A glamour is a magic spell that changes/cover your appearance. Like in the show macaque should technically have 6 ears. for animation purposi I guess they are not drawing all of them, but we say he uses a glamour also for covering his scarred eye.

mmmmmm---- I think Wukong. Freenoodle is pretty chill with the DBK family after everything that happened. Mac is also quite alright since he was always in good relationship with them. I would say Wukong would just want to be sure his kid doesn't get hurt by the fire in any way

So the thing is that MK is hearing the past from both POVs. Macaque by definition can hear ANYTHING so yeah he could definitely experience MKs memories. But the thing is-does he want to? I headcanon that his future-present-past hearing abilities are something he only used a couple of times, and because what he heard from them was so traumatic, he decided to NOT use them again (like wukong laser eyes)

So- *sigh* technically, we don't really know MK immortality status. it's a grey area for now. Because on one side, he's a stone monkey, who, by nature like Wukong, can perfectly age and grow like a normal monkey. On the other hand, he's technically died already, and by the time he was created by Nuwa, both his biological fathers were already immortal (Wukong bc yes, Macaque because he's a demon, and he can die from wounds and illness, but can't age)

So to answer: we don't know yet what's with him. we will see (I promise that)

MK can't make the same clones macaque has. He can control a little bit his own shadow, and use that as a clone. so as long as it's his own shadow, it's more Mac area, if it's his own hair clone then it's Wukong's

Yes they know about them. No they aren't his kids let's say. My own personal headcanon for the Au (or the show in general) is that they are both Macaque shadow, like- clones with a little bit of personality just like MK clones represent specific parts of his personality. He has 2 of them because he lived 2 lives, one before and one after he was brought back to life.

Aaahh I’ve seen a lot of asks asking this one but honestly I don t know If I’ll ever draw that trope. Maybe bc Wukong should technically have canonically too much knowledge about general illness to be worried about normal daily life illness. If it was something more life-threating. Funnily, since the baby MK incident I imagine this later on becoming a somewhat spark of many funny arguments later on. The need for them to remain close by and wait until Mk is asleep before trying to leave. This means Mac has been through exactly what he is telling them not to do and knows the pain, sorrow and trauma that comes from feeling abandoned like this. They may be facing their past hurting their own kid through proxy and try to help him fight against the trauma. Summary: Steven always enjoys your drawings and art, big or small, painting or simple sketch and doodle. But he's a bit surprised when he discovers that you have a habit of drawing a certain muse that you have. 

Warnings: There's nothing that I can actually thing of other than it's mentioned that the reader draws Steven when he's unaware, but I don't think it's that bad. Also 'Y/n' is used once. 

Author’s Snip: This was meant to be just a little blurb but I got the writing equivalent of zoomies. You asked for a cookie and I made you a cake with layers, frosting, and toppings. This is insane how did I do this. I think it's because I've been drinking a monster while writing this. I have paused the video that I was previously watching in the background because I am so focused. I'm not even joking this shit is 1517 words long and that is before I proof and grammar checked it. I think this might be the longest writing I've done thus far. Enjoy your free cake, anon.

Steven always knew you drew. You met at your jobs at the museum, at the time, you were working the front desk while he of course worked at the gift shop. The two of you weren't all too familiar with each other since you only saw each other in passing. You knew him as Steven from the gift shop, and he knew you as Y/N from the front desk. You did learn more details through others. Steven was a chatty guy who had an impressive knowledge about Egyptology and mythos. And you were the person at the front desk who did nothing but sit there and draw all day when not granting visitors entry, or in most cases, taking a second to scan a preprinted ticket and check the schedule.

Steven heard talk that you were really talented in your art. You were able to draw what were basically pictures of things you saw or even made up. He hadn't seen your actual art till one day he found you sat where he usually did for lunch, drawing the statue man that he talked at everyday. And wow, were they right about how well you could draw. Though while you talked to each other you laughed "Well of course I'm able to draw him perfectly. He doesn't move.".

That lunch break was a long time ago. You two started dating between then and now. Steven managed to leave the museum for a new one that actually let him be a tour guide. You eventually managed to find work that let you use your skills in art instead of using it to beat the boredom of your job. And you also moved in with Steven in his little flat, in which he cleared out some of this clutter to make a space for you to work and make your own.

