Dead end job headcanon post for Valentines Day because they're the only thing that matters to me

- Autistic power couple honestly

- Coffin stays over at Briefcase and Brendon's on the weekends

- Very co-dependent

- their love language is quality time :3

- they go on late night walks a lot

- they're an old married couple and I don't take criticism

- Coffin carries Briefcase to bed when he overworks himself

- Coffin has a lot of nicknames for Briefcase, though he usually uses “Love” or “Dear”

- Coffin only lets a few people call him Finn and Briefcase is one of those people (Also Electracey)

- they're so doomed by the narrative it hurts me

- I just think they cuddle a lot, Coffin’s probably touch-starved

- They try on each other's glasses for fun, but they have completely different prescriptions so they can't see anything lol

- coffin takes great care of all the flowers Briefcase gives him for valentines day

- They also always hang out at a cemetery or take a walk in the woods for Valentine's Day

This is why I love tumblr the most.

I see a post that’s like “Tell me what your current obsession is in the tags” and people just go off like the post passionate people I’ve ever seen in the world in the tags like “OMG I LOVE THEM SO MUCH” and “I HAVE BRAIN ROT” like everyone is clinically insane over our favourite things and we can be that way and not be judged as harshly as on other platforms

The fact that we’re all collectively just screaming in text with excitement over our special interests, brings out just a little bit of sunlight on the cacophony of bombarding noise that is the internet and internet toxicity in general.

The more I see people bursting at the seams in joy over their blorbo, the more at home I feel with a bunch of strangers.

The virtually harmless unhinged love for fictional characters is the sort of thing I want more in life.

OK here r my seabreeze thoughts (these specific ones take place durijg seabound in an au where morro gets brought back during dotd and becomes apart of the ninja team :] maybe similar role 2 pixal where he helps but doesn’t go on every mission?)

ok so morro being afraid of water doesn’t meet benthomar until later cause he doesn’t go on the mission. morro being morro is probably distrustful of benthomar at first cause he’s EMO and EDGY(/afffectionate). also probably doesn’t trust him cause he’s nice and upbeat and shit and as for stated reasons he’s like. nah. gotta be an act or smth. benthomar probably doesn’t care that much cause he’s too focused on the task at hand but i think it would be funny if he was just a little annoyed at morro. morro uses this to fuel his “benthomar is sus” theory. HOWEVER maybe after seeing him fight morro gains a little more respect for him. benthomar maybe learns more abt morro through the other characters and becomes less annoyed with him as morro gains respect for him. this ties into the headcanon of revived morro being afraid of water BUT what if while they’re trapped in that building like before nya merges w the sea morro is freaking out cause surrounded by water and he freaks out a little but benthomar comforts him. after that theyre on better terms and also shortly after morros freak out he has a SECOND freak out while realizing he has a crush on benthomar. benthomar also has on abt morro like one room away.

Hey 2010-2013 tumblr residents who have never left, I don’t have the poll function on this blog but as one of you, I would like us to gather ‘round and discuss something. I know the Onceler gets the title for the first documented tumblr sexy man, but given the chokehold Cecil Gershwin Palmer has had on here as a whole these last 11 years & his debut coinciding alongside the Onceler fandom domination, would it be more accurate to call him the standard?

I know I sound like I’m speaking blasphemy but hear me out. Many of the base line traits past winners of the tumblr sexy men generally have are actually closer to Cecil’s canon outfits, hair style, power scaling, sass, & personality as a whole (especially in fan works). And, tbh, past polls staff made went by most used tags at the time rather than long term lasting impact (which is one of the many reasons why Sans has been a power house for several years now despite the very obvious lull in Undertale fandom activity). If Onceler was truly the standard, Sans would have never qualified on the grounds of a lot of people want to fuck him as a skeleton rather than as a human & Reigen doesn’t have nearly as many aus to qualify in comparison to the majority of his past competitors. Furthermore a sexyman is supposed to be evil OR have a unique trait, which the Onceler doesn’t even meet because his power of being big oil is temporary & he guilt’s himself out of evil. And no- playing guitar isn’t unique when you think about all past winners; Sans and Reigen could sing and play the guitar but the Onceler can’t throw hands without needing money to hire people to do it for him. If you make Cecil the standard, there is no contradiction nor issue with the rules.

Anyways everyone chew it over, doubly those of us who could qualify for a veteran’s discount, because the new polling system made me realize staff kinda ignored Cecil & many other men properly for a while now on the grounds of trending popularity within the prior year instead of the actual requirements a character has to meet under the “Onceler” standards. And shout out to all the Onceler fans- sorry if I made you mad with this but we’ve needed to all collectively reconsider what the winners are actually referencing for a while now.
