Marmalade
Tumblr media
Chapter Summary: With Wabang in your rearview mirror you can finally breathe again.
Pairing: Rhett Abbott/Fem!Reader
Warnings: Minors DNI, ANGST!!, Cheating
Word Count: 3,000ish
A/N: Wow it's like embarrassing updating after not doing so for a while. This chapter is short because I just had to finish that little timeline so I can start on what I am most excited for. This is like the fastest I have ever wrote a chapter. Happy March!
Previous Chapter - Next Chapter - Masterlist
A sharp bang! echoes through the barn and a string of curses follow it. The ringing noise causes you to jump, the wood bench creaking under your sudden shift of weight. Looking up from your phone you see Rhett clutching his hand tightly, his freckled nose wrinkled up as he looks at his injured fist.
“What happened?” You ask as you get up, boots shuffling through the dirt to get to him. Rhett was reluctant to give his hand to you as you reached for it, shooting him an annoyed look before he let you.
“Was tryna loosen that bolt right there on the alternator, someone didn’t want that thing comin’ off-'' He gestured to the jumble of parts that sits under your hood, “The bolt finally broke loose and I hit m’hand on the block.” He winced as you looked his hand over, satisfied to find nothing of severe damage.
“Sorry.” You offer him a sympathetic smile before letting him retract his hand from your grip, “It'll just bruise probably. You can be done, I’m stuck here for another few days so we really don’t have to fix it now.” You explain, grateful for his help but not wanting to take him for granted or overwork him when you knew he had other things planned today.
“No it's okay. I'm almost done, promise.” He smiles and brushes his hand over the top of your head, careful not to mess up the two french braids you plaited this morning and pecked you on the forehead. Smiling, you chase his lips and steal a kiss before sitting back down on the bench to the side of him.
Happily, you snuggled tighter into your jacket, warmed by the heat lamp Rhett had set up by you. Even though you had protested because of how ridiculous and frivolous it had seemed, you were secretly thankful he had turned it on. You felt like a little chicken, huddled close and waiting for Rhett to finish.
Originally, the plan was to have your dad work on your truck. He was the one that came with you when you were a teenager to buy the vehicle, he had helped you fix it before. But this morning when you got in and tried to start it, nothing. Just that awful high pitched whirring sound it made as it tried its best to start. Perry had already gone to work, or else you would have him help you. But, you were thankful that Rhett was helping you instead. He knew the most about vehicles, especially compared to Perry.
Rhett helped you push your truck into the barn, insisting that having it under the protective cover of wood would help him work better. Conveniently ensuring the two of you were alone while he worked. You wanted to stay with him anyways, you would have felt guilty if he was stuck in the barn by himself.
The two of you had been texting more. Nothing spectacular or intense, but probably now the same amount normal people text. Asking each other where you were when you left the house, asking how the other one was. The occasional, ‘You up?’ late at night when everyone else was asleep.
You were leaving to go back to college in a few days, and that's when you would break up with Perry. Over the phone, where you had the power to hang up if he started yelling at you. The guilt was there. It was not like you were this heartless monster of a woman who loved cheating on her boyfriend. The hate you felt inside was immeasurable, something you don't think you will ever be able to shake.
So many things happened at once, it was like the universe finally telling you what to do after so many years of waiting for a sign. You had not told Rhett of your plan, not explicitly that is. When you did talk about leaving to go back, he got the hint. But were you guys going to get together after you and Perry broke up? That was a whole other complicated… thing.
The two of you talk about so many things. Family, horses, rodeo, school. But never what was planned to happen after.
Surprisingly, you had a lot in common. Rhett was funny and sweet, affectionate when he could be, and even when there was nothing to talk about the silence was never awkward. He made you laugh with your whole chest, and sometimes it wasn't even on purpose. He had this habit of making little remarks about his surroundings, muttering to himself like you couldn't hear him.
And you liked him, a lot.
You were sure no one noticed. You were far too paranoid to leave any hint that something could be going on between the two of you. It was not easy to pretend, but you had been doing it for what seemed like an eternity, so knowing that there was a light at the end of the tunnel made the rest of the week bearable.
“I can hear you thinking, what is it?” Rhett’s voice snaps you from your thoughts, drawing your eyes from the ground to meet his. He was wiping his dirty hands with a rag, cocking his head to the side as he looked at you.
“Nothing. Just…” You inhaled and sighed, slowly standing up and stretching your arms above your head, “Just nervous. Lots of stress going back to school.” You muttered, slowly making your way over to Rhett. He had his arms outstretched when you got close enough, pulling you into a tight hug while he kissed the top of your head.
“It’s gonna be okay.” You pull back and look up at him doubtfully, your lips pulling down in a slight frown, “I don't know how I know, I just do. So trust me.” Rhett insisted, his eyes flicking down to your lips before meeting your eyes again.
“What? Are you like some fortune teller, hmm?” You tease, planting your hands on his chest, playing with the frayed fibers there.
“Somethin’ like that.” Rhett chuckled, one hand trailing up your back to tug on one of your braids jokingly. With your head tipped back, he took a chance to steal a kiss from you, smiling as you let out a small noise of protest against his lips.
Letting go of your braid, his hand trailed back down to your waist, slipping his fingers into your back pocket. You deepened the kiss, chasing his warm mouth against the cold air of the barn. His jacket was gripped tightly in your fists, afraid to let him go. A snort escaped his nose, drawing back so just your foreheads were brushing.
“I aint goin’ anywhere.” Rhett whispers against your lips, his eyes half-lidded.
It was a promise you knew he couldn't keep. Maybe he thought he could keep it, that everything would work itself out. You kept kissing him, spreading your fingers wide over the large expanse of his broad chest as you ignored his words.
He turned your bodies, now pressing your back into the front of your truck. You felt warmth in your chest, drunk on his scent that surrounded you, the kisses getting messy. You could taste his breath, minty from his gum he spit out earlier. Forcefully, he nudged a leg in between yours, pinning you right where you were. He slipped his tongue inside your mouth as you gasped from where his thigh was.
Cold hands framed your face, palms on your cheeks and you could smell the metallic-dirty scent of your truck. His thumbs brushed your cheekbones, your heart beating out of your chest.
Suddenly, you were pushed away. Stumbling away from the truck and from Rhett. You blinked rapidly, dizzy as you tried to figure out what was going on. Your vision cleared up, and your blood ran ice cold. A loud clanging could be heard through your daze.
Royal was standing in the doorway of the barn, the scenery behind him like a blank wasteland. It was a sharp contrast to his looming, dark figure. He stared at the two of you for what seemed like ages, in slow motion his eyes went between the two of you, expression vacant of any emotion.
You hadn't even heard the door open, and it seemed like Rhett barely did before shoving you away. Tears welled up in your eyes, stinging while you felt your bottom lip quiver. It was like every emotion crashed into you at once, not letting you process what was going on.
“A cow died in the west pasture. I’m thinkin’ last night.” Royal started, pulling off a glove to scratch at his brow. Rhett clenched his fists, his back completely turned to you, unable to see his expression.
Pain blossomed on your ear, your senses coming back to you. Slowly, you lifted your hand to touch where it hurt, finding one of your earrings gone. When pushing you back his hand must've caught on it and pulled it out. You looked at your hand and found no blood, determining that it had just fallen out. Standing still, you looked at the ground, trying to find the glint of metal.
“Her tongue and legs were all swollen. I’m thinkin’ it could be Blackleg… and in that case we need to move the rest of ‘em.” Royal says as you look for your earring, clenching your jaw at the description he just gave. You were paralyzed in fear.
“Yeah, lemme just finish up here.” The sound of your hood closing startled you out of trying to be busy, looking at Rhett who paid you no mind. Your brow furrowed, looking back to Royal.
He tipped his head back towards the house, “Let’s get you inside.” Royal states and you nod, turning back to unplug the heat lamp.
Following Royal out and towards the house, you keep your eyes down. You wait for him to turn around and scold you but he doesn't, just quietly walking to the house. It was like you were in a daze. Just blindly stumbling over the frozen dirt and almost tripping on the wooden stairs up to the house.
Inside was like a tropical heatwave, prompting you to pull off your jacket. Royal leaves you at the foyer, and you can hear him explaining what he just found to Cecilia. You wait for him to tell her what he saw you doing in the barn, but it never comes. Just about that poor cow, how he suspects a few of them may have it too. Cecilia suggests going to the tractor supply, and that's when you stop listening.
Wandering into the living room, you let your body go limp on one of the chairs. Tears returned in your eyes. It was too hot here, your sweater was choking you with its high neck. You felt like you were dying, quietly gasping for breath as you lay completely still on the chair.
Rhett walks in from outside, knocking off his boots at the door. You could see him from where you were sitting, not making a move when he glanced over at you. Your stomach flipped before he walked away towards the voices of his parents and out of your sight.
Closing your eyes, you swear you black out for a second. The next thing you know Cecilia is gently shaking your shoulder and your eyes fly open, inhaling sharply through your nose.
“I’m sorry you heard that honey. Royal said you looked pretty pale after he took you in, are you okay?” She asks and it's like your response is just words swirling around in your head like soup. She raises her eyebrows, awaiting your response.
Clearing your throat, you sit up from your slouched position, “Yeah, um.” You rub your eyes, “Just sad, ya know.” You say weakly and Cecilia offers you a sympathetic smile, nodding.
“He's worried it’s Blackleg. We have had it a few times, so I’m trustin’ his instinct.” She explains, “Could you come with me into town? I called the Tractor Supply while you were sleepin’ and it looks like they have some penicillin available still.” Running your tongue over your teeth you nod. Sleeping? You couldn't have been sleeping. You heard Rhett and Royal leave, you just shut your eyes for a second.
“Yeah, I just need to go upstairs then I'll be right down.” You start to get up, steadying yourself on the back of the chair. Cecilia followed you close behind but split off when you got to the stairs, continuing to the kitchen. Walking up took all of your strength, still confused and absolutely oblivious to what was going on. It was like you were in some fucked up dream.
The pain on your ear subsided, now just hot to the touch from the incident. You felt silly with just one earring in, deciding while looking in the floor-length mirror beside Perry’s bed to just take the other out. Hands shaking, you pulled on the back and front simultaneously, grimacing as it wouldn't budge. Dropping your hands, you shook them out before trying again, turning your face away from the mirror to try another angle.
It finally gave way, the soft scraping of metal and it flew out. The front slipped from between your thumb and pointer, falling to the ground and out of your sight.
Cursing, you set the metal back on Perry’s dresser, crouching down to look for the stupid earring. On your hands and knees, you searched for the stud. You found nothing but dust bunnies behind his mirror and under the dresser. Turning on your phone light, you looked under the bed. You sighed in relief as you saw the tiniest metal glint on the floor near the middle of the bed.
Dropping your phone, you laid on your stomach and shimmied a little under the bed, outstretching your arm as far as it could go. The floor creaked under your weight. While you shifted closer, the top of your head bonked something sturdy shoved at the very head of the bed.
Looking up, you sneezed suddenly, the dust getting to you. Swiftly, you grabbed the stud and slid out from under the bed, grabbing what you hit your head on as well. It was a blue sports bag, something you hadn't seen before. Sitting up, you brushed the dust off and set your earring on the edge of the bed.
Curiosity took over and you unzipped the duffle bag. There were a few miscellaneous books, random pieces of clothing, and a pair of sneakers. All very common, normal things to be in a bag. You felt silly for even going through it. Cecilia was probably already dressed and waiting for you.
As you were putting the things back into place you noticed one shoe was heavier than the other. Reaching inside, you felt an object shoved to the very top of the sneaker. You grabbed the sole of the shoe and hit the heel on the ground a few times before the object tumbled out and hit the floor.
Your hands trembled as you reached for it. All you could hear was blood rushing in your ears as you turned the little black box over in your hands. You knew what it was. It was easy to tell even without opening it.
Without thinking, you exposed what was inside.
Against the black fabric lining the inside of the box shone a ring. Its metal glinting just how your earring did when you were looking for it under the bed. You sat there, head empty, staring at it while it glimmered up at you.
Cecelia called your name, spooking you so you dropped the box. Quickly, you grabbed it from the floor and snapped it shut. Shoving everything back into the bag, you pushed it under the bed. Like a whirlwind, you were out of the room and bounding down the stairs to her.
-
The living room was dark and quiet, save for the sound of your breath. You had just sent Rhett a text, telling him you were in the living room. Your thumb still hovered over the send arrow, waiting for him to reply back.
The day went by in a second. While driving to town you replayed everything in your head over and over again. Did Royal see you? He must've, especially Rhett shoving you away from him. Everything changed in a second, just a singular second of stupidity. And you are afraid of what could happen. So afraid of who could know.
Your family would be disappointed in you, and you couldn't handle that. Gossip spreads like wildfire in a small town, and you were sure to get burned at the stake for your crime of sleeping with your boyfriend’s brother. God, your boyfriend’s brother. What a horrible mistake you've made.
Before you see the three bubbles pop up you hear the floor creak above your head, signaling that he is coming down. You lock your phone and sit it on the couch cushion beside you. It doesn't take long for you to hear him walking down the steps to where you are.
Looking up from your hands, you see him rounding the corner to you. Offering him a small smile, you extend a hand in his direction. Rhett grasps it and kneels beside you on the floor, a hand coming up to rest on your naked calf. He stroked the skin there, cocking his head in question as you sat in silence.
“I found a ring.” You murmured almost silently.
Rhett rested his chin on your knee, looking up at you through his thick eyelashes, “What do ya mean?”
“I mean-” Your voice cracked, “I found a bag under Perry’s bed and inside was an engagement ring.” His eyes widened and his hand on your shin stilled. “I’m afraid he’ll know I messed with it. After I found it I just threw everything back and didn't fix it.” You all but whined, your voice getting squeaky.
“Well I don't think he will be anything right now. He would have told me.” Rhett tried to reassure you, his hand wrapping around your ankle. He was chewing on the inside of his cheek now, worrying the skin.
“I have to go. I can't stay.” You start to run your fingers through his hair, but he jerks back, the hand on your ankle tightening.
“Go? Go where?” He whispers, bewildered, “It’s the middle of the night.”
“What did your dad say after he found us in the barn?” You ask, ignoring his question.
“It’s the middle of the night.” Rhett repeats, his tone serious.
You sigh, exasperated, “I don't want to be here anymore. I don't care that it's the middle of the night, I am scared and I just can’t stay.” Your brow furrowed as you explained, swallowing the lump in your throat. “What did your dad say?’ You repeated.
“Nothing. He said nothing to me.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah.”
You exchanged stares, the back of his head illuminated like a halo.
“Please wait till mornin’ for me. I know you're scared-” But you are already shaking your head ‘no’ before he can finish. Rhett stops himself and gives you a look, his jaw tensing.
You let go of his hand and rub it down the top of your thigh, “I already have everything packed. I just need to change and get my things.” Rhett opens his mouth to protest but you are already standing up, stepping back from him. His hand falls from your ankle and he is left kneeling on the ground looking up at you.
Rhett nods and gets up, ignoring the hand you offer to help him up.
After grabbing your things, you take one last look at Perry before shutting his door for the last time. You felt nothing for him. Maybe because you felt so numb already. But you thought you would tear up a bit, but it was easy to be silent, grab your things, and leave.
Rhett was waiting for you at the door, taking your bag out to your truck while you changed. It was like you were running on autopilot. No emotions, just wanting to get out.
Your soul ached as you stepped out of the house and found that Rhett had started your truck for you, letting it warm up before you drove off. It was quiet outside. For once no wind was assaulting your face, no white flakes embedding themselves into your hair. The snow crunched under your boots as you walked over to Rhett.
It was reminiscent of meeting in the church parking lot.
He was waiting outside your driver’s door, arms crossed over his extensive chest covered by his Carhart hoodie. The second you got within arm’s reach, Rhett pulled you into a hug, burying his nose into your hair. Your cheek was pressed against the logo, closing your eyes sharply as you hugged him as tight as you could.
“Be safe for me, hm?” He muttered into your head, the vibrations from his chest tickling your ear. You nodded, planting a kiss to the center.
Pulling back, you kiss his cold lips. It lacked the fiery passion every other time had. But what it lacked in that was replaced with… sadness? It was weak, soft, and lacked depth.
Like you were kissing someone lifeless.
Rhett stepped back and opened the truck door for you, gesturing inside. You stepped forward and the heat hit you in the face. Your bag was already in the passenger seat and you looked back at Rhett. He tipped his head towards the open door as he held it  for you.
You slid inside and Rhett shut the door for you, walking backwards a few steps as you buckled and put your car into drive.
Then you drove away. Leaving Rhett behind to stand alone in the cold.
You watched him in the rearview mirror, arms crossed like they always are.
It took everything in you to not turn around and beg him to come with.

Awe-inspiring is a word I feel is overused. "Awe" in general is overused, really. I mean, awesome inspired completely different feelings and images a hundred years ago compared to today. As someone who adores the original meanings of 'awe' and its related 'awe-inspiring', I sincerely attempt to limit my usage to reflect its gravitas.
With that in mind, your work is awe-inspiring. Thank you for sharing it 🤍
You mentioned in another response that this fic is millions of words, and I believe it. I cannot fathom how overwhelming that must seem now, let alone when you began at book one.
Are there times you've questioned this project because of its length? How do you keep going if you become overwhelmed? Along these lines, have you ever posted a plot point or a detail you regret on some level? How do you keep moving forward, working with those already posted points?
This compliment is sincerely touching, and I thank you for it. I don't take the word lightly, either, and I'll endeavor to deserve your respect.
Mostly, coping with the length is a "don't look down" scenario. Like, yeah, in theory you're writing hundreds of thousands of words, but also, you don't have to write them today. And the way I think about it is: I'm a writer, and I love to write. I would be writing millions of words cumulatively across different projects anyway, so why not this one? If I'm still interested in it — and I am — what's the harm in doing more in this universe? Sure, you worry about plateauing or getting writer's block, but ironically, once you've put in enough effort, that stops being a problem. You don't lose all sense of doubt, but you do start to get amused by the feelings, because they're so obviously baseless. It's like: yeah, whatever, Brain. You were able to write 500,000 words of fic about this one Specific Little Dude, but 600,000 is too much for you? What, was word #600,001 too much of an ask? You're going to waste two years of effort because you threw a temper tantrum and didn't want to write the Middle Part of Chapter Fucking Seventy-Three? Sure, honey.
Being kind to yourself helps a lot. Taking breaks when you need them, not forcing the scene if it doesn't want to come. Being willing to fuck with the project a little and shake up storylines if you're not digging them. The general rule of thumb is that if you're not having fun, the reader isn't either, so keeping yourself entertained is a big priority.
I don't recall anything I regretted, though I'm sure there are. I don't dwell on it much. You have to forgive the writer you used to be for not being as good as the writer you are now, and that means long projects are gonna get better with time. I choose to feel pride about that instead of regret. As for the fic, you do the best you can. Sometimes you just have to play it as it lays.

Yuichiro has had a challenging day and finds himself super tired and short fused. He ends up coming off as harsh to the reader (maybe Mui too) without meaning to because of it. Then regrets it and feels absolutely awful hating himself, very angsty. I’ll leave it to you if the reader is understanding or not. Take your time please queen and no pressure 🐬 💚!

