Tumblr media
God, my 😺 been quivering... What? I bet those of you who read Rendezvous would agree that you want him too. I'M LOOKING AT YOU!! READERS WHO'VE READ THOSE CHAPTERS ACTING LIKE YOU HAVEN'T THOUGHT ABOUT IT, SMH. 👁👁 Don't lie.
Man, this is giving me mad inspiration to write again. Who knew that some steamy shower panels would bring me back to continue writing for that story? How ironic. 😅
Tumblr media
YESSSSSS GUN BBG, MAN WHORE, DADDYYYYYYY. 🥰
Tumblr media
DAAAAAAAAMMMNNNNN DANIEL, BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH THE FANCY FIGHTING SPINS!!! Also, "I'm gonna get punished severely when I get back." 🧐 Is Gun gonna make you give him 🧠 or nah? Like what?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BRUHHHHHHHHHH. DANIEL NOOOOOOOOOO!!! 😭😭😭
Tumblr media
AWWWW BABY, DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP ABOUT IT. JUST CONTINUE TO GIVE IT YOUR ALL!!! 🥺🥺

Tumblr media
AYO, IS THAT JAKE'S OLDER BROTHER??? 👀 HOW TF JAMES LEE KNEW ABOUT HIM AND NOT EVEN HIS OWN BROTHER, JAKE KIM KNEW ABOUT HIM UNTIL TOM LEE MENTIONED HIM??? 💀💀💀💀
Tumblr media
Geez, I'm starting to feel bad for Jichang. Like, ok Daniel, I get it. Your fight with Jichang started because you're trying to find out more about Jinyoung and all that, but... y'all can't just... talk it out? 😅 "Civilized folks" style? No? Ok.
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I KNEW ITTTTTTT!!! I TOLD Y'ALL WTF. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I EVEN KNEW IT IN THE LAST REVIEW HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I GOT PSYCHIC POWERS. 🔮
Tumblr media
SEE???? I CONCLUDED THIS LAST WEEK WITH MY OWN WORDS, BRUH. CALL ME A... G E N I U S. ✨ (Actually don't. I'm still a dumbass.)
Tumblr media
"Thanks. I almost died just now." 💀💀💀💀 Idk why I thought that line from Hudson was funny to me LMFAOOO. Just caught me off guard because I mostly see him being so serious all the time. Also, Jichang... don't underestimate Daniel lol. It'll be your downfall if you do.
Tumblr media
I stg. Almost every chapter, Daniel always gets even more attractive. 😍😍
Tumblr media
I always see people comment on how Daniel is turning more into Gun due to how he has improved in fighting as the story progresses. HOWEVER, I've never heard Daniel becoming James Lee before and I find that concept very interesting. I'm not sure if PTJ is leading Daniel towards that path of him becoming the new "James Lee", since he is a self-righteous character who seeks truth.
Even though I find this moment to be very cool, I worry that Daniel might create more enemies for himself and I hope he doesn't kill anyone then spiral into long-term guilt like James Lee.
God, I still can't get over the GUN SHOWER PANELS. AHHHHHHHHH!!! HIM... NAKED??? I MEAN, COME ON MAN. HE LITERALLY IS EXPENSIVE ALCOHOL WHO REALLY AGED SO GOOD. SO TASTY. SO DELICIOUS. SO SCRUMPT-DIDDLY-UMPTIOUUUSSSSS!!! CALL ME A CONNOISSEUR, BUT HE CAN BE THE YAMATO TO MY HENNESSY, WITH HIS HIGH PRICED SEXY ASS. 🤤🤤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Tumblr media
If any one mentions him in the shower, yk Imma be "showering" down there. 💦
ALSO, WE NEED MORE SHOWER FAN SERVICE PTJ. KEEP 'EM COMING!!!
Tumblr media
The correct answer is "Both".
They'd be amazing Calvin Klein models.
Anyways, BYE- 🏃🏽‍♀️

hiii everyone!! i just finished following the masterlist and wanted to make a quick introduction <3 this is august back again (jinyoung, yejun) with a new third muse who is very dear to my heart; introducing zhou yinuo, your golden retriever girlfriend! as usual i'll stick the tl;dr about her under the cut and i'm looking forward to getting her involved so please let me know if you'd like to plot!!
born in quingdao, china and lived there her entire life up until 2020 when she came to south korea after being scouted and signed to kt entertainment (same company as yulbe!)
back home her parents own a brewery she practically grew up in and she loves it, but she wanted to explore the world and experience more things before settling down into the family business.
she trained for about a year before kt debuted their girl group, yinuo obviously didn't make the cut, and a lot of the female trainees were cut from the company altogether.
she wasn't ready to go home yet though! so she figured out how to stay in south korea, visa issues etc, and... is still here, still casually trying to be an idol since it seems fun, and currently working at jindallae's restaurant's bar because she could bartend in her sleep and also. she really enjoys buying things.
personality-wise, like i said she's a golden retriever! super friendly and outgoing, never afraid to try something new or jump into a conversation or introduce herself to anyone who seems interesting... she's just everyone's best friend and goes out of her way to make everyone around her feel welcome and included.
lesbian. she loves women so much. very easily distracted by a pretty girl... and also falls in love so quickly and moves way too fast. it's probably burned her in the past.
as for a few initial plot ideas... i think any of these connections might be neat!
and they were roommates.... i don't think miss yinuo can afford her own place at this time so would love to get her in with a roommate or two! maybe three, why not! the more the merrier!
boys who hit on her and she remained completely oblivious thanks to her utter lack of attraction to them... she would love to be your friend though <3
i've been joking that of all the handsome guys who work at the restaurant, yinuo gets the most numbers from female patrons. would love for her to make some of those imaginary connections real! girls she's chatted with and given her number to from across the bar... regulars who she's dreamed up a fantasy love story about in her head... anything
she is easily suckered into buying gimmicky products. you take advantage of this somehow.
her go-to helper in korean! she's pretty fluent after being fully immersed for the last four years but every now and then she runs into a word she doesn't know. so she texts you immediately since you obviously have all the answers.
idk this is all i have off the top of my head but! yinuo is so fun and literally wants to be friends with everyone so please give her a shot she'll be your bff <3

Pairing: Yugyeom x barista gn!Reader
Genre: Fluff, light crack
Warnings: mentions of blood and injuries, nothing serious
WC: 813
Summary: Yugyeom...is a hot mess. But maybe it's worth it.
-
Yugyeom…is a hot mess. If you could describe him in three words, that would be all the vocabulary you need. He stays up indescribably late, he ignores his allergies in favour of getting pets and not cleaning his house, the list is just too long. You’d think as a twenty-three-year-old he would have some basic life skills down. But alas. He does not.
Take now, for instance. Yugyeom is standing in line at a local cafe, and yet he doesn’t know what to order. And instead of looking at the menu, he’s staring at the case of bagels, hoping that maybe that would spark some inspiration as to what to order.
“I can take the next customer!” Shit. Yugyeom walks up to the register and it definitely doesn’t help that the employee is adorable, with a wide smile and sparkling eyes. Look, Yugyeom’s a fucking simp, all right? “Hi, what can I get you today?”
“Um.” Yugyeom’s panicking. “Can I have a black coffee with…um…caramel?”
The barista nods, lips pressed together to avoid laughing at Yugyeom’s questionable order. Still cute. Their name tag reads (Y/N) and Yugyeom mouths the name, letting it roll off his tongue. (Silently though, he doesn’t think he could take even more embarrassment.) “Would you like anything else with that?”
“No, thanks.” The pin pad beeps and Yugyeom goes to slide his card. He swipes it cleanly once. Then twice. Then a third time. Why isn’t his card working? Yugyeom panics harder, sliding it once more.
“You’re sliding the wrong side,” (Y/N) kindly interjects, a smile still on their face. Yugyeom clamps his mouth shut and he can hear his teeth clack together as he flips his card and tries once more.
Again with the error. Yugyeom sweats and he might actually cry if this keeps up. (Y/N) is staring at the keypad, smile gone, with a look that Yugyeom can’t quite name on their face. Probably confusion at how this grown man can’t seem to swipe a card correctly. “Um…you’re now swiping the card upside down.”
Yugyeom wishes really, really hard that he could just disappear on the spot. But alas, the world is against him today and any other day. “Sorry,” he mumbles out instead, swiping the card correctly this time.
“That’s all right,” (Y/N) smiles kindly, “I’ve had those days too.” Yugyeom offers a wobbly smile in return, turning to leave so that the next customer can order.
Except…as previously mentioned…the world is working against him. He trips over his own feet and crashes right into the pastry display. A loud, resounding crack is heard and Yugyeom regrets deciding to even step out of his apartment for the day. He slowly lifts his head from where he smacked it against the counter and winces at the large crack going through the glass pane. He’s glad it didn’t shatter but…he sighs at the amount he will have to pay to repair that.
“Oh, my God,” he can hear them gasp. “Jinyoung, come out here and take orders. Someone fell down.” Yugyeom silently appreciates how they didn’t call attention to how it was definitely his fault that he fell. He carefully sits back up, eyes trained on the floor as a sense of defeat overcomes him.
A warm hand touches his shoulder gently. “Sorry,” Yugyeom mumbles out before they can say anything, not even looking up from the floor. “I’ll pay for the damages.”
“Don’t worry about that,” (Y/N) tells him, “we’ll figure that out later. Come to the back and sit down, your head’s bleeding.”
Yugyeom nods and lets them lead him into the backroom, where they sit him down and quickly run to grab a cool, damp towel. As they press it to his head, they cluck their tongue and sigh, and Yugyeom feels the need to apologise. “I’m sorry,” he whispers. “I don’t know why I’m so clumsy today.”
They laugh a little. “It’s okay, it happens to the best of us. I just hope you’re not too badly hurt, yeah?” They subconsciously drum their fingers against his head and a shiver runs down Yugyeom’s spine.
“Thank you,” he mumbles out again and smiles up at them shyly from underneath his bangs. “...Could I buy you a coffee?”
(Y/N)'sr eyes crinkle as they return his smile. “Sorry, I don’t drink coffee.” His heart almost stops in embarrassment for the second time today, but then they continue talking. “But I wouldn’t be opposed to tea.”
“Tea? I could do that. When are you off? We could go to that new place across the street?” Yugyeom’s shy and he just knows if his roommates catch wind of this the teasing will never end.
“It’s a date.”
Yugyeom falls off the chair but even through the sound of their laughter, he can’t help but grin. Maybe his ineptitude is worth it.

