I love when I consume some random media that I maybe will never make fanfiction for but I still enjoyed thinking about it, and at least one of the characters has serious gender energy. (Or maybe just the gender energy part, I may not even always enjoy the media itself.) So I sort some AO3 filters for the hell of it and find a small corner of the internet where people are writing about that character and portraying them as trans. It’s such unique way of feeling seen and it’s such a good feeling???

Anyways creators who head canon characters as trans and portray them as such (and do it well) in fanwork pls never stop what you’re doing. You make me feel seen and loved and valued and validated, you make my entire day, I’m still thinking about your story for a long time afterwards, I appreciate your work more than you will ever know and more than I can possibly say in a comment.
