So not only are they phasing out clones and forcing them to retire. It’s being implied they are also being transported to the cloning facility to be experimented on. ‘Cause why not add to the laundry list of abuses and inhumane treatment of the clones. I just…it’s just so sad. The total apathy. “He [Commander Mayday] is expendable, as are you.”

They are being erased and soon they will be forgotten. The clone army will be a blip in the history of the fallen Republic and the rising Empire even though they played a vital role in both regimes. Do we see the complete impact the clones had on the socioeconomic and political structure of the galaxy? It is all seen and talked about but they are ghosts forgotten in the background because there is no one left to tell their story. And if they are remembered, it’s for the one act they had no control over - the elimination of the Jedi.

It was always going to play out this way for the clones. An inevitability like the circling predator stalking Crosshair and Mayday’s path the entire episode.

But seeing it play out is absolutely heart wrenching. The season is taking a darker and darker turn, and it’s amazing to see the fate of the clones play out in The Bad Batch. Let’s hope the Batch, Echo and Rex can save some of their brothers so they can write their story. God, I loved and hated “The Outpost.” It was so devastatingly good.

idk man. it’s the way jamie is always the link between them. even in conversations about sex. it’s jamie leaving the studio wearing all black, feeling lost, & seeks out keeley. it’s roy entering the studio (wearing all black ofc), feeling nervous, & calls keeley. plus the whole latest episode mirroring this ep thing and roy has been lost/stuck, trying to find his way back/figure out what he actually wants. how his card was both words he meant for keeley and for jamie…how 2x02 ends w keeley encouraging roy to try something new and with jamie coming back home.

not to mention roy waiting to ask until he was on top of her what keeley told “the prince prick of all pricks” cuz clearly he was thinking of him…

anyways if not ot3/roy x jamie endgame why the writing???

oh no, oh god, now that i think about it, do you understand why way’s end is so unsatisfying, besides the oblivious (peteway, duh)?

my heartbroken evil boy was going though 5 stages of grief throughout the series, but he could only fully live out 4 of them, and when he was almost there at the 5th he was killed off by stupid, STUPID showrunners.

at first he denied that charlie was the real deal, that he’s here to stay. way hoped that he’s just like the other fucktoys he tolerated because babe needed them.

anger, obviously, our passive aggressive drama queen way was not in the mood when he realised that charlie is not some rando but a whole boyfriend.

bargaining. let’s say those were his attempts to talk to babe alone and his sa attempt. i’m sure you can find traces of this stage when you look close enough.

then, depression. obviously, those were the times he spent in the bar drinking himself to oblivion trying to forget that he’s a piece of shit and his life is on an autobahn to hell so to say.

that’s the stage pete finds him at and becomes a guiding light for way to follow like a firefly.

the last stage is acceptance. and that’s the stage we saw way getting closer to, with difficulty, with stubbornness, but he was steadily going in the right direction and i am damn sure that given time he would’ve gotten over himself and his toxic love for babe would’ve transformed into a platonic love, a caring friendship, and it would’ve cleared the path for some mutual love entering his life (hello pete thank you for bulldozing your way into way’s head and heart you’re an angel and we’re blessed to have you)

Good morning! It’s around 7am my time and I can’t help but think about the short-lived villain of the story spitting this in Ted’s face and that’s how the show about overcoming adversity ended bye.

While Jesper is by far my favorite Shadow and Bone character, like I LOVE him, like I would die for him, and be happy about it, and every time he comes on screen I’m just So Happy, while that’s true, if I could meet any of the characters, it’d have to be Kaz. Mostly just because I wanna say one statement to him, simply because his reaction would be hilarious. Said statement is:

“You’re such a silly little goose, Kazzle Dazzle.”

I put it onto my twitter but here it goes as well… I watched JRWI Apotheosis! I need to let my feelings out somewhere!

I just finished the Apotheosis campaign... I cried. In my 19 years of life I have finally cried over a medium I've consumed. Because they are happy... because at the end of the journey they took me on, they were all happy! Because isn't it beautiful that the one who didn't expect to live much longer than the gods got to outlive them all? Isn't it poetic that the one who spoke of a lack of purpose once the gods are slain was the one to control the last god's life? The one who didn't care for recognition as long as the deed was done gets remembered as the hero that he is. Statues stand in cities, commemorating his deed! Peter remembers him as the coolest friend he's ever had!

He gets to live in the stars. Thanatos lives the longest- with an endless supply of the odd, insane and amazing stories that Elena provides and has provided through their life! He lives with the satisfaction of not giving the gods what they wanted. He gets to live with his purpose instead of dying for it! Thanatos gets to keep a careful guard, he gets to be filled with what he does, he has a friend and the life story of his two best friends with the half-alive statue of a god to attest to it!

And Elena gets to find themselves. They went through life in fear of being themselves, they live many lives but none suit them. They hide and they project onto others, they grasp at any and all opportunities that would make their life better. And then their life changes when they meet Peter and Thanatos. They get to go save the world! They get to make true friends who love them for what they are, not who they are! They get to find love. They get to grow old with a person who understands them and cares for them deeply! They get to be themselves and they get to learn what that means! They get to find who they are and who they want to be! They get to spend this life with Peter! They get to spend this life with memories of Thanatos! They get to settle down and live a peaceful life. They are finally whole.

And Peter. Small, meak Peter who never managed to do anything right in his lowly life... he helps kill god! He overpowers an angel! He finds his own strength despite how easy it would be to just use someone else's! He gets to live! He makes friends! Memories! Love! He finds everything and more he's ever hoped for in his life! And with this power he helps those in need. He helps the world around him so those people don't need to suffer. And he gets to do it with the best partner he could ever dream of! He gets to come home to Elena and the two get to tend to their garden, or collect rocks, or just talk. They get to be happy together! He gets to look up at the night sky and see Thanatos in there! He gets to remember his friend and carry his memory with him forever! He spreads the word of Thanatos- the god slayer! The savior! The friend!

Peter is happy! Elena is happy! Thanatos is happy! After all the trials life threw at them, through the apocalypse and back, they pulled through together and now they get to enjoy the world they managed to save! They are happy!

They are happy.