eve’s masterlist
Tumblr media
“There’s something I want to talk to you about,” Jinyoung said.
Eve nodded. “I figured.”
The two were in Jinyoung’s office, Eve standing in front of her producer’s desk. Jinyoung was seated in his chair, leaning against the back of it.
He gestured to the chair in front of her. “Don’t you want to sit down?”
“I’m good, thank you.”
Jinyoung watched her for a few beats. “I noticed that the streams for diary entries have been going up,” he noted.
“Yeah. MIDZY told me that they’re doing a streaming project this week for diary entries’ first anniversary.”
“They’re very motivated fans,” he complimented. “They always support you.”
Eve sighed, rubbing her temples. “Is there a reason I’m here? I have a dance practice to get to.”
“I see you’re still angry with me,” Jinyoung said, ignoring Eve. “You should get over it.”
“No, thank you,” Eve refused. “Just tell me whatever it is you want to sa–”
“Do you want to have a comeback?” Jinyoung interrupted.
Eve tilted her head. “What do you mean? We’re preparing for it right now.”
Jinyoung shook his head. “No, no, no. Do you want to have a comeback?”
Eve was silent as she slowly understood what he was saying. “A solo comeback?” She scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest. “No.”
“Why not?”
“Because I’m supposed to be focusing on ITZY,” she answered plainly. “That’s why I stopped MCing and that’s why I couldn’t do the drama. Besides, shouldn’t the members at least make their debut before I have a comeback?”
Jinyoung shook his head, leaning forward to place his forearms on his desk. “That’s not how this works.”
“Why not?”
“Because I said so.”
Eve sighed, putting her hands in her sweatpants pockets. “I don’t want a comeback,” she declared. “Not until the members have their debuts.”
“I think you should think about this more,” Jinyoung said. “Sleep on it and come to a de–”
“I don’t want to do it, Jinyoung! That’s my final answer.”
She stormed out of the room, ignoring Jinyoung’s shouts for her to come back.
Tumblr media
Eve was on her way to the JYP building after talking to someone about using their building for one of her upcoming That’s So Evie episodes. She was in the backseat with Ari in the passenger seat and Jun, her driver, in the driver’s seat.
“Eve, I didn’t know you were having a comeback,” Jun said as he drove onto a bridge.
Eve looked up from the book she was reading. “What do you mean?”
“When you were talking with the building owner, the head of the concept team was joking saying I must forget about going on holiday because you’re going to be promoting,” Jun told Eve.
Eve looked at Ari, who was scrolling through her phone. Ari nodded slowly as she read a message. “Yeah, it’s true. You’re having a comeback, Eve.”
Eve ruffled around in her tote bag for her phone, immediately going to her chats when she found it.
that guy [18:23] It’s official. You’re having a comeback.
that guy [18:23] We’ll talk more about it when you get back to the company.
She read and reread those two messages, feeling rage fill her chest. Eve could feel Ari and Jun’s eyes on her, but ignored them as she shoved her earphones into her ears, blasting her music on the highest volume and closing her eyes.
Eve stayed like that until they reached the front of the company building. She didn’t wait for the car to come to a complete stop before she stormed out, ignoring Jun shouting in shock and leaving all her belongings. She walked quickly to Jinyoung’s office, only stopping to greet the people she passed on her way. Ignoring Jinyoung’s secretary’s instructions to wait outside, Eve pushed his door open, his secretary following her inside the room.
“What is your problem?” She asked him, watching as he closed his laptop and pushed it to the side of his desk. “I told you I didn’t want a comeback.”
“I decided to give you one,” Jinyoung said. He dismissed his secretary with a wave of his hand, waiting for her to leave and close the door behind her. “I don’t understand why you’re being so emotional.”
“Because it’s unfair! The other members would love to have this kind of opportunity, so why not give it to them? I mean, what happened in the past three days that made you just ignore what I said. I don’t want this!”
Jinyoung studied Eve. “Yes, you do. You want to be a singer and singers sing. This is what you signed up for.”
Eve’s hands shook with anger as she took a deep breath to calm herself down. “You very clearly don’t know what I want. All I want is for you to treat us equally and give us the same opportunities — something you seem to be incapable of doing. Please, can you not give me a comeback,” she pleaded.
Jinyoung was silent for a few seconds. He sat up in his chair, opening his laptop. “It’s going to be in September or October,” he told her.
“Oh my god,” Eve said softly, hanging her head. She looked up at him again, feeling defeated. “What’s the concept?” She asked.
“We’ll discuss that later. You can come up with your own ideas, or bring any songs you’ve worked on and we’ll decide from that.”
Eve nodded. “Can I leave now?”
Jinyoung smiled at her. “Yes, you can.”
Eve turned around, walking out of the room. When she left, she saw Ari leaning against the wall, waiting for her with two bags slung over her shoulder. Eve tipped her head at the hallway, silently telling Ari they could leave. They walked silently to the parking lot, Ari’s hand on Eve’s back the entire time.
Getting in the car, Eve slammed her door shut. She put her head on the dashboard of the car, resting it on her arm. Ari sat in silence with Eve, waiting for the younger girl to say something.
Blood pounded in Eve’s ears. Her heart thudded in her chest. Her hands shook. She inhaled shakily, trying to get air into her body. She repeated that two more times, drawing Ari’s attention.
“Eve?” Ari called out.
Eve brought her hands to her chest, clinging onto her shirt.
“Eve, what’s wrong? Look at me, please,” Ari requested.
Eve slowly lifted her head as she began hyperventilating, tears streaming down her face. Ari realised what was wrong, reaching to hold Eve’s unoccupied hand.
“Hey, copy me.” Ari began to take deep breaths. “That’s good. You’re doing great,” she complimented when Eve copied her. They kept doing that until Eve had slightly calmed down.
“Evie,” Ari began in a soft voice, “can you tell me what’s wrong?”
“They’re–” Eve paused to take a deep breath. “They’re gonna hate me.”
“Who’s gonna hate you? The fans? They’d never hate y–”
“The members,” Eve interrupted. “I’m alw– I’m always doing more stuff than them. They’re gonna hate me.”
Ari shook her head. “Remember what Dr. Park said? Your members don’t think of you like that, it’s just your brain feeding you lies, okay? Your members would never — could never — hate you. What have the members said about your solo schedules?”
Eve nodded slowly as she regulated her breathing. “That they’re not angry at me,” she said.
“And?” Ari prompted.
“That they understand some of them aren’t my choice. And they know I’d rather we all do solo schedules.”
“Yes. They said all that,” Ari said, wiping away Eve’s tears. “They’re not going to hate you,” she whispered one more time for good measure. “You don’t have to worry about that. Ever.”
Eve nodded. The two women sat in the car until Eve had properly calmed down. Ari passed her a granola bar to snack on.
“It’s all going to be okay,” Ari comforted once more as she shot Kibum a text to let him know that Eve might call him that night. She put her phone down on her lap, placing her hand on the steering wheel. “You okay to go home?”
Eve nodded. “Yeah. We can go.”
She put on her seat belt as Ari started the car and passed her her bag. Throughout the drive, Eve stared out the window, watching the buildings pass by in a blur. She was acutely aware of Ari sneaking glances at her every so often.
When they arrived at the apartment underground parking, Eve unbuckled her seat belt. She put her hand on the door handle.
“I’ll see you tomorrow,” Eve told Ari, voice soft.
Ari nodded, putting her hand on Eve’s thigh. “Call me if you don’t feel okay?”
Eve nodded. “Okay. I should also apologise to Jun oppa. Jumping out the car was not wise of me.”
“Don’t worry about him for now. Just take care of yourself tonight,” Ari instructed. “Are you going to tell the members about your comeback?”
Eve sighed. “Yeah.” She opened the door. “Might as well just get it over and done with.” She hopped out of the car, closing it and stepping back. “Bye, unnie.” She waved at Ari.
“Bye, Eve.”
Eve turned to walk into the building, not waiting for Ari to drive away because she knew her manager liked to see Eve enter the building before leaving. She pressed the button for the elevator, waiting for it to arrive before stepping in. After pressing her floor number, she slumped against the back of the elevator. Just as the doors shut, Eve felt a fresh wave of tears fill her eyes.
“What the hell?” She muttered, raising her hand to wipe away her tears. She used her jacket sleeve as tissue, trying her best to rid herself of her tears. Her shoulders shook as she cried, only slowing down as she got closer and closer to her floor.
By the time Eve got off the elevator, her tears had slowed again, with only two drops leaving her eyes every few seconds. She walked to her apartment door, taking a deep breath and wiping her face one last time before entering the code for the door.
Eve walked into the apartment, dragging her feet against the floor. She took off her sneakers and replaced them with slippers, holding the former pair of shoes in her hand.
“Unnie, is that you?” Yeji asked from the kitchen.
“Yeah,” she answered. Eve walked to the living room. She stood to the side of the couch for a few seconds before dropping everything that was in her hands and plopping herself forward onto the piece of furniture.
Ryujin and Lia came out of the latter girl’s room, laughing about something. Chaeryeong walked up to Eve, tapping her shoulder.
“Unnie, taste this filling,” Chaeryeong requested, holding the filling of a dumpling in her hand. “Yeji unnie said it tastes weird, but I think it tastes fine,” she explained. She waited a few seconds for Eve to raise her head, looking at Ryujin when she didn’t.
“Unnie?” Ryujin called out.
Eve groaned into the pillow in response, shrugging her shoulders as Chaeryeong tapped her again. She pushed herself off of the pillow, raising her head to look at Chaeryeong.
“What’s in the filling?” Eve asked.
Chaeryeong gasped, seeing the blotchiness on Eve’s face. “Unnie, what happened?” She quickly looked at Ryujin and Lia.
“We’ll worry about that later,” Eve waved her off, “I need to taste your food so we can eat dinner.” Chaeryeong struggled for words for a few seconds before giving Eve the food to taste. “It needs more salt and a little lemon juice,” she decided after swallowing.
“Okay, now we know that,” Lia said, sitting down next to Eve, “what’s wrong?”
“Where’s Yuna?” Eve asked.
“Fetching something from the other dorm,” Ryujin answered.
“Yeji unnie!” Chaeryeong shouted. “Come here!”
“Okay!” Yeji responded. She turned the stove to low heat before leaving the kitchen. “What’s up?” She asked in a cute voice, her demeanour changing when she saw Eve. “Unnie, what’s wrong?”
Eve gasped. “Do I look that bad? I feel like I don’t.”
“You look horrible,” Ryujin said in a soft tone.
“Thank you for your honesty.” Eve sniffled. “I need to blow my nose.”
Chaeryeong rushed to Yeji’s room, coming back with a box of tissues. She gave them to Lia, who handed Eve one. At that moment, Yuna came into the dorm.
“It took forever for me to find the potatoes,” she said as she entered the dorm. “It was hidden behind so many things in– What’s going on?” She asked, taking note of how her members were crowded around Eve with worried expressions on their faces.
“I’m having a comeback,” Eve announced now that Yuna was there. “Fun times, fun times.”
“A solo comeback?” Yeji asked.
Eve nodded. “Yeah, I, uh… I just got told today, so there’s that.”
“Okay, but why are you crying?” Ryujin asked, voice still soft, as she wiped away fresh tears that had begun to fall out of Eve’s eyes.
“Again?” Eve groaned. “I hate being emotional. Is my period coming?”
Yuna sat down next to Yeji in front of Eve. “You’re having a comeback?”
Eve sighed. “Yeah. He asked me a few days ago if I wanted one, and I said ‘No’ and I guess he didn’t care because I am having one.”
Yuna leant forward, wrapping her arms around Eve’s torso, the other members following suit and hugging her.
“How are you feeling?” Chaeryeong asked once they pulled apart, now sitting next to Ryujin.
Eve looked down at her lap, playing with her fingers.“Lost,” she answered. “I had a panic attack in the car, I broke down in the elevator and I started crying again now, which confuses me,” she said, a questioning expression on her face. “I’m also feeling… guilty,” she hesitantly admitted, knowing what her members were going to tell her.
“Why do you feel guilty?” Yeji asked, placing her hand in Eve’s lap to take hold of one of her hands. “We can all see that you don’t want this.”
She sniffled. “Yeah, but I still got it. And you guys didn’t.”
“We’ll have debuts when we have debuts,” Lia said. “You shouldn’t worry about that.”
“Worrying is all I do. It’s my default setting.”
“Did PD-nim not give you a choice?” Ryujin asked.
Eve shook her head. “I begged him not to give me a comeback and I got told that it’s happening in September or October. He doesn’t care about what I want.”
“I’m sorry, unnie.”
“It’s not your fault. It’s none of your guys’ faults.” She sighed. “It’s just… it’s just life, I guess.”
“It shouldn’t be like this, though,” Yuna said.
Eve shook her head. Inhaling deeply, she looked at her members. “Anyways, that’s my news. Um, don’t expect tears from me for the next… for the rest of the year, actually. I’m gonna go take a shower,” she said, standing up. “Being a businesswoman and getting venues is hard work.” She picked up her bag and went to her room. After collecting everything she needed, she went to the bathroom.
The members looked at the door until they heard the water start. Chaeryeong flopped against the couch as Yeji stood up.
“What are we going to do?” Lia asked. “She can’t keep being treated like this.”
“There’s nothing we can do,” Yeji said, shaking her head as she put her hands on her hips. “We’ve tried before and unnie still had busy schedules.”
Yuna continued looking at the bathroom door with a pout on her face. “This must be hard for unnie,” she commented sadly.
Ryujin clapped her hands. “She doesn’t want us to be sad,” she said. “She’d hate it if we were sad, so let’s just pretend we’re okay and then tomorrow we can try talk to PD-nim. Maybe this time he’ll listen.”
Lia nodded, feeling her heart break for her member. “She can’t have a comeback. She’ll overwork herself. Remember what happened last year?” She asked, referring to when Eve fainted.
“Let’s do Ryujinie’s plan then,” Chaeryeong said. “You know Eve unnie hates it when we’re upset, so let’s try be normal for tonight. It’s one of our day’s off, after all.”
Yeji nodded, biting her lip. “Let’s do it. For unnie’s sake.”
The members dispersed around the apartment: Yeji and Chaeryeong going back to the kitchen, Lia going to set the table and Ryujin and Yuna being assistant chefs. Eve exited the bathroom, going to her room to change before going to the kitchen.
“What are you making?” She asked, peeking over Yeji’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry,” Ryujin answered. “Go chillax, we got this.”
“I don’t trust your culinary skills enough to leave you unsupervised in the kitchen.”
Yeji nodded. “That’s fair.”
The members noted how Eve had seemingly gotten over her sadness, behaving just as she normally would.
“Unnie, are you okay, though?” Yuna asked, stopping cutting carrots.
Eve went to her youngest member, wrapping her arms around her shoulders. “I will be,” she answered. “Don’t worry.” She squeezed Yuna. Yuna nodded, placing a kiss on Eve’s cheek.
With that confirmation, everyone slowly began to act normally again. When they were done cooking and were seated at the table to cook, conversation flew seamlessly. Eve told them about the episode of That’s So Evie she was going to film and Chaeryeong told them about how Chaeyeon kept introducing her to people because she “didn’t have friends.” When they were done eating, Eve volunteered to do the dishes, with Lia helping.
“I’m gonna go retire to my room for the night,” Eve said once they were done. “I’ll see you tomorrow. Goodnight!”
“Goodnight, unnie,” Yeji said, the others echoing her.

it might be worse. somehow, going home with him most days for just a couple months was enough to become something he has to unlearn. some part of him still waits, at the end of every training day, to not have to go home alone.
there's something exhausting about it: the constant expectation and disappointment of going home by himself. when he gets home it's almost always dark, sua in her room, whether she's asleep or awake doing something. he usually just takes a shower and goes straight to bed these days; he needs at least an hour to stare blankly at his ceiling before he can manage to get any sleep. he stays as late as he can at training, too, so desperate to postpone the reality of sleeping alone for as long as he can.
it's pathetic. that's how joomi feels: pathetic. even knowing why jinyoung is distant – even understanding it, he's still pathetic. he's still pining and sad and he thinks he would be fine if he could just hold his hand again. he doesn't even need to fall asleep with him like he used to. he'll take anything.
it's just that he can't help but think about him when he's trying to fall asleep alone. he's being dramatic. he tells himself that over and over, but still can't shake the feeling of being so completely and utterly alone. he tries to remind himself: even if he doesn't have jinyoung, he has the dead calm boys, and ren and dohyun, and other friends that matter to him, but...at the end of the day he's still alone. he's always been alone. it's nothing new, and he was fine for years by himself. why is it different now?
he thinks of that night after next gen, when jinyoung tried to bake away his emotions and they awkwardly sat on the couch together with cupcakes in the oven, and he asked him if he could hold his hand. joomi said something then, about how in his saddest moments, he would've really liked someone to hold his hand. maybe that's it, then: two months of always having someone to hold his hand like he always wanted, without knowing he always wanted it. now that it's gone, he feels it.
tonight, it's like an extra weight on his chest, crushing. he stares at his ceiling and doesn't know if he's ever felt so empty or so stupid. somehow, closing his eyes makes it worse. he can't breathe, and he feels like the only person alive in the entire world. he sits up in his bed, hoping that will fix something. it doesn't.
i don't want to be alone, he thinks to himself. ren or dohyun would probably be fine with him calling them and going over, but he feels bad, and he doesn't want to take a fucking train or bus at fuck-o-clock in the morning while on the verge of an emotional breakdown.
sua is here, though. god, he doesn't want to bother her, but he also feels physically incapable of laying here by himself any longer. so he slips out of bed and out of his room, then just sort of awkwardly stands there in the hall outside.
he could just sleep on the sofa instead. that sounds slightly less terrible, but he really just wants to sit with someone. he doesn't know if he even wants to talk. he just wants a concrete reminder that he isn't alone in this world.
he runs over what to say in his head, and stands outside of sua's bedroom door for far too long. eventually, he gathers the courage to open it.
"sua..." he calls. "i'm, um...kinda going through something right now...and i just...don't want to be alone, i think. will you just...come sit with me for a while?" he is so pathetic. he trusts sua, though; he doesn't think she'll say no.

