I've heard one of my posts is causing waves
Here's some more things that are normal in DID/OSDD systems, and some weird myths, in no particular order
- Not realizing you're a system until later is normal (average age of system discovery is 18-21)
- It's rare for children to display distinct alters (not impossible, just a rare occurrence in a rare disorder (based on numbers, it's considered rare, yes), alters tend to form in mid-teens)
- Feeling as though you "created" an alter is normal (related to unconscious feelings of control over an uncontrollable situation, and/or tricking yourself into an explanation, also, if you have a need to be filled, the brain WILL provide)
- "mixed origin systems" are totally normal for DID/OSDD. I have a couple alters that could be considered "endogenic", but I'm really just... DID, with normal alters forming in normal ways
- Alters forming at any age/time is normal (you can form a brand new alter at fifty, after having undergone complete fusion, once the ability is there, it's always possible to split)
- Alters don't always appear immediately after a traumatic event (alters can take YEARS to come to front after forming, making it impossible to tie them to specific events unless THEY'RE aware of the connection)
- Alters can form from stress, not just trauma (and the brain is notoriously good at hiding how stressed you are from yourself)
- Comfort splits ARE normal in DID/OSDD
- The amnesia criteria in DID doesn't mean you need to experience amnesia day-to-day, you still have DID if you can't remember childhood events but have good communication now
- The dysfunction criteria is redundant and circular, where the symptoms themselves fulfill the criteria, and as per the DSM, doesn't imply any inherent need for treatment or distress-- so being happy, loving your system, feeling like your system helps you more than it hinders you, all normal (and good!) but still DID/OSDD
- OSDD 1a does not involve alters as they're known, but states or modes that influence you, and amnesia occurs during these periods of influence; OSDD 1b involves "emotional amnesia" only (which is just a stupid, fancy word for dissociation (an emotional disconnect from a memory) that doesn't actually exist in the medical world)
- You can have as many EPs and ANPs as you'd like. The majority of systems with OSDD feel as though the one ANP theory doesn't fit them, and there have recently been updates to theories to acknowledge this
- Integration is the lowering of dissociative barriers to allow for better communication between system members, and is absolutely necessary for functional multiplicity (fusion is the joining of two or more alters). These definitions come from the ISSTD, and it IS recognized by the ISSTD that integration and functional multiplicity are viable and attainable treatment goals. Keep this in mind when conversations about these topics come up-- if you can communicate clearly with alters, you're already well integrated. It's not scary, it's not bad, and no one can or will make you fuse.
- CPTSD, the basis of dissociative disorders and DID, presents very differently from PTSD -- mostly presenting as a negative view of the self and vigilance rather than the flashbacks and nightmares you'd see in PTSD (it's quite similar to BPD, but the view of the self is negative rather than unstable). If you resonate with some aspects of BPD and have a system, and you don't experience the "typical" presentation of PTSD, that's normal. That's CPTSD (complex PTSD, not chronic PTSD), maybe read up on it.
- You don't need to know your trauma to acknowledge that you have DID/OSDD, and no one should be pushing that you search for trauma. Who cares, move at your own pace, maybe you'll never figure it out, and that's perfectly fine. People who push others about their trauma will face my wrath.
- Trauma isn't an action, but a REACTION to an event. What traumatizes one person, may not have any effect on another person, and vice versa. This isn't about what might have happened to you, but how you felt about it. There is no Trauma Olympics, and people who play that way are ridiculous. Trauma reactions are personal and unique, and come from anything-- bullying, isolation and loneliness, abuse. And yes, other disorders can make you more susceptible to trauma reactions. Having autism or ADHD or BPD, EDs, psychosis, schizophrenia-- all of these create more opportunities for trauma reactions, and make someone more susceptible. That doesn't mean you're not trauma based. It doesn't mean those things caused your system. It means those things made it harder for you to navigate life and left you more susceptible to trauma. That's it.
- MADD is typically trauma based
There's so, so many more. Other DID/OSDD systems, feel free to add on, endogenic systems, ask if something is normal.

I should really make a habit out of this...
Tumblr media
If there's one thing I've known about myself is that I really enjoy writing my thoughts out on paper, but I don't really share much of that online. Well, I wanna change that and make a habit of writing at least one (1) journaling type of post per week! (let's see how long that is gonna last)
My personal goal will be to share the week's happenings and hopefully attach pictures. (The one on above is of me journaling earlier this sunday.)
Below you will find pictures of a painting I've been working on and that I legit think there's no saving for. I think I deeply ruined it by adding this figure even though that's something I always do... Something about it just doesn't seem quite right for me and even the color choice bothers me now. I need to give it a moment to rest or just give up on it completely. I'm sure you'll let me know which I should do (or ignore this post completely like everyone does with longer text posts on this site)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Besides my so many on going art WIPs (that's Work In Progress), my personal life has also been quite full of things going on all at once with no really time to be concluded. This leaves yours trully in a deep puddle of anxiety and hormones don't help the deal a single bit. I'm sure on next week's update I'll have something to say about that latter part.
Anyway, I'll leave y'all to it. Let me know if you enjoy this sort of post or if I should just send these into draft limbo.

30 VIII 2023
aight it's been a while, time for an update
recently I've been doing mostly algebraic geometry, my advisor gave me some stuff to read, so I'm working through that. the goal is to familiarize myself with hilbert schemes – the topic is advanced, so there are many prerequisites coming up when I'm trying to read the book, that's kinda annoying
we are planning for my thesis to be about a certain generalization of the hilbert scheme, so basically the question is "investigate this space" and I've been having second thoughts whether I'm up for the challenge. I'm just getting to know how all that stuff works, so it's quite overwhelming to see how much I need to learn before I can do anything on my own
nevertheless, I'm pushing through as I will have to learn all of that anyway
I am working on finishing the proof from my bsc thesis and honestly I'm kinda losing hope lmao it turns out that what I probably have to do to complete it is a massive amount of extra reading and an even bigger amount of proving lemmas. the thing is that my work is about something like a generalization of results that have been proven by two people (one of which is khovanov, yes, that khovanov) and I feel it in my balls that the case I'm working on should be treated in a similar way. now the problem is that I can barely understand what they wrote for the "easier" case and I just can't see myself doing that for the more complicated one. oh and for my case I should probably use equivariant cohomology. but all I know about it is the definition, I have never even calculated anything for that + I will do a course on it this semester so it feels futile to study it now. idk I need to talk to my former advisor about this and ask him to be honest, does he even believe that this can be done?
other than that I'm applying for a scholarship. I don't think I will get it, but it is worth trying
I moved in with my boyfriend and our cat decided that my desk is way too big for one person, so now it's our desk
Tumblr media
uni starts in a month so I should probably spend that time doing something other than math, which I will be doing all the time once uni starts, but I struggle with coming up with things to do that are not math-related. I should complete some tasks for work, but I would also like to have a hobby
there is a number of things that I could try, for instance reading, drawing, singing, grinding metas for geoguessr (apparently I'm a gamer now), but I can't commit to any of those, my interest comes in waves
maybe I could schedule about an hour per day to do one of those things so that my brain gets used to it. it is not like I can focus on math 24/7, I need to take breaks and I have days when my motivation is zero, so I just sit at my desk and watch stupid shit on youtube. but that's the point, days like that could be spent doing something meaningful and refreshing, instead I just procrastinate math lol

How Not To Do A Podcast
Don't have a web site: You don't really need one is this day and age. People find your podcast on Spotify, or on Apple Podcasts, or on YouTube. If you put your episodes up on YouTube, don't need hosting or a domain or a home page!
