Calico Jack? I don't think so.. scurvy is caused by a severe vitamin-C deficiency. And sailors usually got it becuase they didn't have fruits and vegetables on the ship.. But it looks like Calico Jack has gotten shipwrecked quite a few times in his life. I imagine he's been stranded on islands for a few weeks at a time where he ate nothing but fruits, Veggies and fish. Not to mention his time in the Amazon where he likely had access to all kinds of fruits.

Natquik though? Its possible.. out in the Antarctic his diet was probably mostly fish.. although it seems that real arctic fox diets don't really demand many fruits and veggies.. Still, Natquik seems more likely to have contracted scurvy at one point then Calico Jack :(

XDD I sat on the first ask for a while because I was intending to draw something for it. But I'm realizing now that I might not ever draw it so--

What was going on in that drawing is an evil Undyne threw a spear at the group while they were passing by. Seam was struck in the head by it and was killed.. hence the blood splatter on her face. (My darkeners bleed)

BUT ITS OKAY! Through some uh... very dark methods- Frisk was able to reset to a few moments before and pull Seam out of the way. Then she got into a brawl with the evil Undyne no doubt <XD

I have, and uh, I'm not so sure about the whole "in character" thing.. or at least its not the character I imagined Fazbear Entertainment would be- <XD

It just means they're both rough and tough and their hands get beat up a lot. Kwazii gets them beat from scraping them on stuff and dealing with dangerous creatures while on missions. And Calico Jack gets them from scraping them on stuff and.. dealing with dangerous creatures while on adventures XDD

OOOO THAT'S A GOOD IDEA!! :000 I like how it creates a spin on Grillby and River. While Jevil intentionally grabbed Grillby's hand and saved him, and River was dragged along by mistake.. Frisk CHOSE to follow Jevil, it wasn't his doing at all this time. That's a really cool thing to experiment with!

XDD For receiving hugs? I'd say he's about a 11/10 sometimes, maybe a 6/10 other times. Its harder to hug him comfortably if you're significantly shorter/smaller than he is. But if ur the right size his hugs will just fix all your problems 🥺

As for giving hugs? It might be about the same. But I can see him giving them out only to people he's really close to. Otherwise a tender yet professional hand on the shoulder seems more his style.

Camilita was formely a regular adult (until her brain magically got transformed into a baby brain) by then she ''admired'' all the park staff (especially Pops) she always watch them work, celebrating parties, as such, through her window, she even has handmade plushies from the park workers, Pops is her fave and she hugged the Pops' one all the time, she was such as childish as Pops, and she always wishes Pops being her dad, sadly, she got a lot of abuse by her father

(fun fact: her father was "Hurl hurl Butt" the main surfer from the RS episode ''catch the wave'' season 5)

One night, she decided to scape from her father's house, she carried her Pops' plushie and sneaks into the park, she couldn't believe she was really in the place she always dreamed to be (even tho she lived in front of the park, her dad hit and hurt her everytime he finds her ''fanaticism'' for them by stare them through the window) proud of herself, she falls sleep into the park's bushes sobbing of happiness, the next day, she wakes up by hearing Benson and Skips' voices, she runs away smiling and sees the playground, she gets even happier and go to the swings, everything was right to the world until she gets shocked by seeing a lot of parents with babies, she gets a panic attack and run crying with her eyes closed, accidentally she falls in the old Crash Pit, but a black portal appears, where it takes her to Death's house, who gives her an opportunity only if she can spend one day babysitting Thomas, she confessed that she doesn't want to live anymore, Death tells her that it's not ''her time'' to die, so he promised to give her a surprise she would love only if she can babysit Thomas for one day, she didn't confess that she hated babies, since he is a demon she took care of him really well. After she saw how happy is to be a baby, she tells Death that she doesn't want to live if she has to live as an adult, Death keeps his promise and takes her to Infant Infinity. Corp, where people can have the age they really want, she sees all the age regressors and smiles, she meets a fox named Rody and asked him while sobbing if he can turn her to a baby, saddly he can't do that, but he can replace her adult brain into a baby one and reduce her at least 2 feet, before she gets a baby brain (which it'll make her never talk again) she begged Rody (while huggin her Pops' plushie) to make sure that she wants to be adopted by Pops, he agreed, so she cries of happiness and gets ready.

Pops was washing his car Carmenita when suddenly a mail-girl seagull named Riley delivers her in a box, Pops tought it was the supplies he bought on internet, so he didn't read the II adoption contract and signed, the seagull congrats him and leaves, he was confused and say: ''Oh my, did she just congrated me?'' he opens the box and finds Camilita there hugging her plushie, with a note from II, which says that if she doesn't get the proper care and love, she will disappear from the universe. This obviously makes him whine, hugging her and saying: ''you are quite a cute little angel, aren't you? I don't want you to disappear from this world I'll make sure you have the love you never had'' starts laughing excited ''I will be a papá like papá!'' (obviously referred to Mr. Maellard) ''which name would I put you little pie?'' he asks himself as he stared at his car ''you are a girl like Carmenita, I think I will name you Camilita, would you like it? She starts cooing with so much joy, '' I think you like it right it my little dumpling?'' he boops her nose happily Everyone sees them kinda confussed, how an adult act like a baby? All their chatterings make her cry, Mordecai and Rigby runs towards them and gets surpriced they both say at the same time: ''woaah an age regressor!'' Everyone start asking what's age regression and the duo explains it to them, everyone accept it immediately and gets excited congrating Pops, who of course tells them what happened and show them the contract of II, they all get worried about her care, Benson makes a meeting (without Pops) and planned like a ''baby shower'' where everyone (especially Mordo and Riggs) gets hyped, everything turned ok until her biolocal dad arrives to the park after all these years, the adventure just begins for our park crew!