To be honest, this story hit me right in the feels. I'm not sure if it's because I can relate to it so deeply, but it definitely brought tears to my eyes. Here's the angsty one-shot, nee-san :'3 and I hope it evokes strong emotions in you too, just like it did for me, HAHA. I really enjoyed writing this piece, despite the heavy emotions involved XDD
I'll be posting two fictions of Yuichiro x Reader today, a small low-key celebration for 250 followers~ Enjoy~
Tumblr media
Due to being a hashira, Yuichiro was constantly burdened with numerous missions and patrols. There were times when he couldn't even find a moment to rest, as his schedule was packed to the brim. He couldn't complain, though, as he had willingly joined the Demon Slayer Corps alongside his brother. However, the exhaustion had taken its toll on his body, and it wasn't something he could easily shake off, no matter how much he wanted to.
Yuichiro trained the low-ranked members, including Y/n, his exhaustion and irritability were evident. He pushed them harder than usual, his patience wearing thin. The continuous missions and lack of sleep had taken a toll on his normal reserved demeanor.
"Come on! Is that the best you can do?" Yuichiro barked, his voice filled with frustration, his fatigue made him less tolerant of any mistakes or shortcomings.
Everyone was determined to prove themselves; they tried their best to keep up with Yuichiro's demanding training. Sweat dripped down their foreheads as they performed the techniques, struggling to meet his expectations. Despite their efforts, they couldn't escape Yuichiro's short-tempered outbursts.
"Focus! Concentrate on your breathing and your movements," Yuichiro snapped, his tone harsh. "You need to improve if you want to survive out there!"
As the grueling training session continued for hours, exhaustion began to take its toll on everyone, including Y/n. The intensity of the exercises and Yuichiro's relentless demands had pushed them all to their limits. Some of her fellow demon slayers were already sprawled on the ground, gasping for breath.
Y/n's body trembled with fatigue, her breathing heavy and erratic. She could feel the sweat soaking her clothes, clinging uncomfortably to her skin. Her posture slouched, and she instinctively reached for her knees, trying to catch her breath.
Recognizing that Yuichiro's strictness might be an attempt to push them to their limits, Y/n, who had a closer relationship with him compared to the others, gathered the courage to speak up. “Yuichiro, I think we could use a break," she suggested.
Y/n's suggestion hung in the air as Yuichiro's gaze bore into her. The intensity in his eyes sent a shiver down her spine, and she felt a sudden tension in the atmosphere. It was as if he had stripped away his usual warmth and replaced it with an unfamiliar coldness.
Yuichiro's voice was sharp as he responded, his tone laced with irritation. "A break? You think you deserve a break after that pathetic display? We're demon slayers, Y/n. We don't get breaks when the demons are out there, ready to attack us."
Y/n's heart sank at his words. The harshness in his tone was a stark contrast to their usual interactions. She had always thought she had a special connection with him, but in that moment, it felt like she was a stranger in his eyes.
"Well..." Y/n stuttered, taken aback by the harshness in Yuichiro's tone. While she understood his point, she couldn't help but feel that he could have conveyed it in a gentler manner.
Yuichiro immediately noticed the expression on Y/n's face, and a pang of guilt washed over him for his outburst. However, his annoyance still lingered, and he couldn't bring himself to soften his words. "Whatever, take your breaks then, I don't care," he spat, before turning and walking away.
Y/n couldn't contain her worry and frustration any longer. She hurriedly walked up to Yuichiro and grabbed the sleeve of his haori, hoping to halt his determined stride.
"Yui, I understand that you want to train us for our own improvement, but we can't keep pushing ourselves like this. We're already giving our best," she voiced out, her voice filled with genuine concern. However, her efforts to soften his demeanor were met with indifference.
"Trying our best?" Yuichiro repeated, his voice dripping with venom. "Well, it seems like your best isn't enough, especially since you're not even a Hashira," he added, his words cutting through the air with a harshness that sent a pang of hurt through Y/n's heart.
The moment the words left his lips, Yuichiro felt an instant pang of regret. But what could he do now? The damage had been done, and there was no way to take back his hurtful words.
Y/n felt the weight of Yuichiro's words pierce through her like a dagger. The venomous tone in his voice struck a deep chord within her, and she couldn't help but flinch at his words. Her breath caught in her throat as she struggled to find a response. The pain of his words washed over her, and she couldn’t help but welled up tears.
“You’re no better than a demon.” Y/n's voice cracked as she snapped back at Yuichiro, her words filled with a mixture of pain and anger. Tears streamed down her face; the hurt etched on her features as she struggled to hold back her emotions. Biting her bottom lip to suppress any sniffles, she pushed past him forcefully, distancing herself from him.
Yuichiro stood frozen in place, his earlier indifference replaced by shock and regret. The impact of Y/n's words hit him like a punch to the gut. He watched helplessly as she ran away, the sound of her footsteps echoing in his ears.
Realizing the gravity of his words and actions, a wave of guilt washed over Yuichiro. He never intended to hurt Y/n, especially not to this extent. He clenched his fists, frustration and regret mingling within him.
The weight of his own words bore down on him. The realization that his exhaustion had caused him to lash out at someone he cared about left him feeling utterly disappointed in himself. He couldn't believe that he had let his fatigue get the better of him, allowing hurtful words to slip from his lips.
With every step he took, Yuichiro's self-directed frustration grew. He clenched his fists even tighter, the intensity of his grip reflecting his inner turmoil. His frown deepened as he berated himself for his lack of control, feeling like the most useless person in that moment.
In his attempt to make amends, he searched for Y/n in the usual places he would find her. Eventually, he spotted her, but to his surprise, she was not alone. She was with his twin brother.
Yuichiro's heart sank as he stumbled upon the scene of Y/n sobbing in Muichiro's arms. The sight pierced through him, intensifying his guilt and regret. He felt a mix of emotions—jealousy, regret, and a deep sense of remorse for causing Y/n such pain.
Yuichiro looked at the comforting scene between Y/n and Muichiro, a pang of jealousy stirred within him. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of resentment towards his younger brother's ability to easily connect with others, especially when he himself struggled with expressing his emotions. The feeling of inadequacy intensified as he compared himself to Muichiro.
Yuichiro's conflicting emotions overwhelmed him as he stood hidden, observing Y/n and Muichiro. The turmoil within him made it difficult to make a clear decision on whether to enter the scene or leave. In the end, his emotions got the better of him, and he chose to quietly withdraw.
He then heard footsteps approaching from behind, he turned around to find his younger twin, Muichiro, standing there. The sight of his brother softened Yuichiro's gaze, momentarily easing the turmoil within him.
His eyes remained averted, unable to meet Muichiro's gaze as he wrestled with his own emotions and the consequences of his actions. "How... How was Y/n?" He asked, his voice quivered with a mix of concern and guilt.
"She's hurt," Muichiro replied, his voice calm and soft. He understood that Yuichiro wouldn't have lashed out without a reason. Sympathy and concern radiated from his touch as he placed a comforting hand on Yuichiro's shoulder.
"Nii-san, you should go talk to her. It's better to make amends before it's too late," Muichiro suggested, his intentions pure and well-meaning. However, a surge of jealousy unexpectedly welled up within Yuichiro upon hearing his brother's words.
The stirring of jealousy within him intensified his inner turmoil. He couldn't help but feel belittled, as if his own actions and abilities were inferior to his younger twin's.
His fists clenched involuntarily, and a mix of frustration and resentment washed over him. The jealousy that had been brewing within him threatened to consume his rationality.
Yuichiro forcefully brushed off his younger brother's hand, his glare piercing and intense. Muichiro's eyes widened in surprise, struggling to comprehend the sudden change in his brother's behavior.
"Do you think you're better than me now, Muichiro? Is that it?" The words escaped his lips, fueled by his inner turmoil, his resentment and jealousy momentarily overpowering his better judgment.
Muichiro's eyebrows furrowed, a mix of concern and pain crossing his face, his voice carried a hint of hurt as he tried to clarify the misunderstanding.
"Nii-san, I never thought of that," Muichiro replied softly, his voice tinged with confusion. "I would never think I'm better than you. I'm just trying to help and find a way to make things right. I care about both of you."
Seeing the genuine pain in Muichiro's expression, his older twin’s heart sank. The realization of the harm he had caused and the contrast between his own behavior and his brother's gentle nature intensified his self-hatred. He despised himself for his outburst, for his inability to convey his feelings properly, and for… Not being more like his brother.
A mix of remorse and self-disgust washed over Yuichiro. He longed to undo his actions, to go back in time and handle the situation differently. But in that moment, overwhelmed by his emotions, he couldn't bring himself to face Muichiro. With a heavy heart, he turned away, unable to bear the disappointment he saw in his brother's eyes.
Muichiro watched silently, his expression a mixture of concern and sadness, as his older twin walked away.
Yuichiro gritted his teeth in frustration, the weight of his actions and the self-loathing that consumed him becoming almost unbearable. Regret coursed through his veins, and he felt absolutely awful, hating himself for the hurt he had caused and for not being able to control his emotions.
He was an emotional wreck, unable to find solace or escape from the turmoil within him. Tears welled up in his eyes as he fought to contain his overwhelming emotions, feeling like he had hit rock bottom. The heaviness in his chest made it difficult to breathe, and his mind raced with self-critical thoughts.
Yuichiro desperately wished he could turn back time and handle things differently, to prevent the pain he had caused. He yearned to find a way to make amends, to show those he cared about how deeply sorry he was. The torment he felt was consuming him, leaving him feeling lost and broken.
His feet carried him aimlessly, his mind consumed by guilt and regret, he stumbled upon Y/n sitting alone on a bench. The sight of her immediately sent a pang of remorse through his heart, intensifying the weight of his actions and the pain he had caused her.
Just as Yuichiro was about to turn away, Y/n's eyes caught sight of his figure, and their gazes locked in a moment, his heart ached as he caught sight of Y/n's red, tear-filled eyes. The sight of her pain intensified the guilt within him, making it difficult for him to meet her gaze. He averted his eyes, feeling the weight of his remorse as he stared down at the ground.
“Yui. Come here.”
Yuichiro hesitated for a moment, unsure of how Y/n would receive him. But her gentle and soft voice beckoned him, breaking through the barrier of guilt and uncertainty. He took a deep breath, finally yielding to her request and slowly walked towards her, taking a seat beside her on the bench.
The silence hung between them, heavy with unspoken emotions. Yuichiro could feel the weight of the pain he had caused and the necessity of his redemption. His hands fidgeted nervously as he tried to find the right words to express his remorse.
“Y/n… I’m so-“ Yuichiro's voice trailed off as he started to speak, but Y/n cut in before he could finish his sentence.
"I'm sorry, Yuichiro," Y/n interjected, her voice filled with remorse. "I didn't mean to provoke you with my words earlier. I understand that you're just trying to push us to improve, and I appreciate that."
Yuichiro's eyes widened in surprise as Y/n interrupted his words, he was taken aback by her humility and her willingness to take responsibility for her own actions, despite his initial hurtful words.
Yuichiro's throat tightened, his voice caught in a mix of emotions as he finally found the courage to speak.
"No, Y/n, it is I who should be sorry," Yuichiro interjected, his voice filled with sincerity. "I was the one who started it all, and I had no right to lash out at you. Please, don't apologize for snapping at me. I was in the wrong…”
Y/n wrapped her arms around Yuichiro, pulling him into a gentle embrace, he initially felt the urge to break away. He believed that he didn't deserve her comfort and kindness after the hurtful words he had spoken. But the sincerity and warmth in her gesture spoke volumes, touching his heart in a way he couldn't ignore.
“I forgive you.”
A mixture of emotions swirled within Yuichiro as his head nuzzled against her chest. Tears welled up in his minty orbs, threatening to spill over. The weight of his guilt and remorse became intertwined with a glimmer of hope and forgiveness, slowly mending the broken pieces within him.
Yuichiro's voice trembled as he expressed himself, “I’m sorry for lacking…” Feeling vulnerable and weak in that moment. But before he could continue, Y/n's gentle voice interrupted him, her words washing over him like a soothing balm.
"You're more than enough for me," she whispered, her voice filled with sincerity and acceptance. Those words resonated deep within Yuichiro, piercing through the layers of self-doubt and insecurity.
Tears flowed freely from Yuichiro's eyes as he released a shaky breath, finally allowing himself to believe in the possibility of forgiveness and redemption.

Chapter One A Friends to Lovers/Slight Enemies to Lovers Series Pairing: Steven Grant x Female Reader, Marc Spector x Reader, eventually Jake Lockley x Reader. Word Count: 1389 Summary: Steven's neighbor drops by his work to bring him lunch and Marc sets off on a side mission for Khonshu only to be rudely interrupted. Content Warning: Donna being mean, a gun (not used), minor violence Requests or Prompts you'd like to see are gladly welcome. Series Masterlist * Next Chapter
When moving into the place he now calls home, he hadn't really expected his next door neighbor to be so nice. She was the epitome of kindness in his eyes, always checking up on him and allowing him to chat her ear off whenever he pleased. It was a radical difference compared to what he experiences every day at the museum. Speaking of work..
"Steven?"
Shaking himself out of his thoughts from behind the counter, he straightens his posture to look at the woman he had just been thinking of.
"[Name]! What're you doing here?" "I was called in for first shift today, so I thought I'd bring you lunch when I got off." "Oh.. Is that why I didn't see you this morning?"
She nods with a hum while placing a paper bag on the counter. Steven can't help but smile at the sight, cheeks flushing slightly at her unexpected act of kindness. She'd only brought him lunch once before. It wasn't often their schedules would correspond and even when they did, they'd usually meet somewhere.
"You didn't have to bring me anything, you know?" "I wanted to. It's also an apology for missing our usual bus ride."
Even though she has her own mode of transportation, she insisted to ride the bus with him after the third time they'd had dinner together. Saying something about saving money on gas and how she never really felt comfortable without someone she knew, so it was perfect for her. Truthfully, it was perfect for him too. He no longer felt so out of place on the crowded automobile.
"You don't have to apologize for that. I will be honest though, I was a bit worried when you didn't pop up. Thought maybe you were sick or something, was going to pick you up some soup on the way home." "Awe, you don't have to worry about me, Stevie!"
She gently pokes his nose with a giggle, earning a chuckle from himself. Usually, he'd correct anyone that calls him that with an exasperated tone, but [Name] was different. The way she says it causes his heart to stutter and his stomach to turn in the best of ways, but not as wonderful as when she had called him 'love' that time he'd gotten terribly sick and she took care of him.
"How bout I leave a sticky note on your door if I ever have to go in that early again? How's that sound?" "You really don't have to." "I know, but it would make you worry less, yeah?"
Reluctantly, he nods.
"Then I'll leave a note next time. Now, when do you get off for lunch?"
Glancing at his watch, he smiles brightly at seeing how much time is left until his break.
"Ten minutes." "Perfe-" "Ahem."
The two jump at the sudden noise to their left, neither having noticed how Donna had snuck up on them. [Name]'s usual smile falters slightly, causing Steven to frown.
"I don't pay you to be talking to your little girlfriend."
Ever since her first visit at the end of the day, his boss has decided to make their lives difficult by interrupting them every chance she gets.
"She's not my- She just brought me my lunch is all, Donna." "If she's not looking around or buying anything, then she needs to leave." "There's no one-" "That doesn't matter. You need to be doing your job whether there's a line or not." "But-" "It's alright, I'll wait for you outside."
She doesn't give either of them a chance to speak as she grabs the paper bag and exits the museum while Donna leaves with a triumphant smile. The last of his ten minutes go by way to slow for his liking, so when his time is up he speed walks to join her on the steps of the museum. Neither of them talk about what just happened as she hands him his lunch.
"It's nothing much, just that wrap you usually get from the café down the street."
What she considered 'nothing much' meant a lot to him because she remembered his order. It's nice to see her put just as much effort as him into their friendship.
"Thank you."
The air around them is comfortable as she lays her head on his shoulder. This had become a common occurrence considering how often she allows him to do it on their commute to work, though the first time she'd done it caused his face to flush. He was just glad she couldn't see it.
"Have you already eaten today?" "Not yet. Planned on grabbing a snack-"
Before she can finish, he's already torn his salad wrap in two. She sits up in bewilderment with a confused smile.
"It's weird if I'm the only one eating. And, you know, you shouldn't skip meals. It's not good for you." "What would I ever do without you?"
She takes the half he holds out to her, smile never faltering.
"You'd probably waste away or something." "Oh, absolutely."
With one last chuckle, a pleasant silence sits around them as they eat. She looks at the people that pass by while he watches her, grateful to have found someone so wonderful. Steven wouldn't change a thing.
~~~
Marc on the other hand was starting to get annoyed. It's not that he's not happy for Steven, in fact he was glad the anxiety-riddled man finally made a friend without his help. Nor was it particularly her fault for his sour mood, but rather a combination of things.
'What are you doing Spector? He is no longer here.'
The man would return soon enough as the roof they are sat upon is the criminal's hideout, but he doesn't dignify the God with a response. It's hard enough balancing two very different lives, especially when one of them has started to become weary of the others nightly activities. It also didn't help that the more time Steven spent with [Name], the less he was able to see throughout the day. Hearing the door creak open, he continues to wait. Instead of immediately attacking, he figured it would be better for him to get settled, to believe he's safe. Once enough time has passed, he enters the building silently through one of the open windows, grabbing one of the crescent shaped darts from his chest. He wanted nothing more than to get this over with quickly and go home so Steven wouldn't wake up as tired as he usually does. The man has no idea he's here and the moment Marc has him in his sight, he throws the dart.
"Woah! That is not how we do things around here, mummy boy!"
Both men jump at the sudden voice as the dart is stopped by a web. The woman in red descends from the ceiling while the normally dressed man fumbles with his gun out of shock. Frustrated, Marc throws another dart, but this time he aims it at the hero. He shouldn't have done that, she's only trying to do what she believes is right, but his anger takes the best of him.
"Are we really going to play this game?"
He throws another dart as he begins approaching her, completely forgetting about the man he'd come to kill until she throws something at him. The little device beeps a few times before it forcefully attaches him to the wall, easily incapacitating him.
"Fine, but I'll have you know, I'm pretty competitive!"
The near carefree tone of her voice only upsets him more as he begins throwing punches. She only dodges, not yet trying to attack while spouting off stupid comments that continue to fuel the fire.
"You know, if you're just mad, maybe we can talk it out? I've been told I'm a great listener!"
When a punch finally lands, he feels a bit better, but guilty all the same as she stumbles back holding her side.
"Alright, maybe you're not a talker."
Before he can move to do anything else, she begins shooting webs at him. One covers his face while another wraps around his hand. The next thing he knows, he's on the ground with an incredibly painful headache.
"Sorry, but I told you I was competitive."
Removing the webs from his face, he sits up with a slight groan as she heads towards the window he had entered through.
"The police are on their way, so you might want to skedaddle before you get carted off to prison with this guy. I've heard it's not all that fun."
With that, she's gone, leaving Marc with an incapacitated target and a throbbing feeling in his skull. What he wouldn't do to change everything.
~~~~~~~~~~
A/N: It's not as long as I'd like it to be, but I'm slowly trying to get back into the groove. May take a while for the next chapter, it depends on how I feel.

