this will be the death of me ( crime lord au )

this one was based off of a conversation i had with a friend about the various other ways steph could’ve stopped her dad instead of becoming a vigilante. i thought it was the most interesting.

in this au, steph is a little more morally gray. well, morally gray enough to decide to become a crime lord just to make her dad look stupid. basically one of those “you’ve been trying to be a batman rogue for years and it took me three months to do better”, and then it snowballs out from there. it gets to the point where she’s no longer looking at it as a way to get back at her dad, and an actual way of living.

it’s a crack treated seriously fic, because a lot of it you need to suspend your disbelief. it also has timsteph, because i think the idea of tim dating the girl who’s criminal empire he is trying to topple is funny.

she girl bosses so hard while committing several felonies.

also because she doesn’t have to worry about her secret identity she dyes her hair purple (also to symbolize her spoiler costume in another world). by the end of the fic she will have tried every purple hair dye i can find on google.

imagine being a goon and your boss is some sixteen-year-old girl also concerned about her english essay because she may be a crime lord but she’s a crime lord with an education!!!!

this one’s more serious but i can’t write just angst to save my life so it still gets silly.

stephanie has been able to see the dead for as long as she can remember, and she’s been helping them since she’d been able to. normally it was small things, like a ghost wanting to make sure her poor Mr. Fluffy was being well taken care of, until she meets the spirit of the once-was robin.

all jason wants is his dad to stop being so violent, but steph isn’t going to walk up to big man batman and tell him Hey, you’re upsetting the spirit of ur dead Robin, stop it, so instead she decides to just take his mind off of it.

they become besties. they hang out constantly. she teaches jason everything she knows about being a ghost. best six months of her life.

until he disappears!!!!

now, the fun thing about ghosts is they’re like little spies. they see everything and they can move faster and further than humans, so they see even more.

the ghosts tell her that jason isn’t just missing, he’s alive. and he’s been taken out of the country.

now normal people might’ve ran straight to the bat, but not steph, she’s got the power of ghost spies and spite, she’s hunting her undead bff down herself. with the help of a freaky little brainiac kid (aka tim drake).

and then she accidentally discovers the league of assassins … oops

the devil knows my name ( prophet au / supernatural crossover )

in supernatural, there are prophets of the lord. they all (seem, we have met two.. well.. it gets complicated) to have different purposes in being prophet. the first one, chuck, writes the "gospel of winchester" which is just the future of the main characters lives. the second prophet, kevin, is the person who translates the word of god.

there can only be one prophet at a time, which would suck for my au, but! but! in a fun plot twist (spoiler warning) chuck actually ends up being god in disguise.

so in the version, steph is the actual prophet that chuck replaced. chuck is still there because he is important, there's just two prophets because god committed identity theft.

this means the au takes place in season four of supernatural, which (spoiler warning) has dean winchester returning from the dead/hell because the biblical apocalypse is about to go down on earth. yeah, i'm throwing batman into the actual biblical apocalypse, where angels and demons are both the bad guys trying to have a grudge match that'll level the earth.

i'm so hyped for it.

I'm slightly worried about Realm of X and how it will portray Illyana. I almost wanted her to be part of the Dark X-Men lineup to actually set scores with the Goblin Queen after what went down in Dark Web... Okay more like what didn't go down in Dark Web. GQ is still ruling over Magik's kingdom too so like there's actual material to work with here. Some dueling to be done awesomely. Maybe even a crossover with Doctor Strange since the Limbo team might end up dealing with a few big things on Earth while they're at it?

Same with Uncanny Spider-Man especially after they teased Mystique showing up in it because eh there's no reason for her to be in that kind of plotline?? Also why now? Why would Kurt be curious about a secret of hers now? This is supposed to be happening after Krakoa fell along with the Quiet Council. Why is Kurt investigating her now and not back when she first joined the council? Or after she first conspired against it? Why is she getting involved in his life now and not back when he started his religion or literally grew horns? Like what gives? I feel like the only relevant thing she could be telling him in USM is "I'm the only one in this family who commits identity theft! Find your own felony!"

