to do so.

Imo the love square development was delayed by making Marinette and Adrien progressively unhealthy in the series, and it's so problematic because not only are we seeing that they have barely even improved at all from the first episode, but we also see more problematic and triggering shit that came with this couple dynamic. It's like everything in the plot is hinged on Adrien and Marinette automatically being a couple by the reveal without needing to improve their attitudes. They can't exactly be a healthy couple if they're both unhealthy in terms of personality. It would have been better if the show built up on improving their personality even more in relation to the other instead of shoving Marinette's comic relief in our faces and saying "She's tripping! Laugh! It's funny!" No sirs and ma'ams, not anymore. It's just sad. And portraying Adrien as oblivious and a sad sack for the rest of the show makes it even sadder. It's also comic relief for us fans but at this point I doubt it's even funny the way things are now in Season 4.

Also, don't even get me started on the perspectives of the show. Majority of it was Marinette's and Adrien's and the rest of the characters were just put to the side. Season 4 could've been a good place to start building on those other characters, and Season 3 better to build up Lila as a villain and improving Chloe, because God forbid Marinette might not stand it if she's facing two bitches in her class. Chloe would've been a great person to help her be more assertive with someone like Lila and someone who would also believe Marinette when told about Lila's lies. Chloe was indeed lied to by Lila at some point (y'know, the Ladybug call) so she would have reasons to side with Marinette. Instead, Chloe's become an even more pathetic bitch and Lila was sidelined, just like the other characters whom I think would be as equally interesting as Mari and Adrien.

The show turned into such a flop and it deserves to be on hiatus, because clearly the writers need to think further about how to redeem themselves through Season 5.

Holy shit this got away from me.

 The day it changes is the day she finds out Adrien is Chat Noir. 

 It’s nothing… to personal.

 Okay it is but isn’t.

 Adrien to her was this kind and sweet boy with a good heart who was just a bit bad at expressing his feelings or his thoughts. 

 And he was that. He was. It was just…

 Chat Noir. 

 Chat Noir was a flirt who wouldn’t take no for an answer and treated the whole thing as a game. And it wasn’t a game! It was serious! It was really serious and he just acted like it was one big joke!

 She hated him in a way. But also loved him dearly. He was her partner, her best friend.

 Her soulmate she found but she didn’t want him. Not anymore.

 She perhaps could have put up with it. If he hadn’t been getting worse. But he had. He had and it hurt and maybe it was silly to just give up. They were teenagers. Teenagers do stupid stuff all the time. There was a reason people were highly discouraged from dating their soulmates as teens. It just put things completely out of whack. 

 Chat could change. He was a sheltered kid who was free now. But… it wasn’t enough to know that for Marinette.

 Her soulmark was on the back of her neck. Music notes in green- his favourite music piece she knew because she had heard him talking about it.

 On his arm was a red needle and thread.

 Alya thought it perfect but agreed to her wish to be friends and get to know him first before they started dating. Her parents had done it. Her mama had noticed her favourite flowers on her papa and knew the rolling pin on her back was for him. But she’d waited.

 “Love takes time and soulmates take time.” Her mom has told her. “I had one before this but we rushed to much and we were to… different. Our marks Changed.”

 Changed marks. When you learned something about your soulmate or when you and your soulmate just didn’t click enough for your souls to settle into one another. Changed marks happened about eight times a year and they always made news. It was shocking.

 There were rules about Changed marks, and Marinette followed them when she checked her neck and found a bright yellow and red robin on her neck.

 She went and reported it to the local branch involved in soulmate hunting and when asked why she explained she discovered her soulmate wasn’t like she thought and she couldn’t deal with it. They said she was young and she agreed.

 “But what he does… I can’t do it. I can’t deal with that.” She told them. They accepted and didn’t ask.

 Of course someone leaked it to the news and everyone knew there was a case of a Changed mark going around in Paris. A teenager with a Changed mark.

 Marinette wore her hair up, exposing her neck and waited. People gave her double looks. Legally she had to expose it so people would now know not to speak about it to her soulmate. 

 Alya stared at her with wide eyes and looked at Adrien, a dark look passing over her face. Marinette shook her head.

 Of course they all cornered her, even Adrien though he wasn’t sure why, and asked.

 “Your mark Changed girl! Why?” Alya asked and Adrien gasped. Marientte sighed, as the others eyed him. He didn’t know.

 “I found out I was friends with him online and he had a crush on me. I told him no because I had a crush on someone else, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. He wouldn’t leave me alone about it and didn’t take anything seriously. There are other reasons but when someone says no, and means it? You have to take it and back off. It’s not cute or funny. I got upset and told him off and he laughed at it. He laughed at my anger. I told him no and he said we were soulmates and I was just playing hard to get. I mean we were soulmates yes. But it doesn’t mean I have to say yes.” Alya looked pissed but Marientte shook her head. “I’d known who he was for a while. My soulmate I mean. I just wanted to get to know him first before telling him. My mama’s mark Changed to and she always told me to take a step back and make sure we were good friends. Not just think soulmate means yes. He’s a nice guy but I think he needs a reality check and to get some actual advice. His parents aren’t the greatest.”

 They backed off, and Adrien was still confused she could tell even as Nino made him read a bunch of sexual harassment notes and watch a seminar. 

 He still didn’t get it and she wondered about his father after that.

 But her mind was pulled away, towards the Teen Titans who came to Paris and had heart attacks. Apparently the French government had been playing the Akuma crisis off as a prank, and learning it wasn’t…

 Marinette wasn’t sure what extactly was happening but she knew a lot of politicans were losing their jobs and going to jail. Which… good. 

 However it opened the door for more heroes to come to Paris- which was a good thing. Marinette could breath, getting advice and help. She loved it all. Chat didn’t but that was because he got a few scoldings for not taking things seriously. His mullish ‘everything gets fixed’ answer was shot down by Batman.

 “What if your action kills Ladybug and you can’t use any of the other Miraculous to reset time?” And he had gone very quiet. 

 Spending time with other heroes felt amazing. She spent a lot of time with the Teen Titants, in particular Robin who laughed and joked with her. They traded quiet cackles over things and bonded being leaders. 

 It was with their help they beat Hawkmoth. After which, Marinette confronted Adrien. He took one look at her and something clicked, his face going pale.

 “No.”

 “Yes.” she told him. He looked heartbroken and she’d given him a pained smile. “Your makr with Change to you know.”

 “I don’t want it to.” he breathed. She shrugged. 

 “Sorry.” with that she left. She took the Miraculous Box and left Paris, unable to stay. Unable to stay and look around see where she had been hurt. Where chaos had reigned. Where she had beaten Hawkmoth. Where Hawkmoth, in his final act had murdered her parents.

 With a missile. She couldn’t bring them back. 

 Gabriel Agreste was going to prison for a very long time and Marinette was darkly pleased. 

 He deserved it.

 Marinette left Paris without a backwards glance and no plans to contact anyone. Lila had destroyed her bonds with the class and Adrien was leaving to. And she wasn’t sure he would want to stay in contact with her after this.

 Marinette headed to Gotham where she was accepted by Batman- or Bruce Wayne- and his family. She had a room for the Miraculous Box and Kwamis, she went to a fashion school.

 She had Dick. Dick who was Robin and kind and sweet. Who tried to hide the ladybug on his shoulder but she smiled to herself.

 She wasn’t ready. She wanted friends first.

 But one day...

The familiar silence surrounds Adrien as he sits in his room staring at particularly nothing. Although he tries to deny it, the young model feels extremely conflicted. A part of him swears he will never be able to love someone as much as he loves his partner, ladybug. But another part claims he is indeed capable of it.

After his break up with Kagami, and his reaction to his conversation with Marinette, Adrien can't help but wonder if maybe it's been her all along. He can't help but wonder if his love for lady bug has only ever been a fascination.

He fell in love with his partner because of her kind heart, she was brave and strong, stood up for everyone and not once did she let anyone tell her what to do. Ladybug was independent and strong willed, but above all she was kind.

Marinette on the other hand, she was clumsy and shy. He could never talk to her without watching her fall and stutter. Although they were both kind, they were the complete opposite.

There were times though where Marinette simply surprised him. She stood up for her friends and always tried to do the best for them, even if she got hurt in the end.

So Adrien wondered, who did he love? Marinette had always been nothing more than a friend, but he knew her, he really knew her. Ladybug had always been the girl to hold his heart, but he knew nothing of her, absolutely nothing.

Perhaps his love for ladybug would never be more than it is now, a one sided love. But what if it became more? That question stopped Adrien from going after Marinette every time. He knew there was a possibility that someday she'd like him.

"Adrien?" Plagg exclaimed for the 5th time and waved his arms around in front of Adrien's face. "Hello? Is anyone there?" He asked as he knocked quite roughly on Adrien's head.

