best time to write: if i had my way it’d be an hour or two after i wake up in the morning and made myself my fancy energy drink + did my n.eopets dailies 💕 i try to make sure i get one day off like this each weekend it’s so lovely. (doesn’t mean i’m not willing to have some more plot focused rps if you’re not looking for smut heavy ones) i’ll pick a toxic relationship over a happy carefree one every time. give me the most deprived shit–or a relationship with some turmoil that’ll take some time to fix. i even do dead dove themes; all except underage and animal abuse. i still have limits when it comes to kinks: no feet, bathroom stuff, any type of baby play, pregnancy/mpreg, omegaverse, forced fem, spitting, vomit. i go off the kinks my characters have anyways. ofc i still do expect a good story going on with in depth characters, world building, and side characters. i still appreciate moments of fluff. i love yapping about our characters and sending memes and music. trust me i can get very hyperfixated on a ship and will not shut up about ideas i’ve thought about or little moments between them

I won’t kill or grievously injure your muse unless you give me the green light to do so, considering that this is the Dragon Ball Universe we’re playing with, it’s not entirely impossible for your muse to survive an attack from one of my muses or be brought back to life with the Dragon Balls, etc. Honestly this is roleplay, so creative liberty is always at our disposal.

Smut or any other violence or distressing content will be placed under a read more line, I don’t expect you to turn around and do the same because I don’t run your page, so do whatever the heck you feel like. But for myself, I’ll always prefer to keep my smut or triggering content under a read more for the sake of my mutuals comfort.

I do head canon most of my muses to be pansexual, so gays, they’s and them’s, feel free to flirt with any of my characters. However, not everyone will be as reciprocating, so don’t be surprised if your muses attempts fall flat on their faces. And if your muse persists with their advances, then don’t be surprised if they’re removed with force. (Ex. Punched, thrown, ki-blasted, kicked, etc.) This will usually only happen if they’ve been continuously warned.

Continuing from the above, PLEASE ESTABLISH BOUNDARIES WHEN WE FIRST START INTERACTING. He’s rushing to the coffin, and Maddox is scarily still inside. Peter drops to his knees, tears of despair rolling down his face. They couldn’t have come all this way to find him dead. They searched the island to search for their friend, and this can’t be it. It just can’t. (In the back of his mind, he knows it isn’t, that this is a memory more than a dream, but that doesn’t stop the tears, or the desperation.)

“Come on… come ON!” He slams a fist against the glass, and to his surprise it gives way under his hand.

(Wait, what?)

Dick pushes past Strike and Peter, leans over to wrap his fingers around Maddox’s wrist. Then looks up, eyes wide and wet. “No pulse. He’s… he’s gone.”

No no no wait. This is wrong.

This isn’t how it happened.

Strike lets out a cry of grief, pulling Maddox into her arms and cradling him. Christine bursts into tears, and even Arrio staggers back in shock. Venatrix’s mouth hangs open, Nia clinging to her arm and crying quietly. Dick runs a hand through his hair and hangs his head.

And Peter starts to panic.

What the… what’s going on this is wrong this is wrong this is wrong MADDOX you couldn’t save him just like Uncle Ben and he’s gone and he’s gone and he’s gone and-

“Why didn’t you help him, Peter?” Strike stares at him through tear-filled blue eyes. “I thought you were supposed to be a hero.” “I… I-” “You’re supposed to save people. Not let them die,” Raoul hisses accusatorially, and Dick shakes his head disdainfully. “I thought you were like me, but I was wrong.”

Peter staggers away from the glares and sharp words digging into his heart like broken glass. “I’m sorry,” he sobs. “I tried, I just…” “You just weren’t enough.” “Matt?” Peter recoils away from him. “I- I-” “Wake up, Peter.” Matt’s sunglasses are gone, and his blind eyes seem to bore into Peter’s, piercing deep into his thoughts, laying out everything wrong with him for the world to see.

Nia steps closer. “Wake up, Peter.” “Wake up, Peter.” “Wake up, Peter.” “Wake up, Peter.” “Wake up, Peter.” Strike, and then Dick, then Christine, then Raoul, then Trixi, the Arrio, louder and louder and louder until his skull might explode with the force of it-

“Peter, wake up!”

He shot up in bed with a gasp, recognising Maddox’s voice just in time to stop himself from grabbing for his webshooters. “Mad… Maddox?” His breaths were going way too fast, like he had just run a marathon instead of being asleep. “Yeah, it’s me, mate. I got you.” Peter almost burst into tears of relief at that, instead confining himself to squeezing Maddox’s arm. He reacted by pulling Peter into a tight hug.

“I felt you panicking,” Maddox said softly after a moment. “Do you… wanna talk about it?” Peter swallowed, then shrugged into Maddox’s hold. “I don’t know. It was weird.” “It’s alright, it’s alright. Y’know, Strike and everyone else in her galaxy says I’m weird too.” He smiled gently down at him, and Peter leaned his head against Maddox’s shoulder, hesitating.

“…Well, it was kind of… more like a memory than a dream. We were on the island again, and we’d just found you in that glass box.” “…I still don’t get why I was in that thing either,” Maddox mused. “Yeah… Except this time, we didn’t say ’I love you’ to get you out of it. When I hit the glass, it shattered, and- and Dick tried to find your pulse, but you didn’t have one, and nothing- nothing that we could say or do would wake you up and you were gone.” His voice broke on the last word, and he took in a shuddering breath, reaching up to wipe away the tears that threatened to soak into the sleeve of Maddox’s shirt. He wasn’t wearing his jacket; Peter’s nightmare must’ve woken him up too, and he felt instantly guilty.

The spy must have sensed it, because he squeezed Peter tightly and said, “Shhhh. It’s not your fault, mate. It is not your fault. And you are enough, you hear me?” Peter sniffled and nodded, burrowing tighter into him.

“You’re the best of us, kid,” he murmured, almost too low for Peter to hear.

They sat there for a few long minutes, until Peter finally whispered, “I should let you get back to bed,” and started to untangle himself from Maddox, but he simply moved to hold Peter differently. “I can do that just as well here as in my room,” he reassured him. “Just be still now.” Compliantly (and a little relieved), Peter snuggled back against him. The last thing he remembered before falling asleep was Maddox humming a song, hands rubbing soft, soothing circles against Peter’s back.