Struggled to type this because I'm sore from my physio therapist appointment

- OK, so we know Jerry also knew Jinyoung and that his father was murderd. We also know there's this mysterious reporter Kim who might have some clues.
- What is the Era of peace?
- Jerry's father had an abnormal body.
- Why does no one know anything about Daniel's connection with Jinyoung? I'm so done. I don’t even care about that anymore.
- Now that lineman's training, I would like to see him go against some of the worker guys that beat him.
- Dj being shady ass hell as usual 🙄. I don't think Daniel should trust him, he's being too trusting. James knows so much but refuses to tell him anything. He's using Daniel to get to jinyoung so he can learn the secret behind the 2 bodies. I know deep down Daniel doesn't trust him that much, but he needs to stop giving James even the tiniest bit of info.
- I feel like Lightning Choi is in danger now that James knows about him.
- oh my God, he really is living by the junkyard💀
- these guys just keep getting stronger, why is his back so huge, it looks like an extra layer of skin😮‍💨
- tf do they mean by " the time has come for us to try to kill each other". As if they weren't giving each other permanent damage. Honestly, gun and Goo's relationship reminds me of 2 siblings, goo being the younger one who is not used to being independent until one day he decides to leave the nest. This whole meeting felt like a family low-key falling apart, goo leaving the family but deciding to visit his brother one last time before leaving. Which makes me think about the whole theory of someone dying and it showing guns' true personality. I originally thought that it was hinting towards Olly and how gun surprisingly has respect for the dead. But now I think it's goo who's going to die. These panels are honestly so well done. The bittersweet smiles and how human they look in here. You can tell they don't want to kill each other.
480
- I feel gun will eventually betray Charles because he took it too far or hold back while fighting goo. That or there'll be a change of plans like in the workers' fight with dg.
- I think gun was genuinely happy to find someone on his level. Maybe he was used to people always agreeing with everything he did or said, so befriending someone like goo was a breath of fresh air.
- Watching this interaction also reminds me of Crystal. It honestly looked like she had a good relationship with James,Gun, and Goo. Calling them hyung and conversing normally. She seemed like the little sister of the family, and Charles is like the power-hungry dad tearing it apart. I almost felt bad watching the junkyard breakup, but then I remembered they're both awful people. The one I truly feel bad for is Crystal. She didn't ask for this, she didn't join Charles because she had a choice.
- The whole thing with Eli deciding Hudson will stay, and the whole " ... so I'll let you borrow one room" thing is pissing me off. Why is he the one making all the decisions, Sally did a lot for Hostle, but somehow, she's just being pushed aside. Ptj wtf. Throughout the entire Hostle arc, it was just Eli getting the credit for half the shit Sally did it was literally her idea to give the runways a home. And the point system shit was not only an Ok idea, but it wasn't even his original it was just something he saw while living on the streets. The fact it's all "Eli this" and " Eli that" is so fucking annoying. Ptj literally showed Sally putting in the work and pushed all the credit toward Eli. Like if you want it to be about him actually make it about him
- Gyeol doesn't deserve his brother.
- Every one of these guys have insane methods, like how do you expect him to talk when you shove his glasses down his throat.
- THE UGLY FACE EXPRESSIONS ARE HERE WHICH MEANS SHIT WILL FINALLY GO DOWN.
- I used to think Charles's weakness was his daughter but now I don't think he gives a fuck about her.
- How did dg record the evidence though?
481
- hey I have that flash drive too
- I think dg was testing the waters with the whole flash drive situation to see Eugene's reaction to him knowing jinyoung.
- Mandeok is like Regina George, his hair is full of secrets literally
- Now they're calling it anxiety attacks instead🫥, ptj please research mental health
- is it me or James feels guilty for killing Gapryong and jinyoung going insane? This makes me think that after that incident James started hating Charles.
- that's some tacky ass writing he has there on his car
- that's the worst marketing strategy I've ever seen
- how did jibeom get so big😃
- Someone said the new guy looks like the lovechild of dg and Eli and now I can't unsee it
- To think Vin killed a king
- I was right about the cult theory
- This is why education is important, people think anything is evil, acting like they're not the devil themselves.

When You Accidentally Fall Asleep On Another Member ~ Got7 Reaction
Mark:
“She looks so relaxed,” Mark smiled as he walked in to see you curled up into Jackson, resting on a cushion against his shoulder.
“She did try to wait for you to come back from shooting but there was no way that she’d stay up,” Jackson explained, “I hope you don’t mind.”
Mark’s head quickly shook in reply to him, “as long as Y/N’s comfy, there’s no way that I mind. Thank you for offering to help her get comfortable.”
“It’s alright,” Jackson smiled, “although I’ve got to admit my shoulder is starting to get a little numb being rested upon.”
A quiet chuckle came from Mark as he walked past you both, “do you want to swap?” Y/N’s probably too asleep to even realise what’s going on around her right now.”
“I don’t want to risk her stirring,” Jackson quickly assured Mark.
“But you’re going to get hurt Jackson.”
Jackson’s head shook, “I’ll be able to wake my shoulder up in no time at all, the pain in my shoulder is nowhere near as bad as how tired Y/N was when she came here.”
“She’s not slept well recently,” Mark informed him, “honestly, it’s just nice to see her asleep for a while.”
“I can stay here for as long as she needs me to.”
“Thank you, I really do appreciate it.”
Jay B:
“What are you doing?” Jaebum asked as soon as he looked to his left and saw that Jinyoung was sat on the sofa with you beside him.
“I’m just helping Y/N out,” Jinyoung quickly explained to him, picking up on how annoyed Jaebum was straight away by his voice.
His brows furrowed as he noticed how content you were. “Why did you let Y/N sleep on you? Why didn’t you offer her a cushion instead?”
“Can you see any cushions round here?” Youngjae laughed as he interjected, “Y/N would break her neck without Jinyoung.”
Jaebum’s eyes glanced back at you both, still not quite able to get used to what he was seeing. “She better not get used to sleeping on you, she should sleep on me.”
“If you were here then she would’ve slept on you,” Jinyoung told him.
“Why didn’t anyone tell me she was tired?”
A roll of the eyes followed from Jinyoung, “because it’s easier to let Y/N rest on us rather than get yelled at by you for interrupting you whilst you’re busy at work.”
“When have I ever yelled?” Jaebum grinned, “you guys know that I’m always nice whenever I’m at work.”
“Shall we go back to all the times at the dorm?”
“Alright, I guess you’ve made your point.”
Jackson:
“Why’s Y/N asleep on you?” Jackson immediately asked as he walked into the dressing room to see you looking rather comfortably against Youngjae.
A shy smile formed on Youngjae’s face, hearing the disapproving tones in Jackson’s voice. “She was leaning this way for a while, and then went.”
Jackson scratched over the top of his head, unable to get mad as he noticed how content you seemed. “She just fell onto your shoulder?”
“Not exactly,” Youngjae frowned, “she was hanging on the edge of my shoulder so I put her on properly otherwise she’d end up hurting her neck.”
Jackson hummed back at him, trying his best not to get too agitated by what he saw. “I guess I should say thank you for that.”
“I know it’s not exactly what you want to see,” Youngjae sympathised.
“You’re definitely not wrong with that.”
The faintiest of chuckles came from Youngjae, “I promise that I’m doing nothing other than helping Y/N sleep, you can’t hate me for doing that, can you?”
“No,” Jackson huffed, “I don’t think I’ve ever hated you, although this might be the closest that I’ve come to feeling that way.”
“It’s because I’m as adorable as Y/N is, right?”
“You wish you were as adorable as Y/N.”
Jinyoung:
“You look cosy,” Jinyoung slightly joked as he walked in to see you fast asleep on Mark, not quite knowing how he wanted to react.
“I couldn’t move her when she laid down on me,” Mark immediately began to explain to him, “she was yawning nonstop beside me.”
Jinyoung nodded in reply as he took a seat opposite the two of you. “To be honest, she’s not exactly been sleeping well these past few nights.”
“I can tell,” Mark weakly smiled back to him, “I’m honestly just giving her a shoulder to rest on, that’s all.”
Mark could tell that Jinyoung wasn’t a huge fan of what he saw, but he was at least glad to see you asleep. “Your shoulder is probably killing right now.”
“It’s not too bad, luckily Y/N’s light,” Mark quietly chuckled.
“You hardly know she’s there, right?”
Mark quickly nodded in agreement with Jinyoung, “I can see why you constantly say how easy it is whenever Y/N falls asleep on you on the road.”
“I wish she was asleep on me now; it feels seeing her asleep on someone else,” Jinyoung admitted in reply.
“She’ll wake up soon, she’ll be all yours then.”
“I can’t wait for her to sleep on me.”
Youngjae:
“Is she alright?” Was the first question that Youngjae had for Jinyoung as soon as he saw that you’d decided to rest against him.
“I see, don’t ask how I am even though I’m being used as a pillow, just see how Y/N is straight away,” Jinyoung joked, shaking his head back at Youngjae.
A shrug came from Youngjae who fought back his laughter, “you’re not the one that I’m dating and therefore you’re not my priority right now.”
“Somehow I’ve ended up doing your job and let Y/N rest on me though,” Jinyoung pointed out to him.
A quiet snigger came from Youngjae in response, “Y/N will fall asleep on anyone, don’t think of yourself as special,” he smartly replied to him.
“What about if I just jolt her awake then?” Jinyoung offered.
“You can’t do that, Y/N’s resting.”
Jinyoung went to move but stopped himself at the last minute, “appreciate the fact that I’m doing your job for you, or I’ll wake Y/N up instead, your choice.”
“Alright,” Youngjae sighed, “you’re doing a great job of letting Y/N use you as a cushion for a little while.”
“You don’t sound too convincing there.”
“Jinyoung, I meant every word.”
BamBam:
“Well,” BamBam sighed as he walked into the dressing room to see you resting against Jaebum’s shoulder, your eyes tightly shut.
“Sorry,” Jaebum laughed back across at him, knowing exactly what it was that BamBam had noticed as soon as he walked into the room.
A shake of the head soon came from BamBam, “the only thing you should apologise for is looking too annoyingly cute with my girlfriend on you.”
“What?” Jaebum laughed, having to try hard to keep his voice quiet enough to make sure that he didn’t wake you up.
BamBam nodded at the puzzled look that was on Jaebum’s face. “She looks really peaceful, and your shoulders are so broad that they’re comfy to rest on too.”
“How do you know what my shoulders are like?” Jaebum asked.
“Look at you, it’s obvious they’re cosy.”
A snigger came from Jaebum as he realised that he was getting under BamBam’s skin. “I can always move if you want me to stop looking cuter with Y/N than you.”
“No one looks cuter with Y/N than me,” BamBam established, “all I said was that you two look pretty cute now.”
“You’re not doing a good job of playing this cool.”
“Really? I thought I was doing well.”
Yugyeom:
“What’s going on?” Yugyeom pouted as soon as he walked into the dressing room and saw you leant against BamBam’s shoulder.
“Y/N’s asleep, be quiet or you’ll wake her,” BamBam whispered, shushing Yugyeom as he awkwardly stood across the room and watched the two of you.
Yugyeom’s eyes narrowed in your direction, “why is she sleeping on you? Y/N shouldn’t be sleeping on you,” Yugyeom mumbled underneath his breath.
“She’s only resting on me,” BamBam tried to assure him, “there’s nothing bad going on, I’m just trying to be a good friend.”
Yugyeom’s head began to shake as he listened to BamBam, “you’re not being a good friend to me right now letting my girlfriend fall asleep on you and not wait for me.”
“Stop being so jealous and pull yourself together,” BamBam teased.
“Why are you being so mean to me now?”
A soft chuckle came from BamBam, “you’re pouting like a kid who got told they couldn’t get some sweets, all Y/N is doing is resting, do you really want to stop that?”
“I guess not,” Yugyeom murmured with a shrug, “but just so you know this is just a one-time thing for you.”
“I don’t plan on making a habit of it Gyeom.”
“I won’t let you make a habit of it either.”