Don't link to the RSS Feed: If you do have a web site, you can just not bother with a public RSS feed. People on Apple podcasts get your episodes from Apple. If you want to post the episodes to your Web site, just embed the mp3a in blog posts! Don't give the hoi polloi access to the RSS feed, or they might steal your content, or worse, drive up hosting costs by downloading all the mp3s at once!
Don't bother with show notes: Show notes limit your reach. They don't show up the same on YouTube and Spotify, and you can't embed images in a pinned comment. Even worse, show notes lead people away from your podcast or the app. Alternatively, treat show notes as required reading. If you must have them, this is the way to get the most out of your show notes. Refer to the show notes all the time, and tell our audience to just read or listen to the linked stuff. Don't bother excerpting or paraphrasing things from elsewhere on the Internet. People are on a PC, they can click on links! In the show notes, don't bother adding context either. When your listeners have listened to the episode, they will know what the links mean.
Talk about your editing process and audio setup: Did you just buy a new mic? Are you recording on your laptop microphone in a hotel room? Don't just apologise for the audio quality, tell your listeners that normally you would record on the same hardware that NPR uses for This American Life. Talk about how you bought a new Mac Studio Ultra with 128 GB of RAM for editing the pauses out, and that time you had to interrupt the interview because your guest opened the door to accept a package delivery.
Keep introductions to a minimum: Your listeners have listened to the previous 500 episodes in chronological order, so they know what your podcast is about and who is hosting it. Don't start your podcast episodes with the name of the podcast, or introductions where every host says "Hello, I am Alice" "And I am Bob. This is the Alice and Bob send cryptic messages podcast. Today we're going to discuss PGP." This stuff is lame. Just say "Hi, here we are again, how has your last week been?" or "We're back! Sooo..."
If you really have to introduce multiple speakers, just have one host name everybody. Instead of repeating what the podcast is and who is doing it every time, start the episode with frequently updated information like upcoming meet-ups, listener feedback about the episode before last, how to reach you on twitter, your new mastodon instance, and current Patreon goals.
Use .mp3, .aac, or .wma: As long as the bit rate is high enough, people won't notice. Your goal is to reach as many people as possible, so an old file format like WMA is the best. For audiophiles, also have a feed in FLAC format. In the past, 250MB episodes would have been annoying, but everybody listens on YouTube and Spotify anyway (they do the transcoding for you). If they don't, maybe the 250MB per hour will make them reconsider.
Episodes should least at least 80 minutes long: Sometimes time flies, sometimes you need a lot of time to get to the point. People love to listen to the Joe Rogan Experience, which is sometimes 3 hours long. If your guests have more to say, don't record a bonus episode, just ask yourself: What would Rogan do?
Chapter marks work against you: Chapter marks let listeners skip past the ads, but they also let them skip past the part where you announce the next listener meet-up, the new URL of the t-shirt store, and ways to contact you. It is of vital importance that in five years, people who listen to your podcast will be familiarised with the old twitter handle you used to have, the old coupon code for RAID: Shadow Legends that doesn't work any more, and the listener meet-up in downtown Mariupol.
Frequently upgrade your web site: Like I said, it's usually not worth having a web site. But if you do, you need to
keep it fresh.
To do this, you should frequently update the URL of your home page, the URLs of blog posts where users can listen to individual episodes in their browser, your commenting system, your domain name, and the character encoding of your transcripts.
Listeners love banter and personality: Don't read from a script, because that sounds lame and stilted. Don't even have an agenda or written notes. If you want to talk something out, do it live on air. If you talk to a co-host or a guest about the topic or the ground rules for the episode, then do that live on air, too. If you go off topic, or if you have to spend a minute googling something during an episode, if your dog barks, a host goes on a tangent or if there is a package delivery at the door, just say "we'll edit that part out" and then leave the whole thing in, or edit but leave in the bit where you say "we'll edit it out in post". That joke never gets old. Asking your co-hosts about the topic of today's episode gives your podcast personality, rich texture, and entertainment value. The key is to be your raw, unfiltered self. Anybody can read from a script, but only you can answer the door for an Amazon package.
Listeners love drama: If somebody sends you a mean tweet, don't ignore it and move on. Use it! Read out all the mean tweets on your podcast. Make them a regular feature. Ask your listeners whether they agree! They will shower you with sympathy and engagement. If you don't have enough twitter drama to go on, you can invite guests for drama: Get people from twitter onto your podcast. I know, it sounds like a threat when you have twitter beef with somebody and ask them onto your show where you can edit them and you have an audience that's on your side, but you're reasonable here. You can say "twitter is such a terrible format for this, let's hash it out somewhere more appropriate". In the best case, you win the twitter argument without actually having to record the episode. You can just say in your podcast they didn't want to debate you.
Don't record episode 0 or -1: Back in 2005, it was customary to record an "episode zero" as the first thing in your RSS feed. There was even a cool service (now defunct) that aggregated all every "episode zero" from feeds into a feed of upcoming podcasts. These days, you record a trailer for your podcast and that is inserted into feeds of other podcasts at Wondery, Tortoise Media, and Serial Productions. It's passé to have a 15 minute introduction to an upcoming podcast.
Similarly, it used to be customary to record one or more "negative" episodes where you just check out your recording equipment and get used to the process, figure out which segments and interview formats work. You're a professional though. You don't need to get used to hearing your own voice.
You can go the extra mile and scrub everything but the latest 5 episodes from the feed.

2022年11月30日
The end of the year is looming, and with preparations for Christmas and the New Year comes thoughts of the JLPT for many. Good luck if you are taking it this year! I won't be taking it, but I am definitely already thinking about my goals for next year. This will be my last regular monthly update, as next month I will review my progress over this past year and talk about my goals for the next year! Let me know how you are doing with your goal progress too!
