spideypool is like that one couple you know that act like theyre in their 80s and have been married basically forever even though they met five years ago.

like theyll be in the grocery store arguing over what kind of bread they should get but its more of a debate than an argument if that makes sense? but its also kind of an argument, and they both know theyre just gonna end up getting the same kind of bread they always do (probably cracked wheat but im not an expert on bread) and also they both know each others coffee orders better than their own.

i bet they would share a bottle of dr pepper while watching that one youtube video where the guy watched every barbie movie to find out which one was the best, but they drink the dr pepper out of wine galsses and talk about completely unrelated things the whole time. btw i dont care if this is inaccurate i just need to put thoughts about them out into the world they cant stay in my head

Unbelievably uncoordinated (besides playing soccer and running for her life) Robin was actually great at skipping rocks. Even better at finding the best ones to skip. She knew just how to spot and hold the good stones, where to place them in her palm. How to flick her wrist, how to be fast.

She started inviting Steve to her favorite side of the lake after they’d settled they were more than workplace/survived-torture-and-monsters-together friends, late August heat plastering her bangs and painting Steve pink. He always seemed to glow in the sun, the same sparkle she knew drew everyone to him in school.

Steve was still recovering from Starcourt - they both were - and his chest would tighten up after bending down, still bruised and sore, so he would mostly drive them there and soak it all in; her chatter as she searched for the right rock, jokes about Mrs. Click and Tammy, her nightmares about the guards and the laser beam and the dripping flesh beast they’d barely escaped. He chimed in from time to time, adding how Tammy’s cousin Maryanne was a bad kisser, told her about the time Mrs. Davis wouldn’t let him into class when he was late, late because Tommy and Carol had had a fight and almost burned his house down the night before. But he mostly listened, striped shirt riding up his mole-covered belly, and smiled at her as she skipped stones hour after hour.

Arm tired, they’d get milkshakes and he’d drop her off. Waving goodbye to Steve, she always thought the same things: that she was lucky to be alive. That it felt good to ripple some surface of this godforsaken place, especially with a friend. That she really did know how to pick ‘em.

i tend to think hunted would find broken's actions and motivations in the tower more understandable than most others because, in his own way, he WAS just trying to protect everyone else - just that to him, that meant putting his head down and doing whatever the Literal Goddess asked of him because a little bit of pain now is better than a Lot of pain later by trying to defy her. i figure hunted, who is for survival no matter what and no matter how you go about it (to the point of being cautiously optimistic when you suggest playing dead against the beast), would probably sympathize with that, at least a little

oplita - obviously lol. I haven't gotten to Elita's episodes in the 80s cartoon yet, so I have no particular feelings about them yet, but they are the classic couple.

wheelratch - something compelling about an eccentric inventor who gives his life to his craft (read: routinely blows himself up in the pursuit of innovation) and the guy who puts him back together every time. I haven't looked into this ship too much, so they're probably sillier than that read, but yeah. They have TOS Bones and Scotty vibes to me: the Autobot miracle workers.

jazzwave - music bots!! I love these two in @/bloominglegumes art and Deal with the Devil by SatelliteSoundwave.

megabird - ooh Megatron and Nightbird, right? Okay, I haven't watched that episode all the way through yet (I just watched enough to find Starscream's "YOU CAN'T KEEP ME IN HERE MEGATRON AAAAA" so I could make it my ringtone lol), so I'll have to chat with you about them once I do.

skystar - MY ROMAN EMPIRE!! I love SkyStar so much. They make me so happy. and sad. and a lot of other emotions, honestly. They're everything to me.

skywarp x moonracer - MoonWarp! I have,,, a tf wiki summary's worth of knowledge about Moonracer, but I LOVE Skywarp, and @/vivkaart's art of them is adorable. This pairing intrigues me, and you should tell me everything about it.

(youtube clickbait video essay voice) daniel ricciardo situation is actually crazy . massively popular redbull driver controversially leaves one of the top teams in the sport to pursue other ‘up and coming’ teams under (allegedly) very big bucks contracts in search of better wdc opportunities/number 1 driver role yet dips each time after a scrappy year or two including a brief stint at mclaren that was so bad that when he got scooped back up by redbull the team boss laments how much they had to rebuild poor daniel back up to be the driver they just know he is so they shunt him in the sister alpha tauri team which is performing like an absolute dog but carefully include daniel in redbull pr/marketing events to capitalise on his popularity and stir some unrest on the current redbull 2nd driver side of the garage by fuelling rumour of seat swap that of course never happens and instead cultivates in daniels last meaningful impact in a championship to be to pitting from last for fastest lap to take one point off of mclaren who have done a complete 180 and are now mounting a serious threat to redbulls championships and then daniel gets dropped mid season by alpha tauri/red bull for a rookie driver and loses his seat entirely with as little fanfare as possible . red bull drivers invented being doomed by the narrative the rest of us just borrow the concept from time to time