"Stop it Plagg!" Adrien said before turning his head towards his kwami, "what do you want?" The blonde asked.

"I want cheese!" Plagg laughed and watched as his holder let out a groan, "you also have that thing with your friends..." he spoke casually, "maybe you don't wanna go" he added with a shrug.

Adrien's eyes widened before he sprang put the door, dragging his black kwami with him. "Wait...no...my cheese!"

"Shut up Plagg, I'll ask Marinette for some cheese balls when we get there"

"Yes!"Plagg grinned, "god I love that girl!"

"Adrien!" Nino yelled as soon as he walked in though the bakery's door. "Adrien's here guys!"

"Hey Nino" Adrien laughed before patting his back. "Where's everyone?" The model asked.

"They're in Marinette's room" Nino snickered, Adrien saw Marinette's parents and quickly greeted them before turning to his best friend.

"Is Marinette there too?" Adrien asked as subtly as he could. His question, however, didn't go unnoticed.

"Yeah she's there too...playing Cupid" Nino smirked as he saw Adrien frown.

"What do you mean?" Adrien quickly asked.

"Lets just say a certain musician is here" Nino chuckled, his whole demeanor was playful yet Adrien wasn't having fun, nor was he enjoying it.

"Luka's here?" He asked through gritted teeth. "And Marinette's with him?"

"Yes dude!" Nino smiled and opened the trapdoor that led to Marinette's room.

"Nino! What do you think about this for the lady blog?" Alya immediately asked as she set her eyes on her boyfriend and dragged him away.

"Hey Adrien!" Marinette smiled as the model approached her. "How are you?" She asked.

"I'm good Mari" Adrien said with a smile before he wrapped his arms around the bluenette surprising her. "I missed you" he whispered.

Marinette blushed a deep shade of red before she grinned and met out a giggle. "I missed you too silly...is everything okay?"

"Everything's perfect" he winked. The aspiring designer turned her whole body around and leaned back on Adrien. Surprised, Adrien kept his arms around Marinette and watched as everyone talked and laughed amongst themselves.

"I introduced Luka to Chloe" Marinette giggled before nodding her head towards the blushing couple. "They'd make a fine couple don't you think?"

Adrien's eyes widened as he took in the sight of his friend's and their flirting, he had really thought Luka would be making a move on Marinette. It had gotten his blood boiling and his stomach churning. But now he understood he had no reason to be jealous.

"I thought you liked Luka" Adrien said with a questioning tone.

In his arms, Marinette let put a sigh as she looked sadly down at the floor. "I tried...but I just couldn't. He's a great person...but he deserves better than me"

"You deserve the world Marinette" Adrien whispered in her ear causing her to blush and giggle. "Do you want to go get some ice cream?"

"I'd love too" Marinette smiled, she took a step forward and took Adrien's arms off her, instantly missing their warmth. "Hey Alya! Adrien and I are going to get some ice cream, do you wanna come?"

"No girl, go with lover boy" Alya laughed at her best friend's expression.

"For traveling China" Marinette smiled at the model. "But if you asked me where I'd rather live then my answer would be right here"

"You want to stay in Paris?" Adrien asked with raised eyebrows. Marinette giggled at his expression before nodding her head with a soft smile.

"I love Paris, all my memories are here...along with my friends and family. I wouldn't change that for the world" she explained. "What about you?"

"Well...I've always wanted to get out of here. But it's not really Paris that I'd be running away from...but my dad."

"Listen Adrien I don't know what it's like living with him, with all the responsibilities and the pressure...but I do know that I'll try my best to understand it, to understand you. So if you ever need someone to talk to, just know I'm here"

"Thank you Mari" Adrien whispered as his eyes got teary, he reached out and took her hands in his before leaning his forehead against hers. "That-you mean everything to me"

"And you do to me" she whispered back and wiped a tear off Adrien's cheek.

The two of them were too engrossed in each other that they didn't notice two sets of eyes watching them. One belonged to Andre who watched them with an easy smile, while the other belonged to Lila, a girl who loved Adrien and hated Marinette.

"Oh Adrien!" Lila giggled interrupting their moment. Adrien let out a sigh and rolled his eyes making Marinette bite her lip to stifle her laughter.

"What Lila?" The blonde asked before letting put a scoff.

"I heard about Kagami, I'm so sorry baby, if you ever need anyone just know I'm here" Lila winked as she dragged her long nails up Adrien's arm.

"I'm fine thank you" Adrien said.

"I know you're lonely Adrien-"

"I'm not lonely" he interrupted her.

"You don't have to deny it...it's okay to be lonely and I'm here-" Lila abruptly stopped as Adrien turned his head and smashed his lips on Marinette's.

The Disturbing Dark Truth about Cat Noir (Theory).

Hello my name is well it doesn't matter what my name is but what matters is this dark disturbing truth behind our favorite kitten, Cat Noir and what is he really behind all the jokes/puns/flirt but mostly what person inspired Thomas Astruc to create Cat Noir.

Cat Noir is actually inspired by a little boy Thomas Astruc knew since childhood. His name is Anthony Cheung-Fernández, son of Wang Lei-Zhang Wei Huáng-Cheung, a Chinese American biker gang member and Catalina-Juana "CJ" Luciana Fernández-Hernández, an underage Mexican-Latina prostitute/stripper but i'm not gonna get into his childhood even despite he's an inspiration for Cat Noir. Behind his jokes , puns and flirtatious motivations, I think it's possible Cat Noir is an abused mentally unstable boy with special needs and so we only see the imagined world and events through his eyes because he's coping with the harsh and cruel reality of the world he's born into.

Cat Noir is a crack baby because his mom smoked all lot of crack cocaine while she was carrying him in her womb and it causes Cat Noir mental and psychological damage for life but he even has tremors from arms and legs to whole body because he's so severely damaged by crack cocaine and since he's severely uncontrolled shaky, you might mistaken Cat Noir's uncontrollable tremors for being cold and having seizures but often he has high-pitched screaming and high-pitched crying which he's often mistakenly thought to be a girl by others and his instabilities are also the results of being a crack baby.

What Cat Noir's classmates didn't know, is the frequent abuse and neglect Cat Noir has endured and suffered at home. Cat Noir is a special needs child who suffer from abuse , neglect and bullying but this traumatic experiences has left poor Cat Noir traumatized , easily scared , shy , nervous , easily startled , shaking-in-fear and easily fearful or easily frightened of others. A bunch of mean kids and bullies would called Cat Noir "stupid" , "dummy" , "idiot" , "retard" , "dumbass" and "dimwitted" since they knew Cat Noir has Autism , Down Syndrome , Mental Retardation and Hydrocephalus, they believe he's too stupid to be in school and having low-intelligence means he can't learn.

Due to Cat Noir having Autism and Down Syndrome it can be hard for him to keep up with other kids because he learns things slowly than others and it's no wonder he's put into a Special Education classes. Cat Noir was born with Down Syndrome due to his younger mother's age and older father's age but some children with Down syndrome (like Cat Noir) are born to women under age 35 because younger women have far more babies.

But if we only see the imagined world and events through his eyes wouldn't that means it's nothing but Cat Noir's imaginations we only saw on the show but if that's the case then how come we don't see the reality outside of his eyes, could it be that outside of his eyes, it's full of neglect , abuse , torture , lies , bullying and harassment that he turned to his imaginations , puns and jokes as a coping mechanism to escape from it. So we're gonna analyzed his relationship with other people and compared to the canon relationship he supposedly has.

Ladybug.

She is a friend of Cat Noir but also the closes he has but is she really a good friend to Cat Noir? In the show, Ladybug is shown to be verbally abusive and physically abusive towards Cat Noir in almost various episodes from Bubbler , Origins Part 1 , Stormy Weather and Sliencer, she uses her yoyo to hit Cat Noir with but surprisingly she never regretted but kept on doing it. Ladybug knew about Cat Noir's condition but instead of sympathizing with him and supporting/getting him help, she chose to convinced him his imaginations is real and everything he believes is reality but that's reason why Cat Noir depicted Ladybug as a stubborn , easily annoyed and bad-tempered person who's so quickly to get angry but this is the tip of the iceberg because Ladybug is not just verbally abusive and physically abusive, she's also sexually abusive towards Cat Noir. Ladybug would take advantage of Cat Noir by raping him but she usually would forced herself on Cat Noir and grabbed his penis and put it into her vagina even though despite Cat Noir not being ready for a proportional relationship, she's willing to do whatever she wants with him even if it means it the cost of their friendship, it also explains why Ladybug flirts with Cat Noir because Cat Noir knew about Ladybug being sexually abusive and sexually active. Ladybug has been doing this since the age of 12 while Cat Noir was 11 but ever since then she's been doing sexual activities with Cat Noir due to her seeing Cat Noir as a sex toy to play and have "fun" with, due it's no wonder throughout the series Cat Noir is never started dating because of the history of being sexually abused. Ladybug has Black hair with Blue reflections and Baby blue eyes but has a slim body, her middle name is Marietta although is a similar name to Cat Noir's elder half sister, Marietta "Marie" Kyle.

