"i'm like...bacon." kokichi dazed, gaze drifting off into the distance as he seemed to be in a mental dimension you had no access to.

"shut up." you laughed, jabbing the plush skin of kokichi's puffed-out cheeks.

"owie, ow! why!? you're so mean, s/o!" kokichi whined.

not missing a beat, he took your vulnerable moment of laughing your ass off to his advantage, avenging himself as he tackled you to the grassy ground, revenge planned to perfection as he cradled your face into his hands.

"boooooop." kokichi giggled, pressing your nose down into a pig-like shape with his thumbs. his smile had grown so big it had actually started to strain his already adorably elastic cheeks.

"who's bacon now?"

your laughter only seemed to grow at the sound of your own nasally voice. "still you."

there was a small pink tint of flush at the tops of kokichi's cheekbones, a shade so light it could easily be mistaken for the bright sunlight. even so, you hadn't failed to notice the barely visible colour.

you hadn't failed to obsess over it either.

as you reached up to cup the curve of your palm on his pale cheek, kokichi flinched away, the action was nearly unnoticeable — but not unnoticeable by you. he still had some trouble with receiving affection, you concluded.

even so, he decided he'd lean into your palm anyway, enjoying the warmth of your hand just a little too much.

"pfft, what are you doing this time, huh? you really like my cheeks that bad? that's such a perverse body part of all things, but i guess it'd be hypocritical of me to kinksh-" you rolled over, resting yourself onto your forearms as you brought your face all the way down, so close that you were both kissing noses.

kokichi was caught off-guard, no matter how much he tried to conceal it with his blank stare — it was like that was the only time he truly expressed his emotions, if that was even classified as an emotion at all.

"why don't we both be bacon?"

"nah, you can be miss piggy, and i'll be kermit." he spoke nonchalantly, purple gaze still glued onto your stunning eyes.

"fat chance." you laughed once more, breaking kokichi's nonchalant demeanor as a small smile broke out on his own sun-kissed face.

"you laugh weird." kokichi blurted out in a small panic, not liking the way his heart palpitated so strongly as he had let his eyes scan your smiling face. he stifled the snort erupting up from his throat as he watched you react to his abrupt comment, face still slightly red — to which he hoped you wouldn't notice.

"no, i don't ; shut up. you literally laugh like a fucking horse— nishishi? what the fuck is that?" you countered a little too defensively, sneering as you leaned in closer to look him dead in the eye playfully— as if you couldn't get any more intense with your mutual staring contest.

kokichi scoffed at your direct comment at his signature phrase, looking somewhat irritated before he burst out into tears, causing you to flinch away as stray droplets had somehow flown into your eye.

"uwah! i was just lying, but it's clear that you weren't! s/o is the meanest! mean, mean, mean!" his fists gently, but still dramatically pounded into your chest in a rampage, causing inconsequential thumps to echo throughout your body.

"fine, fine, i'm sorry, you want kisses for your little boo-boo on your heart? huh?" you teased, lips feathering onto his as you curved your back to push your head closer to his.

the tears stopped and vaporized into the air as kokichi closed his eyes, letting you mould your lips with his gently, just like you always had been with his heart.

👻Signs reaction during a haunted house👻

Becuz why not, I also enjoy haunted house reactions cuz the jumpscares are literal tears of fear and joys of excitement 😀✨

💥Aries 💥

The one that probably would be saying that it wouldn’t be scary and confident about it all and may tease the others for being scared as they enter the haunted house. And then gets jump scared and be screaming in reaction/reflex and then be like (aries: fight mee u ghosttt, Person in ghost costume: 😀??) and the capricorn be snickering at aries lol and aries is like tryna recover from that jumpscare and play it off but then gets shook as the jumpscares keep coming in the remainder of the haunted house experience. And then aries be tired from all of that lol, cuz from screaming and jumping from the ghosts and ghouls scaring and popping up.

Aries: come on this is literally not even scary-

ghost comes out of nowhere: BOOOOO

Aries: AAAAAHHH SHIT OH MY GOODNESSS- jumps back like 10 feet and activates fight me mode

Aries: don't come any closer-

Ghost: .... *runs after aries*

Taurus lowkey would be pretty chill or not as nervous physically and anxious, they may be like that as the jumpscares occur they may flinch or reflex a little, but not like aries at all lol. Or they get scared for a brief moment then play it off as cool/calm quickly. And then scorpio and gemini may get bored and wanna prank taurus, where actually gemini is mainly pranking taurus cuz scorpio foresaw the outcome lol. The prank results in taurus reflexively accidentally punching gemini who dressed up in a white long sheet over their head to mimick a ghost.

Gemini: BOO!!

Taurus: Wtf- reflexively swats at the figure and ends up hitting it.

Would be making jokes and talking at the beginning as taurus and capricorn be like: pls stop talking, and gemini would be like annoyed cuz they like to fool around. They’re not actively paying attention to their surroundings for the jumpscares cuz their mind would be wandering about other things like pranking others or pretending to be one of the ghosts to make a jumpscare for the signs they’re with. And gemini basically chose taurus as their target cuz taurus is pretty unfazed for now as they walked through the house. Hence the scenario, gemini dressed up as a ghost as they creep up behind taurus and then attempting their best ghost scare, to which serves them with taurus’s fist smacking into their face under the sheet knocking them to the ground. Taurus would feel bad and pull up gemini from the ground, and then gemini pulled the sheet off of them as they were recovering from that hit and then saw a shadow figure looming around but assumed it was taurus and the other around.

Gemini: fine fine I’m sorry for pranking you, taurus can u stop being salty over it-

Would be visibly nervous or fretting about wut is to come in the haunted house, would probably be close with their group of friends specifically taurus and capricorn and virgo, taurus being chill and capricorn telling cancer it’s not that bad don’t be so worked up, and virgo being their nervous pair cuz virgo is mentally prepping themselves for the jumpscares to come. As cancer walked, they would hear something brush pass by and cancer looked back quickly and instinctively their stomach churns with nervousness as they felt more footsteps coming their way. Even tho they know a jumpscare may be coming they still don’t predict where they come out of and basically shrieks and lowkey gets distraught from the jumpscares.

Cancer: I just heard something-

Capricorn: Okay and? They’re gonna come outta here anytime anyways.

Cancer: But I’m rlly rlly nerv-

Cancer picking up speed as they push capricorn and taurus forward to move faster: I am so getting outta here

Ah yes, Leo, they wouldn’t be arrogant about it or show that they’re scared to go to the haunted house. They would be more like lets go have a good time as cancer and virgo are visibly not having it, and sagittarius would be like vibing with leo as they talk during the walk inside the house. In fact leo would be talking a lot and slowly being distracted from the thought of jumpscares and ghouls being in the haunted house so they wouldn’t be too scared cuz they’re innerly also a little worried and scared. But then sagittarius went to a different part of the house in search of something interesting cuz they saw some left over random objects like a gumball and toy mirror dusty on the ground, and leo is left alone cuz they were with sag for the most part of the house walking away from the other signs. Leo soon starts having inner thoughts and panicking of being left alone and then trying to find the rest of the group, but they lost their shoe in the midst of it-

Leo: SAG! Where are u- WHYD U LEAVE ME

Shoe gets hooked over something as Leo was walking

*Leo notices their left leg is barefoot*

Leo: I LOST MY SHOE, AND IM ALONE PRACTICALLY STRANDED, I don’t even know where the exit is- *Inner thought: is this the end*

Ghoul shows up as they were previously watching leo’s search and panick: Hey heres ur shoe

Leo: oh thanks- *processes* WAIT WUT-

Ghoul and leo becomes besties as ghoul leads leo back to their group, the end ✨

✋🏻Virgo✋🏻

Virgo the stressed out mom and mess who tries to be calm but visibly fails, starts out in the haunted house walking and comforting cancer who is nervous as capricorn walks ahead and tells them to hurry up since they’re slow. Aries then teases and makes fun of cancer for being a nervous wreck as virgo is not having it telling aries to quit it. Then as virgo and cancer follow with capricorn, later they hear someone screaming coming to the group in fear, which that person was gemini who after that failed prank onto taurus had scared themselves from an actual ghoul jumpscare and clings onto virgo’s arm. Virgo is confused and tells gemini to let go becuz they were gripping so hard. Cancer left to keep up with capricorn as virgo has to deal with gemini being a mess and then virgo realizes they’re lost becuz the map of the haunted house that they got at the beginning of the entrance by the distributor was in cancer’s pocket.

Virgo: will u quit it, my arm hurts

Gemini who is still recovering from that jumpscare: but I’m scared just let me take hostage of ur arm

Virgo: uhm 😐 anyways *realizes they’re lost becuz the map was with cancer and cancer left to go with the other group* SHIT....

Gemini: hm wut?

Virgo shaking gemini off to go find cancer and the rest of the group but ends up being lost themselves

Virgo at the verge of a meltdown: I HATE THIS, where are the others, * inner thoughts consume of worries* wut do I do...