You would draw little doodles for Steven to have. Like Gus swimming around. An Egyptian god that you made using his books as a reference. You even drew him a little alligator with a speech bubble saying "Later" on a sticky note. He still has it by the way. He laminated it using clear tape and has it in his wallet as a pick-me-up when he's upset or as a lucky charm of sorts. You always made drawings for him. But never once had he thought that you would make drawings of him. Let alone how many drawing you made of him.

Steven isn't a man who likes to snoop around regularly, feeling a massive sense of ruining someone's privacy. But you said that he could always look through your sketchbooks and art pieces if he wanted, as long as it wasn't a commission that was still being worked on, which he respected. You, like any other artist, had a plethora of sketchbooks of different sizes that served different purposes. There were your personal sketchbooks, outline and testing sketchbooks, practice sketchbooks, a lot of sketchbooks with a lot of different things they were for. It amazed him just how many you had and how you were able to remember which is which.

He knew which ones were ones he gifted you though. Steven was never confident when it came to gifting you supplies. He wasn't an artist himself so he didn't know what was perfect and what was something you would say thank you for out of courtesy. One of the things he used as a safe play were sketchbooks. The bookstore he frequented had a section of art stuff and found that the sketchbooks were not only great quality but also had various designs on their covers. So he'd get you one almost every time he went.

When he looked at them on the shelf next to your desk he realized that he had never actually seen inside of those ones. He was a bit hesitant to grab one since he didn't know if you would want him to. It's not like he could ask you right now. You were out running some important errands and he didn't want to bother you. However, they were on the part of the shelf that you put all your regular personal sketchbooks, which he was allowed to look at so he took a one random from the collection and flicked through the pages.

Out of some coincidence, it was the first sketchbook he got you, which was admittedly one he got you before he learned what pages were good for actual art. The first few pages were doodles that were likely from testing how the paper held up with the actual process of drawing which soon stopped and the rest of the art was actually taped on like they originally belonged to another sketchbook.

Steven thought of that as a clever use for the pages. You would sometimes make art you thought was nice on miscellaneous papers and would simply take the piece with the art out and stick it somewhere else. But he soon notices a theme amongst all the doodles and drawings, which then follow into all of the other sketchbooks he gifted you.

Him.

Most of the drawings in these sketchbooks were of him.

They were all different. Some were him lounging around or taking a nap. Something that would have made him unaware of you creating a drawing of him. There was one that was him asleep laying in bed from what would be your side of the bed. His face was calm, the limpness of his arms and body was captured perfectly, the sheets drawn with the most accurate wrinkles, and the lighting gave the impression of the light of the morning that came in through the curtains. It looked like you simply took a picture of him while he slept but it was clearly a sketch drawn using a pen and pencil.

There was these bust and face portraits that spanned through out the books, of course of him. The first were already so good in detail considering these had to be drawings of him from memory. But they only got more detailed as they went on. You managed to get his amount of stubble right. You had the little baby curls that lived along his hair line. The crease between his eyebrows he had since he always had a slight anxious expression. That tiny little dimple that he had next to his nose that he didn't know existed until you pointed it out one time.

Steven's mind was boggling to him to see such detailed drawings of him that looked so carefully done even when they were simply quick sketches. They were life-like. They were him. They were Steven. To be honest, how could it not? You see his face all the time. So why wouldn't you have him completely memorized. It was just the fact that you had taken time and pages to draw him and him alone.

It was a bit jarring, for the both of you, when you walked through the front door with a hand full of groceries and other things from your errands and he was seen looking at all the drawings of him. You were embarrassed that he finally saw all your drawings of him and worried that he would think it was weird. He thought that he crossed a line and breached your privacy.

You two avoided talking about it till Steven finally did during dinner later that evening.

"You, uh, draw me... a lot." Steven spoke. "Yeah. I do." you blush as you avoided eye contact in case his eyes showed that your fear of him finding your habit with drawing him was strange was correct. "Why do you draw me so much?" he questions. You sighed, "It's sort of a habit I formed." you confess. You proceeded to explain how it started,

"I first drew you as an exercise to get rid of some art block. I usually draw faces of people I know as a means to do that. So I drew you. It was okay. But when I looked at it a couple days later I thought that I could do it again to improve on detailing some more. Then I used you as a study for lighting and colors.".