Marinette.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a teenage Eurasian girl who is close friends with Cat Noir, she's 2 months older than Cat Noir (Marinette was born on July 22, 2001 and Cat Noir was born on September 25, 2001) and she's been mistaken for Ladybug and Marietta by Cat Noir because she looks like them.

Marinette has 2 older half sisters, Bridgette Cheng and Charlotte Dupain, who were born from their parents 1st marriage which it makes Marinette born from 2nd marriage. Her parents are Tom Dupain, an Italian-French baker who love his Bakery and his daughters including his stepdaughter and Sabine Cheng, a Chinese immigrant who moved from China to Paris with her daughter to give her a better life and loves her daughters including her stepdaughter.

Marinette has a mixture of Black and Blue hair with Bluebell eyes but she's always mistaken to be Ladybug or Marietta by Cat Noir very often because to Cat Noir, Ladybug and Marinette looked the same but also it's due to how Marinette and Marietta look very similar because of their names and hair colors.

Much like Cat Noir, Marinette has been bullied by Chloé Bourgeois, one of the most popular girls in Françoise Dupont High School but unlike Cat Noir, Marinette had been bullied by Chloé since Kindergarten. Although due to being bullied at school, Marinette became insecure about herself and is scared of Chloé since then.

Marinette has ADHD , Dyslexia , Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia or "Clumsy Child Syndrome" which it explains about her clumsiness and reading difficulties but she's not alone as Cat Noir had learning disabilities himself so he knew how Marinette feels when it comes to being different from other kids. When Marinette said "But all the teachers say I don't sound natural when I read" meaning all teachers are aware of Marinette's reading difficulty and Cat Noir did a good job of depicting Marinette as a "clumsy girl with reading problems" since he knew her so too well. Despite Marinette being clumsy in front of Cat Noir, he's still doesn't understand her condition even tho he has learned about it before.

Marinette does have a close bond with Cat Noir as they're best friends and their friendship is stronger but they can very protective of each other at times because for Marinette, she knew Cat Noir has Autism and is very vulnerable to getting hurt easily and getting attacked by bullies and mean kids but for Cat Noir, it's due to his feline instincts of being protective of their owners, since Marinette is the closest to an "owner" Cat Noir actually has.

Marinette have sleepover with her friends and Cat Noir but mostly it's with Cat Noir because he's the only boy who's interested in girl stuff like makeups , dresses and skirts.

Marinette is aware of Cat Noir's instabilities and knows he's not given any help but she's able to give Cat Noir support. Marinette knew Cat Noir has long-term tremors since he's a crack baby and knows he has a hard time controlling his body movement. Marinette does frequently often visits Cat Noir in Mrs. Caroline's Class, a Special Education Class where Cat Noir goes in because of his learning disabilities and it was thought that because of Marinette's reading and learning disability, she would be in Mrs. Caroline's Special Ed class but instead she's currently in Mrs. Bustier's class.

Chloé Bourgeois.

Chloé is the most popular girl in Françoise Dupont High School and is the head cheer captain of a cheerleading squad.

She is the daughter of the Mayor of Paris and Queen of Fashion magazines and owner of a fashion company. Chloé is spoiled rotten by her father and verbally and emotionally abused by her mother.

Chloé knew Cat Noir before preschool and it was when his mother worked as a maid for The Bourgeois family but unfortunately she saw Cat Noir's mom sleeping with her father and Audrey was so angry at Cat Noir's mother that she wanted her fired but however André kept her on. Due to this it causes Chloé to take her anger and frustration out on Cat Noir by bullying him for being the "son of a hooker" but most importantly it explains why in fanfiction stories, Chloé mistreated Cat Noir. Chloé has always bullied and making fun of Cat Noir for coming from a very poor family , living in a shack to living in a 1960s motorhome , wearing baggy outfits , not being as rich as her , not being as popular as her , not being as smart as her , being dirty , being weak , being a mama's boy , not being muscular like other boys and not having masculinity like other boys. But however Chloé can go too far whenever she bullies Cat Noir, like she's been beaten him up causing Cat Noir's injuries to be more visible and bleeding.

His mother.

Cat Noir's mother is Selina Kyle, an alcoholic , drug addict and smoker young mother who gave birth to 8 children from 7 different fathers. She became a mother at a young age and she's an mentally unstable person who barely could take care of her children. She went from having multiple boyfriends to having multiple girlfriends. All of her children look more like their fathers than their mother. She bears a passion hatred towards man because she was physically abused by her father when she was a child. Her mother committed suicide when she was little and since she's the only one who looks like her mother, it's no wonder her father abuses her physically.

She had Cat Noir at 17 from a father she hardly knew and the baby daddy was 38 when Cat Noir was born. Since the baby daddy was arrested for supposedly "gang raping a minor", not only he'll never meet his baby but she'll have to raised Cat Noir on her own. She was so unstable both mentally and physically, she abused and neglected Cat Noir often 24/7 but she did leave him in a neglected state. She left her children in the care of her boyfriend but her boyfriend wanted nothing to do with Cat Noir and so as a result, he locked Cat Noir in the room for an hour or days or even a month/years whenever he has to deal with Cat Noir.

Selina abuse drugs and alcohol when she was a kid but due to this, the drugs completely fried her brain and gave her permanent brain damage but the alcohol cause her brain damage to worsen, she had memory loss. Thanks to the drugs it caused her to be unstable both mentally and physically, she went to a rehabilitation facilities for drug addicts and alcoholics like herself but she went from going to rehab often to now staying there until she's drug-free and alcohol-free because of her history of drug usage and overdosing on them but surprisingly surviving it, due to this she became absent in not only her kids but Cat Noir's life as well and she also became very sickly , extremely tired , supposedly weight gaining and severely skinny.

Rose Lavillant.

Rose Lavillant is one of Marinette's closest friends and the most nicest person Cat Noir has ever met. Rose is lead singer of a rock band, Kitty Section and Kitty Section band is a hybrid of a cat and unicorn but Cat Noir likes to call Kitty Section "Unikitty" since it is a combination after all. Rose loves unicorns which it's why Cat Noir sees her as a playmate and is depicted as sweet , kind and playful according to Cat Noir at least. Princess Twinkle Peach is Rose's favorite plush unicorn although Cat Noir finds Princess Twinkle Peach interesting because of her designs but again with his schizophrenic condition, he thought Princess Twinkle Peach can talk to him and move on her own.

She likes to sit on a soft pink cushion seat so it smoothed Cat Noir.

Lila Rossi.

Lila is the most popular girl in Françoise Dupont High School, she's from Italy and back in Italy, she used to bully a girl for no reasons. Lila is the biggest slut in school.

When Lila was at school in Italy, she used to sleep with popular guys for popularity. Lila most likely slept with Cat Noir because she knew he's the most vulnerable child and would get easily taken advantage of but Lila always raped Cat Noir which it causes her exposure in the first place and she barely took advantage of Cat Noir.

Much like Cat Noir, Lila grew up without a father in her life and is only raised by her mother but unlike Cat Noir, Lila lies about her home life , parents , why she's not in school , why she had bad grades , where she's at , why she's late , why she's failing and why she's tired.

Last but not least Cat Noir (even though he doesn't count as a relationship).

Cat Noir was born premature and as an accident on September 25, 2001 to an underage prostitute and a grown biker gang member. When he was born, he was in a incubator in the NICU room. He was an unexpected , unplanned and unwanted child because he has his dad's looks such as blonde hair , green eyes and orange-tinted skin.

Cat Noir has Autism , Mental Retardation , Severe Schizophrenia , Down Syndrome , Bilateral Complete Cleft Lip and Palate , Congenital Heart Defect , Fetal Alcohol Syndrome , Alcohol-Related Birth Defect and Hydrocephalus but he has 3 types of Autism, Low-functioning Autism , Asperger's Syndrome and Severe Autism or Level 3 Autism. Due to his condition, he even has a learning disability as a result from his Autism , Down Syndrome , Mental Retardation and Hydrocephalus. Cat Noir even has a stunted growth as a result of his mom's alcoholism and it's no wonder he's short and looks younger for his age.

Cat Noir comes from a very poor family and lives from a shack to a 1960s motorhome. He's the 7th child of 8 children and each of Cat Noir's siblings have different fathers but they all have the same mother, Cat Noir is the oldest male in the household full of girls but his mom only wanted daughters so by the time Cat Noir was born, she's disappointed her baby is male and blamed the father for giving her a son instead of a daughter.