Tumblr media
My Goals at the Beginning of the Month
Spend at least 10 minutes per day studying Japanese
Reading practice daily (articles, manga, books)
Review 5 kanji a day
Active listening practice once a day
How I Studied This Month
Spent at least 10 minutes studying Japanese almost every day 〇
Read (article, manga, book) once a day 〇
Reviewed 5 kanji about once a week or so ✕
Actively listened to the news, a movie, or kids' shows every day 〇
〇 = completed, △ = partially completed, ✕ = did not complete
Primary Study Tools/Methods
Articles (NHK News Easy)
Manga (月刊少女野崎くん・Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, おじさまと猫・A Man and His Cat)
Books (コンビニ人間・Convenience Store Woman)
Children's shows (いないいないばあっ!・おかあさんといっしょ・アンパンマン・ギョふんでサカナ★スター)
Netflix children's shows in Japanese
What Were My Strengths?
Reading - I was able to read short articles daily, and manga or books when I had a little extra time
Listening - I can fairly easily pick up the dialogue in the children's shows, although it does help that I watch the same shows over and over again (love that repetition), and I even learn stuff (animal names, various phrases, etc.)!
What Were My Weaknesses?
Kanji - I have been slacking off on my kanji -practice during the second half of the year so I'll need to find a way to reintegrate it into my daily study habits. I used to do flashcards daily, but I'd like to try to increase the number of new kanji I'm learning too
Writing - I haven't been writing much in Japanese either, and although it wasn't a goal, I find that the lack of practice shows
Other Study Methods I'd Like to Try
Writing Practice - I do occasionally write on tumblr, but I'd like to write more often, and if possible get it corrected
Workbook - I love using the 総まとめ (Sou-matome) series workbooks (vocabulary, grammar, kanji, listening) but I don't have much time to pull them out and sit down to work on them, but I'd like to do more workbook study if I can
Grammar - I enjoy the short grammar videos from 日本語の森 (Nihongo no Mori) and I would like to get back into watching these videos a few times a week (and taking notes)
Keigo - I'd like to work on learning formal Japanese better, to improve my speaking ability when in conversational situations
I always say that the most important thing to improve your Japanese (or any language or skill for that matter) is to practice daily. I think that having daily conversations at home in Japanese helps me a lot, but the extra effort I put into continuously studying and trying to stretch myself and learn more really does pay off. When I use a new vocabulary word that I've taken the time to internalize in front of a group of people, they don't even notice the huge accomplishment it is for me, but I feel quite proud of myself when I can seamlessly communicate with native speakers for a majority of the time. When I learn something new about an animal and can communicate it to my son in Japanese, I feel excited about learning new things. When I can read and understand a whole sentence without looking up a single kanji or word (even if I'm guessing at some of the meanings), I feel quite pleased with myself.
Taking a look back at the time and effort I put in to my studies, I think that these small wins should be great sources of pride (for myself and for you too!). What are the things that you notice about your own Japanese progress?

The Last Hundred
The most frequent question asked after completing Race Around Java was: what's next?
My answers vary. To some, it's "I'm not sure, let's see." To others, "whatever possible on the horizon." At times, "maybe Bentang Jawa".
Truth be told, the honest answer is: I don't know. I haven't given it much thought about what I should do next if it refers to races. I always think that formal events are just "jobs". The true work is in the act of cycling, whichever form it assumes, not just during competition but in the daily and the mundane. And like anything human, this one is also a work in progress.
There are some merits in asking yourself what should come next. It gives you goals and motivation to keep doing what you do, to keep improving. Sure, there are many things I want to accomplish with my bike. Some are events, others personal projects. But fundamentally, what comes next is always to keep riding. It's so that I'm ready for any adventure coming my way, whatever that is.
That being said, I don't deny myself the pleasure of metrics. I love to see numbers. For a while now, I have embraced my competitive impulses. I want to improve, getting stronger and faster. I like having goals. But I also want it to mean something. I want this to be chill, no pressure. I want to be immersed in the experience so that I could reflect deeply and tell stories. I want to inspire.
So in the spirit of the search for this delicate balance, I'm going to do something I call "The Last Hundred". I will ride every day for the last 100 days of the year, starting on September 23 and ending on December 31. Like the "There's Ride in Pride" challenge I give myself every June, there won't be any required distance, elevation, or duration to a ride. As long as I go out riding bikes, it counts.
I will be sharing updates of the rides here, on my Instagram, or Strava. Each day I will focus on something to reflect, it's like having a journal prompt. I want to be more mindful when riding my bike, pay more attention to my surrounding and the moments during the ride.
This challenge was actually inspired by Lael Wilcox's Ride Around the World. Every day since May, Lael has been riding her bike, averaging 250km per day, and on September 2 she just completed day 100. How awesome is that, riding your bike every day for 100 days, let alone for 250km each day! I know that it's not possible for me to do that, but the idea of completing a ride of any size every single day for 100 days is something I'm so drawn into. Time and time again, one's adventure is someone else's reason for having one for their own.
I'm excited!

Sooo, its like, the 27th and I am pretty sure I haven't posted shit this month....
Welll fuck....
So, here is going to be my some what fastly typed update in what has been or hasn't been happening in my life. Since the last time that I had post I have still been dealing with work, trying to live my life all and of that. Thought in that time I have been able to finish 3 video games. Crisis Core from Finial Fantany 7, Over all pretty good, a lot like what I expected but I think I also played the game to its half way point back when I had the PSV so not shocked, however I did have to look up where some of the magical powers could be unlocked because some of the bosses where a bitch with my first set up. Then again, I didn't upgrade any of my magic til like the middle of the game and then just used those same ones to force my way to the end. Brutal Legends I have mixxed feeling about this game in general, while its not bad, I feel like it got marketed as one thing and then randomly changed the whole battle system after that. I just know it was a Metal based game that looked like it was a fighter (Main art was a dude with a battle axe in the air what was I expected to think it was), but about half way changed into a battle tactic game with some really bad controls. Assassin Creed Mirage How to talk about this one is a bit odd, as this game feels like a meeting point of a few good ideas that just happened to work really well. I like that the game returned a little bit to a more stealth like system, even thought I had to train myself to stop trying to fight everything, that the older games had. But you can still see that it was build very much around the systems that where in place for the Viking game. Plot was pretty damn weak, as even when I was paying attention I have no idea what the main character was trying to do by killing all of the people that he did. But the moment to moment game play was pretty good, thought controls for parkor, while I lot better because we in a city again, are always a little odd. Other wise in goals, well as you can see I am typing this out now so kind of in point with writing for now. As long as I can come up with something to talk about in the next four days. Reading been a bit odd, I did lower the number of books that I want to read per year down to 15, as that is still more then one a month. Mostly because right now I don't really have any serices that has like a 30 book back log that I need to work thought. Trying to enjoy the disworld books instead of speed listening the whole time. Thought this month has been a little odd in trying to get things done. Drucula Daily ends soon, and if it wasnt' for the format pausing for like a week would likely be finished. The newest Percy Jackson book is about 50% done, thought I haven't really been forcing my self to listen to it a lot. And there is another book that I kind of started, but I read so little of it that I will not even list it.