"Then, sometimes, I would just draw you when I thought you looked pretty or thought of you. And that's sort of what I've been doing." you explain further. "I thought you would find it weird if you saw all the times I drew you and so I just put them in the books you got me and hoped you wouldn't see them." you say in a timid manner.

"I don't think it's strange. I think it's actually quite flattering." Steven clarifies. "I was just surprised that you think of me as something worth drawing. Especially with such detail." he remarks. You breathe a sigh of relief at that.

"If I'm entirely honest, love," Steven spoke up, "Never tell me that you're drawing me from where I am. I'll get nervous and possibly ruin the position that you're drawing me in." he remarks.

In my Anathema AU, it is an ancient evil that had been sealed away in the stone that Six Ears first emerges from. One that almost no one, except a handful up in heaven, know the existence of.

Since Six Eared Macaque emerged, it has been (albeit very, VERY slowly over the course of centuries) trying to take control of his body. The shadow being takes on many shapes and forms, the "Smoke Monster" is simply one of many. The entity only ever appears to macaque, unless macaque is using supposed "kaiju form"

And so is this fucking guy, who for the life of me I CANNOT figure out what his name is, besides the Demon King of Havoc referring to him in the show as "Grandpa Qian" I think (correct me if I'm wrong, I've only seen the first 14 episodes of the show 💀)

In Anathema AU, Demon King of Havoc and Grandpa Qian have no association with each other. DKH simply wants to take over the mountain that Old Chief Monkey & Macaque reside on to further spread his forces and territory (to which he succeeds in running the monkeys of the mountain and takes Six Ears as a prisoner for 700 years.)

This is the form that appears most often to Macaque. For now we'll refer to the entity as "Qian" until I either figure out a name for the entity or learn what this dude's name in particular actually is lol

Qian is manipulative and messes with Mac's head a lot, slowly chipping away at his will in hopes of making him vulnerable enough to fully possess him one day.

The color of Macaque's fur is usually a pretty good indicator of how far along Qian's possession of him is. The darker his fur is, the closer Qian is to his goal of being in full control.

At times he'll so much as twist reality in Macaque's head for his own goals. As a result, Six Ears to keep to himself a lot of the time distrusting everyone and everything around him. The only other person he ever felt comfortable being around was Old Chief Monkey, who Six Ears viewed as a grandfatherly figure.

Old Chief Monkey knew there was something up with Six Ears (yknow besides being born from a rock lol), but could never figure out what it was. Regardless, he truly cared for him as if he were his own flesh and blood. The loss of Six Ears during the DKH invasion of the mountain filled him with so much grief, which he still feels to this day.

Sun Wukong didn't even know of the entity trying to slowly possess Macaque, not during all their years of friendship, not during all their years of rivalry, and not in reconciliation did he know about it.

Before the two monkeys ever met, Macaque had long since given up on trying to get rid of Qian. Even if his resolve against Qian hadn't wavered after centinues of being in chains and scorn from both regular mortals and other demons, it's not like the shadowy entity would just let Macaque mention anything about it (at least not explicitly)

SWK had figured this entire time that Macaque's darkening fur had to do with his shadow powers growing. MK (along with his friends) believe something else is going on with our fav fruity goth monkey

...but Qian will not let go of this vessel so easily.

hi i literally know nothing about cyberpunk but im DROOLING OVER UR DESIGNS…i like do not have the patience or mind to ever do smth like that so its so cool to see other ppl make really cool designs for several characters like wow. i think zane and harumi r my favorite IM OBSESSED.

anyways hihihi sorry it took so long to answer this eeee

Okay so I didn’t actually do that much formal research for it, because anytime i try to do that i feel my creativity and livelyness is sapped out of me (probably one of the reasons i hate school lmao) anyways