a/n: anon, you were doing god's work by requesting this. I'm sorry if there are any typos, I wrote this at the speed of light because I was excited!! in short, STAN CIX!! they just had their first concert EVER (seunghun's solo stage inspired this fic, pictures above) and tickets to the US shows are still on sale! -j
Tumblr media
You had known for years that your boyfriend was a talented dancer.
If you had a quarter for every dance practice you’d stayed late to watch, every fancam you’d streamed for him… well, it was safe to say you would own a ridiculous amount of quarters.
But somehow, seeing Seunghun on stage tonight was different than anything you’d ever seen before. You had attended all three days of the concert, determined to support him in every way you could. On the first night, your jaw had hit the floor when he’d walked out in his long white jacket, nothing but a harness and bare skin underneath. The second night, you thought you wouldn’t be so shocked at the sight, the pure beauty and perfection that was him, but you’d been very, very wrong.
Now, on the third and final night of their concert, Seunghun had managed to shock you once again. Perhaps it was excitement, maybe adrenaline at finally being able to perform in front of their fans—at the end of the day, it didn’t really matter.
Because your boyfriend was basically naked on stage.
You watched with wide eyes as Seunghun rolled his hips in time with the music. You could hardly form a coherent thought around the sight of sweat coating his skin, glittering beneath the stage lights. His voice sounded heavenly—much like it usually did—but you couldn’t bring yourself to focus on the sound.
You watched in stunned, open-mouthed silence from your place at the edge of the crowd, stubbornly ignoring the growing ache between your legs. As if you could ever forget it, watching him now… you were reminded that Kim Seunghun was nothing short of magnificent.
Too fast, the song ended. You swallowed thickly when the lights faded and were unable to help the smile that spread across your face when Seunghun sprinted offstage, his arms crossed over his bare chest.
You wordlessly turned and made your way to the backstage door. No one noticed as you showed your ID to security and they nodded, holding the door open just wide enough for you to squeeze through.
You’d been to this concert twice now. Jinyoung’s solo stage was just beginning on the stage behind you, and Byounggon would go after him. And during that time, there was only one thing on your mind.
You were going to jump Seunghun’s bones.
Hyunsuk gave you a warm smile when he spotted you in the hall, which promptly morphed into a nervous grimace when he recognized the expression on your face.
“He’s in the dressing room,” he pointed over his shoulder at a door behind him, blushing furiously. “You have, like, ten minutes.”
“Believe me, that’s plenty.” You gave him a high-five as you marched past him.
When you entered the dressing room, Seunghun was chugging from a water bottle like he’d never tasted anything so good in his life.
And he still wasn’t wearing a shirt.
His face split into a wide grin the moment he saw you. Seunghun’s chest rapidly rose and fell, exertion from his solo dance causing sweat to drip down his lean torso.
“Baby? What are you doing back here?” He reached out like he meant to wrap you into a hug, his smile so brilliant it took your breath away. “Did you like the stage today? I think I might have gone a little too far with the—”
His words cut off in a gasp when you pushed him against the counter, his hands immediately scrambling to find purchase on its edge. Your own hands roved over his sweat-drenched abdomen, your fingers trailing beneath the straps of his harness.
When your lips found his, it was not the usual genre of kiss you and Seunghun liked to share. In your current state, your panties already soaked through and sticking to your core, you couldn’t convince yourself to kiss him sweetly or playfully.
No, you needed him inside you. Right now.
Seunghun, to his credit, recovered quickly. His fingers immediately tangled into your hair, holding you against him while he kissed you with equal urgency. He released a soft groan into your mouth when you gently rolled his nipples between your fingers.
“What’s this about?” He said against your lips. You savored the feeling of his heated skin, the sweat beneath your palms, as you trailed your hands down his body. You bit his bottom lip at the same time you softly squeezed him through his pants.
Seunghun moaned softly. You dropped to your knees in front of him, so painfully turned on that you felt like you might burst into flames.
His fingertips massaged your scalp as you hastily undid his pants, Seunghun’s hips already thrusting gently as he sought some degree of friction. Pleasure coursed through you in a burning wave when you discovered he was already hard, precum beading at the head of his cock.
You pumped him slowly in your hand as you gazed up at him through your eyelashes. Faint pink dusted his cheeks as he met your eyes and he whimpered breathily when you kissed his tip.
“What on earth made you like this?” Seunghun’s words were more of a drawn-out moan as you took him into your mouth, immediately hollowing your cheeks and sucking hard.
You removed him briefly to respond simply, “You.”
Seunghun’s breathing turned to shallow pants when you swirled your tongue around the head of his cock. You took him completely down your throat this time, forcibly ignoring your gag reflex in your haste to make him cum.
He hissed as you swallowed around him. The noises Seunghun made only added fuel to the wildfire blazing inside you—the pretty sounds your boyfriend rewarded you with were some of your favorite in the world.
“Shit—ah, I don’t, I’m—” Seunghun’s hands fisted in your hair, guiding your head along his cock as you swallowed again. You ignored the tears gathering at the corners of your eyes as Seunghun used your mouth, recklessly chasing his orgasm with enthusiasm that had you clenching around nothing.
Without warning, he pushed you away.
You had no time to protest his sudden movement before you were propped on the counter, your positions switched too fast to process.
Seunghun’s mouth immediately latched onto your throat, sucking your too-warm skin hard enough to bruise. You moaned, so eager to be filled that you didn’t care to check your volume. Jinyoung’s stage was drawing to a close—you were on borrowed time.
“God, you’re so desperate for me, baby.” Seunghun trailed wet kisses across your collarbones until he reached the other side of your throat, leaving hickies in his wake. “My dancing turned you on that much?”
You didn’t bother responding with words. You shoved your panties down your legs at the same time you hiked your dress up, exposing your dripping center to him. Seunghun groaned low in his throat and, almost like he couldn’t help himself, he dragged two fingers through your slick.
That first touch sent lightning streaking through your veins. You locked your legs around Seunghun’s waist and tugged him closer as he stepped hastily out of his pants.
“Hun, play later.”
The desperation in your voice must have worked, because Seunghun wasted no time guiding the head of his cock through your folds, coating it with your arousal. And when he finally fitted himself into your entrance, pushing in only an inch, you both gasped at the sensation.
The initial stretch of him was always incredible. His body was perfectly proportioned for yours, and moments like this only proved that belief.
He slammed into you without warning, earning a sharp cry from your lips. Then he began to move, and you knew you wouldn’t last a minute.
The hard pace he set had your walls clamping down hard around him with every brush to your g-spot. Seunghun’s fingers dug into your hipbones, his strong hands using your body for support as he thrusted into you.
You watched him through hooded eyes, hardly able to keep them open at all through the fog of lust clouding your mind. Seunghun’s teeth were fastened onto his bottom lip, his eyes locked on the place your bodies collided, over and over again.
If he had been sweaty before, it was nothing compared to now. Sweat glistened on his forehead, his neck, his abs—there was nothing in the world that could have convinced you to look away from him. Your hands found his toned waist, holding onto him for dear life as he fucked you senseless.
“Oh god—Seunghun, please, please—” You rambled on, your orgasm rising within you with record-breaking speed. You bit the back of your fist to silence your moans but Seunghun forced your hand away immediately.
“Don’t—ah—do that, I need to hear y-you, baby.” His words were broken by gasps as you continued to clench around his cock. Byounggon’s solo performance was beginning now, you could hear his voice through the speakers in the ceiling, but you didn’t care that Seunghun might be late returning to the stage.
If you didn’t cum right this second, you were in very real danger of combusting.
Your fingers found the harness still strapped to Seunghun’s chest. You grasped the leather so hard your knuckles strained as you used your grip to pull him closer. Seunghun’s tongue greedily dove into your mouth when you crushed your lips against his.
His thrusts turned sloppy, beginning to lose his rhythm as his high threatened to break over him.
“Come on, baby,” you moaned into his mouth. “Cum for me, please—”
When Seunghun’s fingers found your clit, rubbing frantic circles over it in time with the movement of his hips, it was the thing you needed to push you over the edge. You released a lewd moan as you came hard enough to see stars.
Your walls constricted around Seunghun’s cock, forcing his orgasm from him, as well. Seunghun’s eyes screwed shut as he groaned, his sweaty forehead falling against yours. You savored every twitch and throb of his cock inside you as he came, the sensations drawing out your orgasm to the point of pain.
You paid no mind to the odd sensation of Seunghun’s cock languidly fucking his cum back into you. Your breaths turned heavy, slower than before in your satisfaction, as you brushed his sweat-soaked hair from his eyes.
He grinned at you, the sparkle of mischief in his eyes drawing intense affection from deep within your chest.
“Sorry I acted like that,” you said sheepishly, smiling into the soft kiss he pressed to your lips. “I’m sure it’ll happen again.”
“I’ll wear this thing every damn day if it means we can do that again.” Seunghun pulled his softening cock from you at last, and you grimaced lightly at the overstimulation. He grabbed a clean rag from the pile on the counter and used it to gently clean you up, smiling smugly to himself all the while.
Byounggon’s stage was close to ending now.
You both seemed to realize this fact simultaneously and Seunghun’s eyes nearly popped out of his head at the shock. He was already naked—thanks to you—and you laughed as he haphazardly tore off the harness and shrugged on the muscle tee and jeans he was supposed to be wearing.
He planted another chaste kiss on your mouth before he half-fell through the dressing room door. Ever the gentleman, he slammed it behind him before anyone in the hallway could see your compromising position.
Alone, you grinned at your fucked-out reflection in the mirror across from you and made a note to keep the harness around after the show was done.
If you had anything to say about it, you would certainly need it.

the pact | 1 - jinyoung pov
Tumblr media
Jinyoung must have fallen and hit his head.
Temporary brain damage was the only excuse for the idiotic decision to dive head first into whatever this arrangement was. He was well aware that it could only end in catastrophic disaster, but he hadn’t been able to help himself.
When he saw you look so insecure standing in front of him, playing with the threads on your sleeves asking if he would sleep with you, he knew he couldn’t say no. All he wanted in that moment was to pull you into his arms and make sure you felt as beautiful as he’d always thought you were.
And when you settled on his lap and kissed him so gently, he knew he was a goner.
He’d been waiting for that kiss for nearly half of his life and a voice in the back of his head told him if he passed it up now, he would never get the chance again. If this was the only way he could have you, he’d accept it and make the most of it.
And he would make damn sure you remembered it.
Jinyoung’s hands traced your sides under your sweater, finding your skin just as soft as he’d imagined, curves in all of his favorite places that he’d write poems about if he was more of a writer than a reader.
The way you tasted, God, he couldn’t get enough. He could kiss you for hours right here, with your thighs on either side of his hips and your fingers looped into his hair. It didn’t even matter that his dick was already hard as a rock from a few swipes of your tongue.
He was an idiot for ever thinking he’d been over you in the first place.
One hand slipped down the slope of your thigh until his fingers pressed right in the middle, rubbing a tentative but firm circle against your clit through your leggings.
“Is this okay?” he asked, practically panting once he pulled from your lips, hoping that noise you’d just made was one of pleasure.
Just as he began to retract his hand, you grabbed his wrist and guided it back between your legs so that he could continue. If he wasn’t a goner before, he sure was now.
“Bedroom?” he asked after a minute, feeling a wet spot begin to form on the fabric of your leggings. He wondered if you always got turned on this fast or if maybe, just maybe, it was just for him.
Then somehow he was carrying you back to your bedroom, but not before pressing you into the wall in the hallway, scattering kisses across your neck and collarbone. It was a test of his willpower not to rip your leggings right down the middle and take you right there against the wall–not to mention your roommate and best friend was only one door away.
Once he was in your bedroom and you were stripping his shirt off, the reality of what was happening started to hit him.
Jinyoung only had sex with three women in his life, two in his freshman year of college and then Yeri. Nobody since then. He was fairly confident in his sexual abilities, but he didn’t know what you liked. With Yeri, he’d had five years to learn her preferences and what made her tick.
This couldn’t be bad. He couldn’t let you leave this bedroom disappointed or unsatisfied, otherwise he might just go walk into traffic at the closest busy intersection.
For a moment, he wondered what would have happened if he’d left early, or if Jackson had stayed to help clean instead. Had you only asked him because he was there? If so, could he really blame you? Jackson was likely the better candidate anyway, and he could say with confidence that his friend was not in love with you.
Jinyoung had never expected anything from you beyond your friendship, and he was more than happy to have it. But it made his stomach turn a bit thinking about his best friend’s hands exploring your body instead of his own, even if Jackson had more experience and would probably be way better at it.
“Seriously?” your voice broke through his anxious spiral as you ogled his abs, fingertips trailing across the firm muscles. “Have you always looked like this?”
He blushed like a preteen on their first date, covering it up with a scoff. “You know I like exercising. What did you expect?”
He was suddenly extremely grateful for every single morning he’d gotten up before the sun and dragged himself to the gym with Jackson. Until now, he hadn’t been too concerned about how his body looked, he’d just wanted a way to challenge himself.
But Jinyoung would be lying if he said it didn’t puff up his chest a bit when your eyes scanned his body in awe. Yeah, he’d definitely be keeping up his gym routine now.
“I don’t know. Now I’m a little scared to take your pants off, I mean, what have you got hiding there?”
If anyone else–literally, anyone else–had said this to him, he probably would have turned and walked out. But he liked the clumsy way you spoke without filters, even if it made him cringe at how ridiculous you sounded.
“Oh, god. Please never say that again.”
You giggled, eyes twinkling as you looked up at him, and he had to lean in to kiss you just to keep his heart from bursting straight through his rib cage.
****
Once it was all over and Jinyoung was making his way back out to his car, post-orgasm bliss long gone, he realized he may have made a huge mistake. He’d been too weak to deny his heart of what it had been wanting for a decade, and now he feared he had dug himself a hole he couldn’t get out of.
Jinyoung was screwed for life now, knowing how your fingernails felt digging into his shoulders and the incredible noises you made once you’d finally lost yourself to the pleasure. Jinyoung knew how you tasted and how you looked when you came, and he’d never be the same.
All of these things were so much better than he’d fantasized over the years, no matter how hard he’d tried not to. While he was with Yeri, he’d trained himself not to think about you like that, but he was ashamed to admit he’d failed on a few occasions.
Now, it would be nearly impossible to think of anything else besides your lips parted in ecstasy, murmuring his name, and how soft and pliant your breasts felt beneath his hands.
“Real smooth. How could this possibly go wrong?” he said to himself out loud, shaking his head at his own stupidity.
He’d have to take it back. Tomorrow, he’d go into the bookstore and apologize for taking advantage of you when you were vulnerable, and maybe then you’d be able to go back to normal. Just rewind, like it never happened.
It would be a hell of a lot easier for you than him, but he could do it. He had to.