Jacks is so so shy when expressing his feelings to his little Zorro, he never told Evangeline how beautiful she was, But.....he did it, he did it, he did it! He said it indirectly, because our boy would rather jump off a cliff than express his feelings to his little girl, he is embarrassed and that was so cute.....

okay hi I just read everything you have for the precure au and I genuinely love all of it so much

consider: minor arc where wet cat (artic fox like fairy from the mascot kingdom?) etho turns up in the human world because he exploded a contraption he made so hard he blasted off into the sky team rocket style and this somehow leads to the cures establishing some kind of connection to the mascot world (similar to what happens with the skyland portal in hirogaru sky) and it helps gem, ren, and iskall with some of their stress (lol) about the whole situation (perhaps this causes an angst arc for pearl? because now shes the only one who cant see her loved ones?)

Pathetic washed up Etho… I’ve been turning this over in my head. It’s a nice way to include a new character + establish a connection between the Hermit Kingdom and the human world bc it’s been one way so far.

Having some pre-existing mascot dynamics would be soo fun. Gem and Etho being friends and sparring. Prince Ren happily running around Bdubs. Xisuma sorting out palace affairs with a 🙂 on his face. But then everything changed when the Corporation attacked 😔

Also re: Pearl, I’ve been kind of bullshitting the villains because I’m not going to put any hermit into the role of a “true” villain, because the real villain is capitalism/corporations/art theft etc. Doc is the only one who’s kind of established, and he’s like… a retired member of the Corporation and he doesn’t gaf now and farms his tomatoes. But he still knows Pearl soo yeah. I feel bad for Pearl :(

Otakon 2023 Wrap-Up Post!

Otakon 2023 was this past weekend, and I gotta say I had a great time! (if that wasn’t obvious. From the deluge of posts about the digimon movie redubs). That was the main reason I went this year, and the screening took up a significant portion of my time there (WORTH. EVERY. MILLISECOND.), but during my one day I was able to blitz through the main halls as well. And I met @ahiddenpath ! That was AWESOME!!! She’s incredibly sweet, and we got to walk through Artist Alley together and talk (irl!!!) about Digimon, fandom, and life ☺️

My con haul!! I was like, “eh, it’s not that much” but some might beg to differ, including me, now that I look at it all together 😅 Most of it came from the Dealer’s Hall. There is one vendor who is a huge Digimon fan herself and sells a TON of amazing digi-merch, and that’s where most of my money went, ahahaha. She not only had some amazing hard-to-get figures and blind boxes (the Adv. kigurumi figures and Piedmon keychain set), but some Frontier 20th Anniversary merch as well! HOW CAN I SAY NO TO THAT??? That is a GIANT TAKUYA ACRYLIC STAND (which I would prefer to be a bit smaller), but aaah!!!! 🤩 I randomly got Sora from a blind box (💖), as well as Koji-in-pajamas (!!), and spent a little extra to get Takeru unwrapped. Unwrapped Jyou was the same price as a random blind box, because she said no one wants him and she always has extras! Can you believe it?? JYOU! 😭 Hidden and I agree that she’s not reaching enough of this audience on Tumblr, because HOW DO YOU NOT LOVE JYOU? Look at his face! He HAD to come home with me 😤

Ahem. Anyway, I found those oldschool Fox Kids-looking vinyl clings at a separate stall that sold a lot of vintage 90s stuff. Dub merch!! I do have a small collection of that.

The pencil-board… folder… thing… is two-sided and I believe it was originally an extra with a specific issue of Animedia that covered both tri and Appmon! I had to. Because APPMON (also I do love that tri art) 🥺

Some close-ups of the small stuff! The resin statue of the mountains came from Artist Alley (actually, a friend of Hidden!) because it reminds me of home. I also really liked the moon-shaped pendant. And a citrus pin! MY BRAND!! I have a shirt with Togemon on it (the cactus), but I have a hard time finding citrus merch, so YES, I can now rep my full screen name in an outfit 👍👍👍 One lone Goomy pin is my sole Pokemon purchase this year. “Hen with a Tie” cracked me up (if you’re an anime dinosaur like me, you know), and the Mimi button was actually a gift from Hidden! 😭

Finally, Takeru and Jyou side-by-side, where they belong ☺️ The contrast of their poses/expressions cracks me up!

So there you have it: the results of an intense and incredibly exciting digi-day! I’m still so shocked that my local con got this amazing premiere, and I got to watch the whole thing (er… when I wasn’t live-texting information to certain people who couldn’t be there in person, lol!). I’m SO incredibly grateful to the Discord group for notifying me about it, because otherwise I probably wouldn’t have even gone to the con at all this year!

Really hoping I can see my OG con buddy either at Otakon 2024 or her local con, so she can take a well-earned break from being a new mom and join in on the fun! 🤞🤞🤞

AHHHH REALLY!!!! I LOVEEE that film so so so much it has the BEST one liners and an amazing soundtrack.. not to mention the beautiful color palette and everything about it tbh 😍 I'm so happy you decided to watch it, Mr. Fox is a HUGE inspiration for Hoseok's character (the whistle trademark, "darling", fear of wolves...) but also JOONIE too (obession with tapes)

Me actual me doesn't much believe in the concept of soulmates BUT I feel that SI might see things this way. The probability of them not just being summoned, but being summoned backwards in time, was so low, so the chance of this all happening as it did was even slimmer. So was it not fate at work that they should meet Clayman and fall in love?
