I'm shaking Dani so hard rn. MY BOY, I'M SO SORRY. It's so very confusing for him, I'm sure. (Also record scratch Part 2 ‼️ I'm so hyped) But I'm so sorry for laughing just a tiny bit at Dani's pov simply because of how harsh the whiplash would be. Like, "Wow, I'm gonna get eaten out alright, nvm, okay, let's veer for a blowjob- THAT'S NOT A BLOWJOB" The concept is so silly in a this is also a serious topic way. Also, the idea that Dani is frustrated cause Jorge is taking his sweet sweet time and Dani then trying so desperately to speed things up and it goes the opposite direction (ofc I'm ignoring the topic of feeding off of someone is such an intimate idea that yeah...but that doesn't apply AS much here).

Also, yes, the hunger thing. Obviously, I mentioned it a bit before with the double entendre but I see it should be looked at a deeper level cause yes, real hunger and sexual hunger are two very different things, and I simply can't imagine how Dani felt in that moment cause yes as you mentioned, why does he look THAT hungry. Again, with the prey thing, Dani enjoys it to a point, but also, the wtf aspect is so so very much there. Like...the thought isn't even gonna cross his mind. All Dani is gonna possibly think is just why, why, why, and the logical excuses he can come up with, and all of them are nowhere near close enough because he simply doesn't have the context or knowledge needed to get there. I think even if he did know vampires existed, there would be the trust aspect of it all again cause Dani, in his eyes, can't see why Jorge would think he'd take it wrong. Cause Dani loves him entirely and completely, so ofc he'd take the vampire thing as well as he can cause it's Jorge. But Jorge obviously wouldn't think that way cause ofc stuff like that isn't gonna go well. Projected vampire guilt, dare I say, cause he hates it. Why would anyone else feel differently?

I'm gonna scream, the idea of Jorge putting SOOO much effort into making sure Dani is safe when drinking from him is AHHHH WTF RAY THAT'S CUTE. That's a level of devotion and adoration I can only dream of reaching. I can't imagine many vampires going to such lengths to ensure the safety of their partners. They'd rather not drink from them at all to avoid the risk or simply not care (but that's just me and knowing the inherent...aspect of selfishness that can follow a vampire....the inverse of the guilty, the selfish).

I'm back to my screaming about Dani portion of my yapping. It's so very extreme of me to say Dani was choosing between life and death cause he wasn't but he could have been... (Jorge we know you would literally never but I'm so dramatic) and that's such an actual insane level of trust...DANI YOU LOVE THAT MAN SO MUCH I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE 🫵🏻

Oh I so agree. The switch from prey (sexual) to prey (food) would be WILD. Biggest wtf moment. And imagine Dani is trying to understand it. Because obviously there was a switch in Jorge in that moment. Cause he wouldn't just jump from one to the other. So there was a point or something that caused the switch. (Dani saying all the 2 meaning food/sex things) And it's Dani so he also wants to understand what was going on with in that moment. Like when he was drinking has blood. Dani wants to understand why Jorge couldn't keep his need to drink blood pushed down. Like... Did he not had enough before? Does he need more? Is it a general problem? Was there something triggering his hunger? And of course he wants to UNDERSTAND the hunger. Because he as a human has no idea what it's like to be hungry like that and to have the hunting need and the blood lust and all that. (Okay Jorge would definitely get insecure if he has to describe that, unless he describes it DURING a blood lust and gets some blood afterwards. As a little treat. Hihi. OH. Jorge fake hunting Dani when they agreed Jorge can drink from him. Like Dani being chased around their house only to be grabbed by Jorge and thrown on the bed/ against a wall and drink from him. Yep. I can definitely see something like that.) And ooooh. Dani not understanding why he would think of Jorge any different. MY HEART. MYYYY HEEAAAAART. And Jorge being all like "I'm a monster and you are-" And then Dani is already on him, cuddling.

OOOH. THE SELFISHNESS OF OTHER. Okay what if Jorge knows other vampire that have human partners who have hurt them like seriously? Liek full on faint, hospital, blood transfusion or even worst? And that's why Jorge never wanted to drink from Dani and now doing it without telling/ asking Dani - oh heartbreak. THE GUILT. THE GUILT. And Jorge being all worried and apologetic. Meanwhile Dani trying to calm him and Jorge is like "Fuck... Dani, don't you get it, I could have killed you!" "And I trusted you that you don't. I trust you with my life. Literally." Dani is REALLY down bad for that man.