Jinyoung stared at you without moving or reacting at all. Even his eyes didn’t move a bit, which would have been an indicator that he tried analysing you, but with him being like a living statue you had no clue.
The longer he stared at you the more unnerving it became. Still, you refused to budge now. Refused to take your question back. You were sure you had the right guy. Right? A shimmer of worry flared up inside of you. What if you just revealed you had been spared by an assassin to the wrong person? You could feel your heart pounding against your ribcage. All while your breathing became more and more shallow. This wasn’t good.
“You know”, Jinyoung suddenly spoke up, a hint of a smirk playing over his lips, “it’s said that curiosity killed the cat.”
For a second everything stopped. Everything except your mind running miles an hour. How were you supposed to respond now? Did he finally admit he was the assassin you saw? Was he trying to tell you to keep your questions to yourself or otherwise you might die? Was he threatening you just now? You broke the intense eye contact and stared at the floor between you two, trying to regain some of your confidence.
“But satisfaction brought it back”, you mumbled, still staring down at the ground.
“If you have nine lives that is.”
“The saying doesn’t include the nine lives of a cat,” you argued and finally looked back up, new determination flashing up inside your eyes. “So tell me!”
Jinyoung shrugged with his shoulders. He tried everything to keep his composure in front of you. Everything you did, everything you said, all of it took him off guard. You simply kept surprising him. The minute he thought he had the upper hand over you, you proved him to be wrong with a simple change of your aura. “Something about you is odd.”
You hadn’t even noticed how tense you were in his presence but upon hearing his reasoning you quite literally deflated. “You think I’m strange?”
“Most definitely.” Jinyoung nodded slowly, as if he tried to convince himself this was the sole reason for him sparing your life. “I’ll keep my eyes on you until I know what’s the deal with you.”
You snickered and stood up, walking back to the furniture in front of the sliding door. “Oh please, don’t flatter me.” You smiled softly before you turned around and quickly returned to your own room, closing the door right behind you again.
You placed your hand over your rapidly beating heart, cursing yourself mentally that his words actually had a flattering effect on you. Especially since you knew how dangerous the attention of an assassin towards you could be. You needed to keep a low profile at all costs - not just in front of him but in front of the other residents as well. Your only hope was that Jinyoung would keep quiet about your true reason for coming here. Otherwise you wouldn’t stand a chance.
After a restless night where you shot up every time you heard a noise, you really dreaded getting up in the morning. You felt more confident last night when you met all the residents but with all this time thinking, worry gnawed at your insides.
You worried a lot about your stay at the Baby Bird and especially if you’d ever get out alive. One misstep could be enough for them to figure out who you were. Yet you couldn’t just stay in your room and avoid them at all costs with no money to pay.
A deep sigh escaped your mouth as you got up and walked over to your door, opening it with a trembling hand. You suppressed the shriek building inside your throat when you nearly bumped into someone standing in front of your room. Your wide eyes wandered up to the face of Youngjae.
“You’re up early.” His eyes quickly scanned your face. “Did you sleep alright?”
You tried to muster a smile as well. “It’s always a challenge to sleep at a new place. Though I’m also used to waking up early.”
Youngjae nodded shortly before he grinned. “As long as you think the inn is comfortable. Are you ready to work? We need to prepare breakfast for the rest.” He gave you a quick hand motion to follow him and started walking down the hallway without looking back again.
You hurriedly shut your door and rushed after Youngjae, taking more of the house and surroundings in as the break of dawn casted more light onto it.
The two large buildings you already saw last night as well as the connecting hallway basically hid away a small but beautiful garden. A small pond nested in the middle of the garden, a few frogs croaking their good mornings with the sun steadily rising and waking nature.
“The guests must love it to take a stroll through the garden.”
“Most guests only stay for a night and continue their travels after breakfast the next morning”, Youngjae answered you, looking longingly over the garden as well. “I had hoped that guests would use the verandas to relax and gaze upon the pond while doing so.”
“Have you ever tried to advertise your inn in the nearby towns? I’m sure some newlyweds would love to spend their honeymoons here.”
The minute you said these words a loud boom blasted through the peaceful morning ambience.
You stopped in surprise, thankful you didn’t jump in fright, as you turned around and saw a dark cloud of smoke wafting into the air behind the back house.
Youngjae sighed deeply and rubbed his temples. “There are several reasons why one night guests might be better after all.”
You looked back at Youngjae, trying to stay as surprised and unknowingly as possible. Even though you thought it made sense that people shouldn’t stay too long around assassins. Though he didn’t need to know about your intel. “Is that normal?”
“Sadly, yes.” Youngjae continued his walk down towards the kitchen, making sure he would kick some ass later when you wouldn’t be around.
“What was that noise anyway?”
“Nothing to worry about.”
“Shouldn’t I know about it? If it’s normal I assume it happens rather often and shouldn’t I be prepared whenever something doesn’t go as planned?” You followed Youngjae but glanced back to the dissipating black cloud every other step, wanting to investigate it further.
You had smelt the gunpowder on two guys last night but you never operated with it yourself and it made you curious.
In your own curiosity you didn’t notice your choice of words, nor the look Youngjae gave you.
“Bambam and Yugyeom are playing around. That’s it.”
“What are they playing with?”
Youngjae sighed again, his initial suspicion fading upon your almost naive questioning. “I’m sure you’re going to learn that soon enough. Since you’re going to help around, you’re most likely to meet and interact with the others around here. And as long as I have known those two, they are definitely willing to show off to a pretty woman. Anyway, we need to hurry now.”
“Why?” You nearly had to run after Youngjae with his fast pace, confused by the change in his calm demeanour.
“They’re a pain in the butt without a proper breakfast this early in the morning.”
“Who?”
“All of them, except Bambam and Yugyeom since they woke them up.”
As if to underline Youngjae’s words you heard some yelling and screeching coming from the complex behind you. “Oh wow.”
You picked up your pace and jogged after Youngjae, sliding into the kitchen soon after. While Youngjae rushed around the room and grabbed all kinds of things, you stood rather helplessly in the middle of it.
“I had hoped to introduce you to everything around here more calmly and with a lot more time at hand but this has to do for now.” Youngjae pulled you up to the stove, quickly showing you how to operate it before he placed bacon and eggs next to you.
“If I don’t get some coffee into my system now, I’m going to kill someone!”
“We should just get rid of the firecrackers instead of someone random. I can’t stand them doing experiments in the middle of the night!”
“It’s the early morning, not the middle of the night.”
“Shut up Jackson! Don’t even try to be peaceful.”
You turned to the door, seeing two grumpy men and a giggling Jackson entering the kitchen. Your eyes immediately fell onto Jinyoung, who ran his hand through his hair in an annoyed manner.
“One morning of peace. That’s all I’m asking for.” Jinyoung sat down at the large table in the middle of the kitchen, resting his head on his hands. “And some coffee.”
The other two sat down as well, slumping down just as quickly as Jinyoung until Youngjae placed three cups of coffee on the table.
“Where’s Jaebeom?”
“Dealing with the pests”, Mark grumbled and clutched his cup with two hands, inhaling the freshly brewed scent. “They interrupted his morning meditation.”
“As if that meditation would help him get less impatient”, Jackson giggled and sipped at his coffee before he placed it down on the table and pushed the cup away. “Can I do my shake instead?” He looked at Youngjae with large puppy eyes.
You caught the disgusted look on all their faces, wondering what it was about but quickly continued cooking.
Soon enough you felt someone staring at you, making your skin prickle all over your back. You had a feeling who it was but refused to confirm it. Ever since the fluttering feeling from last night you wanted to avoid looking at him as much as possible.
Jinyoung had another idea though. As soon as his eyes landed on your form, his body basically moved on its own. He stood up with his cup of coffee and walked over to you, glancing over your shoulder. “Good morning, kitty.”
A shiver ran down your spine with his low voice and his breath tickling your ear. Even though your body reacted like that, you narrowed your eyes as you briefly glanced at him, showcasing his choice of greeting annoyed you.
“Do you like your eggs boiled, fried or scrambled?”
Jinyoung chuckled and leaned against the counter next to the stove. “This almost sounds like a threat.”
“What sounds like a threat?” Jackson turned around to Jinyoung, finally realising you were in the kitchen as well. “Oh! Hey! Good morning!”
You turned around to Jackson and smiled at him brightly, greeting him as well. “I have no idea.” You glanced at Jinyoung before looking back at Jackson. “I only asked him how he likes his eggs.”
Jackson frowned and turned his attention towards Jinyoung. “How is that question a threat? It’s way more considerate if you ask me. Nobody ever asked how I like my eggs! I only ever got the finished dish placed in front of me without even asking me whether I like it or not!”
“If you want pity, you aren’t getting that here.”
“Just like getting asked for my preferences! I don’t get that here either! Mark! Help me out! Jinyoung is mean again!”
“Don’t drag me into this.”
Jackson immediately whined more, literally begging Mark to take his side. They continued to bicker around until Youngjae shut them up with a stern look.
You silently continued to cook the bacon and the eggs, trying to ignore Jinyoung’s presence lingering around you. Which proved to be harder than you thought.
He brushed against you whenever he walked past you, placed tools and dishes you needed next to you before you were even able to ask Youngjae for them and simply stayed next to you the whole time.
Even after Jaebeom dragged Bambam and Yugyeom into the kitchen and all of them sat down at the table, Jinyoung stayed next to you, watching silently what you were doing.
You bit down on the inside of your cheek, trying to focus on anything but Jinyoung. You nearly exhaled in relief when he sat down at the table as well after you placed the bacon and eggs on it.
“Thanks for the food!”
You smiled, seeing how the younger ones immediately dove in and stacked dishes on their plates. It reminded you of little children eager to get the best candies.
“Aren’t you going to eat with us?” Yugyeom halted in his action and looked at you with big eyes, resulting in everyone turning towards you as well.
Youngjae, who already sat down at the end of the table, looked at you expectantly, indicating you were allowed to sit and eat with them.
Flustered, you came closer to the table and sat down on the empty seat between Jackson and Jinyoung. “Thank you.”
“Of course! We all eat together whenever we’re here! It’s boring to eat alone,” Jackson told you and immediately placed food on the plate in front of you. “Sometimes not all of us are here but that doesn’t mean the rest aren't eating together. So make sure to always show up whenever it’s time to eat and you’re at the Baby Bird.”
Jaebeom scoffed and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Don’t treat her like she’s one of us. This woman is gone as soon as her situation settles.”
“With your attitude, yeah, definitely. How about showing some hospitality? We could become friends in the long run.”
“In our line of work there is no such thing as friends.”
Jackson gasped loudly and grabbed onto your hand involuntarily as he stared at Jaebeom with an open mouth. “Aren’t we friends?”