Cat Noir's mother was only 17 years old when she gave birth to Cat Noir although he was brought into the world irresponsibly by his mother because of her drug addictions and results due to 5 times of broken condoms. Cat Noir was raised by his absent on-and-off again mother and his mom often neglected Cat Noir 24/7 but she left him in a care of someone else except they neglected and abused Cat Noir too because he resembled his mother.

Cat Noir was often abused and neglected by his babysitters and other caretakers. What's even more messed up is the fact that he's a special needs child since he's autistic and have down syndrome but one of his babysitters would leave him in filth and one of his caretakers would beat him if he make noises.

Cat Noir transfer to Françoise Dupont High School at age 11+1/2 years old when he was in the 7th grade due to frequent bullying , abuse and neglect at a previous school, he's in a special ed class. The first person he met was Marinette Dupain-Cheng who was 12 years old at the time and since then he became inseparable towards Marinette due to her kindness , good nature , sweet tendencies and being nice to him.

Cat Noir sees Marinette as a mother figure and often calls her "mommy" but he likes to cuddle with Marinette and rub his face on Marinette to his affection towards her. Marinette knows Cat Noir has Autism and Down Syndrome thus she's patient and gentle with Cat Noir. Marinette taught Cat Noir how to walk and talk at 13 years old despite what everyone told her she can't teach Cat Noir speech.

Cat Noir has a developmental delay and due to this, he can't meet his milestones like dressing up on his own , feeding himself , cleaning himself , tying his own shoelaces , brushing his hair , brushing his teeth , taking a bath on his own and toilet training.

The before and after Aftermath of abuse and neglect.

Cat Noir was placed in the care of his mother's boyfriend but sadly he was further abused by his mom's boyfriend and neglected by him, he was even locked in his room 24/7, due to this isolation and neglect, Cat Noir's only companion was his stuff animals and his schizophrenic state is worsen but he believes his stuff animals could talk to him and move by themselves but it however freaks out other people because "what kind of kid believes his stuffed animals would talk and moving on its own" but he supposedly is always talking gibberish to "someone" else when actually he's talking to himself.

Cat Noir was born premature and as an accident due to a broken condom. He has Autism , Mental Retardation , Severe Schizophrenia , Down Syndrome , Bilateral Complete Cleft Lip and Palate , Congenital Heart Defect , Fetal Alcohol Syndrome , Alcohol-Related Birth Defect and Hydrocephalus but his Severe Schizophrenia , Bilateral Complete Cleft Lip and Palate , Congenital Heart Defect , Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Alcohol-Related Birth Defect. His Autism , Mental Retardation and Down Syndrome were due to his mom's age being 17 and his dad's age being 38 but most importantly he has Hydrocephalus because of unknown reasons but what if it's actually due to his older father and young mother then it makes sense.

Does Lila really hate Ladybug for embarrassing her in front of the boy she liked or Is it actually in the mind of Cat Noir thinking that's what it is?

Ever wondered why Lila hated Ladybug with a passion, you may think it's because of Ladybug embarrassing Lila in front of Adrien but it's actually not true in fact it's nothing but in Cat Noir's mind, Cat Noir thinks this is why Lila hated Ladybug but in reality it's because Ladybug exposing Lila on how much of a skank oh she is because that bitch sleeps with every guy at school for popularity but however Cat Noir was unaware of Lila being a slut. In Volpina, Lila lies to Adrien about being a descendant of a fox-themed heroine, Volpina but after Ladybug humiliates her in front of Adrien Agreste by exposing her lies about the both of them being close friends and her owning the Fox Miraculous, she hated Ladybug ever since then, however this is not what happened, what actually happen in Volpina is Lila slept with Cat Noir for fame and popularity even despite Cat Noir being the school's outcast and misfit but it didn't matter to her she can sleep with any guy at school. Not only did Lila slept with Cat Noir but she also raped him, Lila knew Cat Noir has a history of being sexually assaulted and is the most vulnerable child but sadly she kept on touching him inappropriately. Ladybug later saw Lila taking advantage of Cat Noir and exposes her as "a bitch who sleeps with every special needs guy at school for personal game , stardom and being well-liked or well-known" since then everyone at school knew Lila is a hoe and loves to sleep with guys with special needs at school for stardom and popularity so that day she hated Ladybug since then.

Is Marinette a normal girl or did Cat Noir sees her as one?

In the theme song it said "In the daytime, I'm Marinette, Just a normal girl with a normal life. But there's something about me that no one knows yet, Cause I have a secret." You heard it "just a normal girl" now the question Is Marinette really normal? Cat Noir depicted Marinette as a shy and clumsy girl who's nice to everyone but Cat Noir knew Marinette doesn't sound natural when she reads so in reality it's due to her Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.

Why does Cat Noir wear a mask?

Cat Noir is known to wear a mask but ever wondered why he wore a mask?, you would think it's because he's hiding his secret identity from others but I think it's because he's hiding a large burn scar on the left side of his face because his mom accidentally spills hot boiling water onto the left side of Cat Noir's face causing the scar to be badly burned and permanent when Cat Noir was younger, as a result of this incident, Cat Noir wore his famous iconic mask to covered the burn scar.

From aftermath of abuse and neglect to foster care.

Since before the age of 13, Cat Noir was frequently abused and neglected by his mother's on-and-off again ex-boyfriend who beats Cat Noir 24/7 whenever he has to deal with Cat Noir and never likes to care of/babysat Cat Noir whenever Cat Noir's mom goes out for work , with one of her multiple boyfriends , to a bar , to the movies with her friends , shopping and going to jail for crimes but most importantly she's currently in a rehabilitation center so this means her ex-boyfriend has to take care of Cat Noir fulltime but he doesn't want to so he locked Cat Noir in his room 24/7 so didn't want to deal with Cat Noir. Everyone started noticing different about Cat Noir, he was severely malnourished , has bruised fingers , bruised toes , black-eye , broken nose , bruised lips , badly bitten arms , badly bitten legs , swollen arms , swollen legs , swollen gums , badly bitten ears , badly bitten fingers , badly bitten toes , knocked-out teeth , scraped knees , scraped elbows , slapped cheeks , bruised bottom and bruised-up back but worse of all, Cat Noir even had a bruised forehead and the fact Cat Noir is a special needs child, is still shocking.

Not long after Cat Noir turns 13 years old, the abuse and neglect became far more worst until one of the school's Child Psychologists took notice of Cat Noir's wounds and find out he's been frequently terribly abused and neglected by his mom's on-and-off again ex-boyfriend since the age of 8. The Child Psychologists decide to contacted the polices and social services to come and take Cat Noir away from the home. Cat Noir was taken to hospital and one of doctors found out Cat Noir is actually 13 with the body of an 11-year-old child but they even find out Cat Noir has a small severely damaged brain.

Cat Noir's Severe Schizophrenia is already worsen up due to again being a crack baby. He believes his imaginations are a reality because of how much he's been convinced too often. Cat Noir hear voices in his head and see things that aren't there but he often talks to himself despite thinking he's talking someone else.

After Cat Noir's mom's ex-boyfriend was arrested for child abuse and child neglect, Cat Noir was placed in Child's Care Services (CCS) because his mother is too unstable to care for him but however Cat Noir is badly affected by the abuse and neglect he suffers for so long that he didn't want to be touched and he has a shock look on his face whenever he break things he didn't mean to which it explains why in the episode, Simon Says, Cat Noir gave a shock look after scolding at Gabriel because in reality he thought he's going to get beaten. Originally Cat Noir was gonna be placed in one of his relative's house but his social worker didn't know how to get in contact with them and he was originally going to be placed in the care of his dad but no one knows where he's currently lives and he has permanent record so he can't be around kids not even his own child.

Cat Noir's social worker decide to put Cat Noir into foster care since there's no one who can take him in. Cat Noir's 1st foster home was bad because his foster parents frequently abused and neglected him but bad enough, the only reason why they take Cat Noir in because they're only doing this for money so they can spend it on and rottenly spoiled their biological kids. His foster mom did the worst things to Cat Noir, such as locking him in his room , refusing Cat Noir to have any contact with anyone and her biological children , refusing to feed Cat Noir , refusing to clothed Cat Noir , leaving Cat Noir in a filthy state , strapping Cat Noir to a potty chair in the daytime , putting Cat Noir into a straitjacket and locking him in a cage-like crib in the daytime and letting her kids bullied Cat Noir 24/7. One day his social worker notice Cat Noir in a terrible state and deciding removed Cat Noir from this terrible house.

From Second foster home to 11th foster home.

Cat Noir had to be moved from foster home to another foster home due frequent abuse and neglect happening but it's like to Cat Noir, no matter where he goes he'll always get abused and neglected. His second and 11th foster home was so bad that he had to be removed again and be placed in a new home but he's always getting bruises all over him as if his previous foster parents don't care about him and only seems to be interested in financials than caring for their foster child. But however it did take 2 weeks for the social workers to placed Cat Noir in a new home and it's always gonna turned bad, no matter what home Cat Noir was placed in and good thing the social workers decide to removed Cat Noir from a terrible home.