(Virgo trips and basically has the mental meltdown and cries as they pick themselves up while a nearby person dressed as a ghost saw the whole ordeal and felt bad for virgo so they helped lead virgo to the exit)

Virgo once seeing everyone at the exit and specifically gemini: I am so going to throw u to the depths of the abyss to hell, if u hadn’t gripped onto me GeMiNi, and if aries wasn’t being so obnoxiously loud at the beginning teasing cancer the group wouldn’t be split and we would’ve kept the same pace- Virgo continues on a rant to gemini

🌸Libra🌸

Libra would be nervous considering they know wut a haunted house experience would entail to, but would still fairly dress up for it as they follow inside with aquarius and pisces. Pisces was also scared and would rather not be there but decided to go as long as the signs would go, and aquarius was chill about it and wanted to enjoy the haunted house. As they walked, libra flinched hearing aries scream as pisces glanced and said aries probably got spooked while aquarius was laughing imagining aries reaction lol. Libra soon spotted virgo and cancer up ahead and told pisces and aquarius to hurry up so we can catch up, but then suddenly a flashing bright white light shone across the other side of the wall. Libra and the rest decide to go the other way to avoid a possible jump scare, as they saw two shadow figures up ahead assuming it was some of the signs from the group.

Pisces: omg that was so eerie with that light coming out of no where

Libra: tell me about it, hey who’s that up ahead?

Aquarius: hm idk but it looks like two ppl

Libra: maybe they’re from the group? *gets an unsure feeling about this*

Aquarius and pisces: Idk... * both sensing it may not be the signs from the group*

But libra walked ahead to check it out anyways becuz someone has to do it: Hey did u guys get jumpscared yet? Aries sure did cuz that scream surely belonged to Aries lol-

Both figures turned their heads, they were dressed up as creepy twin dolls: 👁—👁

Libra: AAAUHHHSH *Shrieks that could break literal glass*

🐈‍⬛Scorpio🐈‍⬛

Ah yes, we have reached scorpio. Scorpio who entered the haunted house with gemini as they were talking and making comments about the situation and the signs reaction if they were scared in the beginning of the walk. Then taurus and capricorn would tell gemini to stop chatting so much becuz gemini was talking a lot during the conversation, and then secretly gemini suggested with scorpio to prank taurus, scorpio entertained that idea briefly till thinking of the outcome considering taurus. And so scorpio didn’t participate and wandered off to see the remaining parts of the house as Scorpio saw virgo running in the next hallway. Left alone in the dark scorpio was relishing the quiet moment and looked at the paintings hung crookedly upon the walls till a crunch of a footstep disturbed it, and a ghoul was standing behind a wall peering through the corner.

The ghoul scurried quickly behind to scorpio with its dark black themed costume: SHRIEEK

Scorpio unfazed: You’re too loud ugh

Ghoul not giving up: peers infront of scorpio creepily as they extend their clawed fingernails to scare scorpio furthermore*

Scorpio: you look dumb, maybe try being more discreet for the jumpscare

Ghoul: shrinking away, sullen that they couldn’t scare scorpio*

Scorpio then felt a little bad at the pitiful stance of the ghoul trudging away lol

😄Sagittarius😄

Sagittarius who went into the haunted house with leo as they chatted along the way, their voice echoing throughout the house cuz they're loud af lol. Soon however sagittarius wandered off seeing a isolated room with some leftover gumballs on the floor and decorative broken toy mirror covered in dust on the ground. Sagittarius traced the gumballs origin to a deserted gumball machine in the corner of the room. And sagittarius was feeling hungry so pulling out a few quarters they inserted into the gumball machine to receive four gumballs. Mouth full with two gumballs as sagittarius chewed they went to go explore the other deserted rooms in the house as they came across a pitch dark room that felt omniscient. Entering it sagittarius looked around to see the stuff inside the room and since it was really darker than the other rooms sag moved closer to the specks of light that shone upon some objects in the room. Seeing a doll on top of a shelf, sagittarius went ahead to check out the doll and as they did, a tap on the shoulder of sagittarius was felt.

Sag checking out the doll's features and grey blueish eyes pupils that were a literal circle: ooh they must've crafted this very detailed, it looks so real it could be alive-

*tap tap*

Sagittarius turned around to see a figure as they stared at the figure's eyes and face that were covered in blood with a decorative axe worn on their head and their ripped doll costume-

"Shit"

Sagittarius bolting out the door to the room immediately as the person dressed as a dead doll chased after them: this is crazyyy-aaAAAHH

🕶Capricorn🕶

Capricorn wasn't really interested into going to a haunted house, but aries wanted them to come saying it will be fun and trying to egg them that if they won't come it's cuz they're a chicken, and cancer and pisces said they won't come unless capricorn comes. So capricorn gives in. Capricorn arrives at the haunted house and aries and gemini were already making some mess, aries making fun of cancer being nervous and gemini was slowly creeping up to cancer and mini jump scaring them. Capricorn a bit annoyed at the amount of noise and bored cuz the jumpscares didn't happen yet. While the ordeal with gemini attempting to scare taurus resulted in gemini getting hit, as capricorn heard the noise and gemini's voice, capricorn continued walking ahead while taurus followed capricorn after helping gemini up. Then they saw and notice a ghoul stalking them from a few feet away.

Capricorn: This has been boring, I wanted to see some interesting "monsters" come up to us and give us the "scare".

Taurus: Well I don't really mind they're not rlly scary the jumpscares.

Gemini screaming in the background around this time from that ghoul jumpscare*

Capricorn: jeez, was that gemini screaming?

Taurus: I can definitely confirm, gemini talks a lot so we should know their voice.

Capricorn: Gosh this experience is not even exciting or new

Both stop after hearing some footsteps treading behind*

Capricorn: Someone's following us right taurus

Taurus: yup.

Capricorn peered behind seeing a ghoul a few feet away hiding in plainsight: come out wherever u are*sarcasm*

The ghoul stayed in its place and capricorn continues back to talking to taurus.

The ghoul appeared to the shoulder of capricorn and cackled in their ear: Hehe do you have anything to offer before I steal your soul and lead you to the underworld?

Capricorn turns around and begins telling the ghoul off: Or wut cry and drag me to the boat that charon uses in the river of styx of the underworld? I might as well give u a pomegranate for u to eat so you can be bound to the underworld and never leave to come bother me again.

Ghoul shrinks back from that comeback and sulks from that entire smartass comment.

Taurus in the background: Damn you roasted the poor ghoul

💫Aquarius💫

Aquarius was not really overthinking the experience of the haunted house, literally taking some pictures of the entrance of the haunted house to remember this moment as they went inside. As pisces and libra was in the group, aquarius was walking and looking at some of the decoration placed on the ground to create the atmosphere. Aquarius nudged pisces to point out the decorative rocks that were painted with spiderweb patterns and some painted to look like eyeballs. Pisces opened a drawer and found fake blood liquid with eyeballs inside it and yelped. Aquarius took a picture of the scene as pisces told aquarius that this shouldn't be in a drawer. Libra tells the group to move ahead as the duo picked up speed to get to libra. While a skeleton was slinking behind the corridor of a hallway following aquarius.

Aquarius: Hey pisces look here!

Pisces turns around: Wut- AHHHH

Aquarius was holding a realistic tarantula and a painted severed hand.

Aquarius: Look at these cool decorations, they are rlly well painted

Pisces after the shock crept closer: ur right, the nails and hand wrinkles are intricate, and the fur on that spider.

Aquarius: I know right, you wanna hold it and I'll take a selfie of you

Pisces: uhm sure *takes the tarantula and severed hand and poses with it next to the sides of her face*

Aquarius: Say cheeseee

Pisces: Chee- AQUARIUS BEHIND YOU

Aquarius: Huh-

Skeleton: HELLO THERE.... WOULD U LIKE TO BE.... MY.... LITTLE FRIENDD?

Aquarius: Sure, why not?

Skeleton: Wait wut- I MEAN WHAT DID YOU SAY?

Aquarius: I can be your friend, you're cool

Skeleton mumbles to themselves: This wasn't wut I was expecting...

Aquarius: hm? oh that was supposed to be a jump scare, well since pisces gave me a heads up, eh sorry man.

Skeleton sighs: Thats okay... NOW YOU'RE MY FLESHY FRIENDD

Pisces: This is just a weird turn of events

🐠Pisces🐠

Last of them all, pisces. Pisces thought a haunted house experience would be enlightening and interesting but ofc they wanted to be reassured with the company of friends and all, hence libra and aquarius were with pisces. As the trio entered the haunted house, pisces felt a bit weary thinking of the dark and dreary decorations like dusty spiderweb skulls in the crevices and eyeballs in unexpected place. As the eyeball incident in the drawer that pisces opened out of interest scared them for a bit, they wandered together with aquarius after aquarius' interaction with a skeleton that wanted to scare aqua from behind. Pisces soon saw a room that was pitch dark but had a blueish lighting glow from the entrance, as pisces wander into it they saw that the floor was blueish tiled, and the lighting was set by mood lamps and lights strung upon the walls, which were ofc decorated to be spooky and hidden in the dark crevices.

Pisces: Hmm this room seems the most artistically pretty, the floor feels eerie yet entrancing

As pisces continued to walk, they saw decorative aquariums with fake fish painted as zombified fish in the tank that had led lights of the color blue on in the fish tanks. they then saw a shadow around the floor as they moved to one side of the room. A weeping sound can be heard..

Pisces looked further to see a female figure or wut the person dressed in to be a feminine dress that was accented with white and blue, they were sitting on the ground with their head down.

Pisces going closer: Uhm are you okay..?

