It’s hard to say, probably not. I’m working on some, but I have literally dozens of other requests I’m working on simultaneously. So with some Freddy fics clearly already coming and scheduled, I don’t think it would be fair to add more of his prior to other ones that have been waiting.

That being said, I just finished my un-proofread/unedited draft of a Kaz x Reader angst fic I plan on sharing soon.

You know, I find it very annoying that artists, animators, actors, writers, and a bunch of other people bitch and whine about how much they hate generative AI and want it in its entirety to be banned and criminalized while at the same time loving stuff that either humanizes AI or portrays it in a positive light, like Murder Drones, The Wild Robot, Futurama, Detroit Become Human, My Life as a Teenaged Robot, Star Wars, and Free Guy; as well as talking about how much they love and/or fetishize ai characters like T-800, HAL 9000, and Ultron; and how they support robotkins and AIkins; like, my sibling in Christ, NO YOU DO NOT!!! If characters like Roz, Wall•E, Karen Plankton, Jenny Wakeman, C-P30, B.E.N, BMO, and Uzi Doorman were real, you would not be friends with them, nor would they be your waifu/husbando/babygirl, YOU WOULD BE ACTIVELY ADVOCATING FOR THEIR SEGREGATION AND/OR EXTERMINATION DUE TO THEM TAKING YOUR JOBS AND USING TOO MUCH WATER!!!

Hi! Just a reminder that AI is not some all-powerful entity beyond human comprehension. AI is not going to take your job because it’s better at your job than you are, or because it’s “oNLy gOinG tO GeT BeTter” in the coming years.

AI is going to take your job because it can do a shitty enough IMITATION of your job that your boss can use it as a credible excuse for firing you.

And then when your boss “finds out” the bot doesn’t work without constant human intervention (what a shocker!)…they can hire your actual replacement at a MUCH LOWER SALARY—because this won’t be as hard as YOUR job! It’ll “just” 🙃 be polishing the meat slurry the company bots shit out on a conveyor belt.

This is why companies are so dead set on stuffing AI down our throats despite the backlash: If not because they were unlucky enough to take the scam at face value, then because they plan to ride the hype until the bubble bursts, or because they smelled a way to replace you—not with a robot, but with a human babysitting a robot. They need the public to buy this premise of the omnipotent “AI” overlord because otherwise they can’t pretend firing you is just an unfortunate side effect of innovation. It’s not. These programs, before they were unleashed upon the commercial scene, were designed with human supervision in mind. You always need a professional in the room to check a bot’s work. sometimes when i talk about AI it feels like this is what the conversation is like:

person A: hey. did you hear theres a mythical giant drinking the ocean through a straw? look, it’s crazy.

person B: well, i dunno. the giants already there, so we may as well just learn how to cope with it.

person C: i disagree, actually. the giant is good for humanity and will solve cancer!

person D: well i think all of you are extreme. what we do is divide the ocean in half. that way the giant can continue stealing our water and we might be able to survive for a few more decades.

person A: why don’t we just stop the giant from drinking our water?

person B: well then what would happen to the giant? how are you personally gonna stop the giant?

person C: well i don’t think thats fair. the giant has a lot of good qualities that people tend to overlook just because he’s drinking the ocean.

person A: holy fuck guys there’s a second giant and they’re implementing laws so we can’t take their straws away

That’s a little extreme, don’t you think? I’d say I’m just a normal husband to her. She doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to, and I’m not gonna push her just because she’s my wife.