Y/N's Pov
I am walking to lunch, and when I round the corner, I see Mary and George looking through the lunchroom window and talking to each other. I make a confused face while listening in on their conversation. "Look at him. It breaks my heart," Mary says sadly. "Poor little guy. Sitting all alone", George says sadly while responding to Mary's comment. "I don't know why his brother or even Y/N can't sit with him. Actually, Where is Y/N. I don't see her anywhere."
"I'm right here," I say, spooking Mary and George before continuing with, "Also, I tried to sit with Sheldon on his first day, and he said it would be best for me to sit with people who have the same intellect as me. I found that rude because he meant Georgie, and I am so much smarter than Georgie. Anyways, Georgie doesn't sit with him because he says In school, they don't know each other". I look between Georgie and Sheldon, then look at my godparents. "Yeah, come on Mary, when you were in high school would you have lunch with a nine-year-old," George asked Mary. "Yes, I would have," Mary responded.  "Well, there is something wrong with you." I took George's words as a sign to leave.
"Well, I'm... gonna... go," I told the married couple before heading into the lunchroom to sit with Georgie and our friends. I sat down to Georgie, trying to fit as many grapes as he can into his mouth. "Fourteen," he yelled out while all of Georgie's friends cheered him on. Georgie spits them all out before turning to me. "What did you think," Georgie asked me, trying to get my opinion on his 'cool' trick. "Georgie, if I wanted to see you stuff your mouth, I would just wait till dinner. In other words, not that interesting," I told my best friend. Georgie replied with a sad "oh" before going back to talking with his friends. I went back to finishing my newest sketch of a finch.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Georgie and I walked into the house. "Georgie, would you do me a tiny little favor," Mary asked Georgie while he was getting a drink out of the fridge. I sat with the girl I thought of as a little sister before saying hi. Georgie responded back with a "like what" before Mary asked Georgie to sit with Sheldon. I already told Mary why I don't sit with Sheldon. Missy with her smart remarks told Georgie, "Don't do it. I ate with him in second grade, it really hurt my social life." Georgie walked off while replying to Mary with a "No thanks". I kicked Missy under the table, then gave her a 'seriously' look. I shook my head and followed Georgie to 'help' him with his homework, which was more like do his work.
I don't follow Georgie because I'm his lost puppy. I follow Georgie to help him. Without me, Georgie would grow up to be a homeless man with great hair. I am basically Georgie's Guardian angel.
"Georgie, why do I always end up doing your homework? At this point, I don't even think you know how to read. Those magazines are just for show, and you know it. You probably only look at the pictures," I said to Georgie while sitting on his bed doing our geometry homework. "Aw, come on Y/N, don't you know that you're the smartest out of both of us. Without you, I would probably still be in the 5th grade. You were right about something though, those books are for looking, but I can read you." I roll my eyes at Georgie's comment before looking down and smiling.
I admit I might have a bit of a crush on Georgie but we're best friends, and how could I ever compare those girls in his magazine. If I tell Georgie that I like him, that could ruin our friendship, and that would be weird because we live together. So, I just stick to being his best friend. That way our friendship isn't ruined and I can still be as close to him as I can.
"Well I finished your homework and it's 10 o'clock, so I guess this is it. Have a good night," I said before heading out.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Georgie's POV
Y/N walked out of my room. I felt sad because she was gone. We talk all day, she does my homework, and we have practiced together, but I still miss her. "Maybe I like her," I mumble to myself while laying down staring at the ceiling. "Naw, that can't be," I said. I shut off my light and fell asleep.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Y/N's POV
I was leaving my art class when I see Sheldon talking to one of the cheerleaders. It's weird to be seeing Sheldon interacting with people without them running off and crying. It interested me so much I decided to listen in.
"Go wolves," Sheldon said in a monotone voice. Jessica closed her locker confused. Sheldon responded back to Jessica with, "You're a cheerleader, and by saying "Go Wolves" I'm initiating a conversation about something that interests you." "Oh, are you one of those special ed kids," Jessica asked still trying to understand what was happening. The older sister part of me kinda felt angry that she said that, but on the other hand she was talking to Sheldon. "My mom says I'm special. Would you like to be friends" Sheldon asks. She tells him, no, but Sheldon keeps going, "Are you sure? What if I told you I admired your boldly-applied makeup?" Jessica walks off offended.
I walk up to Sheldon frantically and say, "Sheldon, you can't say mean things like that. I'm at the top of the pyramid today, and Jessica is right underneath me." "Oh, I didn't know what I said was offensive. I thought that I was complimenting her," Sheldon says. "Well, just try not to insult people. If you don't know what to say, don't say anything to them." Sheldon replies with an "alright" before walking away from me. I watch Sheldon go before heading to my next class.
I got to my next class and I sat down beside Georgie. "I just ran into Sheldon trying to make friends," I told Georgie while I get the stuff I need for class out of my backpack. "I feel bad for whoever had to put up with Sheldon. That boy is not one for making friends," Georgie responds to my comment. "Well, I think it's cute, but I feel bad because he didn't make one friend." "You sound like my mom," Georgie says. I glare at Georgie. The teacher walks in and starts the class.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hear Mary yelling about how Sheldon made a friend. I felt happy for him. I feel like Sheldon would really benefit from having a friend. I mean, I have Georgie, and we're inseparable.
I also heard Sheldon ask if he can start his rocketry hobby again with his new friend and I dipped. The last time he launched a rocket he killed a family of squirrels and my eyebrows. I wanted to bond with Sheldon so I helped him with his rocket.
I went downstairs to watch tv with Missy. She was watching DuckTales. "I'm surprised you're not with Georgie," Missy comments as I sit down with her. I roll my eyes and say, "Georgie isn't my whole life. I talked to Sheldon earlier, and now I just want to hang out with you. Sheldon has a new friend now, I have Georgie, but I feel like you don't have anyone to hang out with. So, what do you say tomorrow I take you to get your nails done." Missy's eyes go wide and she excitedly shouts, "Yes, I'm gonna go tell mom!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After school, Missy and I went to get our nails done.

When Missy and I got home Mary told us that Sheldon's friend was coming over. Missy and I sat down to talk and watch tv. There was a knock at the door, and that set Mary off. "He's here," she yelled. "Everybody, stay calm! Just a normal day, just a normal dinner," she continued. Missy asks if she and I can eat in front of the TV, which obviously didn't end well.
We're all sitting at the dinner table, except for Mary, when George starts asking Tam, questions. George makes it weird when he asked Tam if his mom was named Kim-lee. Me and Georgie look at each other with a cringed look.
Georgie releases us from the weird vibes when he asks Tam, "So, Vietnam, like in Rambo." Tam responds with a "yes" and then Georgie continues with, "That's a cool movie." Georgie asks Tam if he's in Rambo and I look at him and elbow him in the ribs. Georgie says, "oww, what was that for" before Tam tells him "no". Sheldon brings the conversation back to George's comment, but it is cut off by Mary serving dinner.
We learned a lot about Tam's family and life. It was very interesting. Georgie said a couple more stupid things, which earned him a few more elbows to the ribs.

I was in my room, getting ready for bed. Georgie walks in and sits on my bed.

"How was the day with my sister," Georgie asks me. I sign for Georgie to get off the bed and say, "We had fun. After our nails, we went to Dairy Queen and got a blizzard. I think Missy and I really needed today, you know." Georgie helps me make my bed and continues the conversation, "I missed you today." "Is Georgie Cooper jealous? Georgie Cooper didn't have someone to do his homework and now he's sad," I said mocking Georgie. Georgie grows a sad look on his face and says, "No, I missed my best friend. Not the girl that does my homework, or the girl that helps me clean my room. I miss the girl I talk to for hours. The girl that makes me feel special compared to the rest of my family. I miss that girl and that girl is you."
"Wow, that was deep for a kid that went a couple of hours without seeing me, but I know how you feel. Missy and Sheldon don't know how to do the things we do. I almost made Missy cry by insulting her earlier. I think I hang around boys too much," I say getting ready to lay down. Georgie climbs into the bed with me and we silently talk for the rest of the night.

Special guest chapter 12 - new memories
Jack Grealish x female character
🔞 smut warning 🔞 I will warn with a ⚠️ when smut is going to begin.
After their lunch date the canal boat arrived back at the dock, "thank you so much Jack, I had such a good time, I'm just sad that our date day is over", Jack pulled her in to a cuddle, "not over yet princess, I want to show you a really special place to me", Ellie raised her eyebrows, "oh exciting getting personal with Grealish", Jack laughed, "really, think we're more than 'personal' babe", the two laughed as they walked back to Jacks car.
"I really appreciate today Jack, iv had so much fun, and it's been the best first date ever, hopefully many more", Jack took his eyes off the road for just a second to see the innocent smile on Ellie's face, "you can bet your life on it babe".
The couple kept driving for about 20 minute before Ellie realised where they were going, "no way! You are not taking me to Villa park!", Jack laughed at her excitement as he put the car in park, "your very excited to say your a Leeds fan", Too late, Ellie had already opened her car door and was stood in stood outside looking up at the building in awe, Jack came behind her and wrapped his arms around her, "I wanted you to see the thing I love as much as you love coffee", Ellie laughed as she turned around to Jack, "I feel really lucky that you brought me here, I know how special this place is to you", Jack looked over at his beloved home and back to Ellie, "yeah it is special but so are you, now I have my two favourites together, come on I have something to collect then il give you a tour", Ellie bounced around in excitement again.
Jack had left Ellie in then hallway with the trophies, she examined each one in detail, noticing all the pictures on the wall, her heart nearly exploded when she saw the pictures of Jack over the years, from the skinny baby soft skin teenager to the sexy, muscular man he is today with his gorgeous facial hair, "you checking out the freshly shaven Grealish?" Jack asked as he came around the corner, "I was comparing him to you now, and I just say the facial hair is working for you", Ellie said as she stroked his face, "where were you anyway, I got lonely" she said pulling a sad face, "oh well this might cheer you up, I have 3 tickets for next weeks game, if you wanted to come, you could bring your friends", 'ah this boy was the cutest!' Ellie though to herself, "what really! Yes, I will come watch you play", Jack smiled at her reaction before grabbing her hand and leading her to the pitch, "come on let me show you around".
Ellie couldn't believe the difference feeling by being on the pitch instead of looking down, yes it was empty but the feeling was still there.
"Let's get a picture together, I need something to look at this week", Ellie leaned into Jacks side as he stood his phone on the wall to take a selfie of the two, "wow, this photo is perfect, my perfect girl in my favourite place on this earth", Ellie looked at Jack with utter lust in her eyes, "thank you so much for showing me around Jack but I have a favour to ask", Ellie asked nervously, Jack looked confused, "yeah anything what's up?", Ellie leaned closer so she could whisper in his ear, "I want to make you scream my name", Jack was surprised at her outburst, very turned on but surprised, "You... um... ok, now? How?" He asked getting all flustered, "I don't know, a room? The car, hell id do it here", Jack couldn't fight this, it was eating them both alive, "ok.... Follow me".

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ smut warning ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
Jack lead Ellie to the showers of the changing rooms, "these are only used on match days but il lock the door to be safe", Ellie walked over to Jack, "I'm sorry for this but I can't ignore it and your so fucking sweet and sexy and I'm not going to see you for a week, I just need to hear you, sit down please", Jack follows her orders and sat down on the bench, seconds later Ellie appeared between his legs and began rubbing her hands over the now very visable bulge in his tracksuit bottoms, Jacks head immediately falling backwards, Ellie sat on her knees and she leaned forward and began leaving kisses on Jacks neck while still running her hand over the ever growing bulge, before long she stopped and returned to her previous position, she pulled Jacks waist band down just enough to free his erection which immediately popped up as she released it.
Ellie didn't say anything to Jack she just looked him dead in the eyes before running her tongue up his shaft, starting at the very bottom and slowly working her way up, Jacks jaw dropped as a heavy breath left his lips, once Ellie reached the top of his penis, she could already feel how wet it was, she knew he was desperate for her to fulfil her promise, and that she will.
She ran her index finger over the moisture on the tip of his penis before bringing it up to her lips, Jacks eyes fixated on her every move, slowly her tongue left her mouth as she licked the fluid from her finger tip, next she put her finger in her mouth and sucked any remaining fluid from it, she could see the pain in Jacks eyes, he was so turned on, he needed her to finish what she had stared, Ellie smiled up at him teasingly before returning to her previous task.
She lifted up Jacks penis and places it inside her mouth, working the shaft with her tongue, licking every inch of it, she began bobbing her head up and down, pushing his generous length to the back of her throat every now and again, each time she did she could feel Jack almost jump out of his seat, she began pumping his length as she sucked the very tip, this when Jack delivered on his promise, "ah! ELLIE! Oh fuck... Jesus Christ.... God El I'm so close... oh I'm guna! .... I'm coming....", before long Jack exploded in Ellie's mouth, earning a smirk from her before she swallowed his juices.
She stood up from her position and walked over to the water fountain, poured herself a drink and began swilling her mouth out and gargling the water, she then spat the liquid into the sink.
Ellie made her way over to Jack who had just pulled up his shorts and sat back down, she straddled his lap so she was facing him, "El, I have no words", he told her, she smiled at the man in front of her, "that was for me as much as much as it was for you, so thank you, I don't know what came over me, I swear I'm not like that but, you do something to me Jack, I can't resist you, everything you do makes me want you there and then", Jack grabbed her face and connected their lips in a passionate kiss, after a minute Jack pulled back, “I feel the same way babe, How am I going to manage all week without you?, I don’t want to seem too full on but something’s different with you, I know you aren’t with me for fame or money or what ever, it’s more than that I feel like iv known you forever and I already don’t want to be away from you, it kinda scares me” he laughed nervously, Ellie stroked his face, “no I feel the same, let still be quiet for the press sake, we both know how we feel and it’s only 6 days right?”, Jack squeezed her bum, “ye babe, come on let’s get back you have to get your things and I don’t want you driving in the dark, oh and thank you for giving me a whole new memory to smile about each time in in here”, the couple laughed as they walked out of the changing rooms.
The couple bumped into the first team physio Rob on the way out of villa park, “alright Jack, what you doing here?” He looked at the couple, Ellie completely froze, ‘oh no we’ve been caught, Jacks going to get fired and he will never see me again’ she thought to herself, Jack on the other hand had it all sorted, “picking tickets up for um….” He looked at Ellie, scared of what to say for the best, “a um… family friend, right El?”, Ellie looked between the two men, she warned Jack she couldn’t lie, “mmhm” she said as she nodded at the physio who sent a nod straight back to her, “right hoe” he said as he stared walking away before shouting back down the hall, “I hope you enjoyed the tour ‘family friend’”, Ellie looked at Jack, absolutely mortified, Jack on the other hand thought it was hilarious, he held Ellie under his arm and walked the two back to the car.

Chapter 6 of '100 Promises'
Chapter 5 | Chapter 7
Warnings: Swearing, bullying, I think that's it, let me know if I missed any
"Wow this place is amazing! So many games!" You awed, amazed by the amount of games and the lights. "Yeah, it's not anything like the one I went to on break, but since I can't take you there yet, I thought here would be good," he explained. "Thank you!" You exclaimed, hugging him and jumping up and down. He laughed, "Ok, ok. Calm down! What game do you want to play first?" You looked around, seeing all the different games, the people rushing from the machines and back. And you saw one that wasn't being used. You lead him over to it. "This one?" You asked. He nodded, and you two began on the game.
You walked into the grand lobby of the hotel, and sat on one of the waiting chairs. You watched in curiosity as people filed in their groups, cheering and laughing. Even if they'd lost a member, they were happy to be alive. A relief that it wasn't them. Maybe it was that everyone here had begun to accept their new reality. It made you smile in the slightest, that not all the people here were weak and useless. "Hey there new girl," someone said from besides you. "Hi Chishiya," you greeted without even turning to look besides you. "Hm? Attentive," he said. You didn't have to look to know he was smirking. "No, your voice is just very distinctive. It's soft, but also a very condescending undertone in it. Give people the illusion you know more than them," you stated, finally looking at him. "The hell did you study in college?" He asked with a laugh. "Major in forensics, minor in psychology. I'm pretty good at psychological mind fucking," you stated. He smiled, looking up. "Mind fucking? That's how I know you're friends with that idiot," he said. "Idiot? Niragi? No way. He studied game programming and engineering, and is 20 times smarter than anyone I've ever met," you said, surprised anyone could call him an idiot. How much did he change in the borderlands? Even then, his intelligence wouldn't have faded. So what did he do? "Hmm... maybe I'll change your opinion. You haven't met someone like me before," he said, looking at you. His eyes stared back into your own. It was like he was seeing into your soul, trying to really read into you. "I like a challenge. Impress me," you stated, a smirk playing on your lips. "Will do. Your friend is up on the roof for his patrol. I'll see you later at the pool. Kuina is quite fond of you. You two get along well," Chishiya said, walking off. You stood up, walking over to the grand stair case.
"I haven't slept in 4 days... gods help me," you groaned, running your hands up through your hair, it getting stuck from the knots. "Fuck me... SUGU! ARE YOU ALIVE?" you yelled. You heard a groan in response. He came out of his room, his hair sticking up every which way, his glasses were crooked on his face, and there were dark eyebags under his eyes. "I think... I think I'm alive..." he said. He was almost falling asleep standing up. "You need to take a nap," you suggested, standing up and walking over to him, yawning and rubbing your eyes. "No, I need to finish my project, you need a nap," he said, as you fixed his glasses. He could see that you were also running on no sleep. The dark eyebags under your eyes, your messed up tangled hair. It was different to say the least. You always looked nice, but college said no, please fuck up your sleep schedule to get this project done for me. Oh, and it a worth 75% of your grade! He hated school, but enjoyed what he was studying. Your projects took longer, and we're a bit gross at times, seeing as you had to take both forensics and psychology classes. "How about coffee instead then? I have a project to finish too..." you said, combing his hair out with your fingers, making it lay flat once more. "That sounds nice..." he muttered, the sensation of you playing with his hair almost making him fall asleep on the spot. "Yeah, I don't think you drinking that many energy drinks is healthy. Or not sleeping for four days. Let me get dressed, fix my hair, and we can head out, yeah?" You scolded at first, softening your tone.
"You look like shit," he insulted as you two walked to a coffee shop. "You're one to talk. When was the last time you washed your hair? Who are you, Snape?" You joked back, knowing his hatred for the character. 'He treated a kid like absolute shit because the kid's dad used to bully him in school. Oh, and his obsession with a girl who just saw him as a friend, but we're not going to talk about it.' He always said that when you asked him about why he hated Snape. It was funny to you because you had never met someone besides yourself that had that much genuine hatred towards a fictional character. "Ew, compare to anyone but him. Anyone," he said, genuinely grossed out by the fact you'd compared him to that character. "You really should take care of yourself more though. I need you to last me my whole life dude," you said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Mhm, if I remember correctly, promise 40 was if we were still 28 and we were single, we'd marry each other," he chuckled. You laughed. "Well, yeah. We keep our promises, you got that?" You said, punching his shoulder. "Ow, what was that for!" He whined, laughing. "I don't know. I don't want to go back to that apartment. I need to stay out of that, school is just... taking a toll on me. When we finish school and get jobs, I hope it's easier... Let's go on an adventure today," you said, leaning onto him. He thought for a bit. His project was almost done, and it was due in three days. He was running on no sleep, 5 energy drinks a day, and the occasional coffee you brought him.. Taking time off for you was worth it. He could finish the project tomorrow. You were worth that and more to him. "Sure what kind of adventure?"
"A little birdie told me you'd be up here," you said once you had opened the door to the roof. He turned around, facing you. "Really? Let me guess, Chishiya?" He stated. . He had his gun slung over his shoulder, and looked around boredly. You nodded. "How was your game?" You asked, going over, and sitting on the edge of the roof. He went over, sitting by you. "It went great. I'm alive, aren't I?" He stated sarcastically. You sighed, seeing as you were right. You had sensed it last night, but now it was more obvious. The games had changed him. For better or worse, you didn't know yet. "Mmm... and are the games any way to treat me differently? Because I'll hit you right now if you say yes," you threatened, glaring at him. He noticed your anger, but he guessed it could also be sadness. He'd left you alone for... how long had you said? 6 months? He didn't remember being gone for that long. Maybe time ran differently in the Borderlands than it did in the real world?
"No, it's not. Just know that I'm not going to act the same around you. I have a reputation here," he said, staring out. A light breeze brushed across the roof. A reputation? Well, you had noticed not many people coming up to talk to you all day. You heard whispers of 'that's the girl Niragi brought in. We should stay away from her.' So you assumed people feared Niragi. But you were curious. You know what they say, Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. "Tell me about it then. Tell me everything that's happened. All the good, all the bad, I want to know. So spill," you said. He sighed. He didn't want to tell you. A part of him was confused about it. He wasn't proud of the things he did, but on the other hand, he wasn't ashamed of them. The only thing stopping him was the fact that you were the only person who's opinion he cared about. The only person he had his whole life who cared about him the way he cared about them. You were the only reason he wasn't completely alone. "You want to know? Why?" He asked, putting up a defensive front. You shook your head, noticing it almost immediately. He had built walls in the games, you could tell. But that wasn't going to stop you. "Because you're my best friend, and I thought you had died. Because I want to know what you've been doing here? How'd you get such a high rank? When did you learn how to shoot? What's your specialty of the card games? Is it fun? Have you killed anyone?" You asked, going off on a small tangent. "Ok... let's do this. I've been playing the games, I got a high rank by playing the games, learned how to shoot here in the borderlands, surprisingly enough it's almost like shooting in a video game, my specialty are diamond games, yes it's extreme fun, and yes I have," he answered. You nodded, leaning your head on his shoulder. You had a suspicion there was worse he'd done, but you didn't want to know. He could keep it to himself until he felt comfortable to tell you. It felt like before, in a way... When you two would sit on the roof of some apartment complex down the street and watch the stars. Where your worries would go away, and you didn't have to worry about being the perfect daughter or the bullies. You were just (Y/N) and Niragi, the two kids. Because that's what you had been. Kids. When everything happened, you were kids. No kids should have been treated like how you two had been treated.
''I can't believe they broke your glasses," you muttered under your breath, brushing his hair out of his face. His bullies had gotten him while you were cleaning the classroom after class. He waited outside, but they decided to rough him up. The had beaten him up pretty badly. You had cleaned up the cuts and blood as much as you could, but it didn't change the fact his glasses were broken."It's fine..." he said, not wanting to look you in the eyes. "It's not fine, Sugu. You need your glasses, and glasses are expensive. Plus your dad..." you trailed off, seeing his hands beginning to shake. "Don't remind me..." he whispered. You hugged him, and whispered back, "You'll be ok. I promise."
"Don't make promises you can't keep, (N/N)."
"But I have to. Promise 1, we promise to keep each other safe, remember?"
He sighed, and nodded. You were scared for him. You knew somehow, you'd get roped into it. You looked up at him, seeing him pick at the cement on the roof. "Eventually... we're going to have to go back. We can't stay here the whole night," he said. You frowned. "I don't want to go back. We should run away. Just the two off us."
"(L/N)?" Someone called out from behind you two. You turned to face the person. It was Ann. "Hatter would like to see you... Alone."