12th and Final foster home.

Not long after Cat Noir was removed from his 11th foster home, his social worker almost decide to give up trying to find a good place for Cat Noir to call home and a family to belong to but one of the employees told Cat Noir's social worker that there's one more chance of finding a good home for Cat Noir. Cat Noir's social worker found a home to placed Cat Noir in, The Jackson Family, they have a stable home , love , affection , enough food and care but most importantly at least it's safe place for Cat Noir to call home. He was so malnourished that he became hungry often despite he just ate.

Adoption

Not long after months of Cat Noir being placed in the care of The Jackson family, Christine Jackson, Cat Noir's foster mom decide to adopted Cat Noir and her husband, Harold Jackson, Cat Noir's foster dad agreed to this since they are parental figures to Cat Noir but at first when Cat Noir was placed in their care it was difficult for them to care for a child with special needs but they didn't give up on him and kept providing love and affection towards Cat Noir. Cat Noir was 13 when he was placed in the care of Christine Jackson and Harold Jackson but at first Christine thought Cat Noir was 11, only to find out he's actually 13 and this causes her to take Cat Noir to the hospital but that's when she find out everything about Cat Noir. 3 months later, Christine and Harold officially adopted 13-year-old Cat Noir but they continue to take care of him.

Marinette sunk down against the wall, holding her, now broken, wrist. Tears were streaming down her face as she held in a sob.

“Stop bullying Lila, you filthy bitch! God, why was I ever friends with you,” Alya whisper-yelled at her. They were in an empty classroom after school ended and nobody was around. Still, Alya took care to be quiet. Lila was standing behind her, complete with fake tear tracks and a massive smirk.

As Alya slapped her again, leaving her cheek red, Lila continued to fake sob about how she “couldn’t believe Marinette would act like this” and how she “makes it so hard to forgive her”.

“It’s fine, Lila. She deserves this. You are a much better person,” Alya said, and they walked away together. Alya continued spewing out encouragement and praise until Marinette couldn’t hear them anymore. She finally let out her sobs but quickly wiped her eyes. She had to be home soon, before her shift at the bakery started.

She got up, cradling her wrist, and put up her hood to cover her red face and puffy eyes. Marinette had changed what she wore after the first time they left visible bruises. Now, she wore a black hoodie over a pink shirt, with grey pants, and kept her signature purse (I never liked writing clothes so just imagine them). She made them, and she signed everything with her signature: MAT. She had made a fashion brand online after Jagged Stone had asked for more pieces, and soon Clara Nightingale had asked for a few too. Eventually, her brand, MAT, was famous and celebrities everywhere wanted something. It stood for Marinette And Tikki, for her favorite tiny god. She knew Tikki would be there for her, no matter what.

Oh no! She was going to be late! Marinette took off, trying to rush home, when she winced and had to slow down. She had forgotten that her ankle was sprained after Alya pushed her down the stairs. She limped home quickly, entering through the back door. She didn’t need her parents realizing she wasn’t home yet.

Marinette hobbled up the steps and into her room, putting down all her books and collapsing on her bed. Tikki came out of her purse and flew near her.

“Marinette! Are you okay? Are you hurt too badly?” Tikki asked, full of concern for her favorite Ladybug.

“No. My face hurts but the main thing is my wrist. I think it’s broken,” Marinette said, trying to stuff the pain and sadness down. It was a habit even though Hawkmoth was defeated. She was just so used to pushing all her emotions down that she couldn’t stop. Blank-faced, she sat up and wiped away the tears. Her face was almost back to normal and she needed to start healing now  since her shift started in 10 minutes.

Marinette started chanting the healing spell she learned from the Grimoire. After Master Fu had passed over guardianship, she had taken it upon herself to learn the Guardians’ magic, as it would help her. Right now, she had to heal her wrist. FInishing the chant, she took a sip of the potion needed to complete the spell. Marinette scrunched her face in disgust. No matter how many times she drank it, it still tasted like a mix of broccoli, sock, and camembert. Odd combination, but what can you do?

Now that her wrist was almost fully healed, (it still hurt to move it a lot), she needed to run down for her shift. If she was late, her parents would ground her, and that would hinder her patrol schedule. Even though Hawkmoth was defeated, she and Chat Noir had kept their Miraculous. Well, that’s not completely true.

Chat Noir started out as a good partner, if not a little too flirty. As time went on, however, he started being less helpful. He would flirt aggressively and try to force Ladybug on dates, which made him useless in battles, but at least he would try. Once, he even went as far as to refuse to help defeat an akuma.

During the battle with Hawkmoth, however, when he was revealed to be Gabriel Agreste, Chat Noir fought hard , with an intensity Ladybug didn’t know he could have. It was completely new and seemingly out-of-character for the guy who would constantly get killed and controlled by akumas. Honestly, Marinette was a bit scared. She had to physically stop Chat Noir from cataclysming Hawkmoth.

After Hawkmoth was defeated, Ladybug decided not to reveal identities, since Chat Noir was kind of annoying. Not to mention, he was incompetent in fights and generally terrifying during the battle with Hawkmoth. Not a great person to know your deepest secret.

Chat Noir kept pushing for a reveal, how he deserved this for taking down Hawkmoth, and how everything would be great because they could finally date. Ladybug had no interest, and when she said so and refused the reveal, Chat Noir went crazy.

He began demanding and begging for a reveal, saying how they were ‘soulmates’ and they could ‘ finally start dating’ and how they were ‘perfect’ for each other. When that didn’t work, he was following her on patrol, trying to find out where she lived. Chat Noir and Adrien both got closer to Marinette as well. Chat Noir would stop by and vent about how Ladybug was rejecting him, and how Marinette was so similar to her. Adrien would hang out closer to her and Marinette saw him stealing glances at her during gym and lunch. Normally, this would have made her giddy, but her crush had died the day he said to ‘take the high road’.

Marinette could deal with this. She could deal with the following, the venting, and the begging. It was annoying , but not the worst. Then, it happened. Ladybug was out on patrol and Chat Noir was following her, as usual. He stopped her by yelling and caught up. Then, he grinned, and it was more animal than human.

Ladybug could see the malice in his eyes when he pinned her on the ground. His claws traced her face, then it started. Chat Noir growled and tried to rip her suit, rip her mask, do anything to be able to identify her. He even tried to remove her Miraculous, but thankfully she had enchanted them so they couldn’t be removed by force. Then, he tried his ‘Hail Mary’.

“CATACLYSM,” Chat Noir yelled, no, growled , and Ladybug’s eyes went wide. His hand went to her left side and Ladybug screamed. She could feel the cracks on her skin, could feel the dark energy zooming across her body. She went limp, and Chat Noir jumped away, seeing how the suit cracked but didn’t come off. It left scars from the left side of her rib cage, stretching around to the right side of her stomach. The main one was on the front, but there were many smaller ones, branching from the main one and covering her back.

After all of that, Marinette knew she had to take back the Miraculous. With a heavy heart, Ladybug called Chat Noir to the top of the Eiffel Tower and took back his Miraculous. It was hard but ultimately worth it. Even now, walking down to the bakery, she felt the weight of the ring on the string around her neck and could feel her scars.

No , she thought, not wanting to get lost in the memories, not now. I can do this later . So she plastered on a smile, tied an apron, and started frosting some cupcakes.

Summary: Chat Noir chose the wrong side of a loosing battle

Characters: Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug, Adrien Agreste/Chat Noir

        Marinette always thought Chat Noir would be there when no one else was, ready to help his Ladybug through any situation. Though it quickly became clear that this was not the case. He was incredibly stubborn, a trait she once admired in him, and often times acted like a spoiled child when he didn't get his way. The fact that he had the audacity to walk away from a fight over such a petty reason caused the black-haired girl to reconsider, though that was only one thing compared to so many others she didn’t have the heart to think about right now. 

        Though she really didn't want to do this, she knew it had to be done. He'd proven he just couldn't handle the responsibility of being a hero, thinking it all a game instead of a race to beat Hawkmoth before he beats them. Marinette honestly had to thank her lucky stars though that Hawkmoth wasn't a smarter villain, otherwise he would be able to spin the narrative in dangerous ways if he kept making them fight babies. Though this wasn't about Hawkmoth right now, this was about her partner, the person meant to be her ally through it all. 

        The yin to her yang, the only other person who could really understand her, just left her. He abandoned her when she needed him most, when he knew she couldn't win without him. They were so close to finding out who Hawkmoth was, yet for some reason Chat Noir was acting weirder with each passing day. He no longer flirted with her, which was nice, but he also hardly ever even spoke to her during and after Akuma battles. He'd even been skipping out on patrols lately! While she understood that he was busy sometimes, so was she, but it seemed like a lie more than nothing else. Why couldn't he just trust her?