pairing: im jaebum x reader  genre: angst, mature, smut  plot: you are the duff and guys use you to get close to your best friend, heather, and turns out Jaebum is no exception, but as time goes on the tension between you and your best friend’s unofficial boyfriend grows a/n: it’s been a while, my bad. but the next chapter is going to spicyyyyyyyy. not edited, hope yall enjoy it <3 stay safe out there <3
Your jaw dropped as the driver drove through the gates and up the long driveway to Park Jinyoung’s mansion. You knew he was rich, but you didn’t know he was this rich. But even more than the vast wealth the Parks had, you were more taken by the decorations that started from the gate all the way up to the main entrance.
You turned towards Jaebum who was watching you already. You felt the golden glow of the lights outside flow into the unlit car, and somehow you could see something glint in his dark eyes.
“It’s so beautiful, isn’t it Mr Kim?” you looked out the window again, to see the sparkling lights making a rendition of Van Gough’s starry night. You smiled to yourself a bit, “It might be a bit cliche and basic, but starry night is my favourite piece of artwork.”
The driver hummed in reply, saying something about taking a picture for his daughter.
Jaebum didn’t reply, and you didn’t mind. Him and you weren’t exactly on friendly speaking terms, well at least not in your books.
Since that day in the office, Jaebum had tried to talk to you numerous of times, but you avoided him. You didn’t want to hear his empty apologies or empty excuses or empty flirty, or whatever meaningless, empty words he wanted to say to you because he was feeling bored.
You didn’t even think he would pick you up today, but when you called up your driver, Jaebum had pulled up in his sleek black car. It was a moment that you seen in movies, where the male lead sees the female lead with her makeover for the first time, and he’s blown away.
But Im Jaebum wasn’t blown away. He wasn’t even fazed, if anything he found you so unappealing that he couldn’t bear to look at you for more than two seconds without looking away in pain.
Was he always such an asshole?
He probably was, but back then he was trying to charm you with his sweet words. Maybe, he was a sicko who liked girls who weren’t into him, and as soon as you showed him any interest he vanished into the night.
The car stopped at the red carpet laid out at the entrance, and you began to check your outfit and lipstick for the last time before reaching for the door. Your hand was reaching for the handle when the door swung open, and a hand reached in for you.
You placed your hand in theirs, and carefully got out of the car.
You stepped out to find yourself chest to chest with Jaebum. His fingers gripping onto your fingers as you stared up at him.
You cleared your throat and began taking a step away from him, when he reached out and pulled your body against his by your waist. Your hands laid flat against his chest, the black material feeling rich on your skin. HIs dark eyes drifted to your lips, before they looked away purposefully.
You turned around to find the car driving off behind you that you were about to bump into. You looked up at Jaebum, your cheeks tainting pink, “Thanks.”
“Watch where you’re going,” was all he replied, as he let you go.
Your heart once again sank at the lack of endearment, but you ignored it and adjusted the dress before you began following Jaebum into the mansion.
Jaebum was instantly surrounded by people. People lining up around him, trying to play it off as they waited for their turns for introductions. You were right next to Jaebum, introducing him to everyone.
The first hour was spent just like that, making introductions and standing next to Jaebum and pretending like you were invisible. The other important people only gave you a passing glance before looking away, no one stared for too long. You weren’t worth their time.
You didn’t mind though.
You enjoyed the architecture of the building and the artworks hanging around the hall. This must have really been a castle at some point you concluded after an hour of staring at the walls. You wondered which kind of ruler lived here before, but you knew for certain whoever it was wasn’t a good person; no in power ever is.
Jaebum and you had drifted away about fifteen minutes ago, but you kept an eye out for him. He was currently taking to Paul from work, so you thought he was in safe hands. You took another mini-sausage roll before washing it down with another glass of expensive champagne.
You didn’t like that taste even though it was exquisite. All it did was remind you of the night Jinyoung engaged to that woman in front of you, after telling you he loved you a few hours ago.
“I finally found you,” a deep voice spoke behind you. His voice fell over you like velvet, and you struggled to breath.
You turned around, already annoyed, “What are you doing here, Jinyoung?”
“You’re casual and feisty today,” he chucked, moving to stand next to you. He picked up a mini-sausage and popped it into his mouth, before waving a hand around, “This is my party, incase you’ve forgotten, y/n.”
You snorted, “How can I forget with this champagne? Tell me, was this your favourite before you chose her or did it happen after?”
“Woah,” Jinyoung tried to take the glass from you, but you moved it out of his reach, “How many of those have you had?”
“None of your business,” you gave him a straight smile. “None of these people are drinking anything anyway. And I needed a drink, it’s just been so hard lately.”
You leaned your head on his shoulder, but straightened your spine right away, “I’m not drunk, Jinyoung. I just don’t have the energy to fight or pretend, at least not with you, not tonight.”
“I don’t know if that is a compliment or not,” Jinyoung clicked his tongue, playfully. “I kind of like it when you fight with me.”
“God, you’re such a perv, Jinyoung,” you groaned, and he laughed.
“Come on,” he said, holding out his hand and gesturing to the dance floor. “Dance with me?”
“No, thanks.”
“Why not?”
“Are you sure you want to dance with me?” You asked him, with a knowing look. “I know this is a party, but I am still just an assistant here. Are you sure your reputation won’t hurt from dancing with someone like me? I’m not made of money like you, Jinyoung.”
“Beauty and wealth are both welcomed here, y/n,” Jinyoung took your hand in his, “And you have a wealth of beauty, my dear.”
He brought your hand to his face, his lips brushing over your knuckles.
“Oh, right,” you chuckled, your heart sinking slightly. “You think I am pretty.”
Your gaze went to Im Jaebum who didn’t spare you a single glance. Your eyes fell on the girl he was talking to, and you couldn’t help but notice how different she was to you. You couldn’t but notice how different Jaebum looked talking to her; kind and well-mannered.
“I’ve always found you beautiful, y/n,” Jinyoung said, drawing your attention back to him. “That’s why I was drawn to you in the beginning, and when I got to know you... well, I guess that was the end of me.”
You laughed lightly as you placed your hand on his shoulder, and the other in his hand. His hands rested on the curve of your clothed hip.
“But today,” he smiled at you, “You looked absolutely gorgeous.”
“Don’t exaggerate, Jinyoung. If you were so taken by me,” you laughed, teasingly, giving him a look. You continued your words turning sour, “You would’ve chosen me.”
“You know how things were back then, y/n,” Jinyoung sighed, he closed his eyes to take a deep breath. He opened them to stare into yours with so much emotion, you couldn’t breathe.
“I looked for you, you know,” he spoke over the music. You couldn’t blink or breath as you stared at Jinyoung. His brows creased as if he was rethinking a painful event. “After I decided to end the engagement... after I broke it off, I looked for you. I searched for you, but I couldn’t find you anywhere.”
“I- I went back home,” you whispered. You saw yourself laying in a pool of your vomit and urine, and your mother and father crying around your limp body. “I couldn’t stay here. Everyone was talking about you... it was too much.”
“Y/n,” Jinyoung said, softly. You looked up to meet his gaze. “It’s nice to have you back. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.”
“Jinyoung-”
“May I cut in?”
“Always interrupting us, isn’t he, y/n?”
You turned to find Jaebum glaring holes into Jinyoung’s head.
“What if I say no?” Jinyoung pouted, teasingly. Jaebum sighed, his patience running thin. You looked around to see people already turning this way.
“Stop it,” you gritted through your teeth at the both of the them, your lips holding a smile. “People are starting to look.”
“I’ll dance with him for a bit,” you smiled at Jinyoung, “Thank you Jinyoung.”
Jinyoung smiled back at you before giving you a cheeky wink. You chuckled watching him walk away.
“You both seem closer than last time,” Jaebum said from behind you. You shrugged stepping closer to him placing a hand on his shoulder and the other in his hand. You were holding Jinyoung the same way a few moments ago, but somehow this felt different.
The soft velvet of his jacket, the heat of his skin, the short hair tickling your fingertips at the nape of his neck. It was all somehow more intense, more intimate.
Jaebum’s warm hands wrapped around yours as he took another step closer towards you. HIs other hand rested on your waist, pulling you in closer as it rested on the small of your back. His thumb caressed the exposed skin from your dress and you drew in a sharp breath.
You didn’t say anything as you looked up at him. His dark eyes bore into yours, his lips drawn and tight. His jaw clenched and sharp, his black eyelashes gently fluttering across his cheekbones.
He was beautiful.
He was a sin in this all black suit made to precision for him. His hair was styled in-between completely swept back and lazy natural. His lips were rosy pink, and even without his lip-ring you wanted to taste them between your lips.
You leaned closer to him. HIs thumb gently caressing your back, electricity dancing up your spine making your head spin. You welcomed his minty breath falling over your lips, as your eyes fell to his lips. And to his neck, watching as he swallowed nervously. Your gaze fluttered up to meet his eyes fixed on your face.
You looked away from him feeling your cheeks flush, “Are you having a good time tonight, sir?”
Jaebum only hummed in reply, his dark eyes still trained on you.
Your eyes met his intense gaze for a moment before looking away instantly, “It’s a beautiful place, isn’t it?”
“Yes, it is,” Jaebum said. You didn’t say anything more and bit your lip wondering if you should continue to dance with him or excuse yourself.
You looked up at Jaebum, your hands letting go off him.
Jaebum’s hand held yours tighter as he pulled you in closer by your waist. Your front was completely pressed against him now, and your body shivered as he leaned his lips close to your ear.
You felt his warm breath caress the slope of your neck, and you closed your eyes letting the feeling sink deep within your bones.
Jaebum drew his lips higher, his softness brushing against the shell of your ear as he whispered, “Thank you for everything, y/n.”
You remained like that for a moment. Soaking in his presence, his heat, his touch, his breath, him somewhere deep inside your heart, and then you leaned back.
“Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Mr Im,” you smiled up at him.
Jaebum stared at you with an unreadable expression as his lips parted.
“You must be glad you’ll be getting a proper secretary now,” you laughed, but there was no humour between you two.
“I might not stay.”
“I know,” you nodded, “But if you do, I think it’ll be the biggest win for the company.”
Jaebum might be an asshole, a player; a complete fuckboy. But he was also hardworking, intelligent and gave his all into his work and accomplished a lot within the last three months you were working with him.
“Loosing you is probably the biggest loss,” he said, pausing for a moment. “For me.”
“I’m sure there are more qualified then me for this job.”
“But I only want you, y/n.”
You breath got caught at his words. Your wide eyes met his that stared at you as if you were the stars and the moon. As if once again you were presented to him as impossible puzzle, and he wanted to get lost in trying to solve you.
He moved in closer, and lowered your gaze to avoid his heated ones.
Jaebum lifted his hand from your waist. His fingertips brushed your cheeks with the slightest touch as he whispered, “You look beautiful, y/n.”
“Jaebum, stop it.” You began moving out of his arms, but he pulled you back in. His fingers digging into your waist as he held you steady in front of him.
“Why?” His fevered breath fell over your face as you looked up at him. His eyes were wild with darkness, but it didn’t scare you. It only made you mad, so terribly horribly mad.
“Why?” You spat, quietly. Your chest was heaving as you tried to control the anger that had been swelling inside you over the past month.
“Don’t you think we’re past these little games of yours?” You sneered up at him. Your hand on his shoulder tightened as you tried to control yourself. “We already know I fell for it. Do you wanna see if I’ll fall for it again after being rejected once?”
Jaebum didn’t say anything so you snorted. The sneer on your dark lips growing as you looked down your nose at him, “I won’t let you lead me on again, only to make a fool of me like that. I’m not going to play this sick game of yours.”
Jaebum’s fingers bit harder into your waist making you gasp as he pulled you flush against him. HIs nose almost brushed against yours, as he breathed harshly, “A game? You think all of this was a game for me?”
“What else could it be?” You snickered at him, both your hands flattening on his shoulder, trying to push him away with attracting any attention. But he wouldn’t budge a centimetre. You gritted through your teeth as you glared up at him, “Why else would you pretend to be into me? Play with me like that?”
Play with my feelings like that?
Jaebum’s hands rested on your exposed back as he held you steady against him. His jaw clenched, his eyes furious as he tried to control his breathing.
“It wasn’t a game for me.”
You ignored his words.
“Then what was it?” You bit back. “You made it seem like you felt the same way only to reject me when I-”
“I didn’t reject you,” Jaebum cut you off.
You began laughing mockingly, and Jaebum shook you slightly to make you look at him.
You didn’t say anything and looked up at him, your lips parted in surprise.
“Do you,” Jaebum whispered, leaning in closer to you as he leaned his forehead against yours. His eyes stirring golden as they stared into yours, his fingertips softly dancing on your back, causing fire to dance through your vines. “have any idea how crazy you make me, y/n?”
Suddenly it was all too much. His touch, the way he was looking at you, the things he was saying. The lights shining down upon you two, the chattering of people around you. It all became to loud too much. Your heart beat loudly in your ear as you took a step away from him.
Jaebum looked at you, expectantly. You stared him, unable to hear a single bought. The only thing you could hear was your heart beating thumping loudly in your ear.
Your lips parted, you were going to say something. You weren’t sure what. Jaebum’s gaze fell to your lips, waiting for you to the say the words. You took another step back, not saying a single word.
The smile on Jaebum’s lips dropped as your brows creased as a sudden panic before settling in your chest. You needed to get away.
“I-” you began.
“Y/n!” You turned to saw a fury of red first, and then her smiling face as she jumped in front of you. “I didn’t know you were coming here.”
Heather turned to Jaebum, placing a kiss on his cheek. His eyes remained on you, his face void of any emotions.
Heather smiled at you, “Go away, JB. I won't let you steal my best friend.”
//
You were next to Heather the rest of the night, but your eyes still followed the man in the black suit. His sharp eyes met yours throughout the night, but every time you looked away.
You were looking at him once again. There was something pleasant about his lips when he talked, and the way those whiskers appeared on his cheeks when he would smile or laugh brightly. You couldn’t look away from him no matter how hard you tried.
You watched him talk to Park Jinyoung with a frown on his face, that deepened when Jinyoung looked your way and winked. His hard glaze travelled to you, as his lips drew into a straight line.
You looked away once again, your cheeks on fire.
“Are you okay?” Heather asked. You looked towards her to find her following your gaze to the pair of males.
“Mhmm,” you nodded, taking a sip of the champagne.
You watched Heather take a sip too, but you noticed that knowing smile on her lips.
This was all too dangerous.