I got a story idea earlier today, I posted two chapters on my wattpad today. Basically it's a story idea where Chloe has a twin sister. But the twin is actually nicer than Chloe and only does what Chloe tells her because she makes her. This is Stoneheart Orgins Part 2.Because of text limit I'll add two parts. If anyone has any questions about missing plot points you can just comment or I might post the first chapter. Also Chloe and Cameron aren't identical twins, they have the same hair color, but they have different eye color, they are fraternal twins even though they are the same gender. (If I got any facts about twins wrong please tell me.my mother is an identical twin so I don't really know much about fraternal twins as I've only met one set)
Cameron's POV:
On the TV:
Nadja: (standing to the side of a picture of one of Stoneheart's minions, tablet in hand) The stone beings are scattered all over Paris, and for the time being, they are showing no signs of movement. (a variety of pictures is shown) Police have cordoned off the area.
Father: (on television alongside officer Roger) We won't stop until we find a way to get these people back to their normal selves, but for now, we're not making much headway.
(The camera flips backs to Nadja standing next to a photo of Ladybug and Cat Noir.)
Nadja: Paris is relying on our new guardian angels, Ladybug and Cat Noir, to save us all. Our lives depend on them.
I'm going to go to bed for the night.. I just hope tomorrow will be better.
Ladybug and Cat Noir.. I believe in you. I trust you. I know you can save us.
--------------------------------------
Morning
I better get dressed before Chloe complains..
"Cameron! I set out your clothes!" I hear Chloe call out.
"Oh yay. What would I do without you?" I say sarcastically
"You would do nothing without me, because I always outshine you." Chloe says
"I'm just gonna get dressed." I groan
Tumblr media
I rush downstairs to the hall and am the first to see father.
"Hey dad." I say
"Cameron. Are you okay? You're not scared about everything going on right?" He asks
"No father, I trust you, Ladybug and Cat Noir. I know they will save us." I say
"Thank you sweetie, I'll do everything in my power to keep you and your sister safe." He says
"I know you will." I say giving him a hug.
---------------
A few minutes later..
Chloe comes downstairs.
"Hey is Jean whatever his name is ready with the car?" Chloe asks
"Yes, and remember to be safe dear." Dad says
"Yeah whatever. Come on Cameron!" Chloe says
I follow after Chloe and get in the limo.
-------------
In the limo
"And you better remember what we talked about last night." Chloe says
"Of course Chloe." I say
I forgot to write in my diary about the whole Stoneheart thing last night, but I guess I can do it later today. When Chloe isn't bothering me.
----
"Okay we're here." Chloe says
We exit the limo, greet Sabrina and enter the school.
"Woah look, it's Ivan." I say to Chloe.
"Let's go and see what the crowd around him wants." Chloe says with a suspicious looking smirk.
Oh no.. she's up to no good. She never is.
Especially when that look overtakes her facial expression. But I can't do anything no matter what she does... She warned me what will happen if I mess up again today. I just hope that she decides to be not so harsh for once, but the likelihood of that happening is slim to none unfortunately.
We walk over to the group.
"So you don't remember anything that happened? Alix asks Ivan.
"You were going ballistic! It was so cool!" Says Juleka.
"You were gonna crush me or something!" Says Kim
"I'm so sorry,  I wasn't myself." Ivan says
"I'm sure Ivan didn't mean to-" I start
Chloe Elbows me.
"What did we just talk about Cameron?" Chloe asks
"Oh right sorry. " I say sadly
"Once a monster, always a monster!" Chloe says
Ivan growls and storms off.
"Oh and don't let the door hit you on the way out!" Chloe says laughing
-------------------
Third Person POV:
(I TOOK THIS FROM THE TRANSCRIPT AGAIN)
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
Hawk Moth: Yes… feel the burn of those words. Lose your temper, Ivan! Your akuma awaits you. (taps on the cane that is holding the akuma)
----------------
Cameron's POV:
"How could you say such horrible things to Ivan? You're the real Stoneheart!" Alya yells at Chloe
"Yeah, I'm the one who broke Sabrina's dad's arm.Back me up Cameron." Chloe says
"Just because you got that dumb footage of those superheroes doesn't mean you should get all high and mighty." I say
Chloe laughs and blows a bubble in Alya's face.
I do feel bad for what I said, but if Chloe ever catches me apologizing, it will be the end of me.
"Ugh! You little brats!" Alya starts
"Look everyone! She's angry! She's gonna split her underwear and turn into a huge muscly monster!" Chloe says
Alya growls and storms off.
Suddenly I see Adrien appear and wave to us.
"Hey Chloe, hey Cameron!" Adrien says
"Hi Adrien." I say
"Adrikins! You came!" Chloe says running over to him to hug him
I see a bunch of people who recognize him start to gush over him.
-------------------
"Isn't it amazing that you, me and my twin sister are all in the same class?!" Says Chloe
"Yeah, it is, I already have two people I know." Adrien says with a smile.
"Wow you look a lot like your mother." I say in awe.
"What?" He asks
"She said nothing." Chloe says while glaring at me.
"Cameron?" He asks
"Yeah, Chloe's right. I said nothing." I say
"One more slip up Cameron." She threatens
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again." I say
"Yeah, it better not." She says
I could've sworn Adrien passed a shocked look at Chloe, but that could be me just hoping someone heard her for once.
As we enter the classroom and Adrien finishes giving random people his autograph, Chloe rushes in front of us.
"Look Adrikins! I saved you a seat right in front of me!" Chloe says
"Thanks Chloe." Adrien says sitting next to Nino.
I sit in my seat behind Sabrina.
"Hi." Adrien says looking at Nino
"So you're friends with Chloe and Cameron?" Nino asks suspiciously
I feel bad for him anyway..
Suddenly I hear Adrien making an issue of something, I turn around and see Chloe and Sabrina putting gum on Marinette's seat.
"Woah, what are you doing?" Adrien asks
"The brats who sat here yesterday need some attitude adjustment, so I'm gonna teach it to them." Chloe says
Adrien gets up.
"I really don't think that's necessary." Adrien says
"Adrikins, no offense but you have a whole lot to learn about school culture." She says
"Didn't you already insult Alya in the hall?" I ask outloud on accident.
"Cameron what was that?" Chloe asks threateningly
"Nothing important." I say
"That's what I thought." She says
I look at the top of my desk sadly.
-------------
Suddenly I hear the familiar voice of Marinette shout.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" I hear her say.
I look up and see Adrien picking at the gum on Marinette's seat.
Oh poor Adrien..
"Um-" he says
Chloe and Sabrina laugh.
Chloe glares at me for not laughing, so I just go along with it.
"Haha so funny you four." Marinette says
"Wait, I was just trying to get it off!" Adrien says
"Sure you were." Marinette says
Chloe and Sabrina keep laughing.
"Ugh, you're friends with the terrible two huh?" She asks
Honestly I don't blame her for that comment, but it still hurts everytime someone compares me to Chloe.
"Why do people keep saying that?" I hear Adrien quietly and sadly ask.
Marinette covers her seat with a tissue, and the two sit down
"See what I mean about respect?" Chloe asks
Adrien sadly sighs.
"Hey where's Ivan?" I ask
"How should I know where that brute is?" Chloe asks
"Why didn't you tell them that it was 'The Terrible Two's' idea?" I hear Nino ask
"I've known Chloe and Cameron since I was little... and while they may not be perfect, I can't throw them under the bus, they're my only friends. And I'm starting to think Cameron might not really have much to do with Chloe's plans.." I hear Adrien say.
He's the first person who has ever said anything nice like that about me..
"The terrible two are a package deal my man.. but I'm Nino, and it's about time you made some new friends." I hear him say
He deserves good friends. I wish I was allowed to have friends...
---------------
Third Person POV:
(FROM THE TRANSCRIPT)
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
Hawk Moth: Yes. This is what I've been waiting for. You know the way, evil akuma. Track down your prey! Fly away and evilize him!
(The akuma held in Hawk Moth's cane exits it and flies out the window.)
-----
Scene: The locker room. Ivan is upset. The akuma flies in and infects Ivan's wadded-up song lyrics.
Hawk Moth: (from his lair) This is your second chance, Stoneheart, and this time you have extra help. No one will stop you from capturing the love of your life. Just remember, I'll need something in return.
(Ivan is akumatized into Stoneheart again. He opens his eyes and all the other stone beings across Paris start waking up.)
I'll link the rest of this chapter when I post the rest of it.

The Art of Falling in Love-Finn Wolfhard
Chapter Five is here...
Chapter Six: The Grand Canyon
Chapter Seven is coming soon...
Word Count 2k
Warnings: Cussing, Pure Fluff
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When you awake, you feel the sense of two arms tightly wrapping around your torso. Some black curls were tickling your neck but you do not move, you simply sigh in peace. You reach down to the floor and grab your phone, viewing the time: 10:13 a.m. You unlock it and text your mother a good morning text. By the time the message delivers, Finn's arms move and he rolls you over.
Finn "Mornin' babes." He places a kiss to your forehead.
"Morning babe, how did you sleep?"
Finn "Fucking amazing," you both start laughing, "How 'bout you?"
"Really good...I don't even remember what we fell asleep to-"
Finn "It-oh wait…" he thinks for a moment, while you twirl one of his curls. "OH! The Office!"
"Oh yeah! As soon as we hit the bed I was out."
Finn "I know, as soon as I have you in my arms, I am just so content that-" you stop his sentence by crashing your lips to his. He kisses you back with pure love and affection. Using his thumb to trace design patterns on your cheek. When he pulls away, he kisses the tip of your nose as you giggle.
Finn "I think you already know what I was gonna say, don't you?"
"Yeah, and I feel the same way." He kisses you once more, before rolling out of the bed.
When you two get dressed and cleaned up, Oakes knocks on Finn's trailer door.
Finn "Come in, Oakes!"
Oakes "Hey! How was you guys' night?"
"Really good, and yours?"
Oakes "I didn't stay up past 9…"
Finn "So pretty fucking good?"
Oakes "Yeah dude! I haven't slept that good in a while."
Finn "We can say the same. Are you ready for going out today?"
Oakes "Uh yeah, I think so. Are we coming back tonight? Cause if not, I need to pack." He laughs.
Finn "Nah we will come back. I just wanna go to the grand canyon! I mean we are in Las Vegas...we have to!"
"I've never been, so I'm down!"
Oakes "Okay, then yeah I'm ready."
Finn "Okay, let's go."
__________________________________
Since we were already deep in the desert, it only took an hour and a half to reach the canyons.
Finn "We are almost at the park, you guys see it?!"
"Yeah!"
Oakes "You can tell by the way the valleys are getting taller and then deeper."
Finn "Oh, I see where we can park!"
Once he parks the car, you jump out of the car in excitement. You feel like a kid at the amusement park. You hear Finn laughing at you, making you blush and stick your tongue out at him.
Oakes "Alright, you lead the way Finn. You've been here like what...eighty times?"
Finn flips him off, "No! Like twice." He puts his backpack on his back: that is filled with water's and snacks. You wait for him to get situated and then he walks right next to you, grabbing your hand in his.
Oakes chuckles "damn..I should have thought this through."
"What do you mean?"
Oakes "I am third wheeling so hard right now!" You laugh into Finn's side and he laughs with you. You didn't think about that either, making you feel kind of bad.
Finn "Here, you wanna hold my other hand?"
Oakes "Fuck you."
You guys walk for about ten minutes until you reach the sightsee spot of the canyon: the ooh aah point.
Tumblr media
"Oh..my god."
Finn "Beautiful right?"
"Yeah, I've seen so many photos but nothing compares to seeing it in person."
Oakes is already taking pictures of the view while you and Finn take it all in first. The birds are flying above, some below the canyons. You spot a river and immediately feel the need to go down and see it.
"Can we go down there?"
Finn "Yeah, of course. It'll take a bit to hike all the way down but we'll get there."
"Okay."
Oakes "It is so beautiful out for this!"
Finn "I know! The last time I was here, it had to be over ninety degrees, it was miserable. Today is perfect though."
You take so many photos: some zoomed in and some capturing the whole view. Once you all are done that, you head in the other direction to find a path that leads down to the river.
You three hike for almost four miles before taking a snack break. Where you three settle at, was breathtaking: a curve in the canyon, overlooking the vast hills. Finn sits first, taking off the backpack and sitting it in front of him. You form a circle around him, unpacking the goodies that you guys brought.
Oakes "I feel like my legs aren't gonna work tomorrow.."
"That's a promise."
Finn "Hey, it's worth it-" You look where he points, "Look at our view."
Tumblr media
"Yeah, totally worth it babe. Thank you for taking us."
Oakes "Yeah, thanks man."
Finn "No problem. When we go to Amsterdam, we should go sightseeing there too."
"We definitely should! We can see everything because we aren't filming."
Oakes "That's right, I forgot. John literally just invited us...that like never happens."
Finn "Well we're special that's why."
Oakes "True that, we are the best. No one can tell me otherwise." After you guys take a long break, Finn gets up and puts his backpack back on.
"You want me to carry it this time?"
Finn "No, babe. I got it, I want you to have a good experience, not a backache."
"I've carried heavier, let me help please. You've been carrying it for over five miles." He hesitates but eventually gives in.
Finn "Fine but if it starts to bother you, give it back or give it to Oakes."
Oakes "Yeah Y/n, I don't mind taking a turn."
"Okay, let's go!"
By the time you, Finn and Oakes reach the water, you all fall to your knees from exhaustion. You are out of breath and your ankles are giving out. Finn pulls you into his side for you to lean on him for support.
Oakes "Holy shit guys...how the fuck are we going to get back to the car?!"
"Oh fuck.."
Finn chuckles, out of breath "Well it'll just take us longer but we'll get there."
"We have to rest all day tomorrow."
Finn "Babe, I'll carry you all day tomorrow if you can't walk." You giggle and kiss his cheek, when you pull back he kisses your lips. Oakes leaves you two so that you guys can have a moment. He whispers sweet nothings in your ear as he holds you from behind. The river is going slow and the sound is mesmerizing. The water is so blue it is shocking.
Finn "Y'know that river is beautiful but you are way more beautiful than any sight I have ever seen baby."
"You are so cheesey!"
Finn "Yeah but you love me for it."
"I do." He kisses your lips and then helps you up off of the dirt. Oakes walks closer and closer to the water, bends down and puts his hand in the stream.
Oakes "Guys.."
"Hmm?"
Oakes "It's so nice.."
"Really?"
Oakes "Yeah..it's not freezing or too warm!" Finn looks at Oakes and then at you and smirks. You all strip down to your underwear (thank god you wore a bra today..) and jump into the lake.
"Shit you're right!"
Oakes "I told you!"
Finn "God we needed this.."
Oakes "Damn right. I was like, fuck I need to cool off..so I stuck my hand in and I was like...oh hell yeah!" You three laugh and enjoy the sunset in the perfect river. The sky was orange and yellow. Fading perfectly together and you take in this amazing moment with your best friend and your boyfriend.
Tumblr media
Finn "Hey Oakes, think fast!" He splashes him so quick that he couldn't even comprehend what Finn was doing.
Oakes "Ah, you fucker!" As you could imagine, this turned into a splashing battle. You guys are literally having a water fight in a river in the grand canyon...talk about a perfect evening.
After the swim, you three dry off in the last bit of sun that you had left and put your clothes back on and head back to the car.
__________________________________
Eight full miles later, it is dark out and you three are absolutely exhausted.
Finn "Well it's a good thing that we didn't have to drive too far to get here in the first place."
Oakes "That's true. I had fun today, Finn. Thanks for inviting me, I know you didn't have to do that."
Finn "Of course, Oakes. I'll always invite you if it isn't our date night."
Oakes "Thanks." Once you get in the passenger seat, your legs go completely numb. You think to yourself, well Finn might just have to carry me all day tomorrow.
Oakes fell asleep in the backseat while Finn drove us back to the trailer park. You stayed awake with Finn, talking about how amazing today was and how relaxing tomorrow will be. The radio was low, just high enough for you and Finn to hear. The windows were down and the moon was shining bright. Finn's hand rested on your thigh as he continued to drive.
Finn "Wake up Oakes..we're home."
Oakes "Oh shit...sorry for falling asleep."
Finn laughs, "It's fine man, go on, go to bed we'll see you tomorrow."
Oakes "Good night guys."
You and Finn "Night!"
Once Oakes gets into his trailer, Finn notices your struggle to walk.
Finn "Hey, you stay right there."
"Huh?"
Finn "Just do it." He laughs and kisses your forehead and walks into the trailer while you lean against his old jeep. You wait for him to come out and you look at him confused, until he swiftly picks you up: bridal style.
"Aw babe.."
Finn "I told you I would, babe."
"You're too good to me, Finn."
Finn "Only because you mean the world to me."
"You mean the most to me, Finn" He kisses your lips quickly and then gets you two into his trailer. He places you down on the bed and starts to head out the door again. "Where ya goin'?"
Finn "I gotta get my baby clean clothes. Anything you want in particular?"
"No, you can just surprise me. Thank you."
Finn "No problem."
You can't get over how sweet he is to you. He has only treated you with such kindness, love and respect. You aren't used to getting this much love and attention because your past relationships were horrible. The guys were absent most of the time, barely showing you affection. They were barely boyfriend's because they didn't really treat you like Finn treats you. When Finn returns, he is holding the pair of pajamas that he met you in.
"....Finn-"
Finn "I told you, babe. You looked great." You almost tear up because he is literally the sweetest guy you have ever met. You quickly put them on and he takes in your appearance. "Yup..just as perfect as I remembered."
"You're just saying that-"
Finn "No I'm not, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever met Y/n. You could literally be wearing a trash bag and I'd show you off like you're a model on the runway."
"How did I get so lucky with you, babe?"
Finn "I personally think that it is fate. This is the art of falling in love, angel. It is unpredictable."
"You are so right." You walk over and wrap your arms around his neck and he leans down to kiss your lips.
Finn "Let's get into bed."
"Read my mind." He pulls you onto his chest and you melt into his embrace.
Finn "Good night, angel."
"Good night." He kisses your forehead and you both fall asleep holding each other. No show on the laptop, no sound at all, just peace and quiet.