        It was then that she realized some crucial information when she was talking to Fu one day after training.

"Does Hawkmoth have the ability to possess himself?" 

        Though Fu didn't know for sure if the butterfly villain could, Marinette felt like she'd just had a breakthrough. How could they just excuse Gabriel Agreste so easily like that? The book he owned once belonged to the guardians, his wife disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and his signature design was butterflies! After Emillie vanished, so did Gabriel. Except Marinette knew where he was, considering the man never left his house. Sure, he could just be a grief stricken man, but it all just seemed too suspicious for her to ignore. When she expressed her thoughts to her partner, she had expected excitement... not anger.

"What do you mean we've already ruled him out? Didn't you just hear what I said about him being able to akumatize himself?!" Honestly the spotted hero was incredulous with her partner.

"So?! If that were the case than we'd need to look into other cases of akuma victims not just him!" Chat Noir pointed out.

"The other victims are mostly teenagers and babies! Besides, the few adults that have been possessed don't have the same motive as he does!"

"Why can't you just let this Gabriel Agreste theory go?!"

"Why do you want me to?! Why can't you just trust me on this?!"

"Why don't you trust me on this?" He asked, his sudden shift in tone taking the other teen by surprise. He didn't wait to hear her answer though as he left her on the roof.

        Since then things had only been getting steadily more tense between them, and nothing Marinette did seemed to make it better. And Chat was starting to get scarier, being more violent with the akuma victims. He was angry and she couldn't figure out why. It wasn't her, but then again, how could the girl be so sure of that?

        Soon enough, the cat hero stopped showing up to patrols and akuma battles entirely. Ladybug had to rely on other heroes more and more, and Fu made her worry about Chat Noir being "compromised". Maybe he had to go out of town and it was so sudden he couldn't even tell her he left.

        Weeks turned into months without Chat Noir by her side and she'd never felt more helpless. Sure, she had a plethora of other heroes to choose from to help her out, but it wasn't the same without her partner by her side. And now she didn't just have Chat to worry about, Adrien had vanished mysteriously off the face of the map too. Miss Bustier said that he went back to homeschooling, but Marinette just couldn't believe it. Though she couldn't get into the mansion as neither Marinette nor Ladybug to check. His blinds were perpetually shut and there never seemed to be any light radiating from that cold mansion.

        And now here she was, attempting to sneak into Hawkmoth's base. She'd finally found it after years of searching, no longer the happy-go-lucky 14 year old she once was. Oh how so much could change over the span of four years. With Vipereon by her side, Marinette felt brave. Carapace was on her other side with Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, and Ryuko behind them. They'd run over this plan over a hundred times, but she would never feel truly ready unless Chat was by her side. Though this wasn't the time to be remembering such silly things, he was supposed to be here too.

        It wasn't until they ambushed Hawkmoth did she realize that Chat was here, he was just on the wrong side of the battle. A plethora of emotions ran through the spotted hero, but she settled on anger as she fought her former partner. So many things made sense, especially as Marinette quickly realized the only reason why he would partner up with Hawkmoth. Oh he was going to have so much explaining to do after she took down Hawkmoth and confiscated both of their miraculouses.

Chapter 2: Starring at school

"So, my lady, how did your Valentine's Day go?" Chat Noir asked Ladybug as they were on patrol the night after. Adrien figured, if he figured out Marinette's identity, he should give up his to her.

But obviously not by telling her. That would be too easy.

So this was how he would start, by giving he hints to get her closer to his identity as Chat Noir.

Anyways, Ladybug looked in surprise at him.

"Don't you think it's too late now? That was a week ago." Chat shrugged and grinned.

"Well, I didn't get to ask you then. Both our miraculous kept beeping right after an Akuma attack."

"Yeah, I guess that's a good point. Mine isn't too interesting, to warn you. Anyway, I sent a poem I wrote to someone, but I'm 90% sure that I didn't sign my name on it." Chat laughed. Ladybug blushed and puffed out her cheeks.

"My lady, how could you forget to sign your name?" Chat asked her.

"I was talking to my friend when I wrote it. She talked about how ladybugs bring good luck in, and I quote, 'the love department.' And that's not even the first time that's happened either. What about you? With all the flirting you do, you must have gotten some cards." She smirked.

"More than you would think." Chat muttered under his breath, although Ladybug still caught it. "Actually, my story is similar to yours. Except I was the one that received an unsigned card. It actually seemed to answer a poem I wrote." Ladybug's eyes widened.

"O-oh really? What a coincidence..." Chat smiled at her.

"Seem that way. The streets look clear tonight and as much as I hate to say good-bye, I have some business to attend to. Have a good night, my lady." Ladybug smiled.

"Have a nice night, Chat." And with that they were off home.

Marinette was confused and slightly panicked.

On Valentine's Day, Chat got an unsigned card. She has sent an unsigned card to Adrien.

It was definitely a coincidence, right?

But, then if Marinette knew herself, she knows that she's the only one who would forget to sign a card they wrote to their long time crush. But if that was the only unsigned card, aside for all the anonymous ones of course, that would mean that Chat was Adrien.

Chat was Adrien...

Marinette blushed at the thought. That would mean that Adrien liked her. At least as Ladybug. And that would also mean that she...kissed...him.

Okay, she couldn't jump to conclusion, it could just be a coincidence! Right now, Marinette had no proof that Adrien was Chat.

And she wanted to keep their identities a secret anyways. Well, she did. Now, she wasn't so sure.

After that kiss, Marinette wasn't exactly sure what she thought of her partner. She had felt something in that kiss, even thought it was only to save him. Her feeling for him were changing without her control. She still like Adrien, but then there was Chat...

But if they were the same person...

Ugh! This was all to complicated for Marinette. She got ready for bed and went to sleep as best she could with all her racing thoughts.

Oh crap, she was going to see Adrien at school tomorrow. How was she going to talk to him if she thought he was Chat Noir?

And how would she talk to Chat if he was Adrien? Oh gosh...

Add that to the list of racing thoughts.

Marinette and Adrien were acting very weird, Alya and Nino noticed.

For one thing, Adrien couldn't take his eyes off Mari. He seemed to be really interested in her every since Rose was akumatized. And Alya and Nino couldn't figure out why.

Alya hoped it was because he had fallen for Marinette.

Heh, if only she knew how right she was.

As for Marinette, she seemed to be avoiding him. Not even glancing at him when his back was turned like she normally would. The only thing that hadn't changed was that she blushed whenever he smiled he her when she did look at him.

Alya had no idea what happened and, with Nino, wanted to find out what happened between them.

Marinette wasn't going to enjoy this.

"So, what's going on?" Alya asked Marinette during lunch. She blushed.

"What?! N-Nothings going on. Everything's fine, you know, just being normal Marinette." She said to Alya.

Alya wasn't buying it, unfortunately for her.

"Oh really? You've been avoiding Adrien more than usual today. Did something happen between you two?" Alya smirked. Marinette blushed again.

"Nope! I'm just worried after overhearing him talking about that l-love letter. I mean, how am I supposed to face him if he asks me about it?" Thankfully, Alya bought this.

"Oh, so that's what you're worried about. Just don't deny it, tell him you're the one who sent it."

"But what if he likes someone else?"

"Don't worry, Mari. You are amazing and I'm sure Adrien knows by now. He was staring at you all day." Marinette didn't think her face could get any redder at this point.

"W-Was he?" Alya nodded.

"Yep! He's totally fallen for you!"

Meanwhile, Nino and Adrien were having a similar conversation.

"So, dude, what's up with you?"

"What do you mean?" Nino laughed.

"Don't play dumb dude, Me and Alya saw you staring at Marinette today in class. Have you finally fallen for her?" Adrien blushed.

"What do you mean finally?" Nino smirked. Similar to Alya for some reason.

"Bro, Mari's had a crush on you for a long time. How have you not noticed it?" Adrien blushed a deeper red.

"N-No, I'm sure that's not the case. Sh-She doesn't like me that way. I mean, remember how we first met? I don't think she likes me a whole lot. And especially not in that way." Nino gave him a reassuring smile.

"Adrien, I know that Marinette doesn't think of you like that. She likes you, dude. I mean, didn't you see the way she was blushing when she caught you smiling at her. A lot like yours now."

Adrien blushed some more before hitting a laughing Nino in the arm.

It was Friday.

It was Friday and it was six o'clock.

It was Friday and it was six o'clock and in four hours Ladybug would be having The Talk with Cat Noir.

Marinette was nervous. More nervous than she'd ever been in her life.

She spent her whole day pacing in her bedroom, worrying over various scenarios to Tikki, who watched on, munching on her plate of cookies.