It’s actually a really funny (and long) story how this au came to be, so at first i saw the party clone of MK in lego monkie kid (this won’t make much sense if you haven’t watched that show sorry, but also at the same time if you haven’t YOU REALLY SHOUDL ITS REALLY GOOD AND THE ANIMATION MAKES ME DROOL NGL) and i was like yo wouldn’t it be cool if Lloyd had an evil party clone too? and then it expanded to an RGB evil clone au (cuz i’m a sucker for RGB siblings haha) and then i got the idea for nya to be a racer and to have a cyborg gf (cough cough pixal) and i was like okay scrap all the clone stuff were making this a completely independent au because this is MUCH cooler. and yeah, idk where the whole cyberpunk thing came from, i just thought it would really fit into the themes of fighting rings, clubs and races :DD

After that i was a bit busy for a while with school (just like i am now :c) but the brain rot for this AU was still going strong, so I made a pinterest board where i saved just a fuck load of cyberpunk shit that i thought looked cool, and whenever i had time i’d use those to draw the designs! here are some sketches with their references :D (zane and harumi included since they were ur favs! ps zane is my fav too, he just gives off such manager vibes but, hot, HAHA)

(ignore the lines, procreate just fucks up stuff if you change the canvas size and you try to access prior versions of the drawing through the timelapse option lmao)

anyways as you can see not even all of the references are cyberpunk stuff

AND YEAH I USED UR LLOYD AS INSPIRATION, I REALLY LIKE UR ARTSTYLE OKAY MOVING ON

some of the stuff was different and changed a lot through the process, like for example i decided against harumi having the furs because she would never wear them in this AU, she needs practicality in her fighting matches haha. I also changed a lot of lloyd design, cuz i was like “hehe, heelies” cuz zoom zoom, yk? and then u have zane, which was really straightforward coz i had almost exactly how i wanted him to be set in stone in my mind xd

A/N: Is it wrong that I can personally relate to how sassy and arrogant the reader is?

“Hey, Tony?” You asked, entering his lab with the tablet in your hands and Maria following you.

The doors to Tony’s lab opened. One side of the room was arranged with different sizes and colors of suits, the other side with fancy cars and bikes he had collected. The center of the room was an absolute mess, it contained a few hologram projectors and tablets. In the middle of everything, Tony sat working. 

“What’s up, stranger?” He asked, working on one of his suits. You rolled your eyes at the nickname.

He did not bother looking up when you entered. It was a regular occurrence for you to come down to his lab and rant when you were not having a good day. Tony glanced up when he heard two sets of footsteps entering his lab, surprised when he saw Maria following you instead of leading you.

“What is up with this suit?” You showed Tony the tablet. “I mean, this is something I’d buy at the Disney store if I wanted to dress up as Natasha.”

Tony snickered and took the tablet from you, converting the screen into a full-scale hologram in front of him. Maria stood there, a little stunned at the technology, she had not been to Tony’s lab often. You groaned at the suit and started fixing the gloves and the chest area.

Tony switched on his rock playlist, which only annoyed you more. You took the music controls from him after bickering and played your playlist. Tony glared at you and got back to his work as electronic music started playing through the room. You noticed Maria staring and shrugged.

“They all have weird music tastes, my brother listens to classical, I can’t tolerate it,” You gestured around you. 

Maria noticed the rock band posters on the walls and the cd’s which lay spread out in front of a cassette player Tony had plugged into the surround sound. 

“What song is this?” Maria asked, sitting down on one of the boxes in the corner as she watched you work.

“You don’t know this?” You asked, incredulously. Maria shook her head. 

“No one knows your music y/n,” Tony muttered, you glared at him.

“It’s ‘Back & Forth’ by MK, Jonas Blue, and Becky Hill,” You answered, humming the lyrics while working.

Maria shrugged and continued watching you, she needed to observe how you worked and how you thought to give you tasks. But you started making conversation with her while you worked on your suit which caught her off guard. The brunette stuttered while answering your questions, glaring at Tony whenever he snickered at her behavior. Tony had never seen Maria blush or fluster around someone. 

“How long have you worked with them?” Maria asked you shrugged and replaced a part on the hologram. 

“A few years at least, you wouldn’t believe how often they get themselves injured.” You answered, humming to the music you were playing.

Tony got up and fidgeted with the thermostat, making it warmer. You groaned and bickered with him. 

“You picked the music,” Tony argued, you glared at him.