The figure stopped their weeping and turned their head to face pisces, which they had a white long veil like a wedding veil shielding their face and hair. Their eyes were empty, presumably by use of white contacts that had no pupils in it at all.

Pisces: Uhhhhh...... *slowly backing away*

Dead bride: Have you seen my lover?

Pisces: Yo-Your what?

Dead bride: My loverr.... Victor is... his name

Pisces: Aha... no.... *quickly walks out of that room*

Dead bride: no... you must take me to him! Only u know.....

The dead bride soon followed pisces as pisces freaks out picking up their pace and practically running towards aquarius and the rest as a dead bride chased after her.

Pisces found that experience traumatizing(maybe spooky af) but also an intriguing memory lol

Fyi these are just for entertainment lol, ofc not everyone with their sunsign in these zodiac signs won't react exactly the same lol, purely for fun and a good laugh

i lack proper word choice so you will be seeing the words “good” and “scene” repeatedly

spoilers below!!

1. run boy run - i knew this was gonna come in first the moment i started making this list. the first time i saw this scene i almost threw up bc it hit so hard. i think i’ve watched it over 50 times and it just hurts every damn time. there was never a more perfect song choice in the rest of the show. basically, this scene is the reason run boy run is my top song of the decade.

2. istanbul - no fight scene will ever top this. this song goes so well with the scene and for what? i get whiplash everytime i hear istanbul now

3. the walker - i love the bank scene with all my heart, it’s so fun and the song just works with it

4. saturday night - the way this song is introduced is SO GOOD!! i was in love with it. i used to watch the part where they all run in a line in the lines religiously

5. my way - i had a freak out when the umbrella academy account posted this and then i watched it and freaked out even more. watching the siblings come together to use their powers and doing it with this song playing was perfect, especially the part when the bombs dropped

6. in the heat of the moment - what can i say, i’m a sucker for scenes of five in the apocalypse. i don’t know why i like this scene so much but it might be the song. anyways

7. mary - THIS SCENE IS SO SAD HGSDAGHJ first time i cried watching umbrella academy… and the song is so fucking good

8. the order of death - this scene gave me goosebumps i stg it’s so good

9. golden brown - i fell in love with this scene and this song the first time i watched it and i really can’t explain why. it just hits different

10. soul kitchen - i love this scene so much that it hurts. i hate saying this but the vibes are off the charts. until dave fucking dies

11. kill of the night - i love five that’s all i have to say

12. right back where we started - i love how they did this! the song choice + the way they displayed the years was great

13. all die young - sad montage #3 this scene HITS and i can’t explain why

“stop worrying too much, it’s gonna be fine! everything’s gonna go exactly as planned,” seungkwan reassured while the both of you made your way towards the court.

“you’re the one who’s worrying, kwan,” you rolled your eyes, “i can’t believe i even agreed to this.”

around a week ago, the male hadgracefully interrupted your peaceful shift at the school’s cafe. apparently, his friends in the volleyball team (mainly kim mingyu) have been egging him about ‘finally removing the shackles of being single.’

“it’s not like i can’t get a girlfriend,” he scoffed, glaring at the iced americano before him. “it’s more like i just can’t be bothered. but lately, they’ve been the ones bothering me.”

you questioned the male as to why exactly he’s telling you these things. it’s not like the both of you were close, anyways. a few “hello’s” were shared in the hallway but besides that, nothing much.

“you see, dear y/n,” seungkwan slowly placed down his drink while letting out a sigh, his face practically screaming 'a weekend in hell would seem more tolerable’. “i don’t think i can fucking handle any more of their bullshit and pestering and you seem to be the perfect solution that i have.”

he went on about his 'ingenious’ plan of finally getting his friends off his tail— which basically just consisted of you pretending to be his fake girlfriend.

upon hearing this, you sternly declined. “im sorry, seungkwan. im afraid i wouldn’t be to help you in fooling your friends.”

“wait—!”

before you even managed to stand up, seungkwan slammed both of his hands on the woods table— deliberately catching the attention of not only you, but also the handful of students that were occupying the café, as well.

he stifled out a cough and went back to his seat, “let me finish.”

you sighed, “this better not be a waste of time,” seungkwan gave you a look of offense to which you rolled your eyes, “hurry up.”

the male pressed both of his palms together, letting out a deep exhale through his nose. he mumbled a low 'i hope i don’t fucking regret this’ before looking you sternly. (he hoped you hadn’t heard him, but guess what: you did.)

“be my fake girlfriend. in exchange, i’ll treat you to brunch every single day during our fake relationship. deal?”

is this guy really that desperate? you though to yourself. you spend a few moments of pondering silence until seungkwan interrupted.

“oh come on! you get to have free foodand commit a good deed— how hard is it to decide?”

a long sign escaped from your lips. it’s either the rational part of your brain decided to temporarily shut down, or he just seemed really pitiful. whatever it is, you agreed to help him. if that was the correct choice, you don’t know.

“oh my god, thank you so much, y/n! i swear, you just saved ten years of my lifespan.” you rolled your eyes, standing up with the male following behind you.

before you returned back to the staff room, you decided to ask seungkwan a question.

“one last thing, seungkwan,” he raised a brow, waiting for you to continue, “out of all the people, why’d you ask me to help you?”

he stayed silent for a while, formulating a proper response.

“y/n,” your eyes met his. you could feel your cheeks starting to heat up as he looked at you with such intensity. your breath hitching in your throat, anticipating on what he has to say.

“from the handful of conversations we’ve had before, i could conclude that you literally have the emotional capacity of a brick. therefore if we don’t seem convincing, we can blame in on your incapability to express human emotions! aren’t i a genius?”

you nearly slapped the man, but nevertheless you relented.

so that’s where the both of you are now— walking hand in hand to the volleyball court where his friends await your arrival.

“oh shush, we’re already almost there. no room for backing out, now,” you shot a glare at him, earning a smug smile from the male. you’d be lying if you said you weren’t nervous; acting isn’t exactly your strong suit.

you felt seungkwan squeeze your hand, “you don’t have to be afraid to tell me if you’re nervous. your face might not say it, but your incessant shaking does.”

“sorry,” you breathed, “i’ll be fine.”

“'fine’ my ass,” seungkwan scoffed, “it’s completely normal to show at least the tiniest bit of emotion sometimes, you know.”

“excuse you, i am more that capable of showing emotions— you just don’t deserve it.” you snide, the male chortling in response.

“seems like i do; i’ve never seen you this annoyed before,” he snickers. you could only groan as the both of you enter the court’s premises.

from afar, you could see five figures sitting around the benches. you can only recognize one of them; a kid name lee chan— whom you share sociology with. you assumed these guys are his friends.

seungkwan dragged you to a corner before you head to the group. he grabbed both of your shoulders, letting out a long breath, “alright, don’t forget— we met at a bookstore in town and found out that we both share the same school. we decided to hang out quite often and eventually grew feelings for each other—”

“then you asked me out four months ago at the same bookstore where we first met. i know, seungkwan. don’t worry, i’ve memorized all of it,” he let out a sigh of relief.

“good, good. if anything wrong happens—” a flash of fear shrouds seungkwan’s face, “let’s just hope not, yeah? i’d rather not think about the immense torment i’d end up having to go through if this fails,” he shuddered.

the both of you finally decided to make your way towards his friends. you could see the male’s nervous expression at the corner of your eyes. seeing that didn’t exactly make you feel any better.

“seungkwan!” you see the tallest of the bunch waving at the man beside you.

an exasperated sigh escaped seungkwan’s lips as you quickened your pace towards the group. you could sense the curious looks that each of the boys are giving you as you neared and it didn’t exactly make you feel comfortable. you bit the inside of your cheek when you finally reached them.

“y/n? i wasn’t aware you and seungkwan were close,” chan chin pointed at the male beside you, earning an offended look from him. “i also wasn’t aware that you were interested in volleyball. much less any sport, to be honest,” he shrugged.

you opened your mouth to give a response, but seungkwan beat you to it, “she’s just here to watch practice.” you could feel the nervousness in his voice and silently praying that the boys don’t notice it, as well.

“doesn’t answer anything, though—”

“were dating,” you deadpan.

it was silent. too silent for your liking. a surge of anxiousness started to creep into your brain and you started to have a meltdown. wait fuck was i not supposed to say that? you looked at the male beside you for assurance, but he didn’t seem to be faring any better.

yep, we’re fucked. definitely, absolutely, utterly—

“holy shit, kwannie, congratulations!”

“man, i really thought you were gonna stay single for the rest of your life, kwan,” one of the boys (to which you later learned was seungcheol) proclaimed, trapping seungkwan in his arms. you could practically see his soul slowly descending back into his body.

you let out a sigh of relief. thank lord jesus, i didn’t fuck up.

after learning their names, the boys suddenly attacked the both of you with a torrent of questions— mostly consisting about your apparent relationship. (the one named jeonghan asked if you two have fucked yet, which earned him a bruise on his arm.)

thanks to seungkwan’s constant surprise quizzes, you managed to answer all of them. they all seemed to be convinced that you and seungkwan are indeed dating— except for one, that is.

“didn’t you say you were too busy for a relationship literally just a month ago?” jihoon, who had been quiet since you’ve arrived, asked.

“i— i wasn’t ready to tell you guys yet,” seungkwan responded, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. the shorter male only narrowed his eyes at him.