Good news in reading is that I have a car trip tomorrow so I will likly get Percy Jackson done then. So books will be done, I have finished more video games this year then how many a bought and as long as I can keep up the writing I should be good this year. Small joys!

This week's take-aways from the Office Hours Discord session. I'm sure I forgot/missed some. Please help fill in the details if you can. TY.
I've been doing these for 2 months now so I have some perspective about how goals and practices seem to have evolved in that time and I'll add a brief note about those observations at the end.
Disclaimer: I am not associated with Midjourney, Discord, or this FB group in any official capacity. I do this because many people can't attend the weekly Office Hours via Discord on Wednesdays at noon Pacific. You can find listen to them on the MJ Discord server in the voice channel called "Main Stage".
You're welcome.
1. Wider aspect ratios are available 1:1 - 2:1 and everything in between like 16:9.
2. Every time there is an update it will change the aesthetics to some degree. The more specific your prompts the less they will be affected by small changes in the aesthetic style.
3. NIJI is getting an update soon to fix bugs
4. At this point team is leaning towards conserving energy and pushing towards the v5 model. v4 is not as sharp as it should be and they can’t figure out why but v5 doesn’t have that problem so it makes sense to focus on v5.
Initial images for v5 look really good but they don't know yet how well it will hold up or what fixes might be necessary. They expect testing to be 3-6 weeks.
The images coming out of v5 look so much better and have such higher resolution that he's confident that most people will be happy with them without upscaling.
They are planning to include upscaling but it gets very expensive once the images are already that high rez. He thinks upscaling may only be needed in the case of printing large images. He did not get specific about DPI or anything like that but he seemed very excited about v5 image quality.
v5 will not be the version that improves text generation (text within an image like a title or a logo) we will possibly see that in v6.
v5 will have much better hand generation. It still won’t be perfect but you should notice a huge difference. They expect hands and bodies to improve with every version.
5. Better language stuff (in terms of MJ understanding your text prompt) will probably come in v6. A better knowledge base overall will probably be v7.
Focus now is in turning out one major feature or improvement per update instead of trying cram a bunch of features into one massive update.
6. Working on a new rating system. The launch party for v5 will be an online rating party. You will all be invited whenever it happens.
7. They are continuing to work out how to adjust payment tiers. he mentioned a lot of idea but it seemed very stream of consciousness. His main goals are to improve the $10.00 tier and to somehow create a free tier that doesn't bankrupt the company.
He also mentioned that the only reason they can afford the GPUs to train v5 is because of people paying at the $30.00 and $60.00 tiers so he's very thankful that so many are doing so, and making it possible for him to do this work.
8. Magazine is coming. Don’t worry they won’t randomly send it to you. You have to ask for it. First one is free. You will get a DM asking if you want it once it is ready to ship.
9. They are thinking about planning a souped up daily theme. He did not elaborate but I like soup.
10. They are getting a lot more AI people hired "which is great". They are playing with some real -time stuff (artist's tools). Inpainting and outpainting are still very much on the board.
11. Still working on search functions but it will be fast once we get it.
12. Still need LOTS more front-end people. Send an email to careers @ Midjourney.com
13. He is thinking about an API for individuals but not one designed for corporate professional use.
14. "AI images are like flowers and the users are like bees the flowers are trying to attract with their beauty"
Here's my take-away from 2 months worth of take-aways.
A. The goal posts are more concrete and (to me) seem more realistic. back in December he was talking about having a new update every month and expressed optimism that v5 would be released before the end of December.
I'm actually comforted by these more conservative projections for when updates will happen and what they will contain. It bodes better for the company as a whole imo. Things take time.
2. There is a commitment to customer service and building the community and the main obstacle to improving those areas is the sheer scale involved. David mentioned today that they are specifically choosing not to market MJ because he doesn't think they could handle the influx.
They really want to provide a free tier, community resources, and a better user experience overall but the fact that there are over 10 million of us complicates how to do that.

Every time I log into Word Collect cheats Coins and Golden Tickets every hour or so, it always gives me pop-up window of things I can buy, such as Coins and Golden Tickets or power, I like this game and don't get wrong ideas, but every time I lose or anything I have to pay a lot to get a second chance, when you run out of Coins and Golden Tickets, the only way to get them to pay Coins and Golden Tickets quickly, but I hope it's if you have it You can play mini games instead of buying Coins and Golden Tickets, if there are games like those brick games or word games or something, so I don't have to pay too much, now there should still be some game passes, but not so much, until it is more to pay to win, it will be more interesting if there are more mini games because of other wisdom, which is on almost all game phones Other small games, these puzzle games have a small background, some dialogue and custom room. If it's like any other games, then it will be through people looking for a new game, because it's like other mobile games, but it's not a great game, but people just don't know it. I say this because I really want to create a character. If you can, you can add different shirts. In addition to my ideas, this game is very good. It's definitely one of my favorite games, but the small inconsistencies annoy me. I still like the game. I love this Word Collect hack. My mother showed it to me. After I asked my name five times, she finally told me that I found the game. She was so absorbed in the game that she waited a long time to tell me so that I could get it too, because she was in a puzzle. But, yes, the game is so cute and well made! You can really see that it puts a lot of work into it - not only in games, but in animation, as well as art. Then, all the Coins and Golden Tickets took off - it was very satisfying. Cats are lovely. I like the choice of furniture and clothes. It's completely free, except for some clothes and things that are unnecessary for the game. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes puzzle games, is on road travel it will make you happy all the way , or just bored. Especially when you like kittens. Not only that, it's very calm and pleasant. Search this site. I still like the game I love this Word Collect hack. Overall, the game is addictive. Report abuse. Page details. Page updated. I recently looked at your page more I guess because I wasn't here back when you were actively writing this per say, and I honestly just feel the need to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you put up with so much hate and abuse. Writing is a choice, it's your choice and you writing is amazing. I recently asked if you might continue not now (I don't know if you'll see this message or that) and I'm so sorry if it causes pressure or bad feelings. I'd love to see more but respect either way. Best wishes!
Hello! I just saw these, I can’t believe I saw them so soon LOL. I log into here like once a year maximum but I was feeling extra tomark-y tonight and Grace ( @gotrigboy ) won’t fucking talk to me LMFAO. What a fucking awesome surprise!
Incoming ramble because I will also use this ask to just send a general update lmao!!
I am so so fucking glad that you love my story, and thank you so much for these messages. I was so young when I wrote it and it was during the worst year of my life (yes, even 8 years later, it was still the worst). Honestly, the hate and whatnot isn’t a big deal to me anymore—I was (and some would say I still am ;)) pretty fucking cocky, miserable, and I did end a wonderful story with no explanation. I understand why people were upset. I could write the world’s longest love letter to Not Now, and what it meant to me. What it STILL means to me. I’ve made lifelong friends from a joke I made at 13. I’m only filled with gratitude and love.
