I haven't seen wild hedgehogs in years, but I saw one on my late evening/night walk today, and I'd forgotten how small and cute they are really are. 😳

#personal #i saw something move ahead of me and at first i thought it was a rat #but then it started moving closer with those ridiculously short little feet of its #and i was like omg it's a hedgehog #and i tried to stay still but ofc it saw me and then tried to get away #but we were on the pavement and it was too high for it to get off so it just froze there and kept looking at me #and i looked at it and then crouched down for a while to see what would happen #but it wouldn't move so i knew i had to #i was a little worried it's gonna freak out when i start walking and then try to jump off and hurt itself #but luckily it stayed still #and waited until i was far enough until it started moving again and got back to the grass where it had come off in the first place #but man it was cute

oof, I finally bit the bullet & re-pierced my one closed-over ear today, but I ended up having to push the stud in from the back to be sure I lined it up correctly so now my ear looks Quite stupid for the time being and is in fact Very angry at me for stabbing her so brutally lmfao

#I tried going back & flipping the earring after the initial pierce but ear was Not Having It lol #so I'll give it a few days maybe & then try again :b #ALSO!! My hairdresser didn't spend the entire hour telling me about how she would purposefully mess up the names of her Asian coworkers and make racist comments to their face as if looking for me to validate her actions, in between comments about how I looked like a little doll (baby talk voice), all while I sat there and couldn't move, for ppl to say depictions of racism in books are 'too blatant' or 'too preachy' 🙄🙄🙄