“don’t worry about it, seungkwan. i understand,” jeonghan leans back on the bench, “i wouldn’t want to tell this guy i have a girlfriend either, who knows what he’ll do,” he accusingly points at mingyu, who was innocently using his phone.

“what’s that supposed to mean?” he furrowed his brows and pocketed the device. the two started to bicker and eventually, the rest of the boys joined in.

“you literally hooked up with minhee last time— who, in fact, has a boyfriend.”

"that was one time! and i didn’t even know that, she never told me!”

amidst the chaos, you felt someone tug on the sleeve of your shirt. you turn your head and see seungkwan giving you a small smile, “thanks a lot for agreeing to this. sorry that you have to witness their bullshit and i’ll apologize in advance since i’m pretty sure that there’ll be more to come.”

“it’s fine,” you muse, “they’re quite the entertainment, actually.”

“oh? is that a smile i see?” seungkwan teases. your cheeks flush a light pink, turning away from the male.

he gives you a playful smack, “hey, that’s not fair! let me see—”

before seungkwan could tease you any further, seungcheol decided to interrupt, “alright, kids, stop messing around. let’s head to practice— we’ve wasted enough time, already.”

a series of groans and whines erupted, but nevertheless, they all followed. the boys began to make their way to the center of the court while you stayed behind at the benches. you sat down and closed your eyes, letting out a long sigh. these guys were nice and all but they we’re pretty draining; you weren’t sure if you could keep up with them the next time seungkwan decides to bring you along.

in the middle of your peace and quiet, you could hear a pair of footsteps making their way towards you. you opened your eyes and saw seungkwan in front of you.

you raised a brow, “aren’t you supposed to start practice?”

“seungcheol can’t find his water bottle,” he takes a seat beside you, “i wonder why.”

you elbowed the male, eliciting a yelp from him, “ow! what was that for? if you’re thinking that i hid it then you’re wrong— it was jeonghan!”

the male gave you a pout and you stuck your tongue out in response.

“wow, you’re getting better at the whole emotions thing,” again, you elbowed him, “stop that! this is domestic abuse, i could sue you, you know!”

you could see seungcheol gesturing seungkwan to come back. it seems like he finally found his water bottle. seungkwan groaned as he begrudgingly stood up. before he left, he decided to tell you one more thing.

“hey, y/n. i know this whole relationship thing is fake but i really hope we like, enjoy each other’s company, y'know? i don’t want you to do this if you don’t want to.” he said.

“i wouldn’t have agreed in the first place if i wasn’t okay with it,” you explain, “i mean yeah, i was hesitant at first and mainly did it for the free food. but as we went along i um—”

seungkwan looked at you expectantly, the corners of his lips twitching upwards. you bit your lip and averted your eyes from him.

“i—i kind of like being with you,” a coat of red covers your cheeks as you uttered out each word. seungkwan couldn’t help but break out into a huge grin upon hearing you.

“no need to be shy, yn. the feeling’s mutual,” the male pats your head, causing you to glare at him, “yikes, we could work on your expressions though. you don’t glare at the guy you like being with.”

you tried to kick his foot but he managed to dodge. he let out a laugh at your failed attempt. lucky for him, seungcheol yelled at him to get back before you could try to abuse him any further.

“boo seungkwan! get your ass over here before i do it myself. you could hang out with your girlfriend later.”

“yes dad, i’m coming!”

you could hear a chorus of laughter coming from the rest of the boys. he gave you one last look before finally taking his leave.

“don't forget we have brunch tomorrow.” he said.

i have recs!!! first of all ty for asking me abt it hdgfs !! i’ll make u a list !! i will try to stay concise but i have bolded n linked the most important stuff since i tend to blabber a lot! there r groups i purposely didnt recommend! also! i advise you to look up who did what if you want to know why idcs abt certain artists that r big in kpop (like big//ba//ng, su//ju, bl//ock//b, ma//ma//moo & so on) tl;dr: kpop basics (spotify) + @tearera (my kpop sb)

i’ll start w some RECS but jsyk kpop as u might have heard of it is mainly composed of groups! which is why i’ll start w groups then soloists! of course u can check out most of them on spotify (u can listen to their playlist of the most famous songs atm!). please notice that the kpop industry is very ‘classic’ when it comes to concepts (cute r for gorls! badass r for boys!) so um. yeah. yikes. if i had to argue abt all the things i find wrong in this industry this post would become a manifesto, u can always pm me if u want to hear me complain lmao 

GIRL GROUPS

honestly…. TWICE are the first one that came to my mind when i thought of ggs to rec. they’re a 9 member group labelled under jyp entertainment n have debuted in 2015 with the bop like ooh aah… that u can listen to! their genre is mainly cute songs but dont be fooled!! they have extremely powerful songs & lyrics as well! some good starts with their music are LIKEY (2017, a bop, great melody, great rapping, one of their ult feel good songs, played @ the olympics), TT (2016, queens of halloween!), and also their most recent song WHAT IS LOVE (2018, iconic!! gay!! bop!! sweet!! great album!!). as twice are the kind that can set you off by their cuteness and playful vibes, i recommend you to check out some of their side tracks. personality wise, the girls r very fun and sweet! they’re all angels and i love them all THIS MUCH!! if u want to know, sana & dahyun r my favourite members!         

also queens, but from sm entertainment this time, Red Velvet are a 5 member gg who have debuted in 2015 with the song Happiness (at that time they were only 4 but the youngest member, Yeri, joined later on!). some very famous songs of theirs are… basically all their title tracks but i’d mainly recommend Russian Roulette, Dumb Dumb (also my fave rv music video!!), Peek-a-boo (what’s better than lesbians witches slaying men and eating pizza), Bad Boy (honestly… one of their best songs… title track of their repackaged album…good shit if u will). of course! there are some side tracks i will recommend! i will frankly say that i listen to a lot of their music and they’re my favourite musically! some faves in no particular order are automatic, cool hot sweet love, huff n puff, something kinda crazy, about love, kingdom come, little little and talk to me! they have very versatile genres and have two main themes of music, the red and the velvet, though these mix often! rlly! their music really good. they have amazing choreographies too!!!!

the third gg i will rec are one that have not debuted yet, it’s LOONA! get ready bc they are a 12 member group with one girl for every month. each girl was revealed every month staring from 2016 with a single album composed of one song and one side track that usually features another member! as this group has yet to debut, i cannot show you anything with all twelve members but! they work with units, there are three: loona 1/3, odd eye circle, and yyxy (tune in for their debut scheduled for may!) that each have an album. 1/3 r more of a cute girly concept, while odd eye circle have played strongly on the girl crush & rnb concept. we have yet to see what yyxy has for us n im frankly v excited!!! my fave singles are Around You (hyunjin), Let Me In (haseul), Singing in the rain (jinsoul, best girl), Eclipse (kim lip), and Heart Attack (by chuu!! also best girl). they have already released a lot of music so go ahead & listen to it! their music videos have a plot and it’s one of those theories fandom (loonaverse)! the positions that all the members will have wasn’t been revealed yet!

ok i stan two boy groups so that’ll be quick! i’ll also rec plenty of music!

the main group i stan is BTS aka the bangtan boys and yes… they’re everywhere… they deserve it tbh… so theyre a 7 member boy group and they’re the first kpop group i ever stanned! they have released a lot of songs already but i’ll just mark something! bts are known for their cinematography and plot in their music videos as well as their politically/socially engaged songs. they debuted in 2013 with the youth-conscious song no more dream and um. forget the mv. the message is what’s important. secondly! my favourite eps & albums are DARK&WILD (forget abt war of hormone), The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt2, WINGS, and Love Yourself 轉 Tear (which will be released on May 18th so stay tuned!). here’s a beginner’s list to bts & their music videos: spring day, blood sweat & tears, run, fire, i need u, and intros: singularity, serendipity. i cannot recommend bts songs bc i’d be unable to pick some, but here is my bangtan favourites playlist and spotify’s This Is BTS! n their most known song atm, still on charts, DNA. another thing!! they dabble in a lot of genres! there is a constant symbolism in most of their songs and music videos, which is why there are theories! also, here are my fave choreos (x x x) & non-official releases (x x x)! also! j-hope recently released a mixtape! check it out! it’s v good! the bad thing is that the fandom is massive n it is filled with young fans so a lot of fan-created content is cringey. apart from that! theyre lovely as a band n i’m not ashamed to say that they bring me most of my joy these days!

then there is… NCT. ok, let’s dive into them. nct is the acronym for Neo Culture Technology, they’re currently an 18 member boy group but hey! don’t be scared! they too work in units and have only released one song which features all 18 of them! it is likely that the band will expand later on & that the name NCT will become a brand (like akb48 u know). so far! there are three units! NCT DREAM (based on age, with the youngest members who r still minors), NCT U (the first unit to have debuted, aka nct united, a rotative unit with no fixed genre or members list) and NCT 127 (seoul based unit, fixed, with 9 members). they’re known for their experimentative and diversified sound, which goes from ballads to… this. while each unit have their distinct genre and vibe, they’re all under the same label of nct! and um, check out spotify’s nct playlist if u want! here r some songs that are basics! bolded r the faves! jsyk i hated their music & their clothes @ first bc it’s so unique so dw if u dislike them!

the last group i’ll present in length n that u should know about is SEVENTEEN. they’re a 13 member boy group & work in units as well but mainly promote w all the members! they’re the fun, sweet, talented, heartfelt refreshing boys we all love tbh! so! seventeen debuted in 2015 with the bop adore u and since then it’s been great song over great song… they also have great choreos! they’re the easiest group to listen to imo bc their songs are mostly light and very similar to what you can hear on teen top radios! then, they get stuck in your head very easily! here are some songs u can listen to that will make your day! mansae, very nice, pretty u, clap, don’t wanna cry, change up, n there are many more! some of my faves are when i grow up, trauma, still lonely, rocket, crazy in love, lean on me, and uhgh rlly all of their songs tbh! three units better known as teams: hip-hop, performance and vocal, with a leader in each. they put up great performances!!

then there is shinee, mostly nicknamed the kings of kpop, i’d make a very long desc but! i suggest you to see for yourself as the fandom is v helpful!