Don’t worry about the pressure, when people express interest it honestly inspires me. I would love nothing more than to get back to writing fic. I do have some chapters of Not Now uploaded to ao3—which are here—and as you may be able to tell by “Original”, I have been planning to rewrite Not Now for a long time (also, forgot to keep uploading to ao3, maybe I’ll get to that...). One of the many reasons I stopped writing was because I am overwhelmed by my own plot holes LMFAO. Were I to continue where I am right now there would be SO MUCH that I would have to clean up/add in the following chapters in order to get to a semi-rational ending. Sci-fi is hard, guys, especially when it takes place in the “real world”. I dug many holes that I can’t remember how to fill anymore. If/When I rewrite it, most things will remain the same. The only sacrifices made will be to improve on the general writing (the first few chapters aren’t great) and to eradicate plot holes. I want this thing to be fucking water tight because it’s my baby. Don’t get your hopes up, though. I have no timeline.
HOWEVER, THE ONLY WAY TO ENSURE THAT I FINISH NOT NOW IS TO FULLY FUND GRACE’S TOP SURGERY FUND—WHEN GRACE REACHES THEIR GOAL, I WILL FINISH NOT NOW, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. IT’S A DEAL I MADE WITH THE DEVIL... AKA GRACE.
Also, somewhat good news is I’m writing tomark again. Not Not Now, something kinda different and basic, but it’s a little side project I’m working. When I upload the fic to ao3, it will be under the same account (notnow). I hope I can finish the first chapter soon. I’m spending a lot of time laying the groundwork—mentally—so it’s taking me a while. No sci-fi this time. I started writing it on my twitter, but I have changed it since. I will also try to remember to upload a link here, but I don’t think anyone really knows about this blog (or tomark) anymore :(.
But honestly, I love writing so much. It’s the only thing that feels natural to me. Yet I am also a self-hating bastard—Mark always was the easiest to write—so your messages do mean a lot to me. I probably wouldn’t ever come back to this account—and likely try to forget Not Now altogether—if I didn’t have people like you dropping in every once-in-a-while to remind me that my story was more than just the embarrassing byproduct of a 15-year-olds’ descent into depression. Was that a mouthful? I can’t tell. This is a long ass response and I’m sorry. But thank you. Thank you. Not Now feels like the only good I’ve put into the world sometimes, it’s nice to know that it’s not lost to time.
Okay, I am trying to avoid rambling further! Don’t be afraid to follow me on twitter—it’s a pretty shitty twitter and I’m turning out to be a pretty shitty person but it’s the only place you’ll find me online nowadays. Now, that should be everything, I think I’ve said what I was meaning to! I love you all so much!

Must Know Tips On Choosing A Web Design Firm
Tumblr media
One of the primary tasks, once you want to place together a good website for your business, is to search out a good web design company. Because of the web , we now have the flexibility to communicate easily and work with people from everywhere around the globe.
It's tempting to outsource work to freelancers and firms who advertise their services on the web because it's often cheaper than hiring a local professional or company. If you're taking that route to find your web designer, you're likely to regret that decision sooner or later.
There are loads of web design companies to decide on from. Trying to work out which one is that the right suit for your business is often a frightening task. After all, your website goes to be the primary impression that a lot of prospective customers will have. it'll be the face of your business, and in many situations, it's the simplest lead generator that you simply have. Your site is going to be a driving factor behind whether or not people prefer to do business with you or your competitor.
That’s why it’s so important to decide on a web design company which will assist you reach your audience . They'll also assist you achieve your business goals, and ultimately help your business grow to a succeeding level. There are some important factors to think about when choosing which web design firm is best as per your needs.
Tumblr media
Your Ideas-
You’re an expert in your industry. As such, you recognize what you’re selling, and you have got some idea of how you would like to present your business/product to them. Nobody knows your business better than you do . If a web design company doesn’t hear your ideas or isn’t open-minded enough to visualize the way to sell , then you most likely shouldn’t work with them. Your marketing Company must be able to perfect your ideas, improve upon them, and put them into action.
Responsive Web Design-
Responsive web design isn't a fad and it isn’t going anywhere. It's simply the most effective way to design a web site lately. While there are some cases where a separate mobile site may need some advantages, responsive web design is usually the preferred solution. As mobile usage continues to grow Business, you would like to make sure your business website is optimized for each device. If a web design Company isn’t well-versed in responsive design or suggests a separate mobile friendly website is usually better, then they haven’t fixed with the times and possibly aren’t the correct suitable you or anyone else for that matter. The right digital marketing company will make it happen.
Tumblr media
Hosting-
Should you host along with your web design firm. Yes, if you are feeling comfortable along with your web design firm. Having your site on their servers will be a plus in that they know those servers and can quickly assist on your behalf should a problem arise. If you like to host on your own then I'd find a reputable host to place your site on. make certain to run the hosting specs by your web design firm before signing up. make sure to not associate with very cheap cost solutions. Oftentimes you get what you obtain. If you're getting to have an Ecommerce website you may want to hunt the advice of your web design firm before acquiring hosting.
Latest Design Trends-
Web design has to continue with the most recent technology and modern design trends. Customers are much more likely to trust a business if their website looks fresh, modern, and constantly updated. High-grade design companies incorporate what’s New into their websites. a web designer needs to be aware of flat design, responsive design, parallax scrolling and other styles and elements. Of course, that doesn’t mean they should just push all the latest fads. There has to be a balance between what’s modern and what’s proven. a web site needs to do over just look fresh and pretty, it's to convert.
Establish Your Goals-
The best web design companies don't stop once the web site is built and launched, it’s where things really start up. In fact, if your web design company quits there, it’s an enormous sign that they aren’t the proper fit for you. Great web designers and marketing agencies establish goals, measure their progress, and continuously improve upon their work. In today’s world, the instant your website sits static is that the moment you lose business and your competitor gains business.

My head has been full of music...
"Get in the bed and try to love someone"
He says pit.
But i do bed... It so much to me and makes me happy. Try.
It don't matter if i fail. I have a whole video in my head... Tree shot it... Bed full of us in clothes... Turns into a boxing ring. Tree should post it. For Chandler and all my children. It was 2008. I had amnesia. So many people loved me and were there for me after i wanted to kill myself. Because i had failed at the best parts of life and became normal.
Try. Try. Just Try. Don't have to be good at it. Give it a good start.
Just try. That was all i had to do. Try.
Just be in the bed and use that old heart.
No sex. No cuddles. No Nothing.
Just try to be yourself and no one else. Just give it all your go. Your best to be you.
That is what Rock told me.
I was on medication but my head was clear and the medicine induced happiness due to the raising of serotonin levels.
So i remember. How i happy i felt to be given that chance to be Me. How i was wanted and expected to only be myself as best as I could be. No matter what that was.
...