I think the self view as a monster and guilt thing from Jorge and the need to understand it fully to make sure Jorge is okay from Dani would be the next big points.

i was vod watching the day lukey got killed by pangi, and like pangi went to talk to pili about it after, right? well, i watched ros' pov for that, and after green left, sneeg came down and started talking with pili, and pili said something like 'i was afraid they came to kill me' and 'pangi wanted to talk in his house'.

which first of all, he actually said aimsey's house. 😭 i don't know if pili was being misleading on purpose or genuinely remembered wrong or i missed something in the vod, but that was an interesting detail.

second of all, wow! pangi is actually so suspicious in other povs. 😭😭😭 which, you know, it's understandable! i just find it really funny, because from our povs (the pangi viewers), this guy refuses to lock in his villain arc which he has teased about for months, and every new (actually) deadly weapon? he hasn't locked in for those either. 😭 as of yesterday, he did make some progress for the [redacted 1] strat and bad pulled through with the enchanting lvl 100, so we got the [redacted 2] ready too! but like, these weapons were in the waiting list for like, some time now. 😭 and he's also a big fan of doing silly bits with violence, and he makes it very obvious to us.

so i guess what i'm trying to say is that he's so not threatening in his pov, but other people see his silly violent bits (that dare i connect to lifesteal and how violence is so much more easy to come by there) like pointing a gun at lukey, or giving his condolences to pili about killing lukey, as something life-threatening; that it's a funny whiplash for the viewers (aka me lol).

People tend to focus so heavily on Vash being an otherworldly being with his plant nature and powers that you forget that he’s a human being too.

It’s a realization I’ve also had in relation to my upbringing with Catholic school (I swear it’s relevant if you understand the religious aspects of Trigun lmao). As far back as I can remember, my teachers always focused on the teachings of Jesus and how he was the son of God, but there was little discussion on who he was as a person.

On a related tangent, I remember finding a reblog by WolfytheWitch where a person asked “do you guys think jesus, the son of a carpenter, smelt the wood of the cross & temporarily thought of home”

Then they went on to talk about how the church strays away from humanizing Jesus, and it made me realize why everything in my religion classes never truly stuck in my head. If teachers went more into how he was human I probably would have enjoyed Catholic school a little more. But it was always more about preaching how to be good in a way that felt so superficial and forced.

Prefect Luna(or just regular ramshackle student, she doesn’t care for positions of leadership in multi-yuu-niverses)!

The woman who was so calm, regal, and cold(although slightly frazzled, it seemed) at the entrance ceremony. Yeah, most people wouldn’t be able to compare that to how she acts now.

Luna comes from Lumaria! Where the fuck is that? Who fucking knows! All people know is it’s an entirely different world.

Luna’s known for her loud and playful personality, crude remarks and always being seen with a smile. She’s known to either sleep in “boring”(mathematics, history, etc.) classes, while she’s far ahead of the curve in the rest(flight, alchemy, etc.)!

Coming from a different world results in Luna being an entirely different race, either entirely different magical capabilities.

✨She was a fairy✨

Literally. Luna is a fairy(which is different to the fae of this world)! This is made quite obvious from her glittery skin(no, not like on twilight, I’ll kill you) and the moon and star markings on her face(and body, although those are hidden under her clothes). Her wings? You do know asking a fairy to show you their wings is the equivalent of asking a woman to flash you her boobs?

Luna has domain over both nature and the stars. She can control plants and space magic things(wow anime sfx). Although she can’t control animals, they have a natural liking to her!

Fairies don’t have blot, so what’s their drawback? It’s different for everyone! For Luna, it’s both the nature of her spells and her emotions. Her combat magic can be very volatile(especially because she never got to practice it as a child), which often results in her burning herself(or that one time she got frost bite…). On the other hand, experiencing intense emotions causes the plants around to react. In moments of intense positive emotions, flowers bloom(or when directed at a person, flowers will bloom underneath their feet), while on the opposite end, when experiencing intense negative emotions, they wilt and wither. Luna doesn’t commonly experience anger, but when she does, it results in an inability to control her powers, which results in a LOT of overgrowth.

Although she’s quite powerful, she’s dumb. She has street smarts, and that’s it. She relies on the smarter people to tell her what to do!

Back to the subject of her classes— despite have an entirely different magic, she does quite well in magic classes! She’s managed to kick quite a few asses in sparring class ;).

She’s also able to manipulate wind, hence why she can participate in flight class.

I’ll provide a short summary for her friends! She has no family(L bozo orphan).

Grim

Luna fucking hates that cat, always dragging her into trouble!! But… Sevens, she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t attached. Grim’s the closest thing to family she’s ever had. He might be an asshole, but he does comfort her(albeit poorly) during nightmares, so she won’t object to being his hench-fairy.

“Today’s a nice day to relax. The sun is shining, the— … Sevens dammit, Grim did you piss off Housewarden Rosehearts again?!”

Ace

KYS. Luna hates this motherfucker. She “bullies” him every chance she gets. No, she wouldn’t die for him! They’re not friends at all!! This guy is always dragging her into trouble and he’s a complete asshole and—

Deuce

Better than Ace! Deuce is one of the few people who knew at first glance not to fuck around and find out(mama raised him right!!✊✊✊). They have a mutual respect for one another(even if Deuce is dragged into fights by Luna). They share a braincell, they’re both dumbasses!!!!

Kalim

The girl needs the sunshine in her life. Her and Kalim are besties!!! He knows how to go about life! Who has time to be pessimistic when life is so short? Hell yeah let’s party all day— wait, how many people are going to be there…?