Okay, with KnightsEnd and the second huntress mini under my belt, let's recap on 90s Gotham so far! (also absolutely FLOORED that i'm already up to '94 at this point ;-; the 90s are flyin by)

Jean-Paul

I know i mentioned it rlly briefly, but it really rubbed me the wrong way how Jean-Paul clearly having DID was being... handled not well in terms of the narrative. There was KIND of a last minute turnaround with the last issue for the KnightsEnd arc (that i guess was supposed to absolve Jean in Bruce/the narrative's eyes? Kind of?) it just... left me feeling very hollow ig

again, mostly I stuck to Knightfall and KnightsEnd, not a whole lot of Bat!Jean in btwn except for the ones that already crossed over with some of the other characters. I dont think I'll be revisiting this period of time for Jean and I've heard it gets better for him in his upcoming solo. i was rlly endeared to his character earlier on, so im holding out hope that this was.... just an odd phase for DC editorial (which seems to be mostly the case from what I've gathered)

Renee & Steph

just stepping in very briefly here to say that Renee is getting pretty regular page time right alongside Bullock. after knightfall its made especially clear and that she's def on Team Batman™, so thats a fun seed to see planted

steph had a very very short team-up again with tim, still spurred by her dad breaking out of prison briefly. dixon is def planting those timsteph seeds and im not super thrilled by how he's choosing to go about it. but i did know that this was going to happen in advance so

uhh, she cameo'd rlly briefly in knightfall! which was cool to see!

team-up with Black Canary was nice to see, but the plot was *screams internally* (yikes). general content warning for a blatantly racist portrayal of arabian people/culture. (considering this was post-desert storm tho, i cant even say that im surprised. just tired and disappointed)

the Huntress mini was a pretty quick read, and i did kind of vibe with the art. it was mostly lineless, had a lot of style, and the shading/shadows for a lot of the scenes were really dynamic and added quite a bit to the overall tone. a nitpick that i have for it tho, is that its pretty clear that dixon didnt do his homework bc the man from helena's past who assaulted her was killed by the same man who helped train her initially. it was major point in the first solo like fjdakl;fld

otherwise, it also... feels pretty obvious to me that dixon isnt comfortable with writing for the character. her emotional state feels a little all over the place/turns on a dime, and i'll give him a LITTLE benefit of the doubt that maybe it could be the limited time that he had for the run... but something about this just... didn't quite feel like Helena to me. idk, isn't gonna be one that i see myself ever revisiting

Starting off Tim's Robin run right in the middle of the fallout of Knightfall was... an interesting choice. but one that i wont begrudge them too much.

finishing up to issue 9, tho, it feels like a pretty solid start for an on-going. Tim's voice is certainly starting to come clearer & what I def think is helping with that is having one writer mostly focused on him now.

whether or not he'll grow on me tho, remains to be seen, but I can still see why others latch onto him. he's very much still finding his footing with Bruce & with the Robin role. and ultimately, he's wish-fulfillment for the 90s comic nerd teen at this point in his character. he's trying to have it all, being the hero and getting the girl, and so far he's def falling behind in one of those regards (it seems pretty definitive that he and Ariana broke up oof), and scraping by in the other (but after the month/year he's had, i can hardly blame him on that front)

it'll be interesting to see where Tim & Jean's relationship goes now that Jean will be going back to Azrael, and while im sure there will be plenty more bumps in my reading to come, it's nice to have a slightly clearer path now that so many solos will be comprising the majority of my reading

so I haven’t watched the early show in a lil while but I have read the manga again more recently (still nothing past first inter high tho) but fuk it I’m gonna make vague references and probably say things wrong anyway. As u all know me for, a greasy lil Lizard stan, the bit between Midousuji and Imaizumi was fucking hilarious to me from how 1: people blow it out of proportion and 2: How spoiled Imaizumi rlly is.

I say “spoiled” in both monetary ways and social ways I guess. From my experience growing up without either of those things it’s very easy to sniff out someone who’s god damn spoiled. And being spoiled is ok, I’m grateful for you all who had great childhoods, so long as your not a dick about it then we’re all fine. But what I’m getting at here is more important so w/e

In middle school, lil Imaizumi got Lied To by a lizard who crawled right out of hell and told him his mom was somehow killed by a middle school kid on a bike. (I hope I go out like that, too.) And because Richie Rich turned into Boo Boo the Fool, he now holds a grudge over that until like. Present day.

Start o inter high he’s like “?!?!?!?! MIDASOJgh?!!?” when he sees him up on the stage and Midou’s like “oh lookat that peasant down there. Yucky. I wonder if he still thinks his mom is dead” And of course Midousuji fuckin makes fun of him and teases him because it’s so incredibly easy to gets Imaizumi’s pampered little goat. Imaizumi is so not used to being lied to or teased, not used to ppl being nice and spoiling him like his lil chauffeur and his parents, that when someone lies to him he eats it right up and then throws a decade long fit.

This still shows later when he throws down his helmet in the middle of the race and whines that he’ll never b good like Kinjou, just because he didn’t get where he wanted to be like, immediately. Thank god Kinjou isn’t like me because I woulda torn his head off, but instead Kinjou Taught Him a Thing or whatever I can’t remember. Imaizumi grew from it. Hooray !!!

sO Imaizumi’s character growth sort of goes into the direction of “hard work is gonna get u somewhere with time, experience the real world and experience them hardships, u spoiled muffin, it’ll make you stronger as a person” WHICH I THINK IS GOOD!!! GOOD CHARACTER PLOT!!! I love Imaizumi and his spoiled life!! Learning how to be patient and that hard work will get him there but it’ll take time too !! GOod writing!! Wowza!! His whole first set up was Imaizumi being a lil kid who has everything but he’s BORED with everything, so now he’s working on cycling, in which talent can’t be handed to him.

I WENT TO THE TORONTO DIAMOND EDGE CONCERT AND THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE

ok first of all it honestly didn’t even hit me that this was ACTUALLY HAPPENING

then the lights dimmed & svt was thERE and i realized holy fucking shit this was real i’m seeing them in reAL LIFE HOLY SHIT

let me tell you, they are all fucking STUNNING. they look like they do in all the pictures/music videos except IN PERSON and it was incredible, they all had perfect skin and looked absolutely gorgeous

my friends and i had seats pretty up close (in row F) but on the far right so we saw everything from a weird angle, luckily we had aisle seats so i had some space to see, but i mostly ended up focusing on the members dancing closer to our side of the stage

they introduced themselves and i lost my shit at every single one of them

hoshi was so hyper god bless him he was jumping all over the place and fooling around and had so much energy i was so happy to see that, he did the whole “what time is it” and everyone shrieked “10:10″ it was amazing

anyways when vernon started to say “it’s the end of the concert” i got so shook bc it literally felt like the concert just started??? the entire concert itself was like 2 hours but it didn’t feel like it at all!

but they performed don’t wanna cry and then an encore of shining diamond and healing and it was lovely

we had a special project where during healing we held up banners and shit and they looked genuinely so surprised and touched

like vernon and josh kept repeating how touched they were, and mingyu looked like he might start crying, and seungkwan was really close to my side of the stage and you could see how his eyes were shining and how bright his smile is, like they were all so heartfelt and humble and kept talking about how much they enjoyed the concert and how happy they were to be here and how they want to come back to toronto as soon as possible

it was that exact moment where i realized i fucking love svt so much and i sold my entire life to them

this was supposed to be one concert i can splurge on and then never again, but after seeing that i decided my wallet can fucking deal with it

anyways the hi touch went by so fast i was a little disappointed, like u rlly didn’t have time to do anything but maybe blurt out an “i love you” to every member and give them a hi five

there’s some drama going around on twitter right now where soonyoung apparently threw shade at the fans mobbing them at pearson airport but idk if it’s actually true or not, it was hard for me to hear where i was standing but i knew for a fact that the translator was pretty terrible lmao he couldn’t keep up with svt at all

there was a disabled fan in a wheelchair up in the front on our side of the stage and they were all so sweet, they always smiled and waved at her, especially seungkwan and soonyoung

they really made sure that everyone felt noticed, they made sure to look around and wave at everyone in the balconies and shit too

jeonghan was an absolute angel???? he really made sure us carats on the far right of the stage felt appreciated, he took a lot of time to come close to our side and wave at all of us i wanted to cry

mingyu was really good with waving at us too, he’s tall and skinnier than i expected but an actual darling. my pal nush has a video where they were all lined up and he looked almost rIGHT AT HER and waved just as she was moving the camera to film her man junhui she was dying on the train this morning when she found out lmao

Seventeen in Toronto Highlights (Long Post)

this is gonna be such a shit post im basically ranting bc i have a lot of seventeen feels rn (its gonna be long too)

the concert happened like 4 days ago and I’m still not over it

Okay so I live in new Brunswick so it was a 15 hour drive one way. We drove up the day before and drove home the day after.