So NHRA i wanted to clarify, the $2500 match from me plus the $2500 match from the NHRA is for any employee
If you gotta scrape under the couch with a few friends to gather up the initial $2500 that's fine.
If you want to give out $200 per person that walks by a camera store any where in the world*. We have Abu that can assist you, free of charge to you. Magic Tree has been dying to get in on this, so he wants to pay the Abu.
So the Abu can assist you in any way to help you give your gifts of cash from the heart. Just let us know.
Alex, NHRA. Mark will tell Saint Luches whom will make a job posting for a specially selected group of Abu that are proud, honest and need this kind of job in their life. They were hand selected by the Tree and Alex will give an email to send your needs to and it goes straight to the tree whom will update and clarify your needs and post it in the system.
The Abu will get an email of the new website and log in so check that out hopefully you were selected.
So y'all get outta the bed and try to love someone.
*lucky for you i was given the gift of the Tree of Knowledge for my 2008 graduation present from the University of New Mexico. So you don't have to look up every camara shop in the world. The Tree of Knowledge will provide a list to each area Abu and hire Abu for each camera store. So you'll need to say "Saturdays is the day i want every week so it's consistent. So people can get rumors and go every week" or you say "i want to give the most randomly. I dont want to give to people that will come by again" So, tree Will calculate the future without changes or if he knows a change will occur in a certain area he will calculate those dates. So it takes less than a millisecond and he can do the whole world in that time and then less than 3 seconds later have the jobs all posted seperate.
So you just need to tell him where, how much, who and what you feel you want.
Like if camaras are your thing and you wanna help with diapers and be a consistent dollar supplier so you do every Sunday $10 from 6 am to 8 pm but you want to really help people randomly so yoh do $200 on the dates he says will be best at the times.
If your goal is to help keep camera shops in operation, then the Abu will notify the store clerk when a customer is making purchase to notify him/her and they will then give a card to apply to the bill to buy more accessories they were going to wait go buy later. Because waiting till they come out wirh a bag is great but letting them buy more that day while they're telling themselves why they have to wait to buy that one thing they crave but had to put back on the shelf...
That helps the shop keeper and changes the day dramatically for the shopper. Then they leave will a full package and the to do list is smaller -- get behind the lens and frame a bitch.
So if you would like the tree to decide for you you can allow that. If you want to be specific about the receivers or how it's going to be done you can do that. If you want him to brainstorm for you. He can and will.
I do require you do give away by your own hands. I am not going to list and bla bla rules I just want to remind you that's one of the reasons you want to do this.
To change a face. To change a day. For a moment in time be who you are, the best you can be.
So to have the Abu do it at the fee of $60 per hour the tree pays as i am under the deep hit man kill number and aren't paying all CIA Abu for extra events. The Tree has agreed to pay for Super Special Events in 2008. This falls under Chandler's Love Rule of never too much love in the world. So there's never too much money either.
It's additional impact of the gift of cash and love to have the Abu earn such a high amount to make people smile.
But its to impact the heart of each NHRA employee.
Steven Torrence. Greg Anderson. A few others already had heart attacks for lack of love.
Jason Line, Mark says, isn't doing to well. Hes about 9 months away from a coronary failure.
My anchors. They aren't only strong and wise. They also need love, too.
That's why I still have them in my Instagram news feed.. Some i could unfollow but others. I just couldn't. They needed love, too. For me it was evident.
So they most need to hand deliver gifts every work weekend.
The angry. The violent. Even if it's just $50 per person on The plane you have the airline attendant pass out with drinks. You will see and hear and feel the change within that plane. And its random but also slightly guided by God. Some greedy will miss their flight just because Jason Line was handing out $300 per person on a flight just to hear a smile in his heart.
And with the match there is plenty of money.
....
And any celebrity or rich person can join in a pledge of a lump sum to be divided. The $2500 or more is you to you. If they want to do a certain way or cause they can join in one already created or suggest to someone who hasn't yet figured out a way to do it or wants a change from the usual way they're using the Abu.
One of my kids, Jamamima, (jah-my-mah -- the a is a short a vowel sound. More like uh. Juh-my-muh would be better if you don't know the long and short vowels) posted the email to the tree so this way you can ask to join in. And if someone is brainstorming, the Tree of Knowledge can add your idea to someone He feels is a match to.
You can remain anonymous if you wish. Or let only the people you're working with (including the Abu) know who you are. Or let every One know. Or all the above according to Your level.
So email if you want the cards printed a certain way because that will change who you will pair with. If you want to have a photo background of the enablers of the free people in the world to not Rob banks then it changes who you will work with. Especially if you want a series of dinner photos and sight seeing photos.
What kind of cause you want. Schools. Children so near toy stores or museums or other child advertised places. Moms. Dads. Fire fighters. Hospitals. Lots of things can be bought online in a hospital. Now days if they're tired of hospital food, they can call up uber eats on a Visa gift card.
The particular style of gift giving you want. Every holiday a hospital in your favorite city. Or every 3rd Tuesday all children's hospitals in The world.
Or tree or NHRA employee choice.
How's it looking, now, Chandler?

Do Progressive Web Apps (PWA) 📳 Improve SEO? 🔎 [Analysis]
Tumblr media
Last Updated - 2019-04-18
Progressive web applications are popular with the search engine optimization crowd because they offer great promise for online marketing.
But how are PWAs good for SEO?
I and my business are firmly planted in developing progressive web apps and helping business succeed online through organic search marketing.
This gives me unique advantages sharing how the two relate and don't relate.
Like anything in web development there are a lot of misconceptions floating around that cause confusion for developers and stakeholders. I want this article to set the record straight, so no one makes mistakes that cost their business customers.
Much of the confusion focuses on the assumption that progressive web apps are single page apps (SPAs) or rendered in the browser using heavy JavaScript frameworks.. This is not true and you should read my article if you want more details about how they differ.
SPAs can technically be PWAs, any site can be a PWA. The requirements to be a progressive web application boil down to 3 ingredients.
That's it!
Well sort of.
They are the 3 core requirements to be a progressive web app. Of course, there are other 'expected' PWA features, like loading fast, working offline, being platform integrated, etc.
I think many in the SEO and development worlds have confused progressive web applications with single page applications because Google published an article about PWA SEO. What they were really addressing was single page apps and SEO.
The messaging in that article has scaled across both the online marketing and development worlds. So generally when I read, watch or listen to anything related to PWAs and SEO the message quickly changes from that topic to the topic of JavaScript and SEO.
They are not the same thing!
In that article the Google Search team really talked a lot about web page best practices and addressed many issues single page applications have as it relates to search.
Historically, websites would always generate or render their HTML on the server which is the simplest way to ensure your content is directly linkable. Web applications popularized the concept of client-side rendering in which content is updated dynamically on the page as the users navigates without requiring the page to be reloaded.
See, the Google Webmaster blog starts off assuming you will render your pages on the client, not the server. Nothing about a PWA requires client-side rendering.