Chapter Four- Part Three
Once the three Wheelers got home, Nancy and Karen rushed into the house, arguing, loudly. Phina walked inside behind them, a deep sigh escaping her lips. Her head was pounding due to the on going stress of the past few days, and the fight her mother and sister were having didn't help any.
"You lied to the police," Karen shouts.
"I didn't lie," Nancy defends herself.
"How naïve do you think I am," Karen yells, "you and Steve were just talking?"
Nancy stops walking and turns to her mom, "we slept together! Is that what you want to know? It doesn't matter!"
Nancy goes to walk upstairs again.
"It does matter," Karen says.
Nancy turns back to her mother, livid.
"No! It is all bullshit! It has nothing to do with Barb, and she's missing, and something terrible happened to her and I know it. I know it!" Nancy pauses. "And the only one who cares in Phina!"
Nancy tried to storm away, but Karen stopped her, "sweety, sweety. I'm listening."
"No!" Nancy's voice breaks. "You're not."
Nancy storms upstairs. Karen calls out after her, but Nancy doesn't listen. Phina pushes past her mom, following her sister.
"Phina," Karen pleads.
"Just leave her alone mom," Phina bites out at her, "leave us alone."
She runs up the stairs and walks over to Nancy's door. The door had been slammed shut and locked by her upset sister.
She knocks, "Nance, it's me. Open the door."
After a few seconds, the door unlocks with a click and Phina turns the handle. She pushes open the door, seeing her sisters tears instantly bringing tears to her own eyes. They sit down on Nancy's bed in silence. Comforting each other with just the others presence.
Nancy sits forward and grabs her bag, a look of complementation on her face.
"What are you doing," Phina asks her.
Nancy reaches in her bag, grabbing out the pieces of Jonathan's pictures, "he had one of Barb, Jonathan was the last person to see her."
Nancy shows her a piece, it had Barb sitting on the diving board, looking down at the water. Nancy let's Phina look at it for a second, thinking. She then starts to piece together the picture, the pieces fitting together like a puzzle.
"Grab me the tape," Nancy tells her sister.
Phina complies, grabbing tape from Nancy's desk and handing it to her. Nancy tapes the pieces together and Phina looks at the picture over her shoulder. For a minute it looks normal, like Barb was the only one there, but as she looked closer, she saw the tall figure standing behind her.
"Look," Phina points at the figure.
Nancy looks closely at it and turns to Phina, "is that what we saw?"
"I think it might be," Phina nodded.
"If it was there, then Jonathan might have seen it," Nancy says.
"Maybe, he didn't say anything about it to me though," Phina says.
"We could show him, ask him what he saw that night," Nancy says.
"Yeah, I guess we could," Phina sighs, "but Jonathan is going through a lot right now. If he doesn't want to speak, I won't make him."
Nancy nods, "got it."
"I'll call his house, see where he's at," Phina says.
She walks downstairs and calls the Byers' number. Joyce answers.
"Hello?"
"Hey Joyce, is Jonathan home?"
"No, no he's picking out a coffin," Joyce says, the pain showing in her voice.
Phina nods, "ok, thank you Joyce. I'll come by tonight if you want, I'll bring some food."
Joyce smiles, "thank you Phina."
"No problem at all Joyce," Phina says, "I'll see you later, bye."
"Bye."
Phina waited in the hall for Nancy to get Jonathan. She nervously played with her hands, glancing at the door every few seconds for Nancy and Jonathan. Being in the funeral home was feeding the bad feeling in her gut, if it got any worse she would soon expect the end of the world to happen.
When the two of them walked through the door together, she immediately noticed the awkward air surrounding them. They went and sat next to Phina, Nancy pulling out the picture and showing it to Jonathan.
They showed him the figure behind Barb, and Jonathan examines it carefully.
"I mean. It looks like it could be some kind of perception distortion, but I wasn't using a wide angle," he explains.
He shakes his head and looks at the girls, "I don't know, it's weird."
"And your sure you didn't see anyone else out there," Nancy asks.
"No, she was there one second, and then, gone. I figured she bolted," Jonathan tells them.
"The cops think that she ran away, but they don't know Barb," Nancy says, "and when we went back to Steve's, we thought we saw something."
Phina nods, the image of the monster flashing in her head. A shiver ran down her spine at the image.
"Some weird man. Or," Nancy sighs, "I don't know what it was."
"It was not like anything I've ever seen in those woods Jon," Phina tells him.
The theee go silent, Jonathan contemplating what they had told him. Nancy gets a little unnerved, and starts to shake her head.
"I'm sorry, we shouldn't of come here, today, I'm so sorry," Nancy says, grabbing Phina's arm.
"Nance wait," Phina says.
Nancy continues to pull her away but Jonathan's voice stops them, "what'd he look like?"
"What?"
"This man you saw in the woods," Jonathan says, his voice slightly shaking, "what'd he look like?"
"Um, I, I don't know," Nancy pauses, "like... he didn't have a..."
"Didn't have a face," Jonathan asks.
Nancy looks at him, slightly shocked, "how did you know that?"
Three teens went to the school, so Jonathan could use the red room to enhance the photo. Phina elected to sit outside the door, to make sure no one went inside and saw the monster in the photo. She also had elected the roll of match maker.
Phina could see the chemistry between her sister and her best friend. The tension between them was thick enough to cut with a knife, it was suffocating really. The only thing holding them back was Steve.
Nancy wouldn't leave Steve for Jonathan, no, she wasn't the type of girl to just jump from guy to guy. Nancy wanted to have a long lasting relationship, and since she already is in one, she wouldn't leave it.
Phina continued to think about Steve Harrington, listing off all the things that described him. Most of the words she thought of would make a sailor blush. Steve Harrington is the most ignorant, selfish, piece of shit person Phina had ever met, but she could never get him off her mind. He stayed there, like a parasite, waiting for the chance to take control.
She hated him, with a passion, but couldn't admit that she had another feeling for him, small compared to the hatred, but it was there. No matter how much she tries, it just won't go away, stinging like a paper cut on her heart.
All Phina wanted to do is punch his perfect face, so it would leave her mind for once. Or to rip his hair out, so she could stop thinking about how soft it might be. She wished that she didn't know him at all, so she could live in peace.
She groaned and let her head fall onto the desk in front of her, her forehead smacking the surface. The door opened behind her and Jonathan and Nancy emerged.
Phina stood up quickly, "did it work?"
Nancy holds out the picture for Phina to look at it, "it's what we saw Phina."
Phina nods, she looks them both in the eyes, before turning her head back to the picture, "so what do we do?"
"We go to Will's funeral tomorrow, and we'll come up with a plan then," Jonathan tells them.
The girls nod, "got it."
A warm hand grips mine, adrenaline pumps through my bones as we run for our lives. An awful, truly terrifying screech echoes behind us. The hand around my own tightens, we jump, and then I'm falling.
   "Phina!"
The hand is gone and I'm alone, laying on the cold hard ground, in indescribable pain. I sit up, screaming out in pain, my eyes instantly finding the middle school I laid in front of. One single thought goes through my mind, the kids.

a 2021 update
Ah, so I have forgotten to update in a million years, per usual
~ Random thought section ~
I woke up this morning and read this tweet thread about Alice Wu's director's note for her movie The Half of It. It's streaming on Netflix, and I highly encourage to go watch it, it's probably one of my favorite movies from the past few years. Anyways, she talks about how she produced the film while digesting the heartbreak of a friendship breakup - the whole thread hit me on a different level, but here's a quote that really hit home for me, especially a month from graduation: "The end of the film is each of their beginnings. And for my characters, I can think of no happier ending." We spend a lot of time worrying about the end of things and the uncertainty of things to come. Yet, there was a time where we worried about the exact same things for the very chapter we are now so nervous about leaving.
1. I'm nervous about leaving school and starting the..... rest of my life???
2. I'm nervous that my friends will slowly fade away. I'm nervous that they'll get on with their lives and I'll be slowly still trying to get my bearings, stuck in limbo.
3. I'm nervous that starting adulthood will be difficult because there are no more college orientations, no more awkward freshman dinners, perfect opportunities to meet new friends who are just as nervous as you are.
In writing this out, I felt a sense of deja-vu, like I had written these words before. So I just looked back at some of my posts right before entering college, and lo and behold:
08-18-2016: Today I said goodbye to one of my closer friends, and i realized that without even knowing it, Sunday’s party was the last time I would see some of my closest friends. It’s awful that way, that you don’t even know it’s the last time until it’s passed, and you’re left to pick up the the end of a chapter of a relationship from the scraps of an unexpected and improper farewell.
I feel like I’m in a weird twilight zone between college and high school where my present friends are all beginning to fade away to move on in their lives, and I’m yet to really meet anyone in my class yet, so at the moment,,,,,,there really isn’t anyone.
I wrote this less than a week from moving to Boston, and it's so shocking to me that I also experienced the "unexpected and improper farewell" part in senior year. It's almost the exact same thing that happened in COVID and is continuing to happen. You never know when the last time you might see someone might be, except instead of consolidated over the course of one pre-college summer, it's over the course of more than a year, the time that this pandemic has been going for.
And I hate that I said the "fade away and move on" thing verbatim, literally nearly five years ago. To be honest though, it's true, a lot of them did fade away and move on. But so did I, I wasn't left behind. To some extent, I was the one who did a lot of the moving away. And like many things in life, a couple of us continue to hang around, and maybe our friendships cycled in and out over college, but have come around again after a few years. I guess those are the ones that you know will stick around. The limbo period between chapters is a hard one, and it's nice to know that present-day me isn't the only one who has felt this. It's nice to know that past me met so many incredible people so fast, that I forgot this limbo period happened.
I know this part is getting a little long, but there's just a couple more snippets I want to share:
08-13-2016: I recently read Marina Keegan’s essay The Opposite of Loneliness, and one line resonated with me a lot: We’re so young. It seems silly and almost pretentious for me to think that this party would be so final, and yet it does, even though we have decades upon decades to build and connect or reconnect.
We’re so young, but that doesn’t stop the understanding that we are going to a new chapter in our lives and that it’s going to redefine our relationships. I hope it doesn’t change them too much.
I suppose much of the anxiety of going to college results from having to build my own community from the ground up again.... I tell myself the pieces will fall together and everything will be ok, but it doesn’t stop the increasing anxiety from, well, increasing.
I loved this collection of essays, if you haven't read it, I recommend you do. In moving around for so many years, I haven't been able to keep a lot of books in my possession, but I kept this one because that essay really hit home for me, and continues to, no matter what part of life I'm currently experiencing.
I think moving to college did change my relationships. But change is not a bad thing - your childhood friendships, the few of them that survive, end up strengthening and growing into adult friendships. And in the end, isn't that better than not changing at all? I'm hoping that a few of my college friendships will do that too - we'll go from college friends to family friends, and my kids will call them "Aunt" and "Uncle" and they'll grow up watching their parents talk for hours in the front yard before finally getting in the car and leaving for home.
08-13-2016: But hey, this is part of what I signed up for, I knew I wasn’t going to have much of an initial safety net, but I’m sure I’ll survive. We, as humans, always find a way to adapt right?
I think I survived and adapted. Not in the way I saw things going, but we can never really fully predict things, can we? One day, I'll learn to give myself a safety net for the next chapter, I'm sure. Today's not that day though.
Going back to her director's note, there was one more thing that just struck an emotional chord for me:
Tumblr media
Fun fact, Alice Wu actually went to MIT for a bit before transferring to Stanford, and then she became a software engineer at Microsoft! I relate a little too much to her. Maybe one day I too will dump coding for my art form. But for now, in this above example, I relate far too much. I worked on my album, Imperfect, a little too obsessively this past winter while trying to digest the throes of heartbreak from one of my own friendships that ended. I still don't know if there was an ending for that friendship. I think I've spent a lot of time trying to put off the end, like a TV series that just keeps adding more and more seasons. Regardless of whether it needs to end or not (which I have not decided and will continue not to do so), I spent a lot of time thinking about who I was before and after that friendship, and I've concluded that a lot of who I am now, what my life looks like now is a result of that friendship. I'll give you a hint: I really like who I am now, compared to who I was before, and it showed me a lot of parts of life and friendship that I never expected would happen. That friendship was (is?) one of the most beautiful things that has happened to me in my life.
Let's finish off this reflective post with a quote from Khalil Gibran, that's kinda related to that point about how transformative the past can be, and how we're far better off in future chapters of our lives because of it.
When you part from your friend, you grieve not;
For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain.
Again, if you haven't read his collection of poems, you should absolutely 100% drop whatever you're doing right now and do so! Wow, I really just assigned an entire reading list in this post.
I hope in making this movie, Alice found peace. I would hesitate to say that I found peace when making my album. I wrote a lot of songs about the heartbreak I felt from that whole experience. But the last song I wrote, "Best Friends," ends the whole thing on a positive note, that at the end of the day, I remember how my friends (past and present) literally saved my life and how things are looking a little better, and whatever happens, I hope my best friends will be there waiting for me, whoever they end up being.
- OK I PROMISE I DIDN'T SET OUT TO BE 100% SO EMO -
But yeah, I haven't really been doing much otherwise? I guess just tryna stay alive, I've been cooking a lot and cooking a lot of good good food, I did apply to an MBA program, I got my COVID vaccine (second shot this week!), I am excited to announce I am publishing a paper in my MEng lab, which is a really big accomplishment imo, I am thriving in my (1) econ class that I kept, even though I didn't realize we had readings assigned like for the past month, I went to try pastries from this Turkish bakery, I biked, probably, 15 miles over the past month, I've read at least 4 or 5 books this year so far, and am hoping to knock another one out today. Currently dying because trying to finish my thesis in like . a week, which is looking a little challenging, but I'm sure it'll happen!!!??