It was tiring, but so worth it. One of the best experiences of my life(oh btw i went with a friend ^^)

(not relevant to the concert but we went to a cute Korean store called Sarah and Tom which had a MASSIVE collection of kpop albums so I bought Going Seventeen and a BTS album :) )

Alright so the concert was at a place called Massey Hall which is more like a theater than a concert stadium [lowkey looked like a place you would go to see a play or an opera or some shit]

it was a pretty small place so really no matter where you sat, you could see really well so any seat was a good seat

Me and my friend were center-balcony near the back so we had a very clear view of the stage (other than there was some tall dude in front of me so it was a bit difficult at times)

We arrived outside the venue at around 6:20 (concert started at 7) and the line to get in already went around a whole block. People were stopping to ask what was going on and apparently it made the Toronto news??

So we get in at around 6:40 and the venue is already more than half full and theyre just playing music videos and everyone was singing along

And when I say everyone was singing along i mean everyone

Honestly I only remember a few of the songs but I they played BoomBoom, Very Nice, Highlight, Healing, and Check In

I have never been happier in my entire life when every single damn person in the venue did Mingyu’s “WhhoAHHH YeaAAHHH’ part. Super. Fucking. Loud

Alright so let me tell you my dudes, It was the biggest adrenaline rush when all the lights went out and you could see the boys run out on stage in the dimness. My heart felt like it stopped.

The lights turn on and I hear Dokyum say “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Diamond Edge” but honestly I wasnt even paying attention bc I was just so blown away

Literally my very first thought upon seeing them was “They’re not real” bc the very first person I looked at was Jeonghan and I thought he was so damn gorgeous he must be fake

He’s literal ethereal. I could go off about how good looking he is. Honestly the true visual of Svt (i swear hes not my bias)

So the very first stage was Pretty U and honestly I dont remember much bc i was too busy freaking out over the fact that I was actually there and they were actually here. I just remember everyone dancing along to Dokyums “Neoneoneoneo” part and all of us doing the “Yeppeuda” part

(they performed Beautiful right after and i really dont remember much of it other than the dance in the chorus [i have such a shit memory its mainly why im making this post before ill forget it all])

So after that they went straight into Adore U (which is my fav svt song although it probably isnt anymore after habits but ill talk about that in a bit)

Oh man if you thought I went off about Jeonghans visuals let me tell you about this mans vocals. They’re so sweet. Sweeter than honey. Jeonghans part in the chorus is my absolute favorite part of the song and it sounds 10000x better live. He just sings it so flawlessly while doing the dance and overall I was just so impressed??

Jihoon also sounded amazing but like let me just take a minute and say every single member sounded fucking perfect and flawless like if you aren’t stanning Seventeen then what are you doing

And the dances were so on point too. I didn’t notice any slip ups or anybody trippin or nothing. Like you’d think they’d show signs of fatigue or being tired bc they did two shows the few days before but they were all so hyped and gave their all in every stage and they genuinely looked like they were enjoying themselves

Anyways back to Adore U

Everyone in the crowd did the “Akkinda” part and I could see Soonyoung smiling so big bc of that like he was really happy bc of it

After Adore U finished they all lined up to do their intros and introduced themselves as a group and then did their individual intros

Most of them just did a casual “Hi I’m ___” but then you had the extra™️ members

Soonyoung got us all to chant something (im not sure what it was exactly I think it was ‘rock the beat’) and then he did his usual “What time is it??” “10 Hour 10 Minute” which honestly made my life i was hoping for him to do that (i love soonyoung sm honestly most of my favorite moments of the concert were bc of him)

Dokyum also did a thing where he got everyone to scream for him

All of their intros were great but none of them were as memorable as Jihoons for me

I know a lot of people were saying ‘He’s not that small in person’, but to me he was so small and cute and I just wanted to go and hug him bc hes so freaking adorable

So Jihoon’s kinda quiet and shy in general, we know that from variety shows and such but I saw it a lot in the concert. Like when other members were talking he just stood quietly with his hands folded and there was this one part where they all ran towards the edge of the stage and gave hearts and Jihoon like covered his face a bit and looked embarrassed 

So anyways he does like this cute little “Hi guys” and I just fucking melted right there. I made an audible “awwwww” sound that my friend was like ???

I love Jihoon so much and I will forever see him as the cute and adorable little smol (boi got a voice tho holy shit)

So they talked a bit more after that about how they walked around Toronto a bit the day before and how they were impressed with the crowd dancing along to Pretty U and Mingyu taught us a little chant where they would say “Seventeen Carat” and we would go ‘clap clap Ehhhhh’ it was weird but cute

So they went straight into Still Lonely from there and I hate my brain for not remembering most of it bc its one of my favorite songs but I just remember Minghao doing Jun’s part in the last chorus and sounding amazing honestly i want an official 13 member version of that song

So after that was Very Nice which was indeed, very nice. Dancing on point. Dino and Vernons rap were amazing and the whole audience did the “Maja” part

Also dont remember much of that stage but I definitely remember the last part bc thats the part where my son, Chan, is in the front. 10/10

Okay so I have 2 favorite performances of the night. One of which was Swimming Fool. I am such a hoe for Performance unit (considering 2 of my biases are in it) so actually every performance of theirs was my fav but Swimming Fool tho. 

That song is one of my favs and I had never seen the dance before so I was basically dying the whole time. Soonyoung’s little wiggle dance and the jumping up and down dance that Chan did. The whole dance was so cute tbh Ive been re-watching that video every day since. (if youve never seen the dance pls watch this. Not my video tho) 

Alright imma talk about Soonyoung for a minute. This boi. Was so hyper the entire concert. He  was doing his usual yelling during songs and was giggling a whole lot, I noticed. (He also dabbed like 20 times and i was like someone pls stop him)

(There was one part where he went and dabbed right in front of Jihoon and i laughed a little harder than i should have)

And I’m honestly so glad that Soonyoung was feeling great the whole time bc apparently at the Chicago(?) show he wasn’t able to perform bc he was sick so we were extremely blessed that all 13 members were well and healthy to perform for us so like thank u jesus for keeping them all safe

(I was lowkey worried about that a lot before the concert bc of when I heard Hyungwon was missing parts of the tour with MX so I was like “Lord pls let it be all 13″)

anywho so all the members went to change outfits and they played a vcr (dont remember what of tho i have such a shit memory)

So yall they did Mansae next and started out with the class chairs and Dokyum was the teacher at the blackboard it was rlly cute!! ^^ And towards the end they repeated the “MansaeMansae” part and got everyone to do the dance it was such a great time

So while the rest of the group was preparing for the next stage(i presume), Chan and Seungcheol came out, just the two of them, with a gopro and said it was the camera for “Going Seventeen” and were filming the crowd and interacting with us a bit. And then they had a dance battle (Which Dino clearly won Seungcheol didnt stand a chance against Michael Chanson)

So then everybody came out and did BoomBoom which was  incredible (every stage was amazing i feel like i shouldnt have to say it) Most of the crowd even did the shirt thing which was really fun. Chan slayed his rap (i love my son)

So after that there was another vcr and the members changed outfits again

Vocal unit came out and sang We Gonna Make It Shine and boys let me say I have never fell in love with someone vocals so much before in my life. Like I’ve always loved Jihoon’s voice bc it was unique and its got a nasally tone to it and I love it, but hearing it in person made me love it 100x more

And for a while I actually thought Jihoon wasn’t singing?? Bc he just sounded so flawless, like exactly like the recording that I thought ‘maybe hes lip singing bc his throat is bad or something’ and I’m hitting myself now for even thinking that bc really Lee Jihoon is just the most amazing vocalist I’ve ever heard Boo Seungkwan who???