I wouldn't disregard that future in Realm of X, who knows what the final battle may be. So far Clea + Dr. Strange haven't acknowledged it, but like you said, it is more of a Magik issue because that was her realm and not there's. If she needs help and the writers want to keep it an X-Men issue only, I have a bad feeling they may not bring in Dr. Strange at all. But we'll see what happens. I don't know how long this series will go on but I've got a feeling we won't see their final showdown until the very in.

For Uncanny SM.. we've barely got scraps to go off of, just a vague synopsis. Perhaps later this summer we'll get more insight into the supposed big reveal, but it's too soon for me personally to start theorizing and stuff I don't feel like we have enough info right now.

that was a big sidestep, though the show has dealt with “i got pregnant while possessed by a demon” 

(update: IS this a fic trope?? have I somehow managed to never see an accidental baby from soulless sam fic while there are tons out there???)

for the record, Sam would absolutely take responsibility as much as he could, but now for Crossover Purposes, I am trying to think who would the most likely Baby Mama would be

Elektra Nachios--Sam goes FERAL because he can’t let a child be raised as an assassin!!! Dean doesn’t get what the big deal is, chick’s rich and being a trained assassin seems a half-step up from being a hunter, so, you know, not bad! Sam and Elektra keep kidnapping their baby back and forth. Elektra thinks this is his way of flirting. Their kid is in middle school before they realize that kidnapping is not how custody works. Also both Sam and Elektra are dead or have been dead so that’s fun.

Wanda Maximoff--Wanda’s seen enough shit, BUT Wanda being a witch is PRIMO comedy. Wanda and Sam have a very side-eye-UGH relationship because Wanda very much does not approve of monster hunting and the Winchesters have a storied history of hating witches. Bonus points for Billy finding out his mom is a cougar and taking the kiddo to have playdates with Little Kate, and by “taking” I mean “kidnapping during a Wanda/Sam screaming match” and in doing so accidentally introducing Dean to the whole team, causing no less that six separate bisexual crises

Natasha Romanov--Natasha has spent, what, 50 years unable to get pregnant, so she finds out and is like “haha what the FUCK are you talking about” and wants absolutely nothing to do with a baby, she’s got enough on her hands with watching over Steve thank you very much. She tracks Sam down (scary enough!) and hands over the baby with no explanation. She’s not mean, she gives him like, a diaper bag full of supplies (and she stuck a subdermal tracker behind the baby’s ear so she can keep track of them). She pops by once every few months. They have the least antagonistic coparenting relationship (mostly because Natasha is like, I do not want to be a parent, I am fine being this child’s friend and vodka aunt who happened to give birth to them)

Kate Bishop--you know I had to do it to ya. I can’t imagine Kate being careless with protection so this is a “Winchester dicks are murderous and also magical, apparently” and she is FrEaKiNg OuT. Billy and Clint go with her to all the lamaze classes and all of the Young Avengers are like “we’re having a baby!!!” and Kate gets so mad because SHE is having a BABY, SHE is going through labor.  Everyone in her birthing classes thinks that she’s carrying Clint and Billy’s baby, which is the only thing that gets her through it without committing a felony. She runs into the Winchesters when they’re on a hunt arrowing and knifing a monster with a tiny little baby strapped to her chest. And Dean is? Beside himself? Lady, what the hell??? Are you doing bringing a baby into a knife fight??? She’s mad that he would question her parenting skills and then she sees Sam and manages to knock him on his ass without waking up Baby because you FUCKER

Birth by Wish, Chapter 1 - Initium (Preview) FFXV X PMMM

A/N: OMG I’m shaking y’all! It’s the very first fic I have ever posted and it’s also going to be a long on.

This is what I have written so far for the beginning of Chapter 1 for the prequel to Magica XV, which is set during the events in FFXV, before the actual timeline for the game. The prequel is set in the Brotherhood Era while Noctis, Prompto, and our OCs Daisy and Reina are in high school.

