like if they spell it correctly they will lowkey convey to me that I’m a dumbass and need to change it

it’s not changing- 10 year old soop chose it and 19 year old soop is keeping it

#meranda #it’s hard being someone who intentionally misspells stuff #but also makes an unholy amount of typos #fun facts- meranda was my first ever oc that was just revamped this year #she’s a nostalgia gremlin #she actually started off as a mermaid #which is why it was MERanda #I thought I was so clever #baby soop legit had no idea it was an actual name #and because of that I in current time cannot hear it as a real name as well #it’s just a dumb sound I made up when I was 10 - I’m original- I am the goodest #meranda is also kinda part of a trinity of ocs #but I split it into three different people because I’m indecisive hee hee hoho #so she started off as this mermaid lady #then I wanted to be epic and made her a coyote mermaid in later years #then I made her just an earth wielding coyote #and then I changed her name to Ava and got rid of the coyote thing #and then my friends made up this species that was similar to a siren but w/o the scales and mermaid tail #so then Ava became an earth wielding Lamivian #then I joined a dr rp server back in 2021 and wanted to kinda make it an au for Ava- so I changed her name to Virginia #then people really liked Virginia but I still wanted Ava so I just made Vi a separate character them made em twins #and then I missed meranda and just revamped the earliest design of Ava/Virginia #and now they’re separate characters #Meranda is a lil baby coyote that lives under the care of Whyen #I changed Virginia’s name to Evangeline and Ava’s name to Bellamy #the end #joop goes rarara #joop doots

see the problem with having a glass of wine in order to force myself to stop responding to work things via the logic of ‘i should not read or write emails while drinking’ is that since I’ve officially put myself in ‘at least pretend to relax you idiot’ mode, I now think I should be doing all Free Time Activities (tm) that I haven’t been able to do lately. but also. if i shouldnt be reading emails while drinking somehow i also dont think i should be reading a 500 page book. so there’s that aspect

#legend of zelda #loz #twilight princess #loz tp #i'm still reeling that someone sent me an ask about this one.. that they took the time to find my tumblr and tell me they liked it #it really meant a lot; thank you to anyone that stops to leave comments like that. they make me happy #but yeah! here's the usual symbolism ramble:#i thought it'd be cool to have the 'spirits' flowing one way and the cats walking through them the other way #to kinda show the difference in life inhabiting the village in the past and present #link's face is covered because impaz was just waiting for 'the hero' so his clothes are what matters; not his face #and it (hopefully) gives a surreal and intangible sense to 'the hero' she could only hope would actually show up #you can feel free to interpret the glowy blue sheikah as ghosts or just as memories of the past! i couldn't decide either way #the one on the bottom left is oot impa since she's implied to be the village founder. so i guess she would be a ghost actually?#fan art #my art #project stuff #and ahhh the book-- everyone's stuff is so beautiful!!#especially the writing. some of the fics made me really tear up and some were so fun and clever. i really love them #a lot of them captured the sheer burden of the role of the sheikah; all of the time and grief and doubt #i know i always say this stuff about every project but. the people i get to work with in these are truly so skilled every time

LOOK AT THIS VASE I MADE IN MY CERAMCS CLASS IT WAS REALLY HARD AND THERE WERE SO MANY RISKS BUT I DID IT AND NOTHING WENT WRONG ITS A MIRACLE (also i know NOW it looks like ferrofluid, but it was actually not the intention from the start LOL) If you're curious as to the inspo + process, it was inspired by this minoan jug on the left! It was made in two parts, and was originally supposed to be sleeker, longer, and smaller spikes but uhh look I'm not very good at ceramics LOL. So the size of the spikes and the more round shape.. already not on purpose, a byproduct of my lack of skill.

There was a lot of waffling on what colors I wanted to do, I had floated Squeakoid colors (white base, colorful spikes), all black, tenmoku (black but breaks brown), as well as half and half.

I decided on black in the end because DARK GOTH VIBES and my teacher felt the shape was so much already that simple black would highlight the silhouette and not be too busy. And that's how in the end it turned into a ferrofluid vase by accident LMFAO

Okay if you haven't yet, and you have Netflix/Paramount+, consider giving "School Spirits" a chance.

It looks like a silly little cheesy teenage ghosts show, I put it on for background noise, and then got totally engrossed in the mystery. It's VERY well written, very well filmed, the mystery was GREAT and the payoff at the end is also great.

One of the things majorly lacking in shows I've recently tried to watch is that they try to do a twist/reveal at the end that comes out of nowhere. They don't want you to guess what they're doing. This show doesn't do that. This show wants you to guess. They give you seven different mysteries and enough clues to guess (most of) what is going on, so that when you get the final puzzle piece to any given mystery, it feels GREAT.

The story premise is this: a teenager in hs wakes up as a ghost in the hs, and doesn't remember how she died, and with the help of the other ghosts, tries to solve the mystery of her own death.

Simple premise. BEAUTIFULLY executed. Not all of the questions that arise get answered, but the main one (what she doesn't remember) gets solved by the end of the season, leaving the "why/how and what comes next" to be carried to the next season. It does a cliffhanger RIGHT. But now I desperately want to see the second season (which I believe has been approved, so it's a matter of waiting).

So pretty please, if you're looking for something to do and a great, engaging lil mystery to watch, consider! School Spirits!!

#school spirits #there is so much in this show #Spike and I finished watching it today #her for the first time me for the second #and the second time through it was even better because I was picking up the right threads #the first time through there are SO MANY CLUES #but there are also SO MANY MYSTERIES that you aren't sure which clues belong to which mystery #and then the last half of the last ep hits #and dumps out all the final puzzle pieces to several mysteries #and we spent like an hour digging through thoughts afterword #pulling out themes and clues #and there are some potentially REALLY CLEVER things done #and actually they 100% followed through on the things they set forth and paid off so far #so I feel pretty confident some of the things we pieced together actually belong to the puzzle #and aren't just mistakes #or coincidences #and it's been so long since I got to see actually good writing STAY good writing through #I'm so stoked for this series

just. mac gave dennis a rocket launcher dennis loved it despite the lack of rocket…. it wasn’t about functionality it was about being known and seen and loved…… but then when the rocket came mac turned their relationship real and dennis didn’t want it anymore….. couldn’t handle a loaded gun…… only the safe illusion of it…... only the outline of power……. but mac could…. and so he used the rocket to blow up dennis’ car after dennis left him for giving him it…………