So yeah Vocal unit slayed even though I’ll always like the 2014 version of that song with Soonyoung better

As soon as that song ended they went straight into Don’t Listen and omg let me talk about visuals. The stage had this whole setup with a table with some fancy ass candles on it and there was a throne that Joshua was sitting in and the lighting was really eerie and I really don’t listen to that song much but im gonna listen to it every day from now on bc damn

HipHop unit had their turn next where they did some song which I had never heard of before called “On Haeng Il Chi” and it was dope then went into Check In and once again everyone did Mingyus “ohhhhhHHh yeahH” part (glorious I tell you)

Seungcheol was serving looks the whole time bc he was wearing this black suit set and he just looked so good the whole time. Honestly Seungcheol was such a tease the whole concert and i got a look at his thighs at one point and man he thicc

Vernon was also wearing this nice green shirt and I just really liked it for some reason and I wish I had taken more pictures and videos I hate myself for not doing that

AlrIGHT Performance Unit time!!! So leadin up to the concert I thought they were gonna perform “WHO” bc it was a bonus track and I just thought they would perform it for some reason so when they were all standing there ready for the song to start, the amount of confusion on my face when OMG came on… Wasn’t disappointed tho that performance was awesome

Still would like to see a performance of WHO tho I hope they’ll do that next time

And then they did Highlight and me and my friend even switched seats so I could get a better video of it bc I love that song so much. Also leading up to the concert I knew they were going to do this song but I wasn’t sure if they were going to do 13 member version or not but I’m glad it was just the 4 of them

Oh man okay I’m gonna talk about my bias, Chan, for a second. His stage presence in every song is seriously amazing. A main reason why hes my bias is bc im a huge fan of his dancing and his dance style(and he pretty cute) and seeing him perform live was incredible. it was almost overwhelming bc I couldnt believe someone this talented existed and I was watching them in their element 

Like he put his all into the dance while still executing his raps and vocals perfectly. His voice actually does sound a bit different live, like its a bit higher than I expected but he was so on point the whole night why is he such an underrated member

Okay so the members had another outfit change after this and these outfits were straight up sinful. Not to mention the first song they performed in them was equally as sinful so I’m going to on about this performance bc this was the best performance imo. I will never forget it. It’s ingrained into my brain forever

So Crazy In Love starts. Okay so I don’t listen to this song much as far as just listening to it in my free time, but I’d seen the dance before so as soon as I heard the music, I knew we were royally fucked. I wasn’t expecting this song probably bc i forgot it existed but its my new fav song guys this performance ruined me. 

So the lights come on at the very first part and these mofos are wearing tight black skinny pants (which looked like they were leather but they werent) and red silk sparkly shirts that were tucked in. Every single member looked flawless 

(Also didn’t mention this before but all of their hair was styled so well bless the stylists. I normally prefer a more natural color for hair on idols so I was glad the colorful dye had faded and most of them just went with black or brown)

But lord have mercy when the song started. Okay Chan is my bias but I could not stop staring at Soonyoung almost the entire time - minus for Chan’s “talking about love” part (which I remember doing the dance for and screaming while doing so)

Like you get Swimming Fool Soonyoung whos all cute and playful and going “YEEEE HAWW” during the song and then you get Crazy In Love Soonyoung whos all bedroom eyes and sexy glares and just everything about the way he moves is mesmerizing (i swear. Hes NOT my bias)

So getting through the first chorus is hard enough when BOTH my bias and bias wrecker are up in front doing that provocative shit and I was so conflicted on which one to stare at but I ended up staring at Soonyoung the whole time. 

And then in the second chorus when it’s just Jeonghan doing it and both me and my friend screamed so loud ugh the outfits were so perfect for this dance i wanted to D I E

And then it gets to the Part in the song yknow the “Ooohhhhh” part where they spin around and when it was Soonyoungs part to do that by himself. I don’t even have words for how that made me feel. That image is in my mind forever. You know that meme thats like “you ever wonder whats going on in someones head?” well yeah its that for me

okay moving on Ive talked about this enough

My I was right after and I’d never seen the dance to that either and it was really beautiful and cool like idk how to describe it. It was like a very romantic type of dance and Jun and Minghao had such great chemistry on stage together they really blew me away

OKay now imma freak out some more bc Vocal Unit performed Habits. I actually recorded this whole song so I wasn’t really paying attention to what was happening on stage bc they were all just standing there with mic stand anyways. I was enjoying the audio and their lovely vocals. (Again, Jihoon really exceeded my expectations in this song. Like for some members like Dokyum and Seungkwan I know theyre gonna sound great and its not like I didn’t for the rest but I’m just still not over how good EVERYONE sounded)

So I’m enjoying them vocals and the song ends and my friend taps on my arm and points to her face and there are actual tears. This bitch really cried. At the time I was like “during Habits of all songs??” but i was so naive now I understand(I cried 2 days later listening to that song)

Hiphop unit then did If I which I remember 0 of I think I was still too shook from Vocal Unit

I just remember their little hip thrust dance and then immediately after was a ment and Soonyoung was mimicking HH units dance and giggling like an idiot and got the whole crowd to sing and dance to If I

“Ohh Toronto. Dancing good”

Then they were all arguing over which unit’s performance suited Toronto the best but then decided that they all did

And then Soonyoung dabbed

Too many times

Everyone also dabbed with him this group is a M E S S

And then they got Jeonghan to do Aegyo so he spun around and made a heart and said “Toronto I love you!” in the cutest voice possible I swear I’m in love with Jeonghans voice

And then Wonwoo did a cute little dance to which we all chanted ‘Go Wonwoo’ for and then Soonyoung dabbed

again

(It made Jihoon cringe every time)

Then Jeonghan tried to get Seungkwan to sing something and Boo was like ‘moVING ON” but he gave in and sang a bit of Hello by adele which was really nice. Like damn the acoustics in that theater were no joke bc its a theater (i assume) made for plays and stuff and him singing without any track sounded really nice.

And then they asked my boi Chan to dance so he started singing Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and doing the hipthrust dance and Seungkwan ran over like ‘nOO”. But Chan just kept dancing and singing and having a good time and being w i l d  to which Seungcheol cracked up at. He literally fell on the floor laughing

And they kept going on about how this was a totally special stage for Toronto, “only for Toronto”

So then they went on to say they were gonna perform a very “hot” song next and my clueless ass was like ‘Don’t wanna cry?’ but naw it was ROCK which I only recorded part of bc the lighting was bad and my phone sucks

But okay I can just say that Wonwoo’s voice sounds 10x deeper in person. If you thought his rap was really deep in that song, wait until you hear it live. For a long time Wonwoo was my favorite rapper in kpop and I think hes regaining that title he was very good the whole night and I really like his deep voice

and then they did Chuck which was SO AMAZING HOLY CRAP

I love that song sm in the first place but I love it even more now upon seeing and hearing it in person. I recorded a bit of that one too and love it i watch that video like 3 times a day

So then they had another short Ment where they taught us the dance to Chuck and Soonyoung doing the “brrrr” part was so adorable I wanted to die. (I feel like Im talking about Soonyoung a lot but im just so glad he was able to perform in Toronto ilysm)

So then Vernon was like “I actually have some bad new for yall” and all the members were like ‘whaaat??’ and pretending to be shocked

So Vernon goes on: “The next song is actually the last song for the night” and Soonyoung made this fake crying noise and then dabbED LIKE 5 TIMES

That was when he went over to Jihoon and dabbed right in front of him and then was like “Oh my god our last song?”

and then Vernon being the cheeky ass that he is was like “Yeah and I really dont wanna cry about it” and then him and Soonyoung went to the back of the stage to “cry” and all the other members were “crying”

Then Vernon came back and like “I wonder what our next song is tho? Hm????” and im like really bitch

So Soonyoung yelled ‘are you ready’ a few times and then they performed Don’t Wanna Cry which was INCREDIBLE 

They were all in perfect sync like im seriously amazed. These boys probably have to practice day and night to get dances like that. It was amazing

So the boys left the stage for a bit and there was a another vcr which was of all the member explaining what carats were to them and it was really sweet and my friend cried again (she cried like 3 times that night) and I died at Jihoons bc there was this short clip of him and hes just so darn cute

so they came out again and performed Shining Diamond but were wearing casual jeans and half were wearing blue shirts and the other half were wearing pink shirts and Soonyoung looked so good in that outfit bc his shirt was tucked in in the front and his hair was just so great

anyways they all looked like they had fun performing that song and Soonyoung was yelling as usual and there was one part of the dance that was super satisfying bc all the colors of the shirts lined up and it was just really nice to look at. 

And then they performed Healing which we had special banners to hold up during. There was one part I remember bc I couldnt see bc everyone was holding their banners above their heads, but Seungcheol jumped onto Mingyus back and koala hugged him for a good minute and a half and Mingyu kept trying to get him off and Seungcheol just smiled like an idiot and latched on. Eventually he got down and then grabbed his water bottle and dumped half of it onto the people in the front(splash zone)

So once that song ended, Toronto Carats had actually prepared something special for Seventeen. So certain seats had a red board on it that you would hold up after Healing ended but only so many seats had them so it made a message in the crowd and I think it was just 2 hearts and ‘1 7′ and the members looked really surprised like Vernon and Minghao were next to each other and were like :O

Seungcheol and Jeonghan looked really shocked too, overall none of them expected it

So then the goodbye ments came and I was ready to die as soon as they started. They all said the similar kind of thing like “we had a good time we’ll come again soon ect…” 

But Minghao’s was all in english and it was the cutest damn thing i have ever heard in my life. He started out with “Today I am so happy because of our Toronto Carats energy.”

and then says the cutest shit ever: “We are like friends. We look after each other and love each other” He also kept looking over at Vernon to make sure he was saying it right

and then he said something like “we care for each other” and the fkcigingf df went “and everyone, don’t be sick. Always be happy okay?” IN LIKE THE CUTEST WAY POSSIBLE I WANTED TO SCREAM I MEAN I PROBABLY DID BUT STILL

and then I only remember Chan saying something like “We’ll be back soon, and when we are you have to promise that you’ll come to our show” and then Soonyoung and Seungcheol held out their pinkies for us to promise them and I held my pinky bc I damn promise if they come to Toronto again I will be seeing them for sure. Or I’ll try my best anyways

and they all gave us hearts and said they loved us and did a bow and then all had to leave the stage and I almost cried;;

I remember Soonyoung was the last to leave the stage bc he kept waving and saying goodbye

Also I remember a person sticking their hand out one last time and it was kind funny bc I just see this random hand pop out for like a split second. I didn’t know who it was at the time, but I later found out it was Dokyum :3

So yeah, he’s not my bias, but Soonyoung made my night

Anyways. I’m still having post-concert depression. Honestly I don’t think I’ll ever be able to listen to another seventeen song again without crying. All in all, it was one of the best nights of my life and if it wasn’t for my best friend who bought the tickets and surprised me with them and her mom who drove us up the whole long way. Highlight of my summer.