The Strange Family Values Chapter 3 The Fairy Eater
Artist name: Matilda Sparrow
Disclaimer: This Chapter is an FF for the world of Hp. It is like an extension. you'll find out why in the later stories. but the stories and characters so far are mine.
I love the HP stories so much I just wanted to live it through at least one chapter,
I love Hp so hard, and I am in no way near the level of greatness obviously, but when we love stuff so much we want to be part of it as well. I hope you like this FF.
Norway, Bergen, Mystik Kyster, August, Present Day.
Scene 1
It was a beautiful cloudy day, the trees were bowing and some of the vines were trying to drink the water from a tiny stream as it quietly made its murmur in the forest. It was one of those days where you can feel the coolness of the air in your skin and a day where you can also hear the rustling foliage as the wind passed by.
We see a girl's feet entering the forest.
Next, we see a little bear with patches, being held by the little girl.
Then, we see a woman's feet join the little girl.
It holds her hand.
The woman's dress was peachy cream and sheer it had a few flowers, leaves, moss, and vines as if she rolled around them and it got stuck there for good.
They both skip happily and their laughter rings as they go further and further away... deeper into the forest.
Scene 2
Four children were running in the forest.
They were swift and seemed to defy time.
Lupus jumped over a tree branch and seemed to lead. Matilda sucked her teeth out of irritation. She noticed Lupus wanting to transform, His pupils pitch black and the veins around his eyes are becoming darker.
"No cheating Lupus!" Matilda exclaimed.
She tried to outrun him, but Lupus was quick and dashed using all four of his arms and legs. They reached a hill and continued to outpace each other. The twins followed and they hastened as fast as they could until they reached the edge of the cliff, It was steep and Lupus charging at an unbelievable pace, almost fell, but Matilda caught him, spreading her regal magnificent black wings.
"Good Catch D." Lupus said.
"What?" Matilda was confused.
"D for Death. Coz you look so dead..." He snickered then ordered, "Can you put me down now?"
Matilda looked at him mischievously and replied "Down there?" referring to the precipitous space between the cliff and the rocky shores below.
"If I was Death, I wonder what would happen if I let go of you."
"You dare?," Lupus paused then continued. "Meh. I'll live." Lupus sneered proudly.
Then she let him go.
"shiiiiiiiiiit!!!!". He screamed as he slowly fell but Matilda dove quickly and caught him on his sleeve.
And then she laughed at him mockingly. It was a fruity laugh, She was completely elated.
Lupus scowled and was angry. "You're dead Matilda!"
He tried to hit her on the head, but she evaded and kept laughing.
Then she threw him off the hill.
Lupus sneered at her while he cleaned himself off.
small little laughter was also heard in the background, The twins were cackling.
Scene 3
Earlier.
Mr. Strange was lounging in his luxurious wine bathrobe, it had accents of gold and his soft hair was flowing freely as the wind kissed it, he looked like he smelled really good, even though he just woke up. He was holding a book titled, "How to catch a prey" while he had a scrutinizing look on his face and murmured, "pfff...stupid." referring to the book, but continued to read it anyway, after which he changed his attention to Caedmon and Waldron, he smiled then coyly asked the babies. "Did you guys enjoy your first meal last time?"
Mr. Strange was a serious man, but when it comes to the twins he is not shy to show his affections.
The family was all sitting in the dining room, having their breakfast. It was a cloudy morning, It was always cloudy lately, Morgana made it so. The adults were having steak. Raw steak for Sullivan of course and Mr. Strange was the only one having coffee with blood, or blood with coffee. or blood with rum or vodka. I'm not so sure. while the kids enjoyed bacon pancakes, sausages, and sweet honey syrup.
"Yes, Poppa!" said Caedmon
"When will we eat human again?" says Waldron
"Aw did you enjoy it that much Waldron?" asked Mrs. Strange.
"Yes, it made me stronger lately, see." Waldron showed off his muscles by making a strong man pose.
"Me too!" Caedmon excitingly shared and showed a strong man pose as well.
"Ahhh, let me check!?" Mr. Strange playfully replied, then he carried the babies using both his hands while pretending to fall because of how heavy they were. "Oh my goodness! you're so heavy! agh! you guys are so strong!"
The twins giggled as they squeezed Mr. Strange's face.
Scene 4
Later that afternoon.
"What are you guys wearing?" Matilda referred to what Caedmon and Waldron have decided to put on their heads.
"We found it there..." Caedmon pointing at the forest.
"Hmmm." Lupus sniffed. "I smell blood."
Lupus looked at Matilda, "It's tainted."
Matilda surprised, "Did you guys eat someone?" she suspiciously asked.
"No... not without Mums and fathers permission," defended Waldron.
"Let's throw these things away..." Matilda hurriedly threw it off the cliff.
"Hey?!" Caedmon said.
"Those are tainted Caedmon, someone died in them, be careful next time okay?"
"Ok.." the twins replied conjoinedly.
"Did you eat someone Lupus?" she asked.
"No... maybe mum or father did, let's ask
Lupus got out a small smartphone and texted.
Lupus: Mum did you guys eat some kid in the forest?
Scene 5
At home:
"Sullivan, have you eaten someone recently?"
"No, Madame. I actually have lots of stocks in my home fridge. Mostly Deer brains Ma'am, nothing tainted. Not without telling."
Mr. Strange looked up from what he was reading and looked at his wife.
"Lupus is asking me if we ate some people, did you eat someone?" Morgana asked Mr. Strange.
"Not here, outside of Bergen, somewhere in Trondheim, but not in this town." Replied Mr. Strange
"Agh, that is why I told you to pick somewhere where there are not too many people..." Morgana complained.
"Well, our house is isolated." Mr. Strange defended.
"But there are too many people in Bergen, too much trouble. we should've just moved to Iceland." Morgana confided.
"Ah, but what will we eat there? there are already too many magical creatures there. We cannot eat them that would be like cannibalism, There is even that school for wizards there. If they find out we ate people, they would probably hunt us."
"We don't know that. I heard their laws are much looser compared to the ones in that American wizarding school." Morgana defended.
"You are not thinking of making our children study there?" Mr. Strange ranted.
"Well just a thought, maybe for a change?" Morgana asked.
"No! Morgana, we have talked about this." Mr. Strange had a firm and concerned tone. "It is too dangerous, we shall not be bounded by their laws. We come from bloodlines of Gods and dragons, Amongst many other things. I refuse for my children to be exploited and experimented by other Lowly pathetic creatures."
"Hush now, Mortimer Strange, then we shan't. No need to be aggravated. Besides, I prefer that British wizarding school." Morgana jested lightly.
"Morgana!" Mr. Strange jeered impatiently.
"Just kidding love, why too serious?." Morgana smiling coyly at her husband, touching his arm, calming him with a spell.
"I apologize for raising my tone. but you know how I feel about these things." Mr. Strange starting to calm down.
"It's quite ok love. I actually find it quite adoring, rawr." Mrs. Strange flirting and making a cat paw.
"Oooh well, in that case, Mon Cherie. Let me ravage you violently, *roar*" Mr. Strange making lion noises to please her wife. No, not those lion noises that people make, its literally real lion noises like a hungry beast. The Savageness pleased Morgana so. Then she took her wife in his arms and nuzzled her neck.
Morgana giggled then Motioned Mr. Strange to wait."Oooh, hold that thought."
"Hmmm, better text them." Morgana raised her phone.
"Tell them to stay away from the place where someone was eaten." Mr. Strange implicated in a concerned tone, looking up from Morganas Neck.
"Mmm, kay," said Morgana and proceeded to text.
Morgana: Lupus, no we haven't eaten anyone. Also, your Father strictly said not to go to where the human was eaten.
Lupus: k. Mum.
Then Morgana smiled at Mr. Strange. "You were saying?"
"Ah yes!" Mr. Strange giggled and agreed, then continued to ravage her wife.
Scene 6
In the forest:
"Mum said not to go to where those children got eaten?" Lupus informed everyone.
"Not now, maybe tomorrow. If it ate now. It won't eat again. until tomorrow. " Matilda paused then continued "Depending on what it is. "
"It can eat tomorrow or maybe next week." Lupus added.
They started walking home on an unbeaten path through the forest, Matilda and Lupus had a small conversation while the twins played while following them.
"The 2nd blood moon is pretty near. If it's going to eat it's going to be soon. I know coz I've been growing strong recently." Lupus announced.
"Oh, thats why you're being bitchy lately." Matilda ripped, then the twins giggled.
"Hahaha Omged, I'm Manyilda I'm so funny!" then continued "And if you must know I am not bitchy but angry the sun rose at four am today, It wakes me up too early and I can only run around for a few hours at night
and then its morning already."
"Yes, us too." the twins eerily replied.
" Ugh you don't have to tell me about it," Matilda replied.
"But don't worry babies, come fall it will be pretty normal, I'm guessing, we just moved here so I don't know, but in winter I read that there will be darkness, its called the winter darkness..." Matilda informed them.
The twins and Lupus eyes widened.
"That means, the sun doesn't come up at all in the middle of winter" Matilda explained.
"ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh" The twins and Lupus replied.
"By the way don't forget to tell Mum about the 2nd blood moon, you lose control on that day, you have to be chained up, like a dog." Matilda quipped. "Remember the last time?, hahaha, You ate the neighbor, your friends family, hahaha" Matilda laughed heartily unable to control it, while she spoke.
The twins giggled with her like an echo.
Lupus sneered at Matilda.
"I'm not the only one you know, Father goes crazy on that day, and who knows maybe you will go crazy too."
"Not yet, I'm still partly human. It's disgusting. but I'm not looking forward to my first death either.
"You know what I am looking forward to?" Matilda mischievously voiced.
"Ha!" they both gasped. They remembered something.
"The blood harvest!." they spoke together.
"As much as I don't like, mingling, I'm looking forward to the sacrifice, plus the light of the moon will make us stronger, and... it's finally the day that I will ask our uncles to give us their blood."
"I don't think they'll give us their blood yet Matilda.? I don't think they will give you their blood ever." Lupus stating that what she said was ridiculous.
The twins were now confused."What's a blood harvest.?"
The kids reached their house.
"It is what it says it is Waldron. We will harvest blood and bask in the light of the moon so we can grow stronger." Answered their Mother as they arrive on the porch of their house.
"Aaaah" the twins replied together.
"Also there's a ball, with lots of Vampires, Witches, and otherworldly creatures."
"Aaaaaaaaah. party!" the twins eerily said together.
Scene 7
"Augustus..."
A woman with curly red hair, in her mid-thirties, wearing a grey plaid dress was looking for her child.
"Augustus?!" the sound of her voice rang loudly in the air as she called out to him, we zoom out of her house and zoom in to where Augustus is, he was eating berries in the forest. He was fat, and plump, with red hair, he had freckles on his face and his cheeks and his mouth were covered with blue and red juice, from the berries that he was engulfing.
He ate and enjoyed what he was eating and he put some of it on his shirt pocket and he wiped some of the juice on his pants and shirt, it was messy, but he kept chewing full and delightfully enjoying the berries, then he looked up, a woman was looking down on him, It was the woman with the flower dress.
The boy smiled an awkward smile, and the woman reached out her hand.
Scene 8
WTFS station.
A woman was looking at her reflection in a vanity Mirror.
Pulling the skin on her face, to see her younger self, hoping her wrinkles would vanish.
She walks into a booth to go to use the toilet.
Two women and a child entered the powder room, A woman with wild red hair, named Melena wore a simple gray dress and talked to a woman with short blonde hair and bangs named Lise, she was wearing a sheer black lingerie top, a short black skirt and high heels.
"Ugh can you believe how she treated us yesterday, I said hi and she didn't even notice me. She's too proud". Melena ranted.
"I know right". The woman with the blonde hair fiddled with her makeup, placing lipstick on her lips, and checked how she looked like in the mirror, then responded, "She still thinks she's all that but she's spent, that's what old age gets you."
"How long has she been an actress?" the red-haired woman asked.
"I don't know for a long time I guess."
"Her skin is wonderful though I'll give her that." The woman with the red hair confessed.
"Pff," The woman with a blonde hair objected. "That's science for you...but pretty soon you know, all that sciencey stuff will stop working and inevitably they will end up looking weird."
"Ah, you're too harsh Lise."
"And you are too nice, Melena."
Lise bobs her head from side to side as a sign of disapproval. "Myrka
Drummond does not deserve your kindness, she has been nothing but been rude to us, she is just a passed off diva."
The woman in the bathroom booth fumed, her left eye squinted every so slightly, It was Myrka Drummond.
She looked out secretly and stopped herself from arguing with these women, and told herself that she had class and was not beneath these pitiful creatures.
"Trine lets go." Lise motioned to a child that she is with.
Scene 9
"Please, he has been gone for more than a whole day. I have a bad feeling about it."
"Maam, are you sure he's not just playing at his friend's house."
"Noh, Augustus doesn't have lots of friends, he goes to the forests and collects berries and comes home dirty, at exactly four, five or six give or take, that is his routine, and he has not come back yet for a few hours now."
Detective Alexander sits on his desk and overhears a red-haired woman complaining to his colleague. They were in the Police station, with pale white lights and white walls with accents of gray. There were also simple tables and chairs. It was a depressing small office, with people all busy with their office job, slaving away like zombies, some walking here and there to get coffee or to go in or to go out to do their duties, its where time slowly passed and nobody seemed to care.
"Hello Ma'am, My name is Detective James Alexander, and you are Miss?"
"Mrs. Melena Hansen."
"What's happening here?" Detective Alexander looked at Melena and the officer interviewing her.
"Mrs. Hansen said her child has been missing for a few hours now."
Melena worried, interjected "He has been missing for hours! Augustus has a routine, he always comes back, at this hour!."
While the woman was talking, the chief came out of his office.
"Alexander, Sandvik, Aadberg..." The chief called three names, "Christiansen called in a Homicide in the Myrkviðr forest, in Mystik Kyster. Go now Chop chop..."
The chief had a grey suit on and had grey hair and had a friendly face but even though it was friendly, he looked tired as if he had gone through a lot through the years.
The detective looked at the woman, and the woman covered her mouth, upset, and was about to cry.
"Where did you say you live Ma'am."
"In Mystik Kyster." The woman started to tear up.
"Ma'am there's no reason to be upset, wait here. "
Alexander shortly entered the chief's office, "Chief did Christiansen happen to give a profile, of the victim? "
"Yes, It's ah, very unfortunate, it was a young girl. aged about four to six. Go there now Alexander, let's catch this sonno' of a bitch."
Detective Alexander went back to the lady, who was much calmer because of the information, "Ma'am this is officer Bohle.." Detective Alexander referring to the middle-aged man, with thinning yellow hair, pale skin and had a white uniform and blue vest on, sitting at the desk.
"He will help you." He reassured the woman.
"Bohle check out the Madames area," Alexander asked Bohle.
"Sandvik, Aadberg, let's go..." Detective Alexander motioned to his colleagues, and they left the station.
Scene 10
A big wooden door was left open, sun shone inside the wooden house, the cool wind crept inside which can be felt on the wooden floor, it was a big cabin, the smell of flowers and the thick forest with different color of greens in the surrounding emanated the house, Nissa was playing with her doll, she was wearing a turquoise tutu skirt and a matching shirt, she saw something outside, was it a firefly? she asked herself. She went outside, there was laughter.
Then she saw it just above their pool.
Its eyes blinked.
what was it?. It looked like a flower with eyes. It was a pixie.
It had a long body but no smaller or bigger than a flower. It's olive arms and legs seemed like flower stems.
It had a long slim lithesome body and fingers. It smiled at her, It had scary pointy teeth but its face was friendly, it had cute black orb-like eyes and its head was purple and white that looked like petals and it had wings,
It beckoned Nissa to come.
Nissa looked back at their house and it flew around her and then she motioned for Nissa again, inviting her as if to play.
It went inside the thick forest and Nissa followed It.
Scene 11
"Nissa!!!"
Kalen screamed and called out to his sister. Kalen was looking for his sister.
He had noticed something strange, normally there would be the noise of a girl jumping up and down, running around and making cute noises, but while he was playing his pocket game after a while he had noticed it was incredibly quiet in their house.
"Nissa!" he called once more.
she saw Nissa's doll on the floor near the pool.
"Where did she go.?" He asked himself with a confused look on his face.
Scene 12
Detective Alexander looked at the scene with disgust and a heavy heart. He kept silent and was pensive, he asked himself who would do such a monstrous act.
CSI units Aadberg and Saandvik collected physical evidence from the site, He saw the body being covered while Police Officer Christiansen was explaining the situation to the Detective.
Medical examiners and forensic units were already in the area as well.
"She's abot four or six, a female child, poor kid. she didn't deserve this, her guts were all out. What kind of Monster has done this, I heard this done in the city a few weeks ago. do you reckon it would be a bear?" Christiansen asked but was not hoping for a reply.
