there's something about the way buck opens the door to let tommy in and then immediately goes into the kitchen under the guise of getting a beer when what he actually does (consciously or not) is using the kitchen island as a barrier between him and tommy. because he doesn't know why tommy is there but he has, as far as he knows, already been rejected by him several times so he wants to protect himself from that happening again. but then tommy tells him that there's no way he can ever replace buck's place in eddie's or christopher's lives and what does buck do? he almost immediately relaxes and moves away from behind the kitchen island and into the same space as tommy, open and curious, inching closer and closer with every word they exchange because this clearly isn't a rejection and tommy is giving buck his full attention and buck can't help himself from giving into that gravitational pull nor does he want to

we've all seen the jokes about Raphael and clonefucking but what if we talk about Raphael and Clone. welcome to my TED talk, here's how Raphael can still win-

(don't take it TOO seriously, i'm just offering some info/lore/mechanics and whatnot from d&d that could be interesting to consider, for fics or headcanons or whatever else this might be useful for lol)

anyway onto the post. so while idk if 5e has anything particularly specific or definitive about this (knowing 5e probably not, though I haven't read descent into avernus so idk if they have more fiend lore in there) going off 3.5e cambions are just defined as another name for half-fiends, which the MM says are typically outsiders with the native subtype - meaning they can be "raised, reincarnated, or resurrected just as other living creatures can be". huzzah, this means they have souls (imo). presuming the same holds true for cambions in 5e, since 5e also just defines them as the offspring of a fiend and a humanoid, i don't see why Clone wouldn't be an option for Raphael. it's only 8th level (surely there's a few 15th level wizards out there), the material component cost is only 3000gp (for a diamond and a container for the clone), and once the clone matures it "endures indefinitely" as long as the container does; when the creature dies its soul transfers to the clone with all its memories, abilities, and personality (but none of its gear, so we still snatch his diary) + the body's physical remains don't disappear if they aren't destroyed, so the orb vision we got about Meph munchies still tracks

the only potential issue is that in order to transfer to the clone, the soul of the creature must be "free and willing to return", but idk why anyone would have a claim on Raphael's soul to prevent it from returning. since he clearly deals in other people's souls a lot, he would probably be pretty careful about not letting anyone else get their hands on his! (plus he makes a point of saying he's a devil not a cambion when talking about himself, he wants to act like he doesn't have one at least 😂)

Clone lets you make the clone look like a younger version of the creature as well (nooo dont make your clone look like a younger version of yourself Raphael you're so sexy ahah)

I forgot to add webspinners to that Mysterio kissing ask, so here it is:

Webspinners!Mysterio: This man is confirmed to have needed his helmet to give him the confidence to call up his crush in the comic. This man is a quiet and bashful, hopeless romantic at heart. But in costume, he can get a bit carried away and excited. He'll need some real backbone of a partner to reign that side of him in. (Knock him back to reality)

In costume, he's dipping his partner for a kiss. The type of kiss varies, as does the intensity of the dip, but if he's feeling particularly bold, he'll go for tongue and a deep dip. If he's out of costume, he may simply prefer to hold the back of the neck/head and waist to give a short yet passionate kiss in a boost of confidence. Usually, out of costume, he'll prefer to just cup a hand on the cheek and give a chaste kiss.

However, this is all post-Webspinners. The man is 32, and he's never been kissed before the comic's storyline (bless him). He wouldn't be a very experienced kisser. He'd likely be experimenting and trying to figure it out. But I imagine he'd be a relatively fast learner. He lives to please and impress, and he's determined to do just that.. if he could simply step outside his head for a moment. Lol

There's a lot to say about this one. But this is all I have to offer on this guy.

Five’s palm is just over his shirt and he could feel the warmth emanating from their hand, a crescendo of his own heart thumping in his ears. The runner looked as if they had a lot in their mind, even glancing up at Sam and giving him a window into the darkest depths of their entire being, silently daring him to keep going on this route just so they could keep him around.

“…Five?” He mutters slowly, his cheeks turning into a shade of red from the sudden contact. It was indirect, sure, but Five never reached out to touch him before. Hell, they haven’t willingly reached out for anybody. He can’t help but feel curious and troubled about the look on their face, about how it seemed as if they badly wanted to speak…

Every beat of the flesh under their palm turns into a pattern of music into Five’s mind. It feels like a song, except it’s the only type that would soothe their nightmares.

You're still here, and you're beautiful to me. Takes place post-canon. Benrey respawns after Xen, and none of his injuries are healed. He then finds Gordon, who helps to take care of his injuries. I personally consider this one of my best works. There's things I'd change now, of course, but I still love it a lot. Read the content warnings.

as long as your heart continues to beat. Takes place during canon. Benrey's listening to Gordon's heartbeat after the betrayal. And then it stops. This one isn't beta read and I wrote it in like, a few hours on the fly, so it's not my best, but I like it.

Cuddles are the best cure for depression actually. Takes place post-canon. This is exactly what it says on the tin. Benrey's got depression and can't get out of bed, Gordon cuddles him. Short but sweet.

If ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep. Takes place post-canon. Gordon and Benrey are kinda in a relationship, and Benrey gets a package at the door that he's not letting Gordon see. In the middle of the night, Gordon gets to see what it is. This one's REALLY cute, and I really love it. It's fluffy and it's sweet.

all for the love of you. Saying this straight-up, READ THE CONTENT WARNINGS. Takes place post-canon. Tommy finds a... note from Benrey that he wrote before Xen. I have more complicated feelings towards this fic, I don't personally like it as much in retrospect and think I could've done much better on it, but I'm putting it here since it is still one of my fics. Read the content warnings, for the love of god.

Benrey gets drunk fic. Takes place post-canon. This is just a fluff fic I wrote for the third HLVRAI anniversary where Benrey's drunk and flirting with a very sober and very gay Gordon, who does not know how to cope with this.

I created a universe.

In my head, I created one, it’s big, it gets bigger everyday. I’ve been building it since I was just a little kid. It’s so big I sometimes wonder if it’s possible for a human brain to remember so much. All the stories follow certain rules, and they all happen within the same universe, on their planet(s) in their part of the timeline and they affect future stories.

I know it’s a problem, it’s called maladaptive daydreaming. But I’ve based my hobbies, my passions and my future life goals on it. It’s the best thing I’ve ever made and I don’t want it gone.

I want to find other people just like me, that would like to talk about their universe with me. I want to share my my stories with other people. I want to find people who think like me, cuz I know there is.