"Please tell me you didn't just eat that popcorn that fell into your bra..." Jinyoung sighed as he heard you munch again after a long time. He sat in his favorite armchair and didn't bother to look at you. The movie was more interesting.
"Shut up I can’t hear it now."
One would say that after three years of dating and living together, you two would stop bickering. But that was the dynamics of your relationship, and you still kinda enjoyed it this way. But sometimes he got on your nerves with his lecturing.
The movie ended and Jinyoung got up to stretch and to put the dirty dishes in the sink.
"Y'know, it was really goo-"
"It was bullshit." you cut him off.
You scrolled through your phone and didn't really pay attention to him when he came back to look at you with his 'what did you just say?' face.
"Come again?"
"I said it was bullshit. It was absolutely unrealistic during the sex scenes," you explained and sighed like him.
He frowned and sat down, now actually interested to hear your thoughts "What do you mean?"
"I mean c'mon! One could never make woman cum without touching her clit - when they were together for such a short time! You couldn't do that and we’ve known each other for quite some time now!"
You were so serious, and didn't really see the shadow of deep shock that flew over his face. He blinked a few times in disbelief. "Do you really think that?"
Putting the phone down you looked at him "Yes, it's really hard - maybe even physically impossible for a woman to cum completely without touching her clit. It's the most ac-"
"Wait," he stopped you, picking up his words and thinking your statement through "is this a bet?" His eyes pinned at your face.
You had to laugh - this was more of a "scientific" discussion for you and here he was dirty minded as usual thinking you're teasing him.
"I'm just saying,-"
"Is this a bet?" he repeated, voice lower. Now it was you blinking quickly to adjust. When he said it out loud you were even more sure - it is impossible.
"What would be the prize for the winner?" you narrowed eyes suspiciously. You knew he was able to pull your leg all the time.
"Anything." he said deadly serious.
"Anything?"
"Anything. Completely free options. If I don't make you cum without touching your clit you can make me do anything you want. One time. Make me go up on stage and do stand-up comedy, make me say something stupid in front of your mother. Whatever you say."
"And if you do make me cum?"
His expression darkened, a low-key sadistic smile flitting across his face. "Anything as well."
You laughed again, shaking your head "This is too.. too much you. I don't trust you."
"What? Whyy?" he looked at you like a surprised puppy with his big round eyes.
"Because!" you exclaimed and got up, almost shoving him off the couch. He followed you with his eyes and regained confident expression. He already knew you're in.
"Because games like these never end up in my favour!"
"Well, if it won’t end up in your favour now, I don't know when it will!" he laughed and left to take a shower. Jinyoung was well aware to give you some space to consider his proposal after presenting you a new idea or assumption.
While he was showering, you had a moment to consider your options - either way you were going to have some solid sex. And that was all you needed to head to the bathroom and lean on the shower door.
"Alright."
Jinyoung laughed and looked to where he heard your voice "So is this official?"
"Yes." you sighed, almost like he pushed you into doing it. Which he did. In his own way. "It is a bet. If you won't make me cum without touching my clit-"
"But I can be inside." he demanded
"Of course, that's not the point. Apart from touching my clit you can do whateve-"
"Careful with your words," he smirked.
"You can do almost whatever might help you make me cum." you finished strongly.
The water stopped. A muscular torso appeared next to your face and with it Jinyoung's fresh scent combined with the soap.
He looked at you, satisfaction written all over his face and dried his hair like nothing happened. Continuing to your bedroom he put the towel down and raised his voice as if he was looking for you "Are you coming?"
You walked to the room like if you were about to do a job interview, even your stomach was slightly squirming with excitement and partly with nervousness.
Jinyoung was busy adjusting the light and pulling down the curtains.
"So," his voice was low and muted, intimidating.
"I don't know what game are you playing...you simply cannot win this." you laughed and started to unbutton your shirt.
"Ah-," he stopped you before pointing at your hands – you were obviously stealing his job "Don't." his eyes found yours and he tilted his head a bit "But do repeat what you just said. C'mon."
You laughed as he got near you and slowly touched your arm with index finger sending a shiver down your spine "I said you won't make me cum."
"That's it." he whispered to himself.
You felt his body behind you, heard his breath, your hair swinging in its rhythm. By stopping you from undressing yourself he was showing you who’s in charge. You wanted to stay strong, not willing to submit to his methods you knew all too well. Something in Jinyoung’s demeanour changed, he’s going to outperform himself today you were sure of it. He's going to come up with something new, trying out stuff he always wanted to but never did. And most importantly - he’s going to take advantage of this.
His fingers moved inch by inch up to meet the inner elbow and to the hips.
"Say it again." he muttered through gritted teeth, daring you. As if searching for reasons to punish you. His warm hand roughly pushed the shirt fabric aside, forcing its way between the buttons by stealth.
"I said you can't make me cum." you said clearly, but it was undermined by the breathless gasp that escaped your mouth unwillingly. At that very moment, his hand undid the buttons and your shirt landed next to your ankles like snake's skin.
Despite the intensity he barely touched you yet.
His arm rested on your shoulder and with tips of his fingers he drew over your chest up to the collar bone. His face was so close to your ear you heard every breath and even movements of his tongue in his mouth.
The goosebumps raised across your skin excited him so much, but he kept his head clear. He knew exactly what to focus on. Having a mental list of your erogenous zones he needed to use, and saving few new ones to try out. He dug his face in your hair and kissed you below your ear. Your body reacted faster than you wanted. You crumbled into him as if he pushed some button, your knees bending a bit. But he didn't want it to be this fast.
He bit your earlobe in warning.
Surprised by his nip, your hand went up for revenge but his was quicker, smacking yours away like annoying insect.
Sliding his palms down to your panties he slowly pulled down. You felt a sudden gust of coldness as he kneeled down and your back were left unprotected. His heart started to beat faster as your panties revealed your bum. He couldn’t stop himself from pressing his lips on your left butt cheek. It took you by surprise – he never was this gentle. Still only with the tips of his fingers on your sides, he got up. Parting your hair and putting them on one side he uncovered his most favorite part of your body – the nape of your neck.
He pushed you to the bed.
Enough of warming up.
"However bad it's going to be..." his voice was dark, wild and almost aggressive because of the long silence "Rule is- you can't touch your clit either." he said locking eyes with you.
"It's either me making you cum," he continued and leaned on his elbows above you, only inches above your face, "or nothing." you opened your mouth to kiss back, but he pulled away. Pressing lips on your neck and going down, between your breasts, your belly.
You felt yourself getting wett, heat pooling in anticipation.
The thing is - it was usually never this slow - Jinyoung was more of a rough, fierce sex type. He didn't need any time to prep and wasn't really a fan of foreplay. Lube was always there to fix everything.
But now- he was careful, sensual, paying attention to details - dancing with his fingers on the inner side of your knee. You almost forgot this place was so sensitive. He harmonized the feeling with his lips on your thigh, temptingly close to the clit.
Closing your eyes you didn't watch what he's doing - just bathed yourself in the feelings.
He was already almost rock hard, given the sight of you closing your eyes with pleasure. He had to focus on the edge of his limits. It was so tempting to imprison you in his arms, to thrust into you, deeply and fully.
But a bet is a bet, and he had his plan.
You felt like you were ready for him, so much so you unknowingly spread apart more. His hand moved your leg up to rest on his hips, facing you again. Still not opening your eyes, you turned your head a bit to make him space for more neck kisses.
As his hands pulled yours up above your head, his fingers intertwined with yours.
Jinyoung left the best for last – he finally pressed his body fully on you, and inch by inch dived in you. You heard him smirk as he found it amusing how easily he could slide in as you were already so wet and open for him.
He moved slowly. Not just because he knew it’s stimulating, but because he focused on your nipples. He knew you were sensitive, and it helped him on many occasions to make you cum. Kissing, licking and carefully biting them he took you on the edge of pain and pleasure. Your fingers found his hair and you wanted to pull it, to participate somehow. But he was the leader here and immediately put your hands back in place – above your head.
It was all so good.
His breath so close to your neck, the heat from his body. The precision he moved with, how much attention he paid to you. How he held your jaw like he needed it to breathe.
But something was missing, the tension just kept cumulating and piling up, peak nowhere in near sight. You could even feel yourself stretching your arm up, as if to grab the orgasm that was just inches away.
But apparently your other hand headed down again because Jinyoung smacked it angrily "Don't even try it." thrusting in over and over.
"Fuck the bet, I want-"
"Rules!" he hissed as his movements quickened. Placing hand on the concave of your neck and shoulders, he squeezed a bit as a warning.
You bit your lip in frustration and pleasure. He bend down and kissed your jaw, following with his mouth parting yours, being dominant even now. Leaving you only to wait for his next move. Pulse racing, he repeatedly broke the kiss to look at you, to burn this exact picture of you into his mind.
Feeling him inside, holding your hand up, your breasts on his chest... everything felt like a flash of a fire, but the flame didn't appear. You almost fell his heart beating in your own veins.
He was close, so close.
Face next to yours, his lips found the spot below your ear again, biting the earlobe.
Breathing faster you knew it was coming.
Was he right? Can he do that? C'mon just a bit more- it's so close.
But he suddenly stopped moving, head buried in your hair heavily breathing. You tried to keep up with the wave of pleasure that was inside of you, waiting to be released, you tried so hard to slide it on your own. But it was gone. He was gone, leaving you in the water searching for a way out.
As he rolled down from you letting you alone with the helplessness and frustration he propped on one hand and looked at you "You were right." he caught his breath and put away lock of hair from your neck.
"You did it on purpose! You knew I was close!" you cried out loudly, hands rubbing your face.
"Yes." he admitted, glad you revealed the truth.
Looking directly at you like a teacher wanting his answer he asked "Lesson?"
After the minute of silence you gave to spite him, you felt a quick, light smack on your thigh. "Never. Try me out again."

author’s note: happy birthday to the love of my life 💕💕
Tumblr media
From a dim-lighted corner, soft music plays, filling the silence of the library. You turn another page of your comfort book, leaning against the arm of the couch with a blanket wrap around your frame.
It’s an ungodly hour of the night, but you can’t bring yourself to sleep. You can say that this has been a regular occurrence ever since your fiancé had gone off to war a year ago. There was still no news from the frontline, and it has plagued your thoughts day and night. So, you opt to distract yourself with your comfort book.
The silence is then disrupted by the library’s door swinging open. It must be one of the servants who insisted on brewing you tea earlier.
“Here’s your tea.”
Your posture stiffens at the familiar voice. Dropping your book, you turn to look at the figure who’s placing your tea on the coffee table with a handsome smile.
And there stands your fiancé.
Instantly, you scramble off the couch, leaving your book and blanket in a messy heap as you run up to him. Jinyoung opens his arms wide, letting out a small ‘oof’ at the impact of your hug and wraps his arms tight around you as if it’s his lifeline.
A whole year after not seeing each other and not knowing if he’s still alive nearly drove you mad. Each passing day torments you with the feeling of helplessness—not being able to do anything but wait.
You are full-on sobbing for quite a while as he keeps his arms around you, cradling your head against him while his other hand rubs down your back comfortingly. After you calm down, you pull away slightly with tears still cascading down your face.
“Dance with me,” he says softly, wiping the tears on your cheeks.
To a stranger, the request might seem odd. But to you, it’s a way to ask the other to stay close, just relishing each other’s presence.
“Step closer to me.”
You take a reluctant step forward, and Jinyoung chuckles at your hesitance. His arm around your waist pulls you close to him while he clasps your other hand in his. He places a kiss on your temple, and a shaky breath passes your lips, leaning your forehead against the junction where his neck meets his shoulder. Slowly, he leads you and your steps moves in sync with his, swaying to the soft music you played to accompany your reading.
Pursing your lips, your hand tightens on him as if affirming that his presence is real—not a mere figment of your imagination or dream.
“I’ve really missed you,” he murmurs close to your ear. “There wasn’t a day in the frontline that I stopped thinking of you.”
“I’ve missed you too,” you manage to say, swallowing a lump down your throat. You lift your face to look at the smiling prince, whose eyes regard you with so much love and adoration as the need to cry arises within you again.
“I’m here now, my love.” He places a kiss on your forehead then cups your face gently. “Just look at me. Forget everything else.”
With a slight nod, you wrap your arms around his waist while his around your shoulders. You breathe in his calming scent and savour his familiar warmth.
The days spent in distress and the cold nights in restlessness have finally come to an end. Now, the solacing warmth replaces them as your lover finally returns into your arms.

hurts so good | seven
summary: growing up with Park Jinyoung was never easy and things are about to get worse when you’ve been asked to marry him
one | two | three | four | five | six | seven | eight | nine | ten | eleven | twelve - final |
"I haven’t been in here since university,” you reminisced as you walked around the wine cellar.
“Yeah, I don’t let many people down here anymore. It’s my secret layer,” he joked while pouring you a glass of wine.
“I remember hiding down here every time my dad and I would fight and every time Jinyoung was mean to me.”
“Jinyoung will always be an ass,” Jaebum said, clinking his glass against yours.
“Tell me about it,” you mumbled not so softly as you followed him to the couch.
“So tell me why you blew up in his face today? You were always so good at being oblivious,” he smirked, taking a sip of his wine.
“Are you trying to upset me?” you asked rhetorically. “I never knew about the other women until I saw those photos. I knew he didn’t love me, but I never thought he would cheat on me.”
“What did you think was going to happen, marrying someone you didn’t love?”
You stared at Jaebum, downing your drink. “Would it have been different if it was you?”
It was time to make your move.
He gave you a weak smile, turning to his side to face you. “Yes,” he replied, firmly. You turned to face him, inching closer to his face.
“Why didn’t you ask me then?”
“Do you know why Jinyoung and I never got along?” he deflected. You nodded. “Do you know the real reason?” he inched towards your face.
“You’re obviously dying to tell me. Spit it out,” you demanded.
Jaebum gulped his drink down before setting the empty glass on the table. “Because I love you,” he confessed.
You froze at his words. Jaebum was always nice to you and you knew he cared about you very much. You just never imagined that he loved you all this time.
“Surprised?” he chuckled.
“I-I,” you stuttered.
“You always loved Jinyoung. What was I supposed to do?” It was as if you forgot how to speak. Jaebum reaches for your cheek, stroking it lightly with his thumb. He scans your face from top to bottom. “Even if I told you, would it have made a difference? Would you have changed your mind?”
“You were already married to Chaewon,” you whispered.
“I guess not,” he said before taking his hand off your cheek. You grabbed his hand and pulled him in for a hug.
“I didn’t know,” you whispered again. “I really didn’t.”
Jaebum lets out a light chuckle while stroking your head. “I never told you. It’s not your fault.”
You pulled away from him slightly with your forehead on his. “I know if I married you, I would’ve been happy.”
“I would’ve loved you to the moon and back. We would’ve been happy,” he said, stroking your cheek again. “We might even have children,” Jaebum said inching towards your face. He traces his thumb across your lips. “We’d make pretty children, don’t you think?”
You laughed, “I don’t think I’ll ever have children. Jinyoung won’t even touch me.”
“What a waste,” he flirted while staring at your lips. “He’s missing out,” Jaebum cooed, leaning in to kiss your lips.
You pulled back, lightly pushing him away with your hands. “We could say all these things but it will never happen,” you explained to him. “I’m sorry,” you whispered.
Jaebum shakes his head, “No, I understand.”
“No, you don’t. I was mad at Jinyoung and I wanted to use you to get back at him. But I could never use you and hurt Chaewon. She loves you so much. She’s pregnant with your child.”
“I’m not mad. Use me,” he tells you. “Use me,” he repeated.
You gave him a weak smile before getting up and leaving.
“What are you doing?” You looked up from the floor and towards the voice. It was Jinyoung. “What are you doing in Jae’s wine cellar?”
“You don’t tell me everything you do so why should I?” you snapped, attempting to walk past him. He stops in front of you. “Yes, I was with your brother down there. Do you have a problem?”
“What were you doing?” he grunted. You ignored his question and walked straight to your room. “I asked you a question!”
“And I’m supposed to be the obedient little wife and listen to you?”
“Yes!”
“Bullshit,” you spatted. “Your brother and I were having a drink downstairs, talking about how perfect it would be if I married him instead of you,” you provoked, inching closer to him. “I would’ve been happy,” you ridiculed.
“You would’ve been married to a man that can’t take his own father’s name. You’ll just be mooching off my family like your dad always did.”
You lifted your hand up, on the verge to slap him across his face. Jinyoung grabs your wrist, stopping you from slapping him and pushes you onto the bed.
“I own you,” he said getting closer to you.
You let out a loud laugh. “You’re wrong. Your brother owns me now,” you lied.  You could see Jinyoung’s face turn red. He was angry. You knew nothing would piss him off more than him knowing that you’ve been with his brother - everything was a competition to him; even you.
Jinyoung climbs onto of you as you struggled to push him off. “You’re mine,” he repeats before leaning down to kiss you. You tried to push him off but he was too strong. You felt his lips on your neck.
“Jinyoung, stop!” you screamed.
“Why? Don’t you want this?” he smirked. “Haven’t you been dying for me to touch you?” Jinyoung asked rhetorically. His hand inches up your dress and towards your panties. “Come on baby,” he tried to convince.
“Not like this,” you tell him.
“Like how then? All my women like it like this,” he smirked, leaning down to kiss you. “You are my woman, aren’t you?”
This time you let him. You wanted him to know that you could give him what those other women gave him and that you were a hundred times better than them. You wanted him to regret not loving you.
You kissed Jinyoung back, catching him off guard. He pulls you closer to his body as he deepened the kiss. You felt his tongue slip in your mouth. Besides the little peck he gave you on your wedding day, he’s never kissed you.
Jinyoung slowly pulls out of you and falls in bed next to you. His chest heaving up and down. You turned to your side to face him. His eyes were shut, arms behind his head propping himself up slightly. He licked his dry lips as you watched him catch his breath. You inched closer to him, attempting to lay your head on his sweaty chest. Jinyoung immediately pushes you away, sitting up in bed. He pulled the comforter off his lower body before hurrying to put his clothes on.
“W-where are you going?” you stuttered, hugging the blanket over your chest.
“Come on, Y/N. You don’t expect me to stay.”
“This is your bed. I’m your wife,” you reminded him.
He smirks at you, pulling his boxers up. “You want to be like all the other women, right?” He leans down towards your face, grabbing a hold of your cheeks in his hand. “I never stay after sex.” He pushes you away from him before walking out.
You quickly got dressed and followed Jinyoung. You wanted to know where he was going. Who was he seeing that was so important that he had to leave you?
You swore for a second you felt that he genuinely cared for you; loved you.
“What’s wrong?” Jaebum asked, seeing you rush out of your room.
“Jinyoung just left. I need to know where he’s going.”
“Why do you need to see when you know where he’s going?” You didn’t know how to respond to Jaebum because you knew he was right. You knew where he was going so why hurt yourself even more by seeing yourself. “Come on,” Jaebum said dragging you to his car. The both of you followed Jinyoung’s car to a bar downtown. Jaebum parks his car across the street where the bar was. “Do you want to go inside?”
“No...” you said hesitantly. “I just want to wait here.”
“It’s been an hour, Y/N. Just go inside and see for yourself.” You don’t respond to him. Your eyes were glued to the door, afraid that if you looked away you’d miss him. “Y/N, cut your losses while you can!” Jaebum tries to persuade.
“There he is!” you shouted. There he was - clearly drunk. But what you didn’t expect was the women he was with; Jisoo. He had his arms around her and she was helping him inside a cab. “It’s Jisoo...”
“I didn’t think-”
You cut him off, “I didn’t either.” You threw your head back against the seat. “I’m so stupid...” you whimpered.
“Hey,” Jaebum comforted. “Jinyoung’s an ass. This is not your fault.”
“No, you must be so disappointed in me,” you said. He immediately shakes his head. “I slept with him,” you confessed. “I slept with him because I wanted to prove to him I was better than the other women. I let him play with me...”
Jaebum pulls you in for a hug to comfort you. “Shh...it’s okay.”
“I wanted to be better so badly that I let him toy with me. But how can I compare to Jisoo? She’s not like his other women; not like me. He loves her...”