Eventually, it got too warm for you. You unbuttoned your button up to reveal a tight tank top underneath it. You fanned yourself with the collar of your button-up. Maria tried not to stare but failed. 

“So, what exactly does the s/o do?” You asked, changing the topic before Maria could start complaining about the temperature. 

“I supervise what you do, guide you to become better, and observe you,” Maria answered easily.

“That’s it?” You asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Well, I also,” Maria stuttered when you took off your button up in the heat. 

The brunette gulped, staring at you. The sweat on your body had created a light sheen, but you wore it like you were glowing. You looked hot.

“Also?” You asked, drawing her out of her thoughts. smirking when you saw her blush. 

“I, I also make sure you stay out of trouble,” Maria said. You laughed at her response, knowing it wasn’t her original response. 

“Good luck with that.” Tony chuckled.

“What?” Maria asked, you snickered and went back to work, leaving Tony to explain. 

“One of the greatest spies in the Avengers and Captain America have been trying to keep her out of trouble for the past four years,” Tony explained, gesturing to your laughing state. “None have succeeded.”

“Well, that’s that then,” You laughed, getting up and stepping away from the suit.

You swiped the hologram back into the tablet and showed the newly improved suit to Tony. His eyes widened slightly. You had improved it a lot. There were now fingerless gloves. The suit was a little tighter. The shoes were athletic trainers. There were lines of fav/color and gold adorning it. 

It was minimalist but gorgeous. 

“See, now it doesn’t look like a Halloween costume,” You remarked. 

Tony grumbled a sarcastic comment and plugged it into a machine and examined it. Maria moved to leave, but you called her name, stopping her. Slinging your button-up over your shoulder, you gestured outside. 

“Wanna go get a bite?” You asked. 

“Where?” 

“I don’t know, Tones, any suggestions?” You shouted over your shoulder while walking outside. 

“There’s a great Italian place a few blocks out,” Tony shouted absentmindedly.

“Great, JARVIS, send the directions to my car.” You instructed, grinning as you left the lab.

“Of course Ms. Strange,” JARVIS said, interrupting the music. 

Tony grumbled something about the music and changed it back to his rock music. 

“You know your way around,” Maria commented, you shrugged.

“Isn’t that a good thing though?.” You asked, walking around as if you owned the tower.

“Maybe,” Maria shrugged.

You left your room to change into something else, Maria didn’t have a change of clothes, so she waited for you by the entrance. 

Maria thought about you while waiting, she hadn’t expected you to be like this. She Had heard you were arrogant and conceited, just like your brother. The brunette had expected you to hate her, but instead, you had invited her for lunch. The rumors about you were true, you were arrogant and annoying, but it was easy to get along with you. 

Deep in thought, the brunette didn’t notice you walking up to her. 

“S/o, you ready?” You asked. Maria turned around to face you, you’d changed into a casual light blue v-neck blouse, with black ripped jeans, Puma shoes and a smoke denim jacket with a flannel interior. 

“Stop calling me s/o,” Maria muttered, you laughed and led her over to your car.

You drove a black Lamborghini, bought with your own money. Stephen wanted to claim it as his, but you refused to let the master of the mystic arts drive around in your car. So, you kept it.

“But you are my s/o, or are you cheating on me?” You teased, opening the driver's seat of the car and sitting inside. 

The interior of the car was a bright red, Maria looked around the car while sitting down. You looked at the instructions on the screen and shrugged. You started the car and played your playlist, talking about how you bought the car before you noticed you’d been rambling. 

Maria was absentmindedly listening to you, her attention to how fast you were going. She had been in a car with Romanoff and many other people who loved to drive fast. But you were going faster than any of them. 

You glanced over to see Maria clutching the armrest tightly, you chuckled and put your hand on top of hers casually. 

The brunette almost pulled away instantly, already tense at how fast you were driving. But she stayed, clenching and unclenching the fingers of her free hand. ‘Back & Forth’ started playing from your playlist, you started humming and tapping the beats of the song on Maria’s hand. 

‘You're only nice when you wanna be

You always leave me wondering, wondering’

Maria took in a deep breath, unsure of where lunch with you was going to take her, but she was liking it so far. 

‘It's the same old story in this tug of war

We go back and forth, we go back and forth’