In fact I recommend websites render as much on the server, ahead of time, as a static web page. Then either rendering on demand server-side as much as possible and leave the last bit for client-side rendering.
Unless you are developing a business application there is little to no reason you should need heavy JavaScript to render content in the browser.
When it comes to pages that need to be indexed and ranked by Google this means almost 100% of the page should be pre-rendered on the server. Google likes this because it can consume the content and score the page for search results.
Too much JavaScript and they put the page on a queue and will get around to it if they have time, later. Sort of like a teenager doing their homework.
Progressive Web Applications And SEO
So back to how PWAs relate to search engine optimization. Can a progressive web app improve SEO?
Well they don't really.
Google's John Mueller has publicly stated this is the case.
PWAs currently don't have any advantage in Google Search (and as far as I know, there are no plans to change this).
Before you give up and stop your service worker development, lets see why. Plus I promise there is a reward at the end.
The hope is when you go to the trouble of creating a progressive web application you take the care to craft your website using best practices.
This is the core essence of what a progressive web application really is.
You know, the attention to detail that makes your website stand out against the competition and really makes the web a better place.
To me a progressive web application applies SEO best practices by design. They are naturally better websites that consumers want to visit.
These are just places to start. Read my SEO Tips article for more best practices. You can also use automated tools to audit your pages for PWA compatibility and other web best practices.
When they visit your site and appreciate the user experience visitors will trust your brand and be more inclined to add the PWA to their homescreen.
But launching a PWA from the homescreen has little to do with organic search, in fact it is traffic that comes from the customer relationship, not search.
Don't get me wrong that traffic is the goal, so go get it. And you should not discount the effect direct traffic can have for your SEO.
Set your goal to leverage progressive web applications to engage your organic visitors and push through your sales funnel to a more engaging point.
Nurture that relationship so you get more and more traffic directly and a good progressive web application is the best way to do that.
You just have to do it right.
Now that I have defined PWAs let me take a moment to clarify what search engine optimization is and is not.
Defining Search Engine Optimization
SEO is about optimizing your website and web pages for better human and search engine consumption. This means you take the time to make sure site is technical sound and your on-page copy and content communicates well to your visitors.
The goal is two fold, earning better search rankings and engaging visitors.
Some will tell you it is about link building, and while that is important it is not SEO per se. Linking building is important if you want your pages to rank well in Google, Bing and other search engines. But the technical health and the content on your site are what really set you apart.
I see lots of sites on page 2-10 in the search results that have more links than the page 1 results. I also see pages with fewer links out rank others on page 1. Over time the pages with the best content for the user's search intent bubble to top of the rankings.
Progressive web applications won’t help you write better copy or use better photos, but a proper PWA has a strong technical SEO profile.
SEO Technical Best Practices for a Progressive Web App
Let me circle back to the Google Webmaster article on building indexable PWAs. The article highlights a series of do's and don'ts. Let me summarize some of the important points.
Search Engine Optimization Experts Like PWAs
SapientRazorfish's Ryan Jones says that progressive web apps are still young and offer to offer lots of opportunities for online marketing. In particular he cites them as being a mobile first approach, which matches up with Google's mobile first initiative.
Mobile! Things like AMP and PWAs are still very young and offer lots of opportunity...
Cindy Krum the CEO of MobileMoxie was real excited about progressive web applications. She recognizes that progressive web apps operate just like regular native applications and highlights the fact that both android and Microsoft are elevating progressive web apps to equal level of native applications.
Mobile SEO in 2018 is going to be all about Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). Google has begun to treat PWAs just like normal apps in their Android OS...
She also notes that fewer and fewer people are searching for native applications in the app store's. And just like I recently posted, she also acknowledged the fact that Apple is starting to reject more apps and cleaning their app store while recommending that many businesses ship progressive web applications instead of native apps.
Cindy's observations are right on point, because progressive web applications offer great opportunities for businesses to have great search engine exposure by implementing web development and performance best practices. When websites implement these best practices to create the best user experiences, which is what Google Google is looking for when ranking search results.
If you missed it, in 2017 Apple made it clear that Safari would soon support the ServiceWorker files that make PWAs so fast, so it seems like they have flipped, and really see the benefits.
The great thing about progressive web apps is that the web is naturally great at reaching your target audiences. And when it comes down to marketing and search engine ranking it's about being able to reach the right people as efficiently as possible.
As mentioned before fewer people are seeking out native apps on mobile devices. This is because app stores have never been good at discoverability. Searching for new apps is difficult. Then the app install process has multiple steps a user must go through for they can even get to the content you are trying to promote.
Studies have shown that the average cost to acquire a new app download user ranges between 2 1/2 to $15 per app install. It becomes even worse when you consider that one in 10 app installs are never used more than once. This means acquiring a true customer can cost at least 25 $250 each.
The web is great at reaching customers quickly and efficiently. Search engines like Google and being highly optimized to provide the right answers to the questions potential customers are asking. Is still up to you to create the content and the experience that resonates the best with those potential customers. Progressive web applications give you the platform to accomplish that efficiently and effectively.
The cost to acquire a visitor to a particular webpage can be as little as a half cent and often cost no more than a nickel. Of course in some cases it could cost more and some competitive niches but generally it's only a few pennies to drive targeted traffic to your content. This gives you that initial engagement point to earn that customers respect.
If you do this well enough, that customer might then add your progressive web application to the home screen and had your brand on their desktop or mobile device all the time. This gives you a very unique opportunity to engage with them at a very deep level.
If you're trying to plan your 2018 search engine marketing strategy I hope you seriously consider upgrading your web presence to a progressive web application. Doing so should increase your ability to rank your content on the keywords you want most.
Why a Progressive Web Application Won't Help Your SEO
As a PWA practitioner I probably should not be sharing they don't affect your SEO. But from a purely technical perspective they don't help SEO. The magic is in making a great web user experience.
What many don't understand is how service workers work. They think they magically make web pages faster, they don't, especially the first time someone visits the site.
That's because a service worker has to be registered and is not active by default the first time a page is loaded. And while service workers can cache web pages and the resources required to render pages there is no benefit if they are not already cached.
When the page assets are cached before someone loads the page it does not mean the page renders fast. Too much JavaScript is too much JavaScript afterall. And time to first byte is not the main page speed factor, it is the time after the HTML document loads that really matters.
Organic search traffic is often traffic that has not visited your site yet. And if they have not already visited the target page, they most likely don't have that content cached. They may have the CSS, some images and JavaScript files cached, but they all need to be loaded, parsed, executed, etc before the page reaches the time to first interaction.
How Progressive Web Apps Help SEO
Don't give up hope yet. PWAs will improve your organic search profile.
How?
By making your user experience better than your competition. Well at least better than it was before you upgrade to a progressive web app.
Look past the three core technical requirements to be a progressive web application and focus on the intent of the movement, to deliver great user experiences.