Hello Chapter: Hello, CIX
Nala joins the lineup for CIX.
Genre: fluff
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: none
Everything that day had gone wrong so far. Starting from the second she woke up to someone drizzling cold water on her.
Then came the dance practice after school. Nala was not known for her dance skills, and whenever she messed up in the least it seemed like she’d never get it right.
Then finally it was not being able to eat dinner that night due to a diet. It wasn’t her fault she’d stayed at the same weight for months no matter what she’d done to try and lose a few pounds.
And that night, Nala was hungry.
So when she got the phone call from her brother Alex, the last thing she wanted to do was answer. But knowing Alex, he would scold her for not answering the next time he saw her. And Nala hated when her brother got onto her for anything.
It’s not like she needed a third parent. Right?
Sighing, she hit accept and turned the phone to speaker DK she wouldn’t have to hold it. “Alex, you had better have a good reason for calling at this hour-“
“I do,” Alex cut her off, sounding more excited than he had since getting placed into the lineup for the new boy group. “And you’re going to be thrilled, sis.”
“Spill.” Nala shifted on her mattress, still skeptical.
She heard Alex take a deep breath through the phone. “You’re in the lineup.”
It didn’t quite register. “What?”
“You’re gonna debut in CIX. With me.”
“What?”
“Listen. The lineup is BX, Seunghun, Yonghee, me, Jinyoung, Hyunsuk, and you. CIX will be seven now.”
“Wait, you’re not talking about Bae Jinyoung, are you?”
“Wanna One?”
“Duh.”
“One and the same. And BX and Seunghun were both on Treasure Box.”
“What?!”
“Well, it is what it is. Even if you hate us.”
“Alex Yamaguchi, you know that’s not what I mean. I just mean that I never expected this to happen.” Nala chewed her lower lip, suddenly nervous for what the following day might bring.
“Can’t wait to get you here with us.” Alex fell silent for a moment. “But you know, we’re getting closer to debut. You’re really going to have to step up the dance skills.”
“Anyone besides you who’d be willing to help me?”
“What, you’re still not accepting my help after-”
“Shut up. We don’t talk about that. Just answer my question.”
Alex sighed through the phone. “Other than your own brother, since Jinyoung is easily one of our best dancers-“
“Nope. Not Jinyoung.”
“Why? Scared of him cause he’s already famous?” Nala could practically hear the wink in her brother’s tone.
“I’m not elaborating. Anyone else?”
“Well, there’s always Seunghun-”
“Nope. Someone not previously known.”
“So you are scared of them because they’re famous!” Alex crowed triumphantly.
Nala sighed. “Let’s just leave that aspect alone. Is there anyone else?”
“Hyunsuk- that is, Yoon Hyunsuk. Choi Hyunsuk debuted in Treasure.”
“Did they combine Jaehyuk and Hyunsuk to come up with him?” Nala quipped.
Alex laughed. “No, actually, while his name would suggest that, he looks more like Hueningkai of Txt than either Jaehyuk or other Hyunsuk.”
Nala shook her head, too tired to fully comprehend. “Guess I’ll just have to wait and see for myself. So he’s a dancer but not previously known?”
“Fits all your criteria except for he’s tall.”
“You’re tall and I’m not scared of you.”
“I mean tall. He’s six two.”
“Oh-”
“But, the only members left to help you with dance are: Yonghee, who you’d be scared of because he’s a math genius, BX, who you’d be scared of because he was on Treasure Box, or me, who you don’t trust anymore with dance because of-”
“I said we don’t talk about that-” interrupted Nala.
“-that thing we don’t talk about,” finished Alex at the same time.
Nala sighed. “So basically you’re saying that I’m about to debut in a group where I’m probably going to be scared of all the members?”
“Most likely. I think you’ll find we’re not scary though. Sure, a few of us are previously known. Sure, one of us is tall. But you’ll get used to us.”
“Hope so. Say, your members aren’t hearing your conversation, are they?”
“Huh? What- no, gosh no. I locked myself in the bathroom and turned the fan on high because I knew I’d end up pointing out which members you’d be scared of. But I can hear someone banging on the door so I’d better go.”
Nala laughed in spite of herself. “Yeah, you’d better.”
“Alright, sis. See ya tomorrow.” But before Alex hung up, Nala heard him yell, “Jinyoung, I swear if you bang on that door one more time I’ll-”
Then the line went silent. Nala set the phone down, giggling at the mini-exchange. Hoo boy, if that doesn’t describe Alex, I don’t know what does.
The next morning, Nala was awake bright and early- well, technically it was dark and early, considering that the sun hadn’t even begun to peek over the horizon yet.
She’d stayed up late to pack, and although now she could hardly keep her eyes open, at least she didn’t have to pack this morning. She’d gotten a call from her trainee group’s manager right after Alex hung up, telling her to be ready to leave for the CIX practice room (and ultimately, dorms) early enough to be at the room at seven the next morning.
Stumbling through the room, lines from Insomnia by Stray Kids flitted through her head, eliciting a tired, half-hearted laugh. “Insomnia wasn’t even the reason I didn’t sleep,” she muttered, brushing her teeth and raking a brush through her hair. “Maybe I can catch a few winks before meeting CIX.”
Unfortunately, forty winks was an impossible wish. As soon as she exited the dorm she saw Alex waiting for her. “Alex, what the f-”
“Language, my dear sister.” Alex poked the tip of her nose.
“I was going to say frick, not the actual word.” Nala wrapped her arms around him and closed her eyes. Maybe he would carry her to the room…
“Not a chance, sis.“ Alex pushed her upright and steadied her. “I don’t know why you didn’t sleep, but now you have to wake up.”
“Wake me when we arrive.” Nala flopped onto the floor and refused to move.
“Yonghee might tease you if you’re late,” warned Alex, but Nala could hear the smile in his tone. “Plus, aren’t you the one always telling me that first impressions are the most important?”
“So?”
“Lateness for the first practice doesn’t exactly give off a good first impression. And don’t you want to start off in the leader’s good graces?”
“Who’s the leader?”
“BX.”
Nala shot up and was halfway down the hallway before Alex caught up to her. “Wrong way, sis,” he panted. “It’s the other way.”
“Are you kidding me?!”
It was nearing seven when she and Alex reached the CIX practice room. Nala hung back, nervously biting her nails while Alex slipped inside the practice room to introduce her.
A moment later her phone buzzed with the go-ahead message. Taking a breath, she stepped inside before she could chicken out.
“Hello, I’m Nala-” She stopped short mid-bow, lifting her head and looking around suspiciously. “Alex, isn’t there anyone here?”
“Well, there’s me,” came a voice, and Nala jumped in surprise as a familiar figure came from around a corner. “Hey, Nala, nice to meet you.”
Nala turned quickly to see the speaker, and her eyes widened a bit when she saw BX- real name Byounggon, as she’d known him by before- standing there smiling. “H-hello-”
From across the room, Alex chuckled. “I kinda figured that would be your reaction, sis. Just wait till the rest of ‘em come out.”
“Alex, you planned it this way?”
“Well, you do get overwhelmed by meeting lots of people at once.”
“I… dang. I guess you really aren’t so bad sometimes.”
“I wouldn’t say that yet. You’re gonna hate me in a few minutes. Like, really hate me.”
“How so?” BX queried.
“Remember what I told you last night?”
Nala gasped. “You told him?! Alex, you little-”
Arms encircled her, preventing her from charging over and possibly hurting Alex. Nala struggled. “Alex, you two-faced little fox, you let go of me!”
“I’m not Alex,” laughed the voice of the one holding her.
Nala froze. “Then who are you?”
“Well, I’m not the one everyone knows is good at math.”
“So not Yonghee.”
“Right. I wasn’t on Treasure Box.”
“Okay, you’re not Seunghun.”
“And I’m not the youngest.”
“But the youngest is me,” pointed out Nala, “so that doesn’t really tell me much.”
“Okay, then, I’m not six foot two.”
Nala inhaled. “You’re Bae Jinyoung!”
Jinyoung laughed, swinging her gently from side to side. “Do I sense a Wannable?”
Nala felt a blush rise from her neck to her ears. “I may or may not be a fan.”
Alex hooted. “That means she’s a huge Wannable.”
“Aw, shut up, Alex,” mumbled Nala, embarrassed. “You’d react the same way if you were joining Blackpink.”
“That is not the point.”
Jinyoung chuckled. “Whatever the case may be, I look forward to helping you with dance.”
Nala’s jaw dropped. “Alex!!!”
Alex howled with laughter. “Oh boy, this is going to be so worth whatever she does me to later.”

You heard a loud ringing in your ears as you slowly started to open your eyes the events from yesterday slowly coming back to you, you quickly jumped out of the make shift bed you were laying on all you could think about was how you needed to find Hoseok and tell him that Yoongi did accidently push you. Your started to notice your surroundings and realized that you weren’t with the boys anymore but you were with-
“Y/n how are you feeling hun?” Jinyoung asked you softly with a look of concern “You hit your head pretty heard” he continued with a forced chuckle.
“I’m okay I think but why am I here?” He helped you sit down as he checked your head which was wrapped in something.
“Hoseok and most of the others thought it would be better for you to stay here for a bit after what happened with Yoongi they think that you might need some time” Jinyoung said with this look in his eye you couldn’t really tell what it was, concern maybe anger.
You nodded your head and started to get out of bed, Jinyoung kept asking you what you were doing but you didn’t really know what to say because you didn’t even know yourself. All you knew was that you needed to get to them and explain everything, the sad thing, you didn’t know why you felt that way.
Before you could reach the door Jinyoung’s words stopped you in your tracks…
“He wasn’t always like this you know, Yoongi” you slowly turned around and gave him a questioning look.
“I’ve known Yoongi since we were Teenagers, he was always the quiet type but when he got used to someone he would be more outgoing. He didn’t change into this Yoongi until we were caught and put in a testing facility I always blame myself because if he hadn’t followed me when I got caught than he would still be out there trying to live his life normally; well as normally as possible for a hybrid but leave it to stupid Yoongi to hold on to things dear to him.”
“Why are you telling me this” You asked
“Because you need to know, when we got caught we were put into certain classes based on our Hybrid type which was supposedly how dangerous we were so Yoongi was class A along with Namjoon, I was class B with Taehyung I am sure you can figure out the rest (Hi it is the writer here to tell you the rest of the boys classes lol Jimin and Hobi were in class C Jin was class D and Jungkook class F eventually Jin will move up to class C but you learn later on why hehe).
“They treated Yoongi and Namjoon like animals and eventually they started to act like one, I hadn’t seen Yoongi the whole time I was at the facility but one day they had the top three classes together and that is where Yoongi met Hoseok. Even though the boys are all mated to each other we as hybrids have this thing called our other half which is mostly seen in the most dangerous types of hybrids like Namjoon and Yoongi so Hoseok became Yoongi’s other half they literally are each other even though they are so different”
You stopped him for his rant “Why the fuck are you telling me this Jinyoung, I am sorry that you think I care enough to actually want to know this information but I could care less about Yoongi” Jinyoung gave me a smirk and crossed his arms
“What about Hoseok?” You didn’t know how to answer that question but as much as you hate to admit it Hoseok was starting to mean a lot to you.
“Listen Y/N I’m not going to tell you the whole story because that isn’t may place but I am here to tell you that if you harm Hoseok in any way Yoongi will lash out sometimes it is intentional other times it’s not but just know his is doing it because he loves Hoseok more than anything in this world, now go I’m sure Yoongi is okay plus I’m the doctor not them so they don’t get to say if you leave or stay” You chuckled and smiled lightly as you walked out the door and to the boy’s home.
.
.
.
You knocked lightly waiting for someone to come to the door “Y/N?, Y/N!!!!” Taehyung said excitedly as he quickly pulled you into a bone crushing hug, at the sound of your name the others ran to the door Hoseok pushed Taehyung away from you as he grasped your face in his hands “Are you okay” he asked quietly all you did was nodded afraid that your mouth would betray you.
“Let’s get you in bed you need to rest” Jin said as he grabbed your hand
“Wait, it isn’t Yoongi’s fault he didn’t do it on purpose and honestly it was my fault so if you want to be mad at anyone be mad at me and please don’t give me the bullshit answer that it isn’t my fault because it is and I’m sorry” You said confidently but your confidence was starting to falter as the silence in the room because unbearable.
Namjoon walked up to you and did something that you would never have expected….. (oooo I guess I’m a bitch because cliff hanger sorry lmaoooo)
