The only time some of them seem to have any knowledge of the old kings personality is when one guy is like "this guy cunning" and another goes "smartest king around tbf" and that is IT. Saying "he's more cunning than I thought" about the guy who's basically responsible for bringing down Troy is CRAZY. Which leads me to believe that that guy doesn't actually know that this is THE Odysseus. which, again, CRAZY.

my friend texted me an invitation to a party and it said "its party time" in big fancy cursive letters but the word "party" had some loopy bits that were unclear at a glance and i thought it said

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I do kind of want Buck and Tommy to fuck it up before they manage to work it out.

Give me them hooking up but not getting back together immediately. Give me them arguing. Give me them having to put in work. Give me that absolutely unhinged looking two parter involving Tommy.

They got together pretty smoothly and apparently had no issues for six whole months, so let them be a little messy. Let them be a LOT messy, because the other couples got to be.

I was explaining this to someone earlier and I don't think I've seen enough people talk about it, but the kids getting four pearls instead of three was actually a really great writing choice. Did anything change? No. Did we all know one of them was gonna break/get lost? Yes absolutely. However, the fourth pearl wasn't about the story. It was about Poseidon. It was about him also being desperate to save the woman he loves. Watch him and Sally in ep 7 and tell me he wouldn't try his hardest to save her too?? It's such a significant insight into him that paired with the scenes we've gotten this episode, tell us so much about him and his relationship with Sally that we don't get to figure out until later in the books.