When you deliver a great user experience people want to visit your site over competing options. When they see your brand in the results they will recall you gave them what they wanted and the experience was positive.
SEOs know click through rate influences search position. More clicks or votes by searchers for a result and over time it moves up.
But that is just one metric you can measure. All the little things you do to make your site the best create the experience that rises above the information.
This will indirectly and directly influence your serps and typically in the positive direction.
Wrapping it Up
Progressive web applications are great for SEO because they are meant to deliver the best web experiences. But like anything else, developers and marketers can mess things up.
Follow the web's best practices and you will reap the benefits of great organic search traffic. This means make your site mobile first, fast on mobile, usable on all screen sizes and has sound on page SEO.
PWAs help you build long lasting relationships with customers. That is a great reward, but you will also experience a universal lift, like organic search, because your site puts user experience first.
If you follow all these best practices then you will be successful, even if you are not targeting organic search traffic.

Another insurance that 'could' come out of the escrow payment is flood insurance.  If you live in a flood plain (I used to), then you will be required to carry flood insurance.  Flood insurance would be wrapped up into your mortgage payment, and be deposited into your escrow payment for a payment once a year.   So what's an escrow account?  Your escrow account, as mentioned above is the account that holds the money taken from your mortgage payment every month to pay for those parts of your mortgage that are NOT principal and interest.  Every year your mortgage company will evaluate your escrow account to be certain that they're collecting enough to pay for these items.  As property taxes go up (or down) based on home value, your home owners insurance should also change to cover your homes value.  If your values are going up, then the amount you need in your escrow account will also need to increase.  You will receive a letter from your escrow account every year to update you whether you have enough in your payment to cover escrow, or if you have too much in your escrow account.  If you have too much in your escrow account then you might receive a check, and new payment amount.  If you don't have enough forecasted in your account, then they will ask you to mail in a check to cover the difference, or your mortgage payment will be adjusted to cover the difference.   Mortgage Insurance vs Homeowners Insurance Mortgage insurance is different than home owners (sometimes called, Hazard) insurance.  In a nutshell, mortgage Insurance protects the lender in case you default on your loan, and homeowners insurance protects you & the lender in case something happens to the home....ie.. a fire, a tree falling on your home, a car driving into your home, burst pipes, etc.   Homeowners Insurance   Now, please remember, you do choose your insurance company!  One of the things I suggest to clients is to contact their insurance company after they make their offer and to do a couple of things...(1) Has there been any water of fire claims in the past 3-5 years on this home?, and (2) How much would the insurance be for this home?  Average homeowners insurance is about $500-$700 a year....again, it is wrapped up into your monthly mortgage payment so it is NOT another extra expense.  You do get to choose your company, and many companies will give you discounts for 'bundling' your policies...like, home, car, life, etc.  It doesn't hurt to call around for quotes.  Once you choose a company, you will want to request that your insurance agent send over an 'insurance binder' over to your lender. Property Taxes  Taxes are decided by the county, and are usually paid twice a year. You may get a copy of the tax bill, but again, it is paid by your mortgage company out of your escrow account.  I always get phone calls when these bills come out.  :-D  No worries...it is just for your records, and I encourage your phone calls!!  :-)  Please remember that 'Tax Assessed Value' is NOT market value.  Property taxes are assessed every year, but based off of sales from a year to two years prior.   Principal & Interest   Now...your principal and interest portion of your mortgage payment.  As we know a portion of your mortgage payment every month goes toward the principal amount that your borrowed to purchase your home, and a portion goes toward the interest that the lender is charging you.  In the beginning of your loan the smaller amount goes toward principal, and the larger portion goes toward interest...this eventually switches.  We all know the wisdom of making an additional payment every year on your mortgage to reduce your loan time.  Some banks will offer to take your payment in two week portions, and make your additional payment for you.  Honestly I don't advise this.....before you think I am crazy, this is the reason why....the bank actually holds your money and makes your additional payment at the end of the year.  This isn't the best way for you, really....  I always pay between $25-$100 extra on my mortgage every month depending upon our finances that month, but apply it directly towards my principal borrowed amount.  At the end of the year I have made that extra payment directly towards my principal, which is less money I can be charged interest on!  This will shorten my loan length considerably.  In the end I actually pay MORE on the principal amount than I would have if I had just made one extra payment.  My suggestion to all my clients is to take that $20 from each paycheck and put it into that credit union far away (with no debit card or checkbook for) that is for your home repairs that are needed as a homeowner.  If you just put at least $25 per month extra toward your principal loan amount you will also be shortening your loan time.  This sounds like a lot...but really is it?  It is a trip to McD's (for my family anyhow as we have 2 adults, a third grader, and either my adult son, and/or my adult daughter and her husband, and baby.), or a couple of Dutch Brothers trips a month...but it will help you in the long run immensely.   I won't lie... I love my Dutch Bros though.  :-)   So there are the 5 parts of your mortgage payment...Principal, Interest, Taxes, and Insurance...both Mortgage & Homeowners.....all tidily wrapped up into one payment every month..  Yay!  I kept it shorter this week!  :-D  It's like going to the grocery store, and only coming out with the items you went in for....ok, who am I kidding...that never happens!              Information is power, and I hope that I am able to help you.  Good luck, and as always...May the odds be ever in your favor out there....  AND If you are looking for a real estate agent, I would love to be able to help you.                                                                            As always....this is just a quick overview.... again...and I can't say this enough...please remember that your agent is NOT a salesperson, and should not be acting like one.  Real Estate is not really about houses, it is about relationships.  Your agent, and your lender work for YOU.  You drive the bus...we are merely GPS to help you get to your goals.  Like the classes, this weekly blog email is to help you with your home adventure.  The goal is to be informative and non-promotional.  :-)  We are, however, hoping you will call and want us to help with your adventure.   If you have any questions about this, or something you have heard...or if you would like me to help you with your home adventure, please call, email,  text, or facebook me anytime.  I am, as always, happy to help! Thank you again for your business and your referrals!!  ...and thank you for referring these classes to your friends, family, and co-workers.   .   ..disclaimer...if you have already purchased a home, or would no longer like to receive these emails, please let me know and I will be happy to remove you from any further mailings...   Upcoming Topics: 55 things not to do when buying a home.                                  When is a pre-approval not a pre-approval?Last Week:  Types of Realtors & Compensation...explained Have a great day, and I will talk to you soon,   ;-D   Tracie DeMars   Real Estate broker   Re/Max - Van Mall   360/ 903-3504 cell   360/ 882-3600 fax   www.traciedemars.com   [email protected]       “Interested in free and non promotional home education classes?  Go to www.learningtobuyahome.com, for local upcoming home buyer and home SELLER classes, or facebook: Tracie DeMars Real Estate for my home buyer education blog.” "Listen to the mustn'ts, child.