Oh yeah tea, I ended up finding a secret advantage called the deja vote which means I can steal someone’s vote from a tribal and re-use it at a later tribal 

This was originally going to me a vlog of me screaming after tribal but I busy last night and fell asleep before doing it so now I'm more calm and just gonna type out. Okay so looking back at my last confessional, bitch I'm boo boo the fool. I seriously thought Eddie and Autumn were being honest with me because I trust(ed) them sooo much, but it turns out they were playing me and orchestrating a Drew blindside behind my back. So before I went out last night, EVERYONE told me they were voting Matt. Then two minutes before the vote, Eddie and Autumn message me like "JAKE! Are you here??? SOMETHING is happening" like bitch shut the fuck up something is not happening don't act like this shit just happened last minute. Then they say "Drew is getting voted out tonight!" So...I went to Drew and told him to play the idol if he had it. Because I didn't want Matt staying if I was voting for him. But Drew said he didn't have an idol, and Eddie found out that I told Drew and told Autumn. So after I got home I messaged the group chat with Eddie and Autumn and told them that I was upset by them lying to me bc I did trust them the most. Then Autumn decided to get ballsy and reply "I don't buy that at all since you told Drew to play his idol, you were more loyal to him than me." GIRL STFU yes the fuck I did tell Drew because you told me TWO MINS BEFORE TRIBAL - MEANING YOU KEPT THE VOTE HIDDEN FROM ME ALL DAY. DON'T SAY IM DISLOYAL WHEN YOU WERE THE BIGGEST MFING SNAKE THIS ROUND! ...Anyways. Autumn then tries to come for me by saying "So tell, what's with this alliance between you, Eddie, Drew, and Trixie." And this is when I got more mad. BC Drew proposed this alliance to me, but it was never made, hell I didn't even tell Trixie about it. And when I told Eddie about it I told him I think we should tell Autumn about the alliance (Since he wanted to as well) So it became clear that Autumn was spreading to rebecka and matt that I was in an actual alliance with them to get them all to turn on us. So um Autumn, I wanted to trust you and go far with you in this game, but you're dead to me in this game now and I want you GONE. Autumn has the most connections here. She has Eddie, Rebecka, Matt, Ben, and I've heard that she has Mitch as well. She is a huge threat and if I can find a way to take her out, I will. But right now I need to focus on surviving. After the vote, Trixie added me to a call with Julia. Julia told us all of the alliances she's in (and she's in a damn lot) and said she basically likes Trixie more so she's working with us. Umm okay that's cool. I hope she's being serious because my life in this game is in Julia's hands now. She has all these connections and I need to get her to gun for someone that isn't me, Trixie, or Shoib. I've decided that my ideal final 3 would be with Trixie and Shoib because I trust them the most now, we've been together since day one, and we're all fans. It would be perfect. Sooo yeah. I also talked to Heather and basically blamed Tyler for all the animosity between us. I am trying to repair relationships and hopefully push the target off my back because I am worried about being targeted for 12th. IDK WHAT ELSE TO DO! I am in SUCH a bad position right now and it's so annoying. At the start of this game I had a lot of allies and the two people who trusted me the most (Tyler and Drew) are gone. But I'm a FIGHTER. I will NOT give up! I was in the minority at merge in crossroads and turned it around and made it to FTC so I just have to keep pushing and hopefully I'll get the same results! Woo wig! Good god am I glad I'm immune for this bullshit Let's start with merge. Woo merge! The idol system is announced. I actually make progress on the advantage hunt! Then I finish it. And someone already has it. GREAT So then I try the idol hunt and someone ALSO has it! GREATER. So now I have to worry about that shit. So I won immunity somehow because I guess preparing was a good idea since I blew through the second round. I won't be first merge boot in Athena woo!!! But now the vote is fucking crazy. I want to vote out Heather because, as sweet as she is, she's got a lot of ears listening for info for her and it's better to get someone like that out early before it's too late. Ok sooooo somehow I survived FOUR tribals? Yall know I never speak to anyone in game and just rely on comp wins usually so this is WILD. Actually having to speak to people is fucking lonnnnggggg and they get so aggy when ya don’t reply instantly? But anyway I somehow survived my first tribe, defo helped that I made up with Chloe and already knew dan/Asya/trace. I’m SO SAD that trace is gone but the ladies weren’t having it and I’m not sticking my neck out trying to look like a fool rn to save someone.

Also I was in an alliance with Chloe/raffy/Asya and John that we made when Chloe and I decided to rally the votes to get Nic out. And that rlly helped me not be 3rd/4th boot so I guess bejng nice to chloe pays off!! I’m pretty sure dan thinks he’s the one that did the dirty work for nic to go but Chloe and I got those votes going way before he thought about soooo MWAH

What is this hot mess I’m living in WHAT! I’m glad that the royals out number the rebels but I really like John, it would be nice to have a side deal with him or something!  I was ready for some excitement to happen in this game to mix it up a bit but STILL

Okay SO we just got a tribe swap and lowkey it’s best case scenario! The rebels got completely swap fucked and one is even exiled at the moment. On my tribe I have Linus and Glo from Royals and Dan and Asya from the Rebels! I’m reallly close with Linus and I’m decently close with Glo Glo so I trust them to hopefully not flip on me! Also I love the 2 rebels we got on our tribe JUST because I know I’m going to have to split up Dan/Amanda/Asya at some point and now that 2/3 of them are I can just use the excuse of “we’re just trying to stay Royal strong! We had no other choice!” Right now we have a reward challenge going on and highkey I’m not even going to try for it. I think even giving Dan and Asya the chance to find an idol is not what I need in my life. I want a clean voteout. However there is a chance that they already have an idol from their old tribe so in the case we go to tribal then I’d have to play it smart. I have an old friendship with Dan but I think it’d be easier to vote him out. Asya sucks at challenges so if we go to tribal then I’ll just play up “challenge strong!! Let’s get out Asya!!!” to Dan. And then me, Linus, and Glo will vote out Dan. This is all best case scenario since I don’t even know if I can trust Glo Glo that much so I have to be on the lookout for her.

I'm gonna go scroll through tinder and get some validation from random men for the fact that I'm back at tribal again.

So we swapped!!! And I got Amanda, Seamus, Anabel with me still and got to meet a new person, Chloe! I feel great first of all because tribe lines could come into a factor and if they do I'm good for a vote. And even better because my final two miss Amanda is with me. Also I love Seamus. I know a lot of people said they're close with him but I think he's funny and I wanna work with him a lot in this game. Amanda and I are called the psychos!!!! LMAO oh we're sweet but a PSYCHO. Also Seamus and I did so bad in jeopardy LMFAO but I had so much fun. But I hate that we lost because Chloe has had the WORST cards dealt to her. Seamus basically was saying goodbye chloe in my pms as we were losing the challenge. asdfgh I really like Chloe too I would rather vote out like over half the cast before her but like... I'm a little sheep I wanna follow someone for this vote.

This is going to be a long one because I haven't confessed since Trace was voted out. Going back to Trace's tribal council, he couldn't have convinced me to vote Chloe or Dan out. Everyone besides Trace was part of my alliance, so I am glad we got split up because that means that we don't have to kill each other. However, I will miss Trace because he is a great guy, and he was good at the challenges which would be sorely missed if he was going to end up on a tribe with me. This swap is not cute. On no tribe do Rebels have majority. Meanwhile, I'm over here in exile acting like Boo Boo the Fool. I guarantee that any tribe that goes to tribal will send a Rebel home. It sucks. We're just going to get picked off one by one by these stupid Royals and there is nothing we can do about it. We have no idol, and therefore no hope. Luckily, I did get to search the reward grid, but I doubt I'd be able to find anything there either. Even with the help of John and Chloe, I couldn't find the Manahune idol so what makes me think I'll find this one? I'm just frustrated that there's nothing I can do to help my allies and my game. It's all going to shambles at this point. The one thing I can do is try to make merge. Hopefully, by then, the Royals will turn on each other. Chloe is going to die. She's alone on a tribe with 4 Royals. I doubt they would flip on themselves this early in the game. I mean, they SHOULD be going after Anabel since she literally won last season, but I heavily doubt that's going to happen. It's not this community's style. I just hope that someone isn't talking or socializing making them an outcast. I want THAT person to go. Plus, if I end up on a tribe with Chloe, we could make something work, but if Chloe goes then I'll be the one Rebel against 4 Royals. I'm sick of it. I'm dreading going into this new tribe with merge so far away. Survivor Gods, please bless me tonight.

we're really coming to chloes tribe to vote her tf out huh. apparently she wants to make a threesome with seamus/ana and vote one of me or AMANDA out. so we could be in danger if there's an idol. even if it's fake it's finally a good reason to vote off chloe for sure