"…and what if he's not interested in knowing anymore? What if he doesn't care who I am?"

Tikki shook her head. "Now you know that's ridiculous, Marinette. Of course he wants to know. He's probably just as lonely as you are."

"Okay, but what if he isn't? What if he has a girlfriend and doesn't want to complicate the relationship by meeting me? I know we've flirted in the past. And I also know we've both dated. Who is to say he's not in a committed relationship by now?"

"You'll always be his friend, right? Even if he has a girlfriend?"

Marinette pursed her lips. "Of course I will, but I just don't know if she would be happy about some random girl dropping into her boyfriend's life." Marinette gasped and halted her pacing. "How do I even bring it up? Oh, Tikki,  I haven't thought this through at all!"

"You'll think of something, Marinette. You always do."

Marinette flopped onto her chaise, face down. She felt like a fifteen year old girl again. She wished she could call Alya for advice, but couldn't for obvious reasons. Her best friend always knew what to say. Marinette giggled at the idea of approaching Alya with this problem. How would she react to her eternally single BFF suddenly coming to her with boy problems? She would flip. Not to mention, Alya was Ladybug and Cat Noir's biggest and oldest fan. She would flip for completely different reasons if she found out Ladybug's alter ego was Marinette all along.

Marinette stayed in that position until her mother called her to dinner.

Tom and Sabine noticed that their daughter was unusually quiet at the table. Each of them tried to coax an explanation out of her, but to no avail. Sabine assumed it was just  stress over her thesis project. Tom assumed it was some kind of existential crisis that neither of them would be able to understand.

Tom was half right.

After an excruciatingly awkward dinner with her parents, Marinette decided she couldn't sit idly any longer. There was an hour left before she was supposed to meet Cat Noir, and she was feeling way too restless. She needed to burn off some of this energy.  She told her parents she was going out for a walk, and grabbed a couple of leftover macarons from the bakery for Tikki before heading out.

She walked to the Institut de France as a civilian, enjoying watching the tourists marvel at the city she was so proud to protect.

The wall took about a half an hour, significantly longer than it would have taken if she had been suited up, but she appreciated the time to clear her head. Marinette still had no clue what to say to Cat Noir when he showed up. It wasn't like she could just waltz up to him and say "Hey, hot stuff, you still wanna see what's under the mask?" then drop her transformation.

Marinette groaned and smacked herself in the forehead. She was getting ridiculous. But time was almost up.

It wasn't until Marinette was looking for a place to transform that she considered the worst case scenario. Hiding behind a bush, she opened her purse. "Tikki, what if he doesn't show up?"

The little Kwami shook her head. "He wouldn't stand you up intentionally, Marinette."

"I mean, the message I sent was super vague and awkward. What if he got freaked out? Or what if he hasn't seen it? Maybe he doesn't even transform regularly. And we've already met up once this week. Maybe he just doesn't know? Or doesn't care?"

"You'll never find out unless you transform and get out there. If he comes, you know you're ready to do this, and if he doesn't, we can stop somewhere to get some ice cream and watch a sad movie together." Tikki fluttered out of her hiding space in Marinette's purse and hugged her cheek. "Try not to worry so much, Marinette."

"Thanks, Tikki," Marinette rubbed the top of Tikki's head affectionately.

She quickly transformed before someone discovered her hiding spot and used her yoyo to scale the building. She was thankful that she'd come out so early. The extra time gave her an opportunity to stew.

Adrien was anxious to say the least. He hadn't heard from Ladybug since her strange, cryptic message the other day. She said it was nothing dangerous, but their definitions of danger had a tendency to differ…

Whatever it was she wanted to meet about, it was an opportunity to see her again, so he might as well appreciate it.

Once he was transformed, he headed straight for the Institut de France, where his Lady would be waiting for him.

He spotted the red and black clad heroine from across the street and used his baton to propel him into the air. He lept across rooftops until he found a good jumping off point to get him across to the cupola. He grinned at the sight of Ladybug watching the stars from her spot on the dome. There was a light tension to her form, a definite change from the last time he had found her napping on a rooftop. As he landed behind her, he wondered if what she wanted to discuss was dangerous after all. It was clearly causing her some stress.

A small frown fixed itself on Cat Noir's face as he approached her. In an attempt to lighten her worries, he flopped unceremoniously down next to Ladybug, lying down on his back with one leg stretched out and one bent at the knee. He tried not to show how worried her message had him and painted himself to be the same carefree cat he always was when he was with her. He folded his arms behind his head.

"Twice in one week, LB. We haven’t done this in years! Maybe we should do it more often."

Ladybug's laughter was obviously forced, and she didn’t even make eye contact. Cat Noir frowned, but waited for her to respond. She'd called him out for a reason. She wouldn't keep him in the dark for long.

"Good to see you, too, Cat Noir."

She fell silent again, causing the niggling worry in Cat Noir's heart to grow. He tried to keep his voice steady. "So, what's going on, Bug? You said you wanted to talk about something?"

Ladybug sighed. She took a deep breath and let it out again. The tension in her shoulders didn't ease. It was like she was trying to psych herself up. "Okay," she said. "Okay, okay, okay."

Cat Noir propped himself up on his elbows and stared at Ladybug.

"So, it's like this. All of the evil targeting Paris has been gone for like a year now. It's quiet now. I love being Ladybug. It's been a part of my life for so long now that I don't know who I would be right now without it, and…without you." She pulled her legs up to her chin and wrapped her arms around her knees. She still hadn’t met his eyes. "But it gets lonely lately. It's like, ever since we took down the last villain, life has been so predictable. And that's not a bad thing, necessarily. It's definitely safer." Ladybug sighed again. "I feel like I'm rambling." She bit her lip, and sat quietly for a moment. Adrien knew her well enough to know that she needed to gather her thoughts, so he sat up and let her think. She chewed on her bottom lip for a moment, rubbed her temples, and squeezed her eyes shut. Finally, she turned to him. "I guess what I'm trying to say is…I just miss you."

Whatever Cat Noir thought Ladybug was going to say, that wasn't it. "I-I miss you, too, My Lady."

"I know we are supposed to protect our identities, even from each other. It was dangerous for us before. One of our enemies could have used it against us if they knew that we knew. But things are different now. We're older, stronger, and we've taken down all of our enemies."

"LB, are you saying what I think you're saying right now?"

"I mean, I don't even really know what I'm saying! I guess what I’m trying to get out with these," she made a vague but frantic gesture with her hands, "words or whatever is that I think it's okay, I mean if you want to and you're okay with it or whatever," she took another deep breath, "Ithinkitmightbeokayifwerevealedouridentities!"

As soon as the rush of words tumbled out of her mouth, she buried her face in her knees, like she couldn't believe what she'd said and she was terrified of them blowing up in her face.

Cat Noir fell back on his hands, nearly slipping on the dome, but catching himself at the last second. He never thought this day would come, yet here he was.

"That is," she whispered, "if you want to. I don't want to pressure you or anything. I just…miss my best friend."

Adrien slipped again, this time falling flat onto the dome. His lady, his Bug, was asking if he wanted to know the real him. She said she missed her best friend, that she wouldn't be who she was without him, and that she wanted to know him. How could he possibly say no to that? All of his teenage fantasies about this moment were going to come true.

Cat didn't realize just how long he sat in stunned silence until Ladybug shifted.

"Maybe this was a bad idea." She laughed and stood. From where he lay, still on the dome in shock, he could see a tinge of pink in her cheeks. "Maybe I should just…maybe you should just…forget I said anything. Sorry." She reached for the yoyo at her waist.

Cat Noir scrambled to his feet and grabbed her hand without thinking. "Wait!"

Ladybug turned to him, her deep blue eyes as large and wide as saucers as she stared at him.

"Don't say that! Don't…don't leave." Cat Noir adjusted his posture, and gripped her hand with both of his. "You took me by surprise, that's all. I miss you, too. I miss you all the time. Do you know how many times I've wanted to just call you and talk about my day? Or complain to you, or tell you a stupid joke I've heard? You know I've wanted to know who you are under the mask since we were kids. Of course I still want to know now!"

Ladybug's shoulder's finally relaxed, the tension finally seeping out of them. Cat Noir didn't let go of her hand. "Me, too," she said quietly. "I want to be able to call you, and text you, and send you stupid memes I see on the internet. And I want to hang out with you without the masks." He didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He knew, being a super hero and all, both he and Ladybug had a flair for the dramatic. To any outsider, this scene would seem like something out of a soap opera. But he couldn't imagine this situation any other way. He didn't want it any other way.

"So," he said, "How do you want to do this?"

Ladybug laughed and wiped her eye with her free hand. "I don't know. I really didn't think I would get this far."

Cat Noir chuckled at that. "You worked yourself up like that, and you didn't have a plan for what would happen next? I can't believe you!"