Magica XV is a crossover between Final Fantasy XV and Puella Magi Magica Madoka that @eatmorepie and I have been planning for months in advance. We’ve created our babies Daisy and Reina with bits of ourselves in them so we hope you guys will enjoy their journey with us as they grow! Together we decided that only one of us will post the fic and the other would post any artwork that we may come up with, so I will be posting the fic on my blog and @eatmorepie will post the artwork. :)��

I am still writing and proofreading Chapter 1 of Birth by Wish and will hopefully post the full chapter here soon! I want to tag some friends and people I admire in the FFXV fandom that I know of here and well, hopefully get some feedback on what I can improve on!

“Rei! Come on, we gotta go home. Dad’s gonna have Cream Crustacean Omelette tonight!”

“No.”

“Rei I swear to the Six, if you don’t end this round right now, I’m gonna bite you.”

“Daisy, you know I gotta train for the next competition! I need to pay for that concert ticket.”

Daisy sighed, “You know how I get when I’m hungry. And besides, my dad’s finally home and staying the night at home instead of going off on a mission or sleeping at the Citadel. You can live without training for one full night for the Rhythm game competition!” She was exasperated, it had been a long day of school and being the President of Sewing Club at Insomnia High School added even more stress on her shoulders. There were expenses that she had to calculate and work out to pay at the school bank with their funds and the staff haven’t been quick in signing the reimbursement papers.

“You can’t do that. You have to go all out ‘cause it’s all or nothing.” Reina argued. Daisy gave her a look.

All she wanted to do for the rest of the night was to enjoy a nice, warm meal with Reina and her dad, Hastam Fortem. Her dad was apart of the famed Kingsglaive, the king’s elite force of soldiers, sworn to serve and protect Lucis from any and all enemies. And, as he was apart of such a group of soldiers, he was sent outside of the walls of Insomnia and was occasionally home for long periods of time.

It was only the two of them, after her mother, Rosalina Fortem, had cheated on Hastam with their neighbor, Gordon Jackson, a paroled convict at the time. She was unhappy with her marriage to Hastam, with the fact that his wage was not generous and he was rarely at home to satisfy her and her spending habits. During her affair with Gordon, Rosalina had committed several acts of felony against many of the wealthy people in the rich district with him.

Together, they had stolen from over five families and they were caught by the authorities at last, only after the fact they had killed a couple who were sleeping in the house the two had pillaged. They would have gotten away with it however, if Hastam had not reported Rosalina and Gordon to the detectives assigned to the case after discovering some of the jewelry they had taken in his and Rosalina’s shared bedroom. Gordon and Rosalina were arrested on December 10, 743, but it was not the last of what the three would hear from them.

After the ordeal with his ex-wife, Hastam spent his free time in Insomnia with Daisy, his daughter by blood, and Reina, his daughter by bond. Hastam has been taking care of them both after the death of Reina’s parents, as he knew Valentina Videre, Reina’s mother, a member of the Glaive, and her husband, Cecil Videre, before Daisy and Reina were born.

They had met an untimely death on their way back home from a night out on a date they had died in a car crash when Reina was eight on December 24, 743, on Christmas Eve.

It appeared to be just a car accident at first. It was only revealed that it was a contracted hit after members of the Glaive had gotten involved in the investigation. After their conviction, Gordon and Rosalina had threatened Hastam that he would get payback for what he did. Rosalina knew that Hastam had suspicions that she has been stealing from the wealthy of Insomnia, after the incident where he found and confronted her about the stolen jewelry he recognized from the couple who was reported to have been killed by them. Gordon had paid one of his associates to kill Hastam, on one of the nights where Daisy and Reina were staying at the Videre residence, while he drove back from dropping off Daisy at Reina’s. Little did his associate know, that night Hastam had convinced Valentina and Cecil to take off from watching the kids at their house and offered to watch them instead.

