i don’t know if you’ve already been asked something like this before so i’m sorry if you already have buttt do you think eddie would like spicy food? i was eating kimchi jjigae while i was reading some eddie fics and it got me thinking about if he’d like to eat any type of spicy foods lol
i’ve talked about this before, but i myself eat foods relative to my cultures and a TON of international cuisines, than say the standard burger and fries mentioned in fics (my own included, only so much we can do with indiana in the 80s lol) so i love talking about it!
i think he’d try it out, to keep up with you, but the poor boy snacks on pretzels and he lives in the midwest. i feel like tabasco alone would take him out and eating a jalapeño would have him sweating with watery eyes, Kimchi-jjigae or anything with a spice level beyond buffalo wings (and even those get him coughing) would put him in the hospital for an extended amount of time or kill him lol
but he’d ALWAYS be done to eat it if it’s something you enjoy, tries to tough it out and endure the teasing that follows.
i imagine it like he’s on a perpetual episode of the hot ones, but with spicy foods from all over the world depending on what you like and he’s always fighting for his life to hold it together.
not to mention how he’d destroy any bathroom afterwards and probably die in the process

Hot take I’m a massive tea drinker who breaks every rule. I don’t heat it to a specific temp. I don’t time it when I steep. I sweeten it (with monkfruit drops) before I taste it because no I’m not gonna taste something that was boiling three minutes ago how about YOU burn your tongue off. I don’t even much care if I steep it too long. I will mix and match whatever I feel like when I fill the steeper I’m just out here making experiments with tossing in lemon zest or a piece of ginger I don’t give a fuck. If I don’t think the tea is strong enough I grab a White Emperor (racist much) bag from the cabinet and toss it in next to the steeper. I like adding weird shit like cocoa powder or vanilla and not just to rooibos either.
I don’t even care how big the mug is I’m filling it to the brim if it’s not enough tea I’ll add more or steep it longer. I’m a fucking rebel.
I like cold brew tea just as much as hot tea. In fact, if I make hot tea and forget about it long enough to become cold, great. Now I have a cold drink. Delicious.
And you know what??????? I still think 90% of teas taste the same. I’ll still drink them but I don’t have much preference as long as it’s not green tea or peppermint because I’m very allergic to those. I mean I’m often allergic to a lot of the ingredients I sprinkle in but I mean peppermint literally melts my insides and leaves me bleeding for days but green tea turns me into an inflatable non-fun house and it hurts so bad.
But like. Yeah. I got a lot of things wrong with me, but my insistence to drinking something that I believe 90% of the time tastes basically the same??? Lmao.

so i've been working on baldur's gate 3 fandragons for... a while now. many of these ones i have (only missing gale, wyll, withers, and alfira) but you see the problem is idk if i care about them enough anymore. the dragons i've got are just sitting in hibden purgatory, ungened and unloved and... idk that i want to gene them.
every time i think 'maybe i'll just keep x' then i think i have to keep y and then z and then i'm thinking about how much i want them all and also i need these other characters. you feel me? there are so many characters in bg3 and i'm like... i don't think i want them all. i don't want to go down that rabbit hole.
anyway, i might be getting rid of these guys. i've deleted the scries and outfits from my library, but i wanted to save the images somewhere at least. for posterity. because i put so much effort into all of them. maybe that will help me let them go

#toy txt post#while i was away i began my journey into coffee snobbery. im doing my best. i have a lot to learn#i have a fancy hand grinder that all the ppl on reddit hemmedvand hawed andaid it would probably be somewhat#Acceptable for pour over coffee that I got for less than $100. i want you to understand the coffee grinder ppl are insane.#there are grinders for sale that cost like more than my car did brand new. these ppl are insane? i got a chemex pour over#and a glass stovetop gooseneck kettle cos i couldnt find an electric kettle that didnt have the metal touching the water. prolly cos it#would make them less energy efficient and defeat the purpose but i dont fuck w metal water vessels cos historically They Keep Betraying Me#by making my drinks taste like ass. i got some genetic fuckery going on ig. like the cilantro soap gene but its the metal makes water taste#like ass gene? idk. but i wanted a kettle that didnt have metal and i wanted that gooseneck pour so i found one on Amazon. surprisingly#hard to find? annoying. mostly bc every search engine is bad and kept showing me metal kettles anyway. i got a grinder i got a pour over i#got a kettle i got fancy beans from a local small business i started drinking it black. im going to unlock these flavors. i will get it#but also. im still a goblin. i put garlic powder in with the grounds and made garlic coffee. its interesting. it tastes like garlic. and#coffee. but actually the garlic is mostly an aftertaste?#so it feels very similar to drinking a cup of black coffee to accompany your garlic bread actually. the first time i made it i think it#underextracted the coffee tho. second time i extracted the coffee enough but i didnt like it as much? both times. fascinatingly#i did not get strong aromas! which was weird: i find both garlic and coffee have pretty strong scents already#i wouldve thought combining them would make it stronger? it was a little stronger while brewing the second time but smelled good to me#i find the flavor of it compelling enough that id like to try to refine it a bit more and see if i can make it good#ive come a long way since my first garlic coffee haha#(adding garlic salt to black coffee out of a keurig. dont reccomend this: garlic salt has too much salt and it overpowers everything.#could not get a garlic flavor without overpowering salt flavors. so it mostly tasted like seawater with a hint of coffee. garlic powder is#the way to go. anyway next i want to try it with a lighter roast. i was using medium roast#of a local brand that i would name for exposure but wont name lest it doxxes me haha#also want to try egg coffee sometimes? the vietnamese one. looks..intriguing. robusta beans scare me a little tho#anyway. if youre interested in interesting flavors i recc garlic coffee. it was intriguing. if i find a methodology i think tastes best#ill update yall#im also interested in other things. i want to experiment with spicy coffee. chili powder or cayenne#make the paprika dracula coffee haha#im also admittedly intrigued by butter coffee? as a flavor profile tho not for fad diet reasons.