"I dunno but this gives me the hibbee jibees," Aadberg replied.
Detective Alexander started to look around while Officer Christiansen was talking then he noticed something out of the bushes.
It was a brown object with patches, It had blood on it.
he wore his gloves and picked it up and murmured.
"Gotcha!."
"Aadberg send this to forensics."
Scene 13
Philomena Opened the door, It was Detective Alexander.
"Hello, Detective. How may I help you?"
"We just wanted to ask. If you've seen any fat boy roaming around or if your nephews maybe know him..." The Detective inquired.
"Not that I know off, wait lemme call them," Philomena replied.
"Matilda! Lupus!, Detective Alexander is here to ask some questions, can you guys come for a second, like normal people coz were normal."
The detective had a confused look on his face.
"Coming!" Lupus can be heard from afar.
Lupus and Matilda appeared slowly behind Philomena.
"Hey, wazzup?!" Lupus greeted Detective Alexander.
While Matilda just stared blankly.
"Hey, what's up buddy.?" Detective Alexander greeted them and made a fist bump to Lupus to make the mood lighter. which Lupus gladly accepted and then pretended it exploded afterward.
Matilda rolled her eyes and moved her head from side to side as a sign of disapproval.
Detective Alexander was easily entertained and smirked but continued "I was wondering if you know this boy," The detective showed a picture of the boy.
"His name is Augustus Hansen, He's been missing. He..." He stopped himself because he did not want to scare the kids.
"No, we don't know him," Matilda replied.
"No, bruh, we haven't seen him." Lupus remarked.
"C'mon Lupus..." Matilda motioned to Lupus because they were going out. Today was the day that they were going to look for the murderer.
"Aaah I wouldn't do that If I were you..." Detective Alexander warned, "I'd like to warn you guys, as well," The Detective now averting his eyes to Philomena, "There has been m-u-r-d-e-r in the area, it was unfortunate but some creep has been kidnapping kids in the area.
"We can spell you know." Matilda scrunching her face as she was slightly insulted. "ugh."
"Uhm.. yah, so it's best if you make your niece and nephew stay home. Uhm. Ms.?" The Detective was unsure of what to call her even though the Detective knew her name. Philomena took her glasses off for a second to wipe it with her shirt and For the first time The Detective saw her up close in broad daylight, and he noticed how beautiful she was, her skin was so soft and her lips so plump and pink, her eyes were big and blue, and her cheeks were blushing pink, its almost as if she came out of a painting, her hair was unruly but even this looked beautiful to him, she was enchanting, he never noticed this because of her shabby clothes and huge glasses. He was overwhelmed a bit, Then when she wore the glasses again, he realized he was staring. when he brought himself back together, he started to say his goodbyes.
"Mena..." She looked at the picture and said "I will try to remember his face and well let you know if anything comes up" then finally smiled.
The detective started to think to himself. "Shit. You have to go."
"Well thank you for your time Ms. and nice seeing you again." he handed out his hand for a handshake.
"It was nice seeing you too, Detect..."
She held his hands, then stopped, a vision came, one that she didn't expect to see, something that made her blush which made her pull her hand away from the detective.
It made her google-eyed, and she laughed incoherently and then started to talk nervously.
"Ahah sorry, vertigo.." She reasoned
"Are you okay?" the Detective asked out of concern.
"Yes, yes, yes I just get vertigo sometimes." There was a silent stare that seemed like forever and Matilda stared at Lupus mischievously and he snickered quietly...
"Let's go" he motioned to Matilda, as they quietly tiptoed away...
but their Aunt noticed. "Ah Matilda, Lupus... come inside.!"
"Uuh, Noooooooh?!" Matilda sarcastically replied, then Matilda and Lupus ran.
"We won't go, Far Mena!" Lupus assured her aunt as they ran away.
"Uh, I'm not sure thats a good idea.? " Detective Alexander asked Philomena.
"Do you want me to come after them.?"
"Uh, no! no! it's okay, I'm sure they'll be fine. I'll just run after them." Mena replied knowing full well that they can handle themselves.
The Detective felt a little nervous because he didn't want another dead body, but he thought he was just being paranoid, so he just said." Just look for them ok? the situations sorta serious..."
"Sure... sure..." Philomena reassured.
Then the Detective made his way to his car.
and murmured "Get your shit together Alexander. " while entering his car.
Scene 14
"Start sniffing dog." Matilda mocked her brother playfully.
he glowered at her for a few seconds but continued to do it anyway. He started to smell the air then,
"This way.." Lupus Motioned.
It was mid-afternoon and they ran and ran until they ran deep into the forest, the color of the trees was warm, Some of the trees were so old that their trunks were so wide, most of the trees and rocks were even covered with moss, some trees were like skyscrapers of the glade, high, mighty and proud, and some were young and looked friendly, and the leaves rustled as the wind danced around them. You could barely see the sky because of the shady glades and leafy canopies. They could hear singing jays, scampering hares, and scurrying squirrels. There were mushrooms of different colors growing on some of the tree trunks, some were vegetating on the ground, there were different berries in the bushes and the grass floor was almost covered with brown, green and red leaves and you can see nuts scattered here and there. It smelled of green grass and leaves, the peace of the forest was soothing and comforting. The twigs crunched under their feet as they walked and then they heard someone.
"Nissa!"
"Nissa! Where are you?!"
It was Kalen Maurelle.
"Psst," Matilda called him.
Kalen Maurelle was surprised, a shot of arrow flew past Matilda's face directly puncturing a tree.
"Woah!" Lupus grinning wildly. " Nice shot bruh!"
Matilda glowered at his brother and then to Kalen.
"Wtf was that man.?" Matilda
"Sorry, I was startled..." Kalen replied.
"Pfff, Oh please you wanted to show off..." Matilda exclaimed.
"No..." He soundly confessed, then followed with..." well, yes, actually I was." then half smiled.
"What are you doing here?" Kalen asked.
"Prolly the same as you, were you looking for your sister, we heard you call her name out?" Lupus inquired.
"Yeah, mum, and dad are in the hospital, and I'm in charge of Nissa. and she's been missing since this afternoon"
"Do you have some clothes of her.?" Matilda asked.
"Well no, it's in the house. but I do have this?" Kalen showed Nissa's doll then Kalen handed the doll to them.
Matilda and Lupus looked at each other for a few seconds.
can you turn around please? Lupus asked.
Matilda could've easily stopped time but they already realized Kalen was also magical so she didn't bother.
"Why?" Kalen replied in confusion.
"Never mind." Lupus smelled the doll.
Kalen laughed, "What are you guys, some sort of dogs?."
"None of your business actually, " paused and continued "But he is." Matilda referring to Lupus.
"This way," Lupus said as Matilda and Lupus walked further ahead of him.
Kalen laughed and thought it was a joke.
Then slowly came to a realization the way little red riding hood had found out about the wolf, as he watched the children in front of him, It's as if he came to see them clearly for the first time. Everything about them was off. They just evaded an arrow that almost no one would normally miss, Their black clothes and ashy white skin. Their super dark hair was in contrast to the trees. They did not look normal at all. He had his hunch before but the warmth of the forest compared to their skin was like a revelation, There was a faint whisper of "careful. careful. careful." as
if the trees were talking and whispering something to him.
"Wait... you're the family of hybrids* the Huldufólk* and Maskas* have been murmuring about.?" Kalen began to raise his arrows and pointed it at them.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
*Huldufólk - Hidden People. (usually elves, dwarves etc.,)
*Maskas - short for Magiske Skapninger which means Magical creatures including Wizards, Sorcerers, Witches, Magis, Healers, Warriors, Dragon riders etc., they used creatures instead of beings because the European school is much more accepting of equality between creatures and beings.
*Hybrids - Mixed Race, of any kind.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Matilda and Lupus both stopped as they heard the string of the bow, being stretched.
They both looked back and Kalen's arrow was pointed right at them.
"You wouldn't wanna do that?" Lupus grinned and warned.
"Did you eat my sister?!"Kalen beseeched.
"You're not very smart are you?" Matilda calmly replied.
"Would we be helping you, if we ate her?" She knocked some sense into him.
"I dunno, maybe you are just luring me and want to eat me too," Kalen replied.
"Enough of this," Matilda said as she stopped time and took the bow from Kalen. She was surprised at how heavy it was. She looked at Kalen, Mildly impressed then looked at the bow for a few seconds, it had an intricate pattern carved beautifully on the bow. It was too heavy so,
she dropped it on the floor when she came back to her position, after which she unfroze time.
Kalen was surprised and looked at his bow beside her. Thinking if there was time to grab it and fight, but Matilda spoke,
"If we wanted to eat you, it would have been done by now."
"Best we move along if you want to save your sister." Lupus confided.
"What do you mean?" Kalen picked up his bow and realized they were right.
"Someones been murdering in this area," Lupus retorted as they continue to walk.
"So what are you?" Matilda coaxed.
"I asked first." Kalen shot back. Kalen was 16 and towered over them, he had long blonde hair, he looked a bit different today since he had his hair in a ponytail and braids and the sides of his head was shaved.
He wore something different today, A cottony moss green shirt inside, dark green coat, dark shorts, and Chuck Taylors sneakers.
"We're many things," Matilda replied mysteriously.
"So your Elves? I reckon with your pointy ears, Plus you said Hulderfolks" Lupus asked.
Kalen touched his ear forgetting his hair was tied up. "I guess we are," Kalen answered.
"Has your family been here long?" Matilda Interested in how old their magic was.
"Mother and father wander for a few years to different towns so we can, help people."
"We've never been in trouble before, this is the first time, well the second time, I hope Nissa is alright."
"I didn't mean in this town," Matilda replied.
"Oh. that's pretty personal. but I will say they have been here long, but my sister and I are new. and you?."
"Same as you," Matilda answered.
"You said the second time, what happened to the first time?" Lupus asked.
"Ah some trouble with trolls, but I managed it." Kalen confided.
"By managed, does that mean ran away?" Lupus jested.
Kalen smirked and replied, "Yes, that and many other things."
"So, you guys are hybrids? how does that work? I'd Imagine that you know, you'd come out as some sort of monsters, no offense. I'm just basing on what I hear."
"Actually we are," Matilda replied.
"No, I mean like physically..." Kalen paused and thought before he spoke: " wait, are you?" Kalen was curious.
Matilda and Lupus looked at each other and smirked.
"Since you're that curious, I'm a werewolf. She's... how can I say this without getting hit in the head?"
Matilda rolled her eyes.
"She's a witch I guess, but as you've said were hybrids, she also has wings. so maybe she's some sort of other thing." Lupus confessed.
"Enough Lupus. TMI." Matilda chided.
"How does that work?" Kalen confused.
"Our Family said we have Dragons blood and God blood, long long time ago, which makes an abomination unlikely, even though we also have some Fallen angel blood, angel blood, fairy blood, demon blood, witch
blood, wolf blood and a bunch of other things, Dragon Blood resists any kind of Bad Magic towards them and well God blood has too much magic in it, instead of our DNA binding and making abominations, It
chooses the most dominant DNA and thats what we come out of as. My Grandpa's a soldier but he's also a scientist, he also found that out through our DNA and a bunch of other things that and I mostly don't understand, but were still monsters, just not the kind you were thinking of."
"Lupus! have you had your fun? will you please shut up!" Matilda commanded.
"I imagine you are grandpas favorite..." Kalen told Lupus.
"You know it..." Lupus retorted as he laughed with Kalen, while Matilda scowled at them.
They wandered deeper and deeper into the forest, The trees became thicker and thicker, Matilda noticed it became more mystical, They saw vines that hung from the trees, they were thick and lush like majestic
beautiful goddess hair, there were also different kinds of flower that grew even though they were out of season, it grew on the ground, the trees, and the bushes.
There were pink, purple and white peonies, snapdragons, hyacinths that looked liked nosy neighbors growing everywhere. A little up ahead there were thin white trees covered in moss, that were linked together as if it was friends up in arms and served as a fence in an average-sized arena. In the middle of the circle, there was an archway of green and plum-colored vines linked together, as well as pink, purple and white wisterias falling like rain from the archway and a pathway of leaves and fallen petals.
Suddenly everything felt weird Matilda felt sleepy, Lupus and Kalen were also rubbing they're eyes and yawning, she came back to herself when she realized what was happening.
She looked just a little far right the trees linked together, she thought that they were just bushes and flowers but now she had a closer look there was a bunch of Lavenders, Valerian, Gardenias, Jasmine, Sages, California poppies, Golden pothos, Tahoe OG Kush, Grandaddy Purple, Skywalker, Gods gift, Afghan kush, Northern lights, Ogre, Querkle, Big bud and 9-pound hammer growing around the trees and was emitting some sort of mist.
Her eyes grew wide. "cover your nose." Matilda warned,
"Why?" Kalen replied.
"Those flowers and bushes are enchanted, and it'll make you fall asleep."
Matilda knew those flowers because she has been studying it with Aunt Philomena, she is particularly fond of these plants because she likes the fact that you can make sleeping potions out of them or brownies,
sleeping brownies were the best.
They covered their nose with their shirts. Kalen covered his nose with a handkerchief.
Matilda pulled out a black wand while making swirls. "Ne protejeaza"
"What was that?" Kalen asked.
"Protection spell, against those flowers. If the mist sinks in our skin, the handkerchief won't do any good, just think of it as a preventative measure. but you can remove it now."
"Oh!" Kalen replied.
"Sssh!" Lupus motioned everyone to be quiet, "were near." Lupus huddled them behind a tree.
"If we come across a monster, You shoot it and I'll rip it apart. ok?" Lupus commanded.
"OK.?" Kalen replied, although he was confused, he was more concerned about getting his sister because if they missed his arrow, he trusted that these two kids will be able to help him.
Matilda gave them a condescending look.
"If we see Nissa, she is the priority?. we grab her, and then all of you come near me and hold on to me, we'll fly, out of here."
"Oh my God, Matilda! you're such a pussy!" whispered Lupus patronizingly.
"I say we kill that monster!" Lupus whispered in excitement.
"You idiot! by this time it ate a lot of humans already?" Matilda argued.
"So?" Lupus looked confused and Kalen looked worried.
"If it ate a lot, then, it'll probably be super powerful by now," Matilda explained.
"Will you two idiots stop fighting! my sister might be in danger." Kalen protested.
They hear subdued eating sounds.
Subsequently, while they were talking they hear a buzzing sound in their ear, It was the sound of pixie wings flapping. Small lithesome creatures were listening to them and two was incredibly near them
huddled as if they were also friends, and a dozen were flying around them.
As Kalen turned around,
one was looking straight at him, suddenly, It punched him in the eye.
"Oww!" Kalen exclaimed.
The Pixies grabbed on to Lupus hair and bit Lupus arms and feet. "ow!"ow! ow!" Lupus bellowed in pain.
"Shit!" Matilda muttered in surprise but before she could nab her wand or freeze them, a few Pixies
grabbed both her feet which quickly knocked her off while the Pixies grappled onto her hands, she fell
headfirst and slammed on an old tree trunk so she passed out for a few seconds.
Kalen tried to use his arrow, but to no avail, since the other pixies were biting him, grabbing his hair,
and he was only using one of his eyes. As he tried to shoot one of the Pixies, the pixie saw the arrow catapulted to it in slow motion and was able to evade quickly. It saw the arrow puncture the tree, and its eyes became googly-eyed out of fear, then it glared at Kalen as it felt anger, after which a small faint sound of scream can be heard "aaaaaaaaaah!" as it charged against Kalen, which made Kalen slowly fall on his back.
"Ouch," Kalen groaned.
"Damnit.!" Lupus was now scowling out of rage, his eyes blackened and small black veins started to appear next to his eyes and his hands slowly turned black as if it was watercolor paint spreading on paper, crawling in his skin. His fingers darkened as claws started to erupt in each one.
Suddenly he was faster and grabbed one of the pixies that were grappling his hair, he threw it and it slammed in one of the trees, Green blood splattered all over. He snatched another one that was biting his arms, then he grabbed another and another, and one by one they were flung across the trees and on the ground, with such force that as they slammed, It chipped the tree trunks and made a faint snapping sound and their green bluish blood splattered everywhere, as they hit the trees and the floor, soon enough he got so pissed that he bit one pixie which cut it in half.
"Huh!!!!!!" a faint conjoined gasp from the pixies can be heard, as they looked at the remaining half of the pixie that Lupus was holding on to his hand.
Lupus bellowed in his demon voice "Ugh vegetables! ew!" and threw half of what's left of the pixie on the ground.
"Matilda!" Lupus boomed with his demon voice to wake up Matilda.
The pixie started to panic and fly in different directions and started to fly away, but by this time Matilda woke up from passing out, she was clutching her head because it was in pain and was still half asleep but she grabbed her black wand from inside her coat pocket and pointed upwards in the air.