Ladybug pouted indignantly. "Look, it was enough for me to even initiate this conversation. Do I have to do everything?"

"No, you're right. Come, sit back down and let me think."

After finally releasing Ladybug's hand, they each took a seat at the edge of the cupola, legs dangling from the tower, staring out at the Seine.

Detransforming up here could be risky. They were in direct view of the public, and without their suits they could risk hurting themselves. So, immediate action was definitely out.

He wanted to take action soon, but the truth was, under the mask he wasn't prepared. Call him vain, but he at least wanted to be clean shaven before he revealed himself to Ladybug. He had been so worried, he hadn't done that, or even brushed his hair that day. Besides, he wanted his first look at his lady to be in the sunlight.

"Okay. Let's not be impulsive about this. This is a big deal, right?"

Ladybug nodded.

"So maybe we take this slow. Give ourselves some time to prepare."

"Y-yeah. That's a good idea."

"So then, can we meet again…Tomorrow?" Cat Noir scanned their surroundings and noticed a middle school with an open courtyard. He made the suggestion that maybe they meet there, after all, the students and teachers should be cleared out in the afternoon on a Saturday. Ladybug smiled, almost to herself, and told him that the school he suggested didn't have Saturday classes at all, so they should be safe to have a few moments of privacy there.

So, they agreed. That's where they would do it.

Tomorrow afternoon, their lives would change forever.

But for now, they simply savored each other's company and stargazed into the late hours of the night.

The Parisian skyline twinkled like a million little stars as Ladybug and Chat Noir lounged atop the roof of an apartment building. The only thing that could have made it better would be if the light pollution didn't block out the actual stars, but Ladybug wouldn't complain. It had been a long week at school, which included two projects and a presentation.

Luckily, Hawkmoth hadn't sent out an akuma since the week before. Unfortunately, it also meant she hadn't had an excuse to get out of her house and away from her books. When Tikki told her that Chat Noir had called, she was thrilled to accept his request to meet up.

They set up social visits every so often, and Ladybug found that her partner was quite a bit calmer when he wasn't in the midst of a battle. Sometimes she was surprised at just how insightful he could be when it was just the two of them staring out at the city. She supposed she shouldn't be surprised; Chat Noir was possibly the sweetest person she'd ever met.

She laughed as she remembered something she saw earlier in the day, "Oh, I read something online that reminded me of you."

His eyes widened in surprise before his lips began to quirk up in that insufferable smirk, and Ladybug braced herself for the inevitable flirting that would ensue.

Chat Noir waggled his eyebrows and leaned into her personal space, "So you were thinking about me, My Lady?"

She rolled her eyes and placed a hand on his chest to halt his advances, "Unfortunately."

"It's okay, Bugaboo. You're always on my mind too," he murmured in a velvety tone.

Ladybug's heart fluttered a bit, and she jolted with surprise when she realized he'd actually gotten to her. She eyed him with disbelief, wondering how he'd caught her off guard like that.

Apparently, she'd been staring a bit too long.

Chat Noir gave her a saucy wink.

"Like what you see?" he remarked.

She huffed and gave him a lighthearted shove using the hand that was still on his chest. She might have worried about hurting his feelings if he were anyone else, but she knew Chat. He didn't miss a beat, and doubled over with laughter immediately.

His good mood was contagious, and soon Ladybug found herself giggling along with him. Something in his laugh called to mind images of rain, though she couldn't fathom why.

"What reminded you of me?" he inquired, gazing at her without a trace of teasing in his green eyes. Ladybug gave him a fond smile and flipped her yoyo open to show him the post she'd seen.

Unsure of how to confess your love to someone? Try this:

1. Acquire several dozen limes.

2. Go up to them and then drop all the limes

3. Start picking them up, but keep dropping them. The clumsier you look, the better.

4. Keep doing this until you have their attention (this could take up to thirty minutes).

5. Finally, gather up the limes. Try looking a bit sheepish.

6. Look them deeply in the eyes and say, "Sorry, I'm bad at Pickup Limes."

7. Marry them.

Chat snorted in an undignified manner, "That's the best thing I've ever seen!"

Ladybug smiled at absolute glee in his eyes, "I thought you'd like it. Even if it is completely unrealistic."

He grinned, "Doesn't seem unrealistic to me. Limes are pretty easy to get ahold of."

The spotted superheroine rolled her eyes, "The seventh step is a bit presumptuous, don't you think?"

Chat Noir placed a hand over his heart, "Ladybug, if a girl used that pickup line on me, I'd totally marry her."

Ladybug snorted and punched him in the arm, "Shut up! No you wouldn't!"

He chuckled and rubbed the spot on his arm, even though she hadn't hit him nearly hard enough to feel it through the suit.

"Well, I'd definitely ask her out on a date," he amended.

The superheroine nodded in approval, "That sounds a bit more realistic."

Three days and a flash of green light later, Marinette started her off week in a tailspin. She ran home and darted up the stairs to her room, skipping a few steps along the way.

"Ohmygosh, Tikki! He's- Adrien is-! Ohmygosh, ohmygosh, ohmygosh!" Marinette whispered as she clutched her head. The kwami patted her hand comfortingly.

Marinette took a few minutes to get herself under control and then turned to Tikki with a wide grin.

"Are you okay, Marinette?" Tikki inquired softly.

"Okay? I'm way better than okay, Tikki! Adrien is Chat Noir, so that means I actually know Adrien like the back of my hand! How great is that?" she replied, waving her hands around excitedly.

Tikki tittered and snuggled up against her Chosen's cheek.

She smiled up at the pigtailed girl, "I'm glad you're taking it so well, Marinette."

Marinette giggled, "Why wouldn't I be taking it well? I just found out the love of my life calls me Bugaboo."

Tikki laughed too, "That's true! Who would've thought Adrien would have such silly nicknames for you?"

"Ooh, he's such a dork," Marinette squealed.

"Marinette, you should tell him who you are. It's only fair," Tikki suggested.

"I know, Tikki! I definitely plan to do it soon. I have to do it the perfect way, though." Marinette mused, tapping her chin as she thought it over.

The kwami tilted her head to the side in question.

"The perfect way?" she inquired.

Marinette nodded, "Definitely."

The pigtailed girl sprawled out on her bedroom floor, staring at the ceiling while she sifted through ideas. Tikki settled on the floor next to her head, chewing on a cookie while she waited.

After more than a few minutes of wracking her brain, Marinette jolted into a sitting position and scrambled to grab her phone. She clumsily dialed her best friend's phone number and a wicked grin stretched across her face when Alya answered.

"Hey Alya! I have a plan that'll definitely get Adrien to notice me. Would you mind helping me out?" she asked, bouncing her leg in excitement.

"What!? Girl, you don't even have to ask! Let me in on the plan," Alya screeched on the other line. Marinette smiled at Tikki.

"I'm gonna need a whole lot of limes."

If anyone questioned why Alya Cesaire was carrying a good sized box of limes through the front doors of Francois Dupont, they didn't voice their concerns. The Ladyblogger placed it on top of a grinning Marinette's desk.

"Mari, I love you... but I really don't think this is gonna work the way you want it to," Alya reasoned, worry in her eyes. The pigtailed girl's grin only widened, "Trust me, Alya. This is gonna be perfect."

"Marinette-" Alya began, but her words cut off as soon as the blond haired model walked through the doors.

He beamed at the two girls in greeting, "Hey, Alya! Hey, Marin-"

Marinette promptly dumped the box of limes out on the floor, allowing them to roll down the stairs and to Adrien's feet.

"Oops," she remarked without much conviction, and rushed down the steps to gather up the fallen citrus. Adrien blinked dumbly for a bit while she fumbled around, seemingly unable to hold on to any of the limes for longer than a millisecond.

Alya covered her face, unable to watch her friend's trainwreck of a plan any longer.

Ever the gentleman, Adrien crouched down to help her gather them up. They both froze as his fingers brushed against hers.

She locked eyes with him, and marveled at just how lovely he looked when he was confused. Marinette committed his expression to memory, and then her lips turned up in a smug grin.

"Sorry. I'm bad at Pickup Limes," she stated proudly.

Adrien's breath hitched, and he looked torn between laughing and simply gasping for air. There was no doubt about it, he'd figured her out. Marinette watched a multitude of emotions flicker across his features, and wondered which one was going to win out.

Her curiosity was finally satisfied when his expression settled into a delighted grin. Marinette felt his hand drift forward to envelop her own.

Then the grin rapidly devolved into a flirtatious smirk.

"Will you marry me?" he smarmed, throwing in a wink for good measure.

Alya's jaw dropped, and Marinette fought to urge to rub her obvious success in her best friend's face. She had an important question to answer, after all.

Marinette giggled and tapped her chin, "I don't know yet. I wouldn't say no to a date, though."

Adrien grinned triumphantly, "Deal."