Fate was not kind to the Videre family that night.

Cecil was a civilian, and therefore did not see Valentina as often as they both would’ve liked. Hastam had been the one to encourage Cecil to pursue the confident, radiant woman and continued to support the couple. One of the many things he did was to help the couple have their date nights often, something he regretfully did not do much with his marriage to Rosalina, so that they could spend time together as a couple, rather than just as parents. Valentina and Cecil decided to have a Christmas Eve dinner date at the diner they frequented before their angel, Reina, was born. They had taken Hastam’s car, which he had insisted since his was refueled with enough gas to last the trip to the diner and back. They left at around 5:00PM and promised to be back at 9:00PM since they had work the next day.

Hastam stayed up and had the girls in bed by 8:30PM and waited for the two until he fell asleep at 10:05PM. He had gotten a call from the Insomnia Police Department that Valentina and Cecil had passed away in the early hours when a driver had passed by the wreckage. Hastam immediately called in the members of the Glaive and enlisted their help in the investigation. With their expertise, they swiftly found out who Gordon’s associate was.

He was only known in the underground world of Insomnia as “The Silencer”. The Insomnia Police Department assembled one of their SWAT team together to apprehend “The Silencer” who was rumored to reside in an abandoned building in the outskirts of the city near the wall.  By a stroke of luck, they managed to capture “The Silencer” and put him through interrogation, which the Glaives helped with as they have experience in interrogating the most dangerous individuals in Eos. After two days, he confessed that Gordon and Rosalina had put out the hit on Hastam, not on the Videre couple.

Following the confession, Gordon and Rosalina were put on trial yet again in court and their sentence was changed to life in prison for theft, grand theft auto, and first degree murder, “The Silencer” was charged with first degree murder as well. Hastam and the glaives had taken over the duty of planning the funeral for Valentina and Cecil. Reina’s aunt was out of town on a business trip and could not spare the time to plan the funeral herself as “she could not allow any distractions to stop her from achieving her career and dreams”, not even Valentina’s and Cecil’s funeral service. However, she was forced to take legal custody of Reina as her only living relative, and was required to provide Reina a place to stay until she was eighteen.

That was the last of what Daisy, Reina, and Hastam would hear of Gordon and Rosalina. Even though Reina was under the guardianship of her aunt, she was practically adopted by Hastam with all the time she spent with the father and daughter duo at their home, where she actually felt at home. Auntie’s never at home. Why even bother going home early if there’s no one waiting for me at my “home”. Staying at Daisy’s is a lot better. Reina sighed and complied, packing up her belongings from the compartment under the game she was playing. “Alright, alright, let’s go home then. I forgot to eat lunch today too so I’m pretty hungry right now.”

Exasperated, Daisy scolded Reina, “What?! Again? Seriously Rei! How many times have I re-” her hands reached into her school bag, about to pull out a granola bar and apple juice box she keeps in days like this, but stopped and caution replaced her ire. She gave their surroundings a once over. Her soul gem gave a pulse from her ring.

“Daisy? What’s up?” Reina was confused. Wasn’t she going to scold her for the nth time for not eating on a healthy schedule?

“Can’t you feel it too? There’s a familiar somewhere around here. Maybe two or four blocks away, but I can feel it. We should go and take care of it now when it’s still weak, I’m not in the mood to go hunt down a rampant witch on finals week when it does turn into a witch.” She took her phone out of a small pocket in her school bag and opened the chat with her dad. Sorry dad, we’ll be home a bit late tonight. Rei’s obsession with her rhythm games has taken over and I can’t do much about it right now until she’s done. “There sent, my dad thinks that we’re still here and that you’re just overly into your games again. Let’s go now and then when we get back home we can eat, you forgetful idiot.” Daisy sent Reina a reprimanding look, being her sister-from-another-mister and her surrogate mother.

“Oh my god mom, chill out! I’m going, I’m going!” Reina teased.

Daisy only dignified it with a slap on the back of Reina’s head.