The pixies floated in the air immobile, their eyes were still blinking
and everything seemed to slow down.
Then she used her hands to cast another spell "Somno!"
and then all the pixies fell on the ground sleeping.
Lupus was breathing heavily and was calming himself down.
His eyes were still all black but the black veins and his claws started to disappear as he calmed himself down.
While Kalen was just looking at them sitting on the ground and
said, "what the fuuuuuuuucccck.?"
Scene 15
Myrka was eating what's left of the man that she had captured.
And was so engulfed with devouring the man, that she didn't notice the noise around her, but it was barely audible from where she was.
Nissa was asleep under a huge old Myrkwood tree. There were big and small vines, Several which looked like they were hairs that kissed the ground.
There were white trees linked together that surrounded the place, everything was covered in moss and flowers and the huge Myrkwood tree looked as if it was a natural altar, she heard a faint noise from behind her but saw nothing. So she came back to what she was doing.
It was Kalen, Matilda, and Lupus that made the noise; they were not too near but not too far from Myrka. Kalen saw what she was doing to the human and saw her sister. He was worried and jumped in anger and was about to storm the place, but Matilda stopped him.
"Kalen. look..." They were whispering
She pointed at medium-sized rocks surrounding the place, They were rocks that had runes written on them.
"What does it say?" Lupus asked.
"It's not witches rune, so I don't know?" Matilda replied.
"It's High elven..." Kalen replied, my elfen is not good.
but if I'm right it says." Kalen tries to read it slowly " None shall pass. lest blood of kings and queens be lost, thine shield will yield when the runes are cast."
"There are four High elven runes that are not transliterated I am not good with mixed runes. I don't know what it says." Kalen said.
Then Matilda looked closely. " There is a protection spell cast here. I can see the thin film. It might alert her if we just storm in."
"So?" Lupus remarked
"So we don't know what she can do. If it alerts her she might take Nissa away quickly, and she's too far, we also don't know if it will let us in. If she sees us and were not able to come in, Nissa will be in trouble."
"I also can't fly because we don't know how high the protection spell is."
"We need Elders," Matilda replied.
"Someone needs to stay here with Nissa."
"If we text them, It will take time before they find us, better I Go." Lupus volunteered.
"No. you're too slow."
"Where are your parents again.?" Matilda asked Kalen.
" If I find them will they be able to help us?"
"Yes! they are at the Alston hospital" Kalen replied.
"You guys stay here, I'll fly to mum and dad and your parents."
"she'll see you if you fly you, idiot! its broad fucking daylight."
"Wait." Matilda saw some flowers moving inside. She tried to stop time for a few seconds and it worked.
"Okay. I can stop the time for a few seconds if she tries to hurt Nissa."
Matilda stated.
"I knew you guys were hybrids but not to this extent," Kalen mentioned in amazement.
"Says the boy who is probably pureblood, which means incest right?." Lupus remarked.
"Were not incest!. why do people always say that! we just don't marry off other kinds, because it's not allowed." Kalen defended.
" Ugh, you elves are weird. Ya'll look alike." Lupus mentioned.
"Omg! will you guys shut up!" Matilda exclaimed "Can we please focus on to more important things. Okay, New Plan, Lupus I'll pm Mum and Dad, meet them at the forest entrance. Kalen, PM and find your Mom and your dad, then meet Lupus on the forest entrance. understood?"
The two nodded their head twice.
"Now, Go!" Matilda said.
Before he left, Kalen looked back, "Matilda... Guard her with your life."
"Sure, but you owe me." Matilda declared.
Kalen nodded and then left with Lupus.
Lupus and Kalen silently walked away and as soon as they were far enough, Lupus ran as fast as he could,
and Kalen headed to meet his parents.
Meanwhile.
Matilda sent her Mum a message.
Matilda: Mum, Nissa is in Danger, meet Lupus at the Forest entrance.
Scene 16
We then zoom into Myrka, she was preoccupied with eating the man. As she was eating, her hollow back started closing, slowly, first the blood and muscles melded with each other then the flesh started to bond, after which her skin started to look younger, then the wrinkles on her skin seemed to fade. Her skin was firmer, tighter and her breast lifted as if it were pulled up by an imaginary string, her face and hands were filled with blood and looked softer and warmer, she licked her lips of the remaining blood, it was not enough. Slowly She felt the skin on her back detaching, not as hollow as before but there were still hollows that can be seen and a few of her wrinkles came back, she touched her face and felt it and was extremely unsatisfied, the man was not enough she grew angry and she screamed!
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Frustrated, She threw the already flailing body against the trees. "Pesky human!"
she looked up to where the child was.
she stood up.
She started smirking.
She reached out for Nissa. She touched her cheeks,
"You'll make me very pretty, honey, boop!" while she touched Nissa's nose with her forefinger, and then she opened her mouth and it became bigger, It was so big, a watermelon can fit right in and her teeth grew fangs, a hundred pointy things all to devour one little child, but just as she was about to reach and bite Nissa...
"Oh! No, You don't" Matilda stopped time.
Matilda breathed heavily she knew she was not supposed to yet, because there were no elders, but she had no choice.
She held Myrka on her left hands.
and tried to slam her palms forcefully and angrily on the barrier using her right hand just trying to destroy it.
but it did nothing. They stayed like that for a few minutes, but her hand was getting tired of staying in that same position. Holding on to time was also heavy, it felt as if you were carrying something, the longer it went.
She breathed heavily, she couldn't hold on to time that much longer.
Scene 17
Kalen and Lupus were already at the forest entrance.
"My parents aren't responding..." Lupus informed Kalen.
At home.
Morganas Phone and Mr. Strange Phone were both in silent mode in the table and a little off ahead, you can see movement and giggling on the bed.
*Narrator winks*
They were both very very very busy.
"I have to go get them..." Lupus said
"I understand, Mine as well, I have to find them too." Kalen disclosed, "Let's just meet there, at whatever that place is.
"Okay." Lupus replied
"And Hurry," Kalen asked.
They both ran.
Lupus tried to call Aunt Philomena on her Phone.
"Yoohoo!" Mena answered.
"Oh my god!' where are you guys? I've been trying to call you so hard!"
"Why?" Mena asked.
"Look, remember Nissa, the neighbors' daughter? She's in danger. She's about to be eaten by a creature, I'm coming, look for Mum and pops."
"Oh my, okay." Philomena worried then ran upstairs.
Mena heard giggling sounds and rolled her eyes, then knocked very loudly.
"Uh, guys!"
Morgana heard the knock "What?"
"Ugh! I thought you might want to know, your children along with the neighbor's children are in danger."
"Oh." Morgana sighed as she was being nuzzled by Mr. Strange. " We best get dressed then.
"Well be right down."
Morgana called to her Husband...
Scene 18
Myrka was freed from being frozen
she stretched a little bit and smiled at Matilda.
"Well, well, well if it isn't little Matilda Strange. So what are you?" Myrka was pensive for a few seconds.
"That's really none of your business." Matilda snatched back.
"Oooh... You know what, you look a little freakier than I am, I bet you want a little taste of this child as well..." Myrka tried to reach out and touch the child's cheek, but before she could.
*Slam!* The sound of Myrka's body, slamming into one of the elder trees resounded as she was flung by an unseen force, this made the trees shake, It made the leaves of the trees rustle which made the birds fly.
Myrka quickly fell on her butt and was discombobulated for a few seconds.
"Ugh! what is your problem!" Myrka screamed and fumed.
"Best stay the fuck away from her," Matilda warned.
"Oooh you and your potty mouth, but how long can you do that to me really, you can't even get inside. especially when you're busy."
Matilda confused.
"Viens mekare," Myrka whispered.
As she said this, white tree looking creatures same as the color of the trees with long thick spear-like branches materialized out of the trees as if they were melded there for a long time and just came out from a long sleep, some were shaped like men and some were shaped like women they moved slowly but violently.
Matilda tried to evade them but some had vines and tried to catch her feet until she can no longer move.
four tree creature seemed to enclose on her.
Their vines wrapped around her tiny hands ...then it crawled on her tiny legs quickly wrapping itself tightly, squeezing her tiny body. Everything happened so quickly.
Then *rip!,* with its thick needle-like branch one of three creatures stabbed Matilda on her shoulder with so much force, that it created a hole over her shoulder.
She saw the wounds with her eyes and felt it quickly.
she screamed out of pain. *AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!* she bled profusely and then she started breathing heavily.
It had struck her so hard that her eyes were enveloped by darkness immediately.
her forehead wrinkled, out of anguish and exasperation she moved her head from left to right and it emitted so much force that the tree person that stabbed her snapped its head instantly and was hurled away from her and as its needle-like hand was removed from matildas shoulder...
and it seared so she shrieked out of distress! "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" and with her scream, a force so strong came out of her that everyone around her was propelled away from her; the tree creature were all hurled on the invisible wall including Myrka, she was lobbed against the wall so intensely that she had to get a hold of herself, otherwise she would've fallen asleep with the blow.
She scowled at the girl in front of her, Matilda was worn out.
but she was more than anything, worried, the girl in front of her was not to be taken lightly.
Matilda knelt on the ground, she was exhausted and bleeding, she was bleeding heavily but more than anything pissed beyond belief at how exhausted she was, she palmed the ground for support, she rested for a few seconds.
Myrka felt elated for a few seconds as she has not seen anything like this in a long time, she wanted to fight her, but she wanted to live more, so she made her way to the child, again.
"Don't you touch her bitch!" Matilda warned with her demon-like voice, aggravated.
She raised her hand as if cupping Myrkas neck and raised her from the ground to strangle her using only dark magic, Myrka couldn't breathe, she kept coughing and gasping for air.
Myrka's hand was free and was able to move it and with just a flick of the finger, a tree creature materialized out of the tree, his hands formed a sharp needle looking branch it was suspended in the air for a few seconds then like a bullet, with force it accelerated towards Matilda's direction and stabbed her, puncturing her left shoulder again and it grabbed hold of her, which set Myrka free from the invisible force holding her.
And from outside Matilda got agitated out of pain, and acted swiftly, she used her hands in the air in front of the tree creature, as if mangling something and her dark magic shredded it apart.
Then when she was done she pounded on the invisible wall, using her hands as she wailed out of rage.
but it was to no avail.
Myrka just almost gasping was laughing realizing she cannot get in.
Now this time she pounded it with dark magic and the walls shook and everything around it shook.
She pounded and pounded and everything shook as if she was a wolf blowing the little piggies house down.
But the wall was strong, it was bound by runes.
When she got so agitated she howled and then stared at the wall for a few seconds and then made a decision.
She started chanting a spell.
And was whispering words.
She cupped her hand together and it was dark electricity first and then it was black fire and smoke and it formed a black orb, at first it was just as small as an apple but as she started chanting it became bigger
and bigger.
It was dark old magic.
And it consumed her already black eyes and spread black ink across her face.
and the darkness in her hands spread until her hands was black, it spread like black watercolor and water spilled on paper, crawling in her arms and clothes and the orb got bigger...
nox atra
quod sanguis ac tenebras
ignis inferis
formam mearum
Conteret me
quos superposuit basibus
et stellarum lapsus
Sol ardentior
and bigger ...
nox atra
quod sanguis ac tenebras
ignis inferis
exitio mundos
unde non stabit
And bigger...
She was calling on the power of the Lord of Nightmares, it was some, old magic, that she came upon reading, but one that requires too much. That if you cannot handle it, it will devour you, this was a sacrifice.
It was not about saving the girl anymore, her ego was bruised and she was pissed.
As she chanted the black orb got bigger and bigger and heavier and heavier, and every time she chanted the wind blew harder, every time it grew bigger it emitted a force so heavy It was destroying the ground beneath her, the ground shook, and surface of the earth around her started detaching in small portions and the wind pushed back everything that surrounded her, the strong wind encircled her and dark cloud formed above the sky and loud thunder started to ring.
And every time she chanted It seemed a little bit of her disappeared
until she was no longer there, but something older in her was chanting,,,
Exitio mundos
Unde non stabit
Something more ancient.
When suddenly someone called her.
"Matilda!"
Morgana had called her.
The wind blew strongly and it seemed as if there was a storm in the forest.
Behind Morgana was Mortimer, Lupus, Kalen and his family.
Mena fortunately was able to get a hold of Kalens parents.
Kalen was pointing an arrow at Myrka. His Bow was shining through the darkness.
"Don't you dare move!" Kalen warned Myrka.
"That won't pull through" Myrka proudly voiced out.
"Would you like to bet?" Kalen asserted, his hair blowing in the wind,
Kalen's Father calmly worded, "Skogsvänner
innehålla henne."
Four Tree creatures then materialized out of the trees, but this time they had leaf hair and its human-like features were more defined.
They surrounded Myrka, Myrka tried to fight but before she could do anything, they had covered her mouth and its branch and vines wrapped around her face, while two held her hands and suddenly vines and branches with leaves came out of the earth and wrapped around her feet.
And two tree creatures came to guard Nissa.
Kalen's mother cut her hands and bled it in the runes and she read the runes.
"Edr- hi ambar edr- hi fen edr- hi coe edr- hi fen -iya tari can ldë..."
As the blood dripped on the runes, it glowed an illuminating blue and the invisible walls were no more.
Kalen came to her sister and his Father carried her away.
Meanwhile
Mathilda was not her self anymore and was not responding to her mother.
"Dear, would you be so kind as to hand me that ball."
Morgana was reaching her hand out to Mathilda.
But by that time the black orb was so big, that it was bigger than a car, its force was so powerful that violent hot winds surrounded it.
She was staring blankly at Morgana.
Her father said "Dear give your mother the ball.
"Come now be a nice little girl." Her Mother told her warmly,
Her mother's smile was nice and welcoming.
"Should we help them?" Kalen asked
"No, it is dangerous..." Mortimer signaled The Maurelles to move back.
"Mathilda," Lupus called her, " Give mom the ball,"
She tilted her head to the side, curious as to what was happening.
"Why would I do that?" with a demon voice.
"We'll, let you eat that Pretty little woman at the back if you give us the ball." Her mother bribed.
She looked back and saw the woman and It angered her more and the orb seemed to grow bigger.
"Mathilda! Mathilda! come now?," Morgana distracting her, Then she looked at her husband for a few seconds to signal him to catch her.
"Tu lassus, somnolentus tu non es.." Morgana reached out her hand then there were small orbs that flew to Matilda and as it reached her skin it made her sleepy.
"You are tired, You are sleepy. Love..." her Mother told her.
"Tu lassus, somnolentus estis vos...."
Matilda felt sleepy, she was closing her eyes but was still holding the orb.
Morganna called a chant, and Golden lit words enveloped her face, hands, and arms.
"ut terra alliges duplicia vos
et vestra essentia dispergat in tenues caeli"
Then a big golden bubble of gold orbs enveloped the black orb.
Matildas eyes already closed because of the spell, then she fell, she let go of the orb but thankfully they all have inhuman speed, Mortimer Caught her, while Morgana caught the orb, she held it in her hands but it was too heavy, a small lacerations started to form on her face and her hands and clothes,
something her husband has not seen in a long time
"Morgana?!" he uttered in concern as if to ask if she's okay.
"Leave me be." She commanded.
She grabbed a black wand inside her coat pocket, this was the first time in a few hundred years, he saw her use it.
Mortimer was worried but trusted her well enough to know that this was just a hiccup.
she pointed it to the black orb.
"Dispersio."
The black orb exploded violently into small tiny black flecks but luckily it was contained in the golden orb that Morgana used to bind it but there was still force and impact, it had wounded her and made some fresh wounds and scratches ripping the flesh on her face and hand, and her wounds bled, and it also catapulted everyone and everything from afar.
Except for Mr. Strange, that was able to turn his back but, he felt the impact on his back, Lupus was thrown into a three but had quick reflexes and was able to hold on to the three, and hid behind it, luckily the Maurelles were far back and were hiding behind an old tree, but they felt the force like strong hot wind passing through them, some of the trees were shaken and wounding its trunks, burning some of the leaves, shaking everything even the rocks that were perfectly still rolled around as if it was as light as a pebble.
Slowly the tiny orbs disappeared.
Morgana was gasping for breath, it made her tired, but her wounds started to heal but the blood dried up, Mortimer checked Matilda and laid her on the ground and seeing she was breathing and her eyes started to open, smiled and scratched her cheek, then made a faint grin chuckle "You'll do fine."
Although Matilda was bleeding profusely it didn't bother, Mr. Strange since it was family blood, family blood gave off a different smell, it was like smelling his own blood, which did not hunger him, he looked back and her wife was tired but smiling, and then he came to her aid.
He was slightly worried, but she trusted that she was okay, his action showed more of a sweet gesture for her "Are you okay?" he asked, and touched his cheek,
"Of course." Morgana Smiled. "Always."
"Your hair." Some of Morgana's hair specifically the front sides changed into white.
"Oh look at that, new hairstyle." Morgana retorted.
Then he hugged her.
"Ew, disgusting... get a room" Matilda cracked.
Lupus also making a gross face.
Then making a painful groan, as her wounds started closing slowly.
It was healing slowly, so Mr. Strange made her way to Matilda and He bit his wrist, and it punctured his skin, blood was on his mouth, and now gushing from his wrist, he let the blood drip on Matildas shoulders where the punctured wound was, and it started healing faster, until there was only dried blood left.
Her body wasn't fully recovered, not from the wounds from the tree creatures, but the from the fire of the lord of nightmares, it was a different kind of magic, old magic, it stayed on your skin for a long time, and it was searing, had they been ordinary people, the wound would've stayed for months, or even caused death, but since they were not ordinary at all, It only left pain, the kind of body ache that you get from fever. Matilda had it all over, her body, Morgana felt it more so, and Mortimer, felt it in his back.
It left a very dark feeling for everyone.
They heard a muffled sound, it was Myrka Drummond scarred and wounded from the impact, was trying to fidget her way out of the tree people, the tree people had empty wooden faces but even they were annoyed and tried to restrain her.
The look of annoyance in her eyes was so evident.
"What should we do with her?" Mortimer asked Morgana.
"We will deal with her in our council, "Alfrigg Maurelle declared.
tagging along with his family behind him.
"I say we kill her..."Lupus voiced out.
"Lupus... mind your manners..." Mortimer instructed.
Then lupus made a sad face and hugged her mum from behind.
"Are you okay, mummy?"
"Yes, I am love.." Morgana replied cupping his chin.
Elga Maurelle kneeled, next to Matilda, teary-eyed, "You, our family, owes you a huge debt of gratitude, you have saved our daughter, I would not have known what I would have done if anything were to happen to her. Thank you, she planted a kiss on Matildas, forehead.
Although annoyed she made a weird face, but when Elga looked at her she just smiled awkwardly, as if to say, no problem.
Then she looked back at Kalen. "Oy, you heard that you owe me, making a mischievous face. hehehe."
Then everyone smiled.
"Yeah, yeah..."
Then Alfrigg spoke," Your family is always welcome in our house if you need shelter, it is yours. If you need any help, then we will aid you. This is our oath to you."
"Are you sure? we take oaths very seriously, It may not always be of a friendly favor?." Morgana quipped, but deep inside everyone knew she was serious, The Strange, always takes oaths and agreement seriously, it is because they know that allies are important, they know that in the art of war, you cannot win things on your own. They knew that although they are a strong family, there is always strength in numbers, but most importantly honest connections are very important.
Allies that can be trusted, are people that can save your life, this was not a war, but they have been through many things, that they understood the power of one oath and that there is power in a loving coven, strength in a clan of vampires that treated each other like family, and that a pack of wolves can accomplish many things if they trusted each other.
Alfrigg noticed the weight of the question and looked back at her wife. and her wife agreed without question.
"Yes, this is a promise. No, a pact." He handed out his hand.
And Mortimer Strange shook it and looked at Alfrigg in agreement.
"We would also be grateful if you would not mention us in whatever council, your going to." Mortimer asserted.
"Of course... your family will be kept a secret if you wish."
"Thank you," Mortimer replied.
"No, Thank you..." Elga uttered while looking at Mr. Strange and Mrs. Strange. Elga hugged, Mrs. Strange.
There was a brief silence then Nissa woke up.
"Mummy, where are we?"
Scene 19
Mr. Strange and Mrs. Strange were seated at the dining table, Mr. Strange reading a newspaper while Mrs. strange was reading a book.
Lupus was eating his steak and Sullivan was serving more food. Footsteps were heard going down the stairs.
It was Matilda, she was still feeling a bit weak,
"Took you long enough.."
"How long was I sleeping?" Matilda asked.
"3 days you idiot hahahaha" Lupus quipped.
Lupus and the twins laughed.
"Why are you laughing?" Matilda asked this is when her mother looked up, "You seem to have something on your face dear."
Matilda disappeared for a few seconds to look at her face in the mirror and found that there were things drawn on her face, one of them was a mustache.
"Lupuuuus! You're dead!!!!!!"
Then ran after Lupus and tried to strangle Lupus, Mrs. Strange then waved her finger.
"Ah, ah, ah." as if to say no.
Matilda was now floating immobile in the air, as if there were no gravity while she tried to reach for Lupus, "Mum, ah!?" she violently opposed.
"Take your crystal baths first, to cleanse yourself of magic, its already prepared for you in your tub," Morgana was now controlling her and she was now floating back upstairs."
To which Lupus teased her more, "See you later Matilda.. if you can fiiiind meee hahahahaha" Lupus laughed.
Matilda grew angrier "Argh!!!!!"
"Lupus! stop it," Morgana ordered.
Then lupus made a face.
Then Matilda stopped moving mid-air
"Morgana walked in front of the stairs removed her glasses and Matilda now floating, and was upside down, playing with her positions.
"Yes, mum.?"
"You must not do that again.?" And she looked at her sternly waiting for an answer.
"I'm sorry."
"Good, now take your bath."
"What happened to Myrka.?" Matilda asked in a serious tone.
"According to Elga, She will be put to death.
"Because she ate people?."
"That and she was not too careful, that it risked the community being discovered."
"I reckon her family is pissed, but they don't know it was us. if they found out..."
Mortimer raised his eyes from his newspaper.
"Take your bath Matilda, your mother already took care of that,"
Morgana made an I told you face.
and Matilda continued floating upstairs.
Scene 20
Matilda was now taking her bath, and playing with bubbles, glowing crystals were submerged in the water, she had her headset on and was listening to metal music but was pensive.
a vinyl record was playing in the background.
The family hung out at the dining table and then after eating, Lupus declared "Going out..."
The twins started to crawl out of their chairs and play.
Sullivan was in his room, bobbing his head to the vinyl record.
Mena, was brushing her hair and looking in the mirror.
Scene 21
Meanwhile.
An extremely large hall made of grey walls, huge stained glass windows with colorful designs of elves and their history surrounded the place, it looked ethereal and the light was passing through the windows and reflecting on everything, gold accents can be seen on each of the corners supporting the high court table for the council. In each corners, there were trees, old trees, and butterflies thats seem to support the corners of the hall. This council was not the end-all and be-all, it was only the council for elves and fairies and forest creatures.
There were four very serious people sitting there, they did not look young or old, they looked wise beyond their years, they had white-bluish hair because of the reflection of the window very soft and delicate features for the ladies and strong sharp handsome features for the men, one of them was wearing a gold crown.
"Myrka Drummond...-o in huldra lie"
/*Myrka Drummond of the huldra race*/
Myrka sitting in the middle, hands bound by leaves and vines as well as feet, she was heavily guarded by tree creatures. however something was different about her, her mouth was stitched together and she tried to speak but she couldn't.
Alfriggs and Elga Maurelle a little bit far off behind her.
The head council started speaking.
"-lda crumguru -o matië firya a yo raxe -Ima mar -o návë túvima
*be na i sanyë carina bui mín núr a exa onna cin indo n- manda vanda host ennin. "
=================================================
You are guilty of eating humans
and risk our world being discovered,
In accordance to the laws made by our race and other creatures you will be imprisoned for 100 years.*
================================================
Myrkas muffled screamed can be heard, as she tried to escape from her restraints.
While the Maurelles looked at each other in shock.
"The Strange will not like, this..."
The Maurelles, although pained, by what had happened were extremely forgiving creatures.
"Just by judging from the boy, we have to tell them differently, or they will hunt her..." Alfrigg informed his wife.
"nányë brigol na rac -ita estel.*" Elga confessed
/I am afraid to break their trust*/
"nalmë ala rac qe estel, rather it is a concern that they will be in danger, in case they tried to find her." Alfrigg disclosed.
/*we are not breaking any trust*/
"hanya*" Elga agreed.
Scene 22
===============================================
*Marius....*
He heard someone, a woman was calling her.
How strange, there was no one there.
Marius has just come out of the pub and finished a session of the night drinking, very heavy drinking.
He smelt of vodka and cigarette.
He already put out his keys and was on his way to his car, struggling to keep his balance, he was fidgeting with his keys and wanted to put it in the cars lock to open it, when a night patrol, appeared out of nowhere crossed his hands across his chest and menacingly looked at Marius, and said: "Are you really gonna do that you alkiz?"
So he put his keys back in his pants pocket, made an awkward smile, and continued walking.
Marius continued walking in the stony pathway that led to the forest, he thought, "Well there is a short cut, here..."
There was a short cut in a beaten-down path that he always takes in the morning when he comes home from work.
It's was a little bit darker today, but he was sure that he can find his way.
He was halfway through when someone started calling his name.
"MARIUUUSS..."
Her voice was gentle and sweet, he looked for it.
"Mariiuuuuus...."
It was enthralling and heavenly....
He started to walk deeper and deeper into the forest,
It was a beautiful woman, her skin was translucent rather glowing under the light of the moon ...
"Marius..."
Her voice was like butter sliding down his skin, he couldn't help but close his eyes, whenever she called on him.
She was beautiful.
That's all that he could think about.
gently she traced her fingers on his face.
she cupped his face and kissed his neck and by now Marius was just dying of euphoria, and then she bit his neck and ravaged it, until all the blood spurt and gushing vehemently out of his neck and then she punctured his stomach with her hands like knife cutting butter, gripping his guts and forcing it out of his body and right then, he lost his consciousness until he no longer can stand up on his own and was just bleeding profusely. He laid pallid and lifeless on the ground, her long brown hair gently falling on his skin as she continued to eat what was left of him. The hallow on her back started to close.
*We can hear subdued eating sounds in the background*
*mischievous rock music playing*
Scene 23
===============================================
"Mother?"
Matilda found her mother in the library, looking at a mirror and her right hand was glowing, yellow.
She watched, Myrka being judged.
"They aren't going to kill her?" Matilda asked.
"No. I don't think so."
"You implanted a tracking spell on Elga."
flashback to Elga hugging Morgana. Morgana has placed a very light tracking spell, her hands glowed yellow on Elgas back.
"Mother, you got to the forest real quick by teleporting.
how does one get that power again?"
Morgana felt the gravity of the question and looked down, for a few seconds, and then answered it.
"By birth or by sacrificing, something powerful."
She had understood, that it was not often that they can have this kind of opportunity, and that Matilda was going to try to do it on her own, and she would rather be there to guide her properly.
Myrka was trying to scream in her cell, her hands and feet were bounded, but it was all muffled since her mouth was stitched. She was crying and pissed and planning of all the bad things she was going to do to the Strange Family.
One grown-up feet showed out of nowhere.
There was some glowing blue light in the background.
Then another set of feet, much smaller settled on the floor.
"Hello, Myrka. The Elves have been nice to you.
Much too nice." Morgana muttered, she took a step back.
Myrka tried to scream and kneeled and begged as if to say no.
"Do it quickly."
Matilda circled around Myrka, and she followed her with her eyes, asking what are you doing? but she couldn't be heard nor understood.
she used her wand to form a Magic circle.
she whispered a chant.
"Gud ef gáttir
styrk ég
yfirferð
ég gef þér þetta tilboð"
Myrka kept crying. She was kneeling, and Matilda pulled her hair to make her kneel upright.
"Ssshh, Myrka, Everythings gonna be okay."
Then Matilda Slit Myrka's throat with an Athame.
She convulsed as the blood gushed out of her throat it spilled all over her clothes and she fell on the floor and the blood poured out even more as it made its way through the lines of the magic circle, it glowed blue and showed the sign of the sun, and moon a dodekagram with different symbols.
It glowed bright and summoned twelve portals.
She looked at Morgana.
"Close the portals," Morgana ordered.
As she waved her hands. It became much smaller ane became light blue orbs that went to her arms and then became symbols that lit up in light blue as it sunk on her skin and then disappeared.
Until each one is closed.
"Let's go home."
There was a blue portal, they both stepped inside.
Myrka's eyes were wide open, she was no longer convulsing, nor in pain.
There was only silence.
Preview for the next Chapter.
===============================================
We see Mena brushing her hair, in front of an old victorian vanity mirror in her room.
Her room was designed like she was living in the 1970s, mustard, navy colors and old rose in her bed pillows and cushions, and her furniture casings were of old antique brown wood.
Her eyes were empty, She seems different, strange, she wasn't herself, she was all made up, and brushing and brushing and brushing her hair and when she was done she placed her brush on the table and we pan in on her face and her eyes widened and she tried, to force a smile, a big eery demon smile, uncomfortable, big, and empty, it looks untrustworthy but most of all hungry.
* Mischievous rock music continues to play in the background*
