Your blog is pretty big and popular and still complaining about lack of engagement makes you seem really out of touch with smaller creators in the fandom who can barely get any likes, much less reboots and comments. Just saying.
I’m advocating for all blogs when I say that. And I truly stand behind my previous statement.
I know some blogs go straight to the block button when they see a serial spam liker in the activity bar. I don’t block people for that, I just encourage them to share the content they have clearly enjoyed. And I did so, kindly and while also mentioning that I do value and appreciate their support.
This is a problem the fanfiction community face across all fandoms. This isn’t a problem on my shoulders alone. If you think I’m out of touch for advocating for free content that’s posted on a site that runs and works off its reblog system then that’s your prerogative.
But I know I speak for every fanfiction author when I say it’s disheartening to see serial spam likers in your activity bar without seeing any commentary, feedback, or reblogs.

so i'm going to be reviving thoma a lil bit. blame ray. i'll redo my promo and post a starter call later if work doesn't kill me. if you're interested in plotting something more substantial then a quick starter, give this a like. not obligated, i love quick interactions just as much, but this is an interest checker i guess.

I woke up pretty sore on an uncushioned lounge chair. My back ain't happy about that. However it was Winterfest! A fun time if you ask me- I grilled up myself breakfast and decided to drop by Lia's place and act as Father Winter. They really liked the knitted gifts I had to give em. Man what a useful skill.
Beach Life: Tier 2/4 Done!
I did get an unexpected gift of sorts myself. A VERY interesting message from Makoa. He and Lilliana must have an open marriage or something. Don't care! I ain't about to pass up on that fine ass sim.

man I am so grateful for the pets I have and how much they trust me
neither of the dogs like getting their nails trimmed but when I ask them to come over while holding the clippers they come sit down and wait for me to finish with the saddest looks in their eyes. if I ask them to get in the tub for bathtime, they'll mope but they'll go hop in the tub on their own
the cat doesn't keep her own nails in check (she was raised by dogs) and she refuses to let herself be held, so we always have to bring the towel-swaddle out, but as soon as I'm done she's laying on my chest purring up a storm
it's humbling to be trusted so fully

This is apparently an extremely unpopular opinion, but I hate 9/11 jokes. And I don’t say this as some super patriotic person who is always like #neverforget and planning memorials and all that. I was born in 1999. I was two when it happened, so I don’t remember it. But I live in America so I’ve seen the documentaries and the news reports. It seems like every year of school starting in like 4th grade I learned something new about what happened that day. And it was a tragedy. It was devastating. People died. People felt so hopeless that they jumped out of buildings because it was better than burning to death. I agree that it’s unbearably annoying that we are so obsessed with this event. I agree that it is horrible that our country ignores the effects of this event, all of the innocent people who died in the war, all of the innocent Americans who were harassed and harmed afterwards for simply looking like the people who did this. I’m angry at our government for ignoring the signs of this attack because it wasn’t random. There were many things our government did that led to this attack and signs that something was coming. I don’t think it was an inside job, but I do think it could have been stopped. I don’t think Bush was involved simply because he didn’t freak out and panic in front of a bunch of children during story time (something everyone who claims Bush did 9/11 ignore when talking about his straight face after finding out). This wasn’t a military attack. These were innocent people just going to work. My dad knows someone who was inside the building because he was delivering sandwiches for a lunch order. I think a big part of the younger generations’ response to it is overexposure and a lack of personal understanding that leads to apathy. We see this frequently. I understand why you think it’s okay to make constant jokes about this. But it was still a tragedy, one that happened during some of our lifetimes. I don’t expect you to weep and be filled with patriotism and rage upon hearing about it. But I also don’t understand how anyone could joke about it. Especially not an entire generation
