WIP Wednesday/whenever
Thank you @gloryride for tagging me!
Ok ok I have a lot of projects in process tbf. Let's see...
First of all – my "faces of NC" series ofc, I have two ideas in mind actually.
This one based on these pics of Ian. People loved the style and truth to be told I loved it too, so why not expand this project?
Second one... It will be posters. That's all. Just you wait.
And surely I must introduce my OCs properly, I'm preparing dossiers (kinda) for them, so here's little spoiler as well:
Also I made two girls but not gonna show them yet lol
And this... This will be sceneries collection but not only that. You'll see for yourself soon.
Wanna tag (no pressure):

hey this isn’t aimed at anyone in particular but I’m saying it for the record here: if I tell you no, please stop messaging me about fundraisers and mutual aid.
I get enough messages that it’s impossible for me to keep up without devoting at least half an hour each day, when I’m not even on tumblr that long most days. Me having a boundary about this isn’t a moral failing, it’s a lifeboat for me on my own blog.
In my personal life I’m already advocating and donating literally as much as I can spare. This is not me not caring, it’s just me not willing to interact with that on the one place I go online to not interact with irl news and world events for the most part.
I cannot be upset all the time. I cannot be upset everywhere. I cannot use all my emotional and mental energy fielding my own upset from ongoing events. My options are to hold boundaries about this or stop coming online at all.
I’m all for sharing information and signal boosting to reasonable extents, but the scale of it this year is so large and so enduring that it is literally not possible to for me to participate on every account I have. I’ve previously shared links to Gaza eSIM donations and a major hub of verified Go Fund Mes here and elsewhere online. We, the online humans, know how to look those things up ourselves by now. There are many, many people choosing to do advocacy work, and right now, I can’t be one of them.
If you’re extremely upset when I tell you I can’t share/donate right now about a Gaza family or personal fundraiser you ask me to share here, just unfollow and block me. That’s what those buttons are for. Protect your own emotions and energy and get me off your feed instead of staying upset and continuing to engage with online people or content that upsets you.
Please don’t send repeated angry messages based on manufactured purity politics and moral outrage into my messages and inbox when I exercise the right to run my own blog.

Asterisks are so sexy.* I fucking love a good old asterisk. Footnotes are a goddamn revelation. Terry Pratchett really had it right when adding paragraphs in the footnotes
*do you understand how useful it is as an autistic person to be able to just footnote an entire sidetracked thought? DO YOU UNDERSTAND? I can skip a few lines, write out my whole rant or explanationg about or "oh that made me think of something else I also want to say," and then I can GO BACK and finish with my original point without losing the structure of what I'm trying to say.

Pale Blood -- now on cohost
They let me make pages, this is their fault.
I bring you more monster boyfriends with this first book (of a trilogy), it's not all about them...but they do take over often.
And, in case this story is new to you, here is information;
**The pitch(?)**
Urban Fantasy//Cyberpunk//LGBTQA+
Monsters and men live side by side in a futuristic fantasy world of magic and mayhem, aware and begrudgingly accepting of one another, with no idea their world is on the brink of collapse.
---
The link
The excerpt -- our narrator is unwell, but doing their best.
The city of Dolor reached, with all its metal fingers, for the bright hot eyes that warmed it. Eyes too weary, too ancient, to worry of the lives that scurried under their gaze. But those lives worried of them and of the grand and terrifying wyrm that bore them.
Or they should have.
On the whole, those desperate to avoid the wyrm’s glare were the ones to take note of its sinewy, slithering sky long enough to be concerned.
And it is one such desperate soul that our tale begins with.
Well...half of such a soul—though fully desperate—as through no fault of his own he was born an abomination. Half bloodsucking fang, half man, and entirely too tired to care which one had decided to make him their doormat on any given evening.
But we jump ahead. Let us roll back a step or two, explain a bit.
Delmas Olren was famous once, beloved even—if the rampant infatuation born of complete separation from reality that his fans possessed could be deemed love. Larger than life he towered over all others, projected in brilliant, flickering holographic clarity for those in the lofty heights of Upper Dolor to witness. And what granted such fame, such fortune, such privileged status in the glittering haven of those towers? A simple sport, if a brutal one.
This book is in revision and will get that revision when I finish with the big dark monster fantasy and the other monster boyfriend book. But I love this world, and these characters, so it's getting a page until I can get back to it.
->more art under the cut, to prove it's not all these two (and also that it kind of is because I have a problem)<-

god i love glass onion so much and everything about it. major spoilers ahead.
like let's talk about the characters. i love that they're all pieces of shit. interesting, well-written, clear pieces of shit. they are even called shitheads. and like. the "disruptors" are all clearly painted as self-serving rich bitches (haha get it?) who only care about money and their public image and are willing to stab (or shoot) people in the back for it, but even some of the side characters are morally gray.
whiskey, for example? no, she isn't as alt-right as duke nor isshe as misogynistic, but she still went along with it in his streams and helped duke. and the reason she was dating him in the first place was for her own money and public image. sure, not as bad as duke or the others, but she's not entirely pure.
even peg is still self-serving. she did agree with helen, and she tried to reel in birdie's ignorance, but even that was just her doing her job. she literally begged miles not to make birdie release the statement because she was worried about her own image. now, clearly she's not nearly as bad as any of the others, but how much of that is because she's morally superior and how much of it is because of her position? if she were a celebrity billionaire like the rest of them instead of an assistant, would she act the same?
the only characters that aren't focused on money and public image are the ones who aren't public figures. especially helen- benoit is world-famous, but helen is just a third-grade teacher who wants to avenge her twin sister. the lesson here is of course, power and fame corrupt. every character that gains fame and money are obsessed with keeping it, by any means necessary.
and to show this so thoroughly that it seeps into every detail of the movie, that i could spend hours writing about? goddamn that's a fantastic movie. it's a glass onion- you can see its core, but around it are a lot of layers that are harder to pick out. i could watch this movie fifteen times and still not get all the nuance, and that is what makes a good movie great in my opinion.