Epel

Apple boy!!! They share a lot of interests! Luna worked as a farmer for a short time as a child(Epel was horrified to learn of her working conditions). She absolutely detests how Vil tells him to act like someone he’s not(even if Vil has REALLY good fashion advice…), and she can relate to being underestimated due to her looks(although Luna is happy to use that to her advantage). And she snatches apples at every chance she gets.

“Apples? Nope, haven’t seen ‘em. Grim might’ve taken them, the little rascal— hey, i told you fairies can’t lie! I’m telling the truth, I’m an absolute angel! I wouldn’t steal! Those myths about fae being tricksters are LIES.”

Idia

These two didn’t even meet at school at first. They met on fucking pokemon go. there was a raid during school and they were the only two losers playing. Then they became friends online, and one day othro’s just like🧍‍♂️”brother do you seriously not recognize that first year’s voice?”

TLDR: Luna's an orphan, left in the Lumarian slums, eventually adopted into a noble family, and then killed for being a fairy, then isekai'd.

THE LONG VERSION--

Luna's home world is one where the magical and mythical are hunted. Fae, werewolves, witches, the like.

Being a fairy, she wasn't taken to kindly(ive been watching too much south park...). Her earliest memories are being called 'pointy', or dodging rocks. The only positive memory of her childhood was when she learned how to glamour herself to look like a human, resulting in no more prejudice(yippee!!!)!

Luna spent all her time five years old and up hiding herself. acting as normal as possible, as to not draw suspicion. eventually, the poor girl managed to get adopted into nobility for her "looks"(glamour) at fifteen. The green eyed auburn haired girl was a beauty, after all!

She took to learning how to be a lady well, and at fifteen, she had her debutante ball! Alas-- Luna was known as beautiful, but cruel. She'd laugh at those lower than her, taking every opportunity to torment others. After all, these people don't know how lucky they have it. This is the one thing she really CAN do. Repressing herself has left the girl bitter, after all.

Eventually, baby Luna gets an engagement to a fairy hunter. Ironic, no? She's not very excited for it, but it'll help keep up the ruse.

... until when she's seventeen, she's outed at a ball.

Luna had been working on a gown for many a months, and wore it to that ball. And then someone spilled a drink on her. The result was a VERY pissed off fairy. Luckily for them, there was a fairy hunter nearby!

The last thing she remembers was staring down an iron crossbow bolt.

She was on guard the entirety of the entrance ceremony, keeping herself distant and as small as possible, because a girl like her is capable of no harm! Once she realizes this is an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT WORLD, that the people here don't hunt her kind-- everything is off.

The loud, playful girl beneath comes out to play on the first day(the swap terrified Grim) of school, and the rest is canon :D.

at first, Luna DETESTS this man. rules are dumb as shit, all they do is keep you stifled and bitter and life is too short for them! she almost went APE SHIT when he talked bad about her parents. Ace got to him before she could LMAOOOOO

upon his overblot and the (adorable, SHHHS IDK I JUST LIKE MEN CRYING SHUT UP) crying afterwards... "Wow, we're really not too different."

Throughout post book one to pre book three she even cozies up to the rose boy <3. they have a shared appreciation for hedgehogs, and ✨TRAUMA BOND✨. Their situations aren't too far apart in some ways. and blah blah blah they make a dorky little promise to both improve the other. Luna will follow SOME rules(some of them are still stupid), and Riddle will loosen up a LITTLE. they're both working on it!

and if in around book five she starts following behind the redhead like a dopey little follower with hearts in her eyes? youre crazy. absolutely crazy. (luna doesnt even know what love is, she would be FUCKKKKKEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.)

that STUPID FUCKING OCTOPUS. here Luna is, happy she managed to pass the midterms(she might have begged a certain redhead for help)(actually she just helped take care of hedgehogs and the rose garden), and now she has to deal with the three BOZOS making a deal with this random dude??? Luna is so annoyed.

With some begging on adeuce and grim's part(you know puss in boots puppy dog eyes? grim learned to replicate it)(ace taught him after he found out about her soft spot for animals), she reluctantly agreed to help them get it sorted out.

This mornings mood is looking at Calien and rotating him around in my mind with force. He's a good Crow and a decent-ish/okay person but he's a good Crow FIRST. Idk what my point was anymore but I love that he seems so normal at first and the more you get to know him the clearer it becomes that he's absolutely cracked in the head. (The Harding experience must be crazy. They're close friends and get along great! He also almost stabbed her 1 day into knowing each other bc she woke him up at night and he sleeps with a knife in hand. This is normal, apparently.) His stories are fun and exciting (if you can excuse the puns) but half the things he says are incomprehensible at best and leave you rattled at worst bc what the fuck did he mean by that. He's friendly and seems happy to be here half the time then he'll drop comments about traumatic things and never elaborate. His grip on genuine emotions is questionable at best. He both values life and thinks that killing people is the most natural thing ever. He respects and embodies most crow values but he's too reckless and respects his bosses too little. (Half the talons love him and half want him dead with interest.) Never let him in the kitchen, his cooking could be considered House de Riva level of poisonous. Except hot chocolate. He's a minor fire hazard. And when you think you've heard it all, he honestly believes that death is a reasonable punishment for failing at his job even once.
